Greenlane’s Admin-Why do you hide truth and aggrandize the status of those who utter this statement…..!

—————————————————————————————————————————————–

The statement

Warn against the mistake and do not mention the name of the one who committed the mistake

——————————————————————————————————————————————

Ali Ibn Shaqeeq (rahimahullaah) said:

I heard Abdullaah Ibnul Mubaarak (rahimahullaah) saying in the midst of the people: ”Leave the narrations of Amr Bin Thaabit, for indeed he used to revile the Salaf.” [1] [End of quote]

Shaikh Rabee (may Allaah preserve him) said:

By Allaah! They (i.e. innovators) are mentioned by their characteristics and by their names if the need arises. If such and such takes up the (position) of leading and guiding the Ummah and the youth, and dragging them to falsehood, then their names are mentioned. If the need arises to mention his name, then his name is mentioned. [2] [End of quote]

Greenlane’s Admin: So here we have Imaam Ibnul Mubaarak (rahimahullaah) warning against Amr Bin Thaabit in an open gathering and mentioning his name! These are our Salaf, so where is the evidence of the one who says that it is obligatory to mention the deviated views but not the names of the deviated one. Indeed, whenever our Ulama see the need and mention names of deviants, we will transmit their verdicts.

[a] Greenlane’s Admin: A mention of the Names of harmful deviants must not be abandoned merely based on the assumption that their followers will become more attached to them

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Firstly: We remind Greenlane’s Admin (Allies of the deviants of Ihyaa Turaath, Al-Maghrib Institute etc): Whenever our scholars see the need to mention the names of harmful deviants, we will transmit their verdicts. It will not be abandoned merely based on the assumption that such action will make their followers more attached to them.

Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him):

When to mention names of harmful deviants

See Link

http://safeshare.tv/w/DyFhAcaTKJ

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] was asked about some of those students with a [ورع بارد – an inappropriate or unjustified ‘apprehensive fear’ (1)]- that when when they hear the sincere advisers- among the students or scholars- warning against bidah, the people of bidah and the paths that lead to bidah, and making mention of the reality of what they [i.e. people of bidah] are upon and then refuting them; likewise, [these advisers] would mention some of the names of [those being refuted]- even if they have passed away- due to the trial the people are subjected to through them; and this [warning] carried out for the purpose of defending the Religion, to unveil the deception of those who mix truth with falsehood and those who speak ill of [the religion] in the midst of the people and and thus spread the splitting and differing in the Ummah- they [i.e. those with this inappropriate or unjustified apprehensive fear] would claim that speaking against the innovators and mentioning some of their names is from the forbidden types of backbiting.

Answer: The principle related to this [affair] is about warning against mistakes and deviation, after identifying it as such. If the affair requires making known the name of an individual among the obstinate opponents so that beguilement does not occur through their [affair] – especially those individuals with deviated views or deviation in behavior and methodology, and they are well known among the people and the people have a good opinion of them- then there is no harm in mentioning them by their names and their methodology warned against.

The scholars carry out research in the science of Jarh Wat-Tadeel and then mention the narrators and the reproach stated against them. This is not [done] for the purpose of personal [criticism]; rather it is [done] for the purpose to giving advice to the Ummah in case they come across affairs from these individuals that are harmful to the Religion or lies against the Messenger [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam].

Therefore, first and foremost, this principle is about warning against mistakes. However, the one who committed such mistake(s) is not to be mentioned if that would either lead to greater harm or if there is no benefit in mentioning him. However, if the affair requires that his name be made known for the purpose of warning the people against his methodology, then this is [considered] to be sincerity to Allaah, His Book, His Messenger, to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk, especially if he [i.e. the one warned against] is active within the people and they have a good opinion of him, and acquire his books and tapes. Then there has to be clarification and the people must be warned, because [employing] silence will be harmful to the people. His affair has to be unveiled, but not for the purpose of defamation or following one’s desires [in that]; rather it has to be [done] for the purpose of sincerity to Allaah, His Book, His Messenger, the leaders of the Muslims and their common people. [2]

Al-Allaamah Ahmad Bin Yahyah An-Najmi (rahimahullaah)

Question: This question states: What is your view of the one who warns against bidah and innovators in general but does not hold that names are to be mentioned?

Answer: When something happened, the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) used to say, ‘’what is wrong with a people (who did or say such and such)?!’’ This is correct; but is this said about the leaders of misguidance–those who call the people to affairs of misguidance and the people are put to trial through them? Is this said about them? No; these ones must be mentioned. They must be made known and they must be known, so that the people are cautious about them. As for us keeping quiet about them and saying, ‘’No, we do not mention their names- we neither say Sayyid Qutb nor Hasan al-Banna, neither such and such person nor such and such person”; then with respect to the one who utters this statement, for example: If we were to warn against the people of bidah, then who will be able to say that it is other than these people (i.e. differentiate them from others and that) these are the leaders of ahlul bidah. [slightly paraphrased] [3]

[1] NB: The word [ورع  ] translated as ‘apprehensive fear’ was taken from one of Ustaadh Amjad Rafiq’s [hafidhahullaah] articles.

Finally: We remind Greenlane’s Admin (Allies of the deviants of Ihyaa Turaath, Al-Maghrib Institute and other personalities who carry erroneous views etc): Whenever our scholars see the need to mention the names of harmful deviants, we will transmit their verdicts. It will not be abandoned merely based on the assumption that such action will make their followers more attached to them.

Greenlane’s Admin –This affair is a differing in Manhaj and not Fiqh; Unity can only be based on sound creed and the one who knows is a proof against the one who does not know!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Al-Allaamah Muqbil Bin Haadee (rahimahullaah) said:

Al-Khilaaf Fiqhiy: It is when the evidence can carry this (meaning) or that (meaning), such as the Hadeeth:”When one of you wakes up from his sleep, he must not put his hand in a utensil till he has washed it three times, for he does not know where his hand was.” The scholars have differed in this (affair); amongst them are those who say that the water becomes impure and amongst them are those who say that it is forbidden (to put one’s hand in the water) but (the water) does not become impure and this affair is a legislated act of worship; and amongst them are those who say that it is Makrooh (disliked to put the one’s hand in the water  but not forbidden), because he (i.e. the person) is upon certainty that his hand is in a state of purity.  So the likes of this (affair) is Ikhtilaaf fiqhiy and similar to it (also is whether) the Basmallaah is to be uttered loudly (during the prayer).

Al-Khilaaf Manhajiy:  As for Al-khilaaf Manhajiy, it is a problematic disease such as the methodology of Ikhwaan Al-Mufliseen; for their Manhaj is entry into elections, houses of parliaments and party Multiplicity.  This is considered to be Ikhtilaaf Manhajiy because it is in opposition to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wa-alaa-aalihi-wasallam)…… [End of quote…See: Ghaaratul Ash-ritah: page: 40-41: Vol 1]

Pay close attention to this affair so that you are not deceived- in your religious affairs- by the deceitful false claimants to Salafiyyah. The Maraakiz of Salafiyyah do not have a working relationship with any organization or group that mixes Sunnah and bidah. However, Greenlane’s Admin co-operates with organizations and groups that mix Sunnah and Bidah, such as Ihyaa Turaath, Al-Maghrib Institute. Greenlane’s Admin seeks to hide its reality from some of those unsuspecting Mashaayikh who are considered to be upon the Sunnah-and only Allaah knows our real state of affairs- whilst maintaining their ties with some of the obstinate people of bidah. This is a Manhaj shared between Ihyaa Turaath and Greenlane’s Admin.

Shaikh Ubaid (may Allaah preserve him) said: Ihyaa Turaath mixes the religion with politics or bidah with Sunnah. The Shaikh also says: Their call is a mixture. They call to those who are considered to be from ahlul bidah. http://www.sahab.net/forums/?showtopic=117024

Ihyaa Turaath

See here: http://www.salafitalk.net/st/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=9&Topic=5220 – all about the Aqeedah and Manhaj of Ihyaa Turaath-The associates of Greenlane’s Admin.

After acquainting yourself with Ihyaa Turaath’s deviations in Aqeedah and Manhaj (in the above link) then ask yourself the following questions:

[1] Is it possible for any claimant to Salafiyyah to co-operate with Ihyaa Turaath after being well aware of their clear affairs of bidah and misguidance in Aqeedah and Manhaj?!

[2] Is it possible for any claimant to Salafiyyah to keep quiet about the clear and grave deviations of Ihyaa Turaath [in Aqeedah and Manhaj] after being well aware of them?!

[3] Is it possible for any claimant to Salafi to show enmity towards those who unveil the calamities of Ihyaa Turaath?!

[4] Is it possible for any claimant to Salafiyyah to deliberately ignore the deviations of Ihyaa Turaath [in Aqeedah and Manhaj] and openly declares it working relationship with them?!

[5] Is it possible for any claimant to Salafiyyah to unite with Ihyaa Turaath after being well aware of their clear deviations in Aqeedah and Manhaj?!

Al-Allaamah Saaleh al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) stated:

As long as the Aqeedah (creed) is shaky and blemished, the Muslims cannot be united. It is not possible to unite the one upon Bidah with the one upon the Sunnah, ABADAN.  It is not possible to unite the person of corrupt Aqeedah (creed) with a person of sound aqeedah even though they share the same name (i.e. they are both called Muslims). The Muslims have to be united upon Tawheed, upon the correct Aqeedah, upon the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (Muhammad-sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam). The Muslims have to come together; they have to unite and follow that which emanates from that bond and unity, as long as this does not depart from obedience to Allaah and His Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam).  And due to that, the Messenger (sallal-laahu alayhi wasallam) said:  ”Allaah is pleased for you with three things: ”that you worship Him (alone) and not to associate anything with Him; and that you (all) hold unto the Rope of Allaah and not to be divided; and that you give sincere advise to the one placed in charge over your affairs (i.e. the Muslim Ruler).”

As for the one who calls to the unity of the Muslims even though they differ in their Aqeedah, indeed, this is impossible. The one who wants to unite the Muslims even though they are upon divergent beliefs, even though they are upon shaky beliefs, this is inconceivable. (It is) like the one who attempts to bring together water and fire or a beast and a fish. This can never be possible because a beast lives on land and a fish lives in the sea…

[End of quote: Source: Excerpt from a lecture delivered by Sheikh Saaleh al Fawzaan at Masjid At-Tawheed in Taa-if. Title of lecture: At Tahdeer Minal Furqati Wal Ikhtilaaf]

Therefore, do not be deceived by Greenlane’s Declaration of a conference in which there some of those Mashaayikh who are considered to be upon the Sunnah-and only Allaah knows our real state of affairs-; rather a sensible person should look to the reality and not merely what is apparent. Clinging to the Sunnah does not allow the Sunni to form alliances with some of those considered to be from Ahlus Sunnah-and only Allaah knows our real state of affairs- whilst maintaining ties with the obstinate deviants of Ihyaa Turaath, al-Maghrib Institute and others. This is why when Shaikh Muhammad Bin Haadi (may Allaah preserve him) was asked about attendance at Islamic conferences (or gatherings) of knowledge that are under the supervision of the Jam-iyyaat (i.e. Islamic organizations of illegal partisanship) but also attended by Mashaayikh who are considered to be upon the Sunnah….So the Shaikh said that the brothers are aware of his speech concerning all these Jam-iyyaat. These Jam-iyyaat seek to promote and establish their goals through some of the Mashaa-yikh, so Shaikh said that he does not see that one should go to them.  Some of the Mashaayikh are unaware of the pursuit of these Jam-iyyaat through them; so one should not go to them. http://www.sahab.net/forums/?showtopic=130647

Shaikh Ubaid Al-Jaabiri (may Allaah preserve him said:”The one who knows of a mistake and it is clear to him, then it is not permissible for him to blindly follow a scholar to whom an affair is hidden. And indeed you already heard yesterday that the scholars are not infallible in their Ijtihaadaat. Therefore, it is not permissible to adopt them (i.e. the mistakes of the scholars) as a methodology (to follow).”  http://salaficentre.com/2013/08/2-an-eye-opener-for-the-seeker-of-truth-alallaamah-ubaid-bin-abdillaah-al-jaabiri-answers/

Consequences of Argumentation – Shaykh Al-Uthaymeen

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Shaykh Al-Uthaymeen – Rahimahullaah – said:

There isn’t a person (on the most part) who is prone to argumentation except that he becomes deprived from the blessing of knowledge. Because in general the one who argues desires by that to only support his own statement and by way of that becomes deprived from the blessing of knowledge.
As for the one who desires the truth, then indeed the truth is easy and attainable. It doesn’t require great debates, as it is clear.
Because of this you find that those people of innovation who debate in favour of their innovations, their fields of knowledge lack blessing, having no good to it. And you’ll find them arguing and debating and then arriving at nothing. They do not end up reaching the truth.
( تفسير سورة البقرة / ج2 / ص 444 )

Greenlane’s Masjid Admin Co-operates with an organization that is from the deviated sect of Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen!

Shaikh Ubaid (may Allaah preserve him) responded to the one who considers some of those affiliated to ihyaa turaath as people of virtue, knowledge and sound religion….Listen to audio here:

Points from Shaikh Ubiad’s Response:

*The utterer of this statement is overwhelmed by the proofs…..

*This statement is one of his falsehoods…

*The principle with Ahlul Ilm (i.e. the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah) is that the one who allies with ahlul bidah- neither bringing them to account nor aiding those who confront them, then he is from them even if he-in the apparent-is one who shows righteousness and acts upon some of the sunnah. This does not free him from falling into bidah….

*We have spoken against Ihyaa Turaath in many places…..

*Ihyaa Turaath is among (or within) the Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen sect…..

Therefore, the Salafi is not diverted from the fact that Grenlane seeks to mix haqq with baatil by inviting those considered to be upon the Sunnah, whilst maintaining its ties with ahlul bidah. This is the manhaj of Greenlane’s Admin, whereas salafiyyah does not accommodate ahlul bidah. See articles…

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) warns against Riyaa!

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) said:

“Riyaa is that you perform an act (of worship) and intend that the people see you, praise and commend you. And from that is to perform an act (of worship) in order to be heard, such as reading (the Qur’aan) in order that you are praised and that it is said: ”Indeed, his reading is good and beautiful”; or you perform a lot of Dhikr in order that you are praised and it is said: “He performs a lot of dhikr;” or you enjoin good and forbid evil so that you are praised and commended. This is Riyaa and Shirk Asghar. Therefore, it is obligatory to be mindful of this and that you perform your deeds for the Sake of Allaah alone; and not for the people, their praises and commendations for you; rather you learn in order to act and teach your brothers. And you lead them in the prayer whilst hoping for the reward from Allaah and intending to benefit them, and not out of an intention to be seen or heard.

Another act of Dishonesty and Deviation of Brixton’s Mubtadi Mentor [Ali Al-Halabi Al-Murji Al-Mubtadi]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Betower of Mercy

———————————————————————————————————————————————————–

The Dishonesty of Brixton’s Mubtadi Mentor

Sheikh Muhammad ibn Haadi said, “Ali Hasan came to my house and I quoted to him the full story from as-Sunnah of al-Khallal so he knew of the boycott of Imam Ahmed regarding ‘Abdulrahman ibn Saalih so why is he misquoting when I already advised him regarding this before he printed this book.”

————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

Ustaadh Abdul Ilaah Lahmami (may Allaah preserve him) wrote in 2002:

Refuting the false principle of ‘Ali Hasan regarding getting closer to the innovators due to a benefit

Sheikh Rabee’ ibn Haadi al-Madkhali advised to translate refutations against some of these incorrect principles that ‘Ali Hasan has been calling to so that the Muslims do not fall into them due to the doubts been mentioned.

Sheikh Rabee’ stressed that these doubts are dangerous in that they attack the methodology of the pious predecessors in how they used to not mix with the innovators and refute them.

Sheikh ‘Ubayd al-Jaabiree, Sheikh Muhammad ibn Haadi and Sheikh Abdullah al-Bukhaari also showed the seriousness of these latest mistakes of ‘Ali Hasan.

Sheikh ‘Ubayd al-Jaabiree advised also to translate what is sufficient for the people to be aware of these errors so that they do not fall into them.

Doubt number 1

‘Ali Hasan al-Halabi said in his book “Menhaj as-Salafus Saalih fi Tarjeeh al-Masaalih” p.16 regarding the fundamentals of refuting:

“What will these individuals reply, may Allaah guide them regarding the situation of visiting (innovators), to what was reported by Khateeb (Baghdaadi) in his (Tareekh 10/262) and it seems this is the reason for their fitnah.

On the authority of Ya’qoob ibn Yusuf al-Mutdawi’ who said “‘Abdulrahman ibn Saalih al-Azdi who was a Raafidi and he used to visit Imam Ahmed, and he (Imam Ahmed) would bring him closer to himself so it was said,  “O Aba ‘Abdillah, ‘Abdulrahman ibn Saalih al-Azdi is a Raafidi?!  So Imam Ahmed said, “subhanallaah, he is a man who loved the family of the Prophet, shall we say to him don’t love him! He is thiqa (trustworthy in narrating).”

‘Ali Hasan said commenting on this in the footnotes, “even though it was known that Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal rahmahullaah refused Dawood adh-Dhaahiree to enter upon him (due to his position with regards the Qur’an being created).” Tareekh Baghdad (8/373) in a report that many quote without a good understanding but times have changed and one must look at the benefits and harms and they are two important principles which many are unaware of who are energetic upon futile matters.”

The actual complete story between Imam Ahmed and ‘Abdulrahman ibn Saalih al-Azdi, the Raafidi is narrated fully in as-Sunnah of al-Khallal vol.1 p.501 and it is not as ‘Ali Hasan portrayed:  Abu Bakr al-Marwazi said that I heard Aba ‘Abdillaah (Imam Ahmed), there are a people who write these lowly ahadeeth concerning the companions of the Messenger of Allaah, and it is reported that you do not reject that the one who reports these narrations to be from the people of hadeeth. So he became angry and refuted this strongly and said “this is futile! We seek refuge in Allaah, I don’t refute this! Even if this was regarding the lowliest of people then I would have refuted it so how is it then if it was concerning the companions of the Messenger sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam! Then he said “I don’t write these ahadeeth.” I said, “O Aba ‘Abdillaah (Imam Ahmed), if you come to know of one who writes these lowly ahadeeth should he be boycotted?” He said “Yes, the one who narrates these lowly ahadeeth deserves to be stoned.”

Abu ‘Abdillaah (Imam Ahmed) said “‘Abdulrahman came to me and I asked him: do you narrate these ahadeeth?” ‘Abdulrahman said “so and so narrated it and so and so narrated it.” So I tried to have gentleness with him(to advise him such that he leaves his misguidance) but he continued using as proof that so and so narrated these so when I saw him afterwards I turned away from him and did not speak to him.”

Sheikh Muhammad ibn  Haadi said that Imam Ahmed initially didn’t know that Abdulrahman ibn Saalih was a Raafidi (since he spoke about ‘Uthman and Mu’awiyyah ibn Abi Sufyaan (may Allaah be pleased with them)) because he showed his love for the Prophet’s family initially and spoke well of Abu Bakr and ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with them). However, when it became known to Imam Ahmed that he was spreading these narrations against the companions, Imam Ahmed turned away from him and didn’t speak to him.

Sheikh ‘Ubayd al-Jaabiree said that Imam Ahmed’s position towards ‘Abdulrahman ibn Saalih is his same position towards Dawood adh-Dhaahiree so ‘Ali Hasan is mistaken in trying to separate the two incidents.Sheikh Muhammad ibn Haadi mentioned that ‘Ali Hasan is mistaken to use an incomplete story regarding Imam Ahmed’s position to allow one to come closer to the innovators in the name of benefit (maslaha) as this opens doors to much evil.

Sheikh Abdullah al-Bukhaari said that Ali Hasan’s book should not be called Menhaj as-Salaf but rather Menhaj al-khalaf regarding the opposition in it to the methodology of the Sallaf.

Sheikh Ubayd al-Jaabiree said that these doubts concerning the allowance of visiting and mixing with the innovators in the name of maslaha (overall benefit) will open doors to many to mix with the innovators (and sign pledges of mutual cooperation as we have seen in the name of maslaha).

Sheikh Muhammad ibn Haadi mentioned that these errors are clearly the reason for Ali Hasan’s defence for cooperating with ‘Abdulrahman Abdulkhaaliq’s Ihyaa Turath, Abul Hasan al-Misree, Maghrawi, Adnan ‘Urur, Muhammad Hassan and others who have refuted by the scholars and until today have not retracted their errors.

May Allaah guide us all to the truth and protect us. Indeed He is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful

[15] Advice for seekers of knowledge–Do not regard any affair of the deen to be light and simple!

Imaam Maalik (rahimahullaah) was asked about a Mas’alah (an affair of the religion), so he said, “I don’t know.” Then it was said: “Indeed, it is a light and simple affair!!” So he became angry and said: “There is nothing light in knowledge, and have you not heard the statement of Allaah (The Most High): [إِنَّا سَنُلۡقِى عَلَيۡكَ قَوۡلاً۬ ثَقِيلاً-Verily, We shall send down to you a weighty Word (i.e. obligations, legal laws, etc. (73:5)] All (affairs) of knowledge are heavy, especially that which one will be questioned about on the Day of Judgement.
