Abdullaah Ibnul Mubaarak (rahimahullaah) said: ”I entered Basri and did not see anyone who had more resemblance to the ways of the first generation (i.e. the Sahaabah) than Hammaad Bin Salamah’’ [Tahdheeb Al-kamaal:7/264]
I have not seen one with more mercy to the needy than Shu’bah (rahimahullaah); When he would see a needy person, he would not stop looking at him until he disappeared from his presence. [Hilyatul Awliyaa 7/146]
Yahyah Al-Qattaan (rahimahullaah) said:
Shu’bah (rahimahullaah) used to be from the most soft-hearted amongst the people. He used to give beggars whatever he could. [Siyar A’laam Nubulaa: 7/211]
Sheikh Ali Naasir Al-Faqeehee (hafidha-hullaah) said:
As for the mistaken one in some of the matters (of the religion), the one who is known for his minhaj (correct methodology), his praiseworthy manner and Islamic legislated knowledge, then his mistake does not remove his status nor reduce his rank. If he is alive, then it is a must to clarify to him the mistake in a wise manner that which is known between the scholars based upon cooperating in accordance with righteousness and piety because religion is advice.
You put the advice to the student of knowledge based upon his status with good manners and respect showing the truth with its proof not in an aggressive manner and not arrogantly towering over the person haughtily. Rather, with wisdom and beautiful preaching. This is what is sought from the advice. The unity is kept and love and brotherhood for the sake of Allāh remains for indeed the believers are brothers.
If the mistaken one has returned to his Lord (passed away) then he is to be supplicated for as perfection is for the prophets alone. The mistakes of other than the prophets are clarified to the people so that the people don’t follow their mistakes in those matters. [Al-Bidcah Dhawabidtuha wa Atharuha as-Sayi’a fil Ummah p.24]
Al-Awazaa’ee (rahimahullaah) said: ”A man does not innovate an innovation in religion, except that he is deprived of the fear that makes a person stay away from those doubtful matters, which is feared may ruin the affairs of one’s afterlife.” [siyar A’laam Nubulaa 7/125]
Abee Hafs Amr Bin Abee Salamah (rahimahullaah) said that Al-Awzaa’ee (rahimahullaah) said: ”Whoever remembers death much will be sufficed with little; and whoever knows that his speech is from his actions, his speech will become less.” Abu Hafs said: I heard Saeed Bin Abdil Azeez (rahimahullaah) saying: Al-Awzaa’ee has not approached us with anything more amazing than this.” [Hilyatul awliyaa:6/143]
Mansoor Ibn Abil Aswad (rahimahullaah) said: ”I asked Al-Amash (rahimahullaah) what he has heard stated about the statement of Allaah: ”And thus We do make the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) Auliya’ (supporters and helpers) one to another (in committing crimes etc.), because of that which they used to earn.’’ [Al-An’aam: Ayah:129] He (Al-AMash) said: ”when the people become corrupt, the most evil amongst them are made to rule over them.” [Hilyatul awliyaa 5/50-51]
”Habeeb (rahimahullaah) narrated from Ibn Seereen (rahimahullaah) who said: If Allaah wishes good for a salve, He assigns for him an admonisher in his heart that commands and forbids him.” [hilyatul awliyaa 2/263]
Say (O Muhammad SAW): “O My slaves who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), be afraid of your Lord (Allah) and keep your duty to Him. Good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world, and Allah’s earth is spacious (so if you cannot worship Allah at a place, then go to another)! Only those who are patient shall receive their rewards in full, without reckoning.” [39:10] (En: Khan)
Tafseer Muyassar:
Say (O Prophet) to my servants who believe in Allaah and his Messenger : fear your lord by obeying him and by refraining from disobeying him. For those who do good in this world by worshipping their Lord and by obeying him there is good in the hereafter, that is paradise. And for them is the good in this world from good health and sustenance and aid and other than that. And the earth of Allaah is spacious so migrate to where you can worship your Lord and are able to establish your religion. It is only the patient who will receive their unlimited, enumerable and immeasurable reward in the hereafter. And this is aggrandising the recompense for those who are patient and their reward.
It has come to our attention that someone has posted the photograph of Imaam Muqbil (rahimahullaah) on twitter. The Imaam’s (rahimahullaah) stance towards photography was well known, he did not allow it; so to circulate his passport photo without his permission is a serious violation. Likewise, how would we feel if someone violated a valid stance of a dead relative of ours? Please remove that photo of the Imaam and ask others not to circulate it. May Allaah reward you.
