[1] Shaikh Ubaid Unveiled the Falsehood of The Fraudulent Claimants to Salafiyyah and Proponents of Tamyee- Those attempting (once again) to Utilise ‘Rifqan Ahlus Sunnah Bi-Ahlis Sunnah’ to defend Mubtadia

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

This was a clarification by Shaykh Ubayd (may Allaah preserve him), which was a quick translation by the elder brothers and students at Salafipublications (may Allaah preserve them). You can access the audio directly from this link:

http://safeshare.tv/w/cOLObITEbR

Shaikh Ubaid stated:

I have not read the book of Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin.

I know from experience that Ahl ul-Ahwaa take whatever chance they can from some of the affairs that arise from some of Ahl us-Sunnah, then they twist it for their own benefits whereas it is not really of benefit to them.

Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin, according to the title that I have come to know, is actually advising Ahl us-Sunnah in relation to Ahl us-Sunnah. And this is a matter that is agreed upon by all of the Shaykhs that we have known, and we are upon this as well.

However we need to know who are Ahl us-Sunnah, not everyone who claims the Sunnah is actually from it.[note: such as the hizbees who are now using this book for their own agendas!]

Secondly, Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin and others, when he comes to know of a person of innovation he will show rejection upon him and his innovation [note: like he did with Safar and Salman, Ar’oor, Hasan Maalikee etc!]

Thirdly, this is a rule, the one who knows is a proof against the one who does not know, so those who spoke of Abul-Hasan spoke with evidences, proofs so clear, like the apparentness of the sun in the daytime, and they criticised his speech and actions, so those who made jarh upon him and established the evidences against him, then we have to take this from them otherwise we are people of desires. And that Scholar who has not seen what the others have seen, then we do not follow that Scholar who was ignorant of the condition of of the one who was disparaged.

Then the Shaykh gives some examples:

1. Example of Shaafi’ee’s ta’deel for Ibraaheem ibn Muhammad ibn Abee Yahyaa, but scholars made Jarh upon him and said he is not thiqah. So the tawtheeq of Shaafi’ee was not accepted and nor did this tawtheeq help the one who was declared thiqah by him [note: just like Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin’s speech for Abul-Hasan does not benefit him in anyway, for he remains a straying deceiving lying Ikhwaanee Innovator!].

  1. Example of Safar and Salman, when we (i.e. the Shaykhs of Madinah) would criticise them with proof, but Shaykh Ibn Baz and Shaykh Ibn uthaymeen and others from the Major Scholars did not say anything about them. But after 4 years, the declaration came from the Hay’ah convicting them (of errors) and advising that they be restrained.
    3. Example of Shaykh al-Albaanee used to praise Safar and Salman, give them tazkiyah and so on, but after 6 or 7 years, he spoke against them, and he admitted that “we had been hasty and the people of Madinah were more knowledgeable of the people”.

Then the Shaykh said, “distribute this discussion”.

Then after being asked about those who spread this book the Shaykh said, “This person is a person of fitnah, either a person of fitnah or one who does not know (the situation)…” Then the Shaykh added to this, “…especially when such a person spreads it amongst the general people (at large), the likes of me (i.e. the Shaykh) and you (i.e. students of knowledge), from those people who understand could read the book, but as for one who spreads it by the hundreds, to the general and specific people, in accordance with what I have said, then this is either one who is heedless (does not know) or is a person of fitnah (saahibu fitnah).”

Keeping a distance from a Mubtadi even if he has knowledge of fiqh and hadeeth-[Shaikh Fawzaan(may Allaah preserve him)] clarifies

This questioner says:

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

If a student of knowledge utters innovation and calls to it, and he is one with Fiqh and (knowledge of) Hadeeth; does his speech of innovation necessitate an invalidation of his knowledge and his (knowledge) of hadeeth, and not to (benefit from) him unrestrictedly?

Answer:

Yes, he is not to be trusted; the one who is an Innovator is neither to be trusted nor his knowledge, nor (to have) a lackadaisical (stance) towards him. That is because if you (have) a lackadaisical (stance) towards him, the student will be influenced by his Shaikh-he will be influenced by his teacher. Therefore, it is obligatory to be distanced from the people of innovation, and the Salaf (pious predecessors) used to forbid (others) from sitting with the innovators, visiting and going to them; so that their evil is not spread to the one who sits with them and mixes with them.

Advise to Those Who [Don’t know/Those Who Refuse To know] Who Abu Usaamah Is: [A simple verdict from the Mufti of the South of Saudi Arabia]

Question to Al-Allaamah Ahmad An-Najmi (rahimahullaah):

Question: “O Shaykh Ahmad we have with us in America a man called Abu Usaamah who is considered to be from the Du’aat, he aids and supports Abul-Hasan and he calls some noble Salafi brothers ghulaat (extremists), muqallidah (blind followers), and muhqiboon (the people whose religion is the religion of the one they blindly follow), so what is the legislated position from this man and how should we deal with him?

The noble Scholar (rahimahullaah) answered:

موقفكم منه كموقفكم من أهل البدعة , أعرض عنه و اتركه

“Your position with him is the same as your position with the People of Innovation. Turn away from him and abandon him.”

Sh. Mohammad bin Haady حفظه الله تعالى: Refutations are a Part of Seeking Knowledge!

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

It is an extremely sad state of affairs when those who ascribe themselves to knowledge present to the people deceptively chosen generalised statements of the scholars to establish their wayward methodologies; one such deception is the claim that refutations should not be given attention and a person should busy himself with knowledge.

Shaikh Mohammad bin Haady clarifies that refutations are indeed an aspect of seeking knowledge, otherwise how is it expected of an individual to seek knowledge if he is unaware of where to seek it from?! What meaning would the statement of Ibn Seereen hold with regards to seeking knowledge if refutations were not to be given any attention? “Indeed this knowledge is religion, so look to whom you take your religion from.”

Those who follow their desires will present generalised statements of the scholars stating that a person should not busy himself with refutations etc and should instead focus upon knowledge, attempting to utilise such statements to virtually nullify the science of jarh wa ta’deel, such that it becomes a criminal activity and “extremism” (Ghulluw) with them to ask about the state of an individual (and likely more so if the question is related to the likes of Al-Halaby, Al-Ma’riby and others that they wish to defend and would rather remain silent upon, highly conveniently).

In reality such statements of the scholars do not “criminalise” spreading refutations, or asking about individuals in order to protect yourself and be aware of whom to take knowledge from, as Shaikh Mohammad bin Haady explains in the following video.

Greenlane’s Admin –This affair is a differing in Manhaj and not Fiqh; Unity can only be based on sound creed and the one who knows is a proof against the one who does not know!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Al-Allaamah Muqbil Bin Haadee (rahimahullaah) said:

Al-Khilaaf Fiqhiy: It is when the evidence can carry this (meaning) or that (meaning), such as the Hadeeth:”When one of you wakes up from his sleep, he must not put his hand in a utensil till he has washed it three times, for he does not know where his hand was.” The scholars have differed in this (affair); amongst them are those who say that the water becomes impure and amongst them are those who say that it is forbidden (to put one’s hand in the water) but (the water) does not become impure and this affair is a legislated act of worship; and amongst them are those who say that it is Makrooh (disliked to put the one’s hand in the water  but not forbidden), because he (i.e. the person) is upon certainty that his hand is in a state of purity.  So the likes of this (affair) is Ikhtilaaf fiqhiy and similar to it (also is whether) the Basmallaah is to be uttered loudly (during the prayer).

Al-Khilaaf Manhajiy:  As for Al-khilaaf Manhajiy, it is a problematic disease such as the methodology of Ikhwaan Al-Mufliseen; for their Manhaj is entry into elections, houses of parliaments and party Multiplicity.  This is considered to be Ikhtilaaf Manhajiy because it is in opposition to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wa-alaa-aalihi-wasallam)…… [End of quote…See: Ghaaratul Ash-ritah: page: 40-41: Vol 1]

Pay close attention to this affair so that you are not deceived- in your religious affairs- by the deceitful false claimants to Salafiyyah. The Maraakiz of Salafiyyah do not have a working relationship with any organization or group that mixes Sunnah and bidah. However, Greenlane’s Admin co-operates with organizations and groups that mix Sunnah and Bidah, such as Ihyaa Turaath, Al-Maghrib Institute. Greenlane’s Admin seeks to hide its reality from some of those unsuspecting Mashaayikh who are considered to be upon the Sunnah-and only Allaah knows our real state of affairs- whilst maintaining their ties with some of the obstinate people of bidah. This is a Manhaj shared between Ihyaa Turaath and Greenlane’s Admin.

Shaikh Ubaid (may Allaah preserve him) said: Ihyaa Turaath mixes the religion with politics or bidah with Sunnah. The Shaikh also says: Their call is a mixture. They call to those who are considered to be from ahlul bidah. http://www.sahab.net/forums/?showtopic=117024

Ihyaa Turaath

See here: http://www.salafitalk.net/st/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=9&Topic=5220 – all about the Aqeedah and Manhaj of Ihyaa Turaath-The associates of Greenlane’s Admin.

After acquainting yourself with Ihyaa Turaath’s deviations in Aqeedah and Manhaj (in the above link) then ask yourself the following questions:

[1] Is it possible for any claimant to Salafiyyah to co-operate with Ihyaa Turaath after being well aware of their clear affairs of bidah and misguidance in Aqeedah and Manhaj?!

[2] Is it possible for any claimant to Salafiyyah to keep quiet about the clear and grave deviations of Ihyaa Turaath [in Aqeedah and Manhaj] after being well aware of them?!

[3] Is it possible for any claimant to Salafi to show enmity towards those who unveil the calamities of Ihyaa Turaath?!

[4] Is it possible for any claimant to Salafiyyah to deliberately ignore the deviations of Ihyaa Turaath [in Aqeedah and Manhaj] and openly declares it working relationship with them?!

[5] Is it possible for any claimant to Salafiyyah to unite with Ihyaa Turaath after being well aware of their clear deviations in Aqeedah and Manhaj?!

Al-Allaamah Saaleh al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) stated:

As long as the Aqeedah (creed) is shaky and blemished, the Muslims cannot be united. It is not possible to unite the one upon Bidah with the one upon the Sunnah, ABADAN.  It is not possible to unite the person of corrupt Aqeedah (creed) with a person of sound aqeedah even though they share the same name (i.e. they are both called Muslims). The Muslims have to be united upon Tawheed, upon the correct Aqeedah, upon the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (Muhammad-sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam). The Muslims have to come together; they have to unite and follow that which emanates from that bond and unity, as long as this does not depart from obedience to Allaah and His Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam).  And due to that, the Messenger (sallal-laahu alayhi wasallam) said:  ”Allaah is pleased for you with three things: ”that you worship Him (alone) and not to associate anything with Him; and that you (all) hold unto the Rope of Allaah and not to be divided; and that you give sincere advise to the one placed in charge over your affairs (i.e. the Muslim Ruler).”

As for the one who calls to the unity of the Muslims even though they differ in their Aqeedah, indeed, this is impossible. The one who wants to unite the Muslims even though they are upon divergent beliefs, even though they are upon shaky beliefs, this is inconceivable. (It is) like the one who attempts to bring together water and fire or a beast and a fish. This can never be possible because a beast lives on land and a fish lives in the sea…

[End of quote: Source: Excerpt from a lecture delivered by Sheikh Saaleh al Fawzaan at Masjid At-Tawheed in Taa-if. Title of lecture: At Tahdeer Minal Furqati Wal Ikhtilaaf]

Therefore, do not be deceived by Greenlane’s Declaration of a conference in which there some of those Mashaayikh who are considered to be upon the Sunnah-and only Allaah knows our real state of affairs-; rather a sensible person should look to the reality and not merely what is apparent. Clinging to the Sunnah does not allow the Sunni to form alliances with some of those considered to be from Ahlus Sunnah-and only Allaah knows our real state of affairs- whilst maintaining ties with the obstinate deviants of Ihyaa Turaath, al-Maghrib Institute and others. This is why when Shaikh Muhammad Bin Haadi (may Allaah preserve him) was asked about attendance at Islamic conferences (or gatherings) of knowledge that are under the supervision of the Jam-iyyaat (i.e. Islamic organizations of illegal partisanship) but also attended by Mashaayikh who are considered to be upon the Sunnah….So the Shaikh said that the brothers are aware of his speech concerning all these Jam-iyyaat. These Jam-iyyaat seek to promote and establish their goals through some of the Mashaa-yikh, so Shaikh said that he does not see that one should go to them.  Some of the Mashaayikh are unaware of the pursuit of these Jam-iyyaat through them; so one should not go to them. http://www.sahab.net/forums/?showtopic=130647

Shaikh Ubaid Al-Jaabiri (may Allaah preserve him said:”The one who knows of a mistake and it is clear to him, then it is not permissible for him to blindly follow a scholar to whom an affair is hidden. And indeed you already heard yesterday that the scholars are not infallible in their Ijtihaadaat. Therefore, it is not permissible to adopt them (i.e. the mistakes of the scholars) as a methodology (to follow).”  http://salaficentre.com/2013/08/2-an-eye-opener-for-the-seeker-of-truth-alallaamah-ubaid-bin-abdillaah-al-jaabiri-answers/
