Assist Jordan Cope to Reach The Wholesome Truth

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Most High, said:

وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا الْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

And mix not truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth while you know (the truth). [2:42]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Allah forbade us from mixing truth with falsehood, thus leading to the concealment of the truth. Mixing truth with false is by mixing the two until one of them is confused with the other. This is forgery and deceit by way of which what is made apparent is the opposite of what it is in reality. Also, when the truth is confounded with falsehood, the culprit manifests falsehood in the image of truth and speaks with a statement that carries two meanings- a correct meaning and a false meaning, so the listener is under the illusion that the speaker intends the correct meaning, whilst he (i.e. the speaker) intends the corrupt meaning. [1]

Jordan Cope stated: “The ahistorical myth that Jesus was a Palestinian is often rooted in nationalist propaganda designed to erase Jewish history and memory, a centuries-old system of anti-Jewish oppression”. [End of quote]

Response

This is a myth, without a doubt, and it doesn’t take much work to demonstrate its fallacy. Nevertheless, Jordan’s opinion piece raises other points that require clarification. To complete this brief discussion, we must first examine the definition of the noun Jew, which is “any person whose religion is Judaism. In the broader sense of the term, a Jew is any person belonging to the worldwide group that constitutes, through descent or conversion, a continuation of the ancient Jewish people, who were themselves descendants of the Hebrews of the Bible (Old Testament). In ancient times, a Yĕhūdhī was originally a member of Judah—i.e., either of the tribe of Judah (one of the 12 tribes that took possession of the Promised Land) or of the subsequent Kingdom of Judah (in contrast to the rival Kingdom of Israel to the north). The Jewish people as a whole, initially called Hebrews (ʿIvrim), were known as Israelites (Yisreʾelim) from the time of their entrance into the Holy Land to the end of the Babylonian Exile (538 BCE). Thereafter, the term Yĕhūdhī (Latin: Judaeus; French: Juif; German: Jude; and English: Jew) was used to signify all adherents of Judaism, because the survivors of the Exile (former inhabitants of the Kingdom of Judah) were the only Israelites who had retained their distinctive identity. (The 10 tribes of the northern kingdom of Israel had been dispersed after the Assyrian conquest of 721 BCE and were gradually assimilated by other peoples.) The term Jew is thus derived through the Latin Judaeus and the Greek Ioudaios from the Hebrew Yĕhūdhī. The latter term is an adjective occurring only in the later parts of the Hebrew Bible and signifying a descendant of Yehudhah (Judah), the fourth son of Jacob, whose tribe, together with that of his half-brother Benjamin, constituted the Kingdom of Judah. In the modern world, a definition of Jew that would be satisfactory to all is virtually impossible to construct, for it involves ethnic and religious issues that are both complex and controversial. In daily life, for example, those who consider themselves Jews are generally accepted as such by Jews and non-Jews alike, even though such persons may not observe religious practices. While all Jews agree that a child born of a Jewish mother is Jewish, Reform Judaism goes beyond Orthodox and Conservative Judaism in affirming that a child is Jewish if either one of the parents is a Jew. From a purely religious standpoint, Gentile converts to Judaism are accepted as Jewish in the fullest sense of the word. Under Israel’s Law of Return (1950) as amended in 1970, all non-Israeli Jews and Gentile converts to Judaism are entitled to settle in Israel and receive full Israeli citizenship. However, converts who wish to marry in Israel must demonstrate that they were converted under the supervision of an Orthodox rabbi approved by the country’s chief rabbinate, which is authorized to settle questions of personal status regarding marriage and divorce. The Supreme Court of Israel has made incursions into rabbinic interpretations of personal status”. [2] [End of quote]

Jordan’s generalisation that “Jesus was a proud, observant Jew” must be critically examined in light of the infallible, final revelation from Allah.

Allah said:

(Remember) when the angels said: “O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word [“Be!” – and he was! i.e. ‘Iesa (Jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary)] from Him, his name will be the Messiah ‘Iesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allah. “He will speak to the people in the cradle and in manhood, and he will be one of the righteous.” She said: “O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me.” He said: “So (it will be) for Allah creates what He wills. When He has decreed something, He says to it only: “Be!” and it is. And He (Allah) will teach him [‘Iesa (Jesus)] the Book and Al-Hikmah (i.e. the Sunnah, the faultless speech of the Prophets, wisdom, etc.), (and) the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel). And will make him [‘Iesa (Jesus)] a Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): “I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah’s Leave; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by Allah’s Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe. And I have come confirming that which was before me of the Taurat (Torah), and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you, and I have come to you with a proof from your Lord. So fear Allah and obey me. Truly! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him (Alone). This is the Straight Path. Then when ‘Iesa (Jesus) came to know of their disbelief, he said: “Who will be my helpers in Allah’s Cause?” Al-Hawariun (the disciples) said: “We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e. we submit to Allah). Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger [‘Iesa (Jesus)]; so write us down among those who bear witness (to the truth i.e. La ilaha ill-Allah – none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)”. And they (disbelievers) plotted [to kill ‘Iesa (Jesus)], and Allah planned too. And Allah is the Best of the planners. And (remember) when Allah said: “O ‘Iesa (Jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that ‘Iesa (Jesus) is Allah’s son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad, ‘Iesa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Quran] till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute. As to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe torment in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers. And as for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah) and do righteous good deeds, Allah will pay them their reward in full. And Allah does not like the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). [Surah Al-Imran. Ayah 45-57]

The above infallible verses of the final revelation make it abundantly evident that the Messiah, peace be upon him, was commanded to affirm the the Torah as well as given a new scripture, the Injeel, through which he was commanded to abrogate part of the Torah. Allah said that the Messiah said to them:

وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُم بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَجِئْتُكُم بِـَٔايَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

And I have come confirming that which was before me of the Taurat (Torah), and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you, and I have come to you with a proof from your Lord. So fear Allah and obey me”- Meaning, Isa abrogated some of the laws of the Torah but most of it was not abrogated. [3]

Truly! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him (Alone). This is the Straight Path

Then, many of them disbelieved and plotted to have him killed, but Allah saved him. Allah said:

Then when ‘Iesa (Jesus) came to know of their disbelief, he said: “Who will be my helpers in Allah’s Cause?” Al-Hawariun (the disciples) said: “We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allah and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e. we submit to Allah). Muhammad, ‘Iesa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Quran] till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute.” [End of quote]

Therefore, it is abundantly evident that they took a different path after disbelieving in the Messiah, and that the Messiah did not take their path. However, a statement of truth must be established in this matter so that those Jews who rejected the Messiah are not rebuked beyond what they deserve.

Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Allah, The Most High, sent Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and they disbelieved in him, thus, their disbelief and misguidance occurred in two ways- substitution of the religion of the first Messenger (i.e. the Messiah) and they belied the second Messenger (i.e. Muhammad), just as the Jews substituted the rulings of the Torah before the Messiah was sent and then belied him. The Christians’ denial of Muhammad’s Messengership is a well-known belief of theirs to every Muslim, which is similar to the Jews’ disbelief in the Messiah. The Christians emphasise the disbelief of the Jews as greater than what the Jews deserve because the Jews claimed that the Messiah was a magician and a liar; rather they said that he is an illegitimate child, as Allah informed us about them:

وَقَوۡلِهِمۡ عَلَىٰ مَرۡيَمَ بُہۡتَـٰنًا عَظِيمً۬ا

And their speech against Maryam (Mary)- a grave false charge (that she has committed illegal sexual intercourse]. [Surah An-Nisaa. Ayah 156]

However, the Christians claimed that the Messiah is Allah, therefore the trial between them and the Jews regarding the Messiah involved a lot of contradictions, misguidance at similar levels, and confrontation, and this is why both nations rebuked one another with something more than what each of them deserved, just as Allah said:

The Jews said that the Christians follow nothing, and the Christians said that the Jews follow nothing; though they both recite the Scripture. Like unto their word, said (the pagans) who know not. Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they have been differing. [Surah Al-Baqarah. Ayah 113]

Muhammad Bin Abee Muhammad the protege of Zaid Bin Thaabit reported from Ikrimah or Saeed Bin Jubayr, who reported from Ibn Abbaas that when the Christian delegation of Najraan came to Allah’s Messenger, the Rabbis came and argued with them in the presence of the Messenger; so Rabee Bin Hurmilah said, “You are upon nothing” and thus he disbelieved in Isa and all the Injeel. Then a man from the people of Najraan said to the Jews, “You are upon nothing”, and thus he wilfully denied Musa’s [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] Prophethood and disbelieved in the Torah, so Allaah revealed:

وَقَالَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ لَيۡسَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ عَلَىٰ شَىۡءٍ۬ وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ لَيۡسَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ عَلَىٰ شَىۡءٍ۬ وَهُمۡ يَتۡلُونَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ‌ۗ

The Jews said that the Christians follow nothing, and the Christians said that the Jews follow nothing; though they both recite the Scripture]. [SAl-Baqarah. 113]

So, each of them recited the affirmation of what they rejected in their book- meaning, the Jews disbelieved in Isa whilst they had the Torah in which Allah established the evidence against them through Musa that they should believe in Isa and the Injeel, and Isa confirmed Musa’s Messengership and what he came with. So, each one disbelieved in what was in the possession of the other. [Ibn Abee Haatim. 1/339]

The Jews said that the Christians follow nothing]: Qataadah said regarding this Aayah, “Certainly, the early Christians were upon something, but they innovated and split”.

And the Christians said that the Jews follow nothing.

Qatadah said regarding this Ayah:

Certainly, the early Jews were upon something, but they innovated and split”. The Jews belied the religion of the Christians and said that the Christians were upon nothing; and the Christians denied everything through which the Jews were distinguished from them, even the laws of the Torah which the Messiah did not abrogate; rather he commanded them to act upon it. As for the Jews, they denied many of things through which others were distinguished from them, until they denied the truth brought by Isa.

So, even though the Christians – due to that which they innovated of exaggeration and misguidance – went to extremes in excommunicating the Jews and showed them enmity beyond what is obligated, however, there is no doubt that the Jews disbelieved when they belied the Messiah, just as Allah said to the Messiah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him:

إِنِّى مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَىَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ڪَفَرُواْ وَجَاعِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوكَ فَوۡقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ

I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that ‘Isa (Jesus) is Allah’s son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad, ‘Isa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Qur’an] till the Day of Resurrection. [Al-Imraan. 55]

Allah, The Most High, said:

Isa the son of Maryam said to Al-Hawariun (the disciples): “Who are my helpers (in the Cause) of Allah?” Al-Hawarieen (the disciples) said: “We are Allah’s helpers” (i.e. we will strive in His Cause!). Then a group of the Children of Israel believed and a group disbelieved. So We gave power to those who believed against their enemies, and they became the uppermost. [As-Saff. 14]

The disbelief of the Christians due to their denial of Muhammad’s Messengership is greater than the disbelief of the Jews due to their denial of the Messiah’s Messengership because the Messiah only abrogated a little from the Torah and all the laws and acts of worship ordained for him could be traced back to the Torah; however the majority of the beliefs and practices of the Christians were innovated after the departure of the Messiah. That which is found in the Jews’ denial of the Messiah by opposing Allah’s Shariah is not the same as the Christians’ denial of Muhammad, who brought an independent book from Allah because nothing in the laws of the Qur’an was ordained based on the law of another Messenger. Allah [The Exalted] said:

أَوَلَمۡ يَكۡفِهِمۡ أَنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡڪِتَـٰبَ يُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ‌ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٲلِكَ لَرَحۡمَةً۬ وَذِڪۡرَىٰ لِقَوۡمٍ۬ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book (the Qur’an) which is recited to them? Verily, herein is mercy and a reminder (or an admonition) for a people who believe]. [Al-Ankabut. 51]

The Qur’an is an independent book like the Torah of Musa, even though the Qur’an is greater than it. And this is why the Christian scholars made a connection between Musa and Muhammad, just as when An-Najaashee, may Allah have mercy upon him, the Ethiopian king of the Christians- heard the Qur’an, he said, “Indeed, this and what Musa brought came from the same source”. Also, when Waqarah bin Nawfil [may Allah have mercy upon him] – who was one of the Christian Arab scholars- heard the statement of the Prophet, he said, “Indeed, the Naamoos [i.e. Jibreel] who came to you was sent to Musa. I wish that I were young till when your people expel you”. Allah’s Messenger asked, “Will these people drive me out?” Waraqah said, “Yes, because nobody brought the like of what you have brought, but was treated with hostility. If I were to remain alive till your day (when you start calling to Islaam), then I would support you strongly”. [Al-Bukhari]

And this is why Allah mentioned the Torah and the Qur’an together in His statement:

But when the truth (i.e. Muhammad with his Message) has come to them from Us, they say: “Why is he not given the like of what was given to Musa (Moses)? Did they not disbelieve in that which was given to Musa (Moses) of old? They say: “Two kinds of magic [the Taurat (Torah) and the Qur’an] each helping the other!” And they say: “Verily! In both we are disbelievers.” Say (to them, O Muhammad): “Then bring a Book from Allah, which is a better guide than these two [the Taurat (Torah) and the Qur’an], that I may follow it, if you are truthful.” [Surah Al-Qasas. 48-49]

Allah did not revealed books that were a better guide than the Tawraat and the Qur’an. Then Allah said:

But if they answer you not (i.e. do not believe in your doctrine of Islamic Monotheism, nor follow you), then know that they only follow their own lusts. And who is more astray than one who follows his own lusts, without guidance from Allah? Verily! Allah guides not the people who are Zalimun (wrong-doers, disobedient to Allah, and polytheists). [Al-Qasas. 50] [4]

Second, with regards to the Messiah’s lineage, we must distinguish between a Jew by lineage and a Jew by conversion, because some contemporary Jews propagate and disseminate the idea that they are a pure race and that they are the inheritors of the first Israelites who lived in Palestine. “This claim portrays them, in the eyes of Christians (i.e. particularly the Christian Zionists), as the children of Yaqub, peace be upon him, and his descendants, thus they are the ones intended for the promises found in the Old Testament to the children of Israel. So, through this, they win the sympathy, kindness, and support of the Christians, especially with knowledge of the fact that the Christians sanctify the Torah and believe that what is in it is a revelation from Allah, The Mighty and Majestic.

However, the reality belies their claim of the purity of their race, and that is because a general observation of their appearance and features shows the difference in their origins. Some of them have European features, some have Arab features, and some have African features. With this difference, it cannot be claimed that their origin is the same, as they must have mixed with other nations from whom they inherited this difference in physical characteristics. Furthermore, they mentioned in their books that many of them married foreign women and that their women folk were also married by foreign men, to the point that they attributed this to Prophet Sulayman – peace be upon him – (i.e. that he married women outside his race). It has also been proven historically that a big nation, the people of the Khazar state, converted to Judaism in the eighth century CE. This nation had previously been pagans, a Turkic Aryan people who inhabited the Central Asian region, and their state, named after themselves as the Khazar state, was located in the region between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. It occupies the northern Azerbaijani, Armenian, and Ukrainian regions and the entire South Asian region, up to the borders of Moscow, the capital of Russia. The Caspian Sea was called the Khazar Sea. It is stated in the Jewish Encyclopedia about the Khazars as follows: “The Khazars are a people of Turkish origin, whose life and history are mixed with the beginning of the history of the Jews of Russia. The nomadic tribes of the steppes, on the other hand, forced them to consolidate the foundations of the Khazar kingdom in most parts of southern Russia before the Franks established the Russian monarchy in 855 CE. At this time (855 CE), the Khazar Kingdom was at the height of its power, engaged in constant wars, and at the end of the eighth century, the Khazar king, his nobles, and a large number of his pagan people converted to the Judaism. The Jewish population was large throughout the Khazar province during the period between the 7th and 10th centuries CE, (and) it appears that around the 9th century, all the Khazars had become Jews and that they had converted to Judaism only a short time earlier. Then this country subsequently fell into the hands of the Russians, who occupied it and completely destroyed it, and seized all of its lands. It disappeared from the map of Europe in the thirteenth century CE, and its people were dispersed among the countries of Eastern and Western Europe, and their largest existence in Eastern Europe were Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Russia”. This clearly shows that the Jews who are called Ashkenazi, who are European, have no connection to Yaqub [peace be upon him] (by lineage). “The children of Israel are the descendants of (Prophet) Ya’qub [peace be upon him]. Their first entry into Palestine was with Yu’sha Bin Noon [peace be upon him] after the death of Musa [peace be upon him] during his travels from one place to another, and after they initially refused to fight (after being commanded to do so). There were three tribes in Palestine before the children of Israel took control of it: they were the Phoenicians who inhabited it around the year 3000 BC, and they settled in the northern region of the Mediterranean Sea. And the Canaanites descended south of the Phoenicians and occupied the central region of Palestine in the year 2500 BC. These were Arab tribes migrating from the Arabian Peninsula, then groups came from the Island of Crete around the year 1200 BC. It was called [فلستين] and was situated between Jaffa and Gaza on the Mediterranean Sea. The Canaanites called these people [فلسطين] and the name prevailed over the entire region, so it became referred to as [فلسطين]. According to what the Jews mentioned in their books, and what was written in the history of the region is that these peoples continued (residing) in the region. Many wars between them and the Children of Israel and the Jews occurred, which continued throughout the presence of the Jews in that region. Therefore, from a historical perspective, it becomes clear to us that the Jews were not the first to inhabit Palestine, but rather they entered it or some of it and captured parts of it after it had been in the possession of these people”. [5]

Third, there is no doubt that noble Isa – the Messiah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was a Jew by lineage. Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said,

“There is no doubt that Musa’s, peace be upon him, people are the Children of Israel, and in Torah was revealed in their language. Also, the Children of Israel are the people of the Messiah [peace be upon him], and he spoke in their language”. [6]

“It is known, by Christian consensus, that the Messiah only spoke in Hebrew, like all the other prophets of the Children of Israel, and that he was circumcised after the seventh day of his birth, as the Children of Israel were circumcised”. [7]

Imam Ibn Katheer, may Allah have mercy upon him, said,

“There is no difference of opinion that Maryam [peace be upon her] was from the lineage of Dawud [peace be upon him], and her father Imran was a leader in prayer for the Children of Israel in his time”. [8]

Ibn Al-Atheer, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated:

“Imran Bin Maathaan [the grandfather of Isa (peace be upon him) and father of Maryam] was one of the descendants of Prophet Sulayman the son of Dawud [peace be upon both of them], and the Mathan family were the heads and rabbis of the Children of Israel”. [9]

Finally, it should be stated unequivocally based on the preceding that Palestine as a land was inhabited by people of various religions and lineages before the arrival of Bani Israel with Yusha Bin Noon, peace be upon him. As a result, anyone who claims that Jesus was a Palestinian by lineage is attempting to affirm an outright lie; rather, he was a Jew by lineage (Bani Israel) who lived in ancient Palestine and was sent as a Messenger to Bani Israel. He affirmed the Torah and was also given the Injeel as a new book, and he abrogated some of the Torah, but they disbelieved him and took a different path. Similarly, it is categorically untrue to assert that Jews were colonised in Palestine, implying that they were the land’s original inhabitants; rather, Bani Israel arrived in the region with Prophet Yusha, peace be upon him, when existing inhabitants were already present. Thus, one of the biggest lies anyone can tell is that Jews have a special historical claim to the land of Palestine. Rather, the land is Allh’s, and He gives it as an inheritance to whomever He pleases. Allah said:

And indeed We have written in Zabur and after (We have already written in the) Dhikr that My righteous servants shall inherit the land. [Surah Al-Anbiya. 105]

Imam Muhammad Ibn Saalih Al-Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated:

Based on this, for example, the land of the Arabs is not for the Arabs, the land of the Persians is not for the Persians, and the land of the Romans is not for the Romans (i.e. Allah can give it to others). The land belongs to Allah and He gives it as a heritage to whom He will, and they are the righteous servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Whoever disbelieves in Allah and is too proud to obey Him has no right to the land. Allah gives it as a heritage to whomever He wills of the righteous servants. Based on this, if the children of Israel say: The land of Shaam is ours because Musa [peace be upon him] said:

يَا قَوْمِ ادْخُلُوا الْأَرْضَ الْمُقَدَّسَةَ الَّتِي كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ

O my people! Enter the holy land (Palestine) which Allah has assigned to you.

We say: Indeed, Musa, peace be upon him, said this because at that time you were righteous people and the righteous servants of Allah, and the earth belongs to Allah Who gives it as a heritage to whomever He wishes from among His righteous servants. However, after the advent of Islam and you disbelieved in it, you became unworthy of (this inheritance), and the righteous and believers in Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]- those who follow him – became its inheritors.

Before the Muslims were expelled (from this inherited land), it was occupied by the Roman Christians (who inherited it from) the Jews because they were righteous after the Jews; then the Muslims occupied it after them because they were the righteous servants of Allah. So, the land of Shaam was written as an inheritance for the righteous (as Allah said):

وَلَقَدۡ ڪَتَبۡنَا فِى ٱلزَّبُورِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ٱلذِّكۡرِ أَنَّ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِىَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحُونَ

And indeed We have written in Zabur and after (We have already written in) Dhikr that My righteous servants shall inherit the land].

Due to this, the Children of Israel (inherited the land from) those people in the sacred land who had great strength because they were upon the truth; then the Christians inherited it from the Jews because they were the people of truth, then the Muslims inherited it from the Christians because they are the people of truth. Based on this, the Yahood at present have no (specific) right to Palestine or any other part of Allah’s earth. Therefore, if the Muslims become righteous and return to their true religion, through which Allah will grant them the heritage of their land, they will regain the land.

Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them…[Surah An-Nur. 55] [10]

Therefore, the likes of Mr Naftali Zionist Bennett’s statement “colonialists expelled the Jews several times” is a half-truth mingled with a repugnant and absurd assertion designed to cover their tracks, create an illusion, divert attention from the facts, portray themselves positively and others negatively, gain sympathy and benefit, distort how others see the circumstances and convey a misleading impression to others about themselves and people around them. That is because even though Bani Israel was expelled from the land several times, they were not indigenous to the land, rather, the indigenous to the land were those who inhabited it before Bani Israel’s arrival. In addition, Allah said:

وَقَضَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسۡرَٲٓءِيلَ فِى ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ لَتُفۡسِدُنَّ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مَرَّتَيۡنِ وَلَتَعۡلُنَّ عُلُوًّ۬ا ڪَبِيرً۬ا

And We decreed for the Children of Israel in the Scripture, that indeed you would do mischief on the earth twice and you will become tyrants and extremely arrogant!] [Al-Israa. 4]

Meaning: We have declared, made a covenant with them and told them in their book that corruption will certainly occur from them on earth twice through committing sins, showing ingratitude to Allah for His Blessings, exalting themselves on earth and being arrogant therein; and that when one of these two (occasions) come to pass, Allah will give power to their enemies and take revenge on them, and this is an admonition and warning to them so that they may return to obedience and take heed. [a]

So, when the promise came for the first of the two, We sent against you slaves of Ours given to terrible warfare. They entered the very innermost parts of your homes. And it was a promise (completely) fulfilled. [Al-Israa. Ayah 5]

Meaning: the first of the two occasions during which they become corrupt; when such corruption occurred among them, We sent on you – by way of our all-encompassing divine will and decree- recompense (punishment) at the hands of those people with courage, large numbers, and armed, so, Allah gave them victory over you. They killed you, took your children away, plundered your wealth, invaded and destroyed your homes, entered the Sacred Masjid (Baytul Maqdis), and violated it. It was decreed to take place for a reason from themselves. The Qur’an commentators differed regarding the identity of those people who were sent to overpower them, but they agreed that they were unbelievers. Either they were from the people of Iraq, the Arabian Peninsula, or elsewhere, whom Allah gave (the strength) to overpower the Children of Israel when their sins became rife, they abandoned much of their Shariah, and transgressed in the land. [b]

Then We gave you once again, a return of victory over them. And We helped you with wealth and children and made you more numerous in manpower. [Al-Israa. 6]

Meaning: (gave you victory) against those who overpowered you, so you expelled them from your land; increased your sustenance and number, and gave you strength over them because of your righteous deeds and submission to Allah. [c]

(And We said): ‘If you do good, you do good for your ownselves, and if you do evil, then it is (to your ownselves).’ Then when the later promise came to pass (We enabled your enemies) to put sorrow on your faces (by conquering and enslaving you) and to enter the Mosque (of Jerusalem), as they had entered it the first time, and to destroy everything they came upon with utter destruction. [Al-Israa. Ayah 7] [d]

“If you do good, you do good for your ownselves” because the benefit will return to you, even in this world (before the hereafter) as you witnessed when Allah aided you against your enemies. “And if you do evil, then it is (to your ownselves)”- meaning, the harm will return upon yourselves, as Allah showed you by empowering the enemies. [e]

“Then when the later promise came to pass”– Meaning, the next time you spread corruption on earth, We made your enemies overpower you “to put sorrow on your faces (by conquering and enslaving you)”- Meaning, given victory over you, capture you, and enter the Sacred Masjid as they entered it the first time, and what is meant by the Masjid is Baytul Maqdis; “and to destroy everything they came upon with utter destruction”– Meaning, destroy your homes, Masjids and crops. [f]

(Thereafter Allāh said): ‘Perhaps your Lord may show mercy to you (if you repent), but if you return (to your sinful ways), then We shall return (to punishment). And we have made Hell an enclosure for the disbelievers. [Al-Israa. Ayah 8] [g]

Within these verses (Al-Israa 7 and 8) is a warning to this Ummah against committing acts of disobedience lest what afflicted the Children of Israel afflict them as well. The sunnah (way) of Allāh is one, it does not change or become altered. Whoever looks (and reflects) upon the empowerment of the disbelievers and oppressors against the Muslims will come to know that this was due to their sins, as a punishment to them (to make them realise) that if they enact and establish the Book of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Messenger, He will grant them firm authority in the land and aid them against their enemies. [h] [End of quote]

To conclude, indeed, the Messiah, peace be upon him, is free from the claims of those who call him a Palestinian and try to utilise him for nationalist goals. He is Aldo free from Jordan Cope and those who wilfully conceal the truth which is that the unbelievers among the Children of Israel chose a different path than the Messiah’s after they rejected him. And regarding anti-Semitism, we do not lend an ear -even in the twinkling of an eye- to Zionists’ exaggerations and propaganda, but rather we return to the truthful researchers instead of those who use it as a political tool to silence anyone who rebuts the Zionists and denounces their cruel and callous treatment of the Palestinian people over the past 75 years. The Power That Poses Great Danger to Its Seeker

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Power That Poses Great Danger to Its Seeker: A Prophetic Warning on Authority and Accountability

Abdur-Rahman Bin Samurah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him said:

“O Abdur-Rahman! Do not seek to be a ruler, for if you are given authority on your demand, you will be held responsible for it, but if you are given it without asking, you will be helped (by Allah). If you ever take an oath to do something and later on find that something else is better, then you should expiate your oath and do what is better”. [Al-Bukhari 7146]

The person who pursues authority and attains it will not find assistance. It is well known that holding authority comes with difficulties, so if one does not receive help from Allah, they will become ensnared by it and consequently lose both their worldly life and the afterlife. Hence, a sensible person refrains from seeking authority. However, if they are deserving and it is bestowed upon them without their request, then the truthful and trustworthy [Messenger] has assured them that Allah will assist them. [2]

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

You people will crave leadership and it will be a thing of regret on the Day of Resurrection. What a nice wet nurse it is, yet how evil is the weaning!” [Al-Bukhari 7148]

“Leadership” includes the Greater leadership, which is the Khilafah, and the smaller one which is the governorship over some countries (or province). This is information given (by the Prophet about something) before its occurrence, and it has occurred as he stated.

“It will be a thing of regret on the Day of Resurrection” for those who did not act by what is obligated regarding it.

“What a nice wet nurse, yet how evil is the weaning”. Ad-Dawudi said, “A nice wet nurse in this worldly life, yet evil in the hereafter as one will be held responsible. It mirrors premature weaning, resulting in ruin (harm)”. Others said, “A nice wet nurse due to the attainment of status, wealth, influence, and the fulfilment of physical and illusory pleasures (that may lead one to be fully distracted by the material world), yet how evil is the weaning when separated from it by death or other means, and the consequences that follow in the hereafter.” [3]

Abu Musa, may Allah be pleased with him, reported: Two men from my tribe and I came to the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him; one of the two men said to the Prophet: “O Allah’s Messenger! Appoint me as a governor,” and so did the second. The Prophet said:

“We do not assign the authority of ruling to those who ask for it, nor to those who are eager to have it.” [Al-Bukhaari 7149]

Abdur Rahman Bin Shumasa, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: I came to A’isha, may Allah be pleased with her, to inquire something from her. She said, “From which people are you?” I said, “I am from the people of Egypt”. She said, “What was the behaviour of your governor towards you in this war of yours?” I said, “We did not experience anything bad from him. If the camel of a man from us died, he would bestow on him a camel. If any one of us lost his slave, he would give him a slave. If anybody was in need of the basic necessities of life, he would provide them with provisions”. She said, “Behold! the treatment that was meted out to my brother, Muhammad Bin Abu Bakr, does not prevent me from telling you what I heard from Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of allaah be upon him]. He said in this house of mine, ‘O Allah! Whoever (happens to) acquire some kind of control over the affairs of my people and is hard upon them, be hard upon him, and who (happens to) acquire some kind of control over the affairs of my people and is kind to them, be kind to him'”. [Sahih Muslim 1828]

Regarding the statement of the Prophet: “O Allah! Whoever (happens to) acquire some kind of control over the affairs of my people and is hard upon them, be hard upon him, and who (happens to) acquire some kind of control over the affairs of my people and is kind to them, be kind to him”, Imam An-Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “This is one of the strongest rebukes against causing hardship for the people and the greatest urge to be kind to them”. [4]

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported: One day Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, stood among us (to deliver a sermon). He talked about the misappropriation of booty, and declared it to be a serious matter and a grave sin. Then he said, “I shouldn’t find that any of you should come on the Day of Judgment with a growling camel mounted on his neck, and should appeal to me for help saying, ‘Messenger of Allah, help me’ and I should say, ‘I cannot avail you against Allah at all; I already communicated to you’. I shouldn’t find that any of you should come on the Day of Judgment with a bleating ewe mounted on his neck, and he should say to me, ‘Messenger of Allah, help me’ and I should say, ‘I cannot avail you against Allah at all; I conveyed to you’. I shouldn’t find that one of you should come on the Day of Judgment with a person crying loudly mounted on his neck, and he should say to me, ‘Messenger of Allah, help me’, and I should say, ‘I cannot avail you against Allah at all; I conveyed to you’. I shouldn’t find that any one of you should come on the Day of Judgment with fluttering clothes wrapped round his neck and he should say to me, ‘Messenger of Allah, help me’, and I should say, ‘I cannot avail you against Allah at all; I conveyed to you’. I shouldn’t find that any of you should come on the Day of Judgment with a heap of gold and silver placed on his neck and he should say to me, ‘Messenger of Allah, help me’, and I should say, ‘I cannot avail you against Allaah at all; I already conveyed to you (the warning from the Almighty)'”. [Sahih Muslim 1831]

Regarding the statement of the Prophet, “I cannot avail you against Allah at all”, Imam An-Nawawi [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated that Al-Qadhi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said that this means “(Cannot avail you against Allah) with regards to forgiveness and intercession, except by the will of Allah]”. This statement of the Prophet is (a manifestation of) anger towards this person – at first – due to his wrong deed, then thereafter the Prophet will intercede for all the Muwahhideen [i.e. those who died upon the creed of pure Islamic monotheism]. [5]

Adee Bin Amirah Al-Kindi, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “I heard Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say, “Whosoever from you is appointed by us to a position of authority and he conceals from us a needle or something smaller than that, it would be misappropriation (of public funds) and will (have to) produce it on the Day of Judgment”. The narrator says: “A dark-complexioned man from the Ansar stood up – I can visualise him still – and said, ‘O Allah’s Messenger! Take back from me your assignment’. He said, ‘What has happened to you?’ The man said, ‘I have heard you say so and so’. He said, ‘I say that (even) now: Whosoever from you is appointed by us to a position of authority, he should bring everything, big or small, and whatever he is given therefrom he should take, and he should restrain himself from taking that which is forbidden'”. [Sahih Muslim 1833]

The Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, “Any man whom Allah has given authority to look after the affairs of a people and he dies whilst not looking after them [in the manner obligated by Allah and His Messenger], he will not smell the scent of paradise”. [Sahih Al-Bukhari. 7150]

Imam Muhammad Ibn Salih Al-Uthaymeen [may Allah have mercy upon him] said:

This does not (only) refer to the Muslim ruler, his assistant or a minister, or the elders of a people; rather it applies even to a man in his house. If he dies and did not look after his family (in the manner obligated by Allah and His Messenger), Allah will prevent him from smelling the scent of paradise. And those who give their families games that corrupt manners and destroy belief, there is no doubt that they have not looked after their families (in the manner obligated by Allah and His Messenger in this affair). If they die whilst being upon this state, it is feared that Allah will prevent them from smelling the scent of paradise”. [6]

Imam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “The sinners [i.e. those who die while committing sins lesser than shirk] are under the will of Allah. If Allah wishes, He will either punish them or forgive them straight away, or He enters them into hell for some time and paradise thereafter, just as Allah said:

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَغۡفِرُ أَن يُشۡرَكَ بِهِۦ وَيَغۡفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٲلِكَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ

Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases. [Surah An-Nisaa’ Aayah 48]

Obedience to The Rulers In Good and Not to Rebel Even When They Are Oppressive

Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, “Indeed, you will see Atharatan after me and affairs you’ll disapprove; they [i.e. the people] said, ‘What do you command us O Allah’s Messenger?’ He said, ‘Fulfil their rights [i.e. the rulers] and ask Allah for your rights'”.

Al-Allamah Zaid Bin Hadi Al-Madkhali [may Allah have mercy upon him] said:

This authentic hadith is related to the affair of the rulers- during the end of time – when they will give precedence to themselves through enjoyment of the worldly things and those under their authority will face harm, something of oppression and tyranny; so the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] guided and directed the people to fulfil the rights of the rulers; obey and listen to them in that which is good- whether it is during a time in which one is enthusiastic [to listen and obey them in what is good] or feeling lackadaisical- perform Jihad behind their banner against the enemies of the religion, establish the prayer and behave in a manner obligated by the Islamic legislation. They should not rebel against the ruler just because he is a sinner or an oppressor, nor refrain from giving him the rights obligated on them to give him; rather they should fulfil his rights just as the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] commanded them, saying, “Fulfil their rights”.

Therefore, the ruler has rights that should be fulfilled by his subjects and the subjects also have rights to be fulfilled by the ruler. It is obligated on the ruler to fulfil their rights and it is obligated on them to fulfil his rights. However, if he [i.e. the ruler] falls short in something related to their rights, it is not permissible for them to [deliberately] fall short in fulfilling his rights. And due to the great importance of rulership and the rulers, indeed the Prophet commanded them to fulfil the obligation of As-Sam’i wat-Taa’ah [i.e. to listen and obey the ruler in good], refrain from disobedience [when commanded to do something good], supplicate to Allah to make their affairs easy and change their state of affairs to that which is good, aid them to fulfil their needs and those affairs they cannot do without.

This hadith contains a miracle of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and that is the fact that he clearly stated that during the end of time, the rulers will give precedence to themselves with something of wealth and worldly enjoyment, and others will be deprived of it. Also, there will be affairs which the people of sound judgement will reject. [So], when this era comes, it is obligated on them – those under the rulership of a Muslim ruler – to listen and obey in that which is good, fulfil the rights that have been obligated on them to fulfil and seek their rights from Allah – meaning: they supplicate to Allah to aid them in fulfilling their needs and facilitate them with ease in their affairs. And Allaah knows best. [7]

Strength and Security is Achieved Behind The Ruler

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him] said:

The Prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, ‘Verily, the leader is a shield behind whom they fight and he protects them. If he commands (people to) fear Allah [The Exalted] and justice, then he will have a reward. If he commands something else, then it will be against him’”. [Ṣaḥih Muslim 1841]

Regarding the Prophet’s statement, “The leader is a shield”, Imam An-Nawawi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

“He is like a shelter because he prevents the enemy from harming the Muslims, prevent the people from (harming) one another, protects the Muslim nation and the people fear his authority. And the meaning of the Prophet’s [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] statement, “Behind whom they fight”, meaning, alongside him they fight against the disbelievers (i.e. those at war with his country), the rebels, the khaarijites and all the perpetrators of corruption and oppression”. [8]

Al-Allamah Salih Al-Fawzan [may Allah preserve him] stated:

Towards the end of the Messenger’s life, he admonished the people as occurs in the hadeeth of Irbad Ibn Sariyah [may Allah be pleased with him] who said, ‘The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] led us in prayer one day, then turned his face towards us and delivered a powerful admonition that made our hearts fearful and our eyes tearful. So, a man said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah! It is as if it were a farewell admonition, so what do you enjoin upon us?’ He said, ‘I advise you to fear Allaah and to listen and obey even if a slave is a leader over you. Verily, the one who lives among you after me will see a lot of differences, so adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided khulafaa- adhere to it and bite onto that with your molar teeth (i.e. adhere to it firmly), and avoid the newly invented matters in the religion, because indeed every newly invented matter in the religion is an innovation in religion and every innovation in religion is misguidance'”.

In this command, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, commanded us to fear Allah. At-Taqwah is a comprehensive word that covers all good qualities. And the meaning of Taqwah is a ‘means of protection between yourself and what you fear will harm you’. It is what shields you from danger, such as (something used) as a means of protection between your foot and the excessive heat on the ground, or (something) placed as a means of protection between you and an injurious thing, or a shield placed as means of protection between you and a weapon, or )something) placed as a means of protection between you and the cold or the heat. This (i.e. above examples) are related to tangible things. As for Taqwah (in the divine revelation it means) to protect yourself from the Anger of Allah, His punishment and the fire of hell, by carrying out His commands and keeping away from His Prohibitions. You cannot be protected from the punishment of Allah, His Anger and the Fire of Hell by fortresses, armies and garments; rather you can only be protected through Fear of Allah [Glorified and Exalted be He] by carrying out Allah’s commands and keeping away from His Prohibitions.

Leadership cannot be accomplished except by way of Sam’i wat Taa’ah (i.e. to listen to the Ruler and being obedient to him) even if he is an Abyssinian slave and does not command a person to disobey Allah. Therefore, the Leader of the Muslims is to be obeyed because there is an overriding benefit for the Muslims in doing so, in order to bring about unity. However, the exception is what the Messenger stated that ‘There is no obedience to the creation in disobedience to the Creator’. Therefore, the ruler is not obeyed in disobedience to Allah, but he is obeyed in that which is in opposition to sin. However, this does not mean that we come out and rebel if he commands disobedience; rather we do not obey him in sin, but we obey him in those affairs that do not involve sin'”. [9]

The Shaikh also stated:

Allah, The Most High, said:

وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٲهِـۧمُ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡ هَـٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنً۬ا وَٱرۡزُقۡ أَهۡلَهُ ۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٲتِ مَنۡ ءَامَنَ مِنۡہُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأَخِرِ‌ۖ

And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said, “My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day.” [Surah Al-Baqarah. Ayah 126]

Indeed, he (Ibrahim- peace and blessings be upon him) gave priority to security over seeking sustenance because security is a necessity. Security is a necessity and the people cannot enjoy sustenance alongside fear; rather sustenance cannot be reached in the presence of fear. This is what the enemies desire- those who try to destabilise Muslim societies. They wish to disassociate the Muslims from their unity behind their Muslim rulers. This is what they desire – and they do not desire good advice (rectification etc) for the Muslims – in the name of fulfilling beneficial affairs, rectification, removal of oppression, and the like. All of this is lies and pretenses because if rulership slips away chaos will be at large, corruption will spread and the beneficial affairs which they say will be fulfilled will be non-existent. Corruption will be at large and there will not be rectification. Therefore, for this reason, there has to be rulership upon which the Muslims unite. Even if (such rulership) has shortcomings and negligence, the (people) should exercise patience because there is a prevention of that which is more severe and harmful in exercising patience. Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

“It is not known of a group that rose against their Muslim Ruler, except that their state of affairs after his removal was eviler than their state of affairs whilst he was present”. This is something experienced at present! The rulers and heads of state who have been removed, what is the state of affairs of their countries after they were (removed)? There has not ceased to be fear, anxiety, chaos, bloodshed, etc. [10]

Supplicating For The Rulers

Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: “I hold that the leader of the believers is to be obeyed (in good) in private and public, in my times of hardship and ease, in my times of enthusiasm and when I dislike doing something (i.e. something that’s not unlawful, but one does not like to do it, however he must do it in obedience to the ruler), and when others are given precedence over me. Indeed, I supplicate to Allah – night and day – for him to be successful and guided”. [11]

Abdus Samad Bin Yazid Al-Baghdadi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: I heard Al-Fudayl Bin Iyaad, may Allah have mercy upon him, saying, “If I had a supplication that would be accepted, I would not make it except for the leader”. It was said to him, “O father of Ali! Why is that?” He said, “When I make it for myself, it would be only for me, but if I make it for the leader, the rectification (or righteousness) of the leader would consequently result in the rectification of the people and the country”. It was said to him, “O father of Ali! How is that? Explain this to us”. He said, “As for the wellbeing of the land, if the people are safe from the ruler’s tyranny, they will develop abandoned areas and settle in the land. And with regards to the rectification of the people, one observes the affair of a people among the ignoramuses and says, ‘They have been distracted by the pursuit of livelihood rather than seeking what will benefit them with regards to learning the Qur’an and other things’. So, he gathers them together in a house – fifty in number, less or more, and says to a man, ‘You have what will make your affair upright and teach these people their religion’. Then you’ll see what Allah, The Mighty and Majestic, brings forth from among them that would make the land righteous (and prosperous, thrive, flourish, etc) and that would return to them (i.e. they’ll receive its benefits). This would be the rectification of the people and the country”. Imam Ibn Al-Mubarak, may Allah have mercy upon him, kissed Imam Fudayl’s forehead and said, “O teacher of goodness! Who else (i.e. among us) would be able to (say or do) this better than you?!” [12]

Daniel Rowe’s Absurd Self-entitlement and Delusions of Grandeur Scrutinised

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Most High, said:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. [An-Nisaa. 135]

This article serves as a brief reply to tactics employed by Daniel Rowe, who occasionally affirms and negates simultaneously as a deliberate linguistic strategy; utilises sarcasm, manifests delusion of grandeur, extreme self-entitlement, boastfulness, a victim mentality, and a craving for impunity—traits commonly observed among some Zionist supporters of Netanyahu and the IDF.

Daniel stated: Israel’s challenge: Embracing the world’s high expectations as a strength – opinion. [end of quote]

Response: Daniel’s self-amazement: dismantling his incadications to moral superiority – opinion.

Daniel stated: At some level, even our harshest critics expect more from us. They hold us to standards they would never dream of applying to themselves or their allies. [end of quote]

Response: You are expected to do more, not due to any unique qualities you possess, but because it is often observed that those who have endured the most suffering at the hands of others tend to be the most compassionate when given the chance to express kindness. You frequently speak of the horrors inflicted upon you by the Nazis, yet some members of your IDF continue to kill, brutalise, maim, and even shoot at Palestinians who seek the so-called aid you provide. Indeed, we could never aspire to emulate your Prime Minister and those who have violated the rules of war.

Daniel stated: The world watches Israel with an intensity that borders on obsession in ways that simply don’t apply to other nations engaged in similar conflicts. This scrutiny often feels unfair, even malicious – and sometimes it is. But what if this burden could be transformed into an opportunity? [end of quote]

Response: Millions of people with even a little sense of morality in this world observe what has taken place in recent years with a level of astonishment, as the Netanyahu-led regime has revealed its true nature through its actions. It is not that people are fixated on you; rather, they have not encountered any regime in recent history that so seamlessly blends brutality, deceit, entitlement, and a victim mentality. This level of scrutiny is neither unjust nor spiteful; therefore, transforming this situation and the weight of Netanyahu’s wrongdoings into a chance for change necessitates an immediate halt to over seventy years oppression.

Daniel stated: Israel faces a level of attention that defies rational explanation. The current Gaza conflict, for example, receives far more attention than all the other 32 wars currently occurring on planet Earth combined. This includes wars with far higher casualty rates. This is even though the civilian-to-combatant ratio in Gaza represents what may be the most restrained urban warfare in modern history. [end of quote]

Response: The people have observed a level of brutality, arrogance, impunity, and a victim mentality that is beyond rational explanation. They have not witnessed a recent conflict that has been conducted under the pretense of self-defense, while its leading ideologues, demagogues and rabble rousers have annihilated entire families who are neither armed nor combatants. Furthermore, when you begin to tally the number of casualties and compare them to others, you attempt to distract from the reality that this issue did not begin on October 8. Instead, it has been over 70 years of brutality, impunity, oppression, transgression, and a victim mentality. However, this does not mean that we condone the actions of Hamas against civilians and non-combatants.

Daniel stated: For years, two-thirds of all United Nations resolutions have focused on one tiny country: Israel. If an alien came down from another planet and wanted to understand what it is that humans think is the most important issue facing the planet, they would likely note that there is one single topic that rises above all others both in the UN and in media coverage worldwide, and that is the Jewish people in the Land of Israel who are not behaving well enough. [end of quote]

Response: It is quite absurd when one attempts to manipulate history. This is due to the fact that the United Nations was exploited by Western ideologues and demagogues among the Colonialists to bestow upon you possessions that rightfully do not belong to you. However, it matters little how many individuals oppose you, for some of those wielding veto power and who have commandeered the UN are aligned with your interests. Nothing can be enacted against the you if the demagogues, ideologues, and rabble-rousers of America are in disagreement.

A Brief Discussion on the Attribution to the Offspring of Prophet Yaqub In Our Era

Daniel stated: We are not just dealing with antisemitism, though that certainly exists, but something more complex. At some level, even our harshest critics expect more from us. They hold us to standards they would never dream of applying to themselves or their allies. [end of quote]

Response: Antisemitism is denounced whenever it is accurately identified yet it should not be exploited for manipulation or to foster a victim mentality. Read below:

https://abuiyaad.com/a/muhammad-semitic-prophet

Regarding the claim that you are subjected to expectations by others that they would never consider imposing on themselves or their associates, we reiterate that the criteria by which we evaluate actions is based on the revelation that prohibits the killing of women, children, and non-combatants, as well as the destruction of vegetation, mutilation, and the desecration of places of worship, among other things. Read below:

https://abuiyaad.com/a/justice-war-abu-bakr-advice
https://abuiyaad.com/a/slaughtering-children-holy-war/print

Daniel stated: The questions of why that is, or whether or not we should hold up a mirror to them, have proven to be irrelevant, as they simply return to the same actions over and over again. This predates the Gaza conflict and dates back to Israel’s very inception. Their obsession defies logic. [end of quote]

Response: This part of your speech revolves around how you are seen. What needs to be highlighted is that since 1948, Palestinians have consistently faced extreme aggressors among the Zionists. Thus, it doesn’t matter if you believe you shouldn’t have to make an effort because accusations will come regardless. Your very existence was enabled by the same individuals whose countries you wish to continue supplying you with weapons to harm Palestinians. The illogical obsession here is your fixation on claiming what isn’t yours, along with seeking backing to continue a conflict that you fruadulently present as essential for survival. In reality, it is a strategy to permanently displace Palestinians from their homeland, and Hamas did serve as your instrument in achieving that aim. Read: https://www.abuiyaad.com/w/hamas-israeli-right

Daniel stated: This impossible standard, however unfair, carries within it an unintended compliment: the world’s subconscious expectation that we should be different, that we should transcend the moral compromises that others accept as inevitable. [end of quote]

Response: Once again, we anticipate that you will act like ordinary individuals—individuals who do not remain passive while innocent people are murdered. There is no subconscious expectation for you to be any different; instead, what is required is for you to let go of this illusion of grandeur and invulnerability. Discard your empty ambitions—do not base your sense of moderation or ethics on a feeling of superiority over others, as you are not superior, nor does anyone with a shred of common sense believe you are, despite your assertions and self-promotion. Therefore, the matter at hand is not just about moral compromise, but rather a call for you to conduct yourself in a normal and humane manner.

Daniel said: This is not all negative. Israel, as the Jewish collective, is undoubtedly the most hated nation on earth. But it is also the most loved, admired, and adored. I travel the world as a visible Jew and have been stopped many times by people wanting to give me blessings – and wanting me to bless them. Not many other nations on Earth are thought of in the same way. It is not that the world hates us; it is that the world is obsessed with us. [end of quote]

Response: Once more, we see victim mentality, emotional rhetoric, and delusions of grandeur. No one has inflicted more destruction through hatred of Palestinians than the animosity expressed and acted upon by Netanyahu’s regime recently. Explore the vitriol that flows from the mouths of certain ideologues, demagogues, and rabble-rousers. Take the time to read:

Must take a look at what is happening in their own backyard first

It is quite amusing how biased you are. Firstly, while every Zionist professes to be a Jew, it is important to note that not every Jew identifies as a Zionist. Secondly, it is good that you have not encountered any anti-Semitism during your travels. Lastly, it is quite laughable how you present your image: merely receiving hospitality does not imply that there is a widespread positive sentiment towards Netanyahu and anyone who shares his destructive views. Furthermore, your transition from claiming to be the most reviled to asserting that such animosity is actually an obsession reveals your tendency to engage in sarcasm. The issue is straightforward: there should be no anti-Semitism, nor should there be genocide. What you refer to as obsession is, in fact, a legitimate demand from all conscientious individuals for you to stop over seventy years of oppression, self-deception, and victim mentality.

Daniel stated: How do we respond to this reality constructively? FIRST, WE must abandon the defeatist attitude that “they hate us anyway, so why bother explaining ourselves?” This approach has led to criminally negligent failures in public diplomacy. We lack the rapid response capabilities that any modern political campaign would consider essential. [end of quote]

Response: The discussion has circled back to the idea that they hate us, despite claims of obsession without hatred. It’s a manipulation of words and the emotions of the audience.

However, a more fitting approach would be to investigate as well the animosity directed towards Palestinians. People detest the brutality exhibited by certain allies of Netanyahu and some members of the IDF because they still possess some sense of morality, yet we also denounce antisemitism and the actions of Hamas against unarmed civilians and non-combatants; indeed, even combatants have rights that must be respected. You don’t need to justify your actions, nor will there be what you perceive as criminally negligent failures in public diplomacy, nor is there a requirement for rapid response political campaigning if everyone – including Netanyahu, yourself and myself- follow the infallible directives in the final divine revelation. Prince Turki Al-Faisal, may Allah preserve him, scolded both Netanyahu’s regime and Hamas. Listen below:

Daniel stated: When false claims spread, we often remain silent while the lie circles the globe, only issuing corrections weeks later, after the damage is done. Mark Twain is often credited with the quote that “a lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still getting its shoes on.” Secondly, we need to invest heavily in building alliances and shaping narratives before crises hit. Qatar transformed itself from an irrelevant backwater Arabian country to a major regional player in just two decades through strategic communication and relationship building. If they can do it, certainly we can marshal our considerable intellectual and creative resources to do the same. [end of quote]

Response: No one makes more false assertions than Netanyahu and some well known personalities among the Zionists. The greatest harm caused is simply the propaganda of Zionist Netanyahu. If this is Mark’s assertion, then we indeed affirm: “Zionist Netanyahu’s falsehoods and his ilk travel halfway around the globe while the truth is still putting on its shoes.”

Furthermore, you already possess numerous alliances, and some among you consistently attempt to manipulate narratives by exploiting antisemitism and the Holocaust to garner sympathy while perpetrating crimes against Palestinians. Qatar is a Muslim nation, and we ask Allah to empower the Muslim leaders and countries so they can effectively counter Netanyahu’s false narratives.

Daniel stated: We need to proactively find and engage with the billions of people who love us, not just keep fighting those who hate us. Through equitable relationship building with partners who face similar difficulties in their regions, we can create a new narrative. The third, and to my mind by far the most important, is to abandon the expectation that we be treated like every other nation. We should give up trying to be an ordinary people. If the world scrutinizes us in an extraordinary way, it is because of a deep, perhaps subconscious expectation that we are meant to be an extraordinary people. [end of quote]

Response: The countless individuals who adore you and those who despise you do not serve as a measure by which your behaviour is evaluated; instead, your state is assessed according to your deeds. There is no regime comparable to Netanyahu’s in its harsh treatment of the Palestinians. Thus, the challenges faced by Jews stem solely from the actions of their ideologues, demagogues, and rabble-rousers, whose behaviours have resulted in land theft, murder, and the displacement of Palestinian children and non-combatants since 1948. As a result, those unable to address this issue fairly may resort to extreme measures, potentially harming innocent Jews or taking the law into their own hands in other nations. This creates a vicious cycle that we denounce—condemning both the Netanyahu and his ilk who promote the continuation of brutal policies and those who attack Jewish citizens or take the law into their own hands.

Furthermore, the only individuals with whom Netanyahu can maintain a so-called equitable relationship are those who either support him with weapons to continue their brutality, back them politically for financial gain, or out of fear of being labeled an antisemite, a Jew hater, or a Holocaust denier. These individuals will assist Netanyahu in crafting a new narrative. However, this does not imply that if Netanyahu genuinely seek peace without deceit, the matter is left to the Muslim leaders to extend a hand to establish treaties, just as the Prophet made peace with the Jewish tribes after migrating to Madinah. Read here: https://abukhadeejah.com/treaties-with-the-non-muslims-do-they-necessitate-allegiance/

Daniel stated: The third, and to my mind by far the most important, is to abandon the expectation that we be treated like every other nation. We should give up trying to be an ordinary people. If the world scrutinizes us in an extraordinary way, it is because of a deep, perhaps subconscious expectation that we are meant to be an extraordinary people. [end of quote]

Response: Netanyahu’s regime stands out as the only one in the world that operates without accountability. Many individuals within Netanyahu’s regime and his associates are notorious for their genocidal rhetoric. Those specific Zionists who back Netanyahu’s regime are not remarkable in a commendable way; instead, many of them are notable for their blameworthy characteristics – an incessant craving for impunity, a victim mentality, genocidal language, unfounded claims to land, and false accusations against those who justly criticise them, as well as exploiting the Holocaust and antisemitism to silence dissent, among other negative traits. These flaws are evident to people as clearly as the midday sun, and this examination is not rooted in some supposed subconscious expectation that Netanyahu and his associates should be an admirable group; rather, the expectation is for them to cease brutality and impunity.

Daniel stated: THE FOUNDING texts of Christianity and Islam are about the Jews. The founding texts of hard-left politics, from the founders of communism, were mostly written by Jews. The Jew lies at the center of their very identity, which simultaneously produces unparalleled admiration and unmatched resentment, jealousy, and fear. [end of quote]

Response: This segment of Daniel’s deception, characterised by absurd ambiguity and psychological manipulation, becomes even more contentious due to his incorporation of religion into the discourse. The foundational texts of the messages delivered by the noble Prophets Isa and Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon both of them and all the prophets, were rooted in pure, unadulterated revelation from the Lord of the words, despite the fact that all scriptures have been abrogated and distorted with the exception of the Qur’an. Bani Israel is referenced because they were among the earlier nations to whom Allah sent prophets with the message of Tawhid, including prophet Isa, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

Therefore, the term “founding texts” requires both specification and elaboration, as the noble prophet Isa, peace be upon him, was sent as a messenger to Bani Israel, clearly demonstrating that he was instructed to amend certain laws of the Torah, though not all of it. In contrast, Muhammad’s message abrogated all previous texts. Thus, the use of the term “founding texts” should not imply that Jews are mentioned solely based on their identity or due to an eternal superiority; rather, they are acknowledged as recipients of scriptures and prophets, with some adhering to their prophets while others did not, as the Qur’an recounts numerous issues concerning Bani Israel.

Furthermore, the Jew does not occupy the core of our identity; instead, Bani Israel received revelation, with some acting upon it and others failing to do so. Thus, those who sincerely followed the prophets of Bani Israel and passed away while  adhering to pure monotheism were Muslims, as all previous prophets and their true followers were Muslims – submitting to Allah through Tawhid, obeyed Him, kept away from Shirk and its proponents. And following the arrival of Prophet Isa, anyone who chose not to follow him was led astray, and their destination is the everlasting flames of hell. Subsequently, after the emergence of Prophet Muhammad, those who adhere to Prophet Isa or any other prophet are likewise misled, and their destination is to dwell in the fire for eternity. Read here:

[9] The Three Monotheistic Religions! [Brief Observations On This Statement Uttered By Writers Who Are Ignorant About Islaam And Misguided Modernists Speaking In The Name of Islaam]

Therefore, there is no reason for the existence of an extraordinary admiration alongside unparalleled resentment, jealousy, and fear. The core issue is that there were rightly guided Jews who adhered to the prophets, and subsequently, others embraced Islam following the arrival of Muhammad. Additionally, there were Jews who rejected both Muhammad and Isa, peace and blessings of Allah be upon both of them and all the prophets. Therefore, we hold admiration for the believers among the followers of the previous prophets and do not extend admiration to those who disbelieved in Isa or Muhammad, irrespective of their ethnicity. We harbour no jealousy towards any of them, for how could we envy those whose path leads to misguidance and ruin in this life and the hereafter? We also do not fear them, rather, our concern lies in avoiding the circumstances that led them to a state of disbelief in the final messenger while still claiming what they do not possess. Allah, The Most High, stated:

لَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفۡرَحُونَ بِمَآ أَتَواْ وَّيُحِبُّونَ أَن يُحۡمَدُواْ بِمَا لَمۡ يَفۡعَلُواْ فَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّہُم بِمَفَازَةٍ۬ مِّنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ‌ۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ۬

Think not that those who rejoice in what they have done (or brought about), and love to be praised for what they have not done,- think not you that they are rescued from the torment, and for them is a painful torment. [Aal Imran. 188]

Think not that those who rejoice in what they have done (or brought about).

Meaning, the rejoicing (accompanied) with insolence and boasting, thinking that they have done a favour to Allah and Allah’s Messenger.

[بِمَآ أَتَواْ – what they have done (or brought about)]- Meaning, the deeds by way of which they seek to get close to Allaah as they claim.

And love to be praised for what they have not done.

Meaning, they want people to praise them for what they have done, such as feigning righteousness to the people in order to be praised, even if they have not performed an act of righteousness- similar to what the people of the Scripture did, (who) concealed the characteristics of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and did not make it known, and then said, “Now we have overcome Muhammad when we say that he is not the Mubash’shar bihee “the Messenger whom Prophet Isa mentioned as the good tidings.

This verse [188 in Aal Imran] includes two types of people: The people of the Scripture who rejoiced in what they did by concealing the characteristics of the Prophet and not believing in him, and loved to be praised for what they have not done when they pretended to the people that if the Messenger – who is mentioned as good tidings (by Eesaa)- is sent, “We will believe in him”.

The second group are the hypocrites. This is because the hypocrites rejoice in what they do and say, “We have submitted in Islam” in the presence of Muhammad and his companions, whilet their situation is the opposite of that, and they loved to be praised for what they have not done with regards to sincerity, love for Allah and His Messenger, and obedience to Allah’s Messenger. [1]

Daniel stated: Jews returning to their land was and is a cataclysmic event. The world watched with bated breath as the ancient people of Israel walked out of the grave of Auschwitz into the redemption of the Promised Land. They waited to see what we would build. Subconsciously, they awaited the fulfillment of God’s promise to Abraham: ‘Through you will be blessed all the families of the Earth.’ And then we went and tried to be like everyone else. Response: This section is not in need of elaboration, rather, we’ll post these links to address the issue.

The Promised Land: A Brief Examination from a Religious and Historical Perspective

A Brief Discussion on the Attribution to the Offspring of Prophet Yaqub In Our Era

Daniel stated: For the first seventy years of statehood, we had little choice but to survive. Despite levels of hostility and adversity that might have broken many fledgling states, Israel experienced miracles, both Divine intervention and human determination. Its achievements are beyond admirable by comparison to other nations facing far lesser challenges. [end of quote]

Response: Survival is an inherent human instinct. Furthermore, you initiated the conflict by seizing land and forcibly removing its legitimate owners. There have been no miracles in your journey; instead, you were supported by some of the most influential ideologues and Christian Zionist colonisers, who provided you with appropriated property. Regarding divine intervention, even the most notorious tyrants, while perpetrating their tyranny, believed that their false deities or ideologies rendered them invulnerable or would enable their oppression to persist indefinitely. Thus, this so called miracle of yours is nothing but Al-Istidraj, as Allah said:

وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
وَأُمْلِي لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ كَيْدِي مَتِينٌ

Those who reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), We shall gradually seize them with punishment in ways they perceive not. And I respite them; certainly My Plan is strong. [Al-A’raf 182-183]

[سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم – We shall gradually seize them with punishment] – by granting them plentiful provision and respite until they think that they will neither be taken to task for their disobedience nor punished, so they increase in disbelief and transgression, and evil upon evil. And through this their punishment is increased and multiplied, so they harm themselves in ways they perceive not. This is why Allah said: [إِنَّ كَيْدِي مَتِينٌ -certainly My Plan is strong] [2]

We shall gradually seize them with punishment in ways they perceive not.

Imaam Sufyaan Ath-Thawree, may Allah have mercy upon him, said that this means, ”Whenever they commit [major] sins, Allaah bestows a blessing on them and make them forgetful of seeking forgiveness. [3]

Thus, it is not unexpected that after committing acts of violence against Palestinians for over 70 years without facing consequences, Netanyahu and his ilk view this as a positive divine intervention, driven by self-promotion and baseless assertions. The determination and achievements of the rebellious individuals among Bani Israel in the past are not worthy of praise, despite their closer adherence to the Torah compared to Netanyahu. There is nothing commendable about the cruelty exhibited by Netanyahu, nor is there anything laudable about the earlier murderers from the previous Zionist regimes since 1948. Rational individuals do not admire the violent actions of Netanyahu and his predecessors. Furthermore, it was the colonialists who aided the Zionists to start their campaign of terror.

Daniel stated: But now, we feel inner national schisms developing around our core identity. Simultaneously, the world is pushing us as hard as possible to become a nation through which all humanity becomes blessed. While we should not stop calling out the unfair double standards, we can and should embrace the message the world is screaming to us. It is time to make the mission statement of the nation of Israel: “Through you shall be blessed all nations of the world.” THE WORLD is moving at hyper-speed into phases like none we have ever seen. The world in 30 years is likely to be as different from our world as the Neolithic farmers are from us today. As AI-powered humanoid robots, driverless cars, and brain chips move from science fiction to reality, the possibilities of a radically different world are opening up in ways unimaginable. [end of quote]

Response: The significance of your identity or that of others is not what the creator emphasises; instead, the creator commands us with the piety that should be sought in accordance with the teachings of the final messenger. Allah, The Exalted, stated:

O mankind, We have created you from a male (Ādam) and female (Eve) (making you all of equal lineage) and We made you into nations and tribes that you may know one another (and fulfil each other’s rights). Verily, the most honourable of you with Allāh is the most pious of you (and not the noblest in lineage or most affluent) (so do not be boastful and belittle others). Indeed, Allāh is all-Knowing, all-Aware. [4]

What we keep telling you is that you act upon this verse because one day you will face your Lord and be asked if you responded to the message of the final messenger, Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. Disbelief and defiance against the final prophet’s path are not praiseworthy, rather, they lead to chaos and destruction in this life and the next. Allah, The Exalted, said:

Those who disbelieved among the People of the Book and the Polytheists were not going to be parted (from their disbelief and polytheism) until there came to them clear evidence. (This being) a Messenger from Allāh, reciting pages purified (of all falsehood and containining all goodness). Within which are upright (truths contained in past) scriptures (and just laws and prescriptions). And those who were given the Scripture (and were awaiting the arrival of a Messenger in Arabia) did not become divided (regarding the Messenger and his mention in their scriptures) until after the clear evidence—(this Messenger and this Qurʾān)—had come to them (so some believed and others disbelieved). [Al-Bayyinah 1-4]

The pace at which the world is advancing will not eliminate the individuals who uphold the truth and the devoted followers of the messengers. Whether it takes 30 years or extends to the end of time, these steadfast followers will persist in fulfilling the purpose for which humanity was created: to worship Allah alone and to obey the messengers, the final one being Muhammad. No one will have a more positive influence than the noble Isa upon his return, and conversely, no one will wield a more destructive influence than Dajjaj. However, Isa will triumph alongside the true believers, while Dajjaj and his followers will face destruction. Thus, everything else, including AI and other advancements, whether beneficial or harmful, falls under the will of the Creator. Regardless of the significant changes that may occur in 30 years or even before the end of time, the people of Iman will remain steadfast and resolute by the will of Allah. Therefore, a wise individual, irrespective of the transformations in this world, should aim to meet his Lord by following the path of the final messenger and fulfilling the purpose for which he was sent to this world, which is not aligned with Zionism or any other man-made ideologies.

Daniel stated: The Jewish people have always lived for the future, and we need to continue to do so. The fractious tribes of the modern State of Israel can and should come together to ask one question: how can each of us contribute to the new mission of the State of Israel, the ancient mission of the nation of Israel: “Through you will be blessed all the nations of the earth”? Our centers of innovation create new possibilities. Our centers of Torah study focus on the call of God that spawned the theologies, philosophies, and revolutions that dominate the world to this day. By bringing these two poles together, we can forge new pathways to bring humanity into a new age of miraculous harmony, spirituality, healing, and connection. We can help shape a world that once lived only in the prophecies and dreams of our ancestors. The biblical call to be “a light unto the nations” is a practical blueprint for turning our burden into our strength. If the world won’t treat us like everyone else, then let’s prove we’re not like everyone else. Let’s use the impossible standards we face as motivation to achieve the impossible. [end of quote]

Response: Every human being aspires for a brighter future, holding onto the hope of improvement, even though the definition of a good future is shaped by following the final revelation—the Qur’an and the Sunnah—since this is the purpose of life. Furthermore, it is crucial for those living under Netanyahu’s authority to unite and question whether Zionism truly reflects the teachings of prophets Musa and Isa, peace and blessings of Allah be upon them. They should also ponder why figures like the Jewish scholar Abdullah Bin Sallam, may Allah be pleased with him, and other Jews embraced Islam. Additionally, those ancient Jews who truly followed the prophets are in paradise InShaAllah, whereas Netanyahu and his ilk are obstinate opposers of Allāh’s command. The sole route to blessings is the Qur’an and Sunnah, rather than relying on Zionism or abrogated and distorted Scriptures. As for your innovative efforts in worldly affairs, they should not be a reason for arrogance and self-entitlement at all cost, nor utilised to oppress Palestinians or find ways to prolong conflicts. Moreover, the Qur’an supersedes the Torah, and Allah only accepts the path laid out by the final messenger. There is no necessity for theological debates, philosophical inquiries, or revolutions based on the Torah; instead, the Torah given to noble Musa, peace be upon him, was meant to guide the Children of Israel towards righteousness, Tawhid, and dignity. Allah, The Exalted, stated:

Verily, We did send down the Taurat (Torah) [to Musa (Moses)], therein was guidance and light, by which the Prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah’s Will, judged the Jews. And the rabbis and the priests [too judged the Jews by the Taurat (Torah) after those Prophets] for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah’s Book, and they were witnesses thereto. Therefore fear not men but fear Me (O Jews) and sell not My Verses for a miserable price. And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kafirun (i.e. disbelievers – of a lesser degree as they do not act on Allah’s Laws). [Al-Ma’idah 44]

Daniel stated: By bringing these two poles together, we can forge new pathways to bring humanity into a new age of miraculous harmony, spirituality, healing, and connection.

Response: Humanity has no need of the Zionists following the arrival of the final messenger, as there is no greater guide than the Qur’an and Sunnah for fostering harmony, healing, justice, and peaceful coexistence. Those who believe in the final messenger are not influenced by anyone else’s guidance but that of the final messenger. Only through the path of the final Messenger can one illuminate nations, as it serves as the blueprint for success and harmony. The believers do not demand that you to be anything other than what the Creator has ordained, which is to follow the final messenger. Allah stated:

O people of the Scripture! Now has come to you Our Messenger (Muhammad) explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and passing over (i.e. leaving out without explaining) much. Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a light (Prophet Muhammad) and a plain Book (this Quran). Wherewith Allah guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will unto light and guides them to a Straight Way (Islamic Monotheism). [Al-Ma’idah 15-16]

May Allah knows best.

Condemning Tribalism and Clanism Without Supporting External Exploitation

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Al-Allamah Salih Al-Fawzan, may Allah preserve him, said:

What is Dhulm (injustice or oppression)? It is three types according to the people of knowledge. Firstly, the greatest of them is Shirk. Why is shirk referred as Dhulm? This is because the basis of injustice is to place something in other than its rightful place. The meaning of Shirk is to devote acts of worship to other than its rightful place and this is the greatest injustice because when they (i.e. the people of Shirk) devoted acts of worship to other than its rightful place and to those who are not deserving of it, they equated the created (beings) to the Creator, and a weak one (i.e. a created being) to Al-Qawiy [The One Perfect in Strength (i.e. Allaah)], who is not unable to do anything. Thus, is there any greater injustice after this?

The second type of Dhulm is committed when a person oppresses himself by committing sins. A sinner oppresses himself because he exposes himself to punishment, even though it is obligated to him to save himself and place himself in an appropriate situation and that is to obey Allah.

The third type of Dhulm is committed when a person oppresses others by taking their wealth, or backbiting them, or spreading tales about them, or stealing their wealth, or violating their honour through backbiting, tale carrying, slander, or shedding their blood through murder, or beating them, inflicting injuries, degrading them without right etc [1] [end of quote]

Indeed, the foremost priority is not the accumulation of material wealth or earthly influence; rather, the purpose of life is to worship of Allah alone and adherence to the path of the final Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in every facet of life. Otherwise, material success, no matter how formidable, will ultimately fade away, for Allah bestows strength upon whomever He wills based on His perfect Wisdom and Justice. A believer understands that strength and honour can only be attained through obedience to Allah and His Messenger. Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated:

“Whoever ponders upon circumstances of the world will find that every matter of rectification is due to Tawheed, singling out Allah in worship and obedience to His Messenger (Muhammad). And every evil in the world, trial, affliction, scarcity (in livelihood), being overpowered by an enemy and other than that is due to opposition to the Messenger and the call to other than (the way of) Allah and His Messenger. Whoever truly ponders upon this and examines the circumstances of the world- since its beginning and until the time Allah will take it away and those upon it, he will realise this regarding himself and others, in general and specific (circumstances). And there is no Might or Power except with Allah –The Most High, The Most Great”. [2]

In stating all of this, it is important to recognise that dominance does not imply that the dominant party must oppress, nor is oppression to be considered other than its true nature. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said that Allah said:

“O My servants! I have forbidden oppression for Myself, and I have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another”. [3]

Thus, it should not be considered nationalism when nations that have faced oppression and exploitation for extended periods choose to seek fair treatment and establish a partnership grounded in transparency. If a nation chooses to terminate exploitation by taking decisive actions to gain control over its natural resources, this courageous decision is a strategic initiative rather than a mere bureaucratic modification or nationalism; it represents a quest for economic sovereignty, just resource management, and liberation from organisations that symbolise neocolonial dominance. This cannot be classified as nationalism if it is a response to decades of exploitation of a nation’s mineral resources, which were previously left vulnerable to external forces with minimal advantages for the local population, thereby perpetuating constant economic dependency on aid and interest loans from the exploiters.

A country has the right to implement measures that guarantee the extraction of its resources in accordance with national interests, while also attracting responsible investors and ensuring equitable profit distribution. This stance is not an expression of nationalism; rather, it is a proclamation of economic sovereignty and a rejection of the ongoing role as a resource colony for foreign entities.

It is praiseworthy when a nation implements strategies to ensure it retains a just portion of the wealth produced from its resources and generating revenues that can be reinvested into vital infrastructure and social programs that  transforming the lives of ordinary citizens. Such initiatives include constructing roads to link rural communities with markets and services, establishing schools and hospitals, ensuring accessible education and healthcare, and supporting farmers through the provision of modern agricultural equipment and tools. These efforts aim to enhance productivity and food security, as well as initiate youth employment programs to generate jobs and opportunities. All these initiatives are commendable. Furthermore, these measures help to eliminate the influence of international loan sharks, liberate the nation from constraints, and challenge the neoliberal policies imposed by international institutions that prioritise foreign investment over local development.

Economic bondage cannot be escaped when wealthy international institutions offer their liberal reforms aimed at resource extraction in return for substantial loans to certain so-called poor countries, which may favour multinational corporations at the expense of local communities. Therefore, those who seek liberation from these constraints should not be viewed as nationalistic or as destabilising forces.

The believer deals justly with everyone, whether with Muslims or non-Muslims. He does not behave like those who demand their rights in full but oppress others. Allah, The Most High, said:

وَيْلٌ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ
ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكْتَالُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ

Woe to those who (deceptively) give less (than full weight or measure) (in trading goods) (or: fulfilling rights) (or: in acts of worship). Those who, when they are to receive (something) by measure from people, demand full measure (or more). But when they have to give to them by measure or by weight, they give less than (what is) due. [Al-Mutaffifeen 1-3]

Therefore, when we condemn tribalism or clanism, it should not be understood that we are asking African Muslims to be passive when dealing with exploiters nor are we suggesting that they abandon their traditions that do not oppose the pure and authentic Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

Ramadan: Responsibility, Moderation, and Generosity; Recitation and Good Companionship, Preservation of The Sunnah

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Responsibility, Moderation, and Generosity

Allah, The Most High, said:

وَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَىٰ حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ وَلَا تُبَذِّرْ تَبْذِيرًا
إِنَّ الْمُبَذِّرِينَ كَانُوا إِخْوَانَ الشَّيَاطِينِ ۖ وَكَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ لِرَبِّهِ كَفُورًا

And give to the kindred his due, and to the Miskin (poor) and to the wayfarer. But spend not wastefully (your wealth) in the manner of a spendthrift. Verily, spendthrifts are brothers of the Shayaateen (devils), and the Shaytan (Devil – Satan) is ever ungrateful to his Lord. [Al-Israa. 26–27]

Imam As-Sa’di, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Shaytan does not call a person except to every blameworthy habit. Thus, he calls him to miserliness and to refrain from spending. But when the person refuses to obey him, he calls him to overspending and extravagance. However, Allah calls to the most just and balanced of affairs, and He praises the person for that, as He, The One free from all imperfections, stated about His faithful slaves:

وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَنْفَقُوا لَمْ يُسْرِفُوا وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُوا وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ قَوَامًا

And those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes). [Al-Furqan. 67] [1]

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

“The limits of generosity are between two extremes, and when one goes beyond its limits, it leads to extravagance and squandering. When a person is lacking in generosity, it leads to miserliness and tight-fistedness”. [2]

Al-Allamah Salih Al-Fawzan, may Allah preserve him, said:

“Those squanderers who waste meat and food and dispose of it in waste bins should be reminded that there are hungry people hoping for a mouthful and a scrap of bread. They should fear Allah and fear Him in their gatherings, and ensure that they do not become the cause of Allah’s blessings being stopped.” [3]

Generosity, Recitation of The Qur’an, and Good Companionship

Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, narrated:

“The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was the most generous amongst the people, and he used to be more so in the month of Ramadan when Jibreel visited him. Jibreel used to meet him on every night of Ramadan till the end of the month. The Prophet used to recite the Noble Qur’an to Jibreel, and when Jibreel met him, he used to be more generous than the fair wind [sent by Allah with glad tidings (rain) in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds].” [Al-Bukhari 1902]

Zain Ibn Al-Munir, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

“The intent behind the likeness (or comparison) between the Prophet’s, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, generosity and the fair wind is that the wind is one of mercy which Allah, The Most High, sends, and sends down rain that falls everywhere—both on dead land as well as land that is not dead. The Prophet’s good conduct and benevolence benefit everyone—the poor, the wealthy, and the one who has enough—more than the rain that falls (after the arrival of that) fair wind.” [4]

Imam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

“He, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was the most generous amongst the people with regard to wealth and bestowing (things) to the people, and not that he was generous only after being asked. In the final year (of his life), Jibreel met him twice, and he finished the recitation of the (Qur’an) twice. From the benefits of (this hadith) are: It is more virtuous to study and recite the Qur’an at night with the righteous people, the scholars, and the good people. The Prophet recited to receive that which Allah has of reward. Generosity in times (when people are in need) and in Ramadan is something sought after.” [5]

Preservation of The Sunnah and Not Opposing It

Abu Dharr, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “My Ummah will continue in goodness so long as they hasten to break their fast and delay the pre-fasting meal.” [Sahih Al-Jami 7224]

Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “The religion will not cease to prevail as long as people hasten to break the fast, because the Jews and the Christians (i.e., those amongst them who deviated from the path of their Prophets) delay it.” [6]

Sahl Ibn Sa’d, may Allah be pleased with him, said that Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “The people will not cease to be upon good as long as they hasten to break the fast.” [7]

Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: “This is a text regarding the triumph of the religion, attained through hastening to break the fast, and it is for the purpose of opposing the (misguidance of the) Jews and Christians. When opposing them is a reason behind the triumph of the religion, then the purpose of sending the Messengers is so that the religion ordained by Allah prevails over all others. Therefore, being in opposition to (the deviated people) is one of the greatest objectives behind the advent of the Messengers.” [8]

Imam An-Nawawi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

“In this is an urge to hasten (to break the fast) after the setting of the sun is ascertained. This means that the Ummah will not cease being consistent and will remain upon good if they preserve this Prophetic tradition. If they delay breaking the fast, this is a sign of corruption. [9]

They will not cease to be upon good if they do this by acting upon the Sunnah and limiting themselves to its prescribed legislated boundaries, and not being over-stringent (through what their) intellects (suggest to them) and changing its principles. The people of the scripture [i.e., those amongst them who deviated] delayed breaking the fast until the stars appeared. [10]

[22] The Character Trait Most Hated By The Messenger

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, narrated:

“There was no trait more hated to Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, than lying. A man would speak based on lies in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he would not be content until he knew that he had repented”. [Sahih Tirmidhi 1973]

Al-Allamah Rabee bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Through him [Muhammad – peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], Allah removed us from the darkness of Shirk, indecency, Bidah, evil deeds and bad manners – lying, deceit, quackery, trickery, etc. And He (purified us) with pure (Islamic) monotheism and strong, sincere Iman. He nurtured us upon truthfulness, took the oath of allegiance from us that we speak the truth wherever we may be, and warned us against lies and evil deeds.

And from the recompense for a liar is that which has been reported from the noble Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him- the person of high moral character – who said: “I saw (in a dream) – two men came to me.” Then the Prophet said, “They said, ‘The person whose cheek you saw being torn away (from the mouth to the ear) was a liar and used to tell lies, and the people would report those lies on his authority till they spread (that lie) all over the world. So, he will be punished like that till the Day of Resurrection.'” [Al-Bukhari 6096]

How numerous are those who tell lies today against the carriers of Salafiyyah and its callers! They hinder men from the path of Allah through these lies to aid falsehood, spurious (beliefs, stances, ideas, views, etc.), bidah, (things) that are destructive to the sound creed, methodology and virtuous manners. We gently say to all of this, “No one is infallible; and everyone — regardless of their knowledge, status, or personal achievements — can become forgetful, lackadaisical, or overwhelmed by Fitan. Thus, reminders must be presented to all of us.”

Allah, The Most High, said:

Has not the time come for the hearts of those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism) to be affected by Allah’s Reminder (this Qur’an), and that which has been revealed of the truth, lest they become as those who received the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] before (i.e. Jews and Christians), and the term was prolonged for them and so their hearts were hardened? And many of them were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). [Al-Hadid.16]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

When it is the case that Iman necessitates and demands humility, they were called from the station of Iman to the station of Ihsan, which means, “Has the time not come for them to reach Ihsan through Iman and actualise that through submission to Allah’s Reminder, which Allah sent down to them?

Ibn Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with him, said:

There were only four years between (the period when we accepted) Islam and (the revelation of this) admonition to us”. (1)

Lest they become as those who received the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] before (i.e. Jews and Christians), and the term was prolonged for them and so their hearts were hardened.

Imam As-Sadi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Meaning, do not be like those to whom Allah revealed the book, which obligates on the hearts humility and complete submission, but they neither preserved (the scripture) nor (maintained) firmness upon it; rather, the term was prolonged for them while they continued on heedlessness, thus, their Iman dwindled and their certainty ceased.

Therefore, the hearts require constant reminders of what Allah has revealed and discourse about its wisdom. It is not permitted to become heedless of this, as it is a cause of hardening the hearts.

Then Allah said in verse 17:

اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

Know that Allah gives life to the earth after its death! Indeed We have made clear the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to you, so that may understand.

Imam As-Sadi, may Allah have mercy upon him, commented:

فإن الآيات تدل العقول على العلم بالمطالب الإلهية، والذي أحيا الأرض بعد موتها قادر على أن يحيي الأموات بعد موتهم، فيجازيهم بأعمالهم، والذي أحيا الأرض بعد موتها بماء المطر قادر على أن يحيي القلوب الميتة بما أنزله من الحق على رسوله، وهذه الآية تدل على أنه لا عقل لمن لم يهتد بآيات الله و[لم] ينقد لشرائع الله

For indeed, the Ayat direct the (sound) intellects to الطالب الالهية (the knowledge regarding Tawhid, Prophethood, the Hereafter and other matters related to sound creed). And the One who revives the earth after its death is able to resurrect the dead after their death, so as to reward them for their deeds. And the One who revives the earth through rainwater is able to revive the dead hearts through the truth He has revealed to His Messenger. This verse demonstrates that there is no (sound) intellect for the one who is neither guided through Allah’s Ayat nor submits to the divine ordainments. (2)

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

Indeed, every deed has enthusiasm, and every enthusiasm has a time limit (or period of inactivity). Whoever’s time of enthusiasm is for my Sunnah has been guided and he is ruined if upon other than that.(3)

In another narration, the Prophet said, “So, if the doer behaves in an upright manner and is moderate, then have hope for him (i.e. success)”. (4)

“If its doer behaves in an upright manner and is moderate”.

Al-Allamah Al-Mubaarakrufee, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Meaning, the doer becomes moderate (i.e. within the boundaries of the Shariah) and avoids the two extremes- excess at the time of enthusiasm and negligence at the time of inactivity. (5)

Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with him, said:

Whoever wants to follow a path, let him follow the path of one who has passed away, for indeed the living are not safe from trial, and those (who have passed away) are the Companions of Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. They were the most virtuous of this Ummah, the purest in heart, the most profound in knowledge and the least the sophisticated. Allah chose them to accompany His Prophet and to establish His religion, so recognise their status and follow in their footsteps and adhere as much as you can to their manners and conduct, for they were upon upright guidance”.(6)

Imam Ahmad, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Whoever becomes acquainted with the path of truth, it has been made easy for him to follow. And there is no proof for adhering to the path of Allah except through emulating the Messenger, peace be upon him, in his conduct, statements, and deeds.” (7)

We ask Allah:

O Allah! I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, stress, the punishment of the grave, and the fitna of Dajjal. O Allah! Grant my soul its piety, because You are the Best to purify it. You are its Protector and Guardian. I seek refuge in You from a heart that does not fear (You), the knowledge which does not benefit, and the supplication that is not responded to.” (8)

Brief Scrutiny of a Narrative and a Prediction by Rabbi Stewart Weiss

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah – The Most High – said:

وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا الْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

And mix not truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth while you know (the truth). [Al-Baqarah 42]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him] said:

Allah forbade us from mixing truth with falsehood, thus it leads to the concealment of the truth. This mixing occurs when the two are combined in such a way that one becomes indistinguishable from the other. It is a form of forgery and deceit, where what appears to be true is actually the opposite in reality. Similarly, when truth is intertwined with falsehood, the perpetrator presents falsehood in the guise of truth and communicates with a statement that carries dual meanings – one that is accurate and another that is false. Thus, the listener is deceived into believing that the speaker intends the genuine meaning, while in reality, the speaker intends the corrupt interpretation. [1]

Allah said:

O people of the Scripture! Now has come to you Our Messenger (Muhammad) explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and passing over (i.e. leaving out without explaining) much. Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a light (Prophet Muhammad) and a plain Book (this Quran). Wherewith Allah guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will unto light and guides them to a Straight Way (Islamic Monotheism). [Al-Ma’idah 15-16]

The aim of this short article is not to deny any group’s right to exist within the human race, nor to support the oppression of any individual. Instead, it serves as a religious examination aimed at clarifying the exaggerations of a Rabbi who, in our view, seeks to use abrogated texts for political purposes.

Furthermore, it is important to recognise that not all individuals who identify as Jewish endorse or support the actions of Netanyahu’s regime, who have been perpetrating violence and oppression against Palestinians—actions that many have described as genocidal. Similarly, we reject the actions of any group or individual identifying as Muslim—whether in Palestine, the UK, or elsewhere—that harms non-combatants, regardless of the victims’ religious backgrounds. Also, we do not support vigilantism or anti-Semitism in any form. Must read clarifications provided at the end of this article. [Refer “Footnote a” at the end of this article]

In an article written by Rabbi Stewart Weiss for the Jerusalem Post, entitled “World War III has begun: A war on truth, freedom, and justice”, he began by stating: “While this world war revolves around the acquisition of land and partisan belief systems, it is also a War on Freedom, a War on Justice, and a War on Truth”. [End of quote]

Let’s remind Stewart that he bears the responsibility for his illegal partisanship, even as he attempts to justify it by suggesting that others are similarly biased in their beliefs. It’s important to recognise that both humans and Jinn have been given the freedom to choose between guidance and misguidance, and there is no compulsion in religion; however, the only belief system that Allah accepts is the final revelation—the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Allah said:

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers]. [Aal Imran 85]

Therefore, those who submit are guided, while those who reject it, like Stewart, have not yet responded to the command of their Lord. Furthermore, it’s well known that the way Stewart’s people acquire land cannot be described as anything else but blatant oppression, as no reasonable individual would endorse the actions of settlers who illegally take land on a daily basis.

When it comes to the war for freedom that Stewart refers to, it’s important to realise that true freedom -first and foremost – is found in surrendering to the will of the Creator, worshipping Him alone and follow his final Messenger, Muhammad- peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, rather than succumbing to our own desires. Allah said:

Have you seen him who takes his own lust (vain desires) as his ilah (god), and Allah knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight. Who then will guide him after Allah? Will you not then remember? [Al-Jathiyah 23]

Al-Allamah Salih Aala Ash-Shaikh, may Allah preserve him, stated:

Absolute and unlimited freedom for a person to do anything he wants – without being held accountable – does not exist in any place on Earth; rather, freedoms exist where they are found, but they have limits, and people are told that anything beyond that limit is forbidden and is not freedom. This makes you understand that the word freedom is not present anywhere on the earth but in a limited sense. As for absolute freedom in everything, including dealings with wealth, politics, court judgements, one’s actions, the sanctity of life, and dealing with one’s children, this does not exist without restriction anywhere on the earth. Rather, freedom varies by country, with some countries having much less freedom than others. As a result, the word freedom, which they argue is part of human rights, is not unrestricted in their eyes. Thus, when this is the case, and they impose constraints on freedom based on the opinions of humans, we say: “Indeed, this principle shows that limiting freedom renders the word unacceptable to all humans”. If the word freedom could be accepted (based on individual interpretations), you should grant a person the freedom to do as they please, then in that case, you would be promoting absolute freedom. However, if you limit a person’s freedom through man-made regulations while also discreetly seizing control of their wealth and abilities, then this freedom is not absolute. As a result, the basis of freedom on which one advocate human rights must be viewed from the perspective that absolute freedom does not exist. Therefore, it must be limited, which means that a person is not entirely free to behave in any location on the earth in any way they wish; rather, this freedom has boundaries that they explain and differentiate, and as a result, one discovers what is known as protocols and etiquettes. There are measures taken to deal with those who disregard the rules governing formal ceremonies and to bar anyone from entering any location while wearing any kind of clothing. Additionally, there is something that is equivalent to a lack of freedom everywhere in terms of one’s presence and speech. This is because they saw that it is not suitable to grant someone complete freedom since sometimes that freedom conflicts with what is desired and other times it conflicts with one’s relationships and other people’s rights. As a result, the notion of total freedom is negated.

When a human being wishes to grant another person rights, he will not be free of desires because the person who codifies laws, whatever they may be, will include their desires in them. [Refer to “Footnote b” at the end of this article]

Similarly, the pursuit of truth and justice can only be achieved by adhering to the final revelation, rather than relying on subjective opinions and personal desires. Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Even though there is something in the paths of analogical reasoning and reflection that will lead to knowledge, however sometimes it cannot give a detailed explanation in a dispute between the people of the earth due to the minute details and ambiguities, and at other times due to the fact the people differ when prioritising necessities. Therefore, due to this Allah [The Most High] commanded us to return to the revelation in times of dispute. Allah [The Most High] said:

Mankind was one community (i.e. upon Tawheed and Allah’s Shari’ah) and Allah sent Prophets with glad tidings and warnings, and with them, He sent the Scripture in truth to judge between people in matters wherein they differed]. [Al-Baqarah. 213] [2]

Stewart stated: “Let me begin by saying, unequivocally, that I am not an alarmist by nature. In fact, I am a confirmed optimist, especially when it comes to Israel and the Jewish people”. [End of quote]

Indeed, rejecting the final Messenger is even more detrimental than being an alarmist. We remind him that Allah said:

O people of the Scripture! Now has come to you Our Messenger (Muhammad) explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and passing over (i.e. leaving out without explaining) much. Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a light (Prophet Muhammad) and a plain Book (this Quran). Wherewith Allah guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will unto light and guides them to a Straight Way (Islamic Monotheism). [Al-Ma’idah. 15-16]

Stewart stated: “We have a mandate from the Almighty that we are an eternal nation that can never be expunged; we have gone head to head against the great empires of history and watched them fade into oblivion while we survive, against all odds. And, as far as our presence in Israel goes, despite having twice been exiled from our land, we believe that this time we are here to stay and will not be expelled again”. [End of quote]

Indeed, it is important to recognise that witnessing the downfall of great empires throughout history and surviving is not unique to any people. Many nations from the past still have their descendants present today. However, Bani Israel were among those favoured when they acted righteously, and they also experienced Allah’s severe punishment when they disobeyed their Prophets, peace be upon them. Allah said:

And We decreed for the Children of Israel in the Scripture, that indeed you would do mischief on the earth twice and you will become tyrants and extremely arrogant! [Al-Israa. Ayah 4]- Meaning, “We have declared, made a covenant with them and told them in their book that corruption will certainly occur from them on earth twice through committing sins, showing ingratitude to Allah for His Blessings, exalting themselves on earth and being arrogant therein; and that when one of these two (occasions) come to pass, Allah will give power to their enemies and take revenge on them, and this is an admonition and warning to them so that they may return to obedience and take heed”. [a]

So, when the promise came for the first of the two, We sent against you slaves of Ours given to terrible warfare. They entered the very innermost parts of your homes. And it was a promise (completely) fulfilled. [Al-Israa. Ayah 5] – Meaning, the first of the two occasions during which they become corrupt; if such corruption occurred among them, We sent on you – by way of our all-encompassing divine will and decree- recompense (punishment) at the hands of those people with courage, large numbers, and armed, so, Allah gave them victory over you. They killed you, took your children away, plundered your wealth, invaded and destroyed your homes, entered the Sacred Masjid (Baytul Maqdis), and violated it. It must happen due to a reason from themselves. The Qur’an commentators differed regarding the identity of these people who were sent to overpower them, but they agreed that they were unbelievers.

[Al-Israa. Ayah 6] – Meaning, (gave you victory) against those who overpowered you, so you expelled them from your land; increased your sustenance and number, and gave you strength over them because of your righteous deeds and submission to Allah. [c]

(And We said): ‘If you do good, you do good for your own selves, and if you do evil, then it is (to your own selves).’ Then when the later promise came to pass (We enabled your enemies) to put sorrow on your faces (by conquering and enslaving you) and to enter the Mosque (of Jerusalem), as they had entered it the first time, and to destroy everything they came upon with utter destruction. [Al-Israa. Ayah 7] [d]

“If you do good, you do good for your own selves” because the benefit will return to you, even in this world [before the hereafter] as you witnessed when he aided you against your enemies. “And if you do evil, then it is [to your ownselves]”, meaning, the harm will return upon yourselves, as Allāh showed you by empowering the enemies [against you]. [e]

“Then when the later promise came to pass”- meaning, the next time you spread corruption on earth, we make your enemies overpower you. “to put sorrow on your faces (by conquering and enslaving you)”- Meaning, given victory over you, capture you, and enter the Sacred Masjid as they entered it the first time, and what is meant by the Mosque is Baytul Maqdis. “and to destroy everything they came upon with utter destruction”- Meaning, destroy your homes, Masjids and crops. [f]

(Thereafter Allāh said): ‘Perhaps your Lord may show mercy to you (if you repent), but if you return (to your sinful ways), then We shall return (to punishment). And we have made Hell an enclosure for the disbelievers. [Al-Israa. Ayah 8] [g]

Within these verses (Al-Israa 7-8) is a warning to this Ummah (of Muhammad) against committing acts of disobedience lest what afflicted the Children of Israel afflict them as well. The Sunnah (way, rule) of Allāh is one, it does not change or become altered. Whoever looks [and reflects] upon the empowerment of the disbelievers and oppressors over the Muslims will come to know that this was due to their sins, as a punishment to them. [And also to make them realise] that if they enact and establish the Book of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Messenger, He will grant them firm authority in the land and aid them against their enemies. [h] [End of quote]

Hence, Stewart is notified that they have not been obligated anything other than to adhere to the path of the final Messenger Muhammad and heed his teachings. This obligation applies to them, as well as the rest of humanity and Jinn. However, if they choose to disregard this obligation, the Messenger’s sole responsibility is to convey the message. Moreover, this does not negate the rights they are entitled to through fair dealings, despite the fact that some of them refuse to condemn the atrocities committed by Netanyahu’s Zionist military.

Nevertheless, it is important to recognise that while Netanyahu and his Zionists gang are well known as oppressive figures in our current era, primarily due to their treatment of the Palestinians, it is also important to unequivocally condemn any Muslim, whether members of Hamas or other than them, that deliberately target non-combatants and unarmed civilians. To gain a deeper understanding of this complex issue, I suggest delving into the article written by Shaikh Abu Iyad titled: [Just Rules of Fighting in the Sharīʿah of Islām Compared to Genocidal, Ethnic-Cleansing, Tribal-Vengeance Doctrines and Excesses of Trojan-Horse Muslim Extremists:https://www.abuiyaad.com/a/nuscluvdq ]

Stewart Weiss stated: “Having said that, I fear that the road ahead is a treacherous one, and the fight for survival will test us to the limit. In fact, I believe that we have already entered a Third World War. But, like old age and credit card debt, it creeps up on you in increments, barely noticeable, until suddenly you are overwhelmed and shocked by it. You may deny it, pooh-pooh it, or close your mind to it, but face the facts: This is war. A global war that extends far beyond the Middle East, though that is its epicenter. Like most wars – World War II is a perfect example – it is fought on two fronts. The first arena of combat is the physical one, whereby nations seek to overwhelm their neighbors and swallow their land. Hitler whetted his appetite with the Sudetenland, and then went on to conquer most of Europe, even as his Japanese allies feasted on the nations of the Pacific. At the same time, an ideological battle is also being waged. The Nazis sought to impose their vision of a supremacist, all-powerful Third Reich upon the entire world, fashioning a brutal system that would create a hierarchy of rulers and subjects, comprising super-human, human, and sub-human divisions, with Germany at the top of the pyramid and Jews at the bottom. The fuhrer would displace God in order to determine what was right, what was moral, and what was justified. This helps to explain Hitler’s obsession with wiping out the Jews, for the Jews, as God’s chosen people, represent the primacy of God on Earth and thereby threatened the Nazi’s plan to create a new world order. As long as the Jews existed, that plan would be frustrated”. [End of quote]

Indeed, the struggle for survival is an inherent human drive, regardless of the challenges that may arise or the trials one faces, irrespective of Stewart’s views on the potential threat of a third world war. Even if more conflicts occur, and no matter how subtly it affects individuals, the world will not come to an end until all the major signs of the hour – mentioned by the final messenger – occur. At that time Muslims, Jews, and Christians will be present, as clearly demonstrated in various authentic narrations concerning the events of the end times, including battles, the return of Isa, and other major incidents. Thus, the endurance of the Jews until that time is not exclusive to them; many other nations, including Muslims, will also be present. A billion nuclear weapons cannot annihilate the world, nor can anyone extinguish the legacy of the Ummah of Muhammad. He, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

Allah brought together the ends of the world near one another for my sake and I have seen its eastern and western ends. The dominion of my Ummah would reach those ends which have been brought close to me and I have been granted the red and the white treasure. I begged my Lord for my Ummah that it should not be destroyed because of famine, nor be dominated by an enemy who is not amongst them to take their lives and destroy them root and branch, so my Lord said: “O Muhammad! Whenever I make a decision, there is none to change it. I grant you for your Ummah that it would not be destroyed by famine and it would not be dominated by an enemy who would not be from them and would take their lives and destroy them root and branch even if all the people from the different parts of the world join hands together (for this purpose), but it would be from amongst them -your Ummah, that some people would kill the others or imprison the others’. [3]

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, also said:

“There shall not cease to be a group from my ummah, aided, they are not harmed by those who forsake them until the hour is established”. [4]

Therefore, Stewart is informed that his forecast of a worldwide conflict where countries aim to overpower neighbouring nations and seize their territories, resembling Hitler’s conquest of Europe starting with the Sudetenland, holds no significance for the Ummah of Muhammad. On the contrary, the Ummah of Muhammad firmly believe that no matter how formidable the adversaries may be, they will never be able to subjugate the entire Ummah or seize all their territories. And regarding the ongoing ideological battle, as mentioned by Stewart, no one engages in a more intense and immoral ideological battle than Netanyahu.

Furthermore, while it is justified for Stewart to discuss the Nazis and the inhumane treatment they inflicted upon the Jews, we cannot ignore the similar mistreatment suffered by the Palestinians at the hands of the Zionists for over 70 years. They have their lands seized by settlers among whom believe themselves to be superior and entitled to Palestinian properties.

The Palestinians of Gaza – just two years ago – were subjected to starvation, deprivation of electricity and fuel, all in the name of retaliation and self-defence. Therefore, regardless of the Fuhrer’s beliefs, as stated by Stewart, the process of discerning between right and wrong, justified or unjustified, moral or immoral, bears a striking resemblance to the approach taken by Netanyahu towards the Palestinians and many of his predecessors for over seven decades. This ongoing inhumane treatment of the Palestinians is blatantly obvious, as clear as daylight, and the numerous atrocities they have faced over the last seven decades are well-known, including:

The Deir Yassin Massacre: Took place on April 9, 1948, near Jerusalem, during which between 107 to 254 Palestinians were massacred at the hands of the extremist “Stern” gang.

The Nasr al-Din Massacre: Took place in April 1948. Al-Lajjun Massacre: Took place on April 13, 1948, in a Palestinian Arab village in the Jenin District, where the Zionist Haganah gang attacked it and killed 13 people.

The Saliha Massacre: Took place in May 1948, during which 75 Palestinians were massacred.

The Abu Shusha Massacre: Took place on May 14, 1948, near the village of Deir Yassin, and claimed the lives of (50) citizens, including women, men, children, and the elderly.

The Beit Daras Massacre: Took place in northeastern Gaza on May 21, 1948.

The Tantura Massacre: Took place on May 22, 1948, in the occupied city of Haifa, and claimed the lives of about (200) Palestinians.

The Lydda Massacre: Took place on July 12, 1948, in the occupied city of Lydda, and resulted in the massacre of about (500) Palestinians, including (150) who were massacred inside the city’s Grand Mosque. The Zionists threw many of them alive into the town’s wells.

The Dawayima Massacre: Took place on October 29, 1948, when a battalion from the terrorist “Lehi” organization led by Moshe Dayan attacked the village and then began searching homes and shooting at its residents. Entire families were exterminated in the massacre, which resulted in the killing of 200 men, women, and children.

The Zionist massacres did not stop after the Nakba of 1948, but rather their frequency, intensity, and brutality increased in light of the use of more lethal and destructive weapons. Among the most prominent of these massacres was:

The Sharafat Massacre, which took place in February 1951, in which 11 Palestinians were massacred, and the rest of the village’s people were displaced.

The Bethlehem Massacre took place in January 1952, in which 10 Palestinians were massacred.

The Qibya Massacre took place on October 14, 1953, in the village of Qibya, east of Jerusalem, during which (67) Palestinians were massacred, most of whom were women and children, and during which 56 homes were destroyed.

The Qalqilya Massacre took place on October 10, 1956, when the occupation forces attacked citizens in the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank, during which about seventy citizens were massacred.

The Kafr Qasem Massacre took place on October 29, 1956, in which 49 Palestinians were massacred, including 11 children, when they were all returning home from work. The Khan Yunis Massacre took place on November 3 and 12, 1956, in which between 280 and 500 Palestinians were massacred.

In 1970, Zionist aircraft struck Bahr al-Baqar Primary School and Abu Zaabal factories, killing more than 150 Egyptian students and workers.

In 1980, the extremist Jewish organization Kach attempted to blow up Al-Aqsa Mosque, and a shipment of explosives weighing 120 kg was discovered.

The Sabra and Shatila massacre took place in September 1982. This massacre lasted three days, and its direct perpetrators were members of the Lebanese Phalange forces allied with the Zionists led by Ariel Sharon. The Ibrahimi Mosque Massacre took place on February 25, 1994, when a Zionist named “Barog Goldstein” stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron, and fired bullets and bombs at the worshipers. This massacre resulted in the massacre of 29 Palestinians. The Qana Massacre took place on April 18, 1995. [5]

And over the past two years, we have all witnessed the heinous acts carried out by Netanyahu’s military. However, this in no way means that the murders committed by Muslim individuals and groups are not condemned, rather, they are condemned. Shaikh Abu Iyaad, may Allah preserve him, stated:

Upon this, to answer the eternally unanswered question of Piers Morgan, “Do you condemn Hamas?”, we condemn everyone who opposes the Divine Legislation by killing innocent civilians, including non-combatant men, the elderly, women, children, priests, monks and the likes, no matter who they are, Muslim or non-Muslim, whether ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Boko Haram or Benjamin Mileikowsky, the IDF, Settlers and their likes. https://abuiyaad.com/a/amalekite-genocide-doctrine-gaza

Opinionated beauty standards

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

A woman is married for four (reasons); her wealth, her family status, her beauty and her religion. So you should take possession of the one with Religion, otherwise you will be a loser”. [Al-Bukhari 5090]

Imam Abdul Aziz Bin Baz, may Allah have mercy upon her, said:

Your only concern should be the righteousness of her religion. If beauty, wealth, and noble lineage accompany that, then this is goodness added to goodness. But let not beauty, wealth, or family status be your foremost concern.

Your greatest concern and objective should be the righteousness of her religion and steadfast moral character. Ask those who know her well about these matters. If she is a woman with sound religious practice, far removed from Tabarruj and the causes of temptation, and she observes her prayers at their prescribed times, then incline toward her. But if she is the opposite, leave her. What is important is that religion should be your greatest concern. [1]

Some women complain about the opinionated beauty standards that burden women- cheekbones, slim, angular faces with big features, fat-freezing cosmetic procedure etc. The women who blindly follow this path are regarded beautiful and attractive, regardless whether they are righteous or not; rather as long as they are considered more attractive based on what a group of women exploiters consider to be the beauty standard, they are given an advantage – Pretty Privilege!!! Indeed, the upright scholars have spoken about this matter and warned against it. Imam Muhammad Ibn Salih Al-Uthaymin, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Women are portrayed as if they are mere images- pictures people attach no importance to except that which is connected to the woman’s figure (outward appearance). See how they have decorated and beautified her! See how they have brought about beautifications for her and presented her in a desirable condition, in relation to hair, skin, legs, arms, face and everything else, until they make it the most important thing for the woman, like a picture made out of plastic. They neither present to her the importance of establishing worship nor bearing children. [2]

Al-Allamah Khalil Al-Harras, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated in his Sharh An-Nooniyyah:

After Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, described the beauty and perfection of the women of Paradise so that one is drawn towards them, he warned against being deceived by the evil women of this worldly life- those who are deprived of every excellent trait. They are neither perfect in their physical appearances nor do they possess good deeds.

How can one be deceived by a woman who possesses ugly manners and is untrustworthy! How can one be deceived by a woman who neither fulfills her obligations nor does she possess patience! How can one be deceived by a woman who is neither contented nor is she obedient and humble, and her deeds are ugly! Rather she is a female devil disguised in the image of a human, thus, she deceives the despicable and depraved people who desire her because they are similar to her and are ready to obey her.

As for the people of virtue, she neither wants nor desires them because there are no similarities between her and them. She is deprived of everything that directs her towards good and prevents her from evil. She neither possesses the correct way of life ordained by Allah and a sound moral intellect nor does she possess good manners and fear of Allah. She does not possess natural beauty, rather her beauty is a falsified one that emanates from cosmetics. And when she leaves that beautification and embellishment, the defects on her becomes apparent and she is deprived of everything that makes a person desirous of her. She is characterised with betrayal- neither grateful for good companionship nor does she preserve and fulfill its rights.

Her beauty is a thin shell and underneath it are defects and ugly affairs. Her beauty resembles a fake coin plated with gold or silver, which one may consider to be a real gold or silver coin; but this counterfeit cannot be circulated amongst the money changers even though many people are deceived by it. [3]

Be Warned Against Extremist Women

Imaam Adh-Dhahabee, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated that Salamah Bin Alqamah relates from Ibn Seereen, may Allah have mercy upon him, who said, “Imran Ibn Hattaan married a kharijiyyah (a female khaarijite) and said, ‘I will bring her back’ (i.e. make her leave her misguidance). Ibn Seereen said, ‘However, she converted him to her way'”. [4]

Recognising The Greater Good in One’s Wife and Understanding Her Feelings

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Most High, said:

فَإِن كَرِهۡتُمُوهُنَّ فَعَسَىٰٓ أَن تَكۡرَهُواْ شَيۡـًٔ۬ا وَيَجۡعَلَ ٱللَّهُ فِيهِ خَيۡرً۬ا ڪَثِيرً۬ا

If you dislike them (i.e. your wives due to something you see in them), it may be that you dislike a thing and Allah brings through it a great deal of good. [An-Nisaa 19]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

A person (man) may dislike a woman due to a trait of hers, while there is a great deal of goodness in keeping her and he does not know it. He may love a woman due to a trait of her traits, while in keeping her there is much evil and he does not know it. The human being is as he has been described by his Creator: “Verily, he (man) was unjust (to himself) and ignorant (of its results).” [Al-Ahzab 72]

Therefore, it is not befitting that he places his inclination, love, aversion, and hatred as a measure for that which harms or benefits him. Rather, the measure is that which Allah has selected for him of commandments and prohibitions. The most beneficial things for him — without exception — are obedience to his Lord outwardly and inwardly, and the most harmful — without exception — is disobedience to his Lord outwardly and inwardly. If he embarks upon sincere obedience and servitude to Him, all that he encounters from that which he hates is better for him. And if he withdraws from obedience and servitude to Allah, all that is in what he loves is bad for him.

Therefore, whoever has sound knowledge regarding his Lord and an understanding of His Names and Attributes knows with certainty that there are great benefits and useful things in those hated things that afflict him and trials that befall him, which he cannot enumerate through his knowledge and contemplation. Rather, the great benefits for a slave (of Allah) are greater in that which he hates than in what he loves. In general, the beneficial things for the souls are found in what they hate, just as the harmful things for the souls and the causes for their destruction are in what they love. [1]

The Importance of Knowing One’s Wife

Aa’isha narrated that Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to her: “I know when you are pleased with me or angry with me”. I said, “When do you know that?” He said, “When you are pleased with me, you say, ‘No, by the Lord of Muhammad’, but when you are angry with me, then you say, ‘No, by the Lord of Ibrahim’. Thereupon I said, ‘Yes, (certainly, you are right); but by Allah, O Allah’s Messenger, I do not leave anything else besides your name'”.

Benefits From This Hadeeth:

A man’s thorough observation regarding the state of a woman due to her action, speech, inclination or lack of inclination towards him based on indications, because the Prophet firmly determined Aa’iSha’s happiness or anger merely when she mentioned or refrain from mentioning his name; therefore, he judged the two situations based on the mention or the absence of a mention of his name as an indication of happiness or anger. It can also be definitely the case that there is something more explicit regarding this affair, but he did not say it.

And regarding the statement of Aa’Isha’s “Yes (certainly, you are right); but by Allah, O Allah’s Messenger, I do not leave anything else besides your name”. At-Teebee said, “This is a very subtle way of making an exception, because she related that when she is in a state of anger – a state in which a sane person loses his senses by choice, her affirmed love for the Messenger does not change.

Ibn Al-Muneer said, “What Aa’isha intended is that she left out the wording of the Prophet’s name but her heart’s pure love and affection towards the noble person of the Prophet does not leave her”.

And with regards to the choice Aa’Isha, may Allah be pleased with her, made to use Ibrahim’s, peace be upon him, name instead of the other Prophet’s, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, this is proof regarding her intelligence, because the Prophet is the one with the best claim to Ibrahim just as Allah stated in the Qur’an. Therefore, when she had no other way of leaving a noble name, she replaced it with the name of someone who is from the one whose name she left out, so that her heart does not exit the boundaries of that attachment.  [2]
