Who are Ahlul Hadith – Shaykh Rabee’ b. Haadi

- They are those who proceed upon the way of the Companions and those who followed them in righteousness, in clinging to the Book and the Sunnah, biting onto that with their molar teeth, and letting them (i.e., the Qur’aan and the Sunnah) take precedence over any statement or code and conduct – whether in belief, or acts of worship such as dealings and transactions, mannerisms, politics or social life…
- They are those who are observant and lie in wait for every group that has deviated from the way of Islaam, like the Jahmees and the Mu’tazilees and the Khawaarij and the Rawaafidh and the Murji’ah and the Qadriyyah and all of those who have deviated from the way of Allaah and have followed their desires in every time and place – they not affected by the reproach of the blamers, in the cause of Allaah
- They are the group that the Messenger of Allaah has praised and commended in his saying, “There will not cease to be a group from my Ummah manifest and upon the truth not being harmed by those who forsake them neither by those who oppose them until the hour is established.” [1]
- They are the Saved Sect firm upon that which the Messenger and his Companions were upon, those who have been distinguished and defined by the Messenger of Allaah when he mentioned that this Ummah shall divide into seventy three sects all going to the Hell-fire except one and it was said, “Who are they, O Messenger of Allaah?” He said, “They are those who are upon that which I and my Comapnions are upon.”
- And this is not something we say in exageration or a mere claim, but verily we speak a reality that the text of the Qur’aan and the Sunnah bears witness to, which history bears witness to, and to which their (i.e., the Ahlul-Hadeeth’s) statements, their state of affairs, their writings and works also bear witness to. They are those who put before their eyes the statement of Allaah: And hold fast, all of you together, to the rope of Allaah. [2]….
- They are the most staunch in distancing themselves from opposing the command of the Messenger and the most distant from fitnah…

Ikhlaas and Not Showing off, whether a Scholar or Laymen- Shkh Muhammad b. Haadi- relayed by @ABDULILAH_UK
An important reminder, to be sincere and grounded, and not to show off regarding your actions; no matter how many people follow you or take from you in terms of da’wa.
This reminder has come to us at a crucial time in which we see many people entering into the dawah and religion of Allah. Alhamdulillah the blessings in this dawat-us salafiyyah are great. But we must always remember that anything that is achieved is by the tawfique of Allah and his mercy first. Our effort is very little in comparison to Allah’s immense favour and Mercy upon us to even allow us to be a part of it.
So we should strive as hard as we can to aid this call to Islam; working deligently in this dawah – and we ask Allah to reward us fully – all of us – and not to hold us to account for the things we fall short in.

Shaikh Fawzaan says: This categorization of (Tawheed) is not found except with the Ikhwaaniyyah
Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) said: ”This categorization [of Tawheed (i.e.Ar- Ruboobiyyah, Al-Uloohiyyah, Al-Asmaa Was-Sifaat and Al-Haakimiyyah) is not found except with the Ikhwaaniyyah (i.e. the deviant Muslim brotherhood sect); rather Al-Haakimiyyah enters into Tawheed al-Uloohiyyah….

What is Fusooq—Shaikh Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) explains…
Question:
Concerning the statement of Allaah (The Most High): [وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَان] – ”And has made disbelief, wickedness and disobedience (to Allah and His Messenger) hateful to you.” [Al-Hujuraat. Ayah 7] Al-Fusooq and Al-Faasiqoon have been mentioned several times in the Qur’aan and the Sunnah, so what is Fusooq and how can a Muslim be careful of becoming from a people who are Faasiqeen?
Answer:
Concerning Allaah’s (The Most High) statement: [وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَان]- ”And has made disbelief, wickedness and disobedience (to Allah and His Messenger) hateful to you”; He (Glorified Be He) mentioned the three types of acts of disobedience in this noble Ayah:
(A) The type of disobedience that removes a person from the fold of Islaam, such as Kufr (Akbar) and Shirk (Akbar). [Ref 1]
(B) The major type of disobedience which is lesser than Kufr (Akbar) and Shirk (Akbar) and it does not remove a person from the Religion but it decreases one’s Imaan—a manifest decrease–; such as fornication, theft, drinking alcohol and other than that of the major sins. They are referred to as Fusooq (wicked deeds) and the person who commits them is referred to as a Faasiq (wicked sinner) because Fisq means removing oneself from obedience to Allaah (The Mighty and Majestic].
(C) Then He (The Most High) mentioned the type of disobedience that is lesser than the major sins and are not tantamount to Fisq, and they are the minor sins.
So Allaah (Glorified Be He) informed (us) that He has made all these three types of disobedience hateful to the people of Imaan and make them have a love for the various types of acts of obedience and righteous actions that draws them close to their Lord.

Allaah (The Most High) said:
قُلْ إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّيَ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَالْإِثْمَ وَالْبَغْيَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَأَنْ تُشْرِكُوا بِاللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَأَنْ تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Say (O Muhammad): “(But) the things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are Al-Fawahish (great evil sins, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) whether committed openly or secretly, sins (of all kinds), unrighteous oppression, joining partners (in worship) with Allah for which He has given no authority, and saying things about Allah of which you have no knowledge.” [7:33]

Statements of Some of The Kibaarul Ulamaa
In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy
Al-Allaamah Hammaad Al-Ansaari (rahimahullaah) stated:
“The Sahaabah never differed in Aqeedah; rather the differing (in Aqeedah) took place after them.” [1]
Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Luhaydaan (may Allaah preserve him) was asked about the one who says that the sahaabah differed in aqeedah; so he said: [“أستغفر الله – none says this except a Mubtadi Daal (i.e. an innovator, astray one). [2]

Al-Allaamah Ahmad Bin Yahyah An-Najmi (rahimahullaah) was asked about the one who says that the Sahaabah differed in Aqeedah; so he replied: “The one who says that the sahaabah differed in Aqeedah should support his speech with evidences; otherwise he is a liar, false accuser…. [3]
The Shaikh (rahimahullaah) also said:
Has lying and false accusation been made easy for the utterer (of this statement) to such a level: Falsely accusing the Companions of the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallaam)?! [4]
The Shaikh (rahimahullaah) also said:
”Indeed this speaker who says that the Sahaabah differed in Aqeedah–it is obligated on him to keep quiet and should be prevented from speaking about Aqeedah; because he is ignorant about it.” [5]
The Shaikh (rahimahullaah) also said:
As for differing in the rulings pertaining to subsidiary issues of (the religion) based on Ijtihaad, then this did occur between the Sahaabah and each of them stated what he saw to be the truth, and none amongst them found fault with anyone. Not a single one of them reproached the one who was in opposition to him; but the aim of this speaker–false accuser–is to pave the way for the differing of hizbiyyah (i.e. to find room– by way of this false claim–for the differing of the people of illegal partisanship against the sound Manhaj positions of the Salafis). And he has established against himself that he is a hizbi…. [6]
