Part 1: The True Reality of The Secularist Transgressor Atatürk

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Imam Al-Albani [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated:

During a conversation with a Christian priest, we engaged in a lengthy discussion and analysis. Although the story is extensive and contains numerous benefits, our time is limited to just 5 minutes. Hence, I will only mention what is relevant to this occasion. The priest expressed disapproval towards the Muslims, specifically the scholars, for declaring Mustapha Kamal Pasha, later known as Ataturk, as a disbeliever. Ataturk, who is considered the father of the Turks, implemented policies that restricted Turkish Muslims from adhering to many of the rulings of their religion, as is widely known. The priest verbally attacked the Muslims and accused them of extremism for excommunicating Ataturk, arguing that his only offense was making the wearing of Western-style hats compulsory for Turkish civil servants. In response, I presented two arguments against the priest. Firstly, it is important to note that Ataturk not only opposed Islam in this particular matter, but he also made significant changes to the Shariah, such as altering the inheritance laws to equate the shares of females and males. (I)

In terms of the hat’s subject matter, I engaged in an extensive discussion and analysis, the essence of which is summarised as follows: One of the aspects of Islam’s perfection is its establishment of laws and divine regulations to help Muslims maintain their Islamic identity and avoid adopting the (un-Islamic) identities of other groups. I pointed out to him that scholars specialising in the topic of Ijmaa [(II) religious consensus] assert that any society wishing to preserve its distinctiveness must safeguard its customs, history, and language, considering this an undeniable principle in the field of consensus. Therefore, I explained to him that among the virtues of Islam and the excellence of its laws is the provision for Muslims to uphold their Muslim identity and refrain from emulating those who oppose it; instead, they should be in opposition to the ways of those who contradict their identity.

And if Ataturk, as an example, truly desired the welfare of the Turkish Muslim society and believed that making the hat mandatory would bring about such benefits that other forms of clothing could not, then he possessed the capability to differentiate between the Turkish Muslim hat and the non-Muslim Turkish hat. For instance, he could have placed a distinctive band on the Muslim hat, so that anyone who saw a Muslim wearing it would immediately recognize their religious affiliation, even if they were dressed in garments typically associated with unbelievers. However, Ataturk’s actions were in direct contradiction to the principles of the Islamic faith, leading Muslim scholars to declare him an apostate and disbeliever (i.e. not due to this matter regarding the hat, but other affairs that are tantamount to apostasy).

The discussion and examination between him and me regarding this matter was quite extensive until Allah made me mentally stimulated and bestowed on me the ability to utter a timely statement when the priest stated, “This attire is not specific to any particular society or religion, but rather a global matter.” In response, I approached the topic from a sensitive standpoint. This particular priest is Lebanese, and Lebanese priests have a distinct attire. Firstly, they wear all black, and secondly, their hoods resemble a cowl, similar to a red cowl but longer and darker. I questioned him, “Does your statement imply that clothing has no connection to religion? For instance, would it be permissible for you to remove your hood and instead wear a red cowl with a white turban, giving the impression that you are a respected Shaikh among the Muslim community?”

He responded, “No, no, no.” I then questioned him, “If that’s the case, why do you wear this attire and does it not have any connection to religion?” He explained, “We are Christian scholars, meaning we are religious men and we have a specific attire that is common among Christians. We have a distinct dress code.” Then by the will of Allah, I was inspired and I made a profound statement that left him speechless, showing that there was no room for argument against Islam. I pointed out, “This is the distinction between us Muslims and you Christians; we do not differentiate between a scholar, a student, or anyone else, as long as we are united in Islam. What is impermissible for the most knowledgeable scholar is also impermissible for the least knowledgeable Muslim. This is what is between us, but as for yourselves, you have ‘Men of Religion’ and ‘Men who are not Men of Religion”

This is the manner in which I presented the situation to him, citing evidence that you, as a priest, claim that this attire is specific to priests, while others can wear whatever they please. However, this is not acceptable for us – it is not allowed. What is forbidden for the most honorable and devout individual (muslim) is also forbidden for the one with the lowest rank. What is prohibited for a Muslim scholar to wear is also prohibited for an ordinary individual. Consequently, he was filled with remorse and left speechless. This indeed exemplifies the virtues of the Islamic Shariah. [https://youtu.be/iKlyiyjwyRw Paraphrased. Your feedback is welcomed to improve the content of this article Jazaakumullaahu Khayran]

Finally: NB: Imaam Al-Albani [may Allah have mercy upon him] only mentioned one amongst some of Ataturk’s misguidance, rather the upright scholars declared him a disbeliever due to his many evil beliefs and deeds that are founder on secularism. Al-Allamah Muhammad Amaan Al-Jaami [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “Secularism is disbelief and the mother of all evil”. [Asbaab Al-Ijaabah Cassette 2] However, we are reminded of the fact that removing someone from Islaam is the job and responsibility of the upright scholars of Ahlus Sunnah- neither the responsibility of the common people nor the misguided sects such as the khawaarij. This Queen’s Common Sense and Great Concern For Her People Would Put an End to The Corrupt Goals of Today’s War Profiteers

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah informs us about the Queen of Sabah when she received Prophet Sulayman’s [peace be upon him] letter:

قَالَتْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ إِنِّىٓ أُلْقِىَ إِلَىَّ كِتَٰبٌ كَرِيمٌ

إِنَّهُ مِن سُلَيْمَانَ وَإِنَّهُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

أَلَّا تَعْلُوا۟ عَلَىَّ وَأْتُونِى مُسْلِمِينَ

She said: “O chiefs! Verily! Here is delivered to me a noble letter; verily, it is from Sulayman, and verily, it (reads): ‘In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy. Be you not exalted against me, but come to me as Muslims (true believers who submit to Allah with full submission)'”.

Then Allah says:

She said: “O chiefs! Advise me in (this) case of mine. I decide no case till you are present with me.”

They said: “We have great strength, and great ability for war, but it is for you to command; so think over what you will command.” Meaning: “We are possessors of strength in numbers and equipment, reinforcements and courage during fiece battle, but the matter is entrusted to you, and you are the one who will decide, so consider what you order us to do. We’ll listen and obey you”. [Tafseer Al-Muyassar]

“We are men of strength and great might in warfare. If you respond to what Sulayman said and do not obey him, we are strong to fight”. It is as if they were leaning towards this opinion, which if implemented, it would have led to their destruction, but they also did not settle on it, but rather they said: “And the matter is up to you”, meaning: “The affair is what you give consideration” because of their knowledge regarding her intelligence, determination, and sincere consideration regarding their affairs. [Tafseer As-Sadi]

When they said what they said to her, she was more decisive than them and more knowledgeable about Sulayman’s affair, and that there was no way of defending oneself against Sulayman’s soldiers, armies, the jinn, humans, and birds that were subjected to his command. [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]

She said: “Verily! Kings, when they enter a town (country), they despoil it, and make the most honourable amongst its people low. And thus they do. But verily! I am going to send him a present, and see with what (answer) the messengers return.

Meaning: She warned them against confronting Sulayman (peace be upon him) with hostility, and explaining to them the evil consequences of fighting, that when kings enter a town forcefully and overcome, they destroy it and humiliate the most honorable of its people, killing and capturing, and this is their constant habit to make people fear them, so I am sending a gift to Sulayman and his people, including valuable wealth, with which I will appease him, and then wait for the news that the messengers will return with. [Tafsir Al-Muyassar]

Ottoman Sultan Uthmaan -(The First) – Gave Advice On His Deathbed

“O my son! Beware of busying yourself with something that Allaah, the Lord of the worlds, has not commanded, and if you are faced with a dilemma in relation to passing a judgement, then take the advice of the scholars of the religion”.

Be generous to the soldiers. Let not shaytaan deceive you by your soldiers and wealth, and beware of turning away from the people of the Shariah (i.e. the scholars)”.

“O my son! You know that our goal is to please Allaah, the Lord of the worlds, and that by way of Jihaad the light of our religion spreads to the different regions, so that the pleasure of Allaah – may He be glorified and exalted – manifests”.

O my son! We are not among those who start wars due to a desire to rule and control. We live for Islam and die with Islam. O my son! This is what is worthy of you”.

“know O my son! Spreading Islam, guiding people to it, protecting the honour of Muslims and their wealth is a trust, and Allaah – The Almighty – will ask you about it”.

“O my son! I am returning to my Lord, and I am proud of you that you will be just to those under your authority and striving in the path of Allaah to spread the religion ordained by Allaah”.

“O my son! I advise you to adhere to the scholars of the Ummah continuously, take care of them, honour them a lot and consult them, because they do not command you with anything else except good. O my son! Beware of doing something that does not please Allaah – The Almighty, and if something is difficult for you, ask the scholars of the Sharee’ah, because indeed they will guide you to good”.

“know, O my son! Our only path in this world is the path ordained by Allaah and our only goal is to spread the religion ordained by Allaah, and we are neither seekers of status nor worldly things”.

“My advice to my children and friends is that they maintain the loftiness of the glorious Islamic religion by carrying on with Jihaad in the path of Allaah. Hold onto the honorable banner of Islam at the top with the most perfect Jihaad. Serve Islaam always, because indeed Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic] appointed a weak servant like me to conquer countries. Go with the statement of pure Islamic monotheism to the furthest countries in Jihaad in the path of Allaah”.

“O my son! There is none in the worldly life except that he will submit to death and my life span has approached its end by the command of Allaah. I pass on the affairs of this empire to you and I leave you in the protection of Al-Mawlaa [Allaah – The Protector] and be just in all your affairs”.

[An Excerpt from Ad-Dawlah Al-Uthmaaniyyah Awaamil An-Nuhood wa Asbaab As-Suqoot. 6/49- 51]

One of the disturbing reasons why the butcher of Gaza (callous Netanyahu) and his Zionist henchmen continue murdering innocent women, men and babies!

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] says:

مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا

If anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land – it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. [Surah Al-Maa’idah. Ayah 32]

Meaning: The killer lacks any valid reason to take a life, and it is imperative that no one should kill another person unless there is a justified cause.

If an individual is audacious enough to murder someone who does not deserve it, this indicates that they do not differentiate between the person they killed and others, rather, they would commit this act whenever their evil inclinations prompt them to do so. Consequently, their audacious behavior, which led them to kill, is tantamount to killing all of humanity. Conversely, if a person refrains from killing and instead saves a life, even though their inner desires urge them to do otherwise, out of fear of Allah, it is as if they have saved the lives of all humankind. This is because the fear of Allah that they possess prevents them from killing someone who does not deserve it.

An Excerpt from Tafseer As-Sadi. Slightly paraphrased

Some Views of Zionism’s Crackpots: [Yair Netanyahu, Ehud Olmert, Eli Yishai, Bezalel Smotrich, Tally Gotliv, Ben Gvir Itamar, Lehi, and Arieh King]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] said:
وَإِذَا قُلۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡدِلُواْ وَلَوۡ ڪَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰ‌ۖ

And when you testify, be just, even if (it concerns) a near relative. [1]

Imaam As-Sadi [may Allah preserve him] stated: When you testify by way of a statement to judge between people, differentiate between them in a discourse, and speak regarding matters and circumstances, be just in your speech, adhere to truthfulness regarding those you love and those you hate, be fair and do not conceal what needs to be made clear because it is forbidden and tantamount to injustice to divert (from justice and fairness) when speaking against the one you hate. [2]

When Elon Musk visited the Zionists in Palestine recently, he expressed his thoughts about the blueprint for prosperity after the current conflict ends. He said, “And then the second thing is to change the education so that a new generation of murderers is not created”. [End of quote]

First, no rational person would support Hamas or any other group that attacks some of the defenceless civilians and non-combatants under Netanyahu’s Zionist/Far-right government, if this comment was made in light of such transgression. Shaikh Abu Iyaad [may Allah preserve him] stated: “We condemn everyone who opposes the Divine Legislation by killing innocent civilians, including non-combatant men, the elderly, women, children, priests, monks, and the likes, no matter who they are, Muslim or non-Muslim, whether ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Boko Haram or Benjamin Mileikowsky, the IDF, Settlers, and their likes. Our condemnation is on the basis that such actions are unjust and oppose Divine Legislation and not because of the race or ethnicity or religion of the perpetrators, and thus we are able to maintain moral consistency and integrity”. https://abuiyaad.com/a/amalekite-genocide-doctrine-gaza

Second, no group needs more education than the Zionist supporters of Netanyahu’s Zionist/far-right regime, given their inclination towards mass murder and racism, as well as their justification of transgressions committed under the guise of self-defence. Recently, Zionist Netanyahu quoted the abrogated Hebrew Bible and the destruction of Amalak to try and justify the murder of defenceless women and children in Gaza. Read here: https://abuiyaad.com/a/amalekite-genocide-doctrine-gaza

Netanyahu’s son, Yair Netanyahu, stated on Facebook in 2018: “There will not be peace in here until 1. All the Jews leave the land of Israel. 2. All the Muslims leave the land of Israel. I prefer the second”.

When rebuked for this vile arrogance, he increased in arrogance saying, “Why are people who have been calling for years to evacuate the settlers and establish a Palestinian state free of Jews shocked by this post?” When Facebook deleted his post, he shared a screenshot of the original post and rebuked them, saying: “thought police”. He was then blocked for 24 hours over his violation of Facebook’s community guidelines.

In 2006, the Zionist Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said, “Israeli lives are worth more than Palestinian ones”.

The Independent Newspaper

In 2012, the Zionist Interior Minister Eli Yishai said, “The goal of the operation is to send Gaza back to the Middle Ages. Only then will Israel be calm for 40 years”.

In 2021  the Zionist far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said, “You are here by mistake because Ben Gurion didn’t finish the job and throw you out in 1948”.

The times of Israel

Female Zionist, Tally Gotliv – a Zionist lawyer, politician, and a member of the Knesset for the Likud party of Zionist Netanyahu- stated recently on X (twitter) regarding retaliation: “Jericho Missile! Jericho Missile! Strategic alert. Before considering the introduction of forces. Doomsday weapon! This is my opinion. May God preserve all our strength”.

Ben Gvir Itamar- a Zionist lawyer, far-right politician, the Minister of National Security since 2022, a member of the Knesset, and leader of Otzma Yehudit – stated on X (Twitter): “As long as Hamas does not release the hostages, the only thing that needs to enter Gaza are hundreds of tons of explosives from the airforce, not an ounce of humanitarian aid”

Indeed, whoever carries out research will neither forget nor become oblivious to the fact that the conflict since 1948 stems from the Zionist movement and the consequences of its paramilitary actions in Palestine. This situation was established in part because of Zionist terrorist groups like Lehi, Haganah, and Irgun. These terrorist groups were responsible for the Nakba, the migration of the Palestinian people from their homeland, as well as sabotage, and attacks on civilian infrastructure, railways, and airfields. Furthermore, these terrorist groups and their commanders assimilated into the Zionist state when it declared independence. In addition to the Palestinian people, the British Mandate in Palestine was the target of these terrorist attacks. As one of the first significant acts of terrorism in the Middle East’s modern history, the King David Hotel bombing in Jerusalem in 1946 was a prime example. Therefore, the priority must be to educate and deradicalise Zionists and their adherents because, before their rise to power, Jews and Muslims coexisted despite the latter’s practice of a path that is considered abrogated in the Sight of Allah.

Recently, Zionist Arieh King, deputy mayor of Jerusalem, stated in a deleted tweet regarding some Palestinian non-combatant males detained by the Zionist army for interrogation to determine their Hamas affiliation:

There is no need to comment on his statement that the arrested non-combatant Palestinians are subhuman because we know who is behaving like spotted hyenas on a rampage and slaying nearly over 30000 Palestinians at present, including children. However, we will comment on both his statements referring to those non-combatants as ants and his statement “To protest the memory of Amalek, we will not forget.”

Indeed, even the ants during the time of Prophet Sulayman [peace be upon him and his father] knew that they would not be oppressed. Allah says:

And there were gathered before Sulaiman (Solomon) his hosts of jinns and men, and birds, and they all were set in battle order (marching forwards). Till, when they came to the valley of the ants, one of the ants said: “O ants! Enter your dwellings, lest Sulaiman (Solomon) and his hosts crush you, while they perceive not.” So he [Sulaiman (Solomon)] smiled, amused at her speech, and said: “My Lord! Inspire and bestow upon me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favours which You have bestowed on me and my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds that will please You, and admit me by Your Mercy among Your righteous slaves.” [Surah An-Naml. Ayaat 17-19]

The ant sought an excuse for (Sulayman’s) army if they would have harmed its colony because they were unaware of their presence, and it blamed its colony if they failed to take safeguards by not entering their dwelling place. Sulaymaan [peace be upon him] smiled as a result of this because it is something that should amaze and make someone smile. [3] The ant knew Sulaymaan’s affair and that of his army, exalted Sulaymaan’s authority, and excused them if they crushed its colony because that would have occurred unintentionally. Sulaymaan heard the ant’s speech and understood it, so he smiled due to being amazed by the ant’s eloquence, advice, and fine expression. [4]

Indeed, this is only one of the Prophets’ and Messengers’ remarkable manners. They never intended to hurt anyone; rather, even those small animals (the ants) were assured that Prophet Sulayman [peace be upon him] and his subjects would not harm them intentionally- neither in speech nor deed. Compare this to the attitude of Zionists, who make a speech calling for mass murder and then launch a purposeful bombing campaign to kill thousands of noncombatant Palestinians, whilst certain that the innocent victims will include thousands of children. Compare how the ant advised its colony to enter their dwellings to avoid being unintentionally harmed by Prophet Sulaymaan’s army to how the Zionist army tells non-combatant Palestinians to relocate to this or that area for safety, then conflict begins in the same area they designated as a safe-haven. As a result, Elon Musk must remember that Zionists require more education and deradicalization than anyone else.

As for Mr. King’s statement “To protest the memory of Amalek, we will not forget”, this link contains its appropriate response. https://abuiyaad.com/a/amalekite-genocide-doctrine-gaza

[22] Seeking to Discredit Scholars of Ahlul Athar! [“We will not blindly follow Al-Fawzaan to abandon Hijaab”]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Mad’khalee [may Allah preserve him] said: It has become common nowadays to reject scholars’ statements (i.e. their sound verdicts) by using statements whose apparent meaning is sound, but those who utter them intend falsehood. “I do not blindly follow”, despite that you find him to be ignorant, lacks understanding in religious matters, and is among those who are greatly in need of Taqlid and following the scholars. There is an ignorant person who needs to make Taqlid. [I] It is incumbent on him to make Taqlid of the scholars. The student of knowledge can determine the correctness of a particular scholar through evidence and then follow that person based on evidence. This is a step higher than Taqleed but below the level of the Mujtahid. Some individuals may claim, “I don’t follow blindly,” but in truth, he is an ordinary person, an evildoer, or a malicious person trying to discredit scholars and distance people from them through these cunning ways. Therefore, the youth should be cautious lest they fall into the trap of these fools – those who speak ill of the scholars in such a heedless manner.

“I do not blindly follow such and such”. We say to him “Who commands you to blindly follow if you are a student of knowledge?! However, if that scholar about whom you say, “I do not blindly follow him” has truth with him, would it be permissible to reject the truth through this illusion which you call Taqleed and intend falsehood by way of it?! I warn the youth against this despicable behaviour. It has become rife amongst the common people and prevents them from good manners, (sound adherence to) religion, and (good) character. [1]

Indeed, Bid’ee, Muhammad Hijaab’s deviation from the right path is clear, so only one who is duped or a foolish person would ignore the evidence-based proof regarding his corrupt beliefs and deeds. As for his vile mockery of Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan (may Allah preserve him) or any other upright scholar, his wrongful actions can be summed up in the following poem:

يُخاطِبُني السَفيهُ بِكُلِّ قُبحٍ
فَأَكرَهُ أَن أَكونَ لَهُ مُجيبا
يَزيدُ سَفاهَةً فَأَزيدُ حِلماً
كَعودٍ زادَهُ الإِحراقُ طيبا

The fool addresses me with every repugnant (expression etc), but I hate to be a respondent, so he increases in foolishness and I increase in forbearance, just as Oud increases in good smell when burnt.

[21] Seeking to Discredit Scholars of Ahlul Athar! [Reminded precisely why Bid’ee Muhammad Hijaab is Reprimanded]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The one who lives long after me will see a lot of differences, so beware of the newly invented matters (in the religion) because it is misguidance. Whoever among you reaches that (time of differing), it is obligated to him to adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Khulafaa [i.e. Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthmaan and Ali], and bite onto it with the molars [i.e. cling to it firmly]”. [Abu Dawud 4607; Ahmad 4/126; Tirmidhee 2676]

Imam Ibn Rajab [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: The Prophet [peace and blessings be upon him] commanded us that during splitting and differing, one should adhere to his Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided khulafaa after him. The Sunnah is the path that is to be adhered to, and that includes adhering to what he and his rightly guided khulafaa were upon with regards to creed, deeds and statements. This is the complete Sunnah. [1]

Imaam Abu Haatim [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “This is clear evidence that the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] commanded his Ummah to know the Du’afaa (weak narrators) amongst them and distinguish them from the reliable narrators. That is because the Sunnah cannot be adhered to alongside the lies and falsehood mixed with it, except by way of knowing the Du’afaa and distinguishing them from the reliable narrators”. [2]

Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated, “The Imaams of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaaa’ah, the people of knowledge and Imaan, are possessors of Knowledge, Justice and Mercy. They know the truth in a manner in which it should be in agreement with the Sunnah and free from Bidah. They deal justly with those who are outside of the Sunnah, even if they oppress them, as Allah [The Most High] says:

وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ عَلَىٰ أَلَّا تَعْدِلُوا ۚ اعْدِلُوا هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ

And let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety. [Surah Al-Maa’idah. Ayah 8]

They are merciful towards the creation. They wish good for them, guidance and knowledge. They do not set out wishing evil for them; rather when they punish them, clarify their mistakes, ignorance and wrong doing, their intention is to clarify the truth, being merciful to the people, enjoining good and forbidding evil so that the entire religion is established sincerely and Allah statement (none has the right to be worshipped except Allah) is the uppermost”. [3]

Al-Allaamah Ubaid Al-Jaabiri [may Allah preserve him] said: “When they [Ahlus Sunnah] speak against anyone amongst the people, it is not due to his lineage, tallness, shortness or specific traits. This does not hold any value in their view. They speak against a Mukhaalif [i.e. the one in opposition to the truth] due to the corruptness of his methodology. They speak against the groups and individuals who are in opposition- not because of their personalities; rather due to their deviation from guidance, the true religion, the path of the believers [i.e. the Sahaabah] and the Sunnah of the leader of the Messengers [Muhammad – peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]. [4]

Therefore, it should be known that Bid’ee Muhammad Hijaab is not reprimanded for anything else other than his misguidance and vile behaviour. Read:

[20] Seeking to Discredit Scholars of Ahlul Athar! [Bid’ee’s -(Muhammad Hijaab) – circumstances scrutinised in light of a statement of Imam Al-Barbahaaree]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Imam Al-Barbahaaree [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: “Know that leaving the correct path occurs in two ways. Firstly, a man strays from the correct path intending nothing but good, so his error is not to be followed since it leads to destruction. Secondly, a man who deliberately opposes the truth and acts contrary to the Pious ones who came before him, is astray, leading others astray, a rebellious devil within the Ummah. It is a duty upon those who know of him to warn the people against him and to explain his condition to them so that no one falls into his innovation and is destroyed”.

Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] commented on the above statement of Imam Barbahaaree [may Allah have mercy upon him] saying: The first man leaves the (correct path) without the intention (to do so), rather he intended good but followed other than the path of good. Striving (alone) is not sufficient, and even if the person has a righteous intention and a good aim, then that must be upon the correct path. Therefore, this (person) is considered mistaken and whoever agrees with him and follows his error will be destroyed because this is a path of destruction even though the (person) did not intend to leave (the correct path); rather his quest was (to reach something) good. This is the state of many of those who initiate newly invented matters in the knowledge of Aqeedah (Creed). This affair is not permissible, and they should not adhere to it. The person is not upon correctness. Allah [The Mighty and Majestic] said: [ وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ – And verily, this is my Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path]. [Surah Al-An’aam. Ayah 153]

Therefore, we reject any path that exits us from the Straight Path even if the one who (calls) to it aims for good and has a good intention. We do not follow him in that while he continues upon his error, eventually leading to destruction because whoever abandons the correct path in his journey and takes a path of ruin will be destroyed.

As for the second person, it is the one who intends to leave (the correct path). He knows the truth and that what he embarks upon is falsehood, but he intends to leave the truth with the intention of misguiding the people. So, the intention of the first (person) is to bring about benefit for the people, but he did not follow the correct path. The second (person) intended to misguide the people and turn them away from the correct path. Therefore, this one is a devil because the devils take the people away from the Straight Path. (Allah informs us that) Iblees said: [لَأَقْعُدَنَّ لَهُمْ صِرَاطَكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ -Surely, I will sit in wait against them (human beings) on Your Straight Path]. [7:16]

So he intends to turn them away from it [i.e. the straight path] and [direct them] towards the deviated paths. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] gave us an example when he drew a straight line and drew other lines on its sides, he then said about the straight line, “This is the path of Allah” and he said about the other lines, “These are the other paths, and on each path is a devil calling to it”. This is a clear example that agrees with that which the Shaikh (i.e. Imaam Barbahaaree) has stated here. So, the one who takes the people away from the Straight Path (and directs them) to the innovated paths of the innovators (in religious matters) is not one who intends good for them; rather he intends destruction for them. He is a devil, be it that he is a devil from amongst the Jinn or the people. It is obligated to us to be more careful of this (second person) than the first one because this one (i.e. the second) intends to misguide the people.

And regarding the statement of Imaam Barbahaaree: “He is astray, leading others astray, a rebellious devil”, Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan stated: He is misguided and misguiding others- a rebellious devil, a rebel intending to turn the people from the Straight Path. And regarding the statement of Imaam Barbahaaree, “It is a duty upon those who know of him to warn the people against him and to explain his condition to them so that no one falls into his innovation and is destroyed”, Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan commented on the above statement, saying: It is not permissible to keep quiet about this one who leaves the truth intentionally; rather it is obligatory to unveil his affair and uncover his vileness until the people are warned about him. And it is not to be said that the people are free to hold views, freedom of speech and respecting the views of others, as say present with regards to [having] respect for the views of others. The affair is not about views; [rather] the affair is about Ittibaa [i.e. following the authentic proofs narrated from the Messenger accompanied with the understanding of the pious predecessors]. Allah has outlined a clear path for us, and He told us to adhere to it, when He [Glorified be He] stated: [وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ] ‘And verily, this is my Straight Path, so follow it’ [6:153]

If any person comes to us and wants us to leave this straight path, firstly we reject his statement. Secondly, we clarify and warn the people against him and we do not keep quiet about him; because if we keep quiet about him, the people will be deceived by him, especially if he is an eloquent person with (skillful) writing and education because the people will be deceived by him and will say, “This one is competent, this one is from the thinkers” as is taking place today. Therefore, the affair is very dangerous, and regarding this is a reason to refute the one in opposition, as opposed to what those who say, “Abandon the refutations, leave the people, everyone has his views and have respect for him”. By way of this (so-called) respect for the views and freedom of speech, the Ummah will be destroyed. The Salaf (pious predecessors) did not keep quiet about the likes of these people; rather they exposed and refuted them due to their knowledge of the danger upon Ummah. We do not keep quiet about their evil; rather that which Allah has revealed must be clarified, otherwise, we will be from those who conceal the truth-those whom Allah spoke of (saying): [إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَا أَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالْهُدَىٰ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا بَيَّنَّاهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِي الْكِتَابِ ۙ أُولَٰئِكَ يَلْعَنُهُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَلْعَنُهُمُ اللَّاعِنُونَ – Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allah and cursed by the cursers].'[2:159]

The affair is not limited to the innovator, rather it is extended to the one who keeps quiet about him (i.e. the one who deliberately keeps quiet whilst being aware about him). Rebuke and punishment (i.e. warning) are extended to him because it is obligatory to clarify. [1]

Hijaab’s deviations speaks for itself. Read below: Muhammad Hijab, the Falasifah, Mutafalsifah and Jahmiyyah: Laying the Foundations for the Dīn of the Philosophers and Jahmites:

https://abukhadeejah.com/muhammad-hijab-revilement-of-sahabah-ahlus-sunnah/

Finally, this Bid’ee – Muhammad Hijaab – is reminded that even if he was one who possess knowledge and followed the Sunnah, he would have still received rebuke for his disrespectful behaviour. Consequently, considering his deviation from the right path and his obstinate attitude, he deserves an even more severe reprimand. So, let it be known to him and all those who speak ill of the erudite Salafi Scholar Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan or any other upright scholar, that their wrongful actions can be summed up in the following poem:

[19] Seeking to Discredit Scholars of Ahlul Athar! [O Bid’ee Muhammad Hijaab! No kind words for one who does not honour an upright Scholar]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Ibn Asaakir said: Al-Abdariy was the Shaikh with the most memorisation I have ever met and he was a jurist. It was reported that he entered Damascus during the lifetime of Abul-Qasim Bin Abee Al-Ala, and I heard him when Imam Malik was mentioned, he said “He is coarse and rough!” He stated when he came across a statement of Abu Ubaid, “He was nothing but an absent-minded donkey who did not know jurisprudence!” I was told about him that he said about Ibrahim Al-Nakha’ee: “He is one-eyed, evil!” So we gathered one day with Ibn As-Samarqandi to read the book Al-Kamil, and it was stated in it “As-Sadi said such and such” , so he said, “Ibn Adi is lying, rather this is a statement of Ibrahim Al-Jawzajani”. So, I said to him, “He is Al-Sadi. How much bad manners can we tolerate from you when you say such-and-such about Ibrahim, and say about Malik “Coarse” and speak about Abu Ubaid?!” He became angry and trembling, and said, “Ibn Al-Khatibah, Al-Bardani and others were afraid of me, so the matter came to you and you say this about me?!” So, Ibn As-Samarqandi said to him: “This is for that (behaviour of yours)”. I (Ibn Asaakir) said to him, “We’ll only honour you as long as you honour the Imams”. (1)

Therefore, we inform Bid’ee Muhammad Hijaab that even if he was one who possess knowledge and followed the Sunnah, he would have still received rebuke  for his disrespectful behavior.

[18] Seeking to Discredit Scholars of Ahlul Athar! [O Bid’ee Muhammad Hijaab! Attacking any upright Scholar is one of signs of the absence of sound intellect]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Al-Allaamah Muqbil Bin Haadi Al-Waadi’ee (may Allah have mercy upon him) was asked: “What is the verdict of Shariah regarding one who mocks the scholars of the Sunnah, such as Ibn Baz, Ibn Uthaymeen, Shaikh Al-Albani, and others, claiming that they are callers to Fitna?”

Response: This is a plot of the enemies of Islam to separate the scholars from the common people. This plot has been embraced by the Sufis, the Shiites, and the advocates of illegal partisanship who harbour bias against scholars, along with the Sururis, who defame the scholars and accusing them that their call is that of Fitna. Therefore, it is said to them: O Miskeen! What have you done for Islam?! Where are your books? Where is your pursuit of knowledge? Where is your call to Islam? Perhaps you are in an evil state, the beard shaved as we have seen the Sufis in Hadhramaut. The beard is shaved, the creed is ruined, and you are upon extreme ignorance. However, what is important to know is that they are callers to ignorance and misguidance.

Allah says in His Noble Book:

يَرْفَعِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ دَرَجَاتٍ‏

Allah will exalt in degree those of you who believe, and those who have been granted knowledge. And Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do. (Surah Al-Mujaadilah. Ayah 11)

Allah mentioned them (I.e. the upright scholars) specifically after mentioning the believers in general, saying:

إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ

It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allah. (Surah Fatir. Ayah 28)

Allah also says:

Say: “Are those who know equal to those who know not?” It is only men of understanding who will remember (i.e. get a lesson from Allah’s Signs and Verses). (Surah Az-Zumar. Ayah 9)

This is proof that those who speak ill of the scholars do not possess sound intellect. (1)

So, let it be known to Muhammad Hijaab and all those who speak ill of the erudite Salafi Scholar Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan or any other upright scholar, that his wrongful actions can be summed up in the following poem:

يُخاطِبُني السَفيهُ بِكُلِّ قُبحٍ

[17] Seeking to Discredit Scholars of Ahlul Athar! [O Bid’ee Muhammad Hijaab! Only those upon wicked creeds and possessors of wicked hearts abuse scholars of Ahlus Sunnah]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Imam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allah have mercy upon him] was asked:

Some individuals consistently violate the honour (of others), particularly (the honour of) scholars, and they are keen to distance themselves from them and refuse to acknowledge or listen to them. Could this behaviour be considered a violation of Allah’s Shariah because when a person hates a scholar and does not learn, they die ignorant or turn away (from guidance). Allah says: [فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ – So, ask the people of knowledge if you do not know]. May Allah reward you; what is your advice?

Response: This has detailed clarification. The one who abuses the scholars of the Sunnah and cautions others against them is inclined towards being a hypocrite, possessor of a wicked heart and creed. It is imperative to be cautious of such an individual, to restrain them, and to notify people about him until he is halted and appropriately punished. This is because warning against people of knowledge and making others flee from them, thus they are not benefited from and Allah’s Shariah is not acquired from them, this can only stem from hypocrisy, disbelief in Allah, obstinacy towards the truth, and hatred towards Islam. As for the warning against evil scholars and the scholars of Bidah so that a student is not deceived by them, this person is to be thanked for his deed and striving after he acquired insight and certainty (regarding the affair)- based on clarity regarding what he says and the one warned against is well-known for bidah and corruption…[1]

[1] The complete statement below:
