Allah [The Exalted] said:

وَإِذَا قُلۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡدِلُواْ وَلَوۡ ڪَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰ‌ۖ

And when you testify, be just, even if (it concerns) a near relative. [1]

When you testify by way of a statement to judge between people, differentiate between them in a discourse, and speak regarding matters and circumstances, be just in your speech, adhere to truthfulness regarding those you love and those you hate, be fair and do not conceal what needs to be made clear because it is forbidden and tantamount to injustice to divert (from justice and fairness) when speaking against the one you hate. [2]

Therefore, we remind ourselves of the fact that not all Jews are engaged in the plots of the Zionists, as Shaikh Abu Iyaad [may Allah preserve him] stated, “It is important to note that not all Jews are involved in these intrigues and the Jews as a population have, throughout history, been subject to the whims and desires of their religious and political leaders, and have been made to undergo much persecution as a result”. The “Religious Round Table” organisation

Several Christian Zionist leaders, including Pastor Jerry Falwell of the “Moral Majority” and Paul Weyrich of the Zionist political organisation “Free Congress Foundation”, founded this organisation in September 1979. Under the leadership of Zionist priest Edward McAteer, this organisation established branches in most American United States. It declared that its objective is to organise seminars to educate religious people about politics and to set up meetings between political leaders and leaders of Fundamentalist Christianity and Evangelicalism in general. At the start of 1980, fourteen seminars were held, one of which was attended by Ronald Reagan, the American presidential candidate. The number of people that attended these seminars was estimated at forty.

One of the most prominent activities of this organisation is the annual “Prayer Breakfast” to pray for Israel and support its policies and aims. It also has a habit of performing a prayer in which Israel is blessed, with the signatures of more than fifty million Zionist Christians who believe in the Torah. [Footnote a] Religious and political leaders, businesses, and US government representatives all attend these parties. In 1983, the “Prayer Breakfast Conference for Israel” was held in the US capital, then a statement was issued to “confirm the call of the US to cooperate with Israel in fulfillment of the texts of the Torah, and its call to move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Footnote a: Shaikh Al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated: The People of the Scripture who came after the abrogation and replacement of (the Torah and the Injeel) are neither those who believed in Allah and the Last Day nor those who worked righteous deeds. They disbelieved because either they substituted the religion of the Messiah [peace be upon him], belied him, or belied Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] in various affairs. The verses of the Qur’an (regarding this affair) are clear and many – transmitted in abundance and known by necessity in the Religion of Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him]. The most important media stations for Christian Zionism

There are numerous Christian Zionist media outlets, some of which are listed below:

[1] “CBN station”: It is owned by Christian Zionist Pat Robertson, the son of Willis Robertson, a former senator from Virginia. He was a Yale Law School graduate who employed over 1,300 people to run his aforementioned Christian television network. The network’s central management is situated on 697 acres in a Virginia Beach suburb worth $22 million, and the CBN firm includes CBN, the 700 Club, three television stations, a radio station, an international aid system, and a lobby group. This Christian Zionist channel collaborates with the Middle East Television channel, which transmits from Lebanon’s south. In early 1986, CBN began a half-hour daily news program called “C. with me. The Night News” which was presented in a Zionist-Christian format and the station had 27.3 million viewers. Pat Robertson’s station repeated the belief that the founding of Israel is a fulfilment of Biblical prophecies and a sign of the impending Battle of Armageddon and the Second Coming of Christ. He also stated that “God stands on the side of Israel and not on the side of the terrorist Arabs,” and he spoke of “the great evil that exists among the Arabs because they are enemies of Israel,” and he reiterated that the most important predictive event in our lives is Israel’s seizure of Jerusalem, which indicates the near end of the era of non-Jews. [Footnote a] He named his television and radio station “The Pat Robertson Foundation” to include other work and tasks.

[2] “Baton Rouge” in Louisiana: It is run by the fanatical Christian Zionist, Jimmy Swaggart. Based on data from “Nielsen Media Research”, it is the second most popular Christian Zionist television station. It is a targeted station that is viewed by 9.25 million households.

[3] “The Jim Bakker Show” is America’s third most popular Christian Zionist station. Its founder, Jim Bakker, was a student of Zionist Pat Robertson, and its programs reach approximately 6 million families. His station is lucrative and ranks eighteenth in the country. Annual financial resources are expected to be one hundred million dollars.

[4] “Oral Roberts Station”: He is a Christian Zionist whose programs reach approximately 5.77 families. His station concentrates on the interpretation of the Old Testament and linking it to the major events of the last ages.

[5] The “National Christian Company” was purchased by the Zionist priest Jerry Folwell and its name changed to “Daily Freedom Broadcasting”. It operates (or operated) from Leechburg, Virginia, and offers religious programming 24 hours a day. Its owner, Jerry Folwell, a close friend of former US President George H.W. Bush, frequently asserts through his station that “the re-establishment of Israel among fundamentalist Christians is a fulfillment of biblical prophecies, and every American must make every effort to ensure full support for Israel.” He also states that the Torah’s Book of Genesis declares that Israel’s borders will extend from the Euphrates to the Nile and that the promised territory will include Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, Jordan, and Kuwait. [6] The station of the Zionist priest Kenneth Copeland: He is a fanatic of the Dispensationalist sect, one of the sects of Christian Zionism. In his programs, which reach more than 4.92 million families, he often says “God established modern Israel. We are watching God’s move for Israel. It is a great time to start supporting our government as long as it supports Israel. It is a wonderful time to feel how connected we are to the roots of Abraham”. He also focuses his station’s broadcast on the Battle of Har-Megiddon, the return of Christ, and other principles of Christian Zionism. [Footnote c]

[7] Richard DeHaan’s Christian Zionist station had religious programs that transmitted the beliefs and principles of Zionism Christianity to over 4.75 million homes.

[8] Zionist station of Rex Humpard: He was one of the fanatics of the dispensationalist sect. His station’s broadcast reaches more than 3.7 million households. He used to repeat that “God knew from the very beginning that we the ones who live today will destroy the Earth.”

[9] “Voice of Hope” is a Christian Zionist station that was founded by George Otis, a friend of former US President Ronald Reagan. It is a radio station in southern Lebanon that was founded on September 9, 1979, with the collaboration and encouragement of the Jewish “Israeli” government after Israel invaded and occupied southern Lebanon in the summer of 1978. George Otis, the station’s (original) owner, spoke about Israel’s role in its establishment: “Israeli support was a miracle. Did you ever believe the day would arrive when the Jews wanted to establish a Christian station?!” After a few months, George Otis launched a visual station alongside his audio station, naming it “Star of Hope,” and it is sometimes referred to as “Middle East Television.” Pat Robertson, a Zionist pastor, later bought this station. According to reports, more than a hundred American Zionist Christians attended the March 17, 1989 opening ceremony of the new headquarters of the “Voice and Star of Hope” station in the presence of the commander of the Israeli occupation forces in southern Lebanon. Footnotes ‘a’, ‘b’, and ‘c’: Allah’s Messenger and what has been revealed to him are the authorities one must study in order to understand the subject of trials and tribulations before the end of time. As a result, one cannot return to the following matters: the narrations of the people of the (abrogated) Scriptures, opinions and dreams, weak and false narrations, analogy, and political, economic, or socialist analysis. That is because the narrations about the trials and tribulations, the signs of the Hour, and the strife that will occur are from the (affairs) of the Religion, and the Religion is Tawqeefee (i.e. its source can only be established from the divine texts of the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah). So, whatever is reported from the Prophet with authentic chains of transmission about (upcoming events) is necessary for a Muslim to believe, whether it appeals to the intellect or not, and this is the reality of one’s testimony that Muhammad is Allah’s Messenger.

Allah (The Most High) said:
وَمَا يَنْطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْيٌ يُوحَىٰ

Nor does he (Muhammad) speak of (his own) desire. It is only an Inspiration that is inspired.
[Surah an-Najm. Ayah 3]

And Allah (The Most High) said:
وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُو

And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad) gives you, take it, and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)].[Surah Al-Hashr. Ayah 7]

Umar [may Allah be pleased with him] reported: One day while we were sitting with Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] there appeared before us a man whose clothes were exceedingly white and whose hair was exceedingly black; no signs of journeying were to be seen on him and none of us knew him. He walked up and sat down by the prophet. Resting his knees against his and placing the palms of his hands on his thighs, he said: “O Muhammad, tell me about Islam”. The messenger of Allah said: “Islam is to testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, to perform the prayers, to pay the zakat, to fast in Ramadan, and to make the pilgrimage to the House if you are able to do so.” He said: “You have spoken rightly’’ And we were amazed at him asking him and saying that he had spoken rightly. He said: “Then tell me about Iman.” He said: ”It is to believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day, and to believe in divine destiny, both the good and the evil thereof.” He said: “You have spoken rightly”. He said: “Then tell me about Ihsan.” He said: “It is to worship Allah as though you are seeing Him, and while you see Him not yet truly He sees you”. He said: “Then tell me about the Hour”. He said: “The one questioned about it knows no better than the questioner.” He said: “Then tell me about its signs.” He said: “That the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress and that you will see the barefooted, naked, destitute herdsman competing in constructing lofty buildings.” Then he took himself off and I stayed for a time. Then he said: “O Umar, do you know who the questioner was?” I said: “Allah and His messenger know best”. He said: “He was Gibreel (Gabriel), who came to you to teach you your religion”. [Reported by Muslim. Kitaab al-Eemaan. Chapter: Imaan, Islaam and Ihsaan. Hadeeth Number: 8]

The testimony in this hadeeth is the statement of the Prophet, “He was Gibreel, who came to you to teach you your religion”. Therefore, the principle in the preceding hadeeth is that the Prophet asked a question concerning the Hour and its circumstances, and he established that it is something contained in religion. The trials and tribulations, circumstances, and strife associated with the (portents) of the Hour are from the religion, and it is not for anybody to speak about it based on their own (opinions, views, analysis, interpretations, etc.).” [4]

Abu Hurairah [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “The Hour will not be established till two big groups fight each other whereupon there will be a great number of casualties on both sides and they will be following one and the same path, till about thirty Dajjals (liars) appear and each one of them will claim that he is Allah’s Messenger, till religious knowledge is taken away (by the death of Religious scholars), earthquakes will increase in number; time will pass quickly, afflictions will appear, Al-Harj, (i.e., killing) will increase, till wealth will be in abundance – so abundant that a wealthy person will worry lest nobody should accept his Zakat, and whenever he will present it to someone, that person (to whom it will be offered) will say, ‘I am not in need of it, till the people compete with one another in constructing high buildings, till a man when passing by a grave of someone will say, ‘Would that I were in his place’ and till the sun rises from the West. So when the sun will rise and the people will see it (rising from the West) they will all believe (accept Islam) but that will be the time when: (as Allah said) [لاَ يَنْفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ، أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيمَانِهَا خَيْرًا – no good will it do to a person to believe then, if he believed not before, nor earned good (by performing deeds of righteousness) through his Faith]. And the Hour will be established while two men spreading a garment in front of them but they will not be able to sell it, nor fold it up, and Hour will be established when a man has milked his she-camel and has taken away the milk but he will not be able to drink it, and Hour will be established before a man repairing a tank (for his livestock) is able to water (his animals) in it, and Hour will be established when a person has raised a morsel (of food) to his mouth but will not be able to eat it.” [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari. Hadeeth Number 7121]

Abu Zaid -Amr Bin Akhtab [may Allah be pleased with him] reported: Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] led us in the dawn prayer and then mounted the pulpit and addressed us until it was (time for the) noon prayer. He then came down the pulpit and observed prayer and then again mounted the pulpit and again addressed us until it was time for the ‘Asr prayer. He then again came down and observed the prayer and again mounted the pulpit and addressed us until the sun was set and he informed (us about) everything (pertaining to turmoil) that lay hidden in the past and what lies in (the womb) of) the future and the most learned amongst us is one who remembers them well. [ Saheeh Muslim 2892]

Imaam Muslim said: Chapter: The Conquest Of Constantinople, The Emergence Of The Dajjal And The Descent Of ‘Isa Bin Maryam [peace be upon him]: Abu Hurairah [may Allah be pleased with him] reported that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said: The Last Hour would not come until the Romans would land at al-A’maq or in Dabiq. An army consisting of the best (soldiers) of the people of the earth at that time will come from Medina (to counteract them). When they will arrange themselves in ranks, the Romans would say: Do not stand between us and those (Muslims) who took prisoners from amongst us. Let us fight with them; and the Muslims would say: Nay, by Allah, we would never get aside from you and from our brethren that you may fight them. They will then fight and a third (part) of the army would run away, whom Allah will never forgive. A third (part of the army) which would be constituted of excellent martyrs in Allah’s eye, would be killed and the third who would never be put to trial would win and they would be conquerors of Constantinople. And as they would be busy distributing the spoils of war (amongst themselves) after hanging their swords by the olive trees, Satan would cry: The Dajjal has taken your place among your family. They would then come out, but it would be of no avail. And when they would come to Syria, he would come out while they would be still preparing themselves for battle drawing up the ranks. Certainly, the time of prayer shall come, and then Jesus (peace be upon him) son of Mary would descend and would lead them. When the enemy of Allah would see him, it would (disappear) just as the salt dissolves itself in water, and if he (Jesus) were not to confront them at all, even then it would dissolve completely, but Allah would kill them by his hand and he would show them their blood on his lance (the lance of Jesus Christ). [Saheeh Muslim. 2897]

Abu Hurairah [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “By Allah in Whose Hands my soul is, son of Mary (Jesus) will shortly descend amongst you people (Muslims) as a just ruler and will break the Cross and kill the pig and abolish the Jizya (a tax taken from the non-Muslims, who are in the protection, of the Muslim government). Then there will be an abundance of money and nobody will accept charitable gifts”. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari 2222]

Abu Hurairah [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “What would you do when the son of Mary would descend amongst you and would lead you as one amongst you? Ibn Abi Dhi’b on the authority of Abu Huraira narrated: Your leader amongst you. Ibn Abi Dhi’b said: Do you know what the words:” He would lead as one amongst you” mean? I said: Explain these to me. He said: He would lead you according to the Book of your: Lord (hallowed be He and most exalted) and the Sunnah of your Messenger”. [Saheeh Muslim 155]

Hudhaifah [may Allah be pleased with him] reported that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] stood before us one day and he did not leave anything unsaid (that he had to say) at that very spot which would happen (in the shape of turmoil) up to the Last Hour. Those who had to remember them preserved them in their minds and those who could not remember them forgot them. My friends knew them and there are certain things that slip out of my mind, but I recapitulate them when anyone makes a mention of them just as a person is lost from one’s mind but is recalled to him upon seeing his face. [Saheeh Muslim 2891]

Abu Hurairah [may Allah be pleased with him] reported that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said: The Last Hour would not come before the Euphrates uncovers a mountain of gold, for which people would fight. Ninety-nine out of each one hundred would die but every man amongst them would say that perhaps he would be the one who would be saved (and thus possess this gold). [Saheeh Muslim 2894]

The Beast:

Allah says:

وَإِذَا وَقَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَيۡہِمۡ أَخۡرَجۡنَا لَهُمۡ دَآبَّةً۬ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ تُكَلِّمُهُمۡ أَنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ كَانُواْ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا لَا يُوقِنُونَ

And when the Word (of torment) is fulfilled against them, We shall bring out from the earth a beast to them, which will speak to them because mankind believed not with certainty in Our Ayat (Verses of the Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad).

Imam As-Sadi [may Allah have mercy upon him] commented: Meaning, when the time comes for the warning, which Allah has decided; [أَخۡرَجۡنَا لَهُمۡ دَآبَّةً۬ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ – We shall bring out from the earth a beast to them] or one of the earth’s beasts, rather than the heavens. This beast [تُكَلِّمُهُمۡ – will speak to them]; Meaning, it would speak to the people about how they did not believe with certainty in Our (i.e. Allah’s) signs due to a lack of knowledge and certainty in Allah’s signs. So Allah will make this beast appear as one of His amazing signs to manifest to the people what they doubted. This beast is the well-known beast that will appear at the end of time, and it will be one of the (major) signs indicating the approach of the Day of Judgement, as mentioned in many Prophetic narrations. [5]

Abu Umaamah [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The beast will emerge and strike the people on their noses, then their numbers will increase among you until a man will buy a camel and they will say, ‘Who did you buy it from?’ and he will say, ‘I bought it from one of those with a mark on their noses’”. [Reported by Imaam Ahmad 22362 and declared authentic by Imaam Al Albaanee in As-Sisilah As-Saheehah. Number 322]

Anas [may Allah be pleased with him] reported that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “The Hour will not occur until ‘Allah, Allah’ is not said on earth.” [Saheeh Muslim 148]

Abu Hurairah [may Allah be pleased with him] said that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “When three things appear, faith will not benefit one who has not previously believed or has derived no good from his faith: the rising of the sun in its place of setting, the Dajjal, and the beast of the earth”. [Saheeh Muslim. Number 158]

Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allah have mercy upon him] as follows: “In the Qur’an and authentic Ahaadeeth there are numerous reports regarding that which will take place in the Dunyah and Aakhirah, and affairs that occurred perfectly after the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] spoke about them many years prior to their occurrence, such as his statement: ‘The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Turks; people with small eyes, red faces, and flat noses. Their faces will look like shields coated with leather. The Hour will not be established till you fight with people whose shoes are made of hair. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari. Number 2928]

Those amongst the Muslims – who saw and fought those Turks when their king Genghis Khan appeared, his children and grandchildren, such as Hulagu Khan and other than him amongst the disbelieving kings- could not describe them better than how the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] described them [i.e. even though he did not meet them]. He stated this 600 years prior to its occurrence. [6]

These authentic narrations transmitted from the final infallible Messenger are enough for anyone who is protected from superstition and conjecture. The events before the last day on Earth as transmitted in the authentic divine texts of the final religion are not based on Hypotheses, rather, anyone who believes this to be the case is a misguided fool. Allah [The Exalted] said:

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ ۖ وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا ۚ وَإِن يَرَوْا كُلَّ آيَةٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُوا بِهَا ۚ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءُوكَ يُجَادِلُونَكَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ هَـٰذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

And of them there are some who listen to you; but We have set veils on their hearts, so they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; if they see every one of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) they will not believe therein; to the point that when they come to you to argue with you, the disbelievers say: “These are nothing but tales of the men of old.” [Surah Al-An’aam. Ayah 25]

Footnote a: Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] stated regarding the callers to misguidance: “The Muslims must be cautious of these people. Indeed, they have become numerous in this era, and Allah knows best whether they will increase in the future. They may be facilitated with tools that were not possessed by the previous callers to misguidance and are given firm support through such tools, and this misguidance will rapidly reach the people. The suggestion of the seducer and the falsifier will be adorned and made to appear as something good to the people in any place, whilst it is something evil. This is the height of fitnah”. [7]

We ask Allah:
اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي

The Visible Church

Christian Zionism makes significant use of visual and audio broadcasting means to promote its principles and ideas and to reach as many people as possible through television programs and radio speeches. These methods are known as the electronic church, the “Visual Church”, or religion at prime time. The visual church and its programs have an impact since the majority of its viewers are adults aged forty and over, in particular. This age group comprises the largest and wealthiest electoral bloc in the United States of America, and hence it is of importance to competing politicians in various election campaigns. The fundamentalist church’s call and influence extended beyond the walls of its buildings to millions of people through television screens, satellites, and airwaves, where they preached, Christianized, guided, and educated on Zionist ideas that were meant to be conveyed to the people. The first person to use the term “visible church” was journalist Jim Montgomery in an article in the Wall Street Journal on May 19, 1978, and since that time this expression has been used. The percentage of viewers of the visual church, in statistics for the year 1985, amounted to something nearly 40% of television viewers in general.

Visible churches have substantial financial resources, but possibly most importantly, they rely on contributions from their members, watchers, and supporters. Because of this, the visual church has developed into a lucrative industry thanks to fund-raising efforts through show programs that address social, political, and artistic concerns rather than just religious preaching. As to the figures in 1985, the Christian Radio Network had approximately 233 million dollars in resources. To reach the greatest number of viewers and listeners, the network of visual church stations has grown significantly and is now spread among hundreds of radio and television stations in America. They don’t just broadcast their programs on the network of radio and television stations they own; instead, they buy time slots on other popular stations, pick the best ones to watch, and broadcast their programs enough times to draw in more listeners and viewers. As a result, the way Americans think and behave became greatly influenced by the visible church. Because of their significant and effective influence, this enormous intellectual source was called the Fifth Estate, while the press was called the Fourth Estate. Relevant statistics show that more than half of Americans watch one or more religious programs at least once a month. According to the Gallup Institute, 52 million Americans watched one or more video church programs on a monthly basis in 1981. In 1983, the number reached 60 million people. According to another estimate released by a religious radio organisation, the number of weekly viewers of the church’s video programs reached 25 million in 1984. Whatever the number, it is certain that the number of listeners and viewers of these programs, as well as those influenced by them, has grown rapidly, and the pioneers of these programs who have become its authors and presenters are “visible stars” in American daily life. The church’s video programs attract different ages of people, including children. According to one statistic, children watching the program “An Hour from the Old Gospel” by the Zionist pastor Jerry Folwell constituted 30% of its total viewers. According to a study conducted by a company specialising in radio and television statistics called Nelson Viewer Composition, viewers of church video programs are men, women, and children, and some of them may be better at attracting women than others. According to a 1980 poll conducted by Christianity Today magazine in collaboration with the Gallup Institute, 85% of watchers and listeners of visual churches became religious after previously not being so. This is because of the programs of Zionist evangelists, which implies that the capacities of these churches, both organisational and technical, are advanced and have a significant economic impact, as well as on their listeners and viewers.

The audio-visual church has helped the Christian Zionist doctrine spread further than its previous supporters and the church has succeeded in convincing many Americans that its ideas represent the majority of American public opinion, which are ideas and readings of contemporary political, economic, and social conditions in light of Old Testament texts. It evaluates the world and its events in light of the scriptures’ prophecies.  The majority of visible churches support Christian Zionist ideals and principles, as promoted by proponents of “fundamentalist Christianity.” As a result, the relationship of biblical prophecy to Israel, the second coming of Christ, the gathering of Jews in Palestine, the battle of Har Majdon, and other Zionist beliefs and ideas are central to these church programs, both visual and audible. These visual and audio programs likewise portray “Israel” as sacred based on what is mentioned in their Holy Bible. Especially in the Old Testament, this belief is usually reinforced through political pretexts offered by the speaker in the program supporting the Jewish state “Israel” as an implementation of the Lord’s word. The majority of church men have the ability to influence because they are specialists in the field of media and mass communication sciences, in addition to being familiar with theology, which increases the strength of the impact of their programs, especially since it goes beyond preaching, guidance, and education to consultations, personal and political relationships, social, and sometimes even physical therapy. Visual church programs are growing increasingly popular in the United States of America, and it is difficult to stop their growth. According to 1985 figures, the number of television network stations for the Visual Church surpassed 1,500. Religious radio stations were projected to number over 1,400, with each broadcasting roughly 17 hours per day – 37 of those programs were time for preaching and religious guidance and 12 for news and interviews. In recent years, their reliance on satellites to broadcast their programs has grown, and it is estimated that half of these stations use satellites. The National Religious Broadcasters Association, which is an association that includes more than 76% of the Christian Zionist television and radio stations in the United States of America and was founded in 1944, indicates in its statistics that it has a thousand television and radio stations involved in its activities, and it also estimates that the number of listeners to the radio stations and members reaches 115 million listeners weekly, and nearly 14 million people are members of visible churches. The Media

Without question, one of the most important and dangerous ways to utilise and propagate ideas is through the media, which influences a wide range of people, governments, society, and individuals, both inside and beyond the nation where the means of communication is used. The media, which includes newspapers, magazines, and audio-visual devices, transcends national boundaries, particularly in recent times. Whether through its inception, exploitation, or acquisition of intellectual and financial dominance, the two Zionist schools of thought shared control over a large number of media outlets. As a result, the media expanded and became a major tool of Zionist-Christian influence. There are news agencies that have control of the news released around the world, and it is well-known that news has a big impact on public opinion, both in terms of wording and content, and there are television and radio stations, as well as large media companies, that are controlled by Zionists.

Cinemas and film production companies have a great impact on transmitting Zionist ideas. Perhaps the lectures, seminars, and speeches related to guidance on various channels have a greater share of the Christian Zionists exploiting them to broadcast their principles. Articles, interviews, and analyses in newspapers and magazines have a clear impact on expressing and convincing people of what they want to convey. They can choose to spotlight a story by covering it extensively in newspapers and other media, or they can choose to hide and obfuscate it. [II] Propaganda Mediums. There is no doubt that the main news agencies are responsible for any media hype that attracts attention, mobilise supporters, and raises morale, while weakening enemies, and transferring the battle to a global atmosphere, in which there are opportunities for progress and resolution. Theodor Herzl said, “Hype is everything, and the truth is that hype leads to great actions”. [a] In the Zionist Protocols, it is stated that the Zionists must influence non-Zionist governments through public opinion, which they have created through the greatest force, namely the press, which is worthless except in exceptional cases and is within their reach. Al-Allaamah Muqbil Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated: Allah [Glorified and Exalted be He] said:

وَعَجِبُوٓاْ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٌ۬ مِّنۡہُمۡ‌ۖ وَقَالَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ هَـٰذَا سَـٰحِرٌ۬ كَذَّابٌ
أَجَعَلَ ٱلۡأَلِهَةَ إِلَـٰهً۬ا وَٲحِدًا‌ۖ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَشَىۡءٌ عُجَابٌ۬
وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِنۡہُمۡ أَنِ ٱمۡشُواْ وَٱصۡبِرُواْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمۡ‌ۖ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَشَىۡءٌ۬ يُرَادُ
مَا سَمِعۡنَا بِہَـٰذَا فِى ٱلۡمِلَّةِ ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ إِنۡ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا ٱخۡتِلَـٰقٌ
أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِنَا‌ۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ فِى شَكٍّ۬ مِّن ذِكۡرِى‌ۖ بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِ

And they wonder that a warner (Prophet Muhammad) has come to them from among themselves! And the disbelievers say, “This (Prophet Muhammad) is a sorcerer, a liar.  Has he made the aaliha (gods) (all) into One Ilaah (God – Allah). Verily, this is a curious thing!” And the leaders among them went about (saying), “Go on and remain constant to your aaliha (gods)! Verily, this is a thing designed (against you)! We have not heard (the like) of this among the people of these later days. This is nothing but an invention!  Has the Reminder been sent down to him (alone) from among us?” Nay! But they are in doubt about My Reminder (this Qur’an)! Nay, but they have not tasted (My) Torment! [Surah Saad. Ayaat 4-8]

So, you say to the Raafidah [Footnote a], “Indeed, it is shirk to invoke other than Allah with regards to seeking benefit and protection from harm in a matter which none can (fulfill) besides Allah.  It is not permissible to invoke Ali Ibn Abee Taalib [may Allah be pleased with him] or other than him amongst the dead [may Allah have mercy upon them] because Allah [The Mighty and Majestic] said:

وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِن قِطۡمِيرٍ
إِن تَدۡعُوهُمۡ لَا يَسۡمَعُواْ دُعَآءَكُمۡ وَلَوۡ سَمِعُواْ مَا ٱسۡتَجَابُواْ لَكُمۡۖ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَـٰمَةِ يَكۡفُرُونَ بِشِرۡڪِكُمۡۚ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثۡلُ خَبِيرٍ۬

And those, whom you invoke or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmeer (the thin membrane over the date stone).  If you invoke (or call upon) them, they hear not your call, and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it (your request) to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them. And none can inform you (O Muhammad) like Him Who is the All-Knower (of each and everything).  O mankind! it is you who stand in need of Allah, but Allah is Rich (Free of all wants and needs), Worthy of all praise. [Surah Faatir. Ayaat 13-14]

And Allah [Glorified be He and free is He from all imperfections] said:
وَمَنۡ أَضَلُّ مِمَّن يَدۡعُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَن لَّا يَسۡتَجِيبُ لَهُ ۥۤ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَـٰمَةِ وَهُمۡ عَن دُعَآٮِٕهِمۡ غَـٰفِلُونَ
وَإِذَا حُشِرَ ٱلنَّاسُ كَانُواْ لَهُمۡ أَعۡدَآءً۬ وَكَانُواْ بِعِبَادَتِہِمۡ كَـٰفِرِينَ

And who is more astray than one who calls (invokes) besides Allah, such as will not answer him till the Day of Resurrection, and who are (even) unaware of their calls (invocations) to them?  And when mankind are gathered (on the Day of Resurrection), they (false deities) will become enemies for them and will deny their worshipping.’ [Surah Al-Ahqaaf. Ayaat 5-6]

And Allah [Glorified be He and free is He from all imperfections] said:
وَمَن يَدۡعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ لَا بُرۡهَـٰنَ لَهُ ۥ بِهِۦ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُ ۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦۤ‌ۚ إِنَّهُ ۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ

And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allaah, any other ilaah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kaafiroon (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful.’ [Surah Al-Muminoon. Ayah 117]

And if you say, “Indeed others have joined them (i.e. the Mushrikoon) in this (affair”, so I say, “Whoever joins them in this (affair of shirk) is similar to them”.  [Footnote b]

Allah said:

وَلَا تَدۡعُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكَ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَ‌ۖ فَإِن فَعَلۡتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذً۬ا مِّنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
وَإِن يَمۡسَسۡكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ۬ فَلَا ڪَاشِفَ لَهُ ۥۤ إِلَّا هُوَ‌ۖ وَإِن يُرِدۡكَ بِخَيۡرٍ۬ فَلَا رَآدَّ لِفَضۡلِهِۦ‌ۚ يُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ‌ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

And invoke not besides Allah, any that will neither profit you, nor hurt you, but if (in case) you did so, you shall certainly be one of the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers).  And if Allaah touches you with hurt, there is none who can remove it but He; and if He intends any good for you, there is none who can repel His Favour which He causes it to reach whomsoever of His slaves He will. And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.’ [Surah Yunus. Ayah 106-107]

When you convey these verses and what is similar to them to the (Rawaafid), and then say to them, “Indeed, is it permissible to call upon the dead and seek deliverance and rescue from them?”  They (reply), “You are a Wahhaabi. You hate the family of the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]”. This is the same (affair) regarding the extreme Soofees when you say, “Indeed, the Awliyaa can neither benefit nor harm”, they say, “You hate the Awliyaa”. Indeed, mighty is the statement that comes out of the mouths of these two sects; they utter nothing but a lie! [1]

Footnote a: Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] was asked: Is it correct that the first to innovate the Madhab of the Raafidah was Abdullah Ibn Saba the Yahoodee? Response: Yes, without a doubt. The Raafidah or the Shiites in general are of two types: The Shiites from the fire worshippers and the Shiites from the Yahood. Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah preserve him] was asked: O Our Shaikh! The questioner says, “What is the ruling on the common people of the Rawaafid (shiites) and how do we deal with them?”

Answer: The questioner differentiates between the common people and those other than them. This is a good approach. The common people who neither speak ill of the wives of Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] nor do they make Takfeer of the Sahaabah [may Allah be pleased with them], nor do they believe that the Qur’an is distorted, but they have some Rafd [i.e. beliefs of the Raafidah] and some hatred for the Sahaabah without making Takfeer of them and what is similar; then these ones are misguided Mubtadi’ah and we do not declare them disbelievers. (But) whoever joins their heretics in pronouncing Takfeer against the companions of Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], speaking ill of the wives of the Messenger’s wives, and the filthy belief that the Qur’an has been distorted and that there is an addition and deficiency in it, then this (person) is a Kaafir similar to the disbelievers of the Yahood and Nasaaraa. There is no differentiation between their common people and their scholars (in this affair).

Question: How do we deal with them? Answer: If dealing with them is with regards to a worldly affair—business transactions and what is similar, it is permissible to trade with a Yahoodi, a Nasraani, and a Raafidee. However, as for co-operating with them in the affairs of religion, then never. [وَلَا تَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٲنِ‌ۚ -Do not help one another in sin and transgression]. Their scholars and callers are to be boycotted and warned against. [2]

أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ نَصِيبً۬ا مِّنَ ٱلۡڪِتَـٰبِ يُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَىٰ ڪِتَـٰبِ ٱللَّهِ لِيَحۡكُمَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّىٰ فَرِيقٌ۬ مِّنۡهُمۡ وَهُم مُّعۡرِضُونَ

ذَٲلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَالُواْ لَن تَمَسَّنَا ٱلنَّارُ إِلَّآ أَيَّامً۬ا مَّعۡدُودَٲتٍ۬‌ۖ وَغَرَّهُمۡ فِى دِينِهِم مَّا ڪَانُواْ يَفۡتَرُونَ

فَكَيۡفَ إِذَا جَمَعۡنَـٰهُمۡ لِيَوۡمٍ۬ لَّا رَيۡبَ فِيهِ وَوُفِّيَتۡ ڪُلُّ نَفۡسٍ۬ مَّا ڪَسَبَتۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ

Verily! Those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and kill the Prophets without right (i.e. the transgressors among Bani Israa’eel and not all of them), and kill those men who order just dealings, announce to them a painful torment. They are those whose works will be lost in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers. Have you not seen those who have been given a portion of the Scripture? They are being invited to the Book of Allah to settle their dispute, then a party of them turn away, and they are averse. This is because they say: “The Fire shall not touch us but for a number of days.” And that which they used to invent regarding their religion has deceived them. How (will it be) when We gather them together on the Day about which there is no doubt (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). And each person will be paid in full what he has earned? And they will not be dealt with unjustly. [Al-Imram. Ayaat 21-25]

Allah [The Exalted] stated:

وَإِذۡ قُلۡتُمۡ يَـٰمُوسَىٰ لَن نَّصۡبِرَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامٍ۬ وَٲحِدٍ۬ فَٱدۡعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخۡرِجۡ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ مِنۢ بَقۡلِهَا وَقِثَّآٮِٕهَا وَفُومِهَا وَعَدَسِہَا وَبَصَلِهَا‌ۖ قَالَ أَتَسۡتَبۡدِلُونَ ٱلَّذِى هُوَ أَدۡنَىٰ بِٱلَّذِى هُوَ خَيۡرٌ‌ۚ ٱهۡبِطُواْ مِصۡرً۬ا فَإِنَّ لَڪُم مَّا سَأَلۡتُمۡ‌ۗ وَضُرِبَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلذِّلَّةُ وَٱلۡمَسۡڪَنَةُ وَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍ۬ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ‌ۗ ذَٲلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ يَكۡفُرُونَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَقۡتُلُونَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ ‌ۗ ذَٲلِكَ بِمَا عَصَواْ وَّڪَانُواْ يَعۡتَدُونَ

And (remember) when you said, “O Musa (Moses)! We cannot endure one kind of food. So invoke your Lord for us to bring forth for us of what the earth grows, its herbs, its cucumbers, its Fum (wheat or garlic), its lentils, and its onions.” He said, “Would you exchange that which is better for that which is lower? Go you down to any town and you shall find what you want!” And they were covered with humiliation and misery, and they drew on themselves the Wrath of Allah. That was because they (i.e. the rebellious among them) used to disbelieve the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and killed the Prophets wrongfully. That was because they disobeyed and used to transgress the bounds (in their disobedience to Allah, i.e. commit crimes and sins). [Surah Al-Baqarah. Ayah 61]

Allah [The Exalted] says:

يَسۡـَٔلُكَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ أَن تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيۡہِمۡ كِتَـٰبً۬ا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ‌ۚ فَقَدۡ سَأَلُواْ مُوسَىٰٓ أَكۡبَرَ مِن ذَٲلِكَ فَقَالُوٓاْ أَرِنَا ٱللَّهَ جَهۡرَةً۬ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُ بِظُلۡمِهِمۡ‌ۚ ثُمَّ ٱتَّخَذُواْ ٱلۡعِجۡلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَتۡهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَـٰتُ فَعَفَوۡنَا عَن ذَٲلِكَ‌ۚ وَءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَىٰ سُلۡطَـٰنً۬ا مُّبِينً۬ا
وَرَفَعۡنَا فَوۡقَهُمُ ٱلطُّورَ بِمِيثَـٰقِهِمۡ وَقُلۡنَا لَهُمُ ٱدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡبَابَ سُجَّدً۬ا وَقُلۡنَا لَهُمۡ لَا تَعۡدُواْ فِى ٱلسَّبۡتِ وَأَخَذۡنَا مِنۡہُم مِّيثَـٰقًا غَلِيظً۬ا
فَبِمَا نَقۡضِہِم مِّيثَـٰقَهُمۡ وَكُفۡرِهِم بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَتۡلِهِمُ ٱلۡأَنۢبِيَآءَ بِغَيۡرِ حَقٍّ۬ وَقَوۡلِهِمۡ قُلُوبُنَا غُلۡفُۢ‌ۚ بَلۡ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡہَا بِكُفۡرِهِمۡ فَلَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلاً۬
وَبِكُفۡرِهِمۡ وَقَوۡلِهِمۡ عَلَىٰ مَرۡيَمَ بُہۡتَـٰنًا عَظِيمً۬ا
وَقَوۡلِهِمۡ إِنَّا قَتَلۡنَا ٱلۡمَسِيحَ عِيسَى ٱبۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَـٰكِن شُبِّهَ لَهُمۡ‌ۚ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ لَفِى شَكٍّ۬ مِّنۡهُ‌ۚ مَا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍ إِلَّا ٱتِّبَاعَ ٱلظَّنِّ‌ۚ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَقِينَۢا
بَل رَّفَعَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيۡهِ‌ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمً۬ا

The people of the Scripture ask you to cause a book to descend upon them from heaven. Indeed they asked Musa (Moses) for even greater than that when they said: “Show us Allah in public,” but they were struck with thunderclaps and lightning for their wickedness. Then they worshipped the calf even after clear proofs, evidences, and signs had come to them. (Even) so We forgave them. And We gave Musa (Moses) a clear proof of authority. And for their covenant, We raised over them the Mount and (on the other occasion) We said: “Enter the gate prostrating (or bowing) with humility;” and We commanded them: “Transgress not (by doing worldly works on) the Sabbath (Saturday).” And We took from them a firm covenant. Because of their breaking the covenant (i.e. the transgressors among them), and of their rejecting the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, and of their killing the Prophets unjustly, and of their saying: “Our hearts are wrapped (with coverings, i.e. we do not understand what the Messengers say)” – nay, Allah has set a seal upon their hearts because of their disbelief, so they believe not but a little. And because of their disbelief and uttering against Maryam (Mary) a grave false charge (that she has committed illegal sexual intercourse); and because of their saying (in boast), “We killed Messiah ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah,” – but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of ‘Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)]: But Allah raised him [‘Iesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise. [Surah Al-Nisaa. Ayaat 153-158]

Allah [The Exalted] said:

وَإِذۡ أَخَذۡنَا مِيثَـٰقَكُمۡ لَا تَسۡفِكُونَ دِمَآءَكُمۡ وَلَا تُخۡرِجُونَ أَنفُسَكُم مِّن دِيَـٰرِكُمۡ ثُمَّ أَقۡرَرۡتُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ تَشۡہَدُونَ
ثُمَّ أَنتُمۡ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ تَقۡتُلُونَ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَتُخۡرِجُونَ فَرِيقً۬ا مِّنكُم مِّن دِيَـٰرِهِمۡ تَظَـٰهَرُونَ عَلَيۡهِم بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٲنِ وَإِن يَأۡتُوكُمۡ أُسَـٰرَىٰ تُفَـٰدُوهُمۡ وَهُوَ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَيۡڪُمۡ إِخۡرَاجُهُمۡ‌ۚ أَفَتُؤۡمِنُونَ بِبَعۡضِ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ وَتَكۡفُرُونَ بِبَعۡضٍ۬‌ۚ فَمَا جَزَآءُ مَن يَفۡعَلُ ذَٲلِكَ مِنڪُمۡ إِلَّا خِزۡىٌ۬ فِى ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا‌ۖ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَـٰمَةِ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَشَدِّ ٱلۡعَذَابِ‌ۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَـٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ
أُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشۡتَرَوُاْ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِٱلۡأَخِرَةِ‌ۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنۡہُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ

And (remember) when We took your covenant (saying): Shed not the blood of your people, nor turn out your own people from their dwellings. Then, (this) you ratified and (to this) you bear witness. After this, it is you who kill one another and drive out a party of you from their homes, assist (their enemies) against them, in sin and transgression. And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them, although their expulsion was forbidden to you. Then do you believe in a part of the Scripture and reject the rest? Then what is the recompense of those who do so among you, except disgrace in the life of this world, and on the Day of Resurrection they shall be consigned to the most grievous torment. And Allah is not unaware of what you do. Those are they who have bought the life of this world at the price of the Hereafter. Their torment shall not be lightened nor shall they be helped. [Surah Al-Baqarah. Ayaat 84-86]

This deed mentioned in the Ayah was that of those who were in Madina at the time of revelation. Al-Aws and Al-Khazraj – who became the Ansar (after accepting Islam) – were polytheists before the advent of the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]. They used to fight according to the pre-Islamic custom, so the three (specific) Jewish groups came to them: Banu Quradha, Banu Al-Nadir, and Banu Al-Qaynuqa. Each group allied with a group of the people of Madina, so when they fought, a Jew would help his ally against the fighters who were supported by the other group of Jews, and a Jew would kill another Jew and expel him from his home when expulsion and plunder occurred. Then, when the battle ended, and both groups held captives against each group, they demanded ransom from each other. So, three matters were obligated to them: neither shed one another’s blood nor expel one another, and If they find a prisoner of their own, they must ransom him. So, they did the last and abandon the first, but Allah declared His rejection against them, saying: [أَفَتُؤۡمِنُونَ بِبَعۡضِ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ وَتَكۡفُرُونَ بِبَعۡضٍ۬‌ۚ – Then do you believe in a part of the Scripture and reject the rest?]- Meaning, (You believe in) freeing the captive by paying the ransom, but you kill and expel people from their homes. This Ayah contains the greatest evidence that Iman requires following commands and avoiding prohibitions and that commands are part of Iman. Allah said:

فَمَا جَزَآءُ مَن يَفۡعَلُ ذَٲلِكَ مِنڪُمۡ إِلَّا خِزۡىٌ۬ فِى ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا‌ۖ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَـٰمَةِ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَشَدِّ ٱلۡعَذَابِ‌ۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَـٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ

Then what is the recompense of those who do so among you, except disgrace in the life of this world, and on the Day of Resurrection they shall be consigned to the most grievous torment. And Allah is not unaware of what you do. [1]

 

Ahlul Bidah among the Muslims are also initiators of evil and bloodshed

Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) stated: The wars that take place between the Muslims and the splitting are only brought about by the people of desires, such as the Khawaarij, the Mutazilah, and other than them! The people of desires are the ones who cause the fitnah—the Mutazilah, the khawaarij, the Rawaafid (Shiites) and other than them. Fitnah does not occur except from them and as a result of them. Who murdered Uthmaan (may Allah be pleased with him)? Who murdered Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)? Who were the ones that ignited the fitnah between the Muslims thereafter? It was none else other than those people of desires. Who misled Al-Mamoon and those rulers who came after him to put Ahlus Sunnah to trial, until their Imaam Ahmad Bin Hanbal (may Allah have mercy upon him) was beaten and imprisoned? It was none else other than the people of desires. Who brought about the imprisonment of Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy upon him) until he died in prison? It was none else other than those people of desires! It is upon us to be cautious of these people because the end result of their fitnah leads to the splitting of the unity of the Muslims, rebellion against the Muslim rulers, and splitting the Jamaa’ahof the Muslims so that they become divergent groups and parties, which is the opposite of being one united Ummah. The Dangerous Consequences of Bloodshed

Allah [The Exalted] said:

وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا * يُضَاعَفْ لَهُ الْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِ مُهَانًا * إِلَّا مَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا فَأُولَئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ حَسَنَاتٍ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا

And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace; Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [Surah Al-Furqaan. Aayaat 68-70]

Allah [The Most High] said:
وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا

And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein, and the Wrath and the Curse of Allah are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him. [Surah An-Nisaa. Aayah 93]

Ibn Abbaas [may Allaah be pleased with him and his father] reported that the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The one who was murdered will come with the scalp and head of his killer in his hand on the Day of Resurrection, his jugular vein flowing with blood and saying, ‘O Lord! This one killed me!’ And he will draw near to the Throne.” They (i.e. the people) mentioned repentance to Ibn Abbaas, so he recited the Aayah, [وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ – Whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell]; then he said, “This Aayah has not been abrogated or replaced, so where is his repentance?” [Saheeh Sunan At-Tirmidhee 3029]

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “And that which is established with fact regarding this matter is that murder is attached to (violation) of three rights: the right of Allaah, the right of the victim and the right of the heir. If the muderer voluntarily hands over himself to the heir, shows remorse for what he has done out of fear of Allaah and repents sincerely, then Allaah’s right is waivered through repentance. And heir’s right is that he can seek retaliation (i.e. via the Islamic sharee’ah), reconciliation or he (or she) can pardon. Then what remains is the victim’s right, (which) Allaah will recompense for him on the Day of Judgement from His servant who is a repentant person and a good-doer, and rectify affairs between them, so neither the right of the victim nor the repentance of the murderer is nullified”. [Jawaab Al-Kaafee. page 102]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:
مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا

If anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land – it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. [Surah Al-Maa’idah. Ayah 32]

Imaam As-Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: If a person is bold enough to kill someone who does not deserve to be killed, then this implies that he does make a distinction between the one He killed and other than him; rather he would commit this act whenever his evil calls him to that. Therefore, his bold attitude that led him to kill is as if he had killed all humankind. On the other hand, if a person saves a life and does not kill – whilst his soul calls him to do so – due to fear of Allaah, then this is as if he has saved the lives of all humankind because the fear of Allaah he possesses stops him killing one who does not deserve to be killed. Abdullah Bin Mas’ood [may Allaah be pleased with him] said that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The first (thing) that will be decided among people on the Day of Judgment will pertain to bloodshed”. [Saheeh Muslim. Hadeeth Number 1678a]

Imaam An-Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “This hadith shows the severeness of bloodshed and that it will be the first thing that will be judged between people on the Day of Resurrection because of its greatness and extreme danger. This hadith does not contradict the well-known hadith in the Sunan that “The first thing a person will be questioned about is the prayer”, because this hadeeth is about an affair between Allaah and the person, whereas the first hadeeth (i.e. judgement in matters related to bloodshed) is an affair between the people”. [Sharh Saheeh Muslim. Vol 11. page 139]

The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The termination of the world means less to Allah than the killing of a Muslim (i.e. without right)”. [Saheeh Al-Jaami 9208]

Amr Ibn Al-Hamiq [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Whenever a man promises safety for another man’s life and then kills him, I disavow myself from him even if the victim was an unbeliever”. [Saheeh Al-Jaami 6103]

Uqbah Ibn Aamir [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Whoever meets Allah whilst neither associating anything with Him nor spilling sacred blood will enter Paradise”. [Silsilah As-Saheehah 2923]

The people said to Jundub [may Allaah be pleased with him], “Advise us”. He said, “The first thing of the human body to putrefy is the abdomen, so he who can eat nothing but good food [halaal and earned lawfully] should do so, and he who does as much as he can that nothing intervenes between him and paradise by not shedding even a handful of blood [i.e. unlawful killing], should do so”. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari 7152]

A man wrote to Ibn Umar [may Allaah be pleased with him and his father] and asked him to write down all knowledge for him; so he replied to him, saying, “Indeed, knowledge is plentiful, but if you are able to meet Allaah whilst not shedding people’s blood, not taking their wealth (unlawfully) and violating their honour, then do so”. [Siyar A’laam An-Nubulaa 3/222]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Anas Bin Malik [may Allah be pleased with him] said, I was sitting with Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] and a man was offering prayer. He then made supplication:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ الْمَنَّانُ بَدِيعُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ يَا ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ يَا حَىُّ يَا قَيُّومُ

“O Allah, I ask You by virtue of the fact that (all) praise is due to You, there is no deity worthy of worship, except You, The Beneficent Bestower of Bounties. The One such that all favors and blessings originate from Him. Al-Mannaan (The One Who granted them and favored the creation with them). (a) The Originator of the Heavens and the Earth, the Owner of Majesty and Honour. Muhammad Abdur-Razzaaq stated:

Imaam Ahmad [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated in a letter to the Khaleefah Al-Mutawakkil [may Allah have mercy upon him], “Among other things, it is not permissible to seek the aid and assistance of Ahlul Bid’ah Wal-Ahwaa [the people of Bidah and vain desires] in anything regarding the affairs of the Muslims because that is of greater harm upon the religion”. [1]

We ask Muhammad: Is there anything that a supporter of bid’ah would accomplish that the Scholars of Sunnah of our time haven’t already done, whether through their speech, publications, refutations, or the clarifications of their upright students in the East and the West?! In addition to the fact that this person still upholds his bid’ah, does Islam need a proponent of bid’ah to defend anything on its behalf?! Is it not more important for a proponent of Bid’ah in the East or West to give up his Bid’ah than to refute the Kuffaar, which has been done for many years and is still being done by upright people of Sunnah?! Can Muhammad guarantee that applauding any proponent of Bidah will not garner him more esteem and make the people more inclined towards him, making him a greater trial and evil for the common people and those duped by him?!

Imam Ash-Shaatibee [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: “Indeed, showing reverence to a person of Bid’ah is the basis of two corruptions that lead to the destruction of Islam. One of them is that the ignorant and the common people will pay attention to that reverence, and believe that the Mubtadi is the best of people and that what he is doing is better than what others are doing, so this leads them to follow him in his Bida’ah and not follow Ahlus Sunnah in their adherence to Sunnah. The second affair is that if he is shown reverence due to his Bid’ah, this would become like the spur for him to initiate Bid’ah in everything. And whatever the case may be, Bida’ah will become alive and the Sunan dies, which is the destruction of Islam itself”. [2]

Finally, Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali [may Allah preserve him] stated: Being mindful of Ahlul Bid’ah, having hatred for them, boycotting and cutting them off is the correct path of protection of Ahlus Sunnah against falling into their Fitnah. Being lackadaisical about them, having a good suspicion of them, and inclining towards them is the beginning of the path of misguidance and deviation.

وَلَا تَرۡكَنُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ فَتَمَسَّكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ

And incline not toward those who do wrong, lest the fire should touch you.
Surah Hud. Ayah 113

Who is more unjust than Ahlul Bid’ah? Ahlul Bid’ah are more evil than the sinners and the disobedient, and for that reason, the Jusrist of Basra and the most intelligent of them Salaam Bin Abee Mutee [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “It is more beloved to me that I meet Allah with Hajjaaj’s scroll of (deeds in the Hereafter) than meet Him with Amr Bin Ubaid’s”. Amr Bin Ubaid was a Zaahid and a worshipper Maashaa-Allaah, but he was a Mubtadi and a misguided one, and Hajjaaj was an evil-doer, a shedder of blood, and a criminal. He [Salaam Bin Abee Mutee] held that if he were to make a choice between meeting Allah with Hajjaaj’s scroll and that of Amr Bin Ubaid, he would choose to meet Allah with Hajjaaj’s -the bloodshedder and oppressive evil doer. And why is this? Due to his realisation of the danger and ugliness of bid’ah. And it is enough for us that the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] described (bidah) in his khutbah as the worst of all affairs, as reported in the Hadeeth of Jaabir [may Allah be pleased with him]. [3]

Question to Muhammad: We are all aware that Zuhd and commitment to worship are virtues adored by the Ummah, and those who possess these outstanding traits are held in high regard; therefore, why did Salaam Bin Abee Mutee regard the Mubtadi’ah in such a way that a Zaahid and dedicated worshipper was not honoured in his eyes?! The answer is very clear for everyone to see.

[11.1] Abu Makkah’s Companion Opens a Can of Worms

Muhammad Abdur-Razzaaq stated:

First, if what is intended in Muhammad’s statement is someone who has bidah, but he deserves an excuse based on what the upright people of knowledge – those who are well-acquainted with his affair – know about him in detail, as well as the fact that the clear proofs have not been established against him, then indeed, here is what is said about such a person: “Someone who was from Ahlus-Sunnah, well known for seeking the truth but he fell into a subtle bid‘ah. So if this person dies, then it is not permitted to make tabdī’ of him, rather he is mentioned with good. And if he is alive, he is advised and the truth is made clear to him, and one does not hasten to make tabdī’ of him, but if he persists [upon innovation], then he is declared an innovator. Shaikhul-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah, died 728H) stated: “There are many from the Mujtahidīn (Scholars) of the Salaf and of later times who spoke with and acted upon innovation whilst not knowing it to be an innovation. This was either due to weak ahadīth that they thought were authentic, or Quranic Verses they understood in an incorrect manner, or due to an opinion one would hold in an issue because the texts had not reached him. So if a man fears his Lord to the best of his ability, he enters into the saying of Allāh: “Our Lord, do not take us to account if we are forgetful or mistaken.” And there occurs in a hadīth that Allāh stated [in response]: “I have done so.” And this matter has been explained in another place”. [1]

Second, if what is intended in Muhammad’s statement is one who is not known to be from Ahlus Sunnah as well as the fact that he is a caller to Bidah and he has no excuse, then indeed, the affair is even more serious.

Third, if what is intended is an ignorant person, then indeed, everyone knows that such a one should be reminded that some of the Scholars stated “Silence beautifies the Scholar and conceals the ignorance of the ignoramus”.

However, regardless of who this person may be, the first, the second, or the third, it is not allowed to mention the people of Bidah with praise. Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] said: “It is not permissible to exalt and praise the proponents of Bidah even if they have some truth with them. That is because raising and praising them will spread their bidah and place them amongst the sincere ones who are taken as examples amongst distinguished men of this Ummah. The proponents of Bidah must be warned against and shunned even if they have some truth with them. Indeed, the most astray are not devoid of some truth, but as long as they have Bidah with them and sinful views, it is not permissible to praise and exalt them. It is impermissible not to have an objection against their Bidah because this spreads bidah, belittles the Sunnah and by way of this, the Mubtadi will emerge and become a guide for the Ummah. As for the consideration that the Mubtadi has some truth, this does not justify praising him. This -to a far greater extent- is against what is of overriding benefit, and it is known based on a principle in the religion that preventing harm takes precedence over seeking that which is of benefit. With regard to having hatred for the Mubtadi, the harm that is repelled from the Ummah is weightier than the benefit possessed by the Mubtadi. And had we adhered to this [praising an innovator because he has some truth with him], then no one would have been judged to be misguided and declared a Mubtadi because there is not a Mubtadi except that he has some truth and adherence to the Sunnah. The Mubtadi may neither be a disbeliever nor in opposition to all the Islamic legislation; rather he is either a Mubtadi in some or most of the affairs. (Footnote a) However, if the Bidah is particularly related to affairs of Creed and Methodology, then it is dangerous indeed because it will become an example (to be followed), Bidah will spread and the Mubtadi’ah will become active in spreading their Bidah. Therefore, this person who praises Mubtadi’ah and makes their affair obscure to the people -due to some truth they have – is one of two: either one ignorant of the methodology of the pious predecessors and their stance against the Mubtadi’ah, and it is neither permissible for this ignorant one to speak nor is it permissible for the Muslims to listen to him; or he is one who has an objection to the truth because he knows the danger of Bidah and the Mubtadi’ah, but he wishes to spread Bidah. Nevertheless, this is a dangerous affair and it is not permissible to be lackadaisical with regard to Bidah and its adherents whatever that may be. [2]

Finally, Muhammad has not made it known the specific individual intended in his statement so that the affair of such one is scrutinised based on what the upright Scholars or elder students of knowledge know about him in detail.

Abu Qilaabah said, “May Allaah fight the poet [an expression of amazement in Arabic] who said: Do not ask about a man, but ask about his companion. For every person guides himself by his companion. This poetry is by Adee bin Zaid, and al-Asma’ee said about it, “I have never seen a line of poetry which resembles the Sunnah more than this saying of Adee bin Zaid.” Al-Ibaanah (2/439)

Abu Hurairah – radiallaahu anhu – said, the Messenger of Allaah said, “A person is upon the deen of his friend, so let each one of you look at whom he befriends.” Saheeh. Refer to Silsilah as-Saheehah of al-Albaani (no.927)

Ibn Mas’ood – radiallaahu anhu – said, “Indeed a person walks alongside and accompanies the one whom he loves and who is like him.” Al-Ibaanah (2/476)

Abu ad-Dardaa – radiallaahu anhu – said, “It is from the fiqh (understanding of a person) that he [chooses] those whom he walks with, whom he enters upon (visits) and whom he sits with.” Al-Ibaanah (2/477)

Imaam Al-Awzaa’ee said, “Whoever hides his innovation from us will not be able to hide his companionship from us.” Al-Ibaanah (2/476)

Al-A’mash said, “They (the Salaf) did not used to ask anything more about a person after having asked about three affairs: Who he walks with, who he enters upon (i.e. visits) and who he associates with amongst the people.” Al-Ibaanah (2/478)

Abdullaah bin Mas’ood -radiallaahu anhu – said, “Make consideration of the (regions of the) Earth by the names given to them and make consideration of a person by his companion.” Al-Ibaanah (2/479)

Muhammad bin Ubaid al-Ghulaabee said, “The Ahl ul-Ahwaa (People of Desires) hide everything except their intimate friendship and companionship.” Al-Ibaanah (2/482)

Mu’aadh bin Mu’aadh said to Yahyaa bin Sa’eed, “O Abu Sa’eed! A person may hide his viewpoint from us, but he will not be able to hide that in his son, or his friend or in the one whom he sits with.” Al-Ibaanah (2/437)

Ibn Awn said, “Those who sit with the People of Innovation are more severe upon us than the People of Innovation themselves.” Al-Ibaanah (2/273). [3]

Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillah Al-Jaabiri [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “If a person’s affair is hidden from you, the one whose books and cassettes are well-known and whose popularity is widespread, then ask those who are well acquainted with him and his situation. Neither the Sunnah nor its adherents are hidden, and a man’s Tazkiyah is his own deeds – his Tazkiyah is his own deeds that he is an adherent to the Sunnah. It is the witness, and people refer to him with it both during his life and after his death”. [4]

Footnote a: Bidah Al-Mukaffirah and Bidah Al-Mufassiqah:

Bidah Al-Mukaffirah: It is the Bidah that is tantamount to disbelief. Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali (may Allaah preserve him) was asked whether there is a difference between Bidah Al-Mukaffirah and Bidah Al-Mufassiqah; so Shaikh said that there is Bidah Mukaffirah, such as rejecting the Ruyah (i.e. denying that the believers will see Allaah in the afterlife); rejecting Allaah’s Uluww [i.e. denying that Allaah is above his creation –Allaah ascended over the Throne in a way that benefits his majesty)]; invoking other than Allaah; offering slaughtered sacrifice (i.e. animals) to other than Allaah etc. These are affairs of Bidah Al-Mukaffirah (the bidah that is tantamount to disbelief).

But we do not make Takfeer of the people who commit this type of Bidah until we establish the proof against them. That is because some of them (i.e. the people who fall into these affairs) carry doubts and are far away from the era of Prophethood and its light (i.e. guidance). So they fall into the likes of these innovations.

Rejecting the Ruyah is disbelief; rejecting Allaah’s Uluww is disbelief; the saying that the Qur’an is created is disbelief-major disbelief. But this person, -[who testifies that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allaah, and he prays, observes fasting, wants paradise and believes in that] -received the doubts of the people of falsehood, so he falls into the likes of these affairs (i.e. these innovations that are tantamount to disbelief). So we say to him: You have fallen into disbelief and the evidence is this and this, and we clarify for him. So if Allaah grants him Tawfeeq and he returns to the truth, then all praise is due to Allaah. But if not, we declare him a disbeliever after establishing the proofs against him.

The questioner asked Imaam Al-Albaani about migration and the issue of Palestine – [Part 3]

The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said: “Indeed, the scholars are the inheritors of the prophets, for the prophets do not leave behind a dinar or a dirham for inheritance, but rather, they leave behind knowledge. So whoever takes hold of it, has acquired a large share (i.e. of inheritance)”. [Sunan At-Tirmidhee 2682]

The Conversation Begins

Questioner: But is the issue of (jihad and intention) not required – at present – that all Muslims perform Jihad even in Palestine- inside Palestine?

The Shaikh: This question is also completely on my side. Who is performing jihad? O, my brother! You do not know your situation here. Do you not know that the Yahood at present made it forbidden by (their) law for Muslims to fight (on behalf of the Palestinians)?

Questioner: Yes, well known.

The Shaikh: Then why do you ignore the real state of affairs?

Questioner: I do not want to ignore (the real state of affairs).

The Shaikh: You say that it is not obligatory, but there is Jihad and intention. Now we must take a position: is Jihad to be performed based on the excitement of a person, (one with) neither with a state nor is he a ruler, nor is he a soldier, but rather an excited young man? Is this Jihad in the path of Allah? Allah [The Exalted] said:

و أعدّوا لهم ما استطعتم من قوة و من رباط الخيل ترهبون به عدو الله و عدوّكم

And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war to threaten the enemy of Allah and your enemy. [Surah Al-Anfaal. Ayah 60]

This address, first of all, is to whom? We presented this research in several audio tapes. Is the statement “Make ready” an address to the believers? Where are the believers? Those who consume usury, turn their backs on one another, argue with each other, and engage in illegal partisanship – each party rejoicing with what they have?! We must look at the issue fundamentally, where do we start? Do we start with Jihaad? Who is performing the Jihaad?

Questioner: “Those who believed and migrated and strove (hard and fought in Allah’s Cause).

The Shaikh: Where are they?
Questioner: The first thing is Imaan, then migration.

The Shaikh: This is it, so we begin with Imaan. We begin with Imaan, may Allah bless you. Do not reflect on the conclusion, (which is) to strive (in Allah’s Cause). Jihaad begins when the souls are prepared for jihad for the sake of Allah. The Messenger [peace be upon him] said, “The Mujaahid is he who strives against his (vain) desires for the sake of Allah”. Are Muslims today striving against their (vain) desires – for the sake of Allah – whilst sinful behaviour is rife, immorality, women unveiling, dealing in usury, etc.? Therefore, we have two terms that must be fulfilled: Tasfiyah [purification of the beliefs, methodology, texts, etc] and Tarbiyah [nurture and educate ourselves upon this pure path]. Today’s Muslims do not understand Islam correctly, starting with knowing who Allah is. They do not know Allah in the manner He made Himself known in His Book (the Qur’an) and the hadith of His Prophet. They do not know their Prophet, that is, his rulings, his Sunnah, and so on. Therefore, we are very far from Jihaad, the (true) Jihad (to be performed) against the (hostile) unbelievers. And before I miss this (comment), do you think that the Yahood will be expelled by the people of Palestine, and we see – regarding the people of Palestine – every day that a group is slaughtered like lambs while the government forces are watching? It is not these (one who will defeat the oppressive Yahood), but when Muslims return to their religion and nurture themselves correctly- nurtured upon Imaan, and ready militarily because Allah says: “And make ready”. Who is this addressed to?

Questioner: The believers.

The Shaikh: It is addressed to the believers to “Make ready against them (i.e. the enemies) all you can of power”. Are we able – today- to make ready (against them weaponry) even if we are believers? (i.e. due to the fact that the Ummah needs to return to complete obedience to Allah and His Messenger first and foremost). [Footnote a]

Questioner: No.

The Shaikh: So, let us try to establish what we are able to do, and that is to be believers; believe in what is stated in the Qur’an and the Sunnah, and act according to what is stated in the Qur’an and the Sunnah based on our ability. I say on many occasions like this that many young people who are now excited have channeled their efforts toward Jihaad against their Muslim rulers. Those who are called Jamaa’ah At-Takfeer, for example, want to fight the Muslim rulers. My beloved brother, fight against yourself before everything else. You forget yourself and fight others?!

Questioner: Hizbut-Tahrir. [Footnote b]

The Shaikh: Hizb ut-Tahrir, Jamaa’ah At-takfeer Wal-Hijrah in Egypt, and so on. What I intend to say is that these people forget themselves and become preoccupied with their rulers, while the opposite (of what they abandon) is the correct thing. What did Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] first start with? He began by calling people to testify that “There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah”. Those who – at present – want to strive against the rulers have not started from where the Messenger [peace and blessings be upon him] started. Due to this, there is no benefit in researching, arguing, partisanship, and gathering if it is not what Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings be upon him] followed. And with regards to us, it has been a period of 15 centuries between us and the Messenger, so we must (adopt) Tasfiyah and Tarbiyah. At present if you ask a question we consider to be one that we have received from our Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] when he asked the slave girl: Where is Allah? Ask the Muslims today (i.e. many of the deviated sects), and they will tell you that Allah is everywhere, etc. [Footnote c]

Questioner: God forbid.

The Shaikh: You and I say, “God forbid”, and praise be to Allah that Allah has guided us, but those with whom you will perform Jihaad and fight alongside with will fight you because you say this statement, if only you knew! Therefore, may Allah bless you, migration is obligatory for everyone who is able, and this is a must for him. This is a Shariah ruling, (but) as for one who is not able, Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear.

Questioner: We make it brief, InShaaAllah. The man will tell you that the meaning of this (statement of yours) is that “We abandon the land of Palestine to the Yahood to wreak havoc and have fun in it as they please”.

The Shaikh: Is it better than we abandon ourselves to the Yahood like sheep (to be slaughtered)? O, my brother! May Allah bless you. One of the Islamic principles is that if a Muslim is faced with two evils, he chooses the lesser of them.

Questioner: May Allah bless you.

The Shaikh: This is the first affair, and secondly, it cannot be imagined that the statement of truth will be embraced by every Muslim, and If that were the case, you would not have found this delay (in education and cultivation, true Jihaad, etc)

و سبحانك اللهم و بحمدك أشهد ألا إله إلا أنت أستغفرك و أتوب إليك
