Part 3: O Faris Al-Hammadi! The time has arrived for your deceitful and absurd statements to be unveiled for all to see! [A Brief Examination of Faris’s Main Assertions]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Most High, says:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So, follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. [An-Nisaa.135]

And if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do.

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Allah, Glorified be He and free is He from all imperfections, mentions two reasons that will inevitably lead to the concealment of truth, then He warned against them and issued a threat: the first of them is distortion and the second is to turn away from giving truthful witness. That is because when a proof that supports the truth is manifested and the one who wants to repel it finds no way of doing so, he refrains from mentioning it and thus becomes a silent devil, and sometimes he distorts it. Distortion is of two types -distorting words and meanings. Distorting words occur when one utters a word in a context in which it does not establish the truth – either adding to the word, omitting something from it, or substituting it with something else to the extent that the listener is made to believe something, whilst something else is intended, just as the Yahood [i.e. those Yahood who disbelieved in the Prophet and hated him in Madeenah] used to distort words when giving Salaam to the Prophet [i.e. saying As-Saamu Alayka (death be upon you), instead of saying Assalaamu alaykum)]. This is one type of distortion. The second type of distortion is related to meanings – distorting the wording, giving it an interpretation that is not intended by the one who uttered it and pretending not to know its unintended meaning; or dropping other meanings intended by it. Allah, The Exalted, says: [وَإِن تَلۡوُ ۥۤاْ أَوۡ تُعۡرِضُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرً۬ا – and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do]. [1]

Faris stated: “You know I get asked this question a lot, and I know usually, Allahu a’lam I’m tested, I’m being tested with this question. Then I say to the brothers who still indulging in such a matter that they should fear Allah and get busy with things that are beneficial to them, yeah”

Observation: In the statement above, deceitful Faris says Allah knows best, but he believes that he is being tested! Therefore, the only thing we deduce from this is that we are all tested in one of two ways in the arena of Dawah and adherence to the religion: one may be tested and challenged while advocating for the truth, or individuals may assess someone’s position on a significant matter before accepting knowledge from them. Neither scenario poses a problem for someone who is questioned, as their ultimate aim is to uphold the truth and maintain the correct position. The challenges faced in the pursuit of Dawah are well known from the stories of the Prophets and their followers. Furthermore, we all know what is mentioned in Surah Al-Asr. We ask Allah to grant us Tawfeeq and include us among those who embody the four qualities highlighted in Surah Al-Asr. Read below:

The pinnacle of human perfection is attained through four qualities

However, what stands out most prominently in Faris’s statement is the scrutiny he faces concerning his stance on a particular issue, specifically the matter of Muhammad Bin Hadi, which will soon come to light. First, it is essential to establish that the evaluation of a teacher or caller’s reliability is a well-established principle within the Manhaj of the Salaf before one seeks knowledge from them. Imam Ibn Sirin, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: “Indeed, this knowledge is religion, so carefully consider from whom you take your religion”. [2]

Imam Muhammad Ibn Salih Al-Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: We add trustworthiness as an additional characteristic alongside proficiency because proficiency is a strength and it has to be accompanied by trustworthiness. Allah says:

Verily, the best of men for you to hire is the strong, the trustworthy.[Al-Qasas. 26]

It may be that a scholar is proficient and vast in knowledge, able to derive and explain subsidiary issues from fundamental principles, as well as categorise, distinguish, and place different subject matters in their appropriate place, but he is not trustworthy and might misguide you from where you do not know”. [3]

Thus, it is only fitting that the seekers of knowledge should be aware of the individuals they accompany or acquire their knowledge from. The poet said, “Do not ask about a man, but ask about his companion because every person guides himself by his companion”. [Al-Ibaanah 2/439] Translated by Spubs

Ibn Mas’ood said, “Indeed, a person walks along & accompanies the one whom he loves & who is like him”. [Al-Ibaanah 2/476] Translated by Spubs

Abu Dardaa said, “It is from the Fiqh (understanding of a person) that he (chooses) those whom he walks with, whom he enters upon (visits) & whom he sits with”. [Al-Ibaanah 2/477] Translated by Spubs

Al-A’mash said, “The Salaf did not used to ask anything more about a person after having asked three affairs: Who he walks with, who he enters upon (visits) & who he associates with amongst the people”. [al-Ibaanah 2/478] Translated by Spubs

Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud said, “Make consideration of the (regions of the) earth by the names given to them & make consideration of a person by his companion”. [al-Ibaanah 2/479] Translated by Spubs

Mu’aadh Bin Mu’aadh said to Yahyah Bin Sa’eed, O Abu Sa’eed! A person may hide his viewpoint from us, but will not be able to hide that in his son, or his friend or in one whom he sits with”. [Al-Ibaanah 2/437] Translated by Spubs

Thus, should the duplicitous Faris perceive himself as undergoing a trial of this nature, it may indeed serve a beneficial purpose, compelling him to embrace honesty in his declarations, associations, and deeds, particularly if he genuinely advocates for Salafiyyah. Nevertheless, upon expressing his sentiment of being tested, he requested that the brothers who continue to engage in such matters should fear Allah and focus on more beneficial pursuits. From this, we can draw several noteworthy observations as follows:

He implores those who engage in this matter to cultivate a profound reverence for Allah. It is indeed commendable that Faris encourages individuals to embrace this fear, and we should always heed such reminders. However, it is equally essential to explore the underlying principles that necessitate this fear of Allah. In this context, such reverence compels one to uphold the truth, denounce falsehood, champion what is right, and provide clarity in all matters. Dr. Muhammad Bin Hadi has overstepped by issuing a Tabdee against some senior Salafi students. Is there any alternative course of action available, other than ensuring that Dr. Muhammad publicly retracts his erroneous Tabdee? This would liberate him from the unjust burden of seeking to undermine the integrity of these senior students of knowledge, based solely on speculation, transgression, and impulsiveness. This is why Al-Allamah Rabee and Al-Allamah Ubaid reprimanded him because he has transgressed. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one”. People asked, “O Allah’s Messenger! It is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?” The Prophet said, “By preventing him from oppressing others.” [4]

What actions is Faris undertaking to persuade Dr. Muhammad Bin Hadi to retract the erroneous Tabdee, instead of merely invoking the phrase “Fear Allah” to evade his obligations? Furthermore, there are individuals, whether through deception or naivety, who believe that Dr. Muhammad Bin Hadi’s situation is confined to a court case. In reality, the crux of the issue lies in his issuance of a false Tabdee judgment, which he has yet to revoke. This is precisely why he faced confrontation and scrutiny from Al-Allamah Rabe Bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali. Please read further below:

Beyond the mere utterance of “Fear Allah” as a means to evade his obligations, he further asserted that one should immerse oneself in pursuits that yield more benefit. Is it truly of lesser significance to investigate the matters concerning Dr. Muhammad Bin Hadi? The turmoil he has instigated has undeniably troubled the Salafiyyoon, and should we allow this misguided Tabdee to pass unchallenged, we can anticipate the emergence of another individual who will follow suit. Subsequently, we may find yet another like Faris advising others to fear Allah and focus on what is deemed more beneficial. This is the insidious manner in which the Mu’mayyi’ah gradually stifle the essence of enjoining good and prohibiting evil under the guise of unity and the pursuit of greater benefits, rather than adhering to the clear, knowledge-based guidance provided by scholars against those who err and persist in their missteps. More than two decades ago, and even at present, certain individuals have sought to dissuade others from engaging with and scrutinising the rebuttals directed at those who remain entrenched in their errors, as articulated by Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali, may Allah protect him. The Shaikh said:

“The people extensively read books that contained deviant viewpoints, and the libraries were decaying and being filled with misguidance and Bidah. Nonetheless, they refrained from speaking in this manner (those who object when one seeks to acquaint himself with refutation to be upon clarity about groups and individuals). However, as people started to (follow) the teachings of Allah’s Book and the Sunnah based on the methodology of the Pious Predecessors and discovered books that warned them against Bidah and misguidance, they said, “Do not busy yourselves on these matters, do not neglect knowledge”. These refutations are part of acquiring knowledge. By Allah! To be acquainted with guidance (and distinguishing) it from misguidance, recognising good and (distinguishing it) from evil, are knowledge that will safeguard a person, as Hudhaifah, may Allah be pleased with him, said, ‘The people used to ask the Messenger about the good, but I used to ask him about the evil out of fear of falling into it’. The books of the proponents of Bidah and misguidance should be made known through the books that debunk them. Many young people were ruined when deprived of the likes of these books that protect them. These books offer a shield of protection for the youth”. [5]

Therefore, is it not essential for those who enquire to gain comprehension of the sound Manhaj position regarding the erroneous Tabdee proclaimed by Dr. Muhammad Bin Hadi? Have those scholars, Al-Allamah Rabee, Al-Allamah Ubaid, and Shaikh Abdullah Al-Bukhari, squandered their efforts in cautioning us about the perils of this misguided Tabdee? Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi Al-Madkhali, may preserve him, said: “Numerous Fitan have transpired, including the fitna of the Khawaarij, the Rawaafid, and killing. Instances of deviation and misguidance have occurred, often linked to conflicts and trials concerning politics, creed, methodology, and similar matters… Therefore, during every trial, they (the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah) must openly proclaim the truth and clarify it for the people. They should distinguish – for them – between guidance and misguidance, truth and falsehood, how the people will be safeguarded from these trials, the path through which they will be saved from entering into trials and other affairs (through which) Allah guides this (victorious) group when (they) face every trial”. [6]

Then Faris stated: “This happened years ago….”

How intriguing it is that a grave error committed long ago seems to fade in importance, even while the individual responsible continues to uphold it! The controversies surrounding figures like Al-Halabi, Al-Maghrawi, Al-Maribi, Al-Hajuri, and Falih Al-Harbi may have occurred in the distant past, yet they remain subjects of scrutiny due to their unwavering adherence to their misjudgements. Similarly, those who erred centuries ago and did not retract their statements continue to face criticism, with scholars cautioning against their writings and fallacies. So, what of the individual whose erroneous stance on false Tabdee persists, with supporters still rallying to his side, while he remains unrepentant? Yet, Faris dismissively claims, “This happened years ago…” Umar Ibn Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “People were (sometimes) judged by the revealing of a Divine revelation during the lifetime of Allah’s Messenger but now there is no longer any more (new revelation). Now we judge you by the deeds you practice publicly, so we will trust and favour the one who does good deeds in front of us, and we will not call him to account about what he is really doing in secret, because Allah will judge him for that; but we will not trust or believe the one who presents to us an evil deed even if he claims that his intentions were good”. [7]

Imam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: “Whoever manifests good, it will be accepted from him and a good suspicion is held about him. And if he manifests evil, it will be held against him and an evil suspicion is held about him”. [8]

Indeed, the challenges faced by others far surpass those endured by the deceitful Faris! Consider the esteemed Al-Allamah Rabee and Al-Allamah Ubaid, under whose guidance and other senior scholars Dr. Muhammad Bin Hadi flourished in his quest for knowledge. Yet, when Dr. Muhammad remained stubborn in his misguided Tabdee, they admonished him. Furthermore, what of the senior teachers at Spubs, who have been acquainted with Dr. Muhammad for an extensive period? Despite their long-standing relationship, they took it upon themselves to elucidate his situation when he continued to cling to his errors. Read below:

https://abukhadeejah.com/muhammad-hadi-allegations-and-response-of-the-major-scholars/

This is because the essence lies in the absence of unwavering loyalty to any individual; instead, the Muslim’s loyalty is solely to the truth, as articulated by Al-Allamah Zayd Bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali, may Allah’s mercy be upon him:

“There is no (unrestricted or unconditional) allegiance except to Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, because he is infallible and never speaks out of his desires. As for unrestricted allegiance to personalities whether they are correct or mistaken, then indeed this is not permissible for the seeker of knowledge. On the other hand, he should look to such and such Shaikhs as to which of them is upon uprightness and is following the Manhaj of the Salaf. This is the one whom we place our hands on his hands- not out of blameworthy blind following, but rather, because he is upon the truth. So we agree with him upon truth and follow a singular path in obedience to the statement of Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic]: [وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَن سَبِيلِهِ – And verily, this is my Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path] [6:153]
As for the one who selects Shaikhs, leaders, and guides, whilst agreeing with them- in what is correct and wrong- to the extent that they do not leave their Manhaj whether they are correct or wrong, then these are the people who bring evil upon themselves and others. And if they do not repent, then they are most worthy of being blamed. So the affair-and all praise belongs to Allah- is clear and it is not permissible for a person to be in confusion regarding this affair. We are with those who follow the straight path – a singular path that Allah, The Mighty and Majestic, has commanded us to follow and the messenger called us to. And those you follow the wrong path or are mistaken in many of their affairs, or some of their affairs, we leave him [i.e. we leave his mistakes or abandon him when he deserves to be boycotted]. None is followed in everything except the Messenger of Allah. As for the people, they can be correct or mistaken. Indeed, we do not follow them and we do not follow their footsteps solely because they are Shaikhs, callers to Islam, leaders or guides; rather you should be with the people of the Salafi Manhaj-those who follow the correct Manhaj and correct understanding”. [9]

Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali, may Allah preserve him, stated: “Concerning the individual who possesses the evidence, it is incumbent to accept their speech based on adherence to Allah’s Legislation and Proofs, rather than the personality of that individual”. [10]

The Shaikh also said, “The seeker of truth is not diverted from the truth, fairness, and justice due to admiration of the big personalities and being amazed by them, for indeed the truth is more worthy to be followed. It is not permissible to drop the proofs for the sake of this or that great man. The principle of the Muslim – the unbiased one, the seeker of truth – is always: [قُلْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ -Say, bring forth your proofs if you are truthful]. [Surah An-Nahl. Verse 64] [11]

In addition, there should be no flattery, as emphasised by Imam Ash-Shawkaanee: “We often see a man who holds a belief that aligns with truth and correctness. However, when he speaks to someone who disagrees with him- one who is inclined towards something of the innovated matters in the religion, and especially if that person holds a position of leadership or worldly wealth, not to mention a king, he agrees with him, strengthens, supports and aids him against others. The least in such circumstances is that he would hide what he believes is the truth and show contempt – in the presence of a person from whom it is neither possible to receive harm nor benefit – towards what has become clear to him is the right thing, so, what about someone from whom harm and benefit are possible? This behavior is essentially prioritising worldly things and the life of this world over the religion and the afterlife. If he observed and reflected upon what has happened to him, he would have realised that his inclination toward the (vain) desires of a man, two men, three or more individuals – among those he compliments within that gathering, conceals the truth to be in agreement with them and to gain affection, acquire their possessions, and avoid being isolated by them -is a deficiency in upholding the truth and tantamount to exalting falsehood. If it were not for the fact that these individuals hold a higher position in his eyes than the Lord, he would not have been inclined to their (vain) desires and abandoned what he knows to be what Allah wants and demands from His servants”. [12]

In conclusion, duplicitous Faris said: “This fitnah about Shaykh Muhammad bin Hadi and wallaahi this is not a subject or a topic that should be discussed publicly and especially among people or laymen or young students of knowledge. Discussing this and making you know walaa and baraa because of this matter, this is foolishness and this is from the shaytaan and this will divide the Muslims wAllahu ta’aala A’lam, get busy with what benefits you that’s better and this is not something that is beneficial and valuable.”

Observation: To begin with, is Faris feigning ignorance to the alarming extent of the Fitna surrounding Dr. Muhammad Bin Hadi and the reprehensible conduct of his fervent followers, Al-Musafiqah? Does he genuinely believe that his actions should not be scrutinised and discussed in the public sphere, although his false Tabdee unfolded before all eyes? Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: If a man commits evil openly, denouncing him openly is not tantamount to backbiting him. It is obligatory to chastise him openly with what would prevent him from (the evil), such as boycotting and other than that”. [13]

Imam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz, may Allah have mercy upon him, was asked: When should advice be given in private or openly?

Response: The one giving advice does what is best. If he sees that it is more beneficial in secret, he advises secretly; if he sees that it is more beneficial to do so openly, he does so. However, if the sin is committed secretly, the advice can only be given secretly. If he knows about his brother that he sins in secret, he advises him in secret and does not expose him. But if the sin is committed openly- seen by the people, for example, a person starts drinking alcohol in a gathering, then one must denounce it openly; or if a person started calling (others) to drink alcohol or to fornicate, whilst one is present, he should say, “O my brother! This is not permissible”. [14]

Subsequently, Faris invoked “The Layman Card,” which has echoed for almost thirty years, often uttered by those who seek refuge behind it to evade accountability when confronted with the necessity of honesty. Ironically, it is these same laymen who, in the absence of clarity, become pawns in the hands of the very deceivers who insist they should remain uninvolved. Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali, may Allah preserve him, was asked, “What do you say about an individual who advises people not to listen to refutations, when asked why he took this stance, he answered, ‘The person who asked me about this was a common person, and he is unable to recite the Quran properly’. What is your comment on this? May Allah bless you”.

Response: If he is a layman, he must be taught the Islamic creed and warned against ahlul bidah. Because the majority of ordinary people have become supporters of the people of bidah these days, it is necessary to warn them. Say to him, “So and so is on such and such bidah, and you will be harmed if you listen to him.” This is done so that they will not read (his books), listen to his audio tapes, and will be cautious of his statements. This layman needs someone to caution him and remind him of the principle, “This knowledge is religion so look at whom you take your religion from”. During these times, the common people are targeted by the people of bidah, who will tell you, “Do not let them read the books of refutations.” No. No. This will expose them (the people) to destruction. [15]

Then Faris expressed that the matter concerning Dr. Muhammad is being transformed into a divisive issue of Walaa and Baraa, deeming such behavior as folly and a ploy of Shaytaan. He cautioned that this could lead to a rift among Muslims, urging instead a focus on pursuits that yield what is more beneficial, for such endeavours are better and more valuable!

Observation: Faris’s approach once again reminds us that it is indeed the case that when an individual consciously chooses to evade their responsibilities from the very beginning, they often resort to uttering something either malevolent or nonsensical to mask their wrongdoing. There is no doubt that this situation must be examined through the lens of love and hatred for the sake of Allah, as we detest injustice and transgression. We harbour disdain for the unfounded Tabdee made by Dr. Muhammad Bin Hadi, and we abhor his stubbornness and unwillingness to retract this falsehood. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, stated: “Whoever loves for the sake of Allah, hates for the sake of Allah, gives for the sake of Allah, and withholds for the sake of Allah has perfected the faith”. [16] We ask Allah to include us among those who hate what He hates and loves what He loves Ameen.

In this context, what Faris considers to be from Shaytaan is absolutely not the case in the twinkling of an eye, rather, whoever assesses the situation honestly will discern – by the Tawfeeq of Allah – precisely between the influences of Shaytaan and the genuine emotions of love and hate. It is undoubtedly an act of Shaytaan to obscure the truth or to condone the misdeeds of Dr. Muhammad Bin Hadi, regardless of an individual’s awareness. Conversely, to reject the transgressions and obstinacy exhibited by Dr. Muhammad Bin Hadi is a manifestation of justifiable disdain. From this vantage point, Faris’s attempts to articulate his objections reveal a profound folly, as he naively seeks to label a sound pursuit and stance as misguided. Were this issue trivial, esteemed scholars and diligent senior students would not have taken the time to elucidate the matter and offer guidance on the appropriate stance to adopt.

Then Faris said that engaging in the matter in a manner he finds objectionable will lead to a rift among Muslims. To illuminate this point, we can refer to a hadith that underscores the root of the discord: it stems from Dr. Muhammad’s overstepping and his unwavering commitment to the erroneous practice of false Tabdee, thus he became the one prolonging the dispute because he refuses to abandon this sin. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “There are not two people who love each other for the sake of Allaah, and then they split from each other, except that it is due to a sin of one of them”.  Al-Allamah Zayd Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said: This hadith shows that to love one another- the religious and worldly benefits it contains – is legislated in the Shariah. Regarding the religious benefits of this love, (it brings about) cooperation upon righteousness and piety. As for its worldly benefits, it (results in attaining those) necessities of life that are sought after. Those who love one another are attached and remain upon that until one of them commits a sin that leads to the destruction of this legislated love- the love that was established for the sake of Allah and the sake of Islamic brotherhood. Therefore, it is a good thing that the person abandons the sin he committed, which was the cause of separation between them so that brotherhood for the sake of Allaah is restored as it was before, and so that both the religious and worldly benefits of that brotherly love can continue. The basis of the sin committed by one of them may have occurred without any external influence (i.e. it was solely the person’s fault), or it may have occurred due to tale-bearing and instigated by some of the devils amongst mankind- those who hasten to cause corruption in the earth. Loving one another for the sake of Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic] carries a reward that has been mentioned in the Shari’ah texts. Abu Hurairah [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Allaah will give shade to seven on the day when there will be no shade but His”’…and amongst those people are “Two people who love each other only for the sake of Allaah and they meet and part in Allaah’s cause only”. [17]

It is this very clarity that deceitful Faris attempts to elude, resorting instead to feeble justifications to uphold his absurdities. He mistakenly believes he possesses the right to voice an opinion; however, what is truly incumbent on him is to either convey the truth or maintain silence, thereby avoiding the embarrassment of exposing his own deceitful and superficial comprehension. His misguided attempts to obscure the distinctions between virtue and vice, integrity, and falsehood, only serve to highlight his folly.

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful The Bestower of Mercy.

Although one of his statements equates to Major Shirk, Andrew Tate is a new Muslim; therefore, any mistakes he commits ought to be corrected privately, in contrast to those of individuals who have been Muslims for a long time

Abee Waqid Al-Laythee, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “We went out with Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to the campaign to Hunayn, while we were new converts from disbelief to (Islam). The idol worshippers had a lote tree in (whose vicinity) they used to stay and hang their weapons, and it (i.e. this lote tree) was called Dhaat Anwaat. So when we went past a tree, we said, ‘O Allah’s Messenger! Set up a Dhat Anwat for us just as they have a Dhaat Anwaat’. So Allah’s Messenger said, ‘Allah is the Greatest! This is a path that has proceeded (from the people of the past). By Allah in whose Hand my soul is! You have stated just as the children of Israel stated to Musa, ‘O Musa! Make for us an ilaahan (a god) as they have Aalihah (gods)’. He [Musa] said, ‘Verily, you are a people who know not (the Majesty and Greatness of Allah and what is obligated to you i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone, the One and the Only true God of the entire existence)'”. [Sahih at-Tirmidhi 2180]

Shaikh Abdullah Bin Abdur Rahman Abaa Batayn, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

They (those new Muslims) did not perceive that their statement equated to the deification of others besides Allah, which contradicts the declaration, “There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah.” They affirmed that only Allah is deserving of worship and understood its significance, as they were Arabs. However, the implication of the phrase “Set up for us a Dhaat Anwaat” was obscured to them due to their recent conversion to Islam. Consequently, the Prophet remarked, “Allahu Akbar! This is a path that has been taken by those before you. By Allah, in whose Hand my soul is! You have stated just as the Children of Israel said to Musa ‘O Musa! Make for us a deity as they have deities!’ Musa responded, ‘Indeed, you are a people who know not (Allah’s Majesty and Greatness and what is obligated to you, i.e. to worship none but Him, the One and Only true God of the entire existence).’ You will follow the way of who preceded you.” If it is said, “The Prophet did not declare those new Muslims as being outside the fold of Islam”. So, we say, “This shows that an individual who makes a statement that is tantamount to disbelief or out of being ignorant of its meaning should be notified and made aware of the true meaning, and thus has not disbelieved. However, there is no doubt that if they were to regard the Dhaat Anwaat as an object of worship alongside Allah, especially after the Prophet’s disapproval, they would indeed be considered disbelievers. [1]

Shaikh Salih Aala Ash-Shaikh, may Allah preserve him, said: Those (new Muslims) expressed a desire to engage in that act of worship at a specific location to seek blessings. In response, Allah’s Messenger referred to what they sought after as worshiping another deity alongside Allah. This act they were pursuing was a potential avenue to Shirk; however, once the Messenger elucidated the matter for them, they repented and committed themselves to obedience. [2]

Shaikh Khalid Adh-Dhafiri, may Allah preserve him, stated: Ahlus Sunnah comes together based on the truth rather than merely amassing followers. The term “Tajmee” refers to the act of increasing numbers within a group or party, while “Ijtimaa” signifies unity grounded in truth, emphasising adherence to and commitment to that truth. This serves as a refutation of groups such as Ikhwan al-Muslimeen, who have their “golden principle” that “We unite on what we agree upon and excuse each other for our disagreements.” But Shaykh Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, called this principle of theirs a “Wooden principle” because, for them, the primary objective is to gather numbers. So, how is the “principle of uniting upon truth and not numbers” illustrated in this hadith? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was en route to a military campaign; do you need numbers for a military expedition or not? However, the Prophet prioritised unity based on truth and what is pleasing to Allah. We can see that the adherents to innovation in religious matters and those driven by desires clearly oppose this principle. [3]

The evidence presented above sufficiently demonstrates that the Prophet publicly admonished the new Muslims when they made a statement that is tantamount to major Shirk. It is important to note that no Salafi scholar has labeled Andrew Tate as a disbeliever based on his statements, as the authority to make such determinations rests with the Salafi scholars. For further understanding, one should refer to the Principles of Takfeer, which outline the criteria scholars use before declaring a Muslim to be outside the fold of Islam.

May Allah guide Andrew’s heart to repentance Aameen.

The Perils of Unverified Reports within the Reach of Malicious Bigots and Extremists

In The name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Exalted, says:

يٰأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُوۤاْ إِن جَآءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوۤاْ أَن تُصِيبُواْ قَوْمًا بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُواْ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِمِينَ

O you who believe! If a rebellious evil person comes to you with news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance, and afterward, you become regretful of what you have done. [Al-Hujuraat 6]

Imam As-Sadi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

This is also one of the moral etiquettes that are obligated to the people of (sound) understanding to embody and practice; that if a rebellious sinful person informs them of some news, they should  verify the information, rather than accepting it at face value, as doing so poses significant risks and the potential for sin. This is because when the news from such a person is regarded with the same credibility as that from a truthful, reliable person, one might pass a judgment based on that news and what it necessitates, thus lead to the loss of life and wealth without due right, ultimately resulting in regret. Therefore, what is obligated regarding the news from a rebellious sinful person is verification and clarification. Should the evidence and clear signs affirm the truth of the information, it is acted upon and accepted as true. Conversely, if the evidence indicates that he is lying, it is declared as lies and not acted upon. Thus, this verse illustrates that news from a truthful individual is to be accepted, news from a liar is to be rejected, and news from a rebellious sinful person is suspended (until ascertained), as we have stated. [1]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him,  said:

Beware of kadhib (lies), as it corrupts one’s ability to teach people as well as one ability to illustrate information based on how it should actually be. The liar presents what is present as something non-existent and what is non-existent as something present; misrepresents the truth as being something false and falsehood as being something true; misrepresents the good and the evil, so he corrupts his conception and knowledge, which subsequently results in his punishment. Then he portrays what is not true to the one who has been duped by him – the one who is drawn to him – and therefore corrupts his conception and knowledge.

The soul of the liar turns away from existing reality, preferring the non-existent, and falsehood. And when his conception and knowledge is corrupted, which is the basis of every wilfully chosen deed, his deeds become corrupt and marked by lies, so those deeds would emanate from him just as lies emanate from the tongue- neither benefits from his tongue nor his deeds (i.e. in relation to the specific affair). Because of this, lying serves as the foundation of immorality, as the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “Indeed, lies lead to immorality (or wickedness), and indeed, immorality (or wickedness) leads to the fire.” [Bukhaari 2606/2607]

Lies first emerge from the heart and then on the tongue, corrupting it; then they transfer to the limbs and corrupt their deeds, just as they corrupt statements of the tongue. As a result, lying prevails over his utterances, deeds, and state of affairs; corruption gets deeply ingrained in him, and its disease leads to destruction if Allah does not grant him recovery with the medication of truthfulness, which uproots the source (or basis) of the lies. This is why the basis of all deeds of the heart is truthfulness, and the basis of their opposites is lies, such as boasting, self-amazement, pride, being glad (with ungratefulness to Allah’s Favours), conceitedness, boastfulness, insolence, weakness, laziness, cowardice, disgrace, and others.

Every righteous deed, whether done privately or publicly, is founded on truthfulness. And the source of every corrupt deed, whether private or public, is lies. Allah punishes the liar by preventing him (i.e. due to his own chosen evil) from those things that will bring him well-being and benefit, while He rewards the truthful one by granting him the ability to attain the beneficial things of the worldly life and Afterlife. There is nothing comparable to truthfulness in terms of how it brings about the affairs of well-being in this life and the next, and there is nothing comparable to lying in terms of how it corrupts and harms one’s worldly and Afterlife affairs.

O you who believe! Be afraid of Allah, and be with those who are true (in words and deeds) [9:119]

This is a Day on which the truthful will profit from their truth. [5:119] [2]

In our contemporary landscape, a multitude of ideologues and provocateurs inundate the unsuspecting with a barrage of opinions, creating a labyrinth of confusion through sheer information overload. While possessing the right information is undeniably beneficial, empowering individuals to exercise sound judgment when grounded in solid principles and expertise, the situation becomes perilous when an excess of data is coupled with a lack of integrity and impartiality. This toxic combination allows the unscrupulous to exploit the naive, leading them astray from the true essence of the matter at hand. Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: “If you contemplate the statements of the people of falsehood, you will indeed find them clothed with expressions and presented in a good light with sophisticated terms that are quickly accepted by those deprived of sound discernment to the extent that the wicked sinners would give (good) names to the greatest types of wicked deeds”. [3]

Certain prominent instigators prevent the naive and misinformed from grasping the true nature of reality with clarity. They do not promote a complete understanding; instead, they lead individuals to perceive matters in a manner that contradicts their actual state or create an illusion of understanding despite evidence that should indicate their misconceptions. At times, they leave individuals in a state of uncertainty and confusion, suggesting that they have a grasp on a subject while simultaneously introducing alternative perspectives that appear equally plausible, or guiding them to an understanding that overlooks contradictory evidence, albeit less likely to be accurate. The absence of verification, in addition to this, poses a significant threat as it acts as a gateway for any disruptive racist criminal, bigot, or a terrorist to exploit religion, justice, and righteousness. The current scenario highlights this danger, especially with the racists, whose malicious actions are being rationalised under the pretext of reclaiming the nation and expressing supposed genuine outrage over a Muslim individual who tragically killed three innocent girls. Despite concrete evidence proving otherwise, the prejudiced rioters persist in targeting mosques, disparaging Muslims, and now even turning their violence towards Asian and black people, causing destruction, looting, squandering resources, and clashing with the police. This is all done under the guise of the right to protest. Allah, The Exalted, says:

وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا فِى كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ أَكَٰبِرَ مُجْرِمِيهَا لِيَمْكُرُوا۟ فِيهَا وَمَا يَمْكُرُونَ إِلَّا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ

And thus We have set up in every town great ones of its wicked people to plot therein. But they plot not except against their ownselves, and they perceive (it) not. [Al-An’am 123]

Al-Allamah Zayd Bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: The divine laws of Allah are flawless and comprehensive, as outlined in the Qur’an and the Sunnah. We do not know of any evidence in the Qur’an and Sunnah that permits a small group of individuals to come together for protests that disrupt the peace and waste time. These demonstrations are nothing besides Bidah and misguidance instigated by the devil; fueled by the temptations of the wicked soul and its desires. When these adversaries (shaytan and the evil soul) unite in any affair, they ruin religious and worldly matters, as evidenced by the chaos of these protests. The aftermath of protests and demonstrations: devastation, squandered resources, and the unsettling disruption of tranquility for those who cherish peace. The numerous and significant drawbacks cast a shadow over the very essence of such actions. [4]

It is not uncommon to encounter some of these individuals in a state of inebriation, embodying the essence of vagrancy and violence. Their inability to secure employment stems from their erratic behaviour and addiction to alcohol, their bodies adorned with tattoos that resemble a tattoo catalogue; expressing vehement hostility towards those of different ethnic backgrounds, while paradoxically relying on the tax revenues generated by immigrants in various professions. In their eyes, the misfortunes of their lives are perpetually attributed to external forces. In stark contrast, many immigrants—doctors, nurses, and caregivers—have pursued these professions due to their superior qualifications and educational backgrounds. Meanwhile, the rioters choose a path of idleness, with their arms emblazoned with swastika tattoos. These individuals resemble a circus troupe, mere jesters in a tragic performance. They perceive such destructive riots, acts of violence, looting, and theft as expressions of “patriotism,” misguidedly believing they are serving their country or community. Hence, the devout Muslim endeavours to safeguard sound beliefs, life, dignity, intellect, and possessions, while the racists and those who commit acts of terrorism in the name of religion disregard these fundamental aspects of human existence. Therefore, we do not counteract the negative actions of others with similar negativity; instead, we uphold our responsibilities in our engagements with non-Muslims.

Imam Muhammad Ibn Salih Al-Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated:

Likewise, I invite you to have respect for those people who have the right that they should be respected, from those between you and whom there is an agreement (of protection) [i.e. Non-Muslims]. For the land which you are living is such that there is an agreement between you and them. If this were not the case they would have killed you or expelled you. So preserve this agreement, and do not prove treacherous to it, since treachery is a sign of the hypocrites, and it is not from the way of the Believers. And know that it is authentically reported from the Prophet that he said : “Whoever kills one who is under an agreement of protection will not smell the fragrance of Paradise.”

Do not be fooled by those sayings of the foolish people: those who say: ‘Those people are Non-Muslims, so their wealth is lawful for us [i.e. to misappropriate or take by way of murder and killing].’ For by Allah – this is a lie. A lie about Allah’s Religion, and a lie in Islamic societies.

O my brothers. O youth. O Muslims. Be truthful in your buying and selling, and renting, and leasing, and in all mutual transactions. Because truthfulness is from the characteristics of the Believers, and Allah – the Most High – has commanded truthfulness – in the saying of Allah – the Most High – “O you who believe – fear and keep you duty to Allah and be with the truthful.”

And the Prophet encouraged truthfulness and said : “Adhere to truthfulness, because truthfulness leads to goodness, and goodness leads to Paradise; and a person will continue to be truthful, and strive to be truthful until he will be written down with Allah as a truthful person“.

And he warned against falsehood, and said : “Beware of falsehood, because falsehood leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire. And a person will continue lying, and striving to lie until he is written down with Allah as a great liar.”

O my brother Muslims. O youth. Be true in your sayings with your brothers, and with those Non-Muslims whom you live along with – so that you will be inviters to the Religion of Islam, by your actions and in reality. So how many people there are who first entered into Islam because of the behaviour and manners of the Muslims, and their truthfulness, and their being true in their dealings. [5]

Shaikh Abu Khadeejah consistently emphasizes the importance of Hijrah as Europe continues to become less hospitable towards Muslims. Read: https://abukhadeejah.com/question-about-hijrah-from-the-non-muslim-lands-to-the-lands-of-islam/

We ask Allah to facilitate us with Hijrah to the lands of the Muslims as soon as possible Aameen.

A Clarification By Ibn Al-Qayyim Sheds Light On The Basis of The Extreme Indecency at the So-called Opening Event of The Paris Olympics

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Quote:

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Whenever Tawheed in the heart is weaker and the Shirk in it is greater, it commits more indecency, becomes stronger in its attachment to images, and infatuated with them. Allah says:

So whatever you have been given is but a passing enjoyment for this worldly life, but that which is with Allah (Paradise) is better and more lasting for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and put their trust in their Lord (concerning all of their affairs). And those who avoid the greater sins and indecency, and when they are angry, they forgive. [Ash-Shurat 36-37]

The basis of all sins – major and minor – are three: the heart’s attachment to other than Allah, going along with the intense strength of one’s anger and the intense urge of one’s desires. These three matters constitute shirk, injustice, and indecency. Shirk and invoking other than Allah is the ultimate affair related to the heart’s attachment to other than Allah, murder is the ultimate affair related to going along with one’s intense anger and fornication is the ultimate affair related to going along with the intense urge of one’s desires. Due to this, Allah mentioned the three together in the Ayah:

وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَدۡعُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ وَلَا يَقۡتُلُونَ ٱلنَّفۡسَ ٱلَّتِى حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا يَزۡنُونَ

And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse. [Al-Furqaan. 68]

These three affairs invite to one another – Shirk inevitably leads to injustice and indecency, just as Tawheed [sound Islamic Monotheism] and Ikhlaas [sincerity] turn a person away from them. Allah [The Exalted] stated [about Prophet Yusuf)]: [ڪَذَٲلِكَ لِنَصۡرِفَ عَنۡهُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ وَٱلۡفَحۡشَآءَ‌ۚ إِنَّهُ ۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ – Thus it was, that We might turn away from him evil and indecency. Surely, he was one of Our chosen, guided slaves. [Surah Yusuf. Aayah 24] – Meaning, turned him away from infatuation and illegal sexual intercourse.

Likewise, injustice inevitably leads to Shirk and indecency because Shirk is the greatest injustice, just as Tawheed is the greatest justice. Justice is a companion of Tawheed and injustice is a companion of Shirk, and this is why Allah mentioned both together.

As for Tawheed and justice, Allah said: [شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّهُ ۥ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓٮِٕكَةُ وَأُوْلُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ قَآٮِٕمَۢا بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ – Allah bears witness that Laa ilaaha illaa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and the angels, and those having knowledge (also give this witness); (He is always) maintaining His creation in Justice]. [Aal Imran. Aayah 18]

As for injustice and Shirk, Allah says: [إِنَّ ٱلشِّرۡكَ لَظُلۡمٌ عَظِيمٌ۬ – Verily, Shirk is great injustice]. [Surah Luqmaan. 13]

Indecency leads to Shirk and Injustice, especially when there is a strong desire which cannot be reached except through some type of injustice, such as seeking help through magic and shaytaan. And indeed Allah mentions both fornication and Shirk together in the verse:

ٱلزَّانِى لَا يَنكِحُ إِلَّا زَانِيَةً أَوۡ مُشۡرِكَةً۬ وَٱلزَّانِيَةُ لَا يَنكِحُهَآ إِلَّا زَانٍ أَوۡ مُشۡرِكٌ۬‌ۚ وَحُرِّمَ ذَٲلِكَ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

The adulterer marries not but an adulteress, or a female polytheist and the adulteress none marries her except an adulterer or a male polytheist [and that means that the man who agrees to marry (have a sexual relation with) a female polytheist, pagan or idolatress) or a prostitute, then surely he is either an adulterer, or a polytheist)]. And the woman who agrees to marry (have a sexual relation with) a male polytheist or an adulterer, then she is either a prostitute or a female polytheist)]. Such a thing is forbidden to the believers [of Islamic Monotheism]. [An-Nur. 3]

These three affairs [i.e. Shirk, Indecency, and Injustice] can either be the cause of one another or inevitably lead to one another. This is why whenever Tawheed in the heart is weaker and the Shirk in it is greater, it commits more indecency, becomes stronger in its attachment to images, and infatuated with them. And what is similar to this is the statement of Allah:

So whatever you have been given is but a passing enjoyment for this worldly life, but that which is with Allah (Paradise) is better and more lasting for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and put their trust in their Lord (concerning all of their affairs). And those who avoid the greater sins and indecency, and when they are angry, they forgive. [Ash-Shurat 36-37]

Allah informed us that what He has with Him is better for the one who believes in Him and relies upon him, and that is Tawheed. Then Allah says: [وَٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَـٰٓٮِٕرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَٲحِشَ – And those who avoid the greater sins and indecency – Meaning, avoid the intense urge towards lowly desires]. Then Allah says: [وَإِذَا مَا غَضِبُواْ هُمۡ يَغۡفِرُونَ – And when they are angry, they pardon]. This opposes the intense strength of anger; so Allah mentions Tawheed, pardon and justice together, and they are that which gathers every good. [An Excerpt from Al-Fawaa’id 131-132]

At the so-called opening ceremonies of the Olympics, it is increasingly common to see Satanists, secularists, and atheists showcasing infernal figures and terrifying animals. Quote: The ceremony’s artistic director, Thomas Jolly, said there was no intention to 2mock or denigrate anyone” and explained the scene in question was designed to reference pagan gods. [BBC 28 July 2024]

Allah, The Exalted, says:

And how should I fear those whom you associate in worship with Allah (though they can neither benefit nor harm), while you fear not that you have joined in worship with Allah things for which He has not sent down to you any authority. (So) which of the two parties has more right to be in security? If you but know.” It is those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah and worship none but Him Alone) and confuse not their belief with Zulm (wrong i.e. by worshipping others besides Allah), for them (only) there is security and they are the guided. [Al-An’am 81-82]

Meaning: How can this be justified through sound intellect or to the one with sound understanding that one fears what you ascribe as partners to Allah, even though neither can it benefit nor harm, but you do not fear that you have ascribed things as partners to Allah for which Allah has neither sent down any proof nor legislated it?! The person who sets up a deity that has not created anything as a partner to Allah, [The Lord and owner of everything, the owner of all the means and causes of harm and benefit); rather such a deity is created, neither can it benefit nor harm itself and those who worship it, neither can it give life nor death, nor raise the dead], prostates to it, humbles himself to it and devoted to it, this person is more worthy of fearing (evil consequences and destruction) than the one who has not ascribed another deity as a partner to Allah, but rather he declares that Allah is one – the only true deity, the one with absolute Lordship, the only one who possesses perfect greatness and authority, the only deity that deserves to be loved, feared and direct one’s hope. [An Excerpt from Badaa’i at-Tafseer Al-Jaami Limaa Fassarahu Al-Imaam Ibnul Qayyim 1/352]

Allah, The Exalted,  says:

Or have they taken (for worship) aliha (gods) from the earth who raise the dead? Had there been therein (in the heavens and the earth) gods besides Allah, then verily both would have been ruined. Glorified be Allah, the Lord of the Throne, (High is He) above what they attribute to Him! He cannot be questioned as to what He does, while they will be questioned. Or have they taken for worship (other) aliha (gods) besides Him? Say: “Bring your proof:” This (the Qur’an) is the Reminder for those with me and the Reminder for those before me. But most of them know not the Truth, so they are averse.  And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad) but We inspired him (saying): La ilaha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allah)], so worship Me (Alone and no one else).” [Al-Anbiyaa. 21-25]

Allah, The Exalted, states His disapproval of the polytheists – those who (worship things which they have adopted as) gods in the earth, even though these (so called) gods are absolutely incapacitated and powerless. Neither are they are able to bring them back to life nor resurrect them, and this is further explained by the statement of Allah:

 وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً لاَ يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئًا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلاَ يَمْلِكُونَ ِلأَنفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّا وَلاَ نَفْعًا وَلاَ يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًا وَلاَ حَيَاةً وَلاَ نُشُورًا

Yet they have taken besides Him other aliha (gods) that created nothing but are themselves created, and possess neither hurt nor benefit for themselves, and possess no power (of causing) death, nor (of giving) life, nor of raising the dead. [Al-Furqaan. 3]

Allah, The Exalted, says:

وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لَعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُحْضَرُونَ

And they have taken besides Allah aliha (gods), hoping that they might be helped (by those so-called gods). They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning). [Yaa Seen 74-75]

A polytheist [or idolater] worships a created thing that can neither benefit nor harm, and he abandons sincere worship to Allah – The One Who is Perfect [i.e. the only possessor of Perfect Names and Attributes; free from all weaknesses, shortcomings, and imperfections], and in His Hand is the absolute control over all benefit and harm. This shows that a polytheist [or idolater] is not blessed [with guidance], his ignorance is established as well as the severity of his unjust behaviour towards Allah because it is only befitting that there is only one [true] deity, just as there cannot be except one [true] Lord. And because of this, Allah, The Exalted, says:

لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَا آلِهَةٌ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَا فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

Had there been therein (in the heavens and the earth) gods besides Allah, then verily both [i.e. the heavens and the earth] would have been ruined. Glorified be Allah, the Lord of the Throne, (High is He) above what they attribute to Him! [Al-Anbiyaa. 22]- Meaning: Both the heavens and the earth would have been ruined as well the creation in them.

The heavens and the earth – as one can see – are in a perfect state, intact and in perfect order. Neither is there any defect in them and obstacles [to its perfect order] nor conflict in its organisation. Therefore, this shows that the One who controls and regulates its affairs is One- its Lord is one and the deity [under whose control they are maintained] is One. If it were the case that the heavens and the earth has two [deities] that control and regulate its affairs- two lords or more, then its perfect order would have been ruined and its foundations would have been undermined. That is because they would have been obstacles and opponents to one another; so if one of them wishes to plan and administer something and the other one wishes that it should not take place, then it would be impossible for both their wishes to be fulfilled. [On the other hand], the fulfillment of the wishes of one of them would have shown that the other one is weak and unable to do whatever he wants; and it is impossible that both of them will agree on everything.  Therefore, the wish of The Irresistible [i.e. Allah- the only True Lord and besides Him every other deity is false]- is what will be fulfilled without anyone being able to prevent or repel it. And this is why Allah [The Exalted] said:

مَا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ مِنْ وَلَدٍ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَهُ مِنْ إِلَهٍ إِذًا لَذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلَهٍ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلاَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! [Al-Muminoon. 91] [An Excerpt from Tafseer As-Sadi. Slightly paraphrased]

Making Fun of Any Prophet of Allah, Including Noble Prophet Isa, is Tantamount to Disbelief In Allah

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah says:

Say (O Muhammad): “We believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma’il (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Ya’qub (Jacob) and Al-Asbat [the twelve sons of Ya’qub (Jacob)] and what was given to Musa (Moses), ‘Iesa (Jesus) and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between one another among them and to Him (Allah) we have submitted (in Islam).” (Aal Imran 84)

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

“My similitude in comparison with the other prophets before me, is that of a man who has built a house nicely and beautifully, except for a place of one brick in a corner. The people go about it and wonder at its beauty, but say: ‘Would that this brick be put in its place!’ So I am that brick, and I am the last of the Prophets.” (Al-Bukhari 3535)

Al-Qadhi Iyaad, may Allah have mercy on him, said: “Whoever belittles – meaning our Prophet, peace be upon him – or any of the prophets, or mocks them, or harms them, or kills a prophet, or fights him, he is a disbeliever by consensus.” (Ash-Shifaa bi-Tareef Huqooq Al-Mustapha 2/284)

Some Veses of The Qur’an In Which Noble Prophet Isa, peace be upon him, is mentioned

Allah says:

And indeed, We gave Musa (Moses) the Book and followed him up with a succession of Messengers. And We gave ‘Iesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), clear signs and supported him with Ruh-ul-Qudus [Jibrael (Gabriel)]. Is it that whenever there came to you a Messenger with what you yourselves desired not, you grew arrogant? Some, you disbelieved and some, you killed. (Al-Baqarah 87)

Those messengers, We favoured some over others (by making them superior in some qualities and aspects). Among them were those that Allāh spoke to (directly) and He raised some of them in degrees (of honour). And we gave to Jesus, Son of Mary, clear, evident signs and We supported him through the Sanctified Spirit (Gabriel). Had Allāh so willed, the succeeding generations (who came after those messengers) would not have fought each other, after clear evidences had already come to them (through those messengers). However, they differed among themselves. From them were those who believed and from them were those who disbelieved. And if Allāh had willed, they would not have fought each other, but Allāh is the doer of whatever He wills. (Al-Baqarah 253) [Translation by Shaikh Abu Iyad]

(Remember) when the angels said: “O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word [“Be!” – and he was! i.e. ‘Iesa (Jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary)] from Him, his name will be the Messiah ‘Iesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allah.” (Aal Imran 45)

Then when ‘Iesa (Jesus) came to know of their disbelief, he said: “Who will be my helpers in Allah’s Cause?” Al-Hawariun (the disciples) said: “We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e. we submit to Allah).” (Aal Imran 52)

And (remember) when Allah said: “O ‘Iesa (Jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that ‘Iesa (Jesus) is Allah’s son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad SAW, ‘Iesa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Quran] till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute.” (Aal Imran 55)

May guide or curse those who belittle Prophet Isa Aamin.

Tale-carrying destroys unity, but it cannot be compared to reporting a harmful secret plotter

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Al-Allamah Salih Al-Fawzan, may Allah preserve him, stated: The worst (of the tale-carriers) is that one who hastens to destroy the relationship between the students of knowledge and the callers to Islam, split the Jamaa’ah of the Muslims and incite hatred between them. The one who does this is a Nammaam (a tale-carrier). Indeed, Allah, The Most High, forbade (us) from following and believing such a person even if he swears by Allah.

And obey not everyone who swears much, and is considered worthless, a slanderer, going about with calumnies.

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “The tale-carrier will not enter paradise”. Wars may occur due to the Tale Carrier, the Muslims may split and show enmity to one another due to the Tale Carrier, neighbours may boycott one another and one’s household may show enmity to one another and split due to a tale-carrier. Therefore, we must fear Allah, The Mighty and Majestic, and be mindful of the tale-carrier. (1)

Imam Abdul Azeez Bin Baz, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: This is a threat against the tale carrier. If he is a person upon Tawheed, it is hoped that he will enter paradise, but it is feared that this sin will prevent him from entry into paradise for some time and enter him into the hell fire for some time, just as it is case with all other sinners. The sinners [i.e. those who die whilst committing sins lesser than shirk] are under the will of Allah- if Allah wishes, He will either punish them or forgive them straight away, or He enters them into hell for some time and paradise thereafter, just as Allah says

Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases]. [Surah An-Nisaa’ Aayah 48] (2)

Narrated Anas Ibn Maalik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, “Do you know what Al-Ad’hu is [i.e. calumny]?” They said, “Allah and His Messenger know best”. He said, “Transmitting speech from some people to another people to destroy their (mutual relationships)”.

Al-Allamah Zayd Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali, may Allah have mercy upon him, said, “The subject matter of this hadeeth is about the dangerous (consequences) of tale-carrying in this Dunyaa and the Aakhirah. Indeed, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, called it Ad’hu, and the meaning of Ad’hu is to transmit speech from some people to other people to corrupt their relationships. And in the hadeeth of Ibn Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with him, it is explained to mean tale-carrying, and that is to transmit the statement of one person to another person, or from a group of people to another group, or from one country to another one, to cause corruption.

This is one of the major sins due to its evil and the punishment (associated with it) in this life and the next. In this worldly life, it may lead to murder, chaos, and other similar affairs – events that are in opposition to rectification. Due to this, the scholars say that the tale carrier- the one who transmits speech from one person to another person, or from a group of people to another group, or from one country to another, to sow the seeds of corruption- causes more harm than a magician. This is because a magician might only harm one person, but as for the tale-carrier, he might harm many individuals and the trial is prolonged.

Therefore, it is forbidden for a Muslim to transmit speech to cause corruption between those upon brotherhood and those who aid one another upon piety. And even if nothing like this [i.e. fighting, chaos, killing, etc] occurs, it is still not permissible to corrupt the relationship between the people by way of lies- sowing the seeds of enmity and hatred between them. The Messenger of Allah went past two graves and then said, “Both of them (i.e. the two people in these graves) are being punished, and they are not being punished due to (committing the greatest of the major sins), but indeed they are great sins. One of them used not to protect himself from being soiled with his urine, and the other one used to go about with tale-carrying”.

Therefore, what the opposite of this hadeeth (necessitates is that) it is obligatory to bring about reconciliation between the people due to the statement of Allah:

لَّا خَيۡرَ فِى ڪَثِيرٍ۬ مِّن نَّجۡوَٮٰهُمۡ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوۡ مَعۡرُوفٍ أَوۡ إِصۡلَـٰحِۭ بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ‌ۚ

There is no good in most of their secret talks save (in) him who orders Sadaqah (charity in Allah’s Cause), or Ma’ruf (Islamic Monotheism and all the good and righteous deeds which Allah has ordained), or conciliation between mankind. [Surah An-Nisaa. Aayah 114]

However, there is an exception in this affair when it is carried out to give some sincere advice whose benefit cannot be reached nor can harm be repelled except by way of such speech. For example, you hear a person saying that he is lying in wait against your Muslim brother and wishes to kill him, take his wealth or violate his honour, or the like thereof, (whose evil consequences) you have clarified (for this perpetrator to stop him), but he refuses to accept your advice. Therefore, you go to the person who is unaware and inform him about it, so that he can take precautions. Therefore, speech based on this type of intention and goal is considered to be sincere advice and it is not tantamount to causing corruption, for indeed you are either going to repel harm or bring about a benefit which one cannot do without (except by way of this transmission). And Allah knows best. Stories of the Righteous – Ibrahim [peace be upon him] Part 1

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah – The Exalted- says:

Indeed, in their stories, there is a lesson for men of understanding. It (the Quran) is not a forged statement but a confirmation of Allah’s existing Books [the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), and other Scriptures of Allah] and a detailed explanation of everything and a guide and a Mercy for the people who believe.

The stories of the Prophets and Messengers with their people contain lessons for those who possess understanding. These stories teach us lessons from the actions of good and evil people. They show us that those who emulate the righteous will be honoured, while those who choose the path of the wicked will face disgrace. Moreover, these stories give us an insight into Allah’s qualities of perfection and His great wisdom. They remind us that Allah is the only one who has the right to be worshipped, without any partners or associates. PDF: Prophet Ibrahim_part1

[3] The major catalysts behind the Ummah’s weakness and deterioration- By Imam Abdul Aziz Bin Baz

Arabic text: weakness_part3

Imam Abdul Aziz Bin Baz – may Allah have mercy upon him- continued…..

When we know the disease, which is evident and apparent, just as we know the prevalence of ignorance, the lack of pursuit of knowledge and understanding of religion, turning away from the knowledge of the Shariah, the contentment with worldly sciences that merely serve as qualifications for employment, albeit feeble and inadequate sciences that only equip individuals for work within their country and state, rather than pursuing knowledge that would render us self-sufficient and not reliant on the enemies and failing to fulfil the command of Allah and avoid His displeasure, then it becomes obligatory to address the disease through the knowledge of the Shariah. This is because only a few people pay attention to the beneficial knowledge conveyed by the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and only a few people prepare against the enemies so that the people and the state can attain independence from them. The disease is evident and apparent, encompassing several remedies for the issues that have emerged, such as ignorance, turning away from the religion, and being heedless until the fear of death arose, and worldly given precedence and (became) more desirable, Jihad became a frightening specter appealing to only a few people, the objective shifted from upholding the word of Allah to pursuing nationalism, patriotism, or other objectives unrelated to the elevation of Allah’s word, instead of manifesting one’s religion and eradicating anything that opposes it.

Apart from what Allah wills (to remain in terms of strength, adherence to the religion, etc), the preparation is feeble or non-existent, and the objectives are misguided. Thus, the path to success and advancement in confronting the enemies, the absence of weakness, the path to prosperity and success, reaching high positions and noble aspirations, and prevailing over enemies, all lies in seeking beneficial knowledge, and pursuing understanding in the religion, prioritising Allah’s pleasure over His wrath, fulfilling obligations, avoiding prohibitions, sincerely repenting for past sins and shortcomings, complete cooperation between the state and the people in obeying Allah and His Messenger, refraining from what is forbidden, and preparing oneself as Allah says:

وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ

“And prepare against them whatever you are able of power” [Al-Anfal 60]

There must be physical and material preparation, as well as preparation in all other aspects so that we can depend on what Allah has bestowed upon us rather than what our enemies possess. It is very difficult to confront our enemies with what they possess. And if the enemy prevents you from acquiring weapons, what will you fight with, (especially when) coupled with weak insight and lack of knowledge? Therefore, it is crucial to prepare to the best of our abilities, and it would be enough as long as Muslims strive not to rely on their enemies, engage in Jihad against them, and safeguard their nations, with the intention of establishing Allah’s command and seeking the hereafter as much as possible. This is because Allah says:

وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ

“And prepare against them whatever you are able of power”.

Allah did did not say “And prepare against them like their power” because this may not be possible.
If the Muslims are truthful, unite, and prepare as much as they can against their enemies, and support the religion ordained by Allah, then Allah will help and grant them victory, exalted be He. He will place them in front of their enemies and above their enemies, not beneath them. Allah says, and He is truthful in His words and promises:

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن تَنصُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ

O you who believe, if you aid (the cause of) Allāh, He will aid you (against your enemy) and make your foothold firm (upon faith and upon the straight path and against your enemy). https://www.thenoblequran.com/q/#/search/47_7

Allah is not powerless or in need of people, but He tests His righteous servants with the wicked, to make known between the truthful and the liars, the ones who strive in His path and others, otherwise, He is capable of supporting His allies and destroying His enemies without war, without the need for Jihad, preparation, and other means, as He says:

ذَلِكَ وَلَوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ لانْتَصَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَلَكِنْ لِيَبْلُوَ بَعْضَكُمْ بِبَعْضٍ

That (is what you are commanded) and if Allāh had so willed, He could have punished (and destroyed) them (without you). But (He commanded you to fight against them) in order to test some of you with others. https://www.thenoblequran.com/q/#/verse/47/4

In Surah Al-Anfal, Allah says regarding the story of the battle of Badr:

[وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلا بُشْرَى وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ بِهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ – Allah made it only as glad tidings, and that your hearts be at rest therewith. [Al-Anfal. 10]

This means that He provided them with reinforcements from the angels. Allah says:

And there is no victory except from Allah. Verily, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

Similarly, in a verse from Surah Al-Imran, Allah says:

وَمَا جَعَلَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَىٰ لَكُمْ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُكُم بِهِۦ وَمَا ٱلنَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ

Allah made it not but as a message of good news for you and as an assurance to your hearts. And there is no victory except from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. [Aal Imran. 126]

Therefore, victory is from Him, the Almighty and Wise, but He, glorified be He, sends reinforcements through the angels, the provision of weapons, wealth, and a large number of troops are all reasons for victory, good tidings, and reassurance. However, victory is not solely dependent on these factors. Allah, glorified be He, says:

كَمْ مِنْ فِئَةٍ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

“How often a small group overcame a mighty host by Allah’s Leave?” And Allah is with As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). [Al-Baqarah. 249]

At the Battle of Badr, they were three hundred and thirteen, with little weaponry and riding animals. It is well-known that they possessed seventy camels, which they took turns riding. Their arsenal was meagre, with only two horses among them. On the other hand, the disbelievers’ army numbered around a thousand, equipped with immense power and numerous weapons. However, when Allah desired their defeat, He vanquished them, rendering their strength and soldiers useless. Despite their feeble forces, Allah defeated the thousand with the three hundred and thirteen. Through the facilitation, victory, and support of Allah, they emerged victorious, capturing seventy disbelievers and eliminating seventy others, while the remaining disbelievers were defeated. All of this is from Allah’s signs and His aid. On the day of the Confederates, the disbelievers embarked upon a military expedition against the city of Madina with ten thousand fighters from various Arab tribes including the Quraysh and others. They besieged the city and the Prophet dug the trench, which was one of the reasons for the decisive victory. They stayed for a while besieging the city, and then Allah removed them without any fighting. He instilled fear in their hearts and unleashed winds and hosts upon them until they had no choice but to retreat defeated to their lands. All of this was from Allah’s aid and assistance, Glorified and Exalted is He. Then they were abandoned and did not attack the Prophet in Madina, rather he attacked them on the day of Hudaybiyyah, and the famous treaty was concluded. Then he attacked them in the eighth year in Ramadan and Allah opened Makkah for him. After that, people entered into the religion in large numbers.

The intended message is that Allah, the Exalted, holds the key to victory and serves as the protector of His followers. However, Allah, the Exalted, has prescribed certain means to attain victory, with the most significant being obedience to Allah and His Messenger. A crucial aspect of this obedience is that you acquire knowledge and understanding of the religion so that you are acquainted with Allah’s Judgement and His Shariah in the context of Jihad against your enemy, in preparing yourself for your enemy, in refraining from engaging in what Allah has prohibited, in fulfilling the obligations set by Allah, in adhering to the boundaries established by Allah, in collaborating with fellow Muslims, in offering valuable contributions from oneself and one’s wealth in the cause of Allah, and in supporting the religion ordained by Allah and elevating His word, and not merely (doing so) for a specific country or nationality.

This is the way and the path to victory over the enemies for the leader, the subjects, the elder, and the youth, through religious education and understanding of the religion ordained by Allah. Then, acting accordingly and abandoning what we are doing that Allah has forbidden. Allah says:

“Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves” [Ar-Ra’d: 11]

Therefore, whoever wants victory, support, and the elevation of Allah’s word must change what they are doing in terms of sins and disobedience that is in opposition to Allah’s command. Your Lord, Exalted and glorified be He, says:

Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practice their religion, that which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). [An-Nur. 55]
Allah did not say: “Allah has promised those who are affiliated with Quraysh or Arabs or those who build palaces and extract petroleum… etc., but rather linked the promise to sincere faith and righteous deeds whether they are Arabs or non-Arabs.

These are the factors for victory and succession on earth, not Arabism or non-Arabism, but rather sincere faith in Allah and His Messenger and righteous deeds. This is the reason, the condition, and the axis around which it revolves. Whoever adheres to it will have empowerment, succession on earth, and victory over enemies. Whoever deviates from that is not guaranteed victory, safety, or honour; rather, a disbeliever may triumph over another disbeliever, a criminal over another criminal, or a hypocrite over another hypocrite. However, the guaranteed victory promised by Allah to His believing servants over their enemies is only achieved through the conditions set by Him, and the qualities He has clarified, which are sincere faith and righteous deeds. This is how the religion of Allah is victorious, as He has says:

وَلَيَنْصُرَنَّ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَنْصُرُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ
الَّذِينَ إِنْ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَقَامُوا الصَّلاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَمَرُوا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَنَهَوْا عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ

Verily, Allah will help those who help His (Cause). Truly, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty. Those (Muslim rulers) who, if We give them power in the land, (they) order for Iqamat-as-Salat. [i.e. to perform the five compulsory congregational Salat (prayers) (the males in mosques)], to pay the Zakat and they enjoin Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do), and forbid Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism and all that Islam has forbidden) [i.e. they make the Quran as the law of their country in all the spheres of life]. And with Allah rests the end of (all) matters (of creatures). [Al-Hajj. 40-41]

This is the victory of the religion ordained by Allah. Whoever enjoins what is good and forbids what is evil has indeed achieved the victory of the religion ordained by Allah. This includes fulfilling the obligations set by Allah and abstaining from what Allah has prohibited. And Allah, the Most High, says:

كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ

You [true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief, and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. [Aal Imran 110]

And He, Glorified be He, says:

وَلْتَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ

Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful. [Aal Imran 104]

The righteous who are to receive success, support, and a praiseworthy outcome are those who do good deeds, enjoin what is good, forbid what is evil, establish prayer, give charity, and aid Allah’s cause. They are the ones mentioned in the verse:

وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

“And (as for) the believers it was incumbent upon Us to help (them). [Ar-Rum. 47]

The cure is clear and the treatment is evident, but where are those who seek the cure? Where are those who seek the treatment? And where are those who apply it?!

This is the obligation of the rulers, the scholars, and the influential and important personalities everywhere, and in all Islamic countries if they are sincere in calling to Islam; by establishing prayer, giving zakat, preserving that, enjoining good, forbidding evil, pursuing understanding in the religion, reforming curricula in schools at all levels, and also cooperating in unity against enemies and uniting with sincerity to Allah in work and truthfulness in it, and intending the Hereafter. By doing so, they deserve victory from Allah and His support, as our righteous predecessors did, which is not hidden from the people of knowledge. Just yesterday, when the reviver of the signposts of Islam in the twelfth century witnessed the great ignorance, the nullification of rulings of the Shariah, the abundance of ignorance in the peninsula and elsewhere, the scarcity of callers to Allah, and the division of the people of this peninsula into small states without guidance and knowledge, he believed (or saw) that it was his duty to call people to Allah, to warn them of the dangers they faced, and to strive to unite them on the truth under one leader who would establish the command of Allah among them. So, he diligently worked towards this goal, calling people to Allah, contacting rulers, writing letters about pure Islamic monotheism and the implementation of Allah’s law, and the abandonment of polytheism. He did not cease being patient and steadfast in his mission, seeking reward from Allah after studying and gaining knowledge of religion from scholars. He then focused on calling people to Allah and Jihad, starting in Huraymila, then Al-Aynah, before moving to Diriyah where he pledged allegiance to Muhammad Bin Saud for jihad and establishing the command of Allah. They all believed in this cause, united, and fought against their weaknesses until Allah granted them victory. They proclaimed pure Islamic monotheism, called people to truth and guidance, and implemented Allah’s law among His servants. Due to their sincerity, reliance on Allah, and good intentions, Allah supported and aided them, and their stories are known to many with even the slightest insight.

Then, after the period of stagnation and division that occurred, King Abdulaziz, may Allah have mercy on him, emerged and took charge of this matter with diligence and zeal. He sought the help of Allah and then turned to the people of knowledge, faith, and insight. Allah supported and aided him, and united for him the word of the Muslims in this peninsula on one word, upon judging by Allah’s Shariah and Jihad in the cause of Allah, until its affair was straightened, thus this peninsula (from its north to its south, east, and west) united on truth and guidance with the means of truthfulness, Jihad, and elevation of the word of Allah – the Exalted. The point is that there are many examples of that. Similarly, Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi’s story is well-known, as is that of Mahmud Zanki. The point is that our righteous predecessors, due to being truthful in their jihad during the time of their Prophet and afterward, Allah honoured them and elevated their status. They conquered the two great kingdoms – the Persian and the Roman Kingdom in the Levant and its surroundings. Then, those who followed them in the religion ordained by Allah, Allah granted them victory due to their sincerity and unity in upholding the word of Allah. Subsequently, at various times, individuals emerged with truthfulness and what they possessed of sincerity, so Allah supported and helped them against their enemies according to their level of sincerity, striving, and sacrifice.

The Almighty, Allah, is the one who granted victory to the early and later believers. He is the one who supports those who aid His cause and forsakes those who forsake Him, as Allah says:

أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهُ

“Is not Allah sufficient for His Servant?” [Az-Zumar: 36]

And He, glorified be He, says:

وَإِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا لا يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا

“And if you are patient and fear Allah, their plot will not harm you at all.” [Aal-Imran. 120]

And the Almighty says:
كَمْ مِنْ فِئَةٍ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

“How often a small group overcame a mighty host by Allah’s Leave?” And Allah is with As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). [Al-Baqarah: 249]

However, the calamity is due to our own doings as Allah -The Almighty says:

وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُو عَنْ كَثِيرٍ

“And whatever misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much.” [Ash-Shurah 30].

The calamity occurred from the Muslims’ weakness, laziness, ignorance, seeking immediate gains, love of the worldly life (at the expense of one’s religious well-being), fear of death, neglecting Allah’s commands, forsaking the prayers, following desires, prioritising worldly life, engaging in forbidden acts, listening to obscene songs, and corrupters of the hearts and morals… and so on. Allah, allowed the Muslims to be overcome by their enemies through this and similar circumstances, as He says:

وَإِذَا أَرَدْنَا أَنْ نُهْلِكَ قَرْيَةً أَمَرْنَا مُتْرَفِيهَا فَفَسَقُوا فِيهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيْهَا الْقَوْلُ فَدَمَّرْنَاهَا تَدْمِيرًا

And when We decide to destroy a town (population), We (first) send a definite order (to obey Allah and be righteous) to those among them [or We (first) increase in number those of its population] who are given the good things of this life. Then, they transgress therein, and thus the word (of torment) is justified against it (them). Then We destroy it with complete destruction. [Al-Israa. 16]
We ask Allah- The Almighty- to favour us and all Muslims and their leaders with repentance and adherence to His commandments, cooperation in righteousness and piety, and preparation against our enemies with the necessary things, the pursuit of understanding in the religion, patience in following what is pleasing to Him and distance from His displeasure. We also ask Him, the Exalted, to protect us all from all the pitfalls of trials and tribulations, and the causes of His wrath, and to support the religion He has ordained and elevate His word; frustrate His enemies and unite the Muslims upon truth and guidance. May He rectify the affairs of our leaders and grant them insight. Truly, He is All-Hearer, Ever Near (to all things by His perfect knowledge).

May Allah send salutations (of peace and blessings upon) our master Muhammad, his family, and companions.

The End

Two Rabble-rousers – (Graeme Wood and Abu Qatadah) Rationalising and Legitimising The Killing of Children During War

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] says:

إِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ
When the sun will be coiled up (and lose its light).

And when the stars will fall down (and scatter).

And when the mountains will be swept away (from their places, having being turned to dust).

And when the pregnant she-camels (that reach full-term) will be left idle, without care.

And when the wild beasts will be gathered together (for retribution to take place between them, before they are turned to dust).

And when the oceans will be kindled ablaze (after having merged together).

And when the (various categories of) souls will be paired together (on the basis of their actions in this world) (or: when the souls are returned to their bodies).

And when the female newborn (who was) buried alive will be asked. For what sin she was killed.

And when the scrolls (of the good and bad deeds of every person as recorded by the angels) will be spread open.

And when the heaven will be torn out (from its place).

And when the Hellfire will be kindled ablaze (its burning rage reflecting the sins of mankind and Allāh’s anger).

And when Paradise will be brought near (for the pious).

(When these events have taken place) then will every soul know what it has brought (of good and evil for this Day). [1]

—————————————

“And when the female new born (who was) buried alive will be asked. For what sin she was killed”. This pertains to the custom followed by the ignorant people of the pre-Islamic period, wherein they would bury their (infant) daughters alive solely out of the apprehension of poverty. Consequently, the innocent female child would be questioned (on the day of Judgement): [بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍ۬ قُتِلَتۡ- For what sin she was killed]? This is because it is widely acknowledged that she is sinless, and this verse serves as a (strong) reproach and cautionary message to those responsible for her demise. [2]

Staff writer Graeme Wood from The Atlantic has attempted to justify and legitimise the act of killing children in times of war. This disturbing stance parallels the sinister tactics employed by the Khariji Abu Qatadah. Both individuals align themselves with extremist factions, with Graeme siding with the murderous Zionists and Abu Qatadah supporting the murderous Kharijites. Their alarming viewpoints are evident in the following excerpts. NB: The picture message regarding Abu Qatadah is a quote from one of Shaikh Abu Iyaadh’s articles.

Ibn Umar [may Allah be pleased with him and his father] narrated that a woman was found killed in one of the battles; so Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] forbade the killing of women and children. [Sahih Muslim 1744]

Truly, the view of these individuals to justify and legitimise such barbaric, atrocious, and dreadful act is utterly despicable. Despite their reasoning, they have made a declaration that goes against the innate human compassion for children and the instinct to safeguard them at all costs. Their rationalisations exude pure malice verging on sadism, and they cannot absolve themselves of accountability for their words. No amount of sugar-coated language or purported noble goals can excuse the abhorrent nature of their statements. The proclamations they make are utterly appalling to any parent with even a shred of compassion, leaving one in disbelief. It is truly distressing to listen to or read, causing a wave of nausea. How could anyone attempt to justify such a heinous act against the most innocent, children or infants? This wicked justification paves the way for all perpetrators in times of conflict to behave inhumanely, inflicting deadly harm and unbearable agony leading to the demise of helpless children. One can scarcely fathom the horror and multitude of wounds that a child would suffer when trapped alongside others before meeting their demise! Indeed, the noble Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said: “Allah will not be merciful to those who are not merciful to people”. [Ṣahiḥ Al-Bukhari 7376]

We ask Allah:

After the above supplication, we say, “May Allah guide Graeme, Abu Qatadah, and all those who utter such abhorrent and inhumane words towards the righteous path or afflict them with an ailment that renders their tongues and minds incapacitated. Amin”.
