Topple The Upright Scholars of Islaam- [Legacy of Colonialists, Socialists, Innovated Groups That Ascribe to Islaam and Khawaarij]: By Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah preserve him] said:

I will mention what Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] and other than him – amongst the people of knowledge – drew attention to regarding the virtue of the scholars in the statement of Allaah [The Blessed and Exalted] said: [يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِى ٱلۡأَمۡرِ مِنكُمۡ‌ۖ – O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad, and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority]. [Surah An-Nisaa. Verse 59]

The pious predecessors explained the term “Ulul Ilm – those who have been given knowledge” to mean “Al-Umaraa -those who are in authority” and some of them explained it to mean “Al-Ulamaa – the scholars”. However, what is correct is that the verse includes both the scholars and those in authority [i.e. the rulers]. The scholars propagate Allaah’s divine law, teach the people, give rulings to the people and the rulers; and the rulers implement the rulings – implement the knowledge (of the divine law], which the scholars possess and propagate. So, the verse includes both the scholars and rulers. And due to this, Ibnul Qayyim said that it is obligatory to obey the scholars when they say, “Allaah said and Allaah’s Messenger said” in issues related to creed, acts of worship or deeds. (Also with regards to affairs) related to halaal and haram, if they say, “Allaah said and the Messenger of Allaah said” and then they give verdicts and judge based on what the Book and Sunnah necessitates, it becomes obligated on the people to obey them. (a) If the rulers command (the people) to obey Allaah -in agreement with what agrees with Allaah’s divine law, then it becomes obligated on the people to obey them. (b)

(But what is) witnessed (in relation to this affair) is that many people do not acknowledge the status of the people of knowledge, and they say, “They (i.e. scholars) are not guardians over us and there are no popes in Islam”. This (i.e. statement of those who do not recognize the status of the scholars) is tantamount to toppling the scholars, belittling them and removing them from their status (i.e. although neither are the scholars regarded as popes nor are they to be treated as popes, but they are the inheritors of the prophets and must be obeyed when they give rulings and judge based on what the Qur’aan and the Sunnah necessitate). This chronic illness started since the appearance of nationalism, western colonialism, the destructive views of the Naasiriyyah [i.e. Pan Arab Socialists] and Ba’thiyyah [i.e. the Ba’ath party – socialists] etc. The figureheads of these filthy dogmas made strenuous efforts to eliminate Islaam and remove it from their path, which they could not accomplish except by toppling the scholars. Then, this disease spread amongst the (innovated or deviated) groups that attribute themselves to Islaam, so you see them earnestly (seeking) to topple the scholars and describing them as stooges of the (government) authorities, spies, tails of the ruler and other evil nicknames. The (aim behind) all of this is to topple the scholars, especially the scholars of the Salafi methodology – the methodology that declares the one who is correct, the one upon error, the one upon falsehood, the misguided one and the deviated one as they are. There is neither flattery nor Mudaahanah [i.e. showing agreement -being pleased with what an opponent is upon, leaving him in his path and not seeking to rectify him, whilst saying, ‘As long as he keeps quiet about me, I will keep quiet about him’, because the inheritors of the prophets [i.e. the upright scholars]- those who present the truth- are just. They aid the religion ordained by Allaah and propagate it in the ummah. They propagate justice, Ihsaan [i.e. all that will perfect the worship of a person, good dealings and benefiting the people through one’s knowledge, wealth and position etc] and righteousness. And they wage war against evil, Fawaahish (i.e. great evil sins, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse), Shirk, misguidance, innovation in religious affairs and superstitious beliefs beliefs. The Shaikh [may Allaah preserve him] also said, "Indeed, I advise the youth to have good manners, to be humble, honour the scholars and avoid this evil orientation [i.e. the claim of the one who says, 'I do not make Taqleed of such and such', even though the claim behind this is to reject the truth.. read here [ https://salafidawahmanchester.com/2017/12/15c-excerpts-shaikh-rabees-book-titled-marhaban-yaa-taalibal-ilm-i-not-make-taqleed-person/ ], just as the khawaarij used to say, ‘The judgement belongs to none except Allaah’, so Ali [may Allaah be pleased with him] said to them, ‘A statement of truth by way of which falsehood is desired’.

I swear by Allaah -based on my observations of their actions, statements and stances-that these people desire falsehood and to divert the youth from the scholars. The youth exit a maelstrom and fall into another maelstrom, exit one pit and fall into another, because the people of evil and temptation are hidden behind the scenes, as the saying goes, ‘They want pawns’ whom they move back and forth to confront the Salafi Methodology. Where did Ikhwaan al Muslimoon and the Qutubiyyoon (c) get these ideas from in this land [i.e. Saudi Arabia]? Where did the ideas of Juhaymaan, Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq, Al- Haddaad, Al-Maghraawi and Abul Hasan Al-Maribi come from? (d) All of them are tail ends of Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen’s ideas. All of them- beginning with the civil strife initiated by Juhaymaan up to date- are tail ends of Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen’s tempation, whose main setup is to topple the scholars. However, they adopt different apparels and semblances – sometimes they adopt the term Al-Ikhwaan, sometimes the term At-Tasawwuf and at other times they adopt the term As-Salafiyyah! The most dangerous one is the term As-Salafiyyah, because they are unable to confront the Salafi Methodology with the terms At-Tab’leegh and Al- Ikhwaan, so they cover this make-believe act with the term As-Salafiyyah and then come along to challenge the scholars [i.e. the true scholars of the Salafi Methodology]. The Festival “Chaharshanbeh Suri”

This is a festival celebrated on the eve of the last Wednesday before the Iranian New Year, Nowruz, a so called ritual cleansing ceremony. So, people demand that the fire takes all away their yellowing (Yellow = Zard in Farsi), their ailments and problems, and replace them with redness, warmth and power. The festival has some connection with Zoroastrianism [Religion of The Fire Worshippers], but they held that jumping from the top of fire is not good. On this last Wednesday of the year, before sunset on Tuesday, people kindle fires outside their houses. Both adults and children jump from the top of the fire flames and say, “Zardi-e Man Az To, Sorkhi-e To Az man,” to give all of last year’s sadness and problems to fire in order to begin the new year with happiness and ease etc. You’ll also find other myths related to this celebration, but it is enough to know that it has some connection with the polytheism of the Zoroastrians (Fire worshippers)- a Jaahiliy festival (Pre-Islamic Festival). The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The most hated people to Allaah are three: a person who deviates from right conduct [i.e. an evil doer] in the Haram [sanctuaries of Makkah and Medeenah], a person who seeks that the traditions of the Pre-lslamic Period of Ignorance should remain in Islam and a person who seeks to shed somebody’s blood without any right”. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari 6882]

Al-Allaamah Zayd Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “These three deeds are from the major sins. The first major sin is Al-Ilhaad Fil Haram [i.e. deviating from right conduct in the sanctuaries of Makkah and Madeenah]. Ilhaad means to deviate from the truth (and enter into) falsehood, and supporting falsehood in order to obliterate the truth. Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic] censured the Mulhideen Fil Haram [i.e. those who deviate from right conduction in the sanctuaries of Makkah and Madeenah], saying:

[وَمَن يُرِدۡ فِيهِ بِإِلۡحَادِۭ بِظُلۡمٍ۬ نُّذِقۡهُ مِنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ۬ – And whoever intends evil actions therein or to do wrong (i.e. practice polytheism and leave Islamic Monotheism), We shall make him taste a painful torment]. [Surah Al-Hajj. Aayah 25]

Allaah promised them (a severe punishment) due to the mere fact they intend evil actions therein [i.e. in the sanctuaries of Makkah and Madeenah], then how about perpetrating such deed! Indeed that would be a more severe sin, a more frightening state and a more severe punishment. This is a proof regarding the virtue of the sanctuaries of the Haram- that it is a sacred land chosen by Allaah and He made it a place where virtuous acts of worship are performed, (such as) the Hajj which is one of the pillars of Islaam. Allaah gave this place virtues that cannot be enumerated, such as the increased reward attached to good deeds [performed in Makkah and Madeenah] and gave this land virtue over all other lands of the earth.

The second major sin is committed by the person who wants that the pre-Islamic traditions should remain in Islaam, as if he gives precedence to the pre-Islamic traditions – the evil customs that were followed during that period and the misguided deeds- over the Islamic practices, Eemaan, Ihsaan, their virtue and virtue of the Sunnah. He is guilty of committing a major sin, and this includes giving precedence to religious innovations over (the authentic) Sunnah that guides to the straight path.

The third major sin is to seek to shed somebody’s blood without any right – meaning: seeking to shed the blood of a Muslim without right and doing so based on oppression and animosity. Shedding the blood of a Muslim is a great crime, just as the Prophet said, “The extinction of the whole world is less significant to Allaah than killing a Muslim [i.e. unlawfully]”. And he [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] stated regarding the rights of the Ka’bah, “How great you are and how great is your sanctity! But the sanctity of a believer is greater than yours in the sight of Allaah”. It is not permissible to transgress against the Muslims and the believers – males and females- in the sanctuaries of [Makkah and Madeenah] or in other places due to the great sin and punishment which results from that. Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said:

Amongst the different types of liars are the Dajaajilah [i.e. those whose lies are accompanied with deception, beatification of the lies and tricks to convince the people], whom the Prophet [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] spoke about, and reality testifies to the truthfulness of that which this noble Messenger stated, because he never speaks out of his own desire. He [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] said: “The hour will not be established until two big groups fight each other whereupon there will be a great number of casualties on both sides and they will be following one and the same religious doctrine, and until about thirty Dajjaals and liars appear, and each one of them will claim that he is Allaah’s Messenger, and until sound religious knowledge is taken away [i.e. due to death of rightly guided scholars], earthquakes will increase in number and time will pass quickly”. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari] The testimony in this hadeeth is the statement of the Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam], “Until about thirty Dajjaals and liars appear, and each one of them will claim that he is Allaah’s Messenger”. The Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] said, “During the close approach of the hour there will be liars, so beware of them”.

Unfortunately, many people do not take this Prophetic advice in order to be cautious of the liars. There is a long hadeeth narrated by Thawbaan [radiyallaahu-anhu] from Allaah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam], who said, “What I fear for you the most is the leaders of misguidance” until he said, “Indeed, there will be thirty liars in my Ummah and each of them will claim that he is a Prophet, but I am the seal of the Prophets and there no Prophet after me”.

The greatest trial will be that of the greatest Dajjaaj whom all the Prophets warned against, and the one who warned against him the most was our Prophet [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam]. The narrations regarding this are Mutawaatir and its affair is well-known amongst the Muslim, but despite this Allaah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] stated that there is one more dangerous for the Ummah than Dajjaaj. Sam’aan [radiyallaahu-anhu] said, “Allaah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] mentioned Dajjal, one morning, as something despised but also alarming, until we thought that he was in the stand of date-palm trees. When we came to Allaah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] in the evening, he saw that (fear) in us, and said, ‘What is the matter with you?’ We said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah! You mentioned Dajjaal this morning, and you spoke of him as something despised but also alarming, until we thought that he was in the stand of date-palm trees’. He said, ‘There are things that I fear more for you than the Dajjaal. If he appears while I am among you, I will contend with him on your behalf, and if he appears when I am not among you, then each man must fend for himself, and Allaah will take care of every Muslim on my behalf’”. [Saheeh Muslim 2933]

Amongst these Dajjaals – liars – whom Allaah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] warned against was Musaylimah the Liar at Yamaamah and Al-Aswad Al-Unsee who claimed prophethood, and as a result many Arabs exited Islaam; so Allaah destroyed them and others were destroyed, and their trial was ended by way of the swords of the companions of Allaah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam].

And amongst the liars who claimed prophethood was Mukhtaar Bin Abee Ubayd Ath-Thaqafee, the liar about whom the Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] stated, “A liar will appear from Thaqeef a blood shedder”. [Saheeh Muslim 2545] The liar was Al-Mukhtaar and the blood shedder was al-Hajjaaj.

And from those who claimed prophethood was Al-Haarith the liar, and Ghulaam Ahmad Al-Qadiyaanee Al-Hindee who had followers dispersed in the world and they claim that Prophethood is still ongoing. Every liar has other wicked liars connected to him – those similar to their Shaikh.

And from these liars in general was the Yahoodee, the wicked Abdullah Ibn Saba, who falsely claimed to be Muslim and incited many of the rabble against the Rightly Guided Khaleefah Uthmaan Bin Affaan [radiyallaahu-anhu] until he was martyred in that trial. He is the founder of the doctrine of the Raafidha Shiites and its filthy principles, and exaggeration regarding the status of the Prophet’s family until they deified them. Many of them declare Ali [radiyallaahu-anhu] an object of worship and many of them say that Ali is the one whom the Prophet gave the authority of rulership after him. This is from their lies; and that Ali [radiyallaahu-anhu] will return to do such and such, meaning, he will kill AbuBakr [radiyallaahu-anhu], Umar [radiyallaahu-anhu] and five-hundred Khulafaa of Banee Umayyyah and Banee Abbaas. This wicked one [i.e. Ibn Saba] initiated the act of revilement against the companions of the Prophet and other affairs related to the trial he initiated which the heretics promote and are firmly established upon, as well as the figureheads of the Raafidha- the liars; so they fill the world with lies and slanders. Their religion is established on lies and misguidance.

And from those Dajjaals – liars – are the figureheads of bidah and misguidance, such as Jahm Bin Safwaan, the figureheads of the Khawaarij, the Mutazilah, the Huloolee Soofees and grave worshippers, such as Nidhaam Al-Mutazilee, Hallaaj the heretic, Ibn Arabi the heretic, Ibn Sab’een, At-Tilimsaanee and other than them amongst the heretics – liars who hid within Islaam, infiltrators within the ranks of the people of Tasawwuf, because the people of Tasawwuf were a fertile ground for these types of people amongst the heretics, just as the Raafidha are a spacious room for the heretics. Amongst the liars in this era are the figureheads of the political groups, such as the secularists and Baathists [Arab Nationalists], and many of the people who carry alluring slogans in the name of Islaam, such as Islamic socialism, Islamic democracy, the call to unity of religions and many other misguided claims made in the name of Islaam (Ref 1). This takes place amongst groups who claim that they are seeking to raise Islaam very high and that they are established to return the Islamic Ummah to its past glory; however they increase the people in misguidance and darkness, and Allaah’s Refuge is sought. This poses a more severe danger to the people and the youth, therefore it is obligated on the Muslims and the students of knowledge to be extremely cautious of all these types of people, warn the Muslims against their plots and plans, and unveil their secrets. In an article dated February 10th 2021, Heba Yosry stated that UN Women declared February 6th the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), a practice criminalized in several Muslim countries, with Egypt one of them. It recently increased the period of imprisonment for anyone guilty of doing this from 5-7 years, to 5-20 years. Dar al-Ifta the highest Islamic legislative body in Egypt, proclaims that FGM is forbidden under Islamic law because of the physical and mental damage that it causes. The punitive measures in place do little to deter some parents from subjecting their young daughters to this atrocious procedure. Too often we hear about girls who die due to a botched circumcision or from excessive bleeding. Many FGM victims who survive the attack on their genitalia, then endure the physical and emotional scars that can cripple their future mental, reproductive and sexual wellbeing. The detrimental physical and psychological effects of FGM are well documented and well communicated, but the question remains: Why is FGM still practiced? The answer is the female body. FGM is a crude and abhorrent version of a chastity belt, applied with the misguided and malicious intent to keep a girl’s pureness. It guarantees the young woman will not lose her mind in moments of passion and act on her lust, and on this very basis the people who believe this are preposterous. The recent case of a grown married woman coerced by her husband to undergo a FGM procedure because he suffered from sexual dysfunction, and his unfounded suspicion of her infidelity shows his weakness; not hers. This is hardly an isolated incident. Husbands have ordered several wives to endure the humiliating and painful procedure. Iran jailed an academic partly because of his research on FGM. The female body doesn’t just scare people; it terrorizes governments too. Politicizing the female body is hardly new. Yet the underlying assumption is rarely questioned. Instead, the intention is explained away as conforming to an ancient practice. FGM rests within the perception that women are either inferior beings who are unable to control their libido or that they are gullible creatures who need guarded against the faceless seducer who will sully her honor. Both assumptions are founded upon the primordial conception that a girl’s body is an object belonging to another, whether a father or a husband. Girls, naturally, lack the ability to make their own decisions. Eradication of lust from the female body is essential because saving a girl or a woman from her innate desires is a man’s mission. Men are doing the right thing because as soon as a girl starts to show any signs of womanhood pruning her body protects the family honor. Utter nonsense. FGM isn’t merely an ugly practice that some Muslims aim to continuously repudiate in front of the Western world. FGM is a statement articulated on the feminine body, a stigma that she must carry her whole life to attest for her inaptitude as a human being, of her inferior status, of the pain she must endure simply because she was born a girl. FGM is a painful manifestation of gender inequality. As countries take steps to end the practice of FGM, through legislative measures that punish its perpetrators, they must address the foundational preconditions that allow this practice to thrive. Imagine this: A father takes a 12-year-old girl to a makeshift clinic, and assures her on their way that she will be alright, that the procedure won’t hurt as much as she thinks, and that this pain is necessary, and compensated with the congratulatory gifts that she will receive. She will be an adult. The girl continues to walk beside her father aided with the pride that she will now be a grown up, and the faith that her father will never do anything to hurt her. She enters the clinic, lies on the cold steel examining table, the nurse pulls up her dress and ties her legs so that she doesn’t kick to protect herself. Her father holds her arms to prevent her from moving. A man emerges holding a blade. He approaches the girl, spreads her legs. She screams. Let her screams be heard, and end the abomination that is, FGM. [End of quote]

Before presenting the knowledge-based research on this subject matter by Shaikh Abu Iyaad [may Allaah preserve him], we remind Heba Yosry that her above statement is a mixture of truth and falsehood, ignorance, ambiguity and emotion – devoid of detail and distinction. It would have been better for her to refrain from speaking about a subject matter whose complete truth and falsehood is not manifest to her, because indeed as the saying goes, ”Silence beautifies the scholar and conceals the ignorance of the ignorant one”. Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah be pleased with him] said: ”It is obligated on you to give detail and make a distinction, because unrestricted and general (statements) without clarification has indeed corrupted this existence (i.e. the world), misguided the intellects and views in every era”. Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] said, ”There has to be detail explanation. The one who is not proficient in giving detail should keep quiet, because benefit is not acquired from his speech. And every time error occurs, its cause is due to an absence of detail explanation regarding truth and falsehood. There has to be detail explanation and distinction and not to mix up [affairs]. Indeed, it may be that there is something of truth and falsehood in an opponent’s statement, so all of it is neither deemed to be false nor truth; rather there has to be a distinction between its truth and falsehood. All of it is neither rejected nor accepted; rather a distinction is made regarding the truth and what is correct and the falsehood and error in it. And if you are not proficient in giving detail, then you should not enter into this field”. [Ref 1]

We remind Heba Yosry to refrain from conjecture as Allaah [The Exalted] said: [إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهۡوَى ٱلۡأَنفُسُ‌ۖ – They follow but a guess and that which they themselves desire].

There is a tremendous benefit derived from this above statement, because the one deprived of sound Eemaan and the sound creed sent down as revelation by Allaah- The Lord of the Aalameen, then his affair is one of two: Corruption in Knowledge or Corruption in his Intent– corruption in knowledge occurs as a result of following conjecture and corruption in one’s intent occurs as a result of following desires, or the person may combine both of them.  Another benefit derived from this is that the rectification or well-being of a person cannot be attained except by way of two affairs: Upright (or sound) Knowledge and Upright (or sound) Intent. This is why Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy upon him) said in Miftaah Daarus Sa’aadah that a person is in need of two things: ‘(Sound) Knowledge by way of which he is (rightly) guided and lofty aspiration by way of which he is urged towards that (sound aspiration)’, because it maybe that a person has beneficial knowledge but not (sound) intent and aspiration. Therefore, one cannot be upright except by way of upright knowledge and intent. Sound knowledge is corrupted through following conjecture and sound intent is corrupted through following the desires of one’s soul.
Allaah [The Exalted] stated about the Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam]: [مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمۡ وَمَا غَوَىٰ-Your companion (Muhammad) has neither gone astray nor has erred]. That is because the Daal (misguided person) is one whose knowledge is corrupted and the Ghaawiy (astray one) is the one whose intent is corrupted. Also, the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] described his four khulafaa [Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthmaan and Ali (may Allaah be pleased with them)] with the words ‘Raashideen and Mahdiyyeen’, because the Raashid [i.e. The one who is steadfast upon the right path and is firmly established upon it] is the opposite of the Ghaawiy [The one who strays from the right path or conduct], and the Mahdee [The one guided to the path of truth and yeilds obediently to it] is the opposite of the Daalun [the misguided one, especially in knowledge and creed]. A Brief History of Vandalism

Imaam Shaykaani [rahimahullaah] stated in the biography of Yahyah Ibn Muhammad Al-Hoothee: On the night of 24th Ramadhaan- in the year 1216AH [1802CE] – a great trial took place at Sana when some of those who openly demonstrated their allegiance to Ali [radiyallaahu-anhu] with extreme ignorance – whilst concealing their raafidah beliefs – gave Yahyah Ibn Muhammad Al-Hoothee the lecturing seat of those senior scholars who are well qualified to deliver admonitions. They commanded him to transmit Sayyid Ishaaq Ibn Yoosuf Al-Mutawakkil’s book titled ‘Tafreej Al-Kuroob’ to the common people, which was based on the subject matter of Ali’s [radiyallaahu-anhu] virtues. However, Yahyah Ibn Muhammad Al-Hoothee did not stop at transmitting what was in the book; rather he abused some of the Salaf [pious predecessors] in order to fulfil the goals of those who pushed him towards that intent and to diminish the worth of some of the people who work for the state [or government].

So, on the night of 24th Ramadhaan 1216AH, the common people attended the main city mosque as usual alongside some of those well-read men, who deserve to be charged with oppression because they are more ignorant than the common people [i.e. because they refrained from stopping evil]. When Yahyah failed to turn up at the designated time of the lecture – and that was to take place before the Ishaa prayer – some of the people in the mosque became agitated, began raising their voices with a tirade of cursing and prevented others from praying Ishaa. They were then joined by those who harboured treacherous intentions against the state – those who concealed the beliefs of the raafidah – and the common people.

Then they left the main city mosque and started shouting in the street- cursing the dead and the living [i.e. the people they hated] – and the crowd increased in their thousands. They proceeded to the house of the scholar Ahmad Haatim and threw stones at it. Then they proceeded to the house of Sayyid Isma’eel Ibn Hasan Shaamee and threw stones at it, and they went into extremes until they vandalised as much as they were able to.

Then they proceeded to Imaam Sharaf Ad-Deen’s school, whilst intending to kill him [Sharaf Ad-Deen]; but Allaah saved him and he escaped to where they could not perceive. They also intended to kill the scholar Ahmad Haatim, but he escaped from the main mosque and came to my house whilst we were transmitting from my explanation of Al-Muntaqaa in the presence of the some of the scholars.

Thereafter, those common people were still determined [to cause more trouble], so a group of them proceeded towards the house of Sayyid Ali Ibn Ibraaheem and threw stones at it. They evicted the women and children and violated their honour. And the only reason they stoned the house of Ali Ibn Ibraaheem was because during those days he used to deliver admonitions in the main city mosque and he was neither a raafidi nor one who cursed.

Then they were all determined once again, whilst shouting and proceeding towards the houses of the minister Al-Hasan Ibn Uthmaan Al-Ulfee and Al-Hasan Ibn Ali Hinsh. The two buildings were adjacent to each other, so they stoned both of them. And the only reason they stoned the house of Al-Hasan Ibn Uthmaan Al-Ulfee was because his lineage was traced back to Bani Umayyah [i.e. the clan of Abu Sufyaan, Uthmaan and Mu-aawiyyah (may Allaah be pleased with them)]. And they stoned the house of Hasan Ibn Ali Hinsh because he used to manifest the Sunnah and freed himself from the beliefs of the raafidah…..up until Imaam Shaykaani said: ‘’Indeed, they did that which neither a believer nor a disbeliever would do.’’
