Imaam Ibn Katheer (rahimahullaah) said:

Al-Hasan Ibn Saafee Ibn Bazdan At-Turki was from the senior rulers of Baghdad, who ruled in the Islamic. But he was a Raafidi, a wicked one and bigoted supporter of the Rawaafid. They [i.e. the Rawaafid] and honoured by him until Allaah relieved the Muslims of him in that year [i.e. the year 568AH] in the month of Dhul Hijjah. He was buried in his house, but moved to Quraish’s graveyard thereafter. All praise and bounty belongs to Allaah. When he died, Ahlus Sunnah were very happy and they openly thanked Allaah. Al-Khallaal (rahimahullaah) said: It was said to Abu Abdillaah [i.e. Imaam Ahmad (rahimahullaah)]: Has a man sinned for rejoicing due to what afflicts the companions of Ibn Abee Du’aad? He said, ‘’Who would not rejoice with this?’’ [As-Sunnah 5/121]

Who was Ibn Abee Du’aad?

Ibn Abee Du’aad and Bishr al-Mireesee: These are the two that encouraged the ruler, Al-Ma’moon, to inflict punishment upon Imaam Ahmad (rahimahullaah) and upon others from the Scholars so as to extract from them the saying that the Qur’aan is created. Salamah Bin Shubaib (rahimahullaah) said, ‘’I was once with Abdur-Razzaaq As-San’aanee (rahimahullaah), then (news) of the death of Abdul Majeed reached us; so he said, ‘’All praise is due to Allaah, who relieved the Ummah of Muhammad [sallal-laahu-alayhi-sallam] of Abdul Majeed Ibn Abdil Azeez . This Abdul Majeed Ibn Abdil Azeez Ibn Abee Ruwaad was a figurehead of Ir’jaa.

The Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said:

فإنه من يعش منكم فسيرى اختلافا، فعليكم بسنتي

‘’Indeed the one who lives long amongst you will see differences; so upon you is to (adhere) to my Sunnah.’’

Imaam Abu Haatim (rahimahullaah) said: This is clear evidence that the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-sallam) commanded his Ummah to know the Du’afaa amongst them and (distinguish) them from the Thiqaat. That is because the Sunnah cannot be adhered to alongside the lies and falsehood mixed with it, except by way of knowing the Du’afaa and (distinguishing them) from the Thiqaat.

In a speech of Muhammad Al-Maaliki at Brixton, he advised his listeners to refer to Ali Halabi and others regarding Brixton’s Affair! So if this view of his was uttered before Ali Al-Halabi innovated and deviated, then what is his stance regarding Ali Al-Halabi at present? That is because a man with fifty years of knowledge should not be oblivious of the stances of the Salafees against those who are well known for their bidah and misguidance, such as Ali Al-Halabi and others.

But if this statement (i.e. directing listeners to Ali Al-Halabi) of his was uttered after the verdict of the scholars against Ali Al-Halabi, then we do not expect any answer from Muhammad Al-Maaliki; rather he has already proven to be a reckless defender of the staunch UK followers of the innovators Al-Maribi and Al-Halabi. Sitting in the presence of a Hizbi Masjid Admin at Masjid As-Sunnah, Muhammad Al-Maaliki did announce his willingness to slander, peppering a 27min defense with their acknowledgement and a call to sabotage most of what the Salafiyyoon established by way of sound manhaj stances against the staunch UK followers of Al-Maribi at Masjid As-Sunnah since 2003.

So instead of adopting the sound manhaj positions, Muhammad Al-Maaliki, to this day, is one who stands un apologetically with the followers of Al-Maribi and Al-Halabi at Masjid As-Sunnah and Brixton.

In his pathetic and false defence of the staunch followers of Al-Maribi at Masjid As-Sunnah, Brother Muhammad Al-Maaliki uttered an evil slander and malicious falsehood!

Indeed, it is amazing that this person is quick to accuse us of being bad mannered, yet it was very easy for him to utter downright falsehood by claiming that the one who criticised Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin is similar to a Haddaadi and that he is a Takfeeri of another type, and that he is similar to Abdullaah Ibn Abee Salool [The Head of Nifaaq Al-Akbar]. This is what exited Muhammad Al-Maaliki’s mouth with much ease on that day-without shame and fear- in the name of defending the staunch followers of Al-Maribi Al-Mubtadi. He had no shame in the presence of Allaah, whilst committing this malicious falsehood, slander and misdeed! This was one of his bizarre attempts at trying to make us feel that we were doing something wrong by being stern against the staunch followers of Al-Maribi at Masjid As-Sunnah.

On the other hand, he attempted to manipulate the situation and deflect blame back onto the opponents of Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin-seeking to play a game with the intellects of his listeners. He knew fully well that he was uttering blatant lies and half-truths in order to deceive-a typical craftsman of propaganda. His quest was not only to utter this massive lie and misdeed, but also to manipulate. He was angry without a valid reason and further plunged himself into thoughtlessness. This is the person who seeks to remind us of good manners, whilst he still feels comfortable with the fact that he has neither recanted from this malicious slander, lie and falsehood, nor has he provided any proofs.

The Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: And whoever knowingly argues for falsehood, then he will never be free of Allah’s Anger until he leaves it; and whoever accuses a believer of something that is not true, Allah will make him dwell in flowing pus on the day of judgement…[Saheeh Al-Jaami 6196]

It has also been reported in a hadeeth transmitted by Imaam Bukhaari (rahimahullaah) that the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) was shown some of that which the people are afflicted with of punishment.  He was shown a man lying flat on his back and another man standing over his head with an iron hook. The man standing would put the hook in one side of the man’s mouth and tear off that side of his face to the back (of the neck) and similarly tear his nose from front to back and his eye from front to back. Then he would turn to the other side of the man’s face and do the same. Hardly would he complete that side before the first side was restored to its normal state, then he would go back and did it over again.  The angels who were with the Prophet informed him that the man he saw, the sides of whose mouth, nostrils and eyes were being torn off from front to back; was one who would leave his house in the morning and tells lies that spreads all over the world.

In his haphazard defence of the staunch followers of Al-Maribi at Masjid As- Sunnah, whilst slandering Al-Markazus Salafi, Brother Muhammad Al-Maaliki stated that we can talk about mistakes but not cause hatred.

This statement was yet another attempt to divert attention from the main issue [i.e. the dispute between Al-Markazus Salafi and Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin was due to the three contemporary figureheads of Bidah, Al-Maghraawi, Al-Maribi and Al-Halabi etc]. Likewise, this view of Brother Muhammad is a gross misrepresentation of the situation because there is no doubt that the Mubtadi’ah (Al-Maribi, Al-Maghraawi, Al-Halabi etc) are to be hated, refuted and exposed. On the other hand, Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin have, to this day, persisted in their defense of these three Mubtadi’ah even after some of the Kibaarul Ulama and senior students of knowledge have written numerous, detailed and unambiguous refutations against them.

Therefore, the least expected from brother Muhammad Al-Maaliki is that he should have given precedence to the clear knowledge based clarifications of the scholars and advise Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin to abandon those obstinate Mubtadi’ah (Al-Maribi, Al-Maghraawi and Al-Halabi)! Is Brother Muhammad unaware of the statement of Imaam Sufyaan Ath-Thawri (rahimahullaah), who stated: “If you loved a man for Allaah and then he innovated in Islaam and you didn’t hate him for it, you never truly loved him for the sake of Allaah.” [1]

Is Brother Muhammad able to justify with proofs and honesty that Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin are upon truth after persisting upon evil for over ten years?! Is Brother Muhammad able to justify with evidence and honesty that his defense of Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin was praiseworthy and that we are guilty of spreading hatred, only because we transmitted the knowledge based refutations of the scholars against Masjid Sunnah’s Admin!

Is Brother Muhammad able to justify with proofs and honesty that his defense of Masjid As-Sunnah Admin was praiseworthy, whilst knowing fully well that Al-Maribi is still upon misguidance?! Is brother Muhammad unaware of the statement of Imaam Fudayl Ibn Iyaad (rahimahullaah), who stated: ‘’Had the innovator humbled himself to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Prophet, he would not have followed his innovation; but he is amazed with his views, so he follows what he invented.’’ [2]

Then why did Brother Muhammad falsely blame us, and why did he slander and falsely accuse us of spreading hatred? Is hatred towards the Mubtadi [Al-Maribi] and his staunch followers a blameworthy affair?!

Is the harshness we have shown Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi and Al-Maghraawi praiseworthy or not?! Are we not following the path of those contemporary Salafi scholars who have refuted these obstinate innovators of today?! Indeed, is this harshness towards innovators not from the way of the Salaf?! Abu Qilaabah (rahimahullaah) said: “Neither sit with the people of desires (i.e. people of bidah) nor argue with them, for indeed I do not feel secure that they will plunge you in their misguidance, or bewilder you regarding what (i.e. the truth) you already know.” [3]

Salaam bin Abee Mutee said: A man from the people of bidah said to Ayyoub (i.e. Ayyoob As-Sakhtiyaanee): ‘O Abu- Bakr! Can I ask you about a word? [He (i.e. Salaam)] said: “So I saw him (i.e. Ayyoub) gesturing with his hand, whilst saying: ”’Not even half a word; not even half a word!”[4]

Yahya Ibn Abee Katheer (rahimahullaah) said: ”If you meet a person of innovation on a road, then take another one.” [5]

Sallaam Ibn Abee Mutee (rahimahullaah) said: ”A man from the people of desires said to Ayyoub As-Sakhtiyaanee: ”O Abaa-Bakr, I want to ask you about some statement”, so Ayyoub walked away and started gesturing with his finger, saying: ”Not even half a statement.” [6]

Therefore, we ask Brother Muhammad Al-Maaliki: Are you censuring us for warning and distancing ourselves from the contemporary innovators (Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi and Al-Maghraawi) and those who deliberately carry and spread their dangerous Shubuhaat?!

Are you falsely accusing us of spreading blameworthy hatred in order to shield the staunch followers of the Mubtadi’ah (Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi, Al-Maghraawi) at Masjid As-Sunnah?! Indeed, this view of yours is a false one; rather it is a deliberate and devious misrepresentation. Do you want us to love those who defend Mubtadi’ah?! Or is it that you don’t want to hear what will destroy your illusions about the Haal of Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin?

Brother Muhammad! We must strive to be honest, especially if it is regarding an affair one finds very difficult to be honest about. We cannot lie to ourselves or against other people just because the truth might require action, and action requires courage by the Tawfeeq of Allaah (The Most High). There was no need to stir the emotions of your listeners and slander Al-Markazus Salafi.

We cannot follow the path of the hizbiyyoon of Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin, who deliberately shun the knowledge based refutations of the scholars against the innovators. They keep on telling big lies and repeating it, whist hoping that the people will eventually come to believe it. However, lies can only be maintained for some time because it has become manifestly clear to all the Maraakiz of Salafiyyah that these people are staunch defenders of the contemporary Mubtadi’ah [Al-Halabi (Murji Mubatdi); Al-Maribi (Ikhwaani Mubtadi); Al-Maghraawi (Takfeeri Mubtadi)], even though those who love the lie will persist upon it, except those whom Allaah guides.

Therefore, brother Muhammad, it is better that you abandon the illusion that Masjid As-Sunnah’s Admin was defended based on truth. This illusion cannot stand in the face of the mountains of evidences against the Mubtadi’ah they still defend. And Allaah knows best.
