[1] Happy Muslims–Be happy, but do not be sinful and avoid this blatant falsehood!

[1] O People of the Book! Here are some of the noble qualities of some of your predecessors who accepted Islaam

Allaah (The Most High) said:

Not all of them are alike; a party of the people of the Scripture stand for the right, they recite the Verses of Allah during the hours of the night, prostrating themselves in prayer. They believe in Allah and the Last Day; they enjoin Al-Ma’ruf (Islamic Monotheism, and following Prophet Muhammad ) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and opposing Prophet Muhammad ; and they hasten in (all) good works; and they are among the righteous. [3:113-114]

Those Who Nickname the Salafis with the terms Madkhaliyyah, Jaamiyyah—Shaikh Rabee Responds

Question: Our Shaikh-may Allaah protect you. What do you say about the one who hurl accusations at the Salafiyyoon– in Germany and other countries—with the [term] Madkhaliyyah or Madaakhilah! And that they [i.e. the salafiyoon] divide the Ummah! And that they make a [false] claim to Salafiyyah! And that they do not know except speaking ill of [people], refutation and defamation? May Allaah bless you and may Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic] cure you.

Answer:

To proceed: Indeed, Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jamaa-ah are solely followers of Muhammad [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam]. They follow the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] in creed, methodology, politics, manners and in all affairs of life. They are followers in that [i.e. in these affairs] and they do not innovate.  They are ardent upon this and adhering to the Messenger’s warning against ahlul bidah, and the warning of the Salaf against ahlul bidah.  They are adherents of this methodology. The one who opposes them and nicknames them with the terms Jaamiyyah or Madkhaliyyah, then indeed he is misguided; rather he is one who wages war against the Sunnah and the Salafi Methodology.

Therefore, they should fear Allaah and abandon nicknaming. They should fear Allaah and speak a word of truth. [Allaah (The Most High)] said:

Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth. He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins] [33:70-71]

Do you take revenge against these Salafiyyoon and nickname them with these nicknames only because they hold onto the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam]? What is the bidah that the salafiyyoon have in order for them [i.e. the false accusers] to say Mad’khaliyyah, Jaamiyyah? What is the bidah the Salafiyyoon have?

We know that Jamaa-ah At-Taleegh, Jamaa-ah Al-Ikhwaan [Muslimeen] and the Qutubiyyeen have bidah and affairs of misguidance in the fundamentals and subsidiary issues of the religion! So we advise them and clarify the truth to them, so that the one whom  Allaah [Glorified and Exalted Be He] grants Tawfeeq, he returns to correctness and follows the path of the pious predecessors. And the one whom Allaah [The Blessed and Exalted] forsakes and does not wish good for him, then indeed he does not increase except in transgression and oppression.

[2] A Reminder from a beloved wife to her beloved husband

Allaah (The Most High) said:

And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect. [30:21]

Assalaamu alaykum warahmatullaah;

Let this be the final reminder to the one I love for the sake of Allaah (The Most High) because he constantly aids me-In’shaa’Allaah- in that which will bring about success in this life and the next.

You are that responsible father of my beloved children and what an excellent father you are Maa-Shaa-Allaah! It amazes me that you are always prepared to sacrifice your wealth, time and effort for this family. You are always spending on us within your means; but what amazes me is that you give little consideration to yourself!

Lol! However, the displeasure is clearly shown on your face whenever we attempt to be a bit spoilt. Please overlook our weaknesses because your displeasure-expressed without words- is always enough to stop us in our naughty footsteps. O Allaah! Reward my beloved husband because he always gives priority to the sound upbringing of our beloved children and my welfare.

My dear husband, I look at you sometimes and smile behind your back-thanking Allaah (The Most High) for bestowing you to me. The children cannot bear your absence beyond your working hours due to the love, compassion and friendliness you always show. O Allaah! Keep this man upon steadfastness and reward him with abundant good in this life and the next…Aameen.

My dear husband, Allaah has given us good in abundance, so let us be grateful and not forgetful. You are not wealthy, but you are generous, modest, hardworking, self-sufficient and compassionate. This is the greatest source of joy for me and I will not exchange it for any other riches In-Shaa-Allaah!  Perhaps I am always falling short, but you are never tired of giving advice with gentleness and compassion. Lol! But your command becomes very unambiguous when advice falls on deaf ears and we always-and all praise is due to Allaah-carry it out. Thereafter, you smile and find something else and direct our attention to more important things in this life. May Allaah bless you. So let me remind myself and perhaps some reminders for you as well….

It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “I was shown Hell and I have never seen anything more terrifying than it. And I saw that the majority of its people are women.” They said, “Why, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “Because of their ingratitude.” It was said, “Are they ungrateful to Allah?” He said, “They are ungrateful to their companions (husbands) and ungrateful for good treatment. If you are kind to one of them for a lifetime then she sees one (undesirable) thing in you, she will say, ‘I have never had anything good from you.’” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 1052)

O Allaah protect me and all my Muslim sisters from being ungrateful to our husbands… Aameen

The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: “The best among you is the best towards his wife, and I am the best of you to my wives.

My dear husband! Continue to be from those who are good to their wives-May Allaah bless you. However, this does not mean that you leave me to demand things that are against the sharia of Allaah in the name of kind treatment; rather continue being kind to me and restrain me from anything that will ruin my aakhirah- with gentleness, compassion and clear advice. Please overlook my shortcomings-even though you do not make that known to me- rather you always give advice from that which Allaah has granted you of knowledge and wisdom- from the Book and the Sunnah, and the understanding of the pious predecessors.

May Allaah continue to unite our hearts upon Bir and Taqwah, and love and compassion for the sake of Allaah (The Most High). And may Allaah (The Most High) grant us patience, so that we are blessed in the afterlife. Allaah (The Most High) stated:

Say (O Muhammad): “O My slaves who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), be afraid of your Lord (Allah) and keep your duty to Him. Good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world, and Allah’s earth is spacious (so if you cannot worship Allah at a place, then go to another)! Only those who are patient shall receive their rewards in full, without reckoning.” [39:10]

And Allaah (The Most High) said:

*Those who fulfill the Covenant of Allah and break not the Mithaq (bond, treaty, covenant);

*Those who join that which Allah has commanded to be joined (i.e. they are good to their relatives and do not sever the bond of kinship), fear their Lord, and dread the terrible reckoning (i.e. abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which Allah has forbidden and perform all kinds of good deeds which Allah has ordained).

*And those who remain patient, seeking their Lord’s Countenance, perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and spend out of that which We have bestowed on them, secretly and openly, and defend evil with good, for such there is a good end;

*Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), which they shall enter and (also) those who acted righteously from among their fathers, and their wives, and their offspring. And angels shall enter unto them from every gate (saying): Salamun ‘Alaikum (peace be upon you) for that you persevered in patience! Excellent indeed is the final home!”

*And those who break the Covenant of Allah, after its ratification, and sever that which Allah has commanded to be joined (i.e. they sever the bond of kinship and are not good to their relatives), and work mischief in the land, on them is the curse (i.e. they will be far away from Allah’s Mercy); And for them is the unhappy (evil) home (i.e. Hell) .   [Soorah Ar-Ra’ad: 20-25]

May Allaah grant us all success. Aameen

[A] Bounties from Allaah!

Allaah (The Most High) said:

Neither those who disbelieve among the people of the Scripture nor Al-Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, idolaters, polytheists, pagans, etc.) like that there should be sent down unto you any good from your Lord. But Allah chooses for His Mercy whom He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty.

Reminders from Imaam Sadi (rahimahullaah)

They do not want good to be sent down unto the Muslims from their Lord-be it little or plentiful-out of envy and enmity; however Allaah chooses for His Bounty and He is the Owner of Great Bounty. And from Allaah’s Bounties bestowed upon the Muslims is that He sent down the Qur’aan unto the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) in order to sanctify the Muslims, and teach them the Book (the Qur’an) and the Hikmah (i.e. authentic Sunnah, Islamic laws and Fiqh – jurisprudence), and teach them that which they did not used to know.

[2] Fit’nah: Put to trial due to their own evil deeds!

Allaah (The Most High) said:

O Messenger (Muhammad)! Let not those who hurry to fall into disbelief grieve you, of such who say: “We believe” with their mouths but their hearts have no faith.

And of the Yahood are men who listen much and eagerly to lies – listen to others who have not come to you [those of their leaders who substitute the Torah (1)]

They change the words from their places- [declaring the halaal to be haraam and the haraam to be halaal (2)]; they say, “If you are given this (ruling), take it; but if you are not given this, then beware!”

And whomsoever Allah wants to put in Al-Fitnah- [misguidance or punishment, or exposed; (3) because of his rejecting the Faith (4)] you can do nothing for him against Allah- [you cannot save him (5)]

Those are the ones [Yahood and Munaafiqoon (6)] whose hearts Allaah does not want to purify (from disbelief and hypocrisy); for them there is a disgrace in this world- [Allaah informed the Prophet of what was hidden in the hearts of the Munaafiqoon as well as the lies of the Yahood in this worldly life (6)], and for them is a great torment in the Hereafter. [5:41]

Consequences of Argumentation – Shaykh Al-Uthaymeen

Shaykh Al-Uthaymeen – Rahimahullaah – said:

There isn’t a person (on the most part) who is prone to argumentation except that he becomes deprived from the blessing of knowledge. Because in general the one who argues desires by that to only support his own statement and by way of that becomes deprived from the blessing of knowledge.
As for the one who desires the truth, then indeed the truth is easy and attainable. It doesn’t require great debates, as it is clear.
Because of this you find that those people of innovation who debate in favour of their innovations, their fields of knowledge lack blessing, having no good to it. And you’ll find them arguing and debating and then arriving at nothing. They do not end up reaching the truth.
