A short and beneficial statement about the Adhaan

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Even though the words of the Adhaan are little, they  gather affairs of Aqeedah within them; because the Adhaan begins with the proclamation of Allaah’s Exaltedness (or Greatness) and this necessitates Allaah’s Existence and Absolute Perfection; then extoling Allaah with Tawheed and negating a partner (or partners) from Him; then affirmation of Muhammad’s Messengership (sallal-laahu-alahi-wasallam); then a call to a specific act of obedience to Allaah preceded by the testimony to Muhammad’s Messengership, because this act of obedience cannot be known except through the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam); then a call to success and it is that permanent residence, and in it is an indication to the afterlife.  Then what is repeated of the words of the Adhaan are repeated for emphasis. This faa-idah was sent by our brother Dawud [Markaz Mu-aadh (Slough)].  May Allaah reward him with good and grant all of us the goodness in this life and the next.  Aameen.

Another gift for the Brixton and Masjid As-Sunnah Supporters of the ‘Mubtadi Daal’ Alee Hasan al-Halabee

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Luhaydaan (may Allaah preserve him) said:

Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali: He an excellent man in his Aqeedah and (adherence) to Islaam.  He is a doctor in shariah (i.e. he has a PHD in shariah).  Graduate from the Islamic University; and during his time the leadership of the University was under Shaikh Abdul-Azeezz Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah).  I do not know of the Shaikh (i.e. Shaikh Bin Baaz) criticizing him (i.e. Shaikh Rabee) for anything.  He (appointed) him a teacher in an important Markaz in the university until he (reached) retirement. http://www.sahab.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=142104

A test for the false claimants and illegal partisans!

Zakariyyah Ibn Yahyah (rahimahullaah) said:

I heard Abu-Bakr Ibn Ayyaash (when) a man said to him: ”O AbuBakr! Who is the Sunni?” He said: Is the one that when the desires are mentioned (i.e. when the innovations are mentioned and criticized), he does not become bigoted (in defending or following) any of it.”

The foundation of Ahlus Sunnah’s Madhab

An-Nasr Abaadiy (rahimahullaah) said:

”The foundation of this Madhab (i.e. the Madhab of Ahlus Sunnah) is adherence to the Book and the Sunnah; abandonment of desires and innovations; to take the Salaf as an example and abandon what the late comers have invented (in the religion), and to be established upon what those who came earlier (i.e. the Salaf) followed.”

[3] Reminder: Rebellion

Harb Al-Kirmaani (rahimahullaah) stated regarding the creed transmitted from all the Salaf that: ”If the ruler commands you an affair in which there is disobedience to Allaah, then you do not obey him at all; but you are not allowed to rebel against him nor deny him his rights.” [حادي الأرواح of Imaam Ibnul Qayyim: page: 104]

[2] Reminders: Rebellion

Imaam Nawawi (rahimahullaah) said:

”As for rebelling against them (i.e. the rulers) and fighting them, it is forbidden by way of consensus of the Muslims (i.e. scholars of Islam) even if they (i.e. rulers) are sinful and oppressive.  And indeed the ahaadeeth are manifestly clear regarding what we have mentioned and Ahlus Sunnah (i.e. the Ulama of Ahlus Sunnah) have consensus that the ruler is not removed due to (him being) sinful.” [Sharh An-Nawawi 12/229]
