[2] Why some people refuse to accept truth after its clarification? Short Reminders from Al-Allaamah Abdur-Rahmaan Ibn Yahyah Al-Mu-allimee (rahimahullaah)]

Firstly: A person sees that by acknowledging the truth, it would necessitate that he was upon falsehood, because a person is nurtured upon a religion, creed, school of thought or views inherited from his nurturer and teacher, which he considers to be the truth. So when it is manifested that those affairs are falsehood, it becomes difficult for him to acknowledge that. This is because he sees that the deficiencies of his teacher or nurturer necessitate his own deficiencies and an acknowledgement of their misguidance or errors necessitates his own deficiencies. [1] Why some people refuse to accept truth after its clarification? Short Reminders from Al-Allaamah Abdur-Rahmaan Ibn Yahyah Al-Mu-allimee (rahimahullaah)

The Religion comprises of various levels: Refraining from the prohibited affairs and fulfilment of commandments; acknowledging truth, belief in it and being aware of it.  To oppose one’s desires by refraining (from falsehood) for the sake of the truth is something very clear, for indeed most of what is prohibited are the lusts and (evil) pleasures.  It may be that a person does not really desire anything of those (prohibited) things in particular, but he merely desires them due to an opponent. To oppose one’s desires–by way of action– for the sake of the truth is a manifest affair due to the responsibility and difficulty it necessitates, and this occurs from different angles…. A brief response by Shaikh Fawzaan regarding the one who says that praising ahlul bidah is permissible because the Messenger praised the khawaarij

Shaikh Fawzaan responds to the statement of the one who says that praising ahlul bidah is permissible because the Messenger praised the khawaarij

This questioner from Britain says:

We have a caller who says that indeed it is permissible to praise Ahlul Bidah and that indeed the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) praised the Khawaarij by way of his statement: A people will appear amongst you, you will belittle your prayers compared to their prayer….etc

Answer: This is not a praise from the Messenger –sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam-; he (i.e. this caller) did not complete the hadeeth (which is) ‘’They (i.e. Khawaarij) will exit the religion just as an arrow goes through its target.” The end of the Hadeeth (is), ‘’ ‘They (i.e. Khawaarij) will exit the religion just as an arrow goes through its target.” The Messenger-sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam- intended to rebuke them and warn against them, and it is not praise… Listen to audio on this link: http://www.sahab.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=155460

Reminder: Shaikh Rabee says: Whenever the desires increase, it becomes necessary upon the people of truth to increase in acquainting themselves with the truth

Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadi (may Allaah preserve him) said: It is obligated on the people of truth to exercise patience and increase in adhering to this religion of truth. Whenever the desires become abundant, it becomes necessary to increase in acquainting (oneself) with the truth and adhering to it, as the Messenger (alayhis salaatu was-salaam) said:

The one who lives long amongst you will see a lot of differences, so upon you is that you follow my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided khulafaa. Bite onto it with your molar teeth (i.e. hold onto it firmly) and beware of newly invented matters (in the religion), for every newly invented matter (in the religion) is a bidah and every bidah is misguidance.’’

The Blessings of Safety, Health and Provision, So Let Us Be Grateful O Slaves of Allaah!

Ubaidullaah Ibn Mihsan Al-Khatmiy narrated from his father that the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: “Whoever among you wakes up (in the morning) safe in his property, healthy in his body and has his daily nourishment, it is as if he has been granted the entire world.

The Appointed Term of Every Nation Will Come To Pass!

Allaah (The Most High) said:

وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ۬‌ۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَأۡخِرُونَ سَاعَةً۬‌ۖ وَلَا يَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ

And every nation has its appointed term; when their term is reached, neither can they delay it nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment).” [Soorah Al-A’raaf: Ayah 34]

Indeed, Allaah created the children of Aadam from the earth (i.e. their father Aadam was created from clay); then He (The Most High) made them reside on the earth and appointed for them a period of residence in it.  No nation amongst the nations can advance or delay its appointed term—neither the nations as whole nor the individuals of those nations can advance or delay their appointed term. Story Telling -An Evil Affair That Grips Many during Times of Fitan, So Beware!

Ibn Umar (radiyallaahu-anhumaa) said:

There was neither story telling in the time of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) nor in the time of Abu Bakr (radiyallaahu-anhu), neither in the time of Umar (radiyallaahu-anhu) nor in the time of Uthmaan (radiyallaahu-anhu); rather story telling started in the time of Fitan.” (i.e. during the times of trials and tribulations).

Magic is not cured with Magic!

Question to Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him): What is the ruling on curing magic with magic out of a need?

Answer:
There is no need; there is no need; magic is not cured with disbelief because magic is disbelief,—Allaah’s refuge is sought—be it learning, teaching and acting upon it. Disbelief is not (used) as a cure. He (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: ‘’Seek (medical treatment) but do not with what is Haraam.” Abdullaah Ibn Mas’ood (radiyallaahu-anhu) stated as (reported) in Bukhaari: ”Indeed Allaah has not placed your cure in that which He has forbidden for you.”
