[5] Usaamah Al-Utaybi’s – [The Pottymouth Vile Hater Whose Affair Has Reached The Point of Madness] – Pathetic Attempt to Degrade Shaikh Abdul Waahid!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, he Bestower of Mercy.

Usaamah Al-Utaybi – the pottymouth vile hater whose affair has reached the point of Madness- stated, “Amongst them (i.e. Al-Maktabatus Salafiyyah) were those attributed to seeking knowledge, such as Abu Hakeem, who was my student and he had some knowledge. We used to see (or hold) good about him”. Then pottymouth Usaamah desperately attempted to degrade Shaikh Abu Khadeejah and called him an Aammi (a commoner) and thereafter stated that Abu Khadeejah distorts the meaning of the Qur’an in his quotes; then drama prince – Usaamah – sought refuge with Alaah due to this.

Response: Firstly, all praise is due to Allaah that Shaikh Abu Hakeem [may Allaah preserve him] sat with scholars and greatly benefiited from their knowledge and manners, therefore, whatever he heard from Usaamah – at the time – is nothing compared to the benefit he acquired from Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi, Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiree, Al-Allaamah Hammaad Al-Ansaaree and others. This statement of pottymouth Usaamah should not be blown out of proportion, because neither can he give Shaikh Abu Hakeem nor any of us more than what the senior scholars can give us. In addition to this, beloved Shaikh Abu Hakeem is well-known for his gentle character, forbearance and noble manners, and there is no doubt that he has greatly benefitted from the noble manners of the upright senior scholars in our era- those foremost in adherence to the path of the pious predecessors of this Ummah. Ibraaheem Ibn Bash-shaar [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Ibraaheem Ibn Adham [may Allaah have mercy upon him] atched a man who was speaking to another man; so he [i.e. the man] got so angry that he uttered an ugly statement. So Ibraaheem said to him, ‘O such and such! Fear Allaah and it is obligatory that you keep quiet, exercise forbearance and restraint”, so the man kept quiet. Then Ibraaheem said to him, ‘It has reached me that Ahnaf Ibn Qais [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, ‘We frequently went to Qais Ibn Aasim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] to learn forbearance from him, just as we frequently went to the scholars to seek knowledge’. So he [i.e. the man] said, ‘You don’t have to repeat it [i.e. what you have said is enough as an admonition etc]'”. [Taareekh Dimashq 26/219]

As for Al-Utaybi, he has proven once again that he is one afflicted with an evil desire for evil excessive speech and transgression as we have already mentioned in pervious posts – possessor of a vile tongue that falsely accuses Al-Maktabatus Salafiyyah of Bidah, Haddaadiyyah etc. Therefore, with regards to his claim, “We used to see (hold) good about him (Abu Hakeem)”, then indeed neither is our beloved Shaikh – Abu Hakeem- in need of his testimony, even if that is in our Shaikh’s favour, nor is our Shaikh affected by his vile tongue by the Will of Allaah. Malik Bin Deenaar [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Since I have known people, neither have I rejoiced due to their praise nor have I hated their censure, because indeed their praises are excessive and their censures are excessive”. Secondly, as for pottymouth Usaamah’s pathetic attempt to degrade Shaikh Abdul Waahid (Abu Khadeejah) by calling him an Aamiy (commoner), then indeed not an atom’s weight of harm – by the Will of Allaah – touches our beloved Shaikh due to the envy of this spiteful moron. In addition to this, Shaikh Abdul Waahid and his brothers at Salafipublaications have received that which suffices based on the reality of what is known about them. [On Friday, the 25th of June 2010 (14 Rajab 1431H), the following question was posed to the Al-Allaamah Rabee Ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee: “O Shaykh, as you are aware, there are no scholars in Britain, but is there anyone residing there that you advise us with, who can connect us to the people of knowledge?” The Shaykh, may Allaah preserve him, mentioned: Our brother Hasan as-Somali (who was present in the gathering), Abu Khadeejah and his companion (Abu Hakeem). The Shaykh also stressed the importance of them keeping ties with the scholars. May Allaah reward the Shaykh and protect our brothers who are striving to spread the call of the Sunnah in the West. The Tazkiyah of Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiree [may Allaah protect him]:

Likewise, we have the well-known Tazkiya given by beloved Al-Allaamah Hasan Bin Muhammad Bin Abdil Wahhab Marzooq Al-Bannah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] who visited the Maktabah in person and then stated before his departure from the West: “All praise be to Allaah, Maashaa’Allaah, they have organisation (in da’wah), they have a maktabah salafiyyah, they have a school, a kindergarten or primary school, all these things are tremendous and all praise be to Allaah they have big numbers with them. They also have with them many mashaayikh from amongst them Shaykh Abu Khadeejah, they have knowledge, with them is knowledge, and other than him like Shaykh Abu Hakeem Bilal. All of these maashaa’Allaah and many other people beside them – they are many people I met so I cannot recall their names – but those that are with them I find that they are upon khayr (goodness). Since they have many students of knowledge with them from their likes, so it is laazim (incumbent) that they traverse upon their way, because they have indibaat (firm discipline, groundedness), and all praise is due to Allaah, and they have cooperation and love for the sake of Allaah. They are from the best we have seen here from the different centres and (…) them upon steadfastness(..)”. [a well-known widely spread speech of the Shaikh witnessed in person]

These Tazkiyyaat are based on reality to this day, because our elder teachers – may Allaah protect us and them upon the blessed Manhajus Salafi – have not moved away from the sound Aqeedah and Manhaj by the Tawfeeq of Allaah. Therefore, irrelevant indeed is the statement of a vile moron who seeks to degrade those whose virtue is witnessed and ascertained by the upright senior Salafi scholars. Nothing remains to be said about vile Usaamah’s pathetic attempt to degrade beloved Shaikh Abdul Waahid, except the statement of Imaam Fudayl Ibn Iyaad [may Allaah have mercy upon him], who said, “There’s none who loves leadership, except that he will envy, transgress, seek after people’s fault (i.e. falsely) and hates that anyone else is mentioned with good”. As for vile Usaamah’s pathetic attempt to degrade Shaikh Abu Khadeejah due to pronunciations in the Arabic language, then indeed that is not a reason to reject or accept truth possessed by a person. We have a clear example in the Qur’aan regarding Fir’awn and noble Prophet Musa [peace be upon him]! [أَمۡ أَنَا۟ خَيۡرٌ۬ مِّنۡ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى هُوَ مَهِينٌ۬ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُبِينُ – Am I (Fir’awn) not better than this one (Musa), who is Mahin (has no honour nor any respect, and is weak and despicable) and can scarcely express himself clearly?][Surah Az-Zukhruf’ Ayah 52]

Imaam As-Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “May Allaah [The Most High] disfigure Fir’awn, because indeed he intended Musa by this description, even though Musa is one whom Allaah [The Most High] spoke to directly and one given high status by Allaah [The Most High]; however Fir’awn thought that he is honoured and Musa is dishonoured and disgraced. He also proclaimed that in addition to this, Musa cannot even speak clearly because he is not eloquent! However, Firawn’s insult that Musa cannot even express himself is not something blameworthy at all, because he was able to convey the message, even though he used to encounter some difficulty when speaking”. Ponder upon Imaam As-Sadi’s statement: “However, Firawn’s insult that Musa cannot even express himself is not something blameworthy at all, because he was able to convey the message, even though he used to encounter some difficulty when speaking”.

Bear in mind that the above quote is neither intended as a comparison between Prophet Musa [peace be upon him] and Shaikh Abu Khadeejah nor as a comparison between Usaamah and Fir’awn, lest the shameless liars and slanderers accuse us of something mighty; rather our intent here is to highlight the fact that truth is to be given paramount importance and not eloquence in any given language. In addition to this, we have prayed behind our beloved Shaikh Abdul Waahid at his house, and at Salaficentre – during a Salaatul Khusoof, but nothing can be said about his recitation of that which is one of the pillars of the prayer (i.e. Surah Al-Faahihah), and that which he recited of the other chapters. Many of us non-Arabs- including the authors of this article- will surely make mistakes at times in our pronunciations. We also remind vile Usaamah of another statement of Imaam As-Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] when he stated: “A Jaahil (ignorant one) is that one who speaks with a speech that contains no benefit and mocks at the people. As for a sensible person, he sees that one of the most blameworthy traits – abhorred by (sound) religion and intellect- is to mock at someone who is a human being like himself. And if he has been favoured over another person, then this favour necessitates that he thanks Allaah and shows mercy to Allaah’s servants”. [Tafseer Surah Al-Baqarah Aayah 68]

Therefore, if vile Usaamah’s recitation and pronunciation excels that of others, then indeed neither should that be a reason to mock at others nor is it something that automatically gives him virtue over others in the sight of Allaah, whilst he is one afflicted with evil manners and a vile tongue that hurls false accusations of bidah and haddaadiyyah- without an atom’s weight of evidence – against those who are well known for their Salafiyyah to this day. We remind vile Usaamah – once again – of Imaam Al-Khateeb Al-Baghdaadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] when he stated, “It is incumbent that the seekers of Hadeeth should be the (possessors of the) most perfect (behaviour, traits, manners, etiquettes etc) amongst the people, the most humble amongst the people, the greatest in their impartiality and adherence to the religion, the least in (deviating from good conduct) and (being overcome by) angry; and that is due to constantly lending an ear to the narrations that combine the excellent manners and etiquettes of Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], the lives of the virtuous pious predecessors, the path of the scholars of Hadeeth and the virtues of the (pious ones and scholars) who have passed away; so they adhere to the most refined and excellent (aspects of those traits, etiquettes, manners etc) and turn away from the most despised and lowly (traits, behaviour, manners, etiquettes etc)”. Finally, it is incumbent upon us to strive – alongside studying this Aqeedah and Manhaj – to behave well and ask Allaah to bless us with good manners. Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood [may Allah be pleased with him] reported that the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said: [اللهم كما حَسَّنْت خَلْقِي فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِي – O Allah! Just as You made my external form beautiful, make my character beautiful as well].

Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [maay Allaah preserve him] said, “Two images: the visible image and that is the body, and the unseen image and that is the manners. The first image is called Al-Khalq and the second is called Al-Khuluq with the vowel Dammah on the letter khaa and laam. The human being is made up of these two images. There are amongst the people those whose visible image and manners are beautiful, such as Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] and those amongst the Muslims whom Allaah has blessed with it. There are amongst those whose visible image is evil and his manners are evil, and this one is the most repugnant of people. There are amongst the people one whose visible image is unsightly and the people do not consider him to be anything (i.e. give him no importance), but his unseen image is good. This person is also good and his unsightly appearance does not harm him if what is conceal in him is good. There are amongst the people those who are the opposite and that is one whose visible image is good looking and his unseen image is ugly. This person resembles a hypocrite, and Allaah refuge is sought. This person is repugnant. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] supplicated for the two things: the beautiful visible image and beautiful unseen image, so he said, “O Allah! Just as You made my external form beautiful, make my character beautiful as well”. He was the most perfect person in his visible image and manners. Therefore, in this regard one has to follow the example of the Messenger and that a Muslim supplicates to Allaah with this supplication. He does consider himself perfect and says, ‘I don’t have shortcomings’, but rather he turns to Allaah by asking for the beautification of his visible image and unseen image. And Allaahu knows best”. [4] Usaamah Al Utaybi – [ The Pottymouth Vile Hater and Thoughtless Moron, Whose Affair Has Reached The Point of Madness]

Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The over-stringent ones are destroyed”.  Imaam Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “The over-stringent ones are those who look too deeply (into affairs) and are excessive- those who exceed the Hudood (prescribed legislated Sharee’ah boundaries) in their statements and actions”. [Sharh Saheeh Muslim. Vol 16. page 180 ]

Usaamah Al-Utaybi – the pottymouth vile hater about whom Al-Allaamah Ubaid Al-Jaabiree stated that his affair has reached the point of madness – stated that when the overseers of Al-Maktabatus Salafiyyah were under the supervision of the Salafi Mashaayikh, they were upon good despite having errors, and one of those errors was that they entered into the Fitna of Faaleh Al-Harbi; but they recanted at the time after advised by Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi. However, they have returned to their previous misguidance and have not ceased to be upon Haddaadiyyah, with lies, slander and revilement against the Salafi scholars.

Observations and Comments On The Above

Point Number 1: When Al-Maktabatus Salafiyyah was under the supervision of the Salafi Mashaayikh!

Observation: Deceitful pottymouth – Usaamah – desperately seeks to give the impression that Al-Maktabatus Salafiyyah are no longer upon what they were upon. Indeed, all Masaajid and Maraakiz of Salafiyyah in the UK know fully well that Al-Maktabatus Salafi are still upon the sound Salafi Methodology and with the Salafi Mashaayikh – teaching the books of Tawheed and Sunnah, defending the scholars of Salafiyyah, calling to the truth, confronting Tamyee, Haddaadiyyah, Khaarijiyyah, Soofiyyah and other paths of misguidance; rather the only reason behind attacks of the vile musaafiqah – including shameless Usaamah’s attacks – is because the Maktabah defends Salafi Mashaayikh and Salafi students, and repels the transgressions of Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi. Point Number 2: Al-Maktabatus Salafiyyah was upon good despite having errors and one of these errors was that they entered into the Fitna of Faaleh Al-Harbi, but they recanted at the time after being advised by Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi.

Observation:

Firstly, all praise is due to Allaah that when the affair of Faaleh Al-Harbi – the Haddaadi – became manifest and he was refuted by the likes of Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi, the Maktabah as well as other Salafiyyoon abandoned him after he persisted upon error, especially when he innovated principles in the science of Al-Jarh Wat-Tadeel (the Science of Criticism and Commendation) and made Tabdee (declaring people innovators in the religion) without proof. This was not done for the sake of Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi nor was he the only one who stood against Faaleh, rather Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi was the one who led the battle against Faaleh. Likewise, this eagerness to defend the Manhaj – by the Tawfeeq of Allaah – is what the Maktabah is upon to this day; defending Salafiyyah and reprimanding those who oppose it based on manifest clarifications, and all praise is due to Allaah.

Secondly, at present Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi has been found guilty of making Tabdee without proof and thus reprimanded by Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi, so Al-Maktabatus Salafiyyah stood firm together with others to aid the truth by the Tawfeeq of Allaah. However, this silly fool (pottymouth Usaamah) attacks the Maktabah for abandoning Dr Muhammad and then call them Haddaadees, even though he is the one who has manifested behaviour and uttered statements similar to that of the Haddaadiyyah when he stated about those who warn against the gathering of Shaikh Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhayli – a defender of Muhammad Bin Haadi – that they are “ahlul bidah. He cannot produce an atom’s weight of evidence to establish his claim, rather he uttered this statement due to oppression and transgression. Indeed, his affair is nothing else besides what Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiree – who knows him better than us – precisely stated about him that “As for preventing his harm, by Allaah, neither I nor you can do this. If I had anything to do with it, I would have stopped it”. The Shaikh also said, “His affair has reached the point of madness, recklessness and lightmindedness”.

As for the Maktabah, Allaah granted them -once again- justice, knowledge, wisdom and upright behaviour in this affair. Point Number 3: They have returned to their previous misguidance and have not ceased to be upon Haddaadiyyah, with lies, slander and revilement that is tantamount to that of the Haddaadiyyah against the Salafi scholars.

Observation: The only reason that led Usaamah to utter this outright falsehood that is tantamount to Fujoor Fil Khusoomah [an act of inequity in argumentation] is only because Al-Maktabatus Salafiyyah did the right thing by warning against both Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi’s oppressive judgements and those who beautify his affair.  Therefore, the Maktabah is absolutely innocent of this false accusation uttered by potty mouth Usaamah. May Allaah protect us from his vile tongue Aameen.

There is no doubt that the one who closely examines Usaamah’s behaviour will discover the fact that he a spiteful idiot who thinks that his quackery, oppression, excess and transgression is wisdom and justice. This is what has clearly manifested when this insolent liar uses the term ahlul bidah against the Maktabah because they warn against those who beautify the affair of Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi after he has persisted upon false Tabdee. Indeed, Usaamah’s pathetic and irresponsible behaviour manifests his short sightedness, irrationality, slanderous behaviour and outright lies, because every sensible person can clearly see that he deliberately oppresses and slanders those who forbid excess, oppression and transgression, and commend those who commit excess, oppression and transgression; seeks to conceal truth and pedal lies. Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated, “When a proof that supports the truth is manifested and the one who wants to repel it finds no way of doing so, he refrains from mentioning it and thus becomes a silent devil, and sometimes he distorts it. Distortion is of two types: Distortion in wording and distortion in meanings. Distortion in wording is when one utters a word in a context in which it does not establish the truth – either adding to the word or omitting something from it, or substituting it with something else- to the extent that the listener is made to believe something, whilst something else is intended by it, just as the Yahood (i.e. those Yahood who disbelieved in the Prophet and hated him) used to distort words when giving Salaam to the Prophet [i.e. saying As-Saamu Alayka (death be upon you), instead of saying Assalaamu alaykum). This is one type of distortion. The second type of distortion is related to meanings – distorting the wording, giving it an interpretation that is not intended by the one who uttered it and pretending not to know what is not its intended meaning, or dropping other meanings intended by it etc. Allaah [The Most High] said: [وَإِن تَلۡوُ ۥۤاْ أَوۡ تُعۡرِضُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرً۬ا – and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do]”. The Imaam also stated, “The fact that a statement regarding something is lies and falsehood is sometimes known based on the statement in and of itself, its contradictions, perplexity and the manifestation of those clear indications which shows that it is lies. Lies might be manifested based on what it is in reality, manifested based on what is apparent and what is being concealed. It is sometimes known based on the situation of the utterer of the lie, for indeed the one who is known for lying, wickedness and deception, his statements do not show anything else except a state of conformity with his deeds. He does not utter a statement or perform an action similar to that of a pious and truthful person – the one innocent of every evil, deception, lie and wicked behaviour; rather the heart, intention, statements and deeds of the truthful one have the same image; and the heart, statements, deeds and intentions of the liar have the same image”. (2)

The Imaam also stated that one should beware of kadhib [lying], for indeed it corrupts one’s ability to illustrate information based on what it should be in reality. It corrupts one’s ability to illustrate information and his ability to teach the people. The liar portrays what is non-existent as something present and what is present as something non-existent. He portrays truth as something false and falsehood as something true; he portrays good as evil and evil as good, so this corrupts his conception and knowledge, which then becomes a punishment upon him. Then he portrays what is not true to the one deceived by him – the one who is inclined towards him- so he corrupts his conception and knowledge. The soul of the liar turns away from the existing reality -inclined towards what is non-existent and gives preference to falsehood. And when his conception and knowledge is corrupted, which is the basis of every wilful chosen deed, his deeds become corrupt and marked by lies, so those deeds would emanate from him just as lies emanate from the tongue- he neither benefits from his tongue nor his deeds. This is why lying is the basis [or foundation] of immorality, just as the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Indeed lies lead to immorality [or wickedness] and indeed immorality [or wickedness] leads to the fire. [Bukhaari 2606/2607]

Firstly lies emerges from the heart and then on the tongue, so it corrupts it; then it transfers to the limbs and corrupts its actions, just as it corrupts the statements of the tongue. Therefore, lying prevails over his statements, deeds and state of affairs; corruption becomes deeply rooted in him and its disease leads to destruction if Allaah does not grant him cure him with the medication of truthfulness, which uproots its (i.e. lying) from its original source. This is why the basis [or foundation] of all the deeds of the hearts is based on truthfulness; and the basis of their opposites – such as showing off, self-amazement, pride, being glad [with ungratefulness to Allaah’s Favours], conceitedness, boastfulness, insolence, weakness, laziness, cowardice, disgrace and other than them- is lies. The origin of every righteous deed- whether carried out in private or public- is based on truthfulness. And the origin of every corrupt deed – whether carried out in private or public- is lies. (3)

Al-Allaama Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah preserve him] said: “Through [Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)], Allaah removed us from the darkness of Shirk, indecency and Bidah, evil deeds and bad manners – lying, deceit, quackery and trickery; and (purified us) with pure (Islamic)] monotheism and strong sincere Eemaan. He [i.e. the Messenger] nurtured us upon truthfulness and took the oath of allegiance from us that we speak the truth wherever we may be, and he warned us against lies and evil deeds. And from the recompense (given) to a liar is that which has been reported from the noble Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him]- the person of high moral character- who said, “I saw (in a dream) – two men came to me”. Then the Prophet said, “They said, ‘the person- the one whose cheek you saw being torn away (from the mouth to the ear) was a liar and used to tell lies and the people would report those lies on his authority till they spread (that lie) all over the world. So, he will be punished like that till the Day of Resurrection”. [Reported by Imaam Al-Bukhaari: Number: 6096] (4)

We ask Allaah to protect us from the disease that has afflicted pottymouth Usaamah and remove him from this destructive trap of lies, deception, transgression, oppression, excess and quackery Aameen.

Does Talhah Davis and Matt Drake Know Who Uncle Muhammad Al-Maliki is?!

Abu Dardaa [may Allaah be pleased with him] said, “It is from the Fiqh (understanding of a person) that he (chooses) those whom he walks with, whom he enters upon (visits) & whom he sits with”. [Al-Ibaanah 2/477] Translated by Spubs

I (Abu Aa’isha – Amjad Khan) sent the above posted to my elder brother and companion Abu Abee Bakr (or Abu Mu’aawiyah)- Abdullah Al-Gambi – accompanied with a comment by Shaikh Abu Khadeejah, so Abdullah said, “Subhaanallaah! Talhah Davis?” I said, “I don’t know him”. He said, “He was an Imam in Wright street”. [end of conversation] Abdullah was dumbfounded and did not say anything thereafter.

This posted prompted us to remind the brothers and sisters about uncle Muhammad Al-Maliki, who first appeared in 2012 Muhammad as a willing supporter of Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin (Cheemtham Hill- Manchester). And not only was he willing to defend these staunch followers of Al-Maribi and Al-Maghraawi, but he also embarked upon a path of slander and lies against the Salafiyyoon of Al-Markazus Salafi [Manchester]

So after the hizbiyyoon presented their complaints to uncle Muhammad Al-Maliki, he decided to embark upon his disgraceful behaviour. And in order to hide the reality of the staunch hizbiyyoon at Masjid As-Sunnah and the unambiguous verdicts of the scholars against them, uncle Muhammad Al-Maliki utilised Aayaat of the Qur’aan and an authentic Hadeeth of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) against the Salafiyyoon of Al-Markazus Salafi.

The first Aayaat he utilised were in Soorah Al-Qalam as follows:
هَمَّازٍ مَّشَّاءٍ بِنَمِيمٍ
مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ

A slanderer, going about with calumnies; Hinderer of the good, transgressor, sinful. [Aayaat 11-12]

Then he quoted the authentic hadeeth: The Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: O you who believe with your tongues, yet eeman has not entered your hearts. Do not backbite the Muslims, nor follow their faults. For he who follows others faults then Allah will declare (disclose) his faults and he whom Allah reveals his faults, then Allah disgraces him in his own house.”

These were some of the authentic texts quoted by uncle Muhammad Al-Maliki for the purpose of sheltering and defending staunch defenders of Mubtadi’ah at Masjid As-Sunnah. So by deliberately utilizing these texts he hoped to achieve two goals-silence those who were transmitting the clear-unambiguous verdicts of the scholars against the staunch followers of Maribi, Halabi and Maghraawi at Masjid As-Sunnah and portray an evil image of them to the unsuspecting Muslims. So, reminded uncle Muhammad as follows, “How is it possible that those who warned against the Mubtadi’ah and their staunch followers- with clear unambiguous evidences from the scholars- are to be regarded as slanderers and hinderers of good, whilst those who have obstinately defended those Mubtadi’ah for more ten years are protected?! One of the Salaf said: “The one who is silent about the truth is a silent devil, while the one who speaks falsehood is a speaking devil.” [Quoted in Ad-Durar as-Saniyyah. 8/75-79]

Uncle Muhammad Al-Maliki’s Poem For al-Hajuri Al-Mubtadi

It is well-known to the Maraakiz of Salafiyyah that uncle Muhammad Al-Maliki was a regular guest of the UK followers of Halabi and Maribi.  However, he also wrote a poem  for Al-Hajoori.  So has he recanted those lines of poetry? If you cannot read Arabic, then ask someone to translate the poetry for you. The lines of poetry as follows:

للهِ دَرُّكَ يا حَجُـوري
أنْ كُنْتَ بِالحَقِّ جَهُورِ
تَصْبِرْ على بَغْي العَيِّي
أنْ كانَ بِالجَهْلِ جَسُورِ
والقَوْلُ إنْ لَمْ يَقْتَـرِن
بِدَلِيلِهِ فَكَمَـالبَخُــورِ
مَنْ بِالسَّفَاهَـةِ ذَمَّـكُم
قَدْ فَاهَ مِنْ غَيْرِ نُـورِ
ولَئِنْ تَزَايَـدَ ظُلْمُـهُ
قُمْتَ لَهُ مِثْلُ النُّسُـورِ
ولكَمْ صَبَرْتَ مُرَابِطاً
للرفضِ في تلكَ الثُغُورِ
تُعَرٍّضُ نَحْرَكَ للرِمَاحِ
وَتَنْصِبُ وَجْهَكَ للهَجيرِ
وَتَبْسُطُ يَدَكَ لكُلِ آتٍ
وَتَحْمِي سُّنَّةَ الهَادي البَشِيرِ
أَيُرمَى شَيْخُ دَمَّاجٍ بِظُلْمٍ
كَأَنَّ الشَّيْخُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشُّرُورِ
وَفَضْلاً عَنْ نَصِيحٍ صِرْتَ صَاحِ
إلى أُسْلُوبِ مُوغِرَةِ الصُّدُورٍ
فَيَالَيْتَ المُعَارِضَ قَدْ أتَانَا
بِبُرْهَانٍ وَليسَ بِقَولِ زُورِ
أَمَا يَدْرِي أَنَّا جِدُّ رَهْنٌ
قَبْلَ العَرْضِ في بَطْنِ القُبوُرِ
وَيَومَ العَرْضِ إمَّا مِنْ دَلِيلٍ
وَإمَّا فَالعُقُوبَةُ بِالسَّعِيـــرِ
فَشَرُ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَتْبَعْ هَوَاهُ
وشَرُّ الشَّرِّ تَصْدِيقُ الغَرُورِ
وخَيْرُ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَنْصَحْ أَخَاهُ
ولا يَحْقَرْ بِكِبْرٍ أوْ غُرُورِ
وَيُخفِي مَا اسْتَطَاعَ لَهُ نَصِيحاً
فَإِنَّ النُّصْحَ يَفْسُدُ بِالظُهُورِ
etc

Regarding the statement of uncle Muhammad Al-Maliki: [للهِ دَرُّكَ يا حَجُـوري]: This statement is uttered in praise of someone for his good actions bestowed upon him by the Tawfeeq of Allaah. So when a person is considered as someone with many good actions and the people receive much benefit from him by the Tawfeeq of Allaah, it is said about him in amazement [لله دره] [للهِ دَرُّكَ] etc. Basically, Allaah has bestowed on you the Tawfeeq to perform and accomplish much good, and how excellent that is! This was uncle Muhammad’s view of Al-Hajuri Al-Mubtadi after he was refuted and declared a Mubtadi. Indeed, it is not surprising that uncle held such absurd views because he took pride in associating himself with some of the followers at Masjid As-Sunnah (Cheemthamhill- Manchester). One of many deceptions and diversionary tactics: Uncle Muhammad deliberately sought to divert his listeners from the main subject matter [i.e. the dispute between the criticizers at Al-Markazus Salafi and Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin was due to the three contemporary figureheads of Bidah (Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi and Al-Maghraawi)]. He claimed that we (i.e. the ones who transmitted the refutations of the scholars at Al-Markazus Salafi against Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin) turn our faces away from a Muslim when he gives salaam, but we would say to a kaafir, “Hi John”.

Firstly: This statement of uncle was nothing else but mixing Haqq with Baatil. He produced no evidence to support his claims; rather it is yet another emotional rhetoric aimed at defaming the Salafiyyoon at Al-Markazus Salafi and to aid the staunch followers of the Mubtadi’ah (Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi and Al-Maghraawi).

Secondly: There is no doubt that a man of Sunnah will not give Salaam to a person against whom the verdict of Mubtadi is established with clear proofs, even if such a Mubtadi is still within the fold of Islaam. And likewise a man of Sunnah will not entertain those specific individuals about whom the Ulama have advised that they are to be boycotted due to the deadly Shubuhaat they spread. Shaikh Abdullaah Al-Bukhaari (may Allaah preserve him) stated: “’Some of the aims behind boycotting innovators and the people of falsehood: [a] Actualization of servitude to Allaah: Boycotting is an act of worship and an affair of the Sharee-ah, which must be carried out for the sake of Allaah (The Mighty and Majestic) and in accordance with the guidance of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam). [b] Enjoining good and forbidding evil. [c] Actualization of Walaa Wal Baraa (love and hate for the sake of Allaah). The other affairs that follow on from the above aims are: Restraining the innovator and his innovation and protecting the society from him. Preserving the Sharee-ah, so that what is not part of it is prevented from entering into it in the name of the Religion. We informed uncle at the time that Yahyah Al-Hajoori Haddaadi Al-Mubtadi is a Muslim, so why did Al-Allaamah Rabee refuse to meet him?! Then why did uncle unleash his tongue against the Salafiyyoon for establishing the sound Walaa Wal Baraa against those Admin members at Masjid As-Sunnah (Cheethamhill) who obstinately defend Mubtadi (Al-Halabi, Al-Maribi and Al-Maghraawi? Likewise, uncle did not provide any proof that we turn our faces away from other Muslims other than those whom the Ulama have advised that they are to be boycotted?! We did not entertain Mubtadi’ah and those specific individuals about whom our scholars have advised that they are to be boycotted due to the dangerous and deadly Shubuhaat they carry and propagate. As for other Muslims other than those dangerous people of falsehood and bidah, he had no proof to establish that we do turn away from them when they give us Salaam. It has been 10 years, he has not produced any proof.

As for the ruling with respect to greeting non-Muslims with other than As-Salaamu Alaykum, we  asked him to explain to us what that affair has to do with shunning a Mubtadi or the obstinate people of falsehood! Likewise, he did not produce any evidence that we do turn away from the common Muslims when they give us salaam.

Likewise, he sought to divert attention from the calamities of Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin by a very absurd question to Al-Markazus Salafi, saying, “Who says that Shaikh Wasiyullaah is a man of bidah?!” He asked us this question, but neither stated who held such a view nor cited the relevance of it to the discussion; rather it was another stratagem utilised to divert his audience from the main issues. This question was nothing else but a stratagem by way of which he sought to arouse the emotions of the common people at Masjid As-Sunnah and divert them from the very reasons Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin was being criticized and boycotted. He did not site a single evidence to respond to the knowledge based criticisms produced against the staunch followers and supporters of Al-Maribi (Ikhwaani Mubtadi), Al-Halabi (Murji Mubtadi) and Al-Maghraawi (Takfeeri, revolutionary, Mubtadi); rather he sought to play about with the emotions of his listeners.

These were a few issues amongst many others we discussed and reprimanded uncle Muhammad. Does Talhah Davis and Matt Drake know who they are associating with – openly listed alongside him?! We have not received any confirmation whether uncle Muhammad Al-Maliki has abandoned his old ways. May Allaah rectify his affairs and grant him good health Aameen, but we’ll never compromise the sound manhaj stances and clarity by the Tawfeeq of Allaah.

[3] Usaamah Al-Utaybi- [The Pottymouth Vile Hater Whose Affair Has Reached The Point of Madness] – Accuses The Salafi Maraakiz of Haddaadiyyah and Khaarijiyyah!

Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The over-stringent ones are destroyed”. (1) Imaam Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “The over-stringent ones are those who look too deeply (into affairs) and are excessive- those who exceed the Hudood (prescribed legislated Sharee’ah boundaries) in their statements and actions”. (2)

Indeed, we face two extremes – negligence from the likes of Ibraaheem Ar-Ruhayli and excess from the likes of Dr MUhammad Bin Haadi, and his fan Usaamah Al Utaybi – Mr pottymouth, the vile hater whose affair was precisely described by Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiree [may Allaah preserve him] as follows, “As for preventing his harm, by Allaah, neither I nor you can do this. If I had anything to do with it, I would have stopped it”. The Shaikh also said, “His affair has reached the point of madness, recklessness and lightmindedness”.

As for Usaamah Al-Utaybi- the pottymouth vile hater, he exceeds -upon foolishness, recklessness, and lightmindedness – where Dr Muhammad was forced to stop by the scholars. He speaks like one who enjoins good and forbids evil, whereas he is one enjoining evil and forbidding good, because he openly slanders those who refute excess and praise those who promote excess – slanders the virtuous Al-Maktabatus As-Salafiyyah (Birmingham) and the well-known callers in the UK, but praises Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi (the one who makes Tabdee without proofs and refuses to recan). Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali [may Allaah protect him] stated: “It has been reported in an authentic hadeeth -in Saheeh Al Bukhaari and Saheeh Muslim- that, ‘A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and thrown into the Fire, then his intestines will spill forth in the Fire and he will go around it as a donkey goes around a millstone. The people of Hell will gather around him and will say: O So and so! What is the matter with you; did you not use to enjoin good and forbid evil? He will say: Yes, I used to enjoin good, but did not do it; and I used to forbid evil and did it [i.e. commit the evil I used to forbid’. (a) Indeed, there maybe someone who is worse than this man, because he (i.e. the one worse than the man mentioned in this Hadeeth) enjoins evil and forbids good, so what will be his state of affairs, and Allaah’s Refuge is sought?!” (3)

The Slanders of Mr Potty-mouth Vile Usaamah Al-Utaybi

Mr Pottymouth – Utaybi’s Slander Number 1: Those -in Britain – who warn against Shaikh Sulaymaan’s gathering are Umalaa (i.e. stooges – those doing the dirty job of others)!

Response: Indeed, what has been witnessed by every person with an atom’s weight of sound intelligence and justice is that Al-Maktabatus Salafiyyah have stood firm – by the Tawfeeq of Allaah – to repel every opposer of the sound Salafi Manhaj, be it the people of Tamyee or extremism. This virtuous Maktabah has neither abandoned nor warned against anyone except due to the fact that such an individual is either one declared a Mubtadi by a scholar based on clear proof or someone who openly supports error; either someone who associates with the people upon clear error or someone who seeks lame excuses for the people of error after the clear proofs have been established; however, neither have they exceeded the limits nor neglected the affair of those who deserve to be reprimanded. Response: Firstly, if this judgement was passed against a single person without any proof, it would have been enough to be declared an extreme injustice, falsehood, slander, opression and evil, then how about when Mr reckless – potty mouth Mr Al-Utaybi – passes judgement- without any proof- against everyone who warns against those who support Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi, even though (Dr Muhammad) is one who made Tabdee of some Salafis without proof?! Therefore, all that this vile man (Usaamah) is doing is that he has fallen into the same falsehood that Dr Muhammad fell into, and their predecessor in extremism and vile speech is none but the Mubtadi Yahyah Al-Hajuri. Pottymouth – Utaybi’s Slander Number 3: Abu Khadeejah is the leader of a mafia group called Maktabah Salafiyyah!

Response: May Allaah protect Shaikh Abu Khadeejah and his loved ones, protect the teachers and the Maraakiz Aameen. Do we need to inform Mr pottymouth – the evil fool (Al-Utaybi) – what a mafia is?! The statement of vile shaytaan necessitates that Shaikh Abu Khadeejah is the leader of an organization that arbitrates disputes between criminals and enforce illegal agreements between them through the use of or threat of violence! This is the least a mafia does, so can this vile Al-Utaybi describe a group amongst Ahlus Sunnah, who – for nearly three decades – have stood firm against every exposer of Salafiyyah in the east and the west, either by way of refutation or clear stances based on the Qur’aan, the Sunnah and the understanding of the Sahaabah, and constantly returning to the upright scholars to this present day. Indeed, what Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abbdillaah Al-Jaabiree stated about this Al-Utaybi can be clearly noticed whenever a sensible person examines the statement of this evil fool. His statements, views and thoughts in this affairs clearly shows that he has become stupid, mindless, egotistic, rash and unwise – a silly fool, whose mouth gets him into trouble, openly manifests blameworthy hatred towards people who oppose his false thinking, slanders and seeks to belittle through a derisive attitude, behavior and speech; turns a deaf ear to sound clarification and admonition in this affair, misled by self-deception, arrogantly gratifying his vain desires and taking delight in his scornful behaviour. This slander that exits the mouth of this vile liar is not even expected from those who do not attribute themselves to knowledge, then how about the one who attributes himself to knowledge and claims to aid the truth. Imaam Al-Khateeb Al-Baghdaadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “It is incumbent that the seekers of Hadeeth should be the (possessors of the) most perfect (behaviour, traits, manners, etiquettes etc) amongst the people, the most humble amongst the people, the greatest in their impartiality and adherence to the religion, the least in (deviating from good conduct) and (being overcome by) angry; and that is due to constantly lending an ear to the narrations that combine the excellent manners and etiquettes of Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], the lives of the virtuous pious predecessors, the path of the scholars of Hadeeth and the virtues of the (pious ones and scholars) who have passed away; so they adhere to the most refined and excellent (aspects of those traits, etiquettes, manners etc) and turn away from the most despised and lowly (traits, behaviour, manners, etiquettes etc)”. (4)

However, envy and loving to be heard, even if that necessitates uttering outright falsehood, has afflicted this vile fool, because only a vile and envious fool would seek attribute Haddaadiyyah, Khaarijiyyah and criminality to Al-Maktabatus Salafiyyah and the Maraakiz?! Imaam Al-Fudayl Bin Iyaad [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “There’s none who loves leadership, except that he will envy, transgress, seek after people’s fault (i.e. falsely) and hates that anyone else is mentioned with good”. (5)

We ask Allaah to guide him, protect us from his evil or break his back Aameen.

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُونُواْ قَوَّٲمِينَ لِلَّهِ شُہَدَآءَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ‌ۖ وَلَا يَجۡرِمَنَّڪُمۡ شَنَـَٔانُ قَوۡمٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَلَّا تَعۡدِلُواْ‌ۚ ٱعۡدِلُواْ هُوَ أَقۡرَبُ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰ‌ۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ‌ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Well­ Acquainted with what you do. [Surah Al-Maa’idah. Aayah 8]

Indeed, Usaamah Al-Utaybi [may Allaah guide him or break his back] is one well known for excessive sinful speech. His chaotic behaviour is well known just as Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiree [may Allaah protect him] stated about him to the people of Libya, “As for preventing his harm, by Allaah, neither I nor you can do this. If I had anything to do with it, I would have stopped it”. The guy is excessive and harmful, and this destructive behaviour has been clearly manifested in a statement of his when he stated that those who transmit warning against Shaikh Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhayli’s gathering in Britian are Umalaa (i.e. doing a dirty job on behalf of someone), ahlul bidah, (proponents of innovation in religion), absorbed in the methodology of the Haddaadiyyah, and that amongst them are those concealing the methodology of the Khawaarij, and that from those who warn against this gathering is (Shaikh) Abu Khadeejah, who -according to pottymouth Usamah – is a leader of a Mafia group called Maktabah Salafiyyah, and one who hinders people from the path of Allaah etc.

Indeed, brothers and sisters, if the falsehood and excessive speech, the slanderous and chaotic behaviour of this vile wrong doer (Usaamah Al-Utaybi) never manifested to you in the past, then indeed what he stated above is enough as an example, just as Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiree stated about him, “His affair has reached the point of madness, recklessness and lightmindedness”.

Then pottymouth Usaamah added – to his vile tirade – the claim that Shaikh Abu Khadeejah [may Allaah protect him from the malicious tongues] is one who hinders people from the path of Allaah and that he is the leader of a mafia group called Maktabah Salafiyyah! Indeed, even though this statement unveils Usaamah’s foolish thoughts and views, but it contains – in addition to his more serious slanders about us being ahlul bidah – a mighty slander. Does this man not fear Allaah for unleashing his vile tongue and passing false rulings based on vain desires?! Allaah said:

[وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡذُونَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰتِ بِغَيۡرِ مَا ٱڪۡتَسَبُواْ فَقَدِ ٱحۡتَمَلُواْ بُهۡتَـٰنً۬ا وَإِثۡمً۬ا مُّبِينً۬ا – And those who annoy believing men and women undeservedly, bear on themselves the crime of slander and plain sin]. [Surah Al-Ahzaab. Aayah 58]

Al-Baraa’ah Ibn Aazib [may Allaah be pleased with him] said, “Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, ‘Usury has seventy-two doors, the least of which is like a man who goes into his mother [i.e. sexual intercourse]. The worst act of usury is for a man to attack the reputation of his brother”. [Mu’jam al-Awsaṭ 7151. Graded Saheeh Li-Ghayrihee By Imaam Al-Albaanee]

The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “The worst form of usury is the violation of someone’s honour”. “Verily, the worst act of usury is to attack the honour of a Muslim without a just cause”. [Abu Daawud 4876]
“Verily, the worst act of usury is to attack the reputation of a Muslim”- Meaning, the greater in evil and the more severely prohibited is to unleash the tongue against the honour of a Muslim by belittling him, behaving arrogantly towards him and speaking ill against him by way of slander or verbal abuse. This becomes more severe in prohibition because honour is more noble than one’s self and wealth. (1) This [i.e. violating the honour of a Muslim] has been referred to as usury because the transgressor establishes his honour and then goes beyond it, so it is as if he has added an increase that encroaches the boundaries in relation to the honour of a Muslim which is more valuable than his wealth. Al-Qaadhee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Attacking a Muslim’s honour is to deal with him more than what he deserves of that which is to be said about him or more than what is allowed to be said about him, and this is why it is likened to usury and considered one of its types. Then it is considered worse because it contains more harm and corruption”. (2)

Therefore, brothers and sisters, slander is not be tolerated from this vile Usaamah Al-Utaybi [may Allaah guide him or break his back], especially when such slander is disguised as knowledge. Even though this shameless potty accused us of Bidah, without an atom’s weight of proof, he followed the path of ahlul bidah in issuing judgements based on desires. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said: “The judges are three: one will go to Paradise and two to Hell. A man who knows the truth and judges with it will enter paradise; a man who knows the truth but judges with the opposite of it will enter the fire, and a man who judges for the people based on ignorance will enter the fire”. Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “And when it is the case that the one who judges between the people in (affairs) of wealth, blood [i.e. murder cases, physical violence etc] and honour will enter the hell fire if he is not a just scholar, then how about the one who passes judgements – without knowledge and justice – on creeds, religions, the fundamentals of belief, divine knowledge and the general fundamental principles related to different subject matters, as is the case with ahlul bidah wal ahwaa [the proponents of religious innovations and desires]”. This is what vile potty mouth Usaamah has fallen into by passing judgements against us based on the path of vain desires – a well known behaviour of ahlul bidah, even though we do not follow his satanic footsteps by declaring that he is a Mubtadi; rather it is enough that every sane person can see the precision Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiree’s observation when he stated about pottymouth Usaamah, “His affair has reached the point of madness, recklessness and lightmindedness”.

In conclusion, Shaikh Abu Iyaad [may Allaah protect him] once said to a resentful hater as follows: “So I say: Lamont Battle is an ahmaq (fool) and his hamaaqah (foolishness) becomes clearer and clearer to everyone by the day. I will not stoop so low so as to ask him to recant and apologise to me because, judging by his behaviour so far, he does not have that sense of justice and it appears that Shaytaan has gained mastery over his nafs in this issue. So all I will say is that may Allaah’s curse be upon the liar. Whoever is lying, may Allaah’s curse be upon the liar. And if he is truthful, then let him call Allaah to witness and invoke the curse of Allaah upon the liar. I am free and innocent of his evil slander and I have no concern whatsoever with his personal or private affairs”. Likewise, we say the same thing to vile Usaamah – an ahmaq (fool), whose hamaaqah (foolishness) becomes clearer and clearer to everyone by the day! May Allaah guide him or break his back Aameen.

Why do we refer to him as a “Pottymouth Hater?” That is because he uses obscene language, hurls false accusations at people in both religious and worldly affairs, and even accuses them of immoral conduct with women without a shred of evidence. This will be made known in the posts to follow InShaaAllaah.

Al-Allaamah Ubaid bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiri [may Allaah protect him] stated:

May the peace, mercy and blessings of Allaah be upon you. All praise be to Allaah, and may Allaah’s peace and blessings be upon our Prophet and all his family and companions. Firstly, (this speech is) in conformity with the verdict I gave in the past which was more well-known. Secondly, we are on the advice we wrote to our children – the subjects and leaders of Libya. Thirdly, this man, Usaama Bin Ataayaa, the Palestinian, who calls himself Al-Utaybi, and Allaah knows best whether this is his lineage and it has nothing to do with me; but I say that his affair has reached the point of madness, recklessness and lightmindedness, so my advice is that the people of Libya should not be deceived by him- neither their common people nor their elite, and that they rally behind the one whom Allaah has placed in authority over them in order not to disobey him (in what he commands of good), acknowledge him by listening and obeying him in times of ease and hardship, and in what they like and dislike. (see footnote a) This is the summary regarding this man (i.e. Usaama). As for preventing his harm, by Allaah, neither I nor you can do this. If I had anything to do with it, I would have stopped it. The man stirred up Fitna, and I say, he was one of those who stirred up Fitna, as it was reported to me from trustworthy people from Misrata. [Warning Dated: Monday  29th Shawwal 1435AH]

Advice to a 15 Year Old Who Wanted to Seek Knowledge – By Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The questioner mentions that he is a fifteen-year-old young man and wants to seek Islamic knowledge, so what is your advice? What are the things that he must do and fulil? He says: Bearing in mind that our city has few callers to Islam and students of knowledge.

Response: We advise him to seek knowledge in the schools -intermediate and secondary- opened by the government, or the institutes of knowledge. He strives to reach them (or enrol). And if they have gatherings of knowledge by the judges or others, he attends the gatherings of knowledge if it is available at night or during the day- combining this and this. He enrolls in regular schools and makes effort. He reads to the scholars in his township if they have gatherings of knowledge at night or during the day- attend the gatherings, benefit and strive hard to memorize the Noble Qur’an and memorize beneficial books, such as Kitaab at-Tawheed, Kishf Ash-Shubuhaat, Thalaathah Al-Usool and Qawaa’id Al-Arba’ah by Shaikhul Islaam Muhammad Bin Abdil Wahhaab [may Allaah have mercy upon him], and also Al-Aqeedah Al-Waasitiyyah by Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him]. These are good books that are important to memorize. And books like An-Nawawi’s forty hadeeth and its completion by Ibn Rajab’s Khamseen Hadeeth Min Jawaami Al-Kalim. He memorises these great and beneficial hadiths. In any case, the advice for this young man is that he strive to seek knowledge in regular schools, and from the Shaikhs if he has someone from the Shaikhs to read to in the gatherinsg of knowledge. سماحة الشيخ! من حوطة بني تميم السائل الذي رمز لاسمه بـ (ف. ش. ك) يذكر بأنه شاب يبلغ من العمر الخامسة عشرة، ويرغب في طلب العلم الشرعي، فما هي نصيحتكم سماحة الشيخ لمثل هذا؟ وما هي الأمور التي لابد أن يعملها، ويتمثل بها؟ يقول: علمًا بأن مدينتنا قليلة من الدعاة، وطلبة العلم، جزاكم الله خيرًا
نوصيه بطلب العلم في المدارس التي فتحتها الحكومة المتوسطة، والثانوي، أو المعاهد العلمية … يجتهد حتى يلحق بها، وإذا كان عندهم حلقات علم لأهل العلم من القضاة، أو غيرهم يحضر حلقات العلم إذا تيسر في الليل، أو في النهار يجمع بين هذا وهذا، يلتحق بالمدارس النظامية، ويجتهد، ويقرأ على العلماء في بلده إذا كان عندهم حلقات علم في الليل، أو في النهار، يحضر الحلقات، ويستفيد، ويجتهد في حفظ القرآن الكريم، وحفظ الكتب النافعة، مثل كتاب التوحيد، كشف الشبهات، ثلاثة الأصول، والقواعد الأربع للشيخ محمد -رحمه الله- محمد بن عبد الوهاب، وكذلك العقيدة الواسطية لشيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية، هذه كتب جيدة مهمة يحفظها، ومثل الأربعين النووية، وتكملتها لابن رجب خمسين حديثًا من جوامع الكلم، يحفظ هذه الأحاديث العظيمة، والنافعة

Indeed, our youth are in UK have easy access to the knowledge that is obligated on every individual to seek. Some have travelled to study Alhamdu lil laah and others have direct access to teachers in the Maraakiz, especially our local Mashaayikh in Birmingham where different subject matters – Aqeedah, Manhaj, Fiqh, Tafseer, Seerah, Hadeeth – are taught from Monday to Saturday. Likewise, there are lessons in various Masaajid and Centres in other Masaajid and Centres. Indeed, this is a great blessing that was not available to many of us 25 years ago. May Allaah bless all the teachers – the elders and youth amongst them, keep them firm, increase them in beneficial knowledge, righteous deeds and pure provision Aameen.

Brief Response to The One Who Says, “Your Disapproval of Muhammad Bin Haadi is too Severe”

Why Strongly Manifest Disapproval of The One – Muhammad Bin Haadi- Who Oppressively Makes Tabdee and Obstinately Refuses to Recant?! Examine- briefly – What is Said About Bidah and The Mubtadi’ah, Then You’ll Understand That Passing The Judgment of “Mubtadi – Innovator in Religious Affairs” Against a Muslim Cannot Be Based On Haste, Assumptions, Half-truths and Oppression!   

Allaah [The Most High] said: [ أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ فَرَآهُ حَسَنًا – Is he, then, to whom the evil of his deeds made fair seeming, so that he considers it as good (equal to one who is rightly guided)?] [Surah Faatir. Aayah 8] Sa’eed Bin Jubair [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “This was revealed concerning the people of bidah and desires”. [Tafseer Al-Baghawi 3/689]

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah preserve him] said, “The upright jurist of Basra and the most intelligent of them- Salaam Bin Abee Mutee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] – said, “It is more beloved to me that I meet Allaah with the scroll of Hajjaaj than meet Him with the scroll of Amr Ibn Ubaid”. Amr Ibn Ubaid was a Zaahid (see footnote a) and a worshipper Maashaa-Allaah, but he was an innovator in religious affairs and a misguided one, and Hajjaaj was an evil doer, a blood shedder and a criminal. He [Salaam Bin Abee Mutee] held that if he were to make a choice between meeting Allaah with the scroll of Hajjaaj and that of Amr Ibn Ubaid, he would choose to meet Allaah with the scroll of Hajjaaj-the blood shedder and oppressive evil doer. And why is this? (That is) due to his realization regarding the danger and ugliness of bidah. And it is sufficient for us that the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] described (bidah) in his khutbah as the worst of all affairs, as reported in the Hadeeth of Jaabir [may Allaah be pleased with him]”. (1)

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Being distanced from Allaah is of various levels and some are more severe than others. Being distanced from (Allaah) through disobedience is greater than being distanced from (Allaah) through thoughtlessness; being distanced from (Allaah) through Bidah is greater than being distanced from (Allaah) through disobedience, and being distanced from (Allaah) through hypocrisy and shirk is greater than all of that”. (2)

He also said, “The trial initiated by a Mubtadi (interferes) with the very foundation of the religions, wheras the trial initiated by a sinner is related to forbidden desires. Unlike the sinner, the Mubtadi blocks people’s path towards the straight path, hinders them from it, nullifies the message brought by the Messenger and cuts off the path to (reward) in the Afterlife, whereas a sinner’s path to (attaining reward) is slowed due to his sin”. (3)

Ibn Abbaas [may Allaah be pleased with him and his father] said, “Do not sit with the people of desires; for indeed it causes sickness of the heart”. (4)

Sallaam Ibn Abee Mutee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “A man from the people of desires (ahlul bidah) said to Ayyoub As-Sakhtiyaanee [may Allaah have mercy upon him], ‘O Abaa-Bakr! I want to ask you about some statement’, so Ayyoub walked away and started gesturing with his finger, saying, ‘Not even half a statement'”. (5)

Ahmad Ibn Sinaan Al-Qattaan [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “There is no Mubtadi in the dunyah except that he hates ahlul hadeeth, and when a man innovates the sweetness of hadeeth is removed from his heart”. (6)

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali [may Allaah protect him] said, “Ibnul Jawzi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said that Abul Wafaa Ibn Aqeel Al-Faqee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, ‘Our Shaikh Abul Fadl Al-Hamdaani [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, ‘The Mubtadi’ah in Islam and the fabricators of Hadeeth are worse than the heretics, because the heretics aim to corrupt Islam from the outside, whilst these (people) want to corrupt it from within. They [i.e. Mubtadi’ah and fabricators of hadeeth] are similar to the people of a country who try to corrupt its state of affairs and the heretics are similar to those who lay a siege from the outside; so the ones from within open the fortress. Therefore, they are more harmful to Islam than those who do not (attribute) themselves to it outwardly”.(7)

Imaam Ahmad [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Beware of writing down (knowledge) from one of the people of desires (i.e. ahlul bidah) – be it a little or a lot”. (8)

Sa’eed Ibn Amr Al-Bardha’ee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “I witnessed (when) Abu Zur’ah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] was asked about Haarith Al-Muhaasibee and his books, so he said to the questioner, ‘Beware of these books, they are books of bidah and misguidance'”. (9)

Two Types of Bidah- Bida’atul Mukaffirah and Bida’atul Mufassiqah: Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah preserve him] was asked whether there is a difference between Bidah Al-Mukaffirah and Bidah Al-Mufassiqah; so he replied that there is Bidah Mukaffirah, such as rejecting the Ruyah (i.e. denying that the believers will see Allaah in the afterlife); rejecting Allaah’s Uluww [i.e. denying that Allaah is above his creation –Allaah ascended over the Throne in a way that benefits his majesty)]; invoking other than Allaah; offering slaughtered sacrifice (i.e. animals) to other than Allaah etc. These are affairs of Bidah Al-Mukaffirah (the bidah that is tantamount to disbelief); but we do not make Takfeer of the people who commit this type of Bidah until we establish the proofs against them. That is because some of them (i.e. the people who fall into these affairs) carry doubts and are far away from the era of Prophethood and its light (i.e. guidance). So they fall into the likes these innovations. Rejecting the Ruyah is disbelief; rejecting Allaah’s Uluww is disbelief; the saying that the Qur’aan is created is disbelief-major disbelief; but this person -[who testifies that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allaah, and he prays, observes fasting, wants paradise and believes in that] -received the doubts of the people of falsehood, so he falls into the likes of these affairs (i.e. these innovations that are tantamount to disbelief). So we say to him, “You have fallen into disbelief and the evidence is this and this, and we clarify for him”. So if Allaah grants him Tawfeeq [i.e. blesses him with knowledge and to act] and he returns to the truth, then all praise is due to Allaah; but if not, we declare him a disbeliever after establishing the proofs against him. Therefore, after being acquainted with the danger of Bidah, the danger a Mubtadi exposes himself to, the manner in which he is viewed and treated, then none needs to emphasise – to you – the destructive path of one who hastens and oppressively pass the judgment of “Mubtadi – innovator in religious affairs” against a Muslim. This is why Al-Allaamah Rabee challenged Muhammad Bin Haadi to bring his proofs and rebuked him severely, but neither has he provided sound proofs nor recanted his oppressive judgements against those whom he oppressed. So, why is this man being aided to oppress others?! Neither has he produced proofs nor repented from this great crime of false Tabdee. Finally, we remind of ourselves regarding the great crime of oppression and false accusation. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Verily, Allah has revealed to me that you should adopt humility, so that no one may wrong another and no one may be disdainful and haughty towards another.” [Riyaadus Saaliheen 1589]

Yahya Ibn Rashid [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “We were sitting waiting for Abdullah Ibn Umar [may Allaah be pleased with him and his father] who came out to us and sat. He then said, ‘I heard Allaah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying, ‘If anyone’s intercession intervenes as an obstacle to one of the punishments prescribed by Allah, he has opposed Allah; if anyone disputes knowingly about something which is false, he remains in the displeasure of Allah till he desists, and if anyone makes an untruthful accusation against a Muslim, he will be made by Allah to dwell in the corrupt fluid flowing from the inhabitants of Hell till he retracts his statement'”. Muhammad Bin Haadi and those who support his crime must desist if they truly fear Allaah. May Allaah guide them and protect us from every blameworthy affair Aameen.

Shaikh Abu Khadeejah [may Allaah preserve him and protect him from the enmity of the people of bidah, hizbiyyah and Tamyee] wrote, “In the nineties, when the da’wah was in its infancy, many people left the Salafi Manhaj, preferring the paths of innovation – Dawud (rahimahullaah) saw them come and saw them go, but he would not join them in their opposition. Rather he would advise those who were once with us upon this path of Sunnah, he would show great concern for them so they not be misguided. He would make du’aa for them, and then leave their affair to Allaah, and stop his association with them only for the sake of Allaah. He would not compromise with them, nor praise those who opposed this blessed Manhaj. He was the first person to translate the rudood (refutations) of Shaikh Muqbil, Shaikh al-Albaanee and Shaikh Rabee’ against Jam’iyyah Ihyaa Turaath al-Islaamee – he stemmed and almost cut off their bid’ah in the UK by way of these translations (by the permission of Allaah). Indeed, this above statement of Shaikh Abu Khadeejah is truth. Shaikh Abu Talhah [may Allaah have mercy upon him and his wife] translated the works of the scholars in refutation against the Mubtadi’h within the ranks of Ihya Turaath, such as the likes of Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq. He was also well-known for translating the works of the scholars on various topics needed to clarify the correct positions on Ibaadah, Aqeedah, Manhaj, groups, parties, sects, contemporary deviant organizations, individuals and personalities. Facts about Shaikh Abu Talhah – aA man who defended the Sunnah!

FACT: Shaikh Abu Talhah translated Shaikh Muqbil’s refutations on Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul-Khaaliq and Ihyaa Turaath in 1996, ‘The Blazing Meteor’ series.

FACT: Shaikh Abu Talhah translated Shaikh Muqbils’ refutation on Abdullaah as-Sabt of Ihyaa Turaath in 1997.

FACT: Shaikh Abu Talhah translated Shaikh Muqbil’s refutations on Suhaib Hasan and al-Hidaayah in 1997.

FACT: Abu Talhah translated Shaikh Rabee’s first critique of Suhaib Hasan and Turaath in 1997 after Hajj.

FACT: Shaikh Abu Talhah translated sections from Shaikh Rabee’s ‘Jamaa’ah Waahidah Laa Jama’aat’ in refutation of the head of Ihyaa Turaath, Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul-Khaaliq in 1998.

FACT: Shaikh Abu Talhah translated portions of Shaikh Abdus-Salaam Burjis’s ‘Mu’amalaat al-Hukaam’ in refutation of the Qutubees and those who called for revolt and revolution in the mid to late 1990′s.

FACT: Shaikh Abu Talhah prevented any amalgamation with Muhammad Suroor after he had read ‘as-Sunnah’ magazine of this takfeeree in the early nineties, and found it to be in contradiction to the Sunnah!

FACT: Shaikh Abu Talhah translated portions of the book ‘al-Qutubiyyah’ in refutation of the Qutubees such as Safar al-Hawaalee and Salmaan al-Awdah who were attacking the major scholars.

FACT: Shaikh Abu Talhah translated the fatwa of Shaikh Ibn Baaz (rahimahullaah) calling the authorities to prevent Safar and Salmaan from delivering lectures, classes and their tapes from being distributed.

FACT: Shaikh Abu Talhah translated many of Shaikh Rabee’s refutations against Syed Qutub and al-Mawdoodee; ‘Manhaj al-Anbiyah’ is point and case.

This was part of Shaikh Abu Talhah’s methodology, which he learnt from the scholars of Salafiyyah, and this is the same methodology he died upon. The Imaam of Jarh Wat-Tadeel in our era Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee and others are witnesses to this fact and this is what Salafipublications are upon to this day – may Allaah protect us and them Aameen. Neither upon the methodology of the Qutubiyyah and Surooriyyah nor that of the Haddaadiyyah; neither upon the methodology of Al-Maghraawi nor that of Al-Maribi, Halabi, Al-Hajoori, Bilaal Philips, Abu Muslimah, Abu Usaamah, Shadeed Muhammad, Ali Tameemi, Zaraboozo and others; neither upon the innovations of Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen and Hasan al-Banna nor that of Jamaat At-Tableegh and Muhammad Ilyaas; neither reject the Jarh Mufassar of the scholars in order to defend figureheads and personalities of bidah nor speak with Al-Muwaazanah to accommodate the groups, sects and figureheads of Bidah; neither promote the false principle “We do not disparage but we only correct mistakes’’ nor the other false principle “Let’s not make our differing about someone else a reason for differing amongst ourselves.’’ Neither bring doubts in the narrations of the trustworthy narrators nor differentiate between Aqeedah and Manhaj in order to destroy the clear boundaries between the Salafi Methodology and the false methodologies; neither call to political parties nor the evil and false view that the Salaf differed in Aqeedah, neither revile the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah in this time and make the people flee from them, such as the likes of Muhammad Bin Haadi, nor defend those who call the Sahaabah scum, such as Abul Hasan Al-Maribi; neither call the people to accept the misguided sects, parties and organizations into the domain of Ahlus Sunnah nor call to the unity of religions; neither defend the principles that are now been propagated by likes of Ibraaheem Ruhayli nor the extremism that has afflicted Muhammad Bin Haadi and the Musaafiqah.

We conclude with a statement of Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah preserve him] as follows: “All of you hold onto the Rope of Allaah [i.e. The Qur’aan and authentic Sunnah]- Allaah will aid you in this and make you like the sun; return to the understanding of the righteous predecessors, and it is, as I said to you, transmitted (and established) in your presence. This is a challenge to those who oppose this. We are challenging ahlul bidah wal ahwaa [the proponents of innovation in religious affairs and followers of desires] in their creed and politics. We say, between us and you is the (path, understanding of the) pious predecessors and books (of the pious predecessors). Ahmad [i.e. Imaam Ahmad] used to say to the proponents of innovation in religious affairs, “Between us and you are the funerals (i.e. whose funeral will be attended by ahlus sunnah in great numbers)”. We say (i.e. at present), “Between us and you are the books (of the pious predecessors)- the books are present!

Allaah said to His Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him]: [قل فَأْتُوا بِالتَّوْرَاةِ فَاتْلُوهَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ – All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel made unlawful for himself before the Taurat (Torah) was revealed. Say (O Muhammad ): “Bring here the Taurat (Torah) and recite it, if you are truthful”]- So they bring the Torah and you proof them to be upon falsehood. We bring the books of the pious predecessors – the Qur’an, the Sunnah, the books of Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood, at-Tirmidhi, an-Nasaa’ee, and what was authored by Ahmad and others; we bring them (to prove) those who are on the path of these (pious predecessors) and those who turn away and oppose them. Just as Allaah challenged the Jews to bring the Torah, so the Torah was brought and they were exposed them, (likewise), we challenge these people to bring the books of the pious predecessors, so that the innovator in religious affairs is exposed, and to clarify who the deviants are- whether us or them? Are they able to challenge? Can they open their mouths like this? We fill our mouths with courage – challenge everyone who says that we are upon other than methodology of the pious predecessors. We, by Allaah, call to the methodology of the pious predecessors- to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him]. We use the book of Allaah and the Sunnah as proof for our beliefs, our acts of worship, dealings with rulers and their subjects, in dealing with the groups and sects. As for the others, they are upon tricks, deception etc By Allaah, you will not find with them anything but tricks and manipulating the emotions of youth”. (1)
