British Jews – a brief dialogue with Michael Starr

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Exalted, said:

Worship Allah and join none with Him in worship, and do good to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, Al-Masakin (the poor), the neighbour who is near of kin, the neighbour who is a stranger, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (you meet), and those (slaves) whom your right hands possess. Verily, Allah does not like such as are proud and boastful. [An-Nisaa 36]

The seal of the Prophets, Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and all the Prophets, stated: “He will not enter Paradise whose neighbour is not safe from his evil”. [1]

Shaikh Muhamad Bin Abdillah As-Subayyil, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: There are other narrations that demonstrate the greatness of a neighbour’s rights. Neighbours are three types: the neighbour with three rights, the neighbour with two rights and the neighbour with one. The neighbour with three rights is the one who is a relative, therefore, they are owed the rights of a relative, the rights of a Muslim and the rights of a neighbour. The neighbour with two rights is a Muslim neighbour, therefore, they are owed the rights of a a neighbour and the rights of a Muslim. As for neighbour with one right, he (or she) is a non-Muslim neighbour and has the rights of a neighbour. [2]

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: He is not a (true) beloever whose stomach is filled while his neighbour is hungry”.

Al-Allamah Zayd Bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: This hadith shows that the one whose stomach is filled while his neighbour is hungry is not a believer of complete Iman. A person of complete Iman is the one who checks on his neighbour if the neighbour is in need of him. It is not possible for a neighbour to be enjoying himself with foods and drinks while his (other) neighbour cannot find anything and he does not give him anything. This does not reflect the manners of a believer with complete Iman. Because of this, the Prophet negated the completeness (of the Iman of one who behaves in such a manner); rather a believer of complete Iman is the one who is generous to his neighbour as much as he is able, especially when in need of a necessity such as food and drink. [3]

A Sheep was slaughtered for Abdullah Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, so he said to his slave, “Have you given to our Jewish neighbour? Have you given to our Jewish neighbour? I heard the Messenger of Alla, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying, ‘Jibreel did not cease advising me (about the rights of) a neighbour until I thought that he (a neighbour) would inherit from me'”. [4]

In the above article, Michael emphasizes findings from research indicating that British Jews are experiencing a sense of uncertainty about their future in the United Kingdom. Regardless of the accuracy or potential exaggeration of this research, our foremost obligation as Muslims remains clear: we are commanded to safeguard the lives, dignity, and property of all individuals within our community, including Jews, Christians, and others residing in the UK. True believers hold dear the teachings and narratives found within the pure Islamic Shariah, and we pray that Allah counts us among them, Amin. It is a grave matter that individuals face the threat of hellfire for mistreating their neighbous, then what about adding antisemitism to this evil. We want to reiterate that antisemitism, like any form of racism, is a despicable and profoundly wrong act. For further insights, please read here:

https://abuiyaad.com/sn/muslims-antisemitism

https://abuiyaad.com/w/antisemitism-ernest-renan

https://abuiyaad.com/a/muhammad-semitic-prophet

Antisemitism must be met with unwavering condemnation, irrespective of the identity of the offender, whether they be Muslim or otherwise. We inhabit nations that are predominantly non-Muslim, bound by agreements that ensure the protection and safety of all citizens. Many among us are either born in the UK or have been granted indefinite leave to remain, just as Jews and others share this status. Thus, it is our collective responsibility to uphold the principles that safeguard everyone in the West. As the Senior Salafi Scholar, Imam Muhammad Ibn Salih Al-Uthaymin, may Allah bestow His mercy upon him, wisely counseled us in the UK on July 28, 2000, as follows:

Likewise I invite you to have respect for those people who have the right that they should be respected, from those between you and whom there is and agreement (of protection) [i.e. Non-Muslims]. For the land which you are living is such that there is an agreement between you and them. If this were not the case they would have killed you or expelled you. So preserve this agreement, and do not prove treacherous to it, since treachery is a sign of the hypocrites, and it is not from the way of the Believers.

And know that it is authentically reported from the Prophet that he said, “Whoever kills one who is under and agreement of protection will not smell the fragrance of Paradise.”

Do not be fooled by those sayings of the foolish people : those who say : ‘Those people are Non-Muslims, so their wealth is lawful for us [i.e. to misappropriate or take by way of murder and killing].’ For by Allah – this is a lie. A lie about Allah’s Religion, and a lie in Islamic societies.

So we may not say that it is lawful to be treacherous towards people whom we have an agreement with. O my brothers. O youth. O Muslims. Be truthful in your buying and selling, and renting, and leasing, and in all mutual transactions. Because truthfulness is from the characteristics of the Believers, and Allah – the Most High – has commanded truthfulness – in the saying of Allah – the Most High – “O you who believe – fear and keep you duty to Allah and be with the truthful”.

And the Prophet encouraged truthfulness and said : “Adhere to truthfulness, because truthfulness leads to goodness, and goodness leads to Paradise; and a person will continue to be truthful, and strive to be truthful until he will be written down with Allah as a truthful person“.

And he warned against falsehood, and said : “Beware of falsehood, because falsehood leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire. And a person will continue lying, and striving to lie until he is written down with Allah as a great liar.”

O my brother Muslims. O youth. Be true in your sayings with your brothers, and with those Non-Muslims whom you live along with – so that you will be inviters to the Religion of Islam, by your actions and in reality. So how many people there are who first entered into Islam because of the behaviour and manners of the Muslims, and their truthfulness, and their being true in their dealings. [5] [end of quote]

The upright and god-fearing scholars of Islam approach all matters with fairness, ensuring that their judgments are grounded in careful consideration rather than negligence or extremism. They faithfully articulate the principles of pure Shariah without bias or favoritism. Imam Muhammad’s counsel extends to every individual in the UK, emphasisng the importance of protecting the lives, physical wellbeing and property of our fellow citizens.

As for the Zionists in Palestine, their behaviour stands in stark contrast to the principles of justice and humanity. For more than seven decades, they have engaged in acts of violence, displacement, and the appropriation of land, all while portraying themselves as victims. This dissonance is particularly striking as the global community observes the relentless brutality inflicted upon the Palestinian people.

The Zionists exhibit numerous detrimental characteristics, notably their persistent inability to partake in substantive dialogues that would acknowledge the rights of the Palestinians, all while they relentlessly strive to assert their moral superiority. This sentiment has been articulated with remarkable clarity by Prince Turki Al-Faisal. Listen below:

They perpetually voice their grievances, immersing themselves in a relentless cycle of victimhood that fosters a profoundly detrimental mindset. Their toxic blend of obstinacy and arrogance not only impacts those around them but also fuels an insatiable quest for validation and attention. Over time, this behavior has reshaped their neural pathways, becoming ingrained in their very identity, rendering interactions increasingly challenging. One is faced with a dilemma: either acquiesce to their excessive conduct under the guise of self-defense and retaliation, or risk being branded as an antisemite. Consequently, regardless of the sympathy or solutions extended to them, a transformation in their behavior appears highly improbable. Those who articulate the truth are often dismissed as mere purveyors of negativity, leading others to feel unjustly accused for their own historical transgressions of theft and violence against the Palestinian people over the past seven decades. This dynamic arises from a deep-seated guilt that compels them to continuously exploit and oppress, while simultaneously voicing grievances that serve to elevate their own self-image and assert their dominance. In this context, they seek not counsel but rather affirmation, as addressing their issues would undermine the very foundation of their complaints.

Netanyahu and his associates are motivated largely by a desire for personal gain and recognition. This mindset plays a significant role in their strategy to exert control over the Palestinian people. They intentionally target various aspects of Palestinian identity and mental health, such as self-confidence, self-esteem, self-image, emotions, thoughts, dignity, psychological resilience, and overall mental well-being. Their goal is to destabilise their victims, attacking them at their core to establish a psychological hold. However, a devout Muslim, rooted in the true creed and Sunnah of the Prophet, remains resilient against these harmful tactics.

When they engage in their transgressions, there is an expectation for lavish and unanticipated accolades, affection, attention, gratitude, gifts, and expressions of love, all cloaked in the narrative of the Holocaust. It is as if the suffering of the Palestinians can perpetually be justified by the suffering endured by Jews at the hands of the Nazis. This is precisely why Netanyahu and his allies continuously evoke guilt regarding the historical injustices faced by Jews during the Nazi regime. Their aim is to forge a profound emotional connection that compels swift allegiance and significant commitments from European nations with a legacy of antisemitism. They elevate certain Western demagogues, ideologues, and provocateurs, thereby cultivating a sense of obligation and reciprocity among them, which in turn fuels the relentless demands and assertions of the Zionist agenda. Furthermore, they endeavor to manipulate perceptions and impose a distorted narrative upon the Palestinians. They unleash bombardments upon them, intentionally stripping away their sleep, peace, and sense of security. Subsequently, they refute the heinous acts or invoke their opponents as a justification, manipulating the very repercussions of the violence they have orchestrated against the Palestinians for the past seventy decades to undermine their image, portraying them as aggressive, erratic, and violent. Once again, listen to Prince Turki Al-Faisal.

It is essential to recognize that while Muslims may encounter Islamophobia in certain European nations and Jews may experience antisemitism in others, these challenges cannot be equated with the relentless violence endured by Palestinians under successive Zionist administrations in the occupied territories. Nonetheless, both Islamophobia and antisemitism, along with all forms of racism, are unequivocally condemned, irrespective of their geographical context. Indeed, the wisdom shared by Imam Muhammad Ibn Salih Al-Uthaymin serves as a guiding principle for Muslims who are committed to the truth and understand their duty to protect the lives, dignity, and property of all their fellow citizens. We unequivocally dissociate ourselves from the actions of any group that perpetrates excesses and injustices against non-combatants and unarmed civilians, or that incites violence towards them. Auschwitz – a brief dialogue with Hagay Hacohen

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Abdullah Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, “Whoever would love to be delivered from Hellfire and admitted into Paradise, let him meet his end while believing in Allah and the last day, and let him treat people as he would love to be treated”. [Ṣaḥiḥ Muslim 1844]

Hagay Hacohen’s article touches on the harrowing history of Auschwitz, therefore, we say without any reservation that those events represent a profound tragedy. The victims of such atrocities deserve our deepest sympathy. As Muslims, we are guided by the teachings of the seal of the Prophets, Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that we treat others as we wish to be treated ourselves. None of us would wish for our loved ones to endure the horrors faced at Auschwitz. The perpetrators of these crimes, the Nazis, must be condemned for their actions until the end of time. It is also crucial to remember that such atrocities echo in the current suffering of the Palestinian people, who have faced Zionist brutality for over seven decades. Just as we denounce the Nazis for their violence against innocent civilians, we must also speak out against those Zionists as well as any group of Muslims when they harm non-combatants. In our pursuit of justice for all in recent times, we should reflect on the wise words of Prince Turki Al-Faisal, may Allah protect him, which remind us of our duty to reject excess and injustice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3-cWyFcK5w

We understood from Hacohen’s mention of antisemitism that it highlights its role as a driving force behind the persecution of Jews that took place in Germany and beyond. As Muslims, we unequivocally assert that antisemitism is strictly prohibited in the final revelation, and we must actively fight against it, leaving no space for those who perpetrate such hatred. [Footnote a] We equally denounce the extreme violence and land theft perpetrated by Zionists for over 70 years. [Footnote b]

Hagay Hacohen noted in the article:

Comment: It is essential to confront fear, hate speech, rising nationalism, and those who seek to eliminate any group, regardless of their faith—be they Muslims, Jews, Christians, or others. Just as we firmly reject and condemn any non-Jew who advocates for the eradication of any race, we also stand against any Jew who makes statements promoting genocide. This condemnation applies universally; no individual, whether Jew or non-Jew, is exempt. There have been notable Zionist figures, including Netanyahu, whose rhetoric mirrors that of those who incite extreme violence and injustice. We have provided examples of such statements made by certain Zionist leaders in the following links:

https://abuiyaad.com/a/amalekite-genocide-doctrine-gaza

https://abuiyaad.com/a/slaughtering-children-holy-war/print

https://www.abuiyaad.com/a/pharoah-slaughtering-babies

Must take a look at what is happening in their own backyard first

When we commit to the important task of addressing any speech that suggests the destruction of a race, it is essential that we hold accountable all those who make such remarks or encourage others to do so. Our condemnation must be impartial and not self-serving; we should not prioritise our own interests over the rights of others, regardless of whether we can evade consequences through manipulation, concealment, or downplaying the struggles of others to promote our agenda. It is crucial that we do not become overly focused on our own emotions at the cost of others’ rights. We must consistently evaluate our priorities to avoid falling into arrogance or a sense of entitlement that disregards the rights of others, as this can warp our perception of reality and diminish our awareness, open-mindedness, and empathy. Such an attitude only exacerbates violations, conflicts, misunderstandings, and distrust among individuals. This is why the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, remind us to treat others as we wish to be treated ourselves. The events that transpired at Auschwitz are well known and will be constantly condemned. In a parallel vein, the ongoing plight in Palestine, marked by over 70 years of Zionist brutality, will similarly face relentless condemnation. The link provided offers a brief overview of certain atrocities perpetrated by Zionists, both in the past and last year.

North African Jews- Brief dialogue with Ohad Merlin

We unequivocally denounce the atrocities that occurred at Auschwitz, as well as all who seek to oppress the servants of Allah. Our stance on this matter is unwavering. Allah said:

If anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land – it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. [Al-Ma’idah. 32]

Imam As-Sadi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

If a person is bold enough to kill someone who does not deserve to be killed, this implies that he does make a distinction between the one he killed and other than him; rather he would commit this act whenever his evil calls him to that. Therefore, his bold attitude that led him to kill is as if he has killed all humankind. On the other hand, if a person saves a life and does not kill – whilst his soul calls him to do so – due to fear of Allah, this is as if he has saved the lives of all humankind because the fear of Allah he possesses stops him killing one who does not deserve to be killed. [1]

Abdullah Bin Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with him, said that Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, “The first (thing) that will be decided among people on the Day of Judgment will pertain to bloodshed”. [2]

Imam An-Nawawi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

This hadith shows the severity of bloodshed and that it will be the first thing that will be judged between people on the Day of Resurrection because of its greatness and extreme danger. This hadith does not contradict the well-known hadith in the Sunan that the first thing a person will be questioned about is the prayer because this hadith is about a matter between Allah and the person, whereas the first hadith (i.e. judgement in matters related to bloodshed) is an affair between the people. [3]

As for those who question why participation in events commemorating historical occurrences is not legislated in the pure Shariah, they may find clarity in the words of Imam Abdul Aziz Bin Baz, may Allah have mercy upon him, as stated below:

Indeed, it has become the custom of many Islamic countries in this era to specify – by way of an order- a period of three days of mourning, or less or more, for the kings and leaders together with the cessation (of work) in government departments and flags flown at half-mast. There is no doubt that this act is contrary to Muhammad’s Shariah… It has been reported in the authentic hadiths – transmitted from Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that prohibit specifying days of mourning and cautioning against it, except in the case of a wife because she mourns her husband for four months and ten days. As for other than this in relation to specifying days of mourning, it is not allowed by the Shariah, and there is nothing in the perfected Shariah that allows it to be done for a king, leader, or other than them.

Indeed, during the lifetime of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, his son Ibrahim, his three daughters and other individuals died, but he did not specify days of mourning for them. During his time, leaders were killed, but he did not specify days of mourning for them, such as Zaid Bin Haritha, Jafar Bin Abi Talib and Abdullah Bin Rawahah.

Then the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, died- and he was the most honorable of the creation, the best of the Prophets, the master of the children of Adam, and the calamity that afflicts humankind because of his death is the greatest of calamities, but the Companions did not specify days of mourning for him. Then Abu Bakr As-Siddiq died – and he is the best of the Companions, and the most honorable of creation after the Prophets, but days of mourning were not specified for him. Then Umar, Uthman and Ali were killed, and they are the best of creation after the Prophets and after Abu Bakr, but days of mourning were not specified for them. And likewise, all the Prophet’s companions passed away, but days of mourning were not specified for them. The Imams of Islam and the leaders of guidance amongst the scholars of the Taabi’in and those after them died, such as Sa’eed Ibn al-Musayyib, Ali Ibn Al-Husayn Zain Al-Aabideen and his son Muhammad Bin Ali, Umar Bin Abdil Azeez, Az-Zuhree, Imaam Abu Haneefah and his two companions, Imaam Maalik Bin Anas, Al-Awzaa’ee, Ath-Thawree, Imaam Ash-Shaafi’ee, Imaam Ahmad Bin Hanbal, Ishaaq Ibn Rahaawayh and other than them amongst the Imaams of knowledge and guidance; but days of mourning were not specified for them. (4)

It is essential to recognise that engaging in events that lack Shariah endorsement and denouncing the offenses perpetrated by either Muslims or non-Muslims are fundamentally distinct matters. Furthermore, abstaining from commemorative events does not imply a rejection of the heinous acts committed; our condemnation of the offenders remains unwavering and unequivocal. However, we refrain from participating in any activities that contradict Shariah principles. Additionally, we are instructed to coexist with non-Muslims in a manner characterised by exemplary conduct. Please refer to the information below.

North African Jews- Brief dialogue with Ohad Merlin

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Most High] said:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. [An-Nisaa. Ayah 135]

In the above article, Ohad Merlin references a Jewish historian to illuminate the profound effects of colonialism and the pervasive antisemitism [Footnote a] of that era, particularly regarding its repercussions for North African Jews. It is equally important to acknowledge that beyond the egregious actions of the Colonialists against the indigenous populations in North Africa and elsewhere, [Footnote b] there existed influential Colonialists among Christian Zionists, wielding significant global political power. These figures later extended their support to Zionist movements in European nations, contributing to the gradual marginalisation of the Palestinians. This complex evolution encompasses various dimensions, some of which are briefly discussed in the following links.

The Initial Rise and Gradual Impact of Christian Zionism on Some European Political Decision-makers

American Christian Zionists’ Media Initiatives Aimed at Influencing Public Opinion, With a Brief Mention of The Concept of Greater Israel

Nevertheless, regardless of the support that certain notable European Christian Zionists later extended to the Jewish Zionists residing in Europe and in territories governed by the remnants of the Ottoman Empire, we unequivocally condemn any form of injustice or antisemitism encountered by Jews in North Africa and beyond, for injustice must be recognized solely as what it is: an affront to humanity. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said that Allah said: “Allah Almighty said: O My servants, I have forbidden injustice for Myself and I have forbidden it among you, so do not oppress one another”. [Ṣaḥiḥ Muslim 2577]

Any factual evidence of oppression faced by North African Jews during that period will be recognized without any embellishment or dramatization. Nonetheless, conversations about the oppression of Jews should also include a reminder of the similar struggles being endured by Palestinians at the hands of Zionists over the last 70 years.

Some Instances of Historical Zionist Brutality Towards Palestinians

The Deir Yassin Massacre: Took place on April 9, 1948, near Jerusalem, during which between 107 to 254 Palestinians were massacred at the hands of the extremist “Stern” gang.

The Nasr al-Din Massacre: Took place in April 1948. Al-Lajjun Massacre: Took place on April 13, 1948, in a Palestinian Arab village in the Jenin District, where the Zionist Haganah gang attacked it and killed 13 people.

The Saliha Massacre: Took place in May 1948, during which 75 Palestinians were massacred.

The Abu Shusha Massacre: Took place on May 14, 1948, near the village of Deir Yassin, and claimed the lives of (50) citizens, including women, men, children, and the elderly.

The Beit Daras Massacre: Took place in northeastern Gaza on May 21, 1948.

The Tantura Massacre: Took place on May 22, 1948, in the occupied city of Haifa, and claimed the lives of about (200) Palestinians.

The Lydda Massacre: Took place on July 12, 1948, in the occupied city of Lydda, and resulted in the massacre of about (500) Palestinians, including (150) who were massacred inside the city’s Grand Mosque. The Zionists threw many of them alive into the town’s wells.

The Dawayima Massacre: Took place on October 29, 1948, when a battalion from the terrorist “Lehi” organization led by Moshe Dayan attacked the village and then began searching homes and shooting at its residents. Entire families were exterminated in the massacre, which resulted in the killing of 200 men, women, and children.

The Zionist massacres did not stop after the Nakba of 1948, but rather their frequency, intensity, and brutality increased in light of the use of more lethal and destructive weapons. Among the most prominent of these massacres were: The Sharafat Massacre, which took place in February 1951, in which 11 Palestinians were massacred, and the rest of the village’s people were displaced. The Bethlehem Massacre took place in January 1952, in which 10 Palestinians were massacred. The Qibya Massacre took place on October 14, 1953, in the village of Qibya, east of Jerusalem, during which (67) Palestinians were massacred, most of whom were women and children, and during which 56 homes were destroyed. The Qalqilya Massacre took place on October 10, 1956, when the occupation forces attacked citizens in the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank, during which about seventy citizens were massacred.

The Kafr Qasem Massacre took place on October 29, 1956, in which 49 Palestinians were massacred, including 11 children, when they were all returning home from work. The Khan Yunis Massacre took place on November 3 and 12, 1956, in which between 280 and 500 Palestinians were massacred.

In 1970, Zionist aircraft struck Bahr al-Baqar Primary School and Abu Zaabal factories, killing more than 150 Egyptian students and workers. In 1980, the extremist Jewish organization Kach attempted to blow up Al-Aqsa Mosque, and a shipment of explosives weighing 120 kg was discovered. The Sabra and Shatila massacre took place in September 1982. This massacre lasted three days, and its direct perpetrators were members of the Lebanese Phalange forces allied with the Zionists led by Ariel Sharon. The Ibrahimi Mosque Massacre took place on February 25, 1994, when a Zionist named “Barog Goldstein” stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron, and fired bullets and bombs at the worshipers. This massacre resulted in the massacre of 29 Palestinians. The Qana Massacre took place on April 18, 1995. [Compiled from various old Arab Newspapers]

Recent developments following the October 7 attack by Hamas have drawn significant criticism from various international organizations regarding the severe retaliation executed by Netanyahu’s military forces. Reports indicate that Netanyahu and his allies have engaged in actions that violate the Genocide Convention, aiming to systematically eliminate the Palestinian population in Gaza. This includes not only killings but also inflicting serious physical and psychological harm, as well as imposing living conditions designed to lead to their physical annihilation. Month after month, the actions of Netanyahu’s military have dehumanised Palestinians in Gaza, treating them as a group devoid of basic human rights and dignity, clearly signaling an intent to eradicate them.

During the height of the conflict, various international organisations reported a harrowing two-month period where the population was under siege, grappling with starvation, displacement, and the threat of annihilation amidst relentless bombardments and crippling restrictions on essential humanitarian aid. Additionally, they highlighted that for several months, the forces under Netanyahu’s command engaged in acts that could be classified as genocidal, fully cognizant of the irreversible damage being inflicted on the Palestinian people in Gaza. This continued despite numerous warnings regarding the dire humanitarian crisis and binding resolutions from international entities demanding that Netanyahu and his associates take immediate action to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza.

They stated in their reports that Netanyahu and his associates have consistently maintained that their actions in Gaza are lawful, claiming justification through their military objective of eliminating Hamas. However, the notion of genocidal intent can exist alongside military objectives and does not have to be the only aim. The context of dispossession, apartheid, and unlawful military occupation in which these actions have taken place has led to a singular, reasonable conclusion: that Netanyahu and his associates intended the physical destruction of Palestinians in Gaza, either in conjunction with or as a means to achieve their military goal of dismantling Hamas. Furthermore, while acknowledging the horrific crimes committed by Hamas and other armed groups on October 7, 2023, including unlawful killings and hostage-taking, it is crucial to understand that these actions cannot justify Netanyahu’s genocidal campaign against the Palestinian people in Gaza. The military response from the Zionist army following the attacks on October 7 has pushed Gaza’s population to the brink of disaster. This relentless offensive has resulted in the deaths of over 42,000 Palestinians, including more than 13,300 children, and has injured upwards of 97,000, with many casualties stemming from direct or indiscriminate attacks that have obliterated entire families. The scale of destruction is unprecedented, occurring at a pace and intensity not witnessed in any other 21st-century conflict, decimating entire cities and devastating essential infrastructure, agricultural lands, and cultural and religious sites. As a result, vast areas of Gaza have become uninhabitable.

They also highlighted that Netanyahu’s government created dire living conditions in Gaza, resulting in a lethal combination of malnutrition, hunger, and disease, effectively subjecting Palestinians to a slow and calculated demise. Furthermore, hundreds of Gazans have been subjected to incommunicado detention, torture, and other forms of mistreatment. The total siege imposed on Gaza cut off essential resources such as electricity, water, and fuel. Over nine months during the conflict, Netanyahu’s administration enforced a stifling and illegal blockade, severely restricting access to energy and failing to ensure meaningful humanitarian aid within Gaza. This obstructed the importation and distribution of critical supplies, particularly in the northern regions. Consequently, the already dire humanitarian crisis worsened. The extensive destruction of homes, hospitals, water and sanitation systems, and agricultural land, coupled with mass displacement, led to catastrophic hunger levels and a rapid increase in disease. The effects have been particularly devastating for young children and pregnant or breastfeeding women, with serious long-term health implications.

Through its repeated “evacuation” orders, Netanyahu’s government issued numerous “evacuation” orders, resulting in the displacement of nearly 1.9 million Palestinians—90% of Gaza’s population—into increasingly confined and perilous areas, often under dire conditions, with some individuals being forced to relocate as many as ten times. This relentless cycle of forced displacement rendered countless people unemployed and profoundly traumatised, particularly given that approximately 70% of Gaza’s inhabitants are refugees or descendants of those who were uprooted from their homes during the 1948 Nakba. They stated that Netanyahu’s administration showed a troubling unwillingness to implement measures that could have safeguarded displaced civilians and addressed their fundamental needs, indicating a deliberate choice to ignore their plight. They consistently denied displaced individuals the opportunity to return to their homes in northern Gaza or to seek temporary refuge in other areas of the Occupied Palestinian Territory or lands under Zionist control. This refusal continued to violate the rights of many Palestinians to return to the areas from which they were uprooted in 1948, as recognised by many nations. The administration was fully aware that there were no safe havens for Palestinians in Gaza.

The above information, derived from reports by various international organisations, has faced denial from Zionist factions, despite being evident in daily life. While Ohad Merlin highlights the plight of North African Jews, it pales in comparison to the brutality faced by Palestinians over the past 70 years. It is crucial to remember that the roots of this conflict do not lie with the Palestinians, who did not instigate it, but rather with the colonial figureheads that supported the Zionists in creating the circumstances over 70 years ago. We would like to emphasise, once again, the strong insights shared by Prince Turki al-Faisal, may Allah safeguard him, which can be found in the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3-cWyFcK5w

In addition, some Zionists figureheads have also employed genocidal rhetoric against Palestinians. [Footnote d]

Destructive Self-sufficiency

The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Exalted, said:

كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ لَيَطۡغَىٰٓ
أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰٓ

Nay! Verily, man does transgress all bounds, because he considers himself self-sufficient.

[كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ لَيَطۡغَىٰٓ – Nay! Verily, man does transgress all bounds]- Meaning, Abu Jahl, who used to be insolent and boastful about his clothing, riding beast and food when he earned more wealth. [1]

[أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰٓ – because he considers himself self-sufficient]- Meaning, due to the human being’s ignorance and wrongdoing when he considers himself self-sufficient, he transgresses, rebels, haughtily turns away from guidance, forgets that he will be returned to his Lord and does not not fear the recompense; rather, he might reach such a state that he abandons guidance and calls others to abandon it and tell others not to perform the prayer which is the most virtuous deed of Iman. [2]

Allah did not (solely) state that he (this human being) became self-sufficient; rather, He indicated that tyranny arises from the perception of his self-sufficiency. But He did not mentioned this perfection in Surah Al-Layl; instead, He stated:

وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ

وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ

But as for he—( Umayyah bin Khalaf)—who is miserly (with respect to his wealth and Allāh’s right upon him) and considers himself self-sufficient (from his Lord). And rejects al-Ḥusnā (the statement of monotheism) (or: the obligations of prayer, fasting and charity) (or: the promise of Allāh) (or: Paradise and its reward). Then We will make easy for him (the path to) evil (or: Hellfire). https://www.thenoblequran.com/q/#/verse/92/8

This, and Allah knows best, is due to the cause of his arrogance, which stems from his perception of his own self-sufficiency.

Surah Al-Layl elucidates the factors contributing to his downfall and the lack of ease in his affairs, stemming from their belief that they do not need their Lord by abandoning obedience and servitude. Had they genuinely relied on Allah, they would have endeavored to draw nearer to Him through the prescribed acts of worship, akin to a servant who cannot do without his Lord even for a moment and adhering to His orders. For this reason, this is linked to his miserliness, which reflects his failure to fulfill his obligations in speech, actions, and wealth, as well as his rejection of Al-Husna [Footnote a] which is promised those who perform good deeds, as stated by Allah: [لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا الْحُسْنَى وَزِيَادَةٌ – For those who have done good is the best (reward, i.e. Paradise) and Ziyadah]. [Footnote b]

The purpose of this discussion is that the perfection of not needing Allah is the cause of the downfall of a servant of Allah and is the root of all difficulties. His perfection of not being in need of his Lord is the cause of his transgression and downfall, both of which stand in stark contrast to the dependence on Allah and servitude (to Him). [3]

The creation find themselves within two types of neediness. The first type of neediness is inevitable. It is a type of neediness which every everyone (cannot do without) – the righteous and the wicked. It neither necessitates praise nor dispraise, and neither reward nor punishment; rather it is solely due to the fact that the creation are created beings [i.e. absolutely in need and completely dependent on their Creator in every way].

The second type of neediness is one based on choice from which emanates two noble aspects of knowledge. The first one is the servant’s knowledge and awareness of his Lord and the second is knowledge and awareness of oneself in reality. As soon as one acquires these two types of knowledge, it brings about a type of neediness that becomes a person’s distinguished and most precious source of wealth, and the means to success and happiness in (this life and the next). The people’s different stations in this type of neediness depends on their different stations in these two affairs of knowledge.

The one who knows that his Lord (Allaah) is the Self-Sufficient One [absolutely free from all wants and to Whom everyone and everything depends, and none can do without Him in the twinkling of an eye], then he will know that he is completely in need.

The one knows that his Lord (Allaah) is alone the Possessor of Perfect Ability [possessor of All-Encompassing Ability and able to do all things], he will know that he is completely unable [cannot do anything in the twinkling of an eye without the help of] his Lord.

The one who knows that his Lord (Allaah) is The All-Mighty, he will know that he is one completely in a state of [complete poverty, weakness and want unless his Lord provides for him etc]. The one who knows that his Lord (Allaah) is the possessor of All- Encompassing knowledge and Wisdom, he will know that he is ignorant.

Allah brought the person out of his mother’s womb while he knew nothing- not able to do anything and owned nothing; neither able to give nor take, and neither able to harm nor benefit. This state of neediness – until he reached a more perfect state – is something witnessed and tangible for everyone (to see), and it is well known that this is the very essence of the human being and he remains upon that state. He does not move from this state and enters into a state of Lordship – a state in which he becomes absolutely self-sufficient and not need of anyone and anything; rather he does not cease being a slave, a needy one to his Rabb [Allah the Creator, All-Provider and the Only One Who Controls and Sustains Everything] and His Fatir [Allah, The Originator and Creator of Everything].

However, after the human being was granted blessings, shown mercy, granted the means to reach a more perfect state, and Allah -out of His Perfect Kindness and Generosity- granted him apparent blessings [i.e. to recognize the Messengers who were sent with Islamic Monotheism, granted him the lawful pleasures of this world, including health, good looks, etc.] and the hidden blessings [i.e. granted him the innate disposition to recognize his Lord when the Messenger calls him to Iman, and granted him knowledge, wisdom, guidance for doing righteous deeds, and also the pleasures and delights of the Hereafter in Paradise, etc.], granted him hearing, sight and a heart, and taught him [i.e. gave him the means to knowledge], granted him ability, subjugated things to him, granted him [the desire and enthusiasm to pursue what is beneficial, and take action], enabled him to receive the service of those of his kind [i.e. gave him authority over other humans], subjugated to him horses and camels, gave him the ability to capture the animals in the sea, drop birds from the sky, subjugate wild animals, dig wells [irrigate water etc.], plant trees, dig the earth, learn how to build, acquire the things that are of benefit to him, guard against and protect himself from that which is harmful to him; then the Miskin [i.e. this absolutely poor, dependent human being] thinks that he has a share of authority and claims – for himself – a kingship [or authority] similar to that of Allah [Glorified be Allah and free is Allah from all imperfections, partners, coequals, similarities etc.], and begins to see himself in a manner other than what he was at first, forgets his (prior) state of non-existence, poverty and neediness, until he becomes as if he was not that poor and needy thing. [4]

Satirizing the suffering of others – A brief dialogue with the Jerusalem Post.

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah said: [وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَن تَذْبَحُوا بَقَرَةً – And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his people: “Verily, Allah commands you that you slaughter a cow]. [قَالُوا أَتَتَّخِذُنَا هُزُوًا – They said: Do you make fun of us?]

[قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ – He said: I take Allah’s Refuge from being among Al-Jahilun (the ignorant ones or the foolish)].

This is because the ignorant individual is one who engages in speech devoid of benefit and mocks others. In contrast, the sensible person recognises that one of the greatest flaws, both in terms of religion and intellect, is to ridicule another human being. Even if they may be favoured (with something) over him (i,.e. the one being mocked), such favour should inspire gratitude towards the Creator and compassion towards fellow beings. Thus when Musa, peace and blessings of Allah be upon hi, said to them:

[أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ – I take Allah’s Refuge from being among the ignorant ones and the foolish ], they knew that (what he commanded them) was truth, thus, they said: [ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا هِيَ -call upon your Lord for us that He may make plain to us what it is!]. [Tafsir As-Sadi. Al-Baqarah 67-68]

Excerpts from Jerusalem Post

In the aforementioned article from the Jerusalem Post, it is articulated that certain anti-Zionists engage in mockery directed at Jews. Should the assertions made be verified and confirmed without resorting to exaggeration or sensationalism, and provided that the claims of antisemitism are grounded in fact rather than unfounded allegations, it follows that, once the evidence is laid bare and the statements of those accused are accurately represented, there can be no doubt that such derision must be unequivocally condemned. The perpetrators must be informed that their actions are intolerable, and any individual possessing a modicum of decency should unequivocally distance themselves from such behavior, irrespective of any perceived advantages associated with the agenda of the mockers. Nonetheless, it is imperative to ensure that they are indeed culpable of such reprehensible conduct.

Jerusalem Post also quoted the accused who said:

It is essential to remind the Jerusalem Post that it is truly disheartening to witness individuals who find a twisted pleasure in mocking others, especially considering the recent atrocities perpetrated by Zionists in Gaza. This behavior stems from a profound ignorance and a deep-seated insecurity. Those who partake in such malevolence exhibit a lack of maturity and an inability to resolve conflicts within the framework of divine principles. Over the past year, as the world has borne witness to the harrowing genocide in Gaza, certain pro-Zionist factions have callously mocked the immense suffering endured by the Palestinians, who were besieged and deprived of essential resources such as water, electricity, and adequate food supplies. As the brutality escalated, some of these individuals resorted to a particularly vile form of mockery on social media, utilizing a song from a 2005 comedy to trivialize the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza. Disturbingly, some Zionist soldiers even appeared on camera, donning face paint and traditional Palestinian attire in a grotesque attempt to deride the Gazan populace. Others joined in this disgraceful display, sharing images of devastation with laughter, and some even involved their innocent children in this abhorrent act, dressing them in headscarves and encouraging them to dance mockingly. This behaviour is an inheritance from the disbelievers of old. Allah said:

Beautified is the life of this world for those who disbelieve, and they mock at those who believe. But those who obey Allah’s Orders and keep away from what He has forbidden, will be above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah gives (of His Bounty, Blessings, Favours, Honours, etc. on the Day of Resurrection) to whom He wills without limit. [Al-Baqarah 121]

We emphasise once again that the anti-Zionist Jew mentioned by the Jerusalem Post is not to be considered guilty without clear evidence. If proven otherwise, an apology would be necessary. On the other hand, the actions of certain pro-Zionist groups on social media, which involve mocking the suffering of Palestinians, are undeniably evident. We have decided to refrain from including those videos in this post out of respect for the Palestinians who were being ridiculed. May Allah relieve their suffering and reward them immensely for their patience Amin. Finally, we strongly denounce anyone who inflicts harm on non-combatants, as clearly expressed by Prince Turki Al-Faisal, may Allah preserve him, in this video.

What motivates Irfan Fard – at Jerusalem Post – to repeat his slander against the term Islamic?

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah said:

وَلَا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا

And they bring no (argument or objection by way of a) similitude (in order to criticise this Qur’ān and oppose your message) except that We bring you the truth and the better explanation thereof (through a similitude that is superior to theirs, provides detail and invalidates their objection). https://www.thenoblequran.com/q/#/search/25_33

Irfan Fard has once again embarked on his campaign of malicious defamation, linking the noble term “Islamic” with the abhorrent concept of terrorism, all while being granted a platform by those with Zionist affiliations. It is hardly surprising that such a charlatan finds support among individuals who would perceive Islam as a barrier to their own misguided beliefs and the distortion of the true path of the Prophets. Irfan’s actions stem from a desire to promote an alternative governance system, one that stands in stark contrast to that of the Rafidah. His animosity is not rooted in a quest for the establishment of Allah’s laws, but rather in a relentless pursuit of worldly power and recognition, masquerading as a commitment to justice. True justice can only be derived from the Qur’an and Sunnah, as interpreted and practiced by the Prophet’s companions. Neither the Rafidah nor the self-serving ambitions of Irfan, supported by Zionist interests, can offer a legitimate foundation for justice. Therefore, we once again present the link where Shaikh Abu Khadeejah, may Allah preserve him, eloquently and unequivocally demonstrates that terrorism can never be aligned with Islam, despite Irfan’s persistent slander. Following this, we will outline the motivations behind the actions of slanderers and deceivers, particularly those who harbour a deep-seated animosity towards the authentic Islamic terms. Read: https://abukhadeejah.com/terrorism-is-never-islamic-a-refutation-of-terrorism-based-on-the-texts-of-the-quran-and-sunnah-and-the-sayings-of-the-scholars-ebook/

Individuals like Irfan engage in a systematic approach to create the illusion of reality by affirming, reiterating, and disseminating falsehoods across various contexts. This strategy, while demanding persistence, gradually influences those who either hold misconceptions about the subject or lack detailed knowledge. This tactic mirrors the methods employed by politicians advocating for their agendas, akin to the repetitive techniques used in advertising to promote products. When founded on falsehoods, such repetition can insidiously embed ideas into the subconscious, eventually morphing them into beliefs and accepted truths. Once these inaccuracies are established as truths through continuous repetition, they proliferate among the public with little scrutiny, particularly when the actions of individuals associated with a targeted group are misrepresented in relation to the distorted idea. Irfan exemplifies this when he addresses the heretical Rafidah by linking their actions to the term “Islamic” and subsequently associating it with terrorism. Similarly, some other websites present their own distortions of Islam in varied ways, conveying different narratives. Thus, while the platforms and methods may differ, the underlying goal remains consistent: a relentless effort to distort truth into falsehood without substantiation, thereby shaping perceptions of reality. This process of transforming falsehood into perceived truth through repetition poses a significant threat to societal understanding. Consequently, the vast array of media content available today, along with its varied formats, timings, and presenters, has the potential to reshape long-held convictions among individuals.

The impact of this phenomenon is particularly significant for a generation whose perspectives are molded by ideologues, demagogues, and provocateurs masquerading as journalists and commentators. The act of repetition of falsehood wields considerable power over cognitive boundaries, hindering the sound understanding or justified dissenting viewpoints. The intellect remains ensnared by this influence until it achieves liberation through a conscious detachment from its origins, thereby allowing reason to prevail: discerning acceptance and rejection based on the tenets of sound rigorous validation.

Advocates of falsehood, such as Irfan and the Rafidah, do not only seek to reshape ideas and manipulate thought processes but they also alter the very foundations of sound creed and methodology of the Prophets, which poses a serious concern. Even more alarming is the transformation of falsehood, solidified through repeated assertions over time, into doctrines, beliefs and methodologies that future generations come to accept. This results in a scenario where truth is misidentified as falsehood, leading to a distortion or misunderstanding of Islamic principles and terms. We recall a maternal uncle, may Allah have mercy on him, who was a journalist in Gambia, renowned for his eloquence and commitment to truth. His pursuit of issues significantly influenced our understanding of contemporary matters. However, after being guided to the Sunnah, we recognised the importance of grounding our judgments on the sound principles of verification and ascertainment as taught by the Salafi Scholars, may Allah have mercy on them, instead of blindly following anyone else, regardless of their eloquence and convincing arguments. Thus, when the misguided Irfan attempts to link terrorism with the term Islamic—an association as distant as the heavens from the earth—we clearly perceive the desperation within him to connect two entirely unrelated concepts. May Allah guide him or disfigure his deceitful tongue. Amin.

This article by Irfan, to which we are responding, also makes a sweeping claim that Islamic countries share a significant responsibility for fostering the harmful ideology represented by Khumeini. Irfan again uses the term "Islamic" to refer to Muslim nations in the context of Iran's actions, suggesting that these countries are also culpable. However, he fails to specify which countries support the Rafidah or which ones oppose their activities. Furthermore, it raises the question: which Muslim nation actually endorses the Rafidah's beliefs and propagates their destructive methods? Historically, scholars of Islam, both past and present, have unequivocally condemned the Rafidah, not out of a struggle for power, but due to a fundamental distinction between sound and corrupt beliefs. In contrast, Irfan's concerns about the Rafidah seem rooted in a power struggle and a desire for an alternative system that aligns with his vain desires. He has been given a platform by Zionist interests to pursue authority, driven by a lack of fear of Allah, which is what typically restrains a believer from chasing after leadership, regardless of the outcome. Read here: https://salafidawahmanchester.com/2025/01/14/a-sad-reality/

The upright Scholars of Islam and their students effectively counter the claims of the Rafidah from and their affiliates. [Footnote a] Rather than resorting to vague and misleading generalizations, an honest and fair-minded individual would clearly differentiate between those who endorse the actions of the Rafidah and those who challenge and denounce them. Additionally, it is important to recognise that all Muslim nations maintain diplomatic relations with other countries, regardless of the situation. This practice was established by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to promote the common good and mitigate the threats posed by adversaries. [Footnote b]

Political opportunism will not earn one the pleasure of Allah in the afterlife. True success comes from dedicating oneself to singling out Allah in worship and following the Sunnah of His Messenger. What makes Irfan’s actions even more troubling is his disparagement of the term Islamic in his quest for selfish worldly gains and a desperate grab for power. At the very least, Irfan should hold back from attacking the term Islamic, as we cannot prevent him from his conflict with the Rafidah, which is driven not by genuine faith but by an unquenchable thirst for authority. The Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “If Adam’s son had a valley full of gold, he would like to have two valleys, for nothing fills his mouth except dust. And Allah forgives him who repents to Him”. [Al-Bukhari 6439]

A message from a war criminal to the world – [Engaging in a dialogue with Jane Kiel]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, Ther Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Exalted, said:

مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا

[An Excerpt from Tafsir As-Sadi]

We shall commence by addressing the title of Jane’s article in the following manner: Opinion: A message from a war criminal to the world – [Engaging in a dialogue with Jane Kiel]

The above article titled, “A message from a terrorist to the world”, written by Jane Kiel presents a troubling account of violence inflicted by armed Palestinians on innocent civilians. If the writer’s portrayal is accurate, it undeniably represents a despicable act that deserves condemnation from anyone with a shred of compassion. However, it is equally crucial to acknowledge the actions of the Zionist forces over the past seven decades, which have surpassed the limits of human imagination in their severity. Just as the writer highlights the traumatic experiences faced by civilians in the Zionist State, it is essential to also shed light on the prolonged suffering endured by Palestinians for over 70 years, culminating in the recent conflict in Gaza.

Through its repeated “evacuatio” orders, Netanyahu’s government issued numerous “evacuation” orders, resulting in the displacement of nearly 1.9 million Palestinians—90% of Gaza’s population—into increasingly confined and perilous areas, often under dire conditions, with some individuals being forced to relocate as many as ten times.

Furthermore, while Jane’s article highlights barbaric actions, it pales in comparison to the brutality faced by Palestinians over the past 70 years.

[Footnote b]

Irfan Fard, with his insidious rhetoric, once more uses Zionist platform to link the term “Islamic” with terrorism

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah said:

يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ

They want to extinguish Allah’s Light with their mouths [i.e. the Qur’an, the pure Islamic monotheism, and the guidance Allah sent Muhammad with] but Allah will not allow it except that His Light should be perfected even though the disbelievers hate (it). [at-Tawbah 32]

Imam Ibn Kathir, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: They wish to destroy the guidance and religion of truth that Allah gave His Messenger through their arguments and fabrications, so their example in this is that of someone who attempts to put out the light of the sun or the moon by blowing at them, but this (person) can never succeed in doing so. [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]

Allah said:

يقَدْ بَدَتِ ٱلْبَغْضَآءُ مِنْ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِى صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ

Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. [Aal Imran 118]

Irfan has once again sought to sully the noble reputation of Islam by linking the term “Islamic” with acts of terrorism, all while pursuing a personal vendetta against the heretical Rafidah under the pretense of promoting virtue and prohibiting vice. It is abundantly clear that their discord with the Rafidah is rooted in a struggle for political dominance, stemming from the Rafidah’s rebellion against their historical leader. Consequently, neither faction is genuinely concerned with adhering to the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Rafidah aim to propagate their deviations from the Sunnah, while Irfan and his associates strive to dismantle the Rafidah’s influence and reclaim their former political authority in Iran. Both groups stand apart from the true essence of Islam and the Muslim community, as their pursuits are driven by selfish ambitions, positions of power, and their own misguided paths. The Rafidah cloak their deviations in the guise of Islam, whereas Irfan and his followers masquerade their actions as a fight against extremism. In this way, the Rawaafid exploit Islam to advance their Shirk and fabricated ideologies, while Irfan and his ilk use the banner of combating terrorism to tarnish and undermine Islamic principles. Just as we challenge the Rawaafid, we must also confront Irfan and his associates, urging them to disentangle their personal political aspirations from the sacred matters of Islam under the guise of combating extremism. The Ummah of Muhammad does not require their political stratagems or conflicts with the Rafidah, as both factions remain ensnared in misguidance.

Irfan and his associates must refrain from their hollow rhetoric and unworthy ambitions. If they feel the need to associate acts of terrorism with specific individuals based on solid evidence, they ought to ensure that their allegations are aimed at those individuals and their ideologies. Should they be convinced that the Rafidah are involved in such acts of terror, let their references be directed towards them, rather than casting a shadow over the term Islamic. This principle should be universally applicable to any group or organization that partakes in such despicable actions. Your persistent denigration of terms related to Islam indicates either profound ignorance or a deliberate intent to tarnish its reputation, perhaps as a tool for those who wish to undermine the faith. May Allah bestow guidance upon Irfan, or render his slanderous words ineffective. “Terrorism is never Islamic” as Shaikh Abu Khadeejah, may Allah preserve him, clarified. Defiling the term Islamic – A bone to pick with Erfan Fard

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Exalted, said:

وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا الْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

And mix not truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth while you know (the truth). [Al-Baqarah 42]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

He (Allah) prohibits mixing truth with falsehood and concealing (truth). Mixing truth with falsehood is to confound truth with falsehood until one of them is confused for the other, and from this (results) deception, fraudulent maneuver, and cheating whose underlying reality contradicts the outward appearance. Similarly, when the truth is cloaked in falsehood, the perpetrator manifests falsehood in the image of truth and utters a wording that carries two meanings—a correct meaning and a false one, thus the listener may mistakenly think that the perpetrator intended the correct meaning, while his actual intent is falsehood. This is Ijmaal Fil Lafdh [general, unrestricted wording (or speech)]. As for ambiguity in meaning, it can manifest in two ways; one of which is truth while the other is false; its correct intended aspect is misconstrued, thus its intended meaning becomes false. The basis of Bani Adam’s misguidance lies in general wordings and ambiguous meanings, particularly when they encounter confused minds; so how about when accompanied by vain desires and fanatism? Therefore, ask the One (Allah) Who keeps the hearts steadfast to keep your heart steadfast in the religion He has ordained, and not allow you to fall into this darkness. [1]

Irfan Fard stated:

It has become increasingly prevalent for the misguided actions of certain individuals, groups, and sects to be unjustly attributed to Islam. When a person who identifies as a Muslim engages in reprehensible behaviour, various media outlets, journalists, ideologues, demagogues, rabble-rousers, and even sometimes some who ascribe to Islam – who lack a true understanding of Islam due to their extensive exposure to secular institutions and philosophies—tend to erroneously associate these actions with Islam or Islamic principles. This occurs instead of examining the individual’s personal shortcomings or lack of self-discipline, as well as their deviation from the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah as interpreted and practiced by the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Such a strategy seeks to forge a misleading narrative that conflates the sound and robust Islamic principles, manners and methodology with the aberrations of those whose actions are neither Islamic nor commendable in any context. The ignorance or utter disregard for decency and integrity in discourse is starkly evident in the words of those eager to tarnish the pristine principles of Islam, just as they have previously distorted their own Scriptures and introduced numerous innovations into the path of earlier Prophets. Consequently, they aspire to do the same with Islam, despite being called by Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, to submit to the final revelation. After rejecting this divine invitation, they resort to waging an ideological war against Islam through their rhetoric, as Allah stated:

They intend to put out the Light of Allah (i.e. the religion of Islam, this Quran, and Prophet Muhammad) with their mouths. But Allah will complete His Light even though the disbelievers hate (it). He it is Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islamic Monotheism) to make it victorious over all (other) religions even though the (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger Muhammed) hate (it). [As-Saff. 8-9]

Allah said:

O people of the Scripture! Now has come to you Our Messenger (Muhammad) explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and passing over (i.e. leaving out without explaining) much. Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a light (Prophet Muhammad) and a plain Book (this Quran). Wherewith Allah guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will unto light and guides them to a Straight Way (Islamic Monotheism). [Al-Ma’idah 15-16]

The animosity many of them harbour stems from the final divine revelation that has unveiled their concealed intentions and misinterpretations. In response, they engage in a relentless ideological campaign against Islam, attempting to associate it with elements that would tarnish its noble reputation. Terrorism can never be aligned with the essence of Islam; indeed, no pure path of the Prophets can ever be linked to such heinous acts. How can one claim that terrorism is both prohibited in Islam and yet somehow Islamic? Such a statement reveals either profound ignorance or a blatant deceit, a mere facade of intellectual dishonesty. Many of these misguided notions trace back to the French King, Louis IX, who, during his crusade against the Muslims of Egypt in 1250, was captured and later ransomed. During his imprisonment, he contemplated strategies to undermine Islam and its followers, inspired by dark forces to pursue two primary objectives: first, to shift the conflict from the battlefield to one of ideological and cultural dominance; and second, to prepare the West to corrupt the beliefs of Muslims and distort the true image of Islam across the globe. [2]

It remains unclear what Erfan’s religious beliefs or ideological stance may be. However, by carelessly linking terrorism to the term Islamic, one can only conclude that he is either woefully uninformed and should refrain from discussing such matters to spare us from his distasteful ignorance, or he is a fervent ideologue whose pent-up frustrations manifest in deceptive rhetoric. This is precisely one of the paths Erfan Fard has chosen by associating terrorism with the term Islamic, rather than explicitly identifying the specific terrorist actions and holding accountable those who either misrepresent their motives under the guise of Islam or are misled by the rhetoric of extremist factions. Terrorism is not a product of Islam and can never be so, regardless of how often Erfan perpetuates this absurd and treacherous falsehood. He may continue to write until his ink runs dry, his keyboard shatters, or his fingertips are stained with the remnants of his words, yet none of this will impede the dissemination of true Islam, no matter the depth of his disdain. Read: http://www.islamagainstextremism.com/

Bid’ee Haqiqatjou, mocking upright scholars is a trait of Jahiliyyah!

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

They (People of the era Al-Jahiliyyah) accused the people of the religion of having little understanding and poor Memory.  They utilised this argument to determine the falsity of a religion that the people who followed it had little understanding and poor memory, as Allah said that they said:  [ بَادِىَ ٱلرَّأۡىِ – And they (too) followed you without thinking]. [Hud 27]

Al-Allamah Salih Al-Fawzan, may Allah preserve him, commented:

Regarding what Allah has stated about the people of Nuh and their saying: “And they (i..e believers) (also) followed you (Nuh) without thinking”- Meaning, the weak ones followed you without thinking, those who possess no understanding. They reviled the followers of the Messengers that they possess neither understanding nor are they well versed in the affairs; and (that) nor do they possess far-sightedness.  This is what many among those who have strayed from the right path and the enemies of Allah brag about today.  They make fun of the Muslims and their scholars, that they neither possess understanding nor far-sightedness.  They seek to diminish the (status of the) scholars with this calumny despite the fact that the scholars of the Muslims are people of clear sightedness and cognizance because they examine (matters) based on Allah’s guidance, command what Allah has commanded and forbid what Allah has forbidden.

Therefore, none diminishes (the status of the) scholars and accuses them of short-sightedness and lack of understanding, except one who shares similarities with the people of Jahiliyyah [Footnote a] and the people of Nuh – those who described the followers of the Messengers with this description, in order to drive the people away from them. This is uttered from the tongues of some of the people today.  They say, “These scholars are Ulamaa Hayd Wa Nifaas [i.e. scholars whose knowledge is limited to the rulings pertaining menstruation and post-natal bleeding], Ulamaa Ahkam Al-Istijmar [i.e. scholars whose knowledge is limited to issues pertaining to Istijmaar (i.e. rulings regarding the use of dry objects such as stones, tissue etc, to clean oneself after using the toilet)], Ulamaa Juz’iyyat [i.e. scholars whose knowledge is restricted to some affairs], and that they do not possess knowledge of current affairs”. [Footnote b] The knowledge of current affairs is the subject matter of politics and revolt against the Muslim rulers. [Footnote c] [1]

——————————————

Footnote a: Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, “The most hated people to Allah are three: a person who deviates from right conduct sanctuaries of Makkah and Madinah; a person who seeks that the traditions of the pre-Islamic Period of Ignorance should remain in Islam and a person who seeks to shed somebody’s blood without any right”.

Al-Allamah Zayd Bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

These three actions are major sins. The first major sin is to stray from good behaviour within the sacred sanctuaries of Makkah and Madinah. This deviation means to abandon the path of truth and embrace falsehood, and promoting falsehood to suppress the truth. Allah, The Mighty and Majestic, has censured those who engage in such misconduct within the sanctuaries of Makkah and Madinah, saying:

وَمَن يُرِدۡ فِيهِ بِإِلۡحَادِۭ بِظُلۡمٍ۬ نُّذِقۡهُ مِنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ۬

And whoever intends evil actions therein or to do wrong, We shall make him taste a painful torment. [Al-Hajj. 25]

Allah has promised them a severe punishment for their evil intentions therein, so what about committing such deeds?! It would indeed be a more severe sin, a more terrifying state, and a harsher punishment. This highlights the sanctity of Makkah and Madinah, chosen by Allah as sacred lands where virtuous acts of worship, like Hajj, are performed – a pillar of Islam. The virtues of these places are countless, with increased rewards for good deeds done there, and surpassing all other lands on earth in virtue.

The second major sin is committed by the individual who wants the practices of the pre-Islamic era of ignorance to remain within Islam, as if he prioritises the evil customs that were followed during that era over Islamic practices, Iman and Ihsan, their virtue and the virtue of the Prophet’s Sunnah. This act constitutes a major sin, as it involves favouring Bidah over the authentic Sunnah that leads to the right path.

The third major sin is shedding the blood of a Muslim without any right, especially when it is done out of oppression and animosity. Shedding the blood of a Muslim is a great crime as the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “The extinction of the entire world is less significant than killing a Muslim (without right)”. He stated regarding the rights of the Kabah, “Great you are and great is your sanctity, but the sanctity of a believer is greater than yours in the Sight of Allah”. Therefore, it is forbidden to transgress against Muslims, both male and female, in the sanctuaries of Makkah and Madinah, as well as in any other place, due to the severe consequences and punishment that follow. [2]

Footnote b: Imam Muhammad Ibn Salih Al-Uthaymin, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Some people say that someone who does not grasp current affairs is not a scholar, yet they forget what the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, “Whoever Allah wishes good for, He grants them understanding in the religion”. They lose sight of the reality that preoccupying oneself with current affairs distracts a person from understanding the religion and may even keep people from engaging in correct worship, which is to worship Allah alone while devoting one’s heart to Allah, contemplating Allah’s divine revelation (i.e. the Qur’an and the Sunnah) and His universal signs (i.e. the things He has created). In reality, preoccupying the youth with current affairs prevents them from understanding the religion Allah has ordained because the heart is a vessel that does not take another thing when it is filled with something else, thus, it is not possible to fill it with this and that. Being preoccupied with seeking understanding in the religion, fulfilling acts of worship, pure Islamic monotheism, and sincerity are the better to do for the individual than learning about current affairs and what such and such a person is about.

It is possible that one receives knowledge of current affairs through flimsy and fabricated media narrations, or bases knowledge of current affairs on the analysis and speculations of a person. The one engaged in the subject of current affairs may seek to establish an analysis that is far from what the current affairs are or they look into affairs that have been concocted for them by the enemies (regarding) a specific event, but this event turns out to be something else and does not exist at all, thus, all those plans come to naught.

Therefore, it is important that one learns what Islam expects of them- the understanding related to one’s self, rectification of the heart through sound belief and wishing good for the Muslims, and this is related to the understanding of halal, haram, and other affairs of a similar nature. (However), if necessary, one can acquire knowledge about current affairs; but when it comes to matters that haven’t actually happened yet, such as lies, deception, analysis, and speculation, attaching absolute emphasis to it has no foundation.
