Can we Read the Books of and Sit with Ahlul Bid’ah? Shaykh Rabee Answers

Al- Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali (may Allaah preserve him) stated:

And that one who does not know the books of refutations, even if he has memorized of knowledge all that is to be memorized, then indeed – may Allaah bless you – he is (still) on an unstable position. We have seen many who know, but then they fell into misguidance…. The full translation with audio is available here:

Remembrance of Allah In The Morning and The Evening

Allaah (The Most High) said:

وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا

And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude. [25:62]

The night and the day differ- this one is white and that one is black. So one takes admonition and contemplates on the difference between them and thanks Allaah for them. [Ref 1] Whoever has missed the remembrance of Allaah in the morning, then indeed the evening has arrived so that he can do so. [Ref 2]

An Upright Behaviour Expected From a Wise Caller to Islam When He Is Opposed or When Someone Differs With Him

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen [rahimahullaah] said:

The heart of the caller [i.e. the caller to Islaam upon sound knowledge, clear-sightedness, wisdom, etc] should be relaxed towards the one who opposes him, especially if he knows that the one who opposes him has a good intention and has not opposed him except to establish the evidence he possesses; therefore, it is obligated on a person to be flexible in these affairs. He should not make this differing a cause for enmity and hatred, except against a man who opposes the [truth] obstinately after the truth has been made clear to him, but he carries on upon his falsehood; then indeed it is obligatory to deal with him [in a manner] he deserves-by alienating him and warning the people about him- because his enmity manifested after the truth has been made manifest to him and [refuses] to follow it. The Preservation of The Sunnah

Nad’dhaam, Abu Hudhayl and other enemies of the sunnah have passed away and the sunnah has remained white and pure. Contemporary enemies of the sunnah will die and the sunnah will remain. Allah has guaranteed its preservation.

The Superior Bliss

Indeed, the superior bliss which is noblest and loftiest in the afterlife- without exception – is to see Allaah’s face.

Uddatus- Saabireen pg43 Ibnul Qayyim

Suhayb ar-Roomi [radiyallaahu-anhu] said that the Prophet [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] said: “When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, Allaah [ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى  ] will say: ‘Do you want anything more?’ They will say: Have You not made our faces bright? Have You not admitted us to Paradise and saved us from Hell?’ Then the veil will be removed and they will not be given anything more beloved to them than looking at their Lord [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ]. [Sahih Muslim]
