Wahb Bin Kaysaan said: Ibn Umar saw a shepherd (with his animals) in a repulsive place and he saw (another) place that was (cleaner); so Ibn Umar said: Woe to you O Shepherd! Relocate them, for indeed I heard the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) saying: ”Every shepherd is responsible for its flock.”
Shaikh Abdullah Al-Bukhaari (may Allaah preserve him) stated in his explanation of Umdatul Ahkaam lesson 1, that the Sharee’ah is characterised with three qualities:
Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadi (may Allaah preserve him) stated:
Much effort was made with well thought out plans to lead many people astray from this (Salafi) methodology. This path became surrounded with methodologies (Madhāhib) that fiercely opposed it. They did not want anyone to establish this (Salafi) methodology because it is the true Islam in which there is no worship to other than Allāh and no (unconditional) obedience to other than Muhammad, the Messenger of Allāh (sallahualayhiwasallam), and thus causing the partisan, sectarian, political calls and others to fall. No place would remain for them so they stroved to attach the youth to the heads of sectarian groups, different partiesandslogan carriers. (From the lecture‘Asbāb Al-Inhirāf’ )
Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadi (may Allaah preserve him) stated:
If you see a person upon truth and another (person) upon falsehood, it is obligatory that you aid the truth and warn against falsehood; if not, then you are dead-neither recognizing good nor rejecting evil and this is a sign of the heart’s hardness.”
Imaam Muhammad Bin Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) stated whilst stating the benefits of sending Salaah and Salaam upon the Messenger of Allaah (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wsallam);
2nd benefit:
It is from the rights of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) that you send prayers upon him, because Allaah has saved you from misguidance by way of him (and) guided you to the guidance by his way, and there is no way to attain the Pleasure of Allaah [The Most High] and His paradise except by (following the path of) Muhammad (Sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam). If a person was to guide an individual to the way to a city from the cities he was intending to go to, he would see that he owes a great favour to that individual (who showed him the way); so how about the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam)- the one who has shown you the way to get to Paradise? Therefore, it is his right that you send prayers upon him (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam). [Source: Fataawa Noor Alad Darb. Volume 12 page 210]

The article in this link http://www.sahab.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=55218 clarifies this issue. Ismaaeel Bin Abee Khalid [rahimahullaah] was a Taabi’ee and he used to make absurd mistakes in his speech! He used to say: [حدثني فلان عن أبوه ]; rather the correct statement should be [حدثني فلان عن أبيه]

O Ahlus Sunnah! Be warned; for indeed when we desire a speech (i.e. desire to hold a view), we device a hadeeth for it (i.e. either fabricate a hadeeth or utilise it in an ambiguous manner).
