Answer:
Yes he (or she) will be rewarded due to general statement of the Messenger (sallal laahu alayhi wa sallam): Whoever reads the Qur’aan, he will have ten rewards for every letter.’’ Then he (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: And I am not saying that “Alif, Laam, Meem” is a letter, rather ‘Alif’ is a letter, ‘Laam’ is a letter and ‘Meem’ is a letter. A man said to Al-Hasan [Al-Basri (rahimahullaah)]: I have a daughter and she has been sought for marriage; so to whom should I give her in marriage? He (Al-Hasan) said: Marry her to the one who fears Allaah, for he will be kind to her if he loves her. And he will not oppress her when he is angry with her. [1]
Brothers and sisters, may Allaah protect us all and our children from ahlul bidah and the obstinate hizbiyyoon. Does a hizbi fear Allaah (The Most High) by distancing himself from all Mubtadi’ah? Indeed, the hizbies defend innovators and this is what we witness from the obstinate followers of Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi and Al-Maghraawi at Masjid As-Sunnah (Cheethamhill) and elsewhere. They defend those who innovate in the religion of Allaah, even though they know that the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: The worst of all affairs are the newly invented matters (in the religion) and every newly invented matter (in the religion) is a bidah and every bidah is misguidance.’’

Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) said: If he (i.e. the man) is persistent upon sin, he is not to be married to, because some the pious predecessors said: ‘’He who marries his precious one (i.e. daughter) to an evil doer, then indeed he has severed her womb’’[2]

Will my supplication for my uncle benefit him after he has passed away, even though i am not his son?
The questioner asks: The prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam): ‘’When a person dies, all his deeds cease three: Sadaqah Jaariyah (ongoing charity), beneficial knowledge (he left behind), or a righteous child who supplicates for him.’’ So will my supplication for my uncle (rahimahullaah) benefit him after his death because I love him dearly but I am not one of his children according to the hadeeth?
Answer: Yes you have a great reward for doing so and your supplication will benefit him (In-shaa-Allaah) when you ask Allaah to show him mercy. The hadeeth does not mean that supplication only has to be done by the (person’s) children, rather what is intended is that children are from the deeds of a person because Allaah(The Most High) brought them into this world through the person (i.e. mother and father). Besides this, Allaah will benefit any Muslim whose Muslim brother supplicates for him. Indeed Allaah praised His slaves, saying:
وَالَّذِينَ جَاءُوا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ
And those who came after them say: “Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in Faith, and put not in our hearts any hatred against those who have believed. Our Lord! You are indeed full of kindness, Most Merciful. [59:10]
The verses of the Qur’aan and ahaadeeth indicating to this meaning are many.

Fadaa’il al Amaal ‘ page 18’ by Shaikh Muhammad Bin Abdillaah As-Subayyil (rahimahullaah)
They crucified him for being upon the Sunnah
The imam, the exemplar, the martyr inshaa Allah, Abu Bakr Muhammad Ibn Ahmad Ibn Sahl Ar-Ramli, known as Ibn An-Nabulsi [d.363 AH]1
- Ibn Al-Jawzi mentioned concerning Jawhar As-Siqilli the Fatimid general that he said to Abu Bakr An-Nabulsi: “It has reached us that you have said that if a man has ten arrows, he must shoot one arrow at the Romans, and nine at us [The Fatimid Shiites]. He [Abu Bakr] said: “I haven’t said that. Rather, I said that if he has ten arrows, he must shoot nine at you, and the tenth he must shoot at you also! For indeed you have changed the religion, killed the righteous and claimed divine light”. So he [the general] had him brought into public, then beaten and then he ordered a Jew who peeled off his skin.”
- Abu Tharr Al-Hafith said: “Banu ‘Ubaid imprisoned him and they crucified him [for being] upon the Sunnah. I heard Ad-Daraqutni mention him while crying, saying: While being skinned he was reciting:
{كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَسْطُورًا}
{That has been written in The Book [of decrees]} – [Al-Israa:58]”
- Ma’mar Ibn Ahmad said: “A trustworthy individual informed me that Abu Bakr was skinned from the crown of his head to his face. He was making remembrance of Allah and was patient until he [the skinner] reached his chest. The skinner then had pity on him and so stabbed him with a knife into his heart putting an end to his life.”
- He also said: “…And when he had been skinned, recitation of The Qur’an could be heard from his body”
- “Ibn As-Sa’saa’ Al-Misri related that he saw Abu Bakr Ibn An-Nabulsi in a dream after he had been crucified while he was in the best appearance. So he said: “What did Allah do with you?” He replied:
“My Lord gifted me with eternal honour ~ And He promised me imminent victory
And He brought me close and near to Him ~ And He said: Live delightfully in a life next to Me”

1 Shaikh Abdullah Al-Bukhari spoke concerning this Imam’s crucifixion in his lecture “Steadfastness upon the Sunnah” on 7th Shawwal 1436. The Shaikh and those present in the gathering cried when hearing the patience that this Imam had in remaining steadfast upon the Sunnah.

Shaikh Rabee (may Allaah preserve him) gave a general advise to the Salafiyyoon. What benefit is there in Shaikh Rabee’s recent advice for deluded Abu Bilal?! Shaikh Rabee (may Allaah preserve him) did not tell the Salafiyyoon to co-operate with the followers of Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi and Al-Maghraawi at Masjid As-Sunnah- those who utilise Abu Bilal Hanif as their Shubuhaat WhatsApp Stalker. Indeed, it is an utter disgrace that this Abu Bilal, who is in his late 40s, allows others to play football with his intellect. Who told him that this advice of the Shaikh has anything to do with him and his friends at Masjid As-Sunnah?! Is Abu Bilal Hanif so deluded that he now utilises Shaikh Rabee’s advice to promote his deviations and deliberately turn away from the specific verdicts of the Shaikh against the Mubtadi’ah (Al-Halabi, Al-Maghraawi and Al-Maribi)?!
So who is deceiving himself and deliberately seeking to depict Salafiyyah as hizbiyyah, and hizbiyyah as Salafiyyah- the followers of the Mubtadi’ah or those who accept the verdicts of the scholars against the Mubtadi’ah!
Who is making a mockery of himself- those who follow the verdicts of the scholars against the Mubtadi’ah, or Abu Bilal Hanif,?! He insults his intellect by thinking that Shaikh Rabee’s advise will benefit him whilst he is a pathetic promoter of Mubtadi’ah and their staunch followers?!
Who is a hizbi- those who reject the Mubtadi’ah and their staunch followers or those who are willing Hizbi WhatsApp Stalkers on behalf of Masjid as-Sunnah and other hizbiyyoon?!
Indeed, it is extremely sad that Abu Bilal Hanif, a man in his late 40s cannot still realize that he is a calamity upon himself. He deludes himself and denies reality, so he misleads himself, misrepresents and disowns what he knows to be true. He lies to himself and refuses to acknowledge reality. It is as if he wants to protect his mind against anxiety by diminishing awareness. This will undoubtedly produce a blind spot- a place of blocked attention and self-deception.
The likes of Abu Bilal find it hard to embrace the specific detailed evidences produced by the Salafi scholars against the Mubtadi’ah, so he desperately seeks to repress or re-interpret it. He has developed the habit to switch off, turn a blind eye or deceive himself to such an extent that it has severely limited his understanding. This is why you find him running around on behalf of the hizbiyyoon like a headless chicken-actively seeking to spread the shubuhaat of the followers of the Mubtadi’ah but ends up with nothing!
So who is the hizbi, the one running around like a headless chicken on behalf of the obstinate hizbiyyoon or those who abandon the Mubtadi’ah and their staunch followers? Abu Bilal finds it hard to refrain from portraying himself as one drowned in pathetic fallacy and a stooge of the hizbiyyoon. May Allaah guide him. Aameen

The questioner asks: What is Sakeenah (tranquillity) and how does it descend upon the believers?
Answer:
Sakeenah (tranquillity) is the calmness, relaxation and happiness a person feels inside his heart, and from the means of (experiencing) this Sakeenah and happiness in the heart is when one is constant in the remembrance of Allaah. Allaah (Glorified be He and free is He from all imperfections) said:
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
Those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah, Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest. [13:28]
Ibnul Jawzi (rahimahullaah) said that two statements have been mentioned regarding the word Dhikr; one of them is that Dhikr means the Qur’aan and the second statement is that it means the remembrance of Allaah in general.
And with regards to the meaning of Tu’maneenah (repose or rest) there are two statements: The first one is that it is love of Allah and being completely at ease in His presence. The second meaning is that it is complete submission to Him without harbouring any doubts as opposed to those whose hearts are filled with disgust when Allaah is mentioned.
In summary: Constant remembrance of Allaah (through recitation of) the Qur’aan; remembering Him by uttering Subhaanallaah, Alhamdulil laah, Allaahu Akbar and thanking Him, sending the salaah and salaam upon His Prophet [Muhammad (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam)], constantly repenting to Allaah and seeking His Forgiveness- all these deeds bring about Sakeenah (tranquility) in the heart of the believer. And Allaah knows best.
