ISIS are called khawarij – Educating Maya Yang

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

Verily he lives long among you will see a lot of differing, so you must keep to my Sunnah and to the Sunnah of the Khulafaa ar-Rashideen [the rightly guided caliphs]. Adhere to it with your molar teeth (i.e. adhere to it firmly). And beware of newly invented matters [in the religion], for every newly invented matter [in the religion] is a bidah [innovation in the religion], and every bidah is misguidance. [1]

The Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

The Jews divided into seventy-one sects, the Christians divided into seventy-two sects and this Ummah will divide into 73 sect. All of them are in the fire except one. So he was asked, “Who are they [i.e. the saved sect] O Messenger of Allaah?” He said, “Those upon that which I and my companions are upon”. [Footnote a]

Hafs Bin Humaid, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: I said to Abdullah Ibn Al-Mubaarak, may Allah have mercy upon him, “How many sects have this Ummah spilt into?’ He said, “The foundation of the sects are four: the Shia, the Harooriyyah (i.e. khawarij), the Qadariyyah, and the Murji’ah. The Shia split into twenty-two sects, Harooriyyah split into twenty-one sects, the Qadariyyah split into sixteen sects, and the Murji’ah split into thirteen sects”. [2]

After Maya [Footnote b] realises that the term Sunni carries significant weight and that one’s affiliation with it is not taken lightly—especially when it comes to understanding deviant sects and their deviations—we will include a precise statement from Imam Al-Barbahari along with a brief commentary from Al-Allamah Salih al-Fawzan to shed more light on this topic. Additionally, we will provide insights from Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali for further clarification. Imam Barbahaaree [329AH], may Allah have mercy upon him said:

It is not permitted for a man to say, “So and so is a person of the sunnah” until he knows that he combines the characteristics of the Sunnah, so it is not said of him, “a person of the Sunnah” until he combines all the Sunnah.

Al-Allamah Salih Al-Fawzan, may Allah preserve him, commented on the above statement as follows:

Do not give recommended to a person and a praise of him, except based on knowledge, lest the people become deceived by your praise of him, while he is not what (you have stated about him).  So, when his real affair and path is clear to you, his knowledge and steadfastness, you can give him recommendation. As for giving out praise and recommendation whilst not knowing of anything about him, this is a dangerous recommendation through which the people will be deceived by this person. Had only those who give commendations to the people stopped at that (i.e. put it in its proper place), they would not give recommendation, except for one who fulfils the conditions of (receiving) recommendation because recommendation is a witness, thus, if the recommendation is not correct it will be a false witness. And regarding the statement of Imaam Al-Barbahaaree: “until he knows that he combines the characteristics of the Sunnah”. The characteristics of the Sunnah are to be in creed, knowledge and adherence to the (path) of the pious predecessors. But if there is not in him except a single characteristic of the (sunnah), he is not judged to be from Ahlus Sunnah on the basis of a single characteristic or one thing, then what about the one who does not have anything from that? [3]

Al-Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Hadi Al-Madkhali, may Allah preserve him, was asked: The questioner says: We request a comment from you on this statement: “Indeed both Sunnah and Bidah may be gathered in a man, thus, if the Sunnah is predominant in him, he is a Sunni Salafi. And if bidah is predominant in him, he is an innovator, a misguided one”. Benefit us (i.e. with a comment) and may Allah reward you.

Response: This (statement) is from the [مغالطات-i.e. those misleading statements or affairs that are brought forth for the purpose of deception or sophistry]. There is no doubt that the one in whom Bidah is predominant is an innovator in religious matters, but it is not a condition, for example, that he has thirty (matters) of bidah with him and twenty (matters) of Sunnah, because he may have one bidah with him and thus declared an innovator in religioys matters. Rather the verdict of disbelief may be passed against him. [Footnote c] Because if he adheres to all the Sunnah, but then he says, “Indeed the Qur’an is created”, do we say that the Sunnah is predominant in this (person)? The Salaf (pious predecessors) declared (people) disbelievers due this because the Qur’an is the Speech of Allah and not created. The Salaf held a consensus regarding this. If he says, “I am a Sunni and the Qur’an is created”, we say: ”You are an innovator in religion, a misguided one, rather this innovation of yours is tantamount to disbelief.  Either you recant or else you are a disbeliever.”  We clarify the truth for him and unless he recants, otherwise he is a disbeliever. He rejects the Ruyah (i.e. he rejects the fact that the believers will see Allah on the day of judgement) and says: “I am a Sunni in everything except in this, for I do not believe that Allah will be seen in the Afterlife.” This one (i.e. the person who says this) has belied the Qur’an and the Sunnah.

This principle (i.e. that a person is a Sunni Salafi or an innovator depending whether the Sunnah or Bidah is predominant in him) is false; and how many with a single bidah – among the major bidah- were declared innovators by the Salaf?! Jad Ibn Dirham had two innovations- negation of the attributes of Allah and the statement (i.e. the belief) that the Qur’an is created, whilst he used to pray, observe fasting and worshipped Allah. And how many of Ahlul bidah and the Ubbaad (those dedicated to worship) have numerous (practices) of Sunnah, but alongside this he is an innovator!

Therefore, it is obligated to the Sunni to be solely dedicated to the truth and that his religion (Creed, Methodology and acts of worship) are pure and not stained by anything from the (matters) of bidah. However, if he falls into a Bidah khafiyyah (i.e. an innovation that is obscure or hard to detect), whilst he is desirous of the truth and seeking after it, then if the people were to inform him about it he would recant. So we do not pass the judgement of Tabdee against this person. If he had passed away we ask Allaah to forgive him and we do not pass the verdict of Tabdee against him. If he is alive, we advice him, and unless he accepts (the truth), we pass the verdict of Tabdee against him. [4]

The Shaikh also stated:

All sects of Ahlul Bidah gather truth and falsehood, deny the truth that is with the other sect of Bidah and believes in that which they possess of falsehood. Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: Allah says:

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ ءَامِنُواْ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُواْ نُؤۡمِنُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡنَا وَيَكۡفُرُونَ بِمَا وَرَآءَهُ ۥ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مُصَدِّقً۬ا لِّمَا مَعَهُمۡ

And when it is said to them (the Jews), “Believe in what Allah has sent down,” they say, “We believe in what was sent down to us.” And they disbelieve in that which came after it, while it is the truth confirming what is with them]. [Al-Baqarah 91]

The Shaikh also stated: As for the one who falls into an innovation, then he is of categories. he first category: Ahlul-Bid’ah such as the Rawāfid, the Khawārij, the Jahmiyyah, the Qadariyyah, the Mu’tazilah, the Grave-worshipping Sūfīs, the Murji’ah, and whoever is connected to them [in our times] such as al-Ikhwān, at-Tablīgh and those similar to them. For these innovations the Salaf did not make it a condition that the proof be established due to the fact that the ruling upon them is [in accordance to] the innovation. So regarding the Rāfidī, it is said about him, “Innovator (mubtadi’)”. As for the Khārijī, it is said about him, “Innovator”, and so on, regardless of whether the proof is established upon him or not. [5]

This above statement by Al-Allamah Rabee shows that the kahwaarij are Mubtadi’ah, outside the Sunnah and Sunniyyah, and it is well-known that groups like ISIS and Al-Qaeda are offshoots of the Khawarij, thus, they have exited the Sunnah and Sunniyyah.

Judge based on visible evidence- Reminder to Eldad Beck

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah said:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. [An-Nisaa. Ayah 135]

Judge based on visible evidence until something definitive indicates a different conclusion

In the above article, Eldad stated: The deadly attack on December 20 at the Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg – in which five people were murdered and 235 wounded – sparked a heated public, media, and political debate surrounding the problematic and complex personality of the perpetrator, Saudi doctor Taleb Al-Abdulmohsen. A brief examination of the 50-year-old’s will, left in the car with which he carried out the horrific attack, is sufficient to discern an unstable and inconsistent person, deeply conflicted with himself and his surroundings, who goes to murder innocent people at a Christmas market and bequeaths all his possessions to the Red Cross. [end of quote]

Response: The essence of the issue concerning this individual has been examined. See details on this link: https://salafidawahmanchester.com/2024/12/25/perplexing-to-comprehend-the-psychiatrists-behaviour-particularly-given-his-anti-islam-stance/

Eldad stated: It was convenient for most politicians, journalists, and commentators to cling to the theory that Abdulmohsen was an anti-Islamic Muslim, who spread the messages of the far-right political party Alternative for Germany (AfD), Israeli personalities including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Elon Musk on his X account, to divert attention from the fact that most terrorist attacks on German and European soil in the past 20 years were carried out by Islamists in the name of radical Islam. [end of quote]

Response: Certainly, he was not merely anti-Islamic; he explicitly declared his departure from Islam. Therefore, labeling him as an anti-Islam Muslim is sheer folly, for no true Muslim, regardless of their level of understanding, would ever claim to be both Muslim and anti-Islam. Such a contradiction can only be articulated by someone considered insane in Islamic law, who would not be held accountable, or a desperate philosopher attempting to distort the truth surrounding these two realities. A Muslim can only embody their faith and stand against anything that contradicts Islam, fully aware that Islam denounces both negligence and extremism. Any belief or action that diverges from the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, as practiced by the companions of the Prophet, is marked by either negligence or extremism. Furthermore, the individuals cited by this misguided Abdulmohsen are evaluated independently of his actions. The far-right is assessed based on their words and deeds, whether commendable or not, and Elon Musk is similarly scrutinized for his statements and actions; however, this article does not aim to delve into that. As for Netanyahu, his actions and statements are well known and he is judged accordingly. Read here: https://abuiyaad.com/a/amalekite-genocide-doctrine-gaza

Furthermore, even if Eldad presents specific dates to support the statement that most terrorist attacks on German and European soil in the past 20 years were carried out by Islamists in the name of radical Islam, [Footnote a] it should not overshadow the fact that Abdulmohsen identified himself as a non-Muslim and anti-Islam. This indicates that, despite the misguided actions of some Muslims in the past, our focus should remain on Abdulmohsen as a troubled individual, regardless of his creed. Eldad might be worried about how Abdulmohsen’s actions could reflect on Netanyahu. It’s important to state that we are not suggesting Netanyahu had any role in shaping Abdulmohsen’s behaviour, as we do not have proof to back that up. However, it’s possible that Abdulmohsen admires Netanyahu’s extreme views and distorted reasoning, particularly evident in his genocidal statements. However, there’s no need to link anyone to Netanyahu to further damage his reputation; his own actions are already damning, and his culpability in genocide is as clear as daylight. Read again: https://abuiyaad.com/a/amalekite-genocide-doctrine-gaza

Eldad stated: The attack in Magdeburg allowed the establishment in Germany and Europe to use this extreme and rare case to launch an organized chorus warning of “generalizations against Muslims,” explaining that “the real problem of terrorism lies on the right side of the political map,” that “its roots should be found in the conflict between nationalist Israel and its neighbors,” and that “we must beware of Islamophobia.” [end of quote]

Response: It is certainly perplexing that we have yet to encounter anyone who identifies as an anti-Islam Muslim. Furthermore, this individual, who has chosen a profession aimed at helping the mentally ill, exhibits behaviour that seems more disturbing than that of those he aims to assist. While his case is indeed extreme and unusual, the acts of mass murder and violence he has committed are not entirely out of the ordinary in Europe and America. Although Abdul-Mohsen’s mental condition raises significant concerns, his actions, while horrific, do not surpass the levels of violence seen in America. If the statistics presented in the following article hold true, then despite the evil of Abdul-Mohsen’s deeds, they pale in comparison to the annual occurrences of similar acts in the United States. Read: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-41488081

Thus, it is irrelevant whether there was a coordinated effort to warn against generalisations about Muslims, as it is widely recognised that the overwhelming majority of Muslims reject violence and mass murder. Such actions are typically associated with the Khawarij and those misled by them, driven by unchecked anger rather than clear guidance from authoritative texts. As for the ongoing conflict between Zionist forces and Islamic groups that disregard the counsel of respected scholars on how to engage with Zionists, this is a significant issue, as highlighted by a Saudi prince. Listen here: https://youtu.be/Z3-cWyFcK5w

Islamophobia: Just as it is imperitive to remain vigilant against anti-Semitism when it is unmistakably recognised and not misrepresented for political motives by the Zionists, the far-right factions within Netanyahu’s administration and pro-Zionist lobbies in Europe and America, which may seek to suppress genuine discourse; similarly, it is also imperative to remain vigilant against Islamophobia when it is distinctly identified and not distorted by those entities that exploit it to justify their political motives, such as ISIS and their ilk. [Footnote b]

Eldad stated: “Islamophobe” was the term that was almost automatically attached to the perpetrator, although he was described here and there as an “Islam critic” or “anti-Islamic” – descriptions that seemed to better match the profile of the man, which was constructed based on the content of his X account, the website he managed, and the few rare interviews he gave in recent years. [end of quote]

Response: Eldad needs to be reminded that the labels assigned to this individual, whether “Islamic critic,” “anti-Islam,” or “Islamophobe,” are secondary. What truly matters is that he identifies himself as an apostate. It is surprising that Eldad focuses on labeling him, which reflects a characteristic of the individual, while overlooking the core issue: the individual’s declaration of disbelief. This declaration is the root cause of other issues, such as criticising Islam, which cannot be approached by falsehood from any direction.

Allah said:

Verily, those who disbelieved in the Reminder (i.e. the Quran) when it came to them (shall receive the punishment). And verily, it is an honourable respected Book (because it is Allah’s Speech, and He has protected it from corruption, etc.). Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it (it is) sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise (Allah). [Fussilat 41-42]

And they bring no (argument or objection by way of a) similitude (in order to criticise this Qur’ān and oppose your message) except that We bring you the truth and the better explanation thereof (through a similitude that is superior to theirs, provides detail and invalidates their objection). [1]

Allah [The Exalted] said: [ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ وَلِتَسْتَبِينَ سَبِيلُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ – And thus do We explain the signs (to you O Muḥammad) in detail, and so that the way of the criminals may become evident (to you)]. [Al-An’aam. 55] [2]

Imam Ibn Kathir [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated regarding this Ayah:

Allah [The Exalted] stated that just as He explained what was previously explained of the arguments and evidence on the path of guidance and sound judgement, and censured argumentation and stubbornness; likewise He explain the signs (proofs, evidences, lessons), which those being addressed are in need of; [ولتستبين سبيل المجرمين – and so that the way of the criminals may become evident (to you)], Meaning, so that the path of the criminals – those who oppose the Messengers – may become evident”. [3]

Imam At-Tabari [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated regarding the statement of Allah:

[وكذلك نفصل الآيات – And thus do We explain the signs (to you O Muḥammad) in detail]- Meaning, O Muhammad! Just as We have detailed for you in this Surah – from its beginning and introduction up to this point – our proofs and evidences against the idolaters and worshippers of images, and distinguished and clarified it for you; likewise, We explain to you our signs and evidences for every truth denied by the people of falsehood, the sects and other than them, until its truth is distinguished from its falsehood, and its right is distinguished from its wrong. [4]

Eldad stated: If Abdulmohsen had any phobia, imaginary and uncontrollable or real, it was not related to Islam – which he knew very well – but to Germany, to which he immigrated in 2006 as a medical trainee. The accusations he directed at the authorities in Germany regarding the persecution of “Saudi refugees,” whom Abdulmohsen allegedly sought to help, now appear to be an imaginary persecution complex that the perpetrator of the Magdeburg attack developed after creating himself various conflicts and entanglements with the German authorities. [end of quote]

Response: Eldad is once again shifting focus away from the true cause of the disease, rather than just the resulting phobia. Firstly, anyone who accepts Islam and later renounces it is either ignorant, misled, or a hypocrite who feigned belief to mislead the faithful, similar to the hypocrites of the past. Ultimately, guidance rests with Allah, as even some Jewish and Christian scholars who recognised Muhammad’s Prophethood chose to reject him, as Allah stated: [ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يَعْرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِّنْهُمْ لَيَكْتُمُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ – Those to whom We gave the Scripture (Jews and Christians) recognise him (Muhammad) or the Ka’bah at Makkah) as they recongise their sons. But verily, a party of them conceal the truth while they know it – [i.e. the qualities of Muhammad which are written in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)]. [Al-Baqarah 146]

Secondly, the takfiris express their disappointment when they differ with Muslim leaders. Then, in their haste and ignorance of the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, they take matters into their own hands, disregarding the fact that authorities are often managing situations in ways that prevent further harm and fulfill the obligations of Muslims during times of weakness. Their actions stem from a rush to judgment, misguidance, and confusion about Islam, despite their claims of supporting it. Similarly, AbdulMohsen, who professes to assist those fleeing Muslim countries and has even migrated to Germany for this purpose, shows a sense of loyalty to that cause. However, it may be that his frustration with the Germans’ perceived inaction or support for those he views as enemies may have driven him to take harmful actions against the very country that welcomed him. There is nothing fictional about the takfiris harming the people they claim to want to help restore the glory of Islam, just as it is not far-fetched for someone to harm those who aided him in declaring his apostasy because he feels they are insufficiently advocating for his cause.

Eldad stated: Those incidents seem now to be the real motivation behind his deep urge for revenge against Germans and Germany than his accusations against Germany and former chancellor, Angela Merkel, of “Islamizing Europe.” If he truly feared the Islamization of Europe under Germany’s leadership, Abdulmohsen could have carried out an attack on a Muslim institution or alternatively at one of the public events surrounding the recent release of Merkel’s memoirs. [end of quote]

Response: Eldad’s insights into Abdul-Mohsen’s real motives will soon be illuminated by a later section of the article, which hints that some have speculated he might be a spy due to his behaviour. For the moment, however, let’s focus on the earlier quote concerning Abdul-Mohsen’s complaints—particularly his belief that German authorities are focusing on the Saudis he wishes to help, rather than his worries about German politicians “Islamizing Europe.” It’s clear that we have touched on this topic to some extent before. Just as takfiris are misled by their distorted views of justice and retribution, despite claiming to act in the interest of those they believe are wronged, it is reasonable to consider that Abdul-Mohsen might feel unsupported by those who initially welcomed him and allowed him to express his dissent. Therefore, if he perceives that others he is trying to help, under the guise of freedom from oppression, are being mistreated by the very authorities that offered him refuge, his frustration could mirror that of the takfiris. They often lash out at everyone, including innocent bystanders who are unaware of political decisions and bilateral relations between nations. Similarly, it is plausible that Abdul-Mohsen has directed his discontent toward the citizens of a secular government that he believes is inadequately responsive to his aspirations in his newly adopted stance of apostasy and so called anti-Islam activism.

Furthermore, there is no need to engage with Eldad’s assertion that if Abdul-Muhsen harbored genuine fears regarding the Islamization of Europe under Germany’s guidance, he might have executed an attack on a Muslim institution or during one of the public gatherings linked to the recent unveiling of Merkel’s memoirs. This is predicated on the principle that judgments are formed based on observable evidence unless compelling proof suggests otherwise. What is evident is that Abdul-Muhsen has articulated numerous grievances against the German government, and his actions reflect a desire for retribution against its citizens, akin to how takfiris inflict harm upon Muslim individuals due to their animosity towards Muslim authorities.

Eldad stated: The number of Saudi asylum-seekers in Germany is very low, despite the fact that the annual report of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees in Germany notes various groups that could have sought asylum in Germany due to their persecution or discrimination by the Saudi authorities, despite the internal reforms process initiated by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

These groups include women, members of religious minorities, the LGBTQ+, community and opposition activists. Did the perpetrator from Magdeburg actually assist his compatriots who sought asylum in Germany? Various testimonies that have emerged on social media since the attack portray Abdulmohsen as a person who was actually in conflict with ex-Muslims, individuals, or organizations representing them. Among other things, he claimed that the German authorities infiltrated organizations of ex-Muslims to spy on them for the benefit of Saudi Arabia. [end of quote]

Response: If Saudi asylum seekers in Germany are few, we anticipate a similar trend in other Western nations. This is primarily because no rational person would abandon the land of Tawhid. Additionally, claims of persecution must be substantiated with concrete evidence, along with the activities of those seeking asylum before their departure. Simply asserting persecution is insufficient. Regarding reforms, we pray that Allah grants all Muslim leaders the wisdom to act in the best interests of Muslims, guided by the Qur’an and the Sunnah as interpreted and practiced by the companions of the Prophet.

Concerning the assertion that Abdul-Mohsen had conflicts with ex-Muslims, whether individuals or organizations, this does not serve as proof that he is anything other than what he claims. People with shared objectives can still disagree on methods. For example, the Khawarij may agree on many issues but still engage in conflict and violence against each other. Similarly, politicians often have differing opinions and arguments, so it is not unusual for individuals to disagree even when they have common goals or collaborate in wrongdoing. As for spying, every country has its own intelligence operations. Regardless of the freedoms afforded to individuals and groups, governments maintain their own means of regulating those freedoms, as the actions of citizens, both domestically and internationally, can impact diplomatic relations and national interests, regardless of whether we agree or disagree with government restrictions and activities.

Eldad stated: However, the confrontations that Abdulmohsen had with ex-Muslims, mainly on social media, raised suspicions among those who were threatened by him that the Saudi doctor was actually an undercover agent of the Saudi authorities, spying on critics of the Saudi regime. The Saudi authorities themselves say that they warned the Germans about Abdulmohsen well before he committed the deadly attack. [end of quote]

Response: In Usul Al-Fiqh, there is a guiding principle that states: “Certainty does not cease to remain due to doubt.”  Consequently, any concerns regarding Abdul-Muhsen’s actions—whether he is a spy or not—are merely speculative until substantiated by solid evidence. It is important to note that he has openly declared himself an apostate, expressing discontent with those who initially supported him in achieving his objectives, ultimately causing harm to their citizens. While he claims to care about the safety of their nation, his actions mirror those of the khawarij, who profess concern for Muslims yet resort to violence against them, driven by grievances against Muslim governments.

Spying: Just as the Zionist regime engages in spying and share intelligence when they see the need to do so, other nations engage in comparable activities. Thus, if the Saudi authorities have indeed reported on Abdul-Muhsen, there is nothing particularly concealed in that action.

Eldad stated: However, as complex as the personality of Abdulmohsen was, the public focus is turning now to the main scandal behind the attack: the German internal security authorities have failed, once again, in preventing terrible bloodshed despite warning signals they received or should have detected. This security inefficiency, and not the assumed political affiliation of the perpetrator for political needs, should indeed be at the center of the discussion, even if Germany is only two months away from a decisive general election.

There is the failure of police security at the site of the attack: after the deadly truck attack at the Christmas market in Berlin eight years ago, carried out by an Islamist and resulting in the murder of 12 men and women, it was decided to enhance security measures around Christmas markets throughout Germany. [end of quote]

Response: We have no comments to offer, as we do not represent any government. Similarly, the remaining observations made by Eldad throughout the article centered on comparable terror incidents in various European nations, particularly the security oversights that may have contributed to these events, Abdul-Muhsen’s backing of the AfD, and the potential implications for this political party. Our goal was to prevent Eldad from misrepresenting Abdul-Muhsen’s self-portrayal and comment on the unfounded suggestions that are based on assumptions or conjectures.

Regarding Eldad’s assertion that the majority of terrorist acts in Europe are perpetrated by Muslims, we want to emphasise that terrorism is a heinous crime, irrespective of the identity of the perpetrators, whether they are individuals, groups, organizations, or political figures. In this context, we also remind Eldad of the ongoing situation in Gaza and the historical context of mass murder associated with Zionist actions.

The History of Zionist Aggression

The Deir Yassin Massacre: Took place on April 9, 1948, near Jerusalem, during which between 107 to 254 Palestinians were massacred at the hands of the extremist “Stern” gang.

The Nasr al-Din Massacre: Took place in April 1948. Al-Lajjun Massacre: Took place on April 13, 1948, in a Palestinian Arab village in the Jenin District, where the Zionist Haganah gang attacked it and killed 13 people.

The Saliha Massacre: Took place in May 1948, during which 75 Palestinians were massacred.

The Abu Shusha Massacre: Took place on May 14, 1948, near the village of Deir Yassin, and claimed the lives of (50) citizens, including women, men, children, and the elderly.

The Beit Daras Massacre: Took place in northeastern Gaza on May 21, 1948.

The Tantura Massacre: Took place on May 22, 1948, in the occupied city of Haifa, and claimed the lives of about (200) Palestinians.

The Lydda Massacre: Took place on July 12, 1948, in the occupied city of Lydda, and resulted in the massacre of about (500) Palestinians, including (150) who were massacred inside the city’s Grand Mosque. The Zionists threw many of them alive into the town’s wells.

The Dawayima Massacre: Took place on October 29, 1948, when a battalion from the terrorist “Lehi” organization led by Moshe Dayan attacked the village and then began searching homes and shooting at its residents. Entire families were exterminated in the massacre, which resulted in the killing of 200 men, women, and children.

The Zionist massacres did not stop after the Nakba of 1948, but rather their frequency, intensity, and brutality increased in light of the use of more lethal and destructive weapons. Among the most prominent of these massacres were: The Sharafat Massacre, which took place in February 1951, in which 11 Palestinians were massacred, and the rest of the village’s people were displaced. The Bethlehem Massacre took place in January 1952, in which 10 Palestinians were massacred. The Qibya Massacre took place on October 14, 1953, in the village of Qibya, east of Jerusalem, during which (67) Palestinians were massacred, most of whom were women and children, and during which 56 homes were destroyed. The Qalqilya Massacre took place on October 10, 1956, when the occupation forces attacked citizens in the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank, during which about seventy citizens were massacred.

The Kafr Qasem Massacre took place on October 29, 1956, in which 49 Palestinians were massacred, including 11 children, when they were all returning home from work. The Khan Yunis Massacre took place on November 3 and 12, 1956, in which between 280 and 500 Palestinians were massacred.

In 1970, Zionist aircraft struck Bahr al-Baqar Primary School and Abu Zaabal factories, killing more than 150 Egyptian students and workers. In 1980, the extremist Jewish organization Kach attempted to blow up Al-Aqsa Mosque, and a shipment of explosives weighing 120 kg was discovered. The Sabra and Shatila massacre took place in September 1982. This massacre lasted three days, and its direct perpetrators were members of the Lebanese Phalange forces allied with the Zionists led by Ariel Sharon. The Ibrahimi Mosque Massacre took place on February 25, 1994, when a Zionist named “Barog Goldstein” stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron, and fired bullets and bombs at the worshipers. This massacre resulted in the massacre of 29 Palestinians. The Qana Massacre took place on April 18, 1995. [compiled from various old Arab Newspapers]

It is important to reiterate that this does not imply any lack of condemnation for the murders carried out by Muslim individuals and groups; on the contrary, such acts are unequivocally condemned. Shaikh Abu Iyaad [may Allah preserve him] stated: Upon this, to answer the eternally unanswered question of Piers Morgan, “Do you condemn Hamas?”, we condemn everyone who opposes the Divine Legislation by killing innocent civilians, including non-combatant men, the elderly, women, children, priests, monks and the likes, no matter who they are, Muslim or non-Muslim, whether ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Boko Haram or Benjamin Mileikowsky, the IDF, Settlers and their likes. https://abuiyaad.com/a/amalekite-genocide-doctrine-gaza

[3] Tafseer Ibn Kathir

[4] Tafseer at-Tabari

They said, “We have killed the Messiah, son of Maryam, Allah’s Messenger” Part 1

In The Name of Allah, The Most` Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but the resemblance of ‘Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)]: But Allah raised him [‘Iesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise. [An-Nisa 157-158]

Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah].

Imam Ibn kathir, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: (Meaning):

We (i.e. the plotters) have killed this one (i.e. Jesus) who claimed this position (or rank) for himself”. This statement was made from the angle of false accusation and mockery, similar to the statement of the polytheists: [يا أيها الذي نزل عليه الذكر إنك لمجنون – O you to whom the Reminder has been revealed, indeed you are insane]. [Al-Hijr 6]

“The Rabis of the Jews (at that time) when Allah sent Isa (Jesus), the son of Mary, with clear signs and guidance, they envied him for the prophethood and the remarkable miracles bestowed upon him. These miracles included healing the blind and the leprous, as well as raising the dead by Allah’s permission. He fashioned a bird from clay, breathed into it, and it became a living bird that flew by Allah’s will, among other miracles that Allah honored him with and manifested through his hands. Despite this, they belied and opposed him, and endeavored to harm him in every possible way unil the Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him, could not reside among them in the town; instead, he and his mother, peace be upon them, frequently traveled. Yet, this was not enough to satisfy them, as they sought the king of Damascus at that time—a man who was a polytheist and a worshiper of celestial bodies, known as the Greeks. They reported to him that there was a man in Jerusalem who was misleading the people and corrupting the king’s subjects. This infuriated the king, prompting him to write to his deputy in Jerusalem, instructing him to take precautions against the mentioned individual, to crucify him, and to place a crown of thorns upon his head, in order to stop harm on the people”…until the point at which Imam Ibn Kathir stated:

“Indeed, Allah has clarified and elucidated the matter in the magnificent Quran, which He revealed to His noble Messenger, supported by miracles, clear signs, and evident proofs. He, (Allah) – [The Most truthful in speech, the Lord of the entire existence, the one who knows the secrets and innermost thoughts, knows the hidden in the heavens and the earth, knows all that has occurred, all that is to occur (and occurring), and all that did not occur and how it would have occurred if it was to occur] – stated: [وما قتلوه وما صلبوه ولكن شبه لهم – And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but the resemblance of ‘Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man)]. They saw someone resembling him and mistakenly believed it to be him, thus Allah stated: [وإن الذين اختلفوا فيه لفي شك منه ما لهم به من علم إلا اتباع الظن – and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture]. [وما قتلوه يقينا بل رفعه الله إليه – For surely; they killed him not [i.e. ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)]: But Allah raised him [‘Iesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens)]. Meaning, those among the Jews who claimed to have killed him and those among the ignorant Christians who believed the same; all of them are in doubt, confusion, misguidance, and error. Thus, Allah stated: [وما قتلوه يقينا – For surely; they killed him not] – Meaning, they were not certain it was him, but rather were in doubt and delusion. [1]

[وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَكِنْ شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ – And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but the resemblance of ‘Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man)].

Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

This statement was directed towards the Jews (i.e. those among them who plotted against Isa), and dispraised them for their actions. The Christians were not mentioned because it was those (particular) Jews who were responsible for the crucifixion of the one who was likened to Isa. None of the Christians were present with them; in fact, the disciples were fearful and absent, thus no one among them witnessed the crucifixion. Instead, it was those Jews who informed the people that they have crucified the Messiah. The accounts of His crucifixion that reached both Christians and others originated from those Jews, who were agents of oppression. They were not numerous enough to prevent their agreement on lying”. [2]

Imam Ibn Hazm, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

The Christians themselves acknowledged that they did not endevour to get hold of his body during the day due to fear of the public; instead, they took him at night after the people had dispersed following the Passover. Furthermore, it is stated that he remained on the cross for only six hours during the day and was taken down shortly thereafter. The crucifixion allegedly occurred in a location distant from the city, in a garden owned by a potter, which is not a recognised site for crucifixions. After all of this, it would be that they established a context to say that his companions would have run off with his body (in secret) and that Maryam Magdalene, a woman among the common people, did not approach the site of the crucifixion but stood at a distance, observing everything as described in their Gospel. This undermines the notion that the crucifixion was reported (and witnessed) by all people (or numerous people) because it appears to be a concealed and colluded event.

At that time, according to the Gospel, the disciples were fearful for their own safety, fled and remained hidden. And that Peter entered the house of Caiaphas the priest during daylight, so he said to him, “Are you one of Jesus’s associates?” However, he denied this and fled the premises; then how about the claim that it was reported by everyone! This is the meaning of the verse [ولكن شبه لهم – but the resemblance of ‘Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man)], meaning, those wicked individuals who orchestrated this falsehood conspired together and misled their followers into believing that they had crucified and killed him, despite knowing that this was a lie.

It was never the case that everyone reported the [alleged killing of Isa, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], but even if it were true that they did, then how could it not be possible regarding the fact that every miracle does alter natural phenomena and changes the way senses normally perceive things? If it were indeed the case that everyone saw (or reported) it, then Allah’s statement regarding this event is that He likened another person to Isa, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and blocked their perceptions in the manner they perceived it, (so they thought that it was him who was crucified whereas, it was someone else). This event would be comparable to the migration of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, at night, during which a hundred men from Quraysh, sought after him, yet Allah concealed their vision from him, preventing them from seeing him. However, as for what is not established based on Allah’s statement that He made something appear in a way that is not what is seen or perceived in reality, it would not be permissible to regard it as such, as it leads to an impossibility. Thus, the changing of nature and natural things from what they are in reality cannot be considered possible unless there is definitive proof from Allah, which must be accepted. [Footnote a] But the reality of something can be misperceived by one or two individuals, as well as a result of insanity or foolishness. However, this cannot happen to an entire group (i.e. the populace).

And regarding Allah’s statement: [وما قتلوه وما صلبوه ولكن شبه لهم – And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but the resemblance of ‘Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man)]. This is regarding those who say that Isa, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was crucified due to blindly following their predecessors among the Christians and Jews. These people were (deceived) based on doubtful (ambiguous) report, as they entered into something false that is made to resemble the truth. The evil elders at that time entered them into this falsehood that was made to resemble the truth. The claimants (those Jews who disbelieved in Isa) told them that they killed and crucified him, while they knew that it was not the case; instead, they secretly conspired to kill and crucify him, preventing public attendance, and subsequently claimed to have killed and buried him to mislead the general populace, who were led to believe the false narrative that was made to resemble the truth. [3]

————————————————————–

Footnote a: The miracles of the Prophets and righteous people who adhered/ adhere to the divine revelation without deviation in creed or worship must not be mistaken for the deceptions of magicians, the people of innovation in religious matters and the devils. Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

The Khawariq [Phenomena attributed to something outside the norm] by way of which the devils misguide the children of Adam – such as when the devils take the image of a person who is absent or has passed away and what is similar to this – has misguided many of those who ascribe themselves to the Muslims or to the people of the Scripture. They establish this on two affairs: Firstly, that whoever from whom these khawaariq occurs is a Wali, and according to the term of the Christians he is a Qadees A’dheem – a great saint! Secondly, that the one from whom these khawaariq occurs is therefore infallible, everything he narrates is truth and everything he commands is justice”.

However, it can definitely be the case that neither did a phenomena outside the norm – whether unrelated or related to sound knowledge and piety – occur from such a person nor a phenomena outside the normal related to deeds of the devils; rather the person merely carried out the tricks of the liars and wicked sinners. The tricks of the liars and wicked sinners are numerous indeed, so one thinks that they are amazing events outside the norm, however neither is that the case nor is it something similar to the tricks of the monks. Some people have written books regarding the tricks of the monks, such as the trick reported about one of them changing water into oil- that when the oil is in the interior of the lighthouse, the water gradually reduces and thus the oil floats [or pops up] on the water, so those who are present think that the water has changed into oil. The likes of this affair are numerous from the tricks of those Christians, because all that those Christians possess – those who altered the religion of the Messiah [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] – of activities that are attributed to something out of the norm are either from the devils or they are tricks, and there’s nothing in them related to the miracles of the righteous people.

Likewise, the deviated people – those who seek to alter the religion of Muhammad – adopt a religion that is not legislated by Allah and His Messenger, then they make it a path of worship and give it precedence over the path that is legislated by Allah and His Messenger. For example, they give precedence to listening to sounds from the tambourines and the shrill flutes over listening to the book of Allah, so one of them goes into a state of ecstasy and a satanic trance through which he becomes muddled up with shaytan until he speaks in a language he does not know. Then when he returns to his senses – just as when a jinn speaks through the tongue of the one who is possessed and after informing the people of that which is in his heart and soul, which is from the shaytan, and the shaytan leaves him -, he cannot repeat what he said at first.

The heretics alter the religion of the Messengers – either the religion of the Messiah or seek to alter the religion of Muhammad, and amongst the likes of such people are the proponents of hearsay, misguidance, the disbelievers, the polytheists, apostates and other than them, such as the likes of Musaylimah the liar, Al-Aswad Al-Unzee, Al-Haarith Ad-Dimashqee, Baabaa Roomee and other than them amongst those who engaged in activities that are considered to be outside the norm [i.e. so called miracles] but [in reality] are related to the deeds of the devils.

As for the tricksters, they are numerous and they are not Awliyaa of Allah. Their so called amazing activities that are outside the norm- if not related to the satanic deeds of the soothsayers and the magicians – a just tricks. They deliberately lie and deceive unlike those connected to the devils, because amongst them is he who deceives, so one thinks that what he does is from the miracles of the righteous people, just as amongst them is one who knows that what he does is from the devils, but he does so in order to achieve his goals.

The intent behind this discussion is that many of the activities that are considered to be outside of the norm [i.e. so called miracles] are either satanic deeds or tricks, so one thinks that they are the true miracles of the righteous people, for indeed that which whose cause is based on Shirk and wicked deeds can only be from the devils, such as when a person associates partners with Allah by invoking the stars, or invokes a person- whether such a person is dead or absent, or he makes an oath through unknown words and statements whose meanings are not known, or he knows that they are names of devils, or seeks aid through lewd conduct and oppression, then such deeds – considered to be outside of the norm that emanates from this – are from the devils.

The righteous people have miracles such as the miracles of the pious people of this Ummah [may Allah have mercy upon them], the miracles of the disciples of the Messiah [may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon the Messiah, and may Allah have mercy upon the disciples] and other than them amongst those who were upon the correct and unaltered religion of the Messiah. However, the occurrence of miracles at the hands of the righteous people does not necessitate that they are infallible like the Prophets [peace and blessings of Allah be upon them]; rather it maybe that a righteous man- a Wali – has miracles, but despite this he mixes up by error and makes a mistake in that which he thinks or what he is made to hear or see, or what he sees, or what he understands from the revealed Scripture. And because of this, the statements of those other than the Prophets [peace and blessings of Allah be upon them] can either be accepted or rejected [i.e. based on evidence], but as for the Prophets [peace and blessings of Allah be upon them], it is obligated on a person to affirm truthfully everything they have related regarding the affairs of the unseen and obey them in everything they command. And due to this, Allaah [The Exalted] obligated on a person to believe in everything the Prophets [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon them] brought and did not obligate on a person to believe in everything that comes from others.

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

Say (O Muslims), “We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma’il (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Ya’qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the twelve sons of Ya’qub (Jacob)], and that which has been given to Musa (Moses) and ‘Iesa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam).” [Surah Al-Baqarah. Aayah 136]

Allah [The Exalted] said:

It is not Al-Birr (piety, righteousness, and each and every act of obedience to Allah, etc.) that you turn your faces towards east and (or) west (in prayers); but Al-Birr is (the quality of) the one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, the Prophets. [Al-Baqarah. 177]

And because of this the Muslims are all in agreement that the one who disbelieved in a single Prophet whose Prophethood is well known, then he is a disbeliever- an apostate. There is no distinction between one Prophet from the other- by believing in some and disbelieving in others. Allah said:

Verily, those who disbelieve in Allah and His Messengers and wish to make distinction between Allah and His Messengers (by believing in Allah and disbelieving in His Messengers) saying, “We believe in some but reject others,” and wish to adopt a way in between. They are in truth disbelievers. And We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating torment. [Surah An-Nisaa. Aayaat 150-151] [4]

[2] The virtue of saving a life – [Reminder to those denying Zionist War Crimes]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Exalted, said:

مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا

If anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land – it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. [Al-Ma’idah. 32]

Imam As-Sadi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

If a person is bold enough to kill someone who does not deserve to be killed, this implies that he does make a distinction between the one he killed and other than him; rather he would commit this act whenever his evil calls him to that. Therefore, his bold attitude that led him to kill is as if he has killed all humankind. On the other hand, if a person saves a life and does not kill – whilst his soul calls him to do so – due to fear of Allah, this is as if he has saved the lives of all humankind because the fear of Allah he possesses stops him killing one who does not deserve to be killed. [An Excerpt from Tafsir As-Sadi]

In the above article from the Jerusalem Post, the author/s convey their strong disagreement with what they perceive as an exaggerated death toll of Palestinians and raise concerns about the transparency of Gaza’s health authorities in differentiating between combatants and non-combatants. Firstly, nevertheless, even if the statistics provided by various international organizations and Gaza officials contain mistakes, it does not lessen the tragedy of a single innocent life lost. Moreover, it does not change the fact that for more than 70 years, Palestinians have endured violence and oppression at the hands of Zionists, culminating in recent experiences of displacement, starvation, and death. Therefore, while it is crucial to report accurate information—especially in an age rife with misinformation, ideological conflicts, and propaganda—the primary concern for anyone with a sense of justice should be the urgent need to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.

Various organisations have recorded observations as follows:

Third, it is universally acknowledged that the actions taken by Hamas against unarmed civilians and non-combatants on October 7 are indefensible and are condemned unequivocally. “Upon this, to answer the eternally unanswered question of Piers Morgan, “Do you condemn Hamas?”, we condemn everyone who opposes the Divine Legislation by killing innocent civilians, including non-combatant men, the elderly, women, children, priests, monks and the likes, no matter who they are, Muslim or non-Muslim, whether ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Boko Haram or Benjamin Mileikowsky, the IDF, Settlers and their likes. Our condemnation is on the basis that such actions are unjust and oppose Divine Legislation and not because of the race or ethnicity or religion of the perpetrators, and thus we are able to maintain moral consistency and integrity. This is unlike Western politicians who are able to swiftly condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and support Ukraine (the invaded and occupied in this case) with money and weapons for resistance, but unwilling to condemn the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Gazans, while supporting the Mileikowsky regime with bombs, missiles and military hardware to facilitate the execution of that genocide and ethnic cleansing. https://abuiyaad.com/a/amalekite-genocide-doctrine-gaza

Hamas must be condemned permanently for what they did, however, none can justify what Netanyahu’s army is doing under the guise of self-defense and retaliation. The reality of the situation is clear: the actions of the Zionist army under Netanyahu’s leadership amount to war crimes, and this is evident to all. Furthermore, the rhetoric employed by certain Zionist leaders, including Netanyahu himself, is telling and cannot be overlooked.

Brief Reminder to Ohad Merlin- [The Mighty Declaration “Allahu Akbar” is free from the Hoothies]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Exalted, says:

وَقُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٌ فِى ٱلْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ وَلِىٌّ مِّنَ ٱلذُّلِّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًۢا

And say: “All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has not begotten a son (nor an offspring), and Who has no partner in (His) Dominion, nor He is low to have a Wali (helper, protector or supporter). And magnify Him with all the magnificence, [Allahu-Akbar (Allah is the Most Great)].” [Al-Israa 111]

[وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيراً – And magnify Him with all the magnificence, [Allahu-Akbar (Allah is the Most Great)]- Meaning: Proclaim His greatness and magnificence through His great and mighty attributes, praising Him with His perfect Names, glorifying Him through His perfect and pure actions (free from all imperfections), and exalting and venerating Him by worshipping Him alone without ascribing any partner to him, and devoting all the religion sincerely to Him. [1]

Imam Muhammad Ibn Salih Al-Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

The meaning is that Allah is greater than all things in His Essence, Names, Attributes, and all that this statement encompasses. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says:

وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦ وَٱلْأَرْضُ جَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ مَطْوِيَّٰتٌۢ بِيَمِينِهِۦ

They made not a just estimate of Allah such as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. [Az-Zumar. 67]

Allah says:

And (remember) the Day when We shall roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books, as We began the first creation, We shall repeat it, (it is) a promise binding upon Us. Truly, We shall do it. [Al-Anbiya 104] –

The one whose greatness is as such is greater than everything. [2]

In the above article, Ohad Merlin has pointed out certain aspects concerning the Hoothies, but since individuals like him do not adhere to the true Islamic Monotheism taught by the final Messenger, they are unlikely to tackle the most crucial issues surrounding the Hoothies beyond their hollow slogans. However, this does not imply that Zionists will evade criticism, as both groups are guilty of transgression. The mighty declaration “Allahu Akbar” stands in stark contrast to the actions and beliefs espoused by both the Houthis and the Zionists. The Houthis, characterised by their devotion to garve worship and disdain for the Prophet’s companions, embody a transgressive narrative marked by violence and bloodshed. Similarly, the Zionists, who reject the teachings of the final Prophet, are equally culpable, their actions stained by the atrocities of genocide. [Footnote a]

The Hoothies spend their days and nights in futile cursing, and shouting “Allahu Akbar,” while contradicting the very essence of this mighty declaration by turning to the worship of others besides Allah. Their journey strays far from true Islam, veering instead into grave worship and harboring animosity towards the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. They align themselves as pawns and partners with the Rafidah of Iran.[Footnote b]

As for anti-Semitism, it has already been discussed, emphasising its unequivocal rejection within Islam. https://abuiyaad.com/sn/muslims-antisemitism

However, it’s essential to ensure that this rejection does not serve as a pretext to suppress candid and open dialogue, nor to hinder the presentation of concrete evidence regarding the atrocities committed by Zionists. The declaration of Allahu Akbar stands untainted by the influences of the Houthis, as it remains free from the taint of anti-Semitism and Zionism alike. Both groups, driven by an insatiable thirst for power, have engaged in acts of aggression. For over seventy years, Zionists have relentlessly pursued dominance, inflicting suffering, displacement, and humiliation upon the Palestinian people. Similarly, the Houthis have perpetrated violence against the Sunni community in Dammaj and have been implicated in various war crimes. The Houthis manipulate the verses of the Qur’an, while Zionists reference outdated scriptures to justify their acts of aggression. Read:https://abuiyaad.com/a/amalekite-genocide-doctrine-gaza

Commending acts of violence by some Jews, Rafidah, Muslims, and Christians

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Specific past events involving some Jews, Rafidah, Muslims, and Christians aiming to radicalise youth

Allah [The Exalted] says:

وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ أَزۡوَٲجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعۡيُنٍ۬ وَٱجۡعَلۡنَا لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

And those who say: “Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqun (the pious people). [Surah al-Furqan. Ayah 74]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: They ask Allah to grant them the comfort of the eye by making their wives and offspring obedient to Allah, grant them happiness in their hearts due to being followed by the righteous in obedience and servitude to Allah. [1]

Allah, The Exalted, says:

And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in faith, We will join their offspring with them, and We will not decrease the (reward) for their deeds in anything. Every person is held in pledge (only) for that which he (or she) has earned. [2]

Rational individuals would aspire for what is mentioned in the verses above; however, there are those among the Jews, Muslims and Christians who cultivate a mindset steeped in tyranny and brutality.

First, some Zionists composed a song as “The Friendship Song,” and disseminated by a certain Zionist online news platform before it was subsequently taken down. Below is a passage from this.

“Here the IDF is crossing the line; to annihilate the swastika bearers; in another year there will be nothing there; and we will return safely to our home within a year; we will annihilate them all, and then return to ploughing our fields”. [end of quote]

Imam As-Sadi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: It is the good and evil outcomes about which they were the cause of its occurrence during their lifetime and after their death, and those deeds that emanated from their statements, deeds, and circumstances. [3]

“Jesus lived and died as a Jew”

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] said:

فلذلك فادع واستقم كما أمرت ولا تتبع أهواءهم وقل آمنت بما أنزل الله من كتاب وأمرت لأعدل بينكم الله ربنا وربكم لنا أعمالنا ولكم أعمالكم لا حجة بيننا وبينكم الله يجمع بيننا وإليه المصير

So unto this (religion of Islam, alone and this Qur’an) then invite (people) (O Muhammad ), and Istaqim [(i.e. stand firm and straight on Islamic Monotheism by performing all that is ordained by Allah (good deeds, etc.), and by abstaining from all that is forbidden by Allah (sins and evil deeds, etc.)], as you are commanded, and follow not their desires but say: “I believe in whatsoever Allah has sent down of the Book [all the holy Books, this Qur’an and the Books of the old from the Tawrat (Torah), or the Injeel (Gospel) or the Pages of Ibrahim (Abraham)] and I am commanded to do justice among you, Allah is our Lord and your Lord. For us our deeds and for you your deeds. There is no dispute between us and you. Allah will assemble us (all), and to Him is the final return. [Ash-Shuraa. 15]

[وَأُمِرۡتُ لِأَعۡدِلَ بَيۡنَكُمُ‌ۖ – and I am commanded to do justice among you], Meaning, when passing judgement regarding that which you have differed between yourselves. Therefore, your enmity and hatred does not prevent me from judging with justice between you. And part of justice is that when judging between people who make different statements – amongst the people of the Scripture and others – one accepts what they possess of truth and reject what they possess of falsehood.

[ٱللَّهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمۡ‌ۖ لَنَآ أَعۡمَـٰلُنَا وَلَكُمۡ أَعۡمَـٰلُڪُمۡ‌ۖ لَا حُجَّةَ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَكُمُ‌ۖ ٱللَّهُ يَجۡمَعُ بَيۡنَنَا‌ۖ وَإِلَيۡهِ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ – Allah is our Lord and your Lord. For us our deeds and for you your deeds. There is no dispute between us and you. Allah will assemble us (all), and to Him is the final return].

[لَا حُجَّةَ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَكُمُ‌ۖ – There is no dispute between us and you] – Meaning, there is no dispute between us and you [i.e. after the realities have been manifested, and after the clear distinction between truth and falsehood, and after the clear distinction between guidance and misguidance, there is no room for debate, because the goal behind debate is to distinguish between right and wrong, so that the one to be guided is guided and the proofs established against the misguided one. [ٱللَّهُ يَجۡمَعُ بَيۡنَنَا‌ۖ وَإِلَيۡهِ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ – Allah will assemble us (all), and to Him is the final return] [An Excerpt from Tafsir As-Sadi]

In the above article, Mr. Amichai Chikli expresses a number of concerns, one of which is that two weeks ago, the pope participated in an event depicting noble Prophet Isa (Jesus – peace be upon him) as a Palestinian Arab. While some of his other complaints, like the assertion that genocide is not occurring in Gaza, is absolutely baseless, we do concur with Mr. Chikli on the point that portraying noble Prophet Isa, peace be upon him, as a Palestinian is baseless. If the Pope’s goal was to portray Isa, peace be upon him, as a Palestinian, we agree with Chikli that this is baseless. However, when Mr Chikli asserts that Jesus, peace be upon him, lived and died as a Jew, there’s a deeper layer to explore in this assertion.

First: It is true that noble Prophet Isa (Jesus), peace be upon him, was of Jewish descent, tracing his lineage back to Prophet Yaqub, peace be upon him. This fact is well-documented, and he was not a Palestinian Arab.

Ibn Al-Athir, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Imran Ibn Mathan, who is the grandfather of Jesus, peace be upon him, and the father of Mary, was a descendant of Sulayman, son of Dawud, peace be upon them. The family of Mathan held prominent positions as leaders and scholars among the Children of Israel. [1]

Imam Ibn Kathir, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated:

“There is no disagreement that she [meaning Maryam, peace be upon her] is from the lineage of Dawud, peace be upon him, and her father, Imran, was the one who led the prayers of the Children of Israel during his time.” [2]

Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated:

“There is no doubt that the people of Musa, peace be upon him, were the Children of Israel, and the Torah was revealed in their language. Likewise, the Children of Israel are the people of Christ, peace be upon him, and he spoke in their tongue. Neither of the two Messengers addressed anyone in any language other than Hebrew; neither spoke in Latin, Syriac, Greek, nor Coptic.” [3]

It is well known among the Christians that Christ spoke exclusively in Hebrew, similar to other prophets of the Israelites. Furthermore, it is noted that He was circumcised on the eighth day, in accordance with the customs of the Israelites, and that He prayed facing their designated direction, rather than towards the east, nor did he instruct others to pray in that direction. [4]

Secondly: If it is said that noble Prophet Isa, peace be upon him, was a Jew because he followed the Torah, We would like to inform the claimants that he arrived as a messenger, affirming the teachings of the Torah and receiving the Injeel along with additional directives to follow. Despite this, many Jews of that era did not believe in him, dismissed his message, and even attempted to end his life, but Allah ensured his protection. Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

When Allah, The Exalted, sent Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,, they disbelieved in him, thus their disbelief and misguidance occurred in two ways- substitution of the religion of the first Messenger (i.e. the Messiah) and belied the second Messenger (i.e. Muhammad), just as the Jews substituted the rulings of the Torah before the Messiah was sent and then belied him. The Christians’ denial of Muhammad’s Messengership is a well-known belief of theirs to every Muslim, which is similar to the Jews’ disbelief in the Messiah. The Christians emphasise the disbelief of the Jews greater than what the Jews deserve, because the Jews claimed that the Messiah was a magician and a liar; rather they said that he is an illegitimate child, as Allah informed us about them: [وَقَوۡلِهِمۡ عَلَىٰ مَرۡيَمَ بُہۡتَـٰنًا عَظِيمً۬ا – And their speech against Maryam (Mary)- a grave false charge (that she has committed illegal sexual intercourse]. [An-Nisaa. 156]; but the Christians claimed that the Messiah is Allah, therefore the trial between them and the Jews regarding the Messiah involved a lot of contradictions, misguidance at similar levels and confrontation, and this is why both nations rebuked one another with something more than what each of them deserved, just as Allah said:

The Jews said that the Christians follow nothing; and the Christians said that the Jews follow nothing; though they both recite the Scripture. Like unto their word, said (the pagans) who know not. Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they have been differing. [Al-Baqarah. 113]

Muhammad Bin Abee Muhammad the protege of Zaid Bin Thabit reported from Ikrimah or Saeed Bin Jubayr, who reported from Ibn Abbaas that when the Christian delegation of Najraan came to Allaah’s Messenger, the Rabbis came and argued with them in the presence of the Messenger; so Rabee Bin Hurmilah said, “You are upon nothing” and thus he disbelieved in Isa and all the Injeel. Then a man from the people of Najran said to the Jews, “You are upon nothing”, and thus he willfully denied Musa’s, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, Prophethood and disbelieved in the Torah, thus, Allah revealed: [وَقَالَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ لَيۡسَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ عَلَىٰ شَىۡءٍ۬ وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ لَيۡسَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ عَلَىٰ شَىۡءٍ۬ وَهُمۡ يَتۡلُونَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ‌ۗ -The Jews said that the Christians follow nothing; and the Christians said that the Jews follow nothing; though they both recite the Scripture. [Al-Baqarah. 113]

So each of them recited the affirmation of what they reject in their book- meaning, the Jews disbelieved in Isa whilst they had the Torah in which Allah established the evidence against them through Musa that they should believe in Isa and the Injeel, and Isa confirmed Musa’s Messengership and what he came with. So, each one disbelieved in what was in the possession of the other. [Ibn Abee Hatim. 1/339]

[وَقَالَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ لَيۡسَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ عَلَىٰ شَىۡءٍ۬ – The Jews said that the Christians follow nothing]: Qatadah said regarding this verse, “Certainly, the early Christians were upon something, but they innovated and split”. [وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ لَيۡسَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ عَلَىٰ شَىۡءٍ۬ – and the Christians said that the Jews follow nothing]: Qatadah said regarding this verse: “Certainly, the early Jews were upon something, but they innovated and split”. The Jews belied the religion of the Christians and said that the Christians were upon nothing; and the Christians denied everything through which the Jews were distinguished from them, even the laws of the Torah which the Messiah did not abrogate; rather he commanded them to act upon it. As for the Jews, they denied many of things through which others were distinguished from them, until they denied the truth brought by Isa.

So, even though the Christians – due to that which they innovated of exaggeration and misguidance – went into extremes in excommunicating the Jews and showed them enmity beyond what is obligated, however there is no doubt that the Jews disbelieved when they belied the Messiah, just as Allah [The Exalted] said to the Messiah [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]: [إِنِّى مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَىَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ڪَفَرُواْ وَجَاعِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوكَ فَوۡقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ – I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that ‘Isa (Jesus) is Allah’s son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad, ‘Isa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Tawrat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Qur’an] till the Day of Resurrection. [Aal Imran. 55]

Allah, The Exalted, said:

Isa the son of Maryam said to Al-Hawariun (the disciples): “Who are my helpers (in the Cause) of Allah?” Al-Hawarieen (the disciples) said: “We are Allah’s helpers” (i.e. we will strive in His Cause!). Then a group of the Children of Israel believed and a group disbelieved. So We gave power to those who believed against their enemies, and they became the uppermost. [As-Saff. 14]

The disbelief of the Christians – due to their denial of Muhammad’s Messengership and – is greater than the disbelief of the Jews due to their denial of the Messiah’s Messengership, because indeed the Messiah only abrogated a little from the Torah and all the laws and acts of worship ordained for him could be traced back to the Torah; however the majority of the beliefs and practices of the Christians were innovated after the departure of the Messiah. That which is found in the Jews’ denial of the Messiah by opposing Allah’s Shariah is not the same as the Christians’ denial of Muhammad, who brought an independent book from Allah, because nothing in the laws of the Qur’an was ordained based on the law of another Messenger. Allah [The Exalted] said: [أَوَلَمۡ يَكۡفِهِمۡ أَنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡڪِتَـٰبَ يُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ‌ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٲلِكَ لَرَحۡمَةً۬ وَذِڪۡرَىٰ لِقَوۡمٍ۬ يُؤۡمِنُونَ – Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book (the Qur’an) which is recited to them? Verily, herein is mercy and a reminder (or an admonition) for a people who believe]. [Al-Ankabut. 51]

The Qur’an is an independent book like the Torah of Musa, even though the Qur’an is greater than it. And this is why the Christian scholars made a connection between Musa and Muhammad, just as when An-Najaashee [may Allaah have mercy upon him]- the Ethiopian king of the Christians- heard the Qur’an, he said, “Indeed, this and what Musa brought came from the same source”. Also, when Waqarah bin Nawfil, may Allah have mercy upon him, – who was one of Christian Arab scholars- heard the statement of the Prophet, he said, “Indeed, the Naamoos [i.e. Jibreel] who came to you was sent to Musa. I wish that I were young till when your people expel you”. Allaah’s Messenger asked, “Will these people drive me out?” Waraqah said, “Yes, because nobody brought the like of what you have brought, but was treated with hostility. If I were to remain alive till your day (when you start calling to Islam), then I would support you strongly”. [Bukhari]

And this is why Allah mentioned the Torah and the Qur’an together in His statement:

But when the truth (i.e. Muhammad with his Message) has come to them from Us, they say: “Why is he not given the like of what was given to Musa (Moses)? Did they not disbelieve in that which was given to Musa (Moses) of old? They say: “Two kinds of magic [the Tawrat (Torah) and the Qur’an] each helping the other!” And they say: “Verily! In both we are disbelievers.” Say (to them, O Muhammad): “Then bring a Book from Allah, which is a better guide than these two [the Taurat (Torah) and the Qur’an], that I may follow it, if you are truthful.” [Al-Qasas. 48-49]

Allah did not revealed books that were a better guide than the Tawraat and the Qur’an. Then Allah said:

But if they answer you not (i.e. do not believe in your doctrine of Islamic Monotheism, nor follow you), then know that they only follow their own lusts. And who is more astray than one who follows his own lusts, without guidance from Allah? Verily! Allah guides not the people who are Zalimun (wrong-doers, disobedient to Allah, and polytheists). [Al-Qasas. 50] [5]

Potential double-standards

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Exalted, said:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. [An-Nisaa. 135]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Allah, Glorified be He and free is He from all imperfections, commanded His servants to stand out firmly for justice on behalf of everyone – be it an enemy or an ally, and the matter that is most worthy of being established with justice are the statements and methodology related to the commands of Allah as well as everything that Allah has (revealed in the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah). Therefore, to establish these affairs based on desires and disobedience is contrary to Allah’s command and a negation (i.e. either intentionally or unintentionally) of that which Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was sent with. [1]

In the aforementioned article from the Jerusalem Post, Michael Starr reported on remarks attributed to an Anti-Zionist professor, who is said to have praised the attacks by Hamas on October 7. It is noteworthy that individuals who adopt a balanced and equitable perspective on this issue are exceedingly rare. Many either rationalise the actions of Hamas against civilians and non-combatants or, conversely, remain silent regarding the disproportionate retaliation executed by Netanyahu’s Zionist forces. Others may manipulate the narrative, attempting to obscure the fact that this conflict, despite the indefensible nature of Hamas’s unlawful killings, has persisted for over 70 years, marked by relentless Zionist aggression.

Furthermore, the question of whether one condemns Hamas has been reiterated by numerous Zionists and journalists, to which principled individuals have responded with clarity, as evidenced in the reply:

“Do you condemn Hamas?”, “we condemn everyone who opposes the Divine Legislation by killing innocent civilians, including non-combatant men, the elderly, women, children, priests, monks and the likes, no matter who they are, Muslim or non-Muslim, whether ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Boko Haram or Benjamin Mileikowsky, the IDF, Settlers and their likes. Our condemnation is on the basis that such actions are unjust and oppose Divine Legislation and not because of the race or ethnicity or religion of the perpetrators, and thus we are able to maintain moral consistency and integrity. This is unlike Western politicians who are able to swiftly condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and support Ukraine (the invaded and occupied in this case) with money and weapons for resistance, but unwilling to condemn the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Gazans, while supporting the Mileikowsky regime with bombs, missiles and military hardware to facilitate the excecution of that genocide and ethnic cleansing”. [2]

It is imperative to consider that should this Anti-Zionist professor have indeed lauded the actions of Hamas, no rational individual would find merit in his assertions, provided that such statements were made explicitly and not distorted by sensationalist narratives. The abhorrent nature of taking innocent lives has already been sufficiently addressed. Furthermore, some Zionist leaders, including Netanyahu, have also made profoundly reckless remarks, thus, they must be condemned openly. Unlawful killing is to be openly condemned, irrespective of the faith or political position of its perpetrators, be they Jewish, Christian, or Muslim. Perhaps, one of the most compelling admonitions on this subject comes from Prince Turki Al-Faisal, may Allah protect him. Listen:

Reflections from some statements of Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi Al Mad’khali [32 of 80]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Excerpt From a Lesson of Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Mad’khali – may Allah preserve him:

Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali, may Allah preserve him, was asked: Some accuse the Salafi Dawah in our time of being harsh, and that it is incumbent upon the callers to be gentle with the people of Bidah. Is this correct, and what should be the response to them whilst bearing in mind that the time at present is different from the previous one and men in this time are different from previous men? May Allah reward you with good.

Response: This behaviour -attacking the Salafis of harshness – is not new, but rather it is an old affair. From the time of (Imam) Ahmad ibn Hanbal, before and after him to this day, the people of falsehood cannot confront the people of truth except through misrepresentation (distortion). There are many misrepresentations (distortions), and not only (the false accusation of) harshness. The misrepresentations are many, and their accusation of harshness is nothing but one of many thoughts. Surely, they will accuse them of being Khawaarij (1), Mujassimah, and Mushabbihah. (2) Every (deviant) group accuses them (Salafis) of something by way of which the deviant group’s corrupt creed can be disapproved.

The Jahmiyyah (2.1) call them Mushabbihah and Mujassimah because they affirm Allah’s Attributes that are in His Book (i.e. The Qur’an) and the Sunnah of His Prophet [may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] and they affirm them in the manner that is befitting for Allah [The Blessed and Most High]. The Khawaarij and Mutazilah (3) accuse them of being Murji’ah (4), and the Rafidah (5) accuse them of being Nawasib (6) because they do not exaggerate in the manner they exaggerate the status of the Prophet’s family and so on. Meaning, my beloved brother, that they accuse them of harshness, (that they are the government) stooges, and spies, and that they are scholars whose knowledge is restricted to rulings on menstruation and postpartum, and other evil accusations that are presented by the callers to evil, falsehood and misguidance. So, there is nothing else other than that Salafis carry on explaining their call to the path of Allah with clear-sightedness. At the same time, they must have lofty manners such as patience, forbearance, wisdom, and other good and noble qualities that are compatible with this great Dawah. Alongside this, they train themselves to exercise patience while encountering what is said about them, and let them take as their role models the Prophets, those who have preceded them (in Islam), and the Imams of knowledge and guidance.

The Qur’an mentioned to us regarding the enemies of the Prophets that they accused them of lying, sorcery, soothsaying, insanity, and they accused them of many things. Therefore, it is incumbent upon the one who calls to Allah’s path- the one who is sincere to Allah [The Mighty and Majestic] – that he takes as his role model these Prophets and whoever follows their path among the Imams of Islam. When it is the case that despite their lofty statuses they were not spared from these accusations and verbal abuse, then how can we, the weak and poor (in knowledge and faith), be spared?! “Reward (for a deed is given) according to the level of exertion”, “The people put to trial the most were the Prophets, then the next best, then the next best”. Allah says:

And if Allāh had so willed, He could have punished (and destroyed) them (without you). But (He commanded you to fight against them) in order to test some of you with others]. [7] However, He wants some people to be a test for others (based on His Perfect Knowledge, Wisdom, and Justice), so whoever succeeds in this test and trial, Allah will raise his rank and honor him in this world and the Hereafter. [8] Indeed, many people may lose courage, lose their strength, and lose heart – either snuggle, [ فيخلد إلى الأرض – and then cling to the earth (i.e. preoccupied and diverted by the things of the worldly life)] or deviate as happens to many people. These people lose courage in the face of this affliction.

Therefore, we ask Allah [The Blessed and Most High] to keep us and you away from the causes of losing courage and the causes of defeat. By Allah, it is a battle between truth and falsehood that is more severe than military battles. The psychological war being waged in this era against Salafi callers (to Islam)is unparalleled. Because the media outlets have multiplied, and their arena has expanded in the east and west of the earth, and the presence of the devils among humankind in this era, I don’t think one can find their equal in plotting to wage war against the Salafi methodology and its adherents. I don’t think anything similar to it has preceded centuries ago – as it has been stated -because at present there is art in plotting, scheming, lies, rumours, and what is said by what is referred to as the malicious media.

Sa’eed Hawaa, one of the distinguished personalities of the “Muslim Brotherhood (Sect)” [9]- one of the senior (figureheads), who wrote many books that served this corrupt methodology, and they used to hold him in high regard until he reached a great status among them; then a disagreement arose between them… [what comes after statement is missing from the audio]

Then the Qutbists [10] came after them, and it is said that if these mentioned orientations (or groups) gathered with the Muslim Brotherhood (Sect), they would not achieve what the Qutbists have achieved in attacking Ahlus Sunnah with regards to misrepresenting (or distorting the true methodology of Ahlus Sunnah), but one must exercise patience. [Allah says]: [إِنَّما يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسابٍ – Only those who are patient shall receive their rewards in full, without reckoning]. [Surah Az-Zumar. Ayah 10]

We ask Allah [The Blessed and Most High] to guide them or stop their enmity, and that Allah Exalt His statement, and support His religion. Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of supplications.

The reader of the questions said: May Allah reward you with good. O Shaikh! It is also stated in the question with another expression (as follows): Is the Mubtadi [Footnote a] in our era treated as the Mubtadi in the earlier era (because) there is no doubt that the era of Imam Ahmad was different from this present era of ours?

Response: The religion ordained by Allah does not change and varies based on people changing and adopting different (ways, orientations, views, etc). The religion ordained by Allah (remains as) the religion ordained by Allah, and Allah’s call (remains as) Allah’s call. The dealings during the era of the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], in the era of Imaam Ahmad, Shaikhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, and Shaikhul Islam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhaab, and thereafter, all emanate from Allah’s Book (The Qur’an) and the Sunnah of Allah’s Messenger. Their methodology is one, but there is a need for someone to apply this methodology and know how to deal with Ahlul Bidah in the light of the Qur’an and the Sunnah.

Ahlul Bidah must be warned against, their faults (attributed to the religion) exposed, and their misguidance clarified. This is one of the most obligated obligations and prescribed duties. What they say that the situation is different and that times are different is that do not want you to speak about Ahlul Bidah because these (deviated) parties (groups) are submissive to innovated, misguided leaderships (or leaders), so when you speak about their misguided leaderships (or leaders)- criticising them, they want you to remain silent. Therefore, do not be led astray by these tactics. They say (i.e. claim) that Ahmed was (such and such), Ibn Taymiyyah was (such and such)- distort their speech and objectives. All of this is to silence Ahlus Sunnah and address them with a speech that will make them dumbfounded to make them keep quiet about their leaders, and indeed, they have made every effort to silence Ahlus Sunnah. But all that Ahlus Sunnah has to do is roll up their sleeves and strive to raise the word of Allah, spread the Sunnah and manifest it, and refute Bidah with everything they can do in every country. It is necessary to clarify these affairs for the people, such as differentiating between truth and falsehood, guidance and misguidance, and Sunnah and Bidah, which the people of Bidah and the proponents of abominable partisanship do not want- those who hide behind the term Salafiyyah through plotting and stratagem.

Indeed, they seek to distort Salafiyyah with great force so that they can crush it. That is why you see these people pursuing the Salafi call and its youth everywhere to crush it and establish on its ruins their innovated, corrupt methodologies. This is something tangible. In any case, it is necessary to speak about Ahlul Bidah, warning against them is necessary, and it is Jihad. They (i.e. the scholars) said in the time of Imaam Ahmed, “Jihad against Ahlul Bidah” or they said, “Defending the Sunnah is better than striking with swords (in Jihad)”. Ibn Taymiyyah – during his era – rolled up his sleeves and exerted himself in a manner that surpassed many of the Imams of Islam before him because he encountered many Bidah, so he confronted them with Allah’s Book and the Sunnah of Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], refuted them and restrained their proponents together with his forbearance, knowledge, and wisdom. From those affairs related to the clarification that is based on wisdom and the rights of knowledge is the distinction between truth and falsehood, guidance and misguidance, Sunnah and Bidah. Allah says: [وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُونَهُ – (And remember) when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) to make it (the news of the coming of Prophet Muhammad and the religious knowledge) known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it]. [Surah Al-Imran. Ayah 187]

I swear by Allah, the Prophets strove and stood up to remove the people out of darkness (and entered them) into light, and scholars are heirs of Prophets (in knowledge, religion, guidance, etc). Therefore, it is necessary to strive and roll up the sleeves to rescue the people from the darkness (and enter them into) light (i.e. by the permission of Allah). I say to these Masaakeen [i.e. these people who are very needy in their understanding and stances] that I swear by Allah that Ahlus Sunnah are the most sincere advisers and the most eager regarding what will benefit the people in their religion and their worldly affairs. I swear by Allah that whoever wants to silence Ahlus Sunnah is one who harms, betrays, and deceives the Ummah. He is the one who does not care whether the people are entered into the depths of the fire, or whether they are saved or not. As for Ahlus Sunnah, I swear by Allah that they only want good for the people, and they only want this Ummah to follow the path of their Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] and his straight path to enter Paradise or whoever Allah wills to enter into Paradise. When Ahlus Sunnah strives and stands up for (the truth), it is not for anything, but to guide these people and present what will benefit them in their religion and worldly affairs, and by Allah those who defend Ahlul Bidah are enemies of the people. They are the ones who harm them and prevent them from the truth that can reach them through the callers (to Islam) among Ahlus Sunnah.

So, how does our time differ from the time of Imaam Ahmed?! In the time of Ahmed, it was permissible to speak about Ahlul Bidah and warn against them, but now it is not permissible?! Clarify what you want! What do you want from this statement? Do you want us not to clarify the truth for the people, and that we do not warn them against misguidance, and Bidah, and that we not teach them the correct beliefs and correct approaches? What do you want? Clarify for us. There is deception and generality (that needs explanation) in this speech, may Allah bless you. This is why, as I emphasised to you, they do not want – at all -speech directed at the figureheads of Bidah and misguidance. Hence, they initiated the methodology of Muwaazanaat [Footnote b] after they lost hope that Ahlus Sunnah would not remain silent. They initiated the methodology of Muwaazanaat to praise their leaders (of Bidah and misguidance), and thereafter speak about their mistakes. Despite being (rightfully) disgraced, they are unwilling and do not the mistakes of their leaders to be mentioned, but if you must speak, then speak based on counterbalancing (i.e. Muwaazanaat). They institute in the religion ordained by Allah that which Allah has not allowed, and forbid what Allah has established about propagating Allah’s Message, the advice to be given to Muslims, and to warn them against what would harm them in their religion and worldly affairs. They forbid these affairs, thus they commit a greater crime against Islam than those whom they call Tawaagheet (false gods) and fight them to gain access to the seats of (political) leadership. [4] Who are the Mur’jiah? This innovation occurred just prior to the end of the first century hijrah, and there is some difference as to who the originator was, with the names presented such as Dharr bin Abdullaah al-Hamdaanee, Qays al-Maasir and Hammaad bin Abi Sulaymaan – they all lived in the same era and in the same locality, al-Kufah in Iraq, so it is certain that the idea origination in a certain location. This irjaa’ was that of the Jurists (Fuquhaa) and which manifested in the Hanafis. Al-Jahm bin Safwaan (see the section on the Jahmiyyah below) also propounded irjaa’ and his was an extreme form that was passed on through the factions of the Mutakallimoon. irjaa’ is to expel actions from the reality of faith (Eemaan) and to restrict faith to being only what is in the heart, or what is upon the tongue, or only in the heart and tongue. And thus, all the legislated actions, be the obligatory or recommended, are considered external to the essence and reality of Eemaan (faith).

[5] Who are the Raafidah? They are extreme Shi’ites who are commonly known as the Twelvers (Ithnaa Asharah). A Yemeni Jew, by the name of Abdullaah bin Saba’ was the founder of this group, and he appeared in the time of ‘Alee (radiallaahu anhu). He instigated a revolution against the Caliph Uthmaan (radiallaahu anhu) and mustered other Muslims together for that purpose, claiming that Alee had more right to be the Caliph. He, in common with the Khawaarij, raised the banner of “social justice” for that purpose. He eventually deified Alee, declaring him to be Allaah. Alee ordered him and followers to be burned to death, but Abdullaah bin Saba’ escaped to a place called al-Madaa’in.

The Raafidah Shi’ah proclaim love for Alee and the Ahl ul-Bayt (family of the Prophet). Their main doctrine is that the Caliphate belonged to Alee’ after the Prophet and that the Imaamate is the right of the Ahl ul-Bayt (offspring of Alee’). They declare most of the Companions to be disbeleivers except for a handful, and they have specific enmity towards Abu Bakr and Umar (radiallaahu anhumaa). They claim infallibility (al-ismah) for their Imaams, and give them divine attributes such as knowing the unseen. They make the issue of Imaamah (leadership) to be from the greatest of the pillars of the religion. They claim the Qur’an is incomplete and have their own Qur’aan, and they curse and revile the Companions and the wives of the Prophet (alayhis salaam), this being worship for them. They also make deception (taqiyah) to be a pillar of their religion. As they evolved they acquired other innovations, such as those of the Mu’tazilah and those of the Mushabbihah, Mujassimah. They also plunged in their morals and are the most lying and deceiving of people. The Rafidah Shi’ah are also very adept at spreading their poison.

[9] Muslim Brotherhood: The so-called “Muslim Brotherhood” (al-Ikhwan al-Muslimeen) is an organization that was set up in Egypt in 1928 and modeled upon a prior organization set up by the suspect figure Jamal ul-Din al-Afghani. Its founder, Hasan al-Banna was an Ash’ari and Hasawi Sufi. Its two most influential figureheads are Hasan al-Banna and Sayyid Qutb and they each laid down the foundations for the two major strains of Ikhwani thought and methodology. Hasan al-Banna brought the alleged “golden principle” of accommodating all of the deviant sects in order to amass as large a number as possible (to be used to help achieve the political goals and aspirations of the leaders of this group). This included making inroads, allegiances and friendships with the Iranian Rafidah. Sayyid Qutb (website) brought the elements of Takfir (of all contemporary Muslim societies) and the necessity of revolution (against them) through which rulers are targeted and replaced. Both these methodologies work hand in hand and are two sides of the same coin. As a result, the Muslim Brotherhood has been a useful tool for creating chaos and corruption both in religious and worldly affairs and served as a useful proxy to help achieve geo-political agendas. http://www.ikhwanis.com/index.cfm

Attributing Disorder and Turmoil to Salafiyyah – A Brief Rebuttal to Ephrem Kossaify

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, “Verily, a slave (of Allah) may utter a word which pleases Allah without giving it much importance, and because of that Allah will raise him to degrees (of reward): a slave (of Allah) may utter a word (carelessly) which displeases Allah without thinking of its gravity and because of that he will be thrown into the Hell-Fire.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari 6478]

This hadith serves as a powerful reminder of the dangers associated with our speech and the repercussions of talking without knowledge or reverence for Allah. Ephrem Kossaify displayed a troubling and hazardous lack of understanding regarding Salafiyyah while discussing issues of white supremacy, racism, and the murder of George Floyd in the following manner:

“It could be that those Arabs who say white nationalism is America’s greatest peril are in fact exposing their own anxieties about ethnicity, sectarianism and violent extremism. “Islamic extremism, be it in its Salafist or Muslim Brotherhood versions, uses force to change the world view, starting in their own country, and expanding to include infidels of other nations. Look what just happened in France,” El-Hady said, referring to Samuel Paty, a teacher who was beheaded near his school on Oct. 6 for showing cartoons of Prophet Muhammad in class. The perpetrator, an 18-year-old ethnic Chechen named Abdullakh Anzorov, is alleged to have had ties to Islamic extremist groups abroad. “These terrorist organizations that have plagued the Arab world are much more dangerous than white nationalism,” said El-Hady]. We begin by reminding this audacious slanderer of Salafiyyah about the seriousness of making uninformed judgments on religious issues. Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Since the true followers of the Prophets and the adherents of the Prophetic Sunnah are those who possess knowledge and justice, their discourse towards unbelievers and proponents of religious innovations must be based on knowledge and justice rather than conjecture and what the soul desires. And because of this, the Prophet [peace be upon him and blessings of Allah be upon him] said: “The judges are three: one will go to Paradise and two to Hell. A man who knows the truth and judges with it will enter paradise; a man who knows the truth but judges with the opposite of it will enter the fire, and a man who judges for the people based on ignorance will enter the fire”. [Abu Dawud 3573]

And if it is the case that the person who judges between people over matters of wealth, blood (such as murder cases, physical assault, etc.), and honour will burn in hell if he is not a just scholar, then what about the person who renders judgements on creeds, religions, the fundamentals of belief, divine knowledge, and the broad fundamental principles relating to many subject subjects without knowledge or fairness, as is the case with those who advocate for religious innovations and desires – those who adhere to ambiguous, dubious topics, disregard the unambiguous texts that the Prophets [peace and blessings of Allah be upon them] transmitted, cling to issues that are vaguely related through analogy and opinion, and then present issues whose differences cannot be equated or reconciled. [Al-Jawaabus Saheeh 1/26-30]

Furthermore, it is unnecessary to engage in discussions surrounding white supremacy, racism, and terrorism, as any reasonable individual recognizes the profound immorality inherent in these ideologies. Ephrem’s perilous ignorance and misguided assertions led him to draw unfounded parallels between Salafiyyah and the methods employed by terrorists. However, this slander is far from novel; it represents a familiar strategy employed by many secularists, Zionists, demagogues, journalists, rabble-rousers and their cohorts, aimed at undermining the legitimacy of Salafiyyah. Thus, it is imperative that we illuminate the misconceptions held by this charlatan and others who seek to obscure the true essence of Salafiyyah. Saudi Salafi Scholar, Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali, may Allah preserve him, stated:

The creed and methodologies of the kharijites somewhat influenced the political groups that emerged during this era. And as a result, they do not place any value on matters other than politics, do not care about improving the Ummah’s situation through (sound) creed and knowledge, and do not consider matters pertaining to the Ummah’s return to the Book, the Sunnah, and the piety and steadfastness that the pious predecessors were upon in all aspects of the Religion. Rather, they make the Ummah more corrupt in creed and conduct. Thus, you see them waging war against the scholars (i.e. the upright scholars) and the people who (truly) follow the Qur’an and the Sunnah while pledging loyalty to those who promote misguidance and innovation in religion. They set up false goals and catchphrases for proponents of misguidance and innovations in religion, and among them are Sayyid Qutb and his followers, who adopted the creed, methodology, and political views of the Khawarij, the Rawafid, the Mu’tazilah, and the Jahmiyyah, particularly when it comes to the topic of Takfir based on oppression and ignorance. He said that all human societies are ignorant pre-Islamic societies, with the Muslim Ummah being the worse in their apostasy and state of pre-Islamic ignorance. Later, the Baatiniyyah path was added to this (methodology of his, such as) assassinations, and blowing up (buildings, people, etc.). Then, on the basis of a daring conspiracy against the leaders (of the Salafi Methodology), his adherents claim to represent the Salafi Methodology. As a result, if you are aware of this, you will be able to identify the treacherous ones and know that the Salafi Methodology is free from this kind of Takfir and devastation. If you are aware of this, it would be equivalent to an act of evident oppression when the Raafidah, the secularists, and the rationalists attribute (false) Takfir, and destruction to the Salafi methodology.  (1)

Saudi Salafi Scholar, Al-Allamah Saaleh Al-Fawzan, may Allah preserve him, stated:

“Salafiyyah is to follow the path of Salafus Saalih (The pious predecessors) – the companions of Muhammad, the followers of Muhammad’s companions and the virtuous generations. Allah [The Most High] said: [وَٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهَـٰجِرِينَ وَٱلۡأَنصَارِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُم بِـإِحۡسَـٰنٍ۬ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡہُمۡ وَرَضُواْ عَنۡهُ -And the first to embrace Islaam of the Muhaajiroon (those who migrated from Makkah to Al-Madinah) and the Ansaar (the citizens of Al-Madinah who helped and gave aid to the Muhaajiroon) and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allaah is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him]. [9:100]

Allah [The Most High] said about Muhammad’s companions:

Verily, those who believed, and emigrated and strove hard and fought with their property and their lives in the Cause of Allah as well as those who gave (them) asylum and help, – these are (all) allies to one another [8:72] until Allah stated: [وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدُ وَهَاجَرُواْ وَجَـٰهَدُواْ مَعَكُمۡ فَأُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ مِنكُمۡ‌ۚ – And those who believed afterwards, and emigrated and strove hard along with you, (in the Cause of Allaah) they are of you]. [8:75]

Allah said in Surah Al-Hashar:

(And there is also a share in this booty) for the poor emigrants, who were expelled from their homes and their property, seeking Bounties from Allaah and to please Him. And helping Allaah (i.e. helping His religion) and His Messenger (Muhammad). Such are indeed the truthful (to what they say); And those who, before them, had homes (in Al-Madinah) and had adopted the Faith, love those who emigrate to them.” [59:8-9]- up until His [The Most High] statement:

[وَٱلَّذِينَ جَآءُو مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَلِإِخۡوَٲنِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِٱلۡإِيمَـٰنِ – And those who came after them say: “Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in Faith]. 59:10

The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “This ummah will split into seventy-three sects; all of them will enter the fire except one. They said, ‘Which is that (saved sects) O Messenger of Allaah?’ He replied, ‘Those who are upon that which I and my companions are upon today’. The Prophet said, ‘Adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided Khulafaa after me’. (see footnote a)

We are required to adhere to the Salafiyyah Methodology, and we must give up any other approaches that go against it. Salafiyyah is the Methodology that has been obligated on us to follow and we are to abandon all other methodologies that are in opposition to it. The adherents to Salafiyyah are the saved sect, Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jamaa’ah, and they are the aided group till the Day of Judgement. May Allaah include us among them.  However, in order for a Muslim to adhere to this methodology, they must be aware of its basics. And to avoid the various methodologies that are in conflict with Salafiyyah, (one) must be aware of them.

As a result, Salafiyyah on the path of the pious predecessors must be (adopted) on the basis of knowledge and discernment. It is insufficient for a person to identify as Salafi while being either unaware of or opposed to it. Allaah [The Most High] said: [ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُم بِـإِحۡسَـٰنٍ۬ – And also those who followed them exactly (in Faith)].

They follow them (i.e. the pious predecessors) based on knowledge, never engaging in either extreme or negligent behaviour. They don’t overstate the case or fail to give it its due, unlike those who identify with the four imams’ schools of law (Abu Haneefah, Maalik, Shaafi’ee, and Ahmad), although disagreeing with them on matters of creed and worship. And like the one who ascribes to the path of the pious predecessors, however, he either declares Muslims to be unbelievers or rebels against Muslim rulers, or he takes further steps in the direction of extremism.  This person is not a Salafi; instead, he is referred to as a Khaariji or a Mutazili. Or like the person who claims to follow the methodology of the pious predecessors but agrees with the Mur’ji’a’s stance on the subject matter of Eemaan and Kufr. This isn’t Salafiyyah. Therefore, it is imperative to pay attention to this matter and avoid combining the Salafi methodology with other methodologies that are opposed to it and then declaring that all of these methodologies, including the Salafi methodology, are not from Islam. This is careless speech and oppressive judgement, and it amounts to deceiving the people. (2)

The elucidations provided by Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi and Al-Allamah Salih Al-Fawzan, may Allah preserve them, are undeniably ample to dispel the nefarious allegations put forth by the deceitful and audacious Ephrem Kossaify. May Allah guide him or protect us from his slanders Amin.
