Al Allaamah Ash Shaykh Saalih Al Fawzaan – May Allah preserve him – said:
“The Devil is always and continuously with innovation; he calls to it, and desires it, due to his knowledge that it (innovations) lead to Shirk (associating partners in worship with Allah).”

The Imaam Rabee bin Haadi Al Madkhalee – May Allah preserve him – said:
“I advise you to follow the path of the pious predecessors in learning, manners and dawah; neither being over stringent nor going beyond bounds(i.e. going beyond Allah’s legislated boundaries in the Qur’aan and the authentic Sunnah)”

The Imaam Rabee bin Haadi Al Madkhalee – May Allah preserve him – reported that many of the Salaf said:
“Verily the people of innovation are more harmful to islaam than the external enemies, why? Because they destroy from the inside, and afterwards they open the door to the enemies and say “Enter!”
