Question: With regards to the noble verse: “and seek help in patience and the prayer (2:45), patience was mentioned before the prayer in the verse in spite of the great station of the prayer?
Answer: [This is] because patience aids in performing the praying. The one who has no patience may not pray, may not pray regularly. The prayer requires patience, and all acts of worship require patience.
Question: What is the ruling about the one who hears the adhaan but does not go to the masjid to pray? Will his prayer be accepted if he prays at home or not?
Answer: Praying in congregation is obligatory. He – peace be upon him – said: “whoever hears the call [to prayer] but does not come to [the masjid], he has no prayer except with a [valid] excuse”. So it is mandatory for him to pray in congregation if he hears the call [to prayer] and is able to attend
Al Allaamah Ash Shaykh Saalih Al Fawzan (Hafidahullah) was asked: Is it obligatory to have the intention for all fasts whether they are supererogatory or in Ramadan?
It is obligatory to have the intention for the supererogatory or obligatory fasts. The Messenger said “Verily actions are based upon the intention”. For the obligatory fast it is a must that the intention is made prior to the coming of Fajr. As for the supererogatory fasts it is possible for a person to keep the fast after the coming of Fajr, if he has not eaten or drank after Fajr. It is therefore permissible to make the intention for the supererogatory fast during the day because (the affair) is broader for supererogatory fasts.
The Consequences upon Whoever Delays Marriage until After 30 Years of Age For The Reason of Building His Future.
The Question: If a young man delays marriage, until after 30 years of age whilst having the ability (to get married), Is there anything upon him because he wants to build his future (first) and complete his education?
The Answer: Yes there is something upon him. And it is (the fact) that he did not follow and take the guidance (and instructions) of the Prophet (sallaAllahu alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam), and his saying is (sallaAllahu alayhi wa sallam):
“O Youth, whoever is able from amongst you to get married, then let him get married, for indeed it is better in lowering the gaze and more preserving for your private parts”. (1)
So he commanded the youth that they should get married and he clarified its benefits. And the statement (excuse) that he is distracted (and busy) with studies and with building his future is a false (invalid) statement. And how many people were not at ease during their studies until after they got married. (after marriage) They found ease (and relief), sufficient provision and self-restraint from looking at that which Allaah has made impermissible, like (looking at) women, pictures and the likes.
Therefore, my advice for the youth (young men & women) in general is that they should get married at the earliest opportunity by following the command of the Messenger of Allaah (sallaAllahu Alayhi wa sallam) and in seeking to attain provision; because the married individual wants chastity and modesty (abstinence and protection from that which Allaah has made impermissible), so Allaah the Glorified and Majestic aids him, as it’s been mentioned in the Hadeeth:
“It is a right on Allaah to aid three (types of people)”,
and he mentioned from them:
“The man who marries wanting chastity”.

Al Allaamah Ash Shaykh Saalih Al Fawzaan (hafidahullah) was asked:
Q: What is the meaning of Ikhlaas? And if a servant intends something else with his worship, what is the ruling [on that]?
A: Ikhlaas means to be free from Shirk. That the person’s deeds, his intention and goal are sincerely for Allaah’s Countenance (The Mighty and Majestic)-neither to associate partners with Allaah through them (i.e. his intention and deeds) nor to show off (in order to be seen) or to be heard. Neither aiming (to please) other than Allaah (The Mighty and Majestic) through them (i.e. his intention and deeds) nor seeking the dunya (i.e. worldly material), nor the praise of people, thus a deed becomes one (carried out) sincerely for Allaah’s Countenance because Allah does not accept deeds except those that are sincerely (done) for His Countenance.
Al Allaamah Al Faqeeh Muhammad ibn Saalih Al Uthaymeen (rahimahullah) was asked:
Question: It is said that indeed a bidah is not initiated except that a Sunnah similar to it is abandoned, as one of the salaf stated(1); so what is the abandoned Sunnah as a result of innovating the bidah of mawlid?
Answer: The abandoned Sunnah (in this instance is in relation to) abandoning this bidah because indeed the Sunnah can be by way of [ترك -(abandoning) and by way of فعل (action)]. If the Messenger ( sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam ) left something (i.e. an act of worship) despite the fact that there was a means for action, but he did not do it, then leaving it is Sunnah. So here we say: You (people) initiated a bidah and abandoned a sunnah, and Sunnah here is to abandon this bidah.

(1) Know that the people never introduce an innovation until they abandon its like from the Sunnah.
