Reflections from some statements of Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali – [109]

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi Al-Madkhali, may Allah have mercy upon him, was asked about the hadith:

“Whoever prays for forty days in congregation and catches the first Takbeer, two things will be written for him- safety from the fire and hypocrisy”. [1]

The Shaikh, may Allah have mercy upon him, responded:

We ask Allah to enable all of us accomplish this. This is a difficult matter that requires striving against the Nafs and an intense desire to accomplish this deed. We will not accomplish this except if we are early for every prayer, and the A’dhan is not called except that we are in the vicinity of the masjid or in it.  This (person) will accomplish it by the Will of Allah. Therefore, be eager for this good deed. [2]
