Who is The Doctor of The Hearts?!
In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.
Question to Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [hafidhahullaah]: Some of the people say that Ibnul Qayyim [rahimahullaah] is the doctor of the hearts due to the abundance of what has been spoken of in his books in this field? Answer: The doctor of the hearts is the Messenger [sallal-lahu-alayhi-wasallam]. Ibnul Qayyim is one who clarified and explained the medicine of the Messenger [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam]; he is not the doctor of the hearts [rather] the Messenger [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] is the doctor of the hearts.
