Ahmad Bin Abu Sulaymaan (rahimahullaah) said: I heard Sahnoon Bin Sa’eed (rahimahullaah) saying:
”The most daring of the people to issue fatwaa are the ones with the least knowledge amongst them. A man may possess a chapter of knowledge and thus thinks that all truth is contained within it.”

Shaikh Ubaid (may Allaah preserve him) says:
Indeed, the scholars disparaged men with what they deserved of disparagement and they (i.e. those disparaged) were not narrators of (hadeeth). And from that (was the disparagement against) Jahm Ibn Safwaan, Amr Al-Jaahiz and many other than them. Refer back to Siyar A’laam An-Nubulaa and other than it among the books of Jarh Wat-Taweel (and) you will know that this (claim that Jarh Wat-Tadeel is specified to the narrators of hadeeth) is a deception among the deceptions of Iblees-from the deceptions of shaytaan. Some of the wise people said: Whoever is given knowledge (of the religion) and knowledge of the Qur’aan, then it is incumbent that he is aware of himself. He does not lower himself to the people of the Dunya (i.e. those with worldly riches) due to what they possess of the worldly riches; for indeed he has been given better than what has been given to the people of the worldly riches. That is because Allaah (The Most High) called the worldly life ‘A Short Enjoyment; so He said: [قُلۡ مَتَـٰعُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا قَلِيلٌ۬ -Say: “Short is the enjoyment of this world]; and He called knowledge and the Qur’aan [خَيۡرً۬ا ڪَثِيرً۬اۗ- Abundant good]

Allaah (The Most High) stated about the one who was not benefited by the abundant knowledge that was given to him:
[وَلَوۡ شِئۡنَا لَرَفَعۡنَـٰهُ بِہَا- And had We willed, We would surely have elevated him therewith (7:176)]
Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said: Therefore, Allaah informed (us) that being elevated in His presence is not merely acquired through knowledge, for indeed this person was from the scholars; rather elevation is acquired through adherence to the truth, giving precedence to it and aiming to please Allaah. Indeed, this person was among the most knowledgeable during his era, but he was neither elevated through his knowledge nor did he benefit from it. We seek Allaah’s protection from knowledge that does not benefit.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah) said: ‘It is not permitted for a man to say, ‘So and so is a person of the sunnah’ until he knows that he combines the characteristics of the Sunnah, so it is not said of him, ‘a person of the Sunnah’ until he combines all the Sunnah.'[1]
Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (hafidha-hullaah) commented on the above statement of Imaam Barbahaaree saying:
Do not give recommended to a person and a praise of him, except based on knowledge, lest the people become deceived by your praise of him, whilst he is not what (you have stated about him). So when his real affair and path is clear to you, his knowledge and steadfastness; then you can give him recommendation. As for giving out praise and recommendation whilst not knowing of anything about him, then this is a dangerous recommendation through which the people will be deceived by this person.
Had only those who give commendations to the people stopped at that (i.e. put it in its proper place), then they would not give recommendation, except for one who fulfils the conditions of (receiving) recommendation because recommendation is a ‘Witness’; so, if the recommendation is not correct it will be a false witness.
And concerning the statement of Imaam Barbahaaree: ‘until he knows that he combines the characteristics of the Sunnah’ Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan commented on the above statement saying: The characteristics of the Sunnah are to be in Aqeedah, Knowledge and adherence to the Salafus Saaleh. But if there is not in him except a single characteristic of the (sunnah), then he is not judged to be from Ahlus Sunnah on the basis of a single characteristic or one thing, so what about the one who does not have anything from that? So be mindful of those who utilise these foolish statements in order to hide the other deviations and innovations of their figureheads. Likewise, be distant from the obstinate blind followers—those who carry the slogan of Ikhtilaaf, whilst intending falsehood by way of it and to reject the clear unambiguous knowledge based refutations of the scholars against the figureheads of hizbiyyah, bidah and Tamyee.

Greenlane’s Admin [Bold Faced Liars; False Claimants to Salafiyyah and Shelterers of Ahlul Bidah] state on their website as follows: ”GLMCC has excellent contacts with illustrious Scholars throughout the world, especially with Saudi Arabia.”
It is very clear to every Salafi that this Admin shelters and co-operates with individuals and organizations from Ahlul Bidah. This is something established with absolute certainty due to what is clearly witnessed by every Salafi Masjid and Markaz. However, the hizbiyyoon will do whatever is within their capability to flout the sound principles of Ahlus Sunnah in order to conceal their deviations. So you will hear them confusing the people with the claim: ”We have contact with the scholars”; however the attendance of scholars at a Masjid, Markaz or organization of hizbiyyah does not alter its reality. So we’ll suffice ourselves with the following information, which In-Shaa-Allaah will shed light on this affair and expose the deceit of the hizbiyyoon.
