Sulaymaan Ad-Daaraanee [rahimahullaah] said:

If a sensible person did not weep due to what remains of his life span, except due to the sweetness that has escaped him from the acts of obedience to Allaah, then it would be befitting that he weeps due to what has elapsed until death comes to him.
