بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
After the followers of al-Maʿribī became obstinate, the Shaikh, may Allah have mercy upon him, advised those at Masjid As-Sunnah (Cheetham hill) via Telelink. We (at Salaficentre – Cheetham hill) attended as witnesses. At the time, they considered his verdict to be harsh, but this was nothing more than an excuse to persist in their ways.
To this day, the committee of Masjid as-Sunnah (Cheetham Hill) remains upon that same path. Wallāhul-Mustaʿān.
