Avoid Five Things and you’ll be protected Inshaa-Allaah–Fudayl Bin Iyaad
Fudayl Bin Iyaad (rahimahullaah) said:
Whoever avoids five (things), then indeed he is protected from the evil of the dunyaa and the aakhira;
(1) Self-amazement
(2) riyaa
(3) pride/arrogance
(4) power
(5) fame.
