Ghausia’s – [Soofee Masjid – Stoke On Trent] – Return to Celebration of The Bidah of Mawlid! [Will Markaz Tawheed Aid Them to Raise Funds Again or Sincerely Strive to Refrain From All Deeds That Are Tantamount to Aiding Ahlul Bidah?!]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Imaam Al-Barbahaaree [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated, “From the Sunnah is that you do not help anyone in disobedience to Allah, whether they be parents or any of the creation. There is no obedience to a human in disobedience to Allah and no one is to be loved for that; rather all of that is to be hated for [the sake of Allah], the Blessed and Most High”.

Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Alaah preserve him] stated: This is a fundamental principle from the fundamental principles of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah that has been derived from the statement of the [Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam)] that, “There is no obedience to the creation in disobedience to the Creator”. And he [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] said, “Obedience is only in that which is good”. Therefore, whoever commands disobedience to Allah is not to be obeyed. He is not to be obeyed in disobedience, whether your father, mother, or from the closest of the people to you, a ruler or a King. He is not to be followed in disobedience. Allaah [The Exalted] stated about the Jews and Christians when they followed [their Rabis and Monks] in disobedience:

[ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ أَحۡبَارَهُمۡ وَرُهۡبَـٰنَهُمۡ أَرۡبَابً۬ا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ – They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allaah (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allaah)]. [Surah At-tawbah, Aayah 31]

And regarding the statement of Imaam Barbahaaree, “Whether they be parents or any of the creation”, Allaah [The Exalted] said about parents:

وَوَصَّيۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ بِوَٲلِدَيۡهِ حَمَلَتۡهُ أُمُّهُ ۥ وَهۡنًا عَلَىٰ وَهۡنٍ۬ وَفِصَـٰلُهُ ۥ فِى عَامَيۡنِ أَنِ ٱشۡڪُرۡ لِى وَلِوَٲلِدَيۡكَ إِلَىَّ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
وَإِن جَـٰهَدَاكَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تُشۡرِكَ بِى مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمٌ۬ فَلَا تُطِعۡهُمَا‌ۖ وَصَاحِبۡهُمَا فِى ٱلدُّنۡيَا مَعۡرُوفً۬ا‌ۖ وَٱتَّبِعۡ سَبِيلَ مَنۡ أَنَابَ إِلَىَّ‌ۚ َ

And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years give thanks to Me and to your parents, unto Me is the final destination. But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance.

Allah [The Exalted] said:

[وَوَصَّيۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ بِوَٲلِدَيۡهِ حُسۡنً۬ا‌ۖ وَإِن جَـٰهَدَاكَ لِتُشۡرِكَ بِى مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمٌ۬ فَلَا تُطِعۡهُمَآ‌ۚ إِلَىَّ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ – And We have enjoined on man to be good and dutiful to his parents, but if they strive to make you join with Me (in worship) anything (as a partner) of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not. Unto Me is your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do]. [Surah Al-Ankabut. Aayah 8]

There is no obedience to the creation in disobedience to the Creator, regardless who that may be, even if he is the closest of the people to you, such as the two parents; then what about other than them! The above is the first reminder to ourselves and Markaz Tawheed that none is to be aided in disobedience to Allaah, especially with regards to affairs of the infallible Aqeedah and Manhaj ordained by Allaah [The Exalted]. Firstly, instead of quickly recanting this mistake, some individuals at Markaz Tawheed desperately fished in the murky waters and attempted to falsely claim that a brother at Masjid Abi Hurairah/Masjid Al-Furqan is guilty of wrongdoing in his business dealings. Secondly, prior to the above incidents, some individuals at Markaz Tawheed attempted to dupe the unsuspecting people by claiming that co-operation with ahlul bidah is permissible if it is bring about a religious benefit, and they also sought to back this falsehood by claiming that there are upright scholars who sit with ahlul bidah. Therefore, what excuse can Markaz Tawheed offer at present after it has become absolutely clear that co-operating with ahlul bidah is forbidden as well as the fact that the people (Ghausia Masjid- Soofees) they’ve aided through that funfair have once again opely procliamed what they are upon! Therefore, beisides the fact that it is incumbent upon them to refrain from co-operating with ahlul bidah in future, they are also required to distance themselves from everyone who co-operates with ahlul bidah, such as the likes of Greenlane. Finally, we remind Markaz Tawheed as follows: “All of you hold onto the Rope of Allaah [i.e. The Qur’aan and authentic Sunnah]- Allaah will aid you in this and make you like the sun; return to the understanding of the righteous predecessors, and it is, as I said to you, transmitted (and established) in your presence. This is a challenge to those who oppose this. We are challenging ahlul bidah wal ahwaa [the proponents of innovation in religious affairs and followers of desires] in their creed and politics. We say, between us and you is the (path, understanding of the) pious predecessors and books (of the pious predecessors). Ahmad [i.e. Imaam Ahmad] used to say to the proponents of innovation in religious affairs, “Between us and you are the funerals (i.e. whose funeral will be attended by ahlus sunnah in great numbers)”. We say (i.e. at present), “Between us and you are the books (of the pious predecessors)- the books are present!

Allaah said to His Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him]: [قل فَأْتُوا بِالتَّوْرَاةِ فَاتْلُوهَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ – All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel made unlawful for himself before the Taurat (Torah) was revealed. Say (O Muhammad ): “Bring here the Taurat (Torah) and recite it, if you are truthful”]- So they bring the Torah and you proof them to be upon falsehood. We bring the books of the pious predecessors – the Qur’an, the Sunnah, the books of Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood, at-Tirmidhi, an-Nasaa’ee, and what was authored by Ahmad and others; we bring them (to prove) those who are on the path of these (pious predecessors) and those who turn away and oppose them. Just as Allaah challenged the Jews to bring the Torah, so the Torah was brought and they were exposed them, (likewise), we challenge these people to bring the books of the pious predecessors, so that the innovator in religious affairs is exposed, and to clarify who the deviants are- whether us or them? Are they able to challenge? Can they open their mouths like this? We fill our mouths with courage – challenge everyone who says that we are upon other than methodology of the pious predecessors. We, by Allaah, call to the methodology of the pious predecessors- to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him]. We use the book of Allaah and the Sunnah as proof for our beliefs, our acts of worship, dealings with rulers and their subjects, in dealing with the groups and sects. As for the others, they are upon tricks, deception etc By Allaah, you will not find with them anything but tricks and manipulating the emotions of youth”. [Paraphrased. [12] The Affair of Markaz Tawheed: [Nosey Parkers and Time Wasters Amongst Hizbiyyoon Ask Pathetic and Irrelevant Question]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Indeed, after being rebutted for their corrupt Manhaj and the pathetic doubts they seek to attribute to Salafiyyah, such as their doubts related to cooperating with ahlul bidah [see here], some of the blazing hizbiyyoon at Markaz Tawheed have now manifested the fact that they are pathetic nosy parkers and time wasters! Laughable indeed is the affair of that specific or specific pathetic hizbiyyoon who want to know how a Salafi brother bought his house.

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ وَنَعۡلَمُ مَا تُوَسۡوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفۡسُهُ ۥ‌ۖ وَنَحۡنُ أَقۡرَبُ إِلَيۡهِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ ٱلۡوَرِيدِ
إِذۡ يَتَلَقَّى ٱلۡمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٌ۬
مَّا يَلۡفِظُ مِن قَوۡلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيۡهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ۬

And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). (Remember!) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being after he or she has attained the age of puberty), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions). Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). [Surah Qaaf. Aayaat 16-18]

Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all the limbs humble themselves before the tongue and say: ”Fear Allaah for our sake, (for) we are with you; if you are upright, we will be upright; and if you are crooked, we will become crooked”. (1)

Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Whoever can guarantee (the chastity of) what is between his two jaw bones and what is between his two legs (i.e. his mouth, his tongue and his private parts), I guarantee Paradise for him”. (2) Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “This requires two affairs: profuse remembrance (of Allaah) and keeping away from gatherings of heedlessness and doubts, and (keeping away from) that which will result in fornication and nonsense speech”. (3)

Abu Hurayrah [may Allaah be pleased with him] said that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “Part of the perfection of one’s Islam is his leaving that which does not concern him”. [Hadith 12. An-Nawawi]

Imaam Ibn Qudaamah Al-Maqdisee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Know that whoever is acquainted with the worth of his era and that it is his main capital, he will not seek an understanding except in what is beneficial. This acquaintance obligates restraining one’s tongue from speaking about that which does not concern him, for indeed the one who abandons the remembrance of Allaah (The Most High) and busies himself with what does not concern him, he is like one who is able to get hold of a gem but exchanges it for a clod of earth. This is a loss of one’s lifespan”. (4)

Abdur-Rahmaan Al-Umari [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “If a servant of Allaah is one who keeps away from the doubtful matters due fear of falling into the forbidden and risk ruining an affair his in the hereafter, he will abandon what does not concern him and will concern himself with what concerns him”.

Fudayl Ibn Iyaad [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “The people claim that keeping away from the doubtful matters out of fear of falling into the forbidden and thus risk ruining an affair in Hereafter is very difficult; but I do not come across two affairs, except that I select the affair that is more difficult for me (to abandon), therefore, leave what makes you doubtful for what is not doubtful”.

Hassaan Bin Abee Sinaan [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “There is not anything easier than keeping away from the doubtful matters due to fear of falling into the forbidden and ruining an affair of yours in the Hereafter, therefore, when you are doubt about something, leave it”.

Umar Bin Abdul Azeez [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Whoever makes his speech reckon with his actions, then his speech in that which does not concern him will be little”. (5)

Sufyan [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “It is obligated on you to have the fear of Allaah that will keep you away from doubtful matters and your giving account on the day of Judgement will be less severe, leave what makes you doubtful for that which does not make you doubtful, abandon doubt for certainty, and your religion will be safe”. (6)

Time Wasting:

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him], “Time wasting is more serious than death because it cuts you off from Allaah and the home of the afterlife, whereas death cuts you off from the worldly life and its people”. (7) “The greatest profit in the worldly life is that you preoccupy yourself- every time- with what is more worthy (or obligatory), and with what is more beneficial for (you) in the hereafter”. (8)

Reminder Given By Shaikh Abu Khadeejah to Brothers at Masjid Al-Furqan (Stoke) About Constant Learning and Opponents of The Sound Salafi Manhaj

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Few years ago, when Masjid Abi Hurairah was not established yet, the Shurah of Masjid Furqan – together with Ustaadh Abu Tasneem [may Allaah preserve him] – visited beloved Shaikh Abdul Waahid Abu Khadeejah [may Allaah preserve him] at his house. Shaikh Abu Khadeejah enquired about study circles in Stoke and then said, “The Dawah you do will not be tested unless there are regular lessons and clarifications”.

Indeed, this is being experienced at present after few years of regular study circles in the Masjid and clarifications on the Minbar when needed. Those specific hizbiyyoon at Markaz Tawheed have now openly declared what they are upon, therefore, besides the study circles in the Masjid, there has to be constant clarifications on Manhaj issues – during study circles and on the Minbar – whenever the need arises. Let us be warned against complacency, laziness and fear of blame in that which is an obligation. We remind you of the danger of refraining from giving clarification when needed, as Al-Allaamah Abdur Rahmaan Bin Yahyah Al-Mu’allimee Al-Yamaanee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Some of the scholars hold that when the Christians first exceeded the limits regarding the status of Eesaa [peace be upon him], those who exceeded the limits used to accuse everyone who rebuke them that such a person is one who hates Eesaa and belittles him, so this became the greatest means to spreading exaggeration because the small group of people who followed the truth saw that if they rebuke the ones who exceeded the limits, they would be attributed to something that is more repugnant, such as the accusation that they hate Eesaa and belittle him, as well as being hated by the majority of the people and harmed. Therefore, this held them back from rebuking those who exceeded the limits and thus shaytaan was free to do what he wanted”. (1)

So, understand this very well O Salafiyyoon of Stoke! It was not the Admin of Masjid Furqan and Masjid Abi Hurairah that came out and cooperated with ahlul bidah in the name of Salafiyyah, rather it was Markaz Tawheed who initiated this affair. Therefore, O Salafiyyoon of Stoke! Be truthful and let us be careful of sinful silence. Ibn Aqeel [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “If the truthful ones were to keep silent and the falsifiers speak, then the creation would have relinquished what they have witnessed [of truth] and reject what they have not witnessed. So when the devout ones desire to revive the Sunnah, the people would reject it and think that it is bidah”. (2)

Indeed, we have a fine example in our elder teachers [Shaikh Abu Khadeejah, Shaikh Abu Iyaad, Shaikh Abdul Ilaah, Shaikh Uwais At-Taweel, Shaikh Abu Idrees, Shaikh Abu Hakeem and others], because this is what they know from the upright scholars of this Ummah. Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “The student of knowledge is very eager not to hide anything he knows. He is eager to clarify the truth and refute the opponents of the Religion of Islaam. He is neither lackadaisical nor does he seek to escape. He is always manifesting due to his endurance. So when the opponents of Islaam appear with that which obscures and defames Islaam, he brings forth refutation against them by writing, and by word of mouth, and other than that. He is neither lackadaisical nor does he say, ”these affairs are for other than me”, rather he says, ”it is for me, it is for me”. Even if there are other scholars, he still fears that the affair will slip away. So he is constantly salient and does not seek to escape, rather he comes forward at the appropriate time in order to aid the haqq, and refute the opponents of Islaam by writing and other than it…by means of the radio, or the newspapers, or TV, or through any means he can. He also does not hide what he has of knowledge, rather he writes, gives khutbah and refutes the people of innovation and other than them from the opponents of Islaam, with what Allaah has bestowed upon him of strength, in accordance to his knowledge, and with that which Allaah has made easy for him of various capabilities. Allaah [The Exalted] said:

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَا أَنزَلْنَا مِنْ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالْهُدَى مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا بَيَّنَّاهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِي الْكِتَابِ أُوْلَئِكَ يَلْعَنُهُمْ اللَّهُ وَيَلْعَنُهُمْ اللاَّعِنُونَ
إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَأَصْلَحُوا وَبَيَّنُوا فَأُوْلَئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنَا التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ

Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which WE have sent down, after WE have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allaah and cursed by the cursers. Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful. (3)

[11] The Affair of Markaz at-Tawheed: [General Statements By Way of Which Reality Is Concealed- Truth Mixed With Falsehood]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allaah [The Most High] said: [وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا الْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ – And mix not truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth while you know (the truth)]. [Surah Al-Baqarah. Aayah 42]

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: Allaah forbade (us) from mixing truth with falsehood, and thus leading to concealment of the truth. Mixing truth with false is by mixing the two until one of them is confused for the other. This is forgery and deceit by way of which what is made apparent is the opposite of what it is in reality. Likewise, when truth is confounded with falsehood, the culprit manifests falsehood in the image of truth and speaks with a statement that carries two meanings- a correct meaning and false meaning, so the listener is under the illusion that the speaker intends the correct meaning, whilst he (i.e. the speaker) intends the corrupt meaning. (1)

[A] The blazing hizbi or those specific hizbiyyoon stated, “Knowledge is taken from the Quran and Sunnah and this is our Dawah and what we should busy ourselves with”.

Response: This is a statement of truth, but the hizbiyyah they are upon – cooperating with ahlul bidah until that led them to aid the soofees in that would strengthen their bidah – is not from the Qur'aan and Sunnah. [B] The blazing hizbi or those specific hizbiyyoon stated, “That cooperation on good is commanded in the Quran and has been acted upon by the Salaf and recent Scholars of this Ummah”.

Response: This is a statement of truth, but this is neither extended to ahlul bidah nor do we use scholars as an alibi to cooperate with ahlul bidah. Refer to articles:

[C] The blazing hizbi or those specific hizbiyyoon stated, “Cooperation with a person of innovation does not take you out of the Salafi manhaj unconditionally. “Taking knowledge and benefiting from the people of innovation does not make one an innovator unconditionally”.

Response: The Salaf neither listen to ahlul bidah nor sat with them. However, the only ones allowed to approach them are those scholars who are strong in both knowledge and character as Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi mentioned. [E] The blazing hizbi or those specific hizbiyyoon stated, “One should fear Allah and not excessively praise, refute or busy oneself with fault finding and refuting”. “Busy yourself with beneficial knowledge of the Quran and Sunnah and not backbiting and slander”.

Response: Hizbiyyoon love general and ambiguous statements. Indeed the above statement needs clarity with examples that distinguishes between truth and falsehood in the affairs mentioned, otherwise benefit is not acquired, as Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: “The basis of Banee Aadam’s misguidance is as a result of ‘General Terms’ and ‘Ambiguous Meanings’ [i.e. terms & meanings which can either be utilised for truth or falsehood when not explained in detail and distinguished], especially if they come in contact with a confused mind, then how about when [evil] desires and misguided enthusiasm is added to that? Therefore, ask the One Who keeps the hearts steadfast [i.e. Allaah] to keep your heart firm upon His Religion and not allow you to fall into this darkness”. (2)

The Imaam also said, “It is obligated on you to give detail and make a distinction, because unrestricted and general [statements] without clarification has indeed corrupted this existence [i.e. the world], and misguided the intellects and views [of the people] in every era”. Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] said, “There has to be detail explanation. The one who is not proficient in giving detail should keep quiet, because benefit is not acquired from his speech. And every time error occurs, its cause is due to an absence of detail explanation regarding truth and falsehood. There has to be detail explanation and distinction and not to mix up [affairs]. Indeed, it may be that there is something of truth and falsehood in an opponent’s statement, so all of it is neither deemed to be false nor truth; rather there has to be a distinction between its truth and falsehood. All of it is neither rejected nor accepted; rather a distinction is made regarding the truth and what is correct and the falsehood and error in it. And if you are not proficient in giving detail, then you should not enter into this field”. (3)
