Summarized benefits: Shaikh Ubaid says: Saalim At-Taweel is a Miskeen; Misguided and lost one!

Listen to audio here:

Shaikh Ubaid (may Allaah preserve him) comments on Saalim At-Taweel’s statement that At-Tahazzub (illegal partisanship) is present in the Nufoos of all the people and even Asabiyyah (zealous partisanship) was present within the Sahaabah….

Response:

Shaikh Ubaid stated:

*He has known the utterer of this statement for nearly 21 years and he is from Kuwait. …

*He used to be with the (salafiyyoon) and then he complied with what deviated him…

*If he wished he would have mentioned his name…

The statement  that At-tahazzub (illegal partisanship) is present in all the people is incorrect because Ahlus Sunnah are the Hizbullaah (The party of Allaah)-they do not come together except based on the Book of Allaah, the Sunnah of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) and the understanding of the Salaf; rather At-Tahazzub (illegal partisanship) is found with the innovators. For instance you find that sometimes a man is one who intermingles—sometimes he goes with Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen; sometimes with the Tableeghees and sometimes with other deviated groups regardless of the differing in the religion (i.e. blameworthy differing in Aqeedah and Manhaj)….

The sahaabah are not Ahzaab [i.e. divergent parties or groups]; rather they are Al-Muhaajiroon (i.e. the believers who migrated from Makkah and joined the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) in Madeenah] and Al-Ansaar (i.e. those believers in Madeenah who welcomed the Immigrants]…..

This statement which was uttered by this man-a Miskeen; misguided and lost one- is evidence against the people of illegal partisanship and the illegal partisans are Mubtadia. They do not come together except based on what they desire…..

Excuse us for this summary due to lack of time. Perhaps brothers can work on the full translation and share it. Jazaakumullaahu khayran. May Allaah (The Most High) guide Saalim At-Taweel and his companions (Ruhayli, Halabi etc) or protect us from their falsehood. Aameen.

Al-Hasan Al-Basri [Good in this life and the next]

Al-Hasan Al-Basri (rahimahullaah) stated about the saying of Allaah  [وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةً۬ وَفِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً۬ –  And of them there are some who say: “Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good (2:201]

Good in the worldly life is Knowledge and worship.

Good in the afterlife is Paradise.

This statement of Maalik Ibn Deenaar should be a reminder for those who speak with falsehood against the Scholars

 Maalik Ibn Deenaar (rahimahullaah) said:

”It is enough evil for a man that he is not righteous, yet he speaks ill of the righteous people.”

[Shu’aab Al-Imaan (5/316)]

How can Shaikh say that such and such is deviated, whilst he opposes the Soofees etc- A statement of some of the Hizbiyyoon aimed at sheltering their deviant figureheads of Tamyee and Bidah

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah) said: ‘It is not permitted for a man to say, ‘So and so is a person of the sunnah’ until he knows that he combines the characteristics of the Sunnah, so it is not said of him, ‘a person of the Sunnah’ until he combines all the Sunnah.'[1]

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (hafidha-hullaah) commented on the above statement of Imaam Barbahaaree saying:

Do not give recommended to a person and a praise of him, except based on knowledge, lest the people become deceived by your praise of him, whilst he is not what (you have stated about him).  So when his real affair and path is clear to you, his knowledge and steadfastness; then you can give him recommendation. As for giving out praise and recommendation whilst not knowing of anything about him, then this is a dangerous recommendation through which the people will be deceived by this person.

Had only those who give commendations to the people stopped at that (i.e. put it in its proper place), then they would not give recommendation, except for one who fulfils the conditions of (receiving) recommendation because recommendation is a ‘Witness’; so, if the recommendation is not correct it will be a false witness.

And concerning the statement of Imaam Barbahaaree: ‘until he knows that he combines the characteristics of the Sunnah’ Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan commented on the above statement saying: The characteristics of the Sunnah are to be in Aqeedah, Knowledge and adherence to the Salafus Saaleh.  But if there is not in him except a single characteristic of the (sunnah), then he is not judged to be from Ahlus Sunnah on the basis of a single characteristic or one thing, so what about the one who does not have anything from that? [End of quote: It-haaful Qaaree Bitta’liqaat Alaa Sharhis Sunnah Lil Imaam Barbahaaree, Vol: 2, page:275-276]

So be mindful of those who utilise these foolish statements in order to hide the other deviations and innovations of their figureheads. Likewise, be distant from the obstinate blind followers—those who carry the slogan of Ikhtilaaf, whilst intending falsehood by way of it and to reject the clear unambiguous knowledge based refutations of the scholars against the figureheads of hizbiyyah, bidah and Tamyee.

The Correct stance towards the differing of the scholars concerning

Muhammad Ibn Ubaid At-Tannaafusiy: He used to say to Ahlul hadeeth…

Muhammad Ibn Ubaid At-Tannaafusiy (rahimahullaah) used to say to the people of hadeeth: “Why do not be like Eesa Ibn Yunus (rahimahullaah)? When he (Eesa) used to meet Al’Amash (rahimahullaah), whilst the youth and the Shuyookh were with him, they used to look at his (upright) conduct and manners.
