Two Characteristics of Righteousness Bishr Ibn Al-Haarith

Bishr Ibn al-Haarith (rahimahullaah) said: ”You will not become truly righteous until your enemy is safe from you (i.e. your injustice). And how can any goodness be in you when your friend is not safe from you.”

He (rahimahullaah) said: ”I have never seen anything that exposes the affairs of this slave more than his stomach.”
