Reminder for an ignorant youth, who praises some of the khawaarij saying that they implement sharia

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Sheikh Saaleh al Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) said:

It is not permissible to exalt and praise the innovators, even if they have with them some of that which is the haqq.  That is because raising and praising them will spread their bidah and makes them from amongst the sincere ones, who are taken as examples from amongst the men of distinction of this Ummah.  The Salaf have warned us against having trust for the innovators, and have warned against praising them, and from their gatherings.  In this regard Asad Ibn Musa (rahimahullaah) wrote: ”And be beware of being a brother of the innovator (by association), or a companion of his, or one whom you sit with.  For indeed there has come the athar: ”whoever sits with a person of innovation; has left the protection of Allaah and is entrusted to himself.  Whoever proceeds towards a person of innovation has proceeded towards the destruction of Islaam”.

The innovators must be warned against and kept away from, even if they have some truth with them. Indeed, the most astray are not devoid of something of the truth, but as long as they have with them innovation, opposition and sinful views/ideas; then it is not permissible to praise and exalt them.  And it is impermissible not to have an objection towards their innovation, because in this is spreading of bidah and belittling the Sunnah.  And through this the innovator will emerge and become a guide for the ummah.

There are those Imaams in every era, who have no affairs of innovation with them.  And all Praise is due to Allaah, in them is that which suffices the ummah.  They are the leaders/guides.  What is obligatory is to make Ittibaa of the straight path which has no bidah.  As for the innovator, then it is obligatory to warn against him, and he is exposed until the people are cautious of him, and until him and his followers are subdued.  As for the consideration that he has something of the haqq; then this does not justify praising him.  This is, to a far greater extent against that which is of overriding benefit.  And it is known with regards to the fundamental principles of the religion that averting harm takes precedence over seeking that which is of benefit.  And with regards to showing animosity towards the innovator, the harm that is averted from the ummah is weightier than what he has of supposed maslahah, (if that is the case).
And had we adhered to this concept (i.e. praising innovators for some good they have), no one would have been judged to be misguided and declared an innovator.  This is because there is not an innovator except that he has with him some of that which is from the haqq and from iltizaam (adherence to Islaam). [1] The Difference Between Wishing Good For the Muslims and Warning Against Figureheads of Bidah

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Imaam Ibn Rajab (rahimahullaah) said: [  أما أهل البدع والضلالة ومن تشبه بالعلماء وليس منهم فيجوز بيان جهلهم وإظهار عيوبهم تحذيرا من الاقتداء بهم ]

”As for ahlul bidah wad-dalaalah (the people of innovation and misguidance) and those who imitate the scholars, but are not from them, then it is permissible to clarify their ignorance and manifest their dificiencies, so as to warn (others) from following them.” [الفرق بين النصيحة والتعبير : page 36] [The Difference between sincere advice and exposing faults]

The Hizbiyyoon @ Masjid As-Sunnah and their ally Naveed Ayaaz [Madeenah dot Com/Islam Nelson] seek after general statements of the scholars in order to divert attention from the fact that there is a big difference between seeking after faults and exposing innovators. So you find them utilizing the general statements of the scholars about the virtues of hiding the faults of Muslims, advising Muslims sincerely, pursuing benefits for them and not to seek after their faults! Indeed we agree with all these virtuous acts, however the hizbiyyoon @ Masjid As-Sunnah and their ally Naveed Ayaaz deliberately cling to these affairs and ignore the specific rulings of the scholars against the figureheads of bidah and misguidance, such as the likes of Halabi, Maribi and Maghraawi.  They wish to utilize such general statements in order to confound truth with falsehood and divert attention from the contemporary figureheads of bidah [Halabi, Maribi, Maghraawi]

[a] Specific rulings of the scholars against Halabi

http://salaficentre.com/2012/07/the-mufti-shaykh-ghudyaan-shaykh-fawzaan-and-shaykh-bakr-abu-zayd-on-grave-mistakes-of-halabi/

[b]Specific Rulings of the scholars against Maribi;

http://salaficentre.com/2012/08/verdict-against-abu-usaama-and-verdicts-against-his-shaikh-al-maribi-both-treated-like-ahlul-bidah/

[c] Specific Rulings of the scholars against Maghraawi;

http://salaficentre.com/2014/04/naveed-ayaaz-madeenah-comislam-nelson-an-ally-of-some-of-those-who-defend-a-khaarijee-takfeeree/

So with this, one understands the difference between general statements of the scholars (past and present) regarding wishing good for the Muslims and their specific rulings against the figureheads of bidah and misguidance.  We ask Allaah to guide those who seek to confound truth with falsehood in order to defend the figureheads of bidah and misguidance or protect us from their false insinuations and plots. Aameen.

Are Refutations Considered Backbiting or Slander? Shaikh Zaid al-Madkhaly رحمه الله

Those who are unable to restrict themselves to the Salafi Methodology constantly find themselves searching for avenues of rescue and escape. One common avenue they engage in is seeking out selective statements of the scholars that mention the ill characteristics of backbiting, spreading tales between people to cause corruption, lying, slander etc, – disgraceful and evil characteristics without a doubt – however defenders of innovators seek to utilise such statements to defend themselves against the refutations directed at them from ahlus-Sunnah, as if the refutations upon them are “slander, lies, backbiting” [!], leading to the common people misunderstanding and becoming confused regarding the methodology of the Salaf.

Hence we see here a beautiful explanation of Shaikh Zaid al-Madkhaly رحمه الله on whether refutations and clarifications of the wayward methodology of deviants, innovators and people of desires is considered “backbiting” or “slander” or other than that from the evil characteristics?

Shaikh Zaid al-Madkhaly رحمه الله  stated : “Refutations upon the people of desires and innovation, and the open-sinners is not considered following up their faults, and it is not considered striving to find faults and shortcomings, neither is it considered an intent to expose the shortcomings and wrongs [of others] as some who fell behind in understanding claim! The affair has become confusing to him [i.e. to the who claims refutations are backbiting, slander, finding faults in others] due to his shortcoming in knowledge! Rather that [refutations] is from the same type as striving in the path of Allah with the pen and tongue due to what is in that from destroying falsehood and clarifying the truth and advising the creation.

There are so many books that have been written upon justice in refutation of the people of desires and innovation, and those who are open sinners, and they [i.e. the people of desires and innovation and open-sinners] have been debated upon evidences from the Book and the Sunnah until the truth was established and upright and understood, and the falsehood collapsed upon itself until it became known [as falsehood].”

[الأجوبة السديدة عن الأسئلة الرشيدة م2 ص128] (via Sahab.net]

Perhaps, the likes of Madeenahdotcom’s Naveed Ayaaz [and IslamNelson] who continues to co-operate with those who cut the phone-line on Shaikh Rabee and still defend Abul-Hasan al-Ma’riby and his likes, should take note of Shaikh Zaid’s رحمه الله speech since the official stance he and his beloved IslamNelson seem to have taken now is a stance of miraculously becoming the “victims”[!]…and perhaps he should consider retracting his slander against the salafis in stating that we desire “chaos” between people. We wonder how long it will take him to realise it is the deviants the likes of al-Ma’riby that cause the chaos between the people, the likes of al-Halaby, al-Maghrawy…such individuals slander and speak ill against the scholars yet silence upon them…whilst unleashing his tongue upon the Salafis who defend the honour of the scholars?! What a terrible state to be in.

Criticism Against a Book of Taleeghi Jamaat titled ‘Hayaatus Sahaabah’

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Imaam Albaani [rahimahullaah] stated that the one who authored this Book [i.e. Hayaatus Sahaabah] is not merely an individual amongst Jamaat At-Tableegh, but he is a figurehead- if not a figurehead of the figureheads. He authored this book and the Jamaa’ah At-Tableegh apply what it guides to. However, this book is compiled in a haphazard manner- the author did not distinguish what is in this book with a mention- first and foremost- of what is narrated from the Messenger [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] with authentic chains of transmission. That is because the speech of the Messenger is not like the speech of others, even if they [i.e. others] are from the righteous friends of Allaah.

Secondly: The author mentioned many narrations attributed to the Sahaabah [radiyallaahu-anhum]- but when it is the case that he did attribute unauthentic narrations to the Prophet [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam], which the people of knowledge do not consider to be authentic based on the science of Hadeeth,  its chains of transmissions and the biographies of the narrators, then it is most likely that he would mention numerous unauthentic narrations attributed to the actions, methodology and manners of the Sahaabah.  Paraphrased…see full discussion here: Paraphrased…see full discussion here: Imaam_Albaanee

Shaikh Uthaymeen praises Imaams Bin Baaz and Albaani, and defends Shaikh Rabee and others…

When asked about Imaams Bin Baaz and Albaani (rahimahumallaah), Imaam Muhammad Bin Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) stated that they are two Notable personalities amongst the Notable personalities of the Islamic nation in the field of hadeeth, in calling to Allaah and in combatting ahlul bidah. He then said that he knows them to be from the loftiest of the scholars in station and vastness in understanding of the religion, even though one of them posseses more understanding than the other; but both of them have goodness with them.

Then Imaam Muhammad Bin Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) was asked about those who speak ill of the Scholars of Saudi, such as the likes of Shaikh Rabee and some of the scholars in Madeenah; so he (rahimahullaah) said that it is obligated upon them to restrain their tongues from speaking ill of the common Muslims, then how about their scholars.  And if it is the case that backbiting a common Muslim is from the major sins, then backbiting a scholar is much greater…

How Should Women Dress In Front of Other Women? Sh.Fawzan/Sh.Uthaymeen/Sh.Albany

Shaikh Salih al-Fawzan was asked regarding women wearing extremely tight clothes, or open clothing that reveals large areas of the chest and arms, he replied:

“What is required from a woman is modesty and shyness, and that she is a good example for her sisters from the women, and that she should not reveal among women other than that which practising muslimaat [muslim sisters] are accustomed to uncovering among themselves. This is more deserving and encompassing, since leniency in uncovering that which there is no need to uncover may lead to [further] lenience which [eventually] leads to impermissible uncovering, Allahu ‘alam”.

Shaikh Salih al-Fawzan was also asked regarding women wearing tight clothing in the presence of other women only, he replied:

“No doubt that a women wearing something tight which highlights her body areas [bosom etc]  is not permissible, it is not permissible except in front of her husband only. As for in the presence of others besides her husband then it is not permissible, even if it was in the presence of women only. Since then she will be a bad example for others if they see her wearing such [tight] clothes, and they will emulate her.

Additionally, she [the woman] is commanded to cover her ‘aura with ample and covering clothing from everyone, except her husband, she should cover her ‘aura from other women as she covers from men – except for that which is customarily accepted to uncover for women among women, such as the face, the hands, the feet, that which there is a need to uncover.”

[فتاوى المرأة المسلمة ص437 – 438]

Shaikh al-‘Uthaymeen was asked upon the ruling of women wearing short clothing in front of other women, he replied:

“It is not permissible for a woman to wear short clothes except if she was in her home and no-one was there other than her husband. As for in front of other people then it is not permissible for her to wear short or tight clothes, or transparent [thin, see-through materials] whereby it displays that which is behind it [the skin and body].”

[مجموع الفتاوى والرسائل م12]

Shaikh al-‘Uthaymeen was also asked regarding women wearing tight clothes in front of other women only, he replied:

“A woman wearing tight clothes that highlight the intimate areas [bosom etc] and make apparent that which has fitnah within it is impermissible…[later continued to say]…the tight clothing is not permissible in front of her mahaarim [any of those who are her mahram from the men] nor in front of the women if it is extremely tight making apparent her initimate areas.”

[فتاوى المرأة المسلمة ص417 – 418]

Indeed the women of the believers [sahaabiyyaat] were at the pinnacle of purity and chastity, modesty and shyness through the blessing of eemaan in Allah and His messenger and in the Qur’an and Sunnah. The women of that time wore covering clothing, and it was known from them that they would not uncover in front of their mahaarim or other women [other than the habitual areas such as the face, hands, feet and such], and this practice continued within the women of Islam generation after generation until recently when corruption in regards to clothing and mannerisms entered into the women.

We advise the women to have characteristics of shyness and modesty which is a branch of Eemaan itself, and from that modesty  – Islamically speaking and customarily – is the woman covering herself and removing herself from any situation of fitnah. So what is upon the women is to abide by that which the Mothers of the Believers and the women of the companions were upon in terms of modesty and shyness.

[Paraphrased from speech of the Permanent Committe of Scholars].

Shaikh al-Albany stated regarding this subject, “The areas of wudu [head/face/neck, hands/forearms, feet], these are the areas of beautification that a women may make apparent in front of her muslim sister”.

@AbuMuadhTaqweem

Who are Ahlul Hadith – Shaykh Rabee’ b. Haadi

Excerpts from the full article – taken from Salafipublications.

  • They are those who proceed upon the way of the Companions and those who followed them in righteousness, in clinging to the Book and the Sunnah, biting onto that with their molar teeth, and letting them (i.e., the Qur’aan and the Sunnah) take precedence over any statement or code and conduct – whether in belief, or acts of worship such as dealings and transactions, mannerisms, politics or social life…

  • They are those who are observant and lie in wait for every group that has deviated from the way of Islaam, like the Jahmees and the Mu’tazilees and the Khawaarij and the Rawaafidh and the Murji’ah and the Qadriyyah and all of those who have deviated from the way of Allaah and have followed their desires in every time and place – they not affected by the reproach of the blamers, in the cause of Allaah
  • They are the group that the Messenger of Allaah has praised and commended in his saying, “There will not cease to be a group from my Ummah manifest and upon the truth not being harmed by those who forsake them neither by those who oppose them until the hour is established.” [1]
  • They are the Saved Sect firm upon that which the Messenger and his Companions were upon, those who have been distinguished and defined by the Messenger of Allaah when he mentioned that this Ummah shall divide into seventy three sects all going to the Hell-fire except one and it was said, “Who are they, O Messenger of Allaah?” He said, “They are those who are upon that which I and my Comapnions are upon.”
  • And this is not something we say in exageration or a mere claim, but verily we speak a reality that the text of the Qur’aan and the Sunnah bears witness to, which history bears witness to, and to which their (i.e., the Ahlul-Hadeeth’s) statements, their state of affairs, their writings and works also bear witness to. They are those who put before their eyes the statement of Allaah: And hold fast, all of you together, to the rope of Allaah. [2]….

  • They are the most staunch in distancing themselves from opposing the command of the Messenger and the most distant from fitnah…
