In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Question: I am a young man at the beginning of my adherence to the right path, and I would like you to clarify the correct methodology for me.

Answer: Hold fast to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger, and the consensus of the pious predecessors. Seek knowledge and you will know the correct methodology. [See footnote a] [1]

The Shaikh, may Allah preserve him, also stated: The means to Dawah are the Quran and the Sunnah – Allah said, Allah’s Messenger (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said. This is the call of the prophets, which is based on clarity, evidence, and proof. It is not established on [رقص – evil, random, uncertain, unreliable, sporadic speech etc], frivolity, and lying.
