[2] New Year’s Day celebration -January 1st – is Tantamount to Honouring a Roman Pagan God!

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Most High] says:

O mankind! A similitude has been coined, so listen to it (carefully): Verily! Those on whom you call besides Allah, cannot create (even) a fly, even though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly snatched away a thing from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly. So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought. They have not estimated Allah His Rightful Estimate; Verily, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty. [Surah Al-Hajj. Ayaat 73-74]
It is obligated to a servant (of Allah) to pay attention to this parable with his heart and ponder upon it properly because it cuts off the desire for Shirk. The gods worshipped by the idolaters cannot create even a fly, even if they all come to together to create it, then how about what is greater than it?! They are neither able to create a fly which is one of the weakest animals, nor are they able to gain the upper hand against it to recover what it took away from them. There is nothing more disabled and feebler than them, so how can a sensible person deem it good to worship idols (or the other things worshipped by the idolaters).

Shaikh Uways At-Taweel [may Allah preserve him] states:

This verse nullifies shirk and shows the ignorance of its people. It is a testimony that Satan plays about with them more than kids playing with a ball because they assign Godhood to images and statues that are deprived of the ability to create the most insignificant creature of the True God, even if they [i.e. those statues and images] gathered and supported one another to do so, whereas Godhood necessitates having absolute power over all the existence, absolute knowledge of all sources of knowledge, having no need of all the creation, (whilst the creation is completely dependent) upon the Lord for their needs, relief, (to remove their) distress and anxiety and (respond to their) invocations. [1]

Allah [The Exalted] says:

The likeness of those who take Auliya’ (protectors and helpers) other than Allah is as the likeness of a spider, who builds (for itself) a house, but verily, the frailest (weakest) of houses is the spider’s house, if they but knew. [Surah Al-Ankabut. Ayah 41]

Allah mentioned that they are weak and that those whom they take as protectors and helpers are weaker than them. So concerning their weakness and their goal behind taking others as protectors and helpers besides Allaah, they are similar to a spider that builds a house and it is the frailest of houses. Based on this parable, the idolators become much weaker when they take others as protectors and helpers besides Allah, and they do not benefit from those they take as protectors and helpers besides Allah, just as Allaah stated [in another Ayah]:

وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً۬ لِّيَكُونُواْ لَهُمۡ عِزًّ۬ا
كَلَّا‌ۚ سَيَكۡفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِہِمۡ وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيۡہِمۡ ضِدًّا

And they have taken (for worship) Aaliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah’s Punishment etc.). Nay, but they (the so-called gods) will deny their worship of them, and become opponents to them (on the Day of Resurrection). [Surah Maryam. Ayaat 82-83]

Allah [The Most High] says:
وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً۬ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ
لَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ نَصۡرَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ لَهُمۡ جُندٌ۬ مُّحۡضَرُونَ

And they have taken besides Allaah Aaliha (gods), hoping that they might be helped (by those so-called gods). They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning). [Surah Yaa Seen. Ayaat 74-75]

After mentioning the destruction of the nations of the idolaters, Allah said:

We wronged them not, but they wronged themselves. So their Aaliha (gods), other than Allah, whom they invoked, profited them naught when there came the Command of your Lord, nor did they add aught (to their lot) but destruction. [Surah Hud. Verse 101]

These four places in the Qur’an show that the one who takes protectors and helpers besides Allah- through whom he seeks to strengthen himself, behave arrogantly and prevail- will not achieve except the opposite, and there is a lot more about this affair in the Qur’an. This is one of the finest parables and the clearest proofs regarding the falsehood of Shirk and the deprivation of the one who commits it, and that he will achieve the opposite of what he seeks. [2]

Allah gave this similitude regarding those who worship others alongside Him, seeking honour, strength, and benefit by way of it, but Allah says that the affair is the opposite of the goal they seek because their likeness is that of a spider that builds a house to protect itself from the heat, cold and harm; but the frailest and weakest of houses is the spider’s house. The spider is one of those weak animals and its house is one of the weakest of houses, and building its house does not increase it in anything except weakness. Likewise, this is the case regarding those who take protectors and helpers besides Allah; they are in need and incapable in every way when they take protectors and helpers besides Allah to seek honour and help by way of them; so they increase weakness on their weakness, and feebleness on their feebleness because they rely on them in many of their affairs for well-being and entrust it to them, refrain from achieving it themselves and (hoping) that these [so-called] protectors and helpers will fulfill it; but they forsake them- neither receive anything (useful, beneficial, etc) nor the least (gain, benefit, etc) from their help. Had they been acquainted with the reality of knowledge, their situation, and that of those whom they take as protectors and helpers besides Allah, they would not have done so; rather they would have freed themselves from them and taken Allah as Protector and Helper- The Lord Who is able to do all things, The One Who Bestows His Special Mercy to the Believers; Who – when a servant takes Him as a Protector and an Ally, He suffices him, looks after both his religious and worldly affairs, increase him in strength upon strength in his heart [i.e. sound faith], his body [i.e. grant him the ability to seek after what is beneficial, etc], in all his circumstances and deeds. [1] New Year’s Day celebration -January 1st – is Tantamount to Honouring a Roman Pagan God!

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Allah [The Exalted] said:

Or have they taken (for worship) aliha (gods) from the earth who raise the dead? Had there been therein (in the heavens and the earth) gods besides Allah, then verily both would have been ruined. Glorified be Allah, the Lord of the Throne, (High is He) above what they attribute to Him! He cannot be questioned as to what He does, while they will be questioned. Or have they taken for worship (other) aliha (gods) besides Him? Say: “Bring your proof:” This (the Qur’an) is the Reminder for those with me and the Reminder for those before me. But most of them know not the Truth, so they are averse.  And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad) but We inspired him (saying): La ilaha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allah)], so worship Me (Alone and no one else).” [Surah Al-Anbiyaa. Aayaat 21-25]

Shaikh Uways At-Taweel [may Allah preserve him] states:

Allah [The Exalted] stated His disapproval of the polytheists – those who [worship the things they have taken as] gods in the earth, even though these (so called) gods are absolutely incapacitated and powerless; neither able to bring them back to life nor resurrect them, and this is further explained by the statement of Allah:

 وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً لاَ يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئًا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلاَ يَمْلِكُونَ ِلأَنفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّا وَلاَ نَفْعًا وَلاَ يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًا وَلاَ حَيَاةً وَلاَ نُشُورًا

Yet they have taken besides Him other aliha (gods) that created nothing but are themselves created, and possess neither hurt nor benefit for themselves, and possess no power (of causing) death, nor (of giving) life, nor of raising the dead. [Surah Al-Furqaan. Ayah 3]

Allah [The Exalted] said:

وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لَعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُحْضَرُونَ

And they have taken besides Allah aliha (gods), hoping that they might be helped (by those so-called gods). They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning). [Surah Yaaseen. Aayaat 74-75]

A polytheist worships a created thing that can neither benefit nor harm, and he abandons sincere worship to Allah – The One Who is Perfect [i.e. the only possessor of Perfect Names and Attributes; free from all weaknesses, shortcomings and imperfections], and in His Hand is the absolute control over all benefit and harm. This shows that a polytheist [or idolater] is not blessed [with guidance], his ignorance is clearly established as well as the extremity of his unjust behaviour towards Allah because it is only befitting that there is only one [true] deity, just as there cannot be except one [true] Lord. Due to this, Allah [The Exalted] said:

لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَا آلِهَةٌ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَا فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

Had there been therein (in the heavens and the earth) gods besides Allah, then verily both [i.e. the heavens and the earth] would have been ruined. Glorified be Allah, the Lord of the Throne, (High is He) above what they attribute to Him! [Surah Al-Anbiyaa. Ayah 22]

Meaning: Both the heavens and the earth would have been ruined as well the creation in them. The heavens and the earth – as one can see – are in a perfect state, intact and in perfect order. Neither is there any defect in them and obstacles [to its perfect order] nor conflict in its organisation. Therefore, this shows that the One who controls and regulates its affairs is One- its Lord is one and the deity [under whose control they are maintained] is One. If it were the case that the heavens and the earth has two [deities] that control and regulate its affairs- two lords or more, then its perfect order would have been ruined and its foundations would have been undermined. That is because they would have been obstacles and opponents to one another; so if one of them wishes to plan and administer something and the other one wishes that it should not take place, then it would be impossible for both their wishes to be fulfilled. [On the other hand], the fulfilment of the wishes of one of them would have shown that the other one is weak and unable do whatever he wants; and it is impossible that both of them will agree on everything.  Therefore, the wish of The Irresistible [i.e. Allah- the only True Lord and besides Him every other deity is false]- is what will be fulfilled without anyone being able to prevent or repel it. And this is why Allah [The Exalted] said:

مَا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ مِنْ وَلَدٍ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَهُ مِنْ إِلَهٍ إِذًا لَذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلَهٍ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلاَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! [Surah Al-Muminoon. Ayah 91]

[An Excerpt from Tafseer As-Sadi. Slightly paraphrased]

[2] “I have asked People of Knowledge and I have a Fatwa, and I am acting on the verdict”. [This should not be based on desires or personal ambitions]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Caution to Those Seekers of Fatwa Who Say That They Understand The Evidence

Imam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “The loftiest ambition in pursuit of knowledge is to acquire knowledge from the Qur’an and the Sunnah- to be granted understanding by Allah [i.e. blessed to acquire sound knowledge and act upon it] and through the Sunnah of the Messenger, and acquaint oneself with the boundaries of the revelation [i.e. neither going into excess nor being lackadaisical]. And the most baseless ambition of the students of knowledge is to confine their ambitions in following the bizarre affairs and that which has neither occurred nor has it been revealed, or acquainting (oneself) with the differences of opinion and pursuing the statements of the scholars, whilst having no ambition to acquaint oneself with what is correct among those statements. Little is there to benefit from the knowledge of these people”. [1]

Imam ash-Shaatibee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated regarding the attitude of the unjustified pursuit of concessions: “This arises from following one’s desires. Desire leads to a too easygoing attitude and the pursuit of concessions for oneself and others. So, you see him adopting that for himself or passing that judgment for his relative or friend, which he would not do for another person due to the desire of that relative and friend”. [2]

Imaam Ash-Shaatibee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] also said, “If a Mukallaf [i.e. the sane one who has reached the age when the obligations of the Shariah are obligated on him or her] seeks after concessions in the Madhabs in every affair that is difficult for him and every statement that agrees with his desires, then he will remove himself from the firm handhold of piety and persist upon the pursuit of desires”. [3]

Ibrahim Ibn Abee Ablah (died 152AH – may Allaah have mercy upon him) said, “He who carries the odd affairs of knowledge carries a lot of evil”. [4]

Abdur Rahmaan Bin Mahdi (died 198AH – may Allaah have mercy upon him) said, “The one who pursues the odd affairs of knowledge cannot be an Imam in knowledge”. [5]

Imam Ash-Shaatibee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “f desires enter (a person), it leads to following the ambiguous matters out of being eager to prevail and become victorious through establishing excuses in issues related to difference of opinion (or differing); but rather it leads to splitting, disharmony, enmity, and hatred due to the different desires and lack of (sound) agreement; however, the Shariah came to curtail (vain) desires completely. If some of the premises of the evidence were not established except through desires, it would not result except in following desires and that is contrary to the Shariah, and opposing the Shariah is not fr of the Shariah at all. Therefore, following desires concerning what one may regard to be adherence to the Shariah is tantamount to misguidance.”. [6]

Caution to Judges and Muftis

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him] also stated, “It is not permissible to act and issue Fatwas in the religion ordained by Allah [The Almighty] based on desires, preference and what is agreement with one’s goal, so he seeks a saying that agrees with his goal and the goal of those who love him; then he acts according to it, issues fatwa and judges according to it, judges his enemy and issues fatwas against him. This is one of the most sinful acts and one of the greatest of sins, and Allah’s Aid is sought (against this behaviour)”. [7]

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: “It is not permissible for a Mufti to act upon whatever he wants from the statements (of the scholars) and the different angles upon they seek to establish the proofs, without examining the affair that carries the weightier proof. The scholars hold a consensus that it is forbidden to do this”. [8]

Mistakes of The Sincere Scholars In Ijtihaad

Amr bin Al-Aas [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated that he heard Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] saying, “If a Mujtahid gives a verdict according to the best of his knowledge and his verdict is correct, he will receive a double reward, and if he gives a verdict according to the best of his knowledge and his verdict is wrong, even then he will get a reward”. [9]

A Mujtahid is not deprived of reward and his judgment is different from that of one who is not a Mujtahid. Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: “The one who speaks about the religion without knowledge and out of ignorance (is guilty of) lying and sinning. The one who intentionally speaks to oppose the truth is threatened with entry into the fire of hell, as opposed to the affair of the one who speaks based on permissible Ijtihaad because he strives, fears Allah as much as he is able, desires to seek knowledge as much as he was able, speaks for the sake of Allah, knows the stronger proof and speaks based on that. This person is given two rewards if he is correct; but if he is mistaken, he receives one reward”. [10]

Al-Allaamah Abdur-Rahmaan Bin Yahyah Al-Mu’allimee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] spoke about this affair that the sincere ones fall into some mistake as a trial for others, as to whether they will follow the truth and abandon his speech, or be deceived by his virtuousness and lofty (status)! He (i.e. this sincere scholar) is excused; rather he is rewarded for his Ijtihaad and intention for good, and he is not degraded. However, the one who follows him (out of being) deceived by his great (status) without turning towards the true evidence in Allah’s Book and the Sunnah of His Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] is not excused; rather he is upon great danger. [11]

Finally, we ask Allah to protect us from all the obstacles that may prevent a person from accepting the truth after its clarification. Al-Allaamah Abdur-Rahmaan Bin Yahyah Al-Mu’allimee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “It may be that a person is upon ignorance or falsehood, then another person comes along and clarifies the proofs for him, so he sees that by acknowledging such proofs, it would necessitate that he is lacking (in understanding) and that it was that person who guided him. And due to this we find that it is not difficult for some of those attributed to knowledge to acknowledge their mistakes when it becomes manifest to them in their research and studies, but it becomes difficult for them if it was others who clarified such mistakes. When another person clarifies the truth for him, he sees that acknowledging such truth would necessitate an acknowledgment of the clarifier’s virtue, knowledge, and correctness due to that clarification, and thus that becomes great in the eyes of the people and many people follow him [i.e. the person who clarified the truth]. So you will find some of those attributed to knowledge being eager to prove the mistakes of other scholars even if that is done by way of falsehood due to envy and seeking to diminish their status amongst the people. To oppose desires for the sake of the truth -in affairs of knowledge and creed- can indeed be difficult to accomplish, therefore it requires (sincere) research and contemplation. And in this regard, one needs to ask the scholars and benefit from them, adhering to fear of Allah, seeking the Tawfeeq of Allah and guidance”. [12]

We ask Allah:

O Allah! Rectify my religion for me, which is the safeguard of my affairs; rectify my worldly [affairs], wherein is my livelihood; and rectify my Afterlife to which is my return, and make life for me [as a means of] increase in every good and make death for me as a rest from every evil. [13]

[7] Remind those who praise or retweet without clarity that illegal partisans and their apologists do capture the hearts of unsuspecting tweeters with tweets regarding good manners

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said:

One of the plots and deceptions employed by Shaytaan is to entice a servant of Allah towards sinful behavior by using good manners, friendliness, and cheerfulness, so a person is approached in this manner by someone whose evil one cannot escape except with a smirk, frowning and turning away from him. The enemy (shaytaan) makes it fair-seeming to him to approach this person with a warm demeanor, a pleasant countenance, and charming words, thus establishing a bond with him. However, once he desires to distance himself from this person, he finds himself incapable of doing so. The enemy (shaytaan) persists in his efforts until he attains his objective, thus he cunningly manipulates a servant of Allah through the guise of good behavior and a pleasant countenance. Hence, the knowledgeable scholars concerning the (ailments, weaknesses, and strengths) of the heart advised that one should turn away from the advocates of Bidah- neither greeting nor displaying a friendly demeanor towards them, and instead meeting them with a frown and turning away. [1]

The Stance of As-Salaf As-Saalih [The Pious Predecessors] Against Ahlul Bidah

Ibn Abbaas [may Allaah be pleased with him and his father] said, “Do not sit with the people of desires, because indeed it causes sickness of the heart”. [2]

Sallaam Ibn Abee Mutee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: A man from the people of (vain) desires said to Ayyoub As-Sakhtiyaanee, “O Abaa-Bakr! I want to ask you about some statement”. Ayyoub walked away and started gesturing with his finger, saying, “Not even half a statement”. [3]

Shu’aib [may Allaah have mercy upon him] narrated: I said to Ibn Seereen, “What is your view with regards to listening to the people of (vain) desires (i.e. ahlul bidah)?” He said, “We neither listen to them nor honour (them)”. [4]

Imaam Fudayl Ibn Iyaad said, “Whoever sits with a person of bidah has not been given wisdom”. Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan commented on this statement, saying,”He (i.e. the one who sits with a person of bidah) is deprived of wisdom, and wisdom is understanding of the religion ordained by Allah. The one who sits with ahlul bidah is deprived of understanding of the religion as punishment for him”. [5]

Allah [The Most High] said: [وَلَا تَرۡكَنُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ فَتَمَسَّكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ – And incline not toward those who do wrong, lest the Fire should touch you]. [Surah Hud: Ayah 113]

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah preserve him] said: The word [ظلم –wrong] can be disbelief, bidah and immoral behaviour because (ظلم) can apply to all [i.e. in different contexts]. Therefore, we refrain from inclining towards the evildoers, the people of bidah, the Kuffaar, the secularists and other than them. And we protect ourselves, our Aqeedah, the Iemaan and the sound religion which Allah has bestowed on us. It is enough for us to remember that the Salaf [pious predecessors] fled from temptations- neither mixing nor sitting and debating with the people of temptation. Even amongst them, such as the likes of Ayyoub As-Sakhtiyaanee and Ibn Seereen did not listen to the speech of those (people of bidah). And when Ibn Seereen was asked, “Why do you not speak? Why do you not listen to them?” He said, “Indeed, my heart is not in my hands! I am not in control of my heart, I fear for myself that I may be misguided”. So the likes of these Imaams feared temptation and deviation for themselves, but you the needy one possess that bravery to enable you to challenge ahlul bidah….!!! Many people say, “We sit with ahlul ahwaa (i.e. the people of vain desires) and we take (from them), we distinguish between truth and falsehood, we take what is truth and abandon falsehood”, whilst he (i.e. the utterer of this speech) is a needy one (in knowledge and Imaan) who can neither distinguish between truth and falsehood nor is he in control of his heart. How many young people have been put to trial through this satanic view and thus he is degraded, reverted on his heels (into misguidance) and depraved? He falls prey in the arena of the people of temptation! Therefore, it is obligated to a student of knowledge not to ((regard) himself safe from ahlul bidah because he is not more knowledgeable than Ayyoub and Ibn Seereen, nor can he reach their station (in knowledge, piety etc) and those who followed them. [6]

Imaam As-Saabooni [may Allah have mercy upon him] said:

They [i.e. Ahlul Hadeeth] hated Ahlul-Bid’ah – those who initiated into the religion what is not from it. They neither loved them nor kept company with them. They neither listened to their speech nor sat with them. They neither argued with them about the religion nor debated with them”. Al-Allaamah Rabee [may Allah preserve him] stated after quoting this statement: “How is this (the case)? Is this (view initiated) from themselves or guidance from Allah and His Messenger, and that which the pious predecessors adhere to? Allah [Glorified and Exalted be He] warned against Ahlul Bidah and clarified for us that they are people of (vain) desires and that they follow Mutashaabihaat (i.e. texts that are not entirely clear in what they indicate, so they are referred back to other texts to be explained) and they abandon the Muhkamaat (i.e. very clear texts). Aa’isha [may Allah be pleased with her] said: The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] recited this Ayah:

It is He Who has sent down to you [Muhammad] the Book [this Qur’an]. In it are Verses that are (entirely clear, they are the foundations of the Book [and those are the Verses of Al-Ahkaam (commandments, etc.), Al-Faraa’id (obligatory duties) and Al-Hudood (legal laws for the punishment of thieves, adulterers, etc.)]; and others are Mutashaabihaat (i.e. not entirely clear in what they indicate, so they are to be referred back to the Muhkamaat to be explained]. So, as for those in whose hearts there is a deviation (from the truth) they follow that which is not entirely clear thereof, seeking Al-Fitnah (polytheism and trials, etc.), and seeking its ambiguous meanings, but none knows its hidden meanings except Allaah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: ‘’We believe in it; the whole of it (clear and unclear Verses) are from our Lord.” And none receive admonition except men of understanding.’’ [Surah Aal Imraan. Aayah 7]   She said: The Messenger said, “If you see those who follow thereof that is not entirely clear, then they are those whom Allah has named (as having deviation from the truth)] so beware of them”. [Bukhaari Number 4547]

Allah clarified that they (i.e. ahlul bidah) harbour (vain) desires and deviation, and that they intend to misguide themselves and other people! They desire temptation and intend to misguide the people, and that is why the Messenger mentioned them and described their condition to us. He said, “Indeed there will appear a people out of my Ummah in whom desires will run through them just as rabies runs through a dog”.

Ahlul Sunnah – no doubt – hate Ahlul bidah and Imaam (As Saabooni)] mentioned a number of them [i.e. senior scholars of ahlul hadeeth] that they all agreed upon hating (Ahlul bidah). However, amongst them [i.e Ahlul bidah] there are du’aat [callers to their bidah]- they are neither to be sat with nor debated with, except in cases of necessity and for a Maslahah [i.e. a carefully assessed benefit identified by rightly guided scholars amongst the scholars], (otherwise), it is not permissible to enter into debate with them. It is not permissible to enter into a specific debate with the Rawaafid if you are weak (i.e. in knowledge and character), except if one is a man who is firmly grounded in knowledge and religion, (very proficient in) establishing proofs, clever and a possessor of (force and strength that enables him to easily excel in debate with the clear proofs without being affected by doubts). Then if he sees a benefit in debating them, he debates them. [وَجَادِلْهُم بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ – and argue with them in a way that is better]. This is the legislated debate. Allah did not close the issue of debate completely, therefore, if we have a way of establishing the proof and guiding the people to good, we follow it. The one who is debated with may not benefit but others may benefit.

As for the weak one, then no (i.e. he does not engage in debate). Even amongst the scholars, there is one who is weak and led to be mistaken through Shub’hah [i.e. a statement or affair that resembles the truth but is falsehood in reality]. He may be a scholar but his character is weak, so he becomes weak in the presence of Ahlul bidah, even if they are younger than him and lesser in knowledge! Indeed, it has happened to many of those who ascribe to the Sunnah and Hadeeth due to their weakness and opposition to the methodology of the pious predecessors. Al Bayhaqqi was from the seniors of Ahlul hadeeth and their scholars and was deceived by some of the Ashaa’irah such as Ibn Fawrak and his ilk, so he fell into Ash’ariyyah! How many among the youth- in this era – have been ruined at the hands of Ahlul bidah?! How many youths, middle-aged men, and graduates from universities have been deceived by Ahlul bidah, and thus they fall into their arms?! They are deceived by the parties (of illegal partisanship) and thus fall into their arms! Why is this? Because they did not act upon the statement of the Messenger, “If you see those who follow thereof that is not entirely clear, then they are those whom Allah has named (as having deviation from the truth) so beware of them”. The strong one calls Ahlul bidah, he calls the Christians; there has to be Dawah in the path of Allah and there have to be strong scholars who disseminate the religion of Allah, and when necessary, they debate so that the proofs are established and benefit one who is to benefit. Manhaj principles remain intact, whilst Abu Makkah’s companion – [Muhammad Abdur Razzaaq] was rebuked by Shaikh Abu Khadeejah for calling to Musaafiqah (Ghuluww) and now recommending gatherings of Mumayyi’ah (Greenlane)

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khalee [may Allah preserve him] said:

When you embark upon the path in pursuit of knowledge- seeking understanding and acting upon it, this is one of the signs that Allah wishes good for you. Therefore, receive glad tidings, have good thoughts about Allah, and be sincere to Allah [The Blessed and Exalted] in your statements, deeds, and knowledge. Neither be deceived – we seek Allah’s Refuge from self-deception – nor feel safe from Allah’s plan. [فَلَا يَأۡمَنُ مَڪۡرَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلۡقَوۡمُ ٱلۡخَـٰسِرُونَ – None feels secure from the Plan of Allah except the people who are the losers]. [ Surah Al-A’raaf. Ayah 99]

A believer always fears that his situation will change. It has been reported from Aa’isha and Anas [may Allah pleased with them] that the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] often (supplicated):

“يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِى عَلَى دِينِكَ – O turner of the hearts (Allah)! Keep my heart firm upon your religion”. I (i.e. Aa’isha or Anas) asked, “O Allah’s Messenger! We believe in you and what has been revealed to you, so do you fear for us?” He said, “Yes, indeed the hearts are between two fingers among the fingers of Allah and He turns them how He pleases”. By Allah! This is understanding that a person does not feel safe about himself because Satan flows through the human being like blood. (a) Therefore, a person should guard his heart, intellect, and deeds ardently more than he guards his wealth and honour. Whoever is given authority to look after his affairs is obligated to guard his heart before everything else. Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower]. [ Surah Al Imraan’ Ayah 8] [1]

I warn my brothers against the Fitan (trials, temptations) and that they turn to Allah (for help) to keep them steadfast in the Religion. They should supplicate a lot [just as Allah taught the believers that they say]:

[رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ – Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower]. [Surah Al Imraan’ Ayah 8]

They should make this tremendous supplication often and the supplication which Allah’s Messenger used to make often. Anas said that Allah’s Messenger used to say a lot, “O Turner of the hearts! Keep my heart firm upon your religion”. So the companions said, “O Allah’s Messenger! Do you fear for us?” He said, “Yes, indeed the hearts are between two fingers from the fingers of Allah, and He turns them however He wills”. Therefore, the believer does not feel secure from Allah’s plan. [فَلَا يَأۡمَنُ مَڪۡرَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلۡقَوۡمُ ٱلۡخَـٰسِرُونَ – None feels secure from the Plan of Allah except the people who are the losers]. [Surah Al-A’raaf, Ayah 99][2]

Shaikh Abu Khadeejah [may Allah preserve him] was asked about Muhammad Abdur Razzaaq [may Allah guide him]:

Shaikh Abu Khadeejah replied:

Muhammad first fell into the Fitna of the Musaafiqah – extremism, [Footnote a] and now he is calling to the gatherings organised by the blazing hizbiyyoon of Greenlane. [Footnote b] Imaam Ibn Al-Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: “The basis, origin of all theoretical knowledge and every wilfully chosen action are the thoughts (khawaatir) and ideas (afkaar). For they necessitate conceptions (visualisations, imaginations) [in the minds], and these conceptions invite towards iraadaat (i.e. the desires, will, intent for something), and these iraadaat require the occurrence of the action. And the frequent repetition of the occurrence of this action then leads to a habit. Hence, the rectitude of all of these steps lies in the rectitude of the (initial) thoughts and ideas, and the corruption (of all these steps) lies in them also…” [3]

When Shaikh Abu Khadeejah warned against Muhammad’s path, his companion Abu Makkah went into a frenzy, however, look at his present state of affairs while he calls to the gatherings of the Mumayyi’ah of Greenlane?!

Surprised that some Zionist soldiers transgressed to the extent that they entered a Masjid in Jenin?!

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] said:
قَدْ بَدَتِ ٱلْبَغْضَآءُ مِنْ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِى صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ

Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse. [Surah Al-Imran. Ayah 118]

Some Muslims are surprised that some Zionist soldiers transgressed to the extent that they even entered a Masjid in Jenin and pronounced their symbols of kufr, innovated and abrogated acts of worship; but this is not surprising from two perspectives. First, they inherited this path from their misguided predecessors, as Allah says:

[ وَأَنَّ ٱلْمَسَٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدًا – And the mosques are for Allah (Alone), so invoke not anyone along with Allah]. [Surah Al-Jinn. Ayah 18]

As the greatest places of worship, the Mosques are built for devotion to Allah alone, and submission to His Greatness and Might. [1] Whenever the Jews and Christians [i.e. those who altered the Torah and the Injeel after the departure of Prophets Musa and Isa (peace be upon them)] entered their (churches, monasteries, synagogues, etc), they would ascribe partners to Allah in worship, so Allah commanded the believers to single out Allah alone in their invocation whenever they enter the Mosques, and He meant all the Masaajid. [2]

Second, their acts of Kufr (disbelief) are worse than their war crimes and transgressions against that Mosque in Jenin. Allah says: [وَٱلْفِتْنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ ٱلْقَتْلِ – And Fitna (tribulation) is worse than killing]. [Al-Baqarah 191] – Meaning, since fighting at the Sacred Masjid (i.e. the Kabah) was considered to be corruption in this sacred land (i.e. Makkah), Allah [The Exalted] informed us that the corruption that results from the Fitna (tribulation) of Shirk and hindering the people from the religion He has ordained is worse than the corruption of killing. [3]

The Destructive Consequences of Kufr (Disbelief)

Allah [The Exalted] said:

And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said, “My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day.” He (Allah) answered: “As for him who disbelieves, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the torment of the Fire, and worst indeed is that destination!” [Surah Al-Baqarah. Aayah 126]

Meaning, when Ibraaheem supplicated for this house (i.e. the Ka’bah) and its surrounding areas that Allah make it a city of security and provide its inhabitants with various types of fruits; he then restricted his supplication to the believers out of showing good manners in the presence of Allaah, because the first part of his supplication was unrestricted (when he ask for all his children) and thus the response came as a restriction. So, he restricted his supplication for provision to the believers, even though Allah’s Provision reaches both believers and disbelievers, the disobedient person and the obedient person. Allah said: [وَمَن كَفَرَ – As for him who disbelieves]- Meaning, I will bestow on all of them- both Muslims and disbelievers. The Muslim utilises this provision to worship Allaah and then proceed towards the bliss of paradise, but as for the disbeliever, he enjoys himself for a short period (in the life of this world), [ثُمَّ أَضۡطَرُّهُ ۥۤ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلنَّارِ‌ۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ – then I shall compel him to the torment of the Fire, and worst indeed is that destination!] [4]

Allah [The Exalted] said: [وَقُلِ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكُمۡ‌ۖ فَمَن شَآءَ فَلۡيُؤۡمِن وَمَن شَآءَ فَلۡيَكۡفُرۡ‌ۚ – And say: “The truth is from your Lord.” Then whosoever wills, let him believe, and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve]- Meaning – O Muhammad! Say to the people: This is the truth from your Lord and certainly He has clearly explained the difference between guidance and misguidance, distinguished between the path of upright conduct and deviation, the traits of those who are blessed and the traits of those who are wretched have been distinguished based on that which Allah has explained through the speech of His Messenger. Therefore, after it has been manifested and made clear, and there remains no ambiguity, then [فَمَن شَآءَ فَلۡيُؤۡمِن وَمَن شَآءَ فَلۡيَكۡفُرۡ‌ۚ – Then whosoever wills, let him believe, and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve] – Meaning, nothing remains except to follow one of the two paths based on whether a person is blessed with guidance or not. Indeed, Allah granted a person free will by way of which he can choose between faith and disbelief, and between good and evil; so whoever believes then indeed he has been blessed with what is correct and whoever disbelieves then indeed the proofs have been established against him. There is no compulsion as Allaah stated in another verse:

There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower. [Surah Al-Baqarah. Aayah 256]

And regarding Allaah’s statement, [فَمَن شَآءَ فَلۡيُؤۡمِن وَمَن شَآءَ فَلۡيَكۡفُرۡ‌ۚ – Then whosoever wills, let him believe, and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve], this does not mean that one is given permission in both affairs (i.e. belief and disbelief), but rather the statement is a threat and warning to those who choose disbelief after the affair has been explained thoroughly.

Then Allah mentions the final abode of both groups, saying:

Verily, We have prepared for the Zalimun (disbelievers in Allah and His Messenger), a Fire whose walls will be surrounding them. And if they ask for help (relief, water, etc.) they will be granted water like boiling oil, that will scald their faces. Terrible the drink, and an evil Murtafaqa (dwelling, resting place, etc.)! Verily! As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, certainly! We shall not suffer to be lost the reward of anyone who does his (righteous) deeds in the most perfect manner. These! For them will be ‘Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens); wherein rivers flow underneath them, therein they will be adorned with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine and thick silk. They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good is the reward, and what an excellent Murtafaqa (dwelling, resting place, etc.)! [5]

Why those ancient Ethno-Supremacists systematically slaughtered offspring of a different ethnic group within their nation?

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Then, when he brought them the Truth from Us, they said: “Kill the sons of those who believe with him and let their women live”, but the plots of disbelievers are nothing but errors!” [Surah Ghaafir Ayah]

Qataadah [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated: “This is different from the (previous occasion when the sons of Bani Israel were being) killed because Fir’awn did cease from killing, but after Allah sent Prophet Musa [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], he resumed the killing. [1] At first, the (command to kill was aimed at) stopping the emergence of a man like Musa, or an act designed to demoralise Bani Israa’eel and reduce their numbers, or both. As for the second (command to kill), it was to demoralise this nation (i.e. Bani Israa’eel) so that they would consider Musa [peace be upon him] as a bad omen. [2]

Zionist Mr. Simcha Rothman and The Four Types of Thieves!

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Where did he learn thievery in the name of religion?

Allah [The Exalted] says:

Among the people of the Scripture is he who, if entrusted with a Cantar [a great amount of wealth, etc.], will readily pay it back; and among them there is he who, if entrusted with a single silver coin, will not repay it unless you constantly stand demanding, because they say: ‘’There is no blame on us to betray and take the properties of the illiterates (Arabs).” But they tell a lie against Allah while they know it. [Surah Aal Imraan. Ayah 75]

Imam As-Sadi [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: They (i.e. the unjust ones amongst them) made corrupt claims and held repulsive views, and thus considered themselves to be possessors of great status and that the illiterate Arabs were extremely degraded; therefore, the rights of the illiterate Arabs could be violated. So, through these corrupt claims and repulsive views, they ate Haraam and considered it lawful by way of creed. Also, they lied against Allah because the scholar who declares things lawful or unlawful is considered- by the people- as one transmitting Allah’s Judgement and not from himself; and that (ruling of theirs about the wealth of the illiterate Arabs) is a lie. Allah said: [وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَ وَهُمۡ يَعۡلَمُون – But they tell a lie against Allah while they know it]. This is one of the greatest sins, and that is to speak about Allah without knowledge. [1]

A conversation between (Simcha Rothman) – a member of the religious Zionist party-  and a BBC Reporter

Simcha: I think when we talk about two-state solutions, we are using three words and three lies. It’s definitely not a solution.

Reporter: So, what’s the answer, an everlasting occupation?

Simcha: First, occupation is not the word; one cannot occupy his own land. Israel is not an occupied Israel, but that is the land of Israel.

Reporter: So, what about Gaza, the land of Israel?

Simcha: Again, land of Israel. You cannot be occupying it, we are not occupying it from anyone.

Identify which of the four types of thieves Mr Sincha resembles or whether he combines the characteristics of more than one of them or all of them

Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saalih Al-Uthaymeen [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: Thieves are four types: [

As-Saariq does not make himself apparent–neither in the beginning of the affair [i.e. the theft] nor in the end. Al-Muntahib makes himself apparent in the beginning and at the end (of the theft) but he does not take anything by overpowering (the victim); rather he snatches. Al-Mukhtalis is like the Al-Muntahib, except that he hides himself at the beginning of the (theft). Al-Ghaasib is like the Al-Muntahib, except that he takes away something by overpowering (the victim). [2]

[1] Zionists and the Means of Communication – [The Media and Propaganda Mediums]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] said:

وَإِذَا قُلۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡدِلُواْ وَلَوۡ ڪَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰ‌ۖ

And when you testify, be just, even if (it concerns) a near relative. [1]

When you testify by way of a statement to judge between people, differentiate between them in a discourse, and speak regarding matters and circumstances, be just in your speech, adhere to truthfulness regarding those you love and those you hate, be fair and do not conceal what needs to be made clear because it is forbidden and tantamount to injustice to divert (from justice and fairness) when speaking against the one you hate. [2]

Therefore, we remind ourselves of the fact that not all Jews are engaged in the plots of the Zionists, as Shaikh Abu Iyaad [may Allah preserve him] stated, “It is important to note that not all Jews are involved in these intrigues and the Jews as a population have, throughout history, been subject to the whims and desires of their religious and political leaders, and have been made to undergo much persecution as a result”. Must read below:

https://abuiyaad.com/w/king-faisal-zionism?s=35

The Media

Without question, one of the most important and dangerous ways to utilise and propagate ideas is through the media, which influences a wide range of people, governments, society, and individuals, both inside and beyond the nation where the means of communication is used. The media, which includes newspapers, magazines, and audio-visual devices, transcends national boundaries, particularly in recent times. Whether through its inception, exploitation, or acquisition of intellectual and financial dominance, the two Zionist schools of thought shared control over a large number of media outlets. As a result, the media expanded and became a major tool of Zionist-Christian influence. There are news agencies that have control of the news released around the world, and it is well-known that news has a big impact on public opinion, both in terms of wording and content, and there are television and radio stations, as well as large media companies, that are controlled by Zionists.

Cinemas and film production companies have a great impact on transmitting Zionist ideas. Perhaps the lectures, seminars, and speeches related to guidance on various channels have a greater share of the Christian Zionists exploiting them to broadcast their principles. Articles, interviews, and analyses in newspapers and magazines have a clear impact on expressing and convincing people of what they want to convey. Similarly, books written and published pamphlets are among the most important Zionist means, as well as the impact of scientific theories and philosophical ideas. Many people are attracted to theories and novel concepts, which is why Christian Zionism sought to use them as an effective tool for disseminating its ideals, whether they were among those who created the theories and ideas or among those who rode their waves of popularity. As a result, theories put forth by John Locke, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Pascal Blaise, Immanuel Kant, even Isaac Newton, and Joseph Priestley are among some of the most significant approaches that helped propagate Christian Zionism and its ideas. [Also] Zionist beliefs and people’s adherence to them were greatly aided by poets and other authors.

Christian Zionism’s influence is evident in how it uses the following strategies: [I] News Agencies as the primary source of information on global events that other media use. They can choose to spotlight a story by covering it extensively in newspapers and other media, or they can choose to hide and obfuscate it. [II] Propaganda Mediums. There is no doubt that the main news agencies are responsible for any media hype that attracts attention, mobilise supporters, and raises morale, while weakening enemies, and transferring the battle to a global atmosphere, in which there are opportunities for progress and resolution. Theodor Herzl said, “Hype is everything, and the truth is that hype leads to great actions”. [a] In the Zionist Protocols, it is stated that the Zionists must influence non-Zionist governments through public opinion, which they have created through the greatest force, namely the press, which is worthless except in exceptional cases and is within their reach. Where would a Zionist Terrorist inherit his extreme disbelief, intoxication with the desire for transgression, treachery, and bloodshed?!

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] said:

Verily! Those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and kill the Prophets without right (i.e. the transgressors among Bani Israa’eel and not all of them), and kill those men who order just dealings, announce to them a painful torment. They are those whose works will be lost in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers. Have you not seen those who have been given a portion of the Scripture? They are being invited to the Book of Allah to settle their dispute, then a party of them turn away, and they are averse. This is because they say: “The Fire shall not touch us but for a number of days.” And that which they used to invent regarding their religion has deceived them. How (will it be) when We gather them together on the Day about which there is no doubt (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). And each person will be paid in full what he has earned? And they will not be dealt with unjustly. [Al-Imram. Ayaat 21-25]

Allah [The Exalted] stated:

And (remember) when you said, “O Musa (Moses)! We cannot endure one kind of food. So invoke your Lord for us to bring forth for us of what the earth grows, its herbs, its cucumbers, its Fum (wheat or garlic), its lentils, and its onions.” He said, “Would you exchange that which is better for that which is lower? Go you down to any town and you shall find what you want!” And they were covered with humiliation and misery, and they drew on themselves the Wrath of Allah. That was because they (i.e. the rebellious among them) used to disbelieve the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and killed the Prophets wrongfully. That was because they disobeyed and used to transgress the bounds (in their disobedience to Allah, i.e. commit crimes and sins). [Surah Al-Baqarah. Ayah 61]

Allah [The Exalted] says:

The people of the Scripture ask you to cause a book to descend upon them from heaven. Indeed they asked Musa (Moses) for even greater than that when they said: “Show us Allah in public,” but they were struck with thunderclaps and lightning for their wickedness. Then they worshipped the calf even after clear proofs, evidences, and signs had come to them. (Even) so We forgave them. And We gave Musa (Moses) a clear proof of authority. And for their covenant, We raised over them the Mount and (on the other occasion) We said: “Enter the gate prostrating (or bowing) with humility;” and We commanded them: “Transgress not (by doing worldly works on) the Sabbath (Saturday).” And We took from them a firm covenant. Because of their breaking the covenant (i.e. the transgressors among them), and of their rejecting the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, and of their killing the Prophets unjustly, and of their saying: “Our hearts are wrapped (with coverings, i.e. we do not understand what the Messengers say)” – nay, Allah has set a seal upon their hearts because of their disbelief, so they believe not but a little. And because of their disbelief and uttering against Maryam (Mary) a grave false charge (that she has committed illegal sexual intercourse); and because of their saying (in boast), “We killed Messiah ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah,” – but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of ‘Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)]: But Allah raised him [‘Iesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise. [Surah Al-Nisaa. Ayaat 153-158]

Allah [The Exalted] said:

And (remember) when We took your covenant (saying): Shed not the blood of your people, nor turn out your own people from their dwellings. Then, (this) you ratified and (to this) you bear witness. After this, it is you who kill one another and drive out a party of you from their homes, assist (their enemies) against them, in sin and transgression. And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them, although their expulsion was forbidden to you. Then do you believe in a part of the Scripture and reject the rest? Then what is the recompense of those who do so among you, except disgrace in the life of this world, and on the Day of Resurrection they shall be consigned to the most grievous torment. And Allah is not unaware of what you do. Those are they who have bought the life of this world at the price of the Hereafter. Their torment shall not be lightened nor shall they be helped. [Surah Al-Baqarah. Ayaat 84-86]

This deed mentioned in the Ayah was that of those who were in Madina at the time of revelation. Al-Aws and Al-Khazraj – who became the Ansar (after accepting Islam) – were polytheists before the advent of the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]. They used to fight according to the pre-Islamic custom, so the three (specific) Jewish groups came to them: Banu Quradha, Banu Al-Nadir, and Banu Al-Qaynuqa. Each group allied with a group of the people of Madina, so when they fought, a Jew would help his ally against the fighters who were supported by the other group of Jews, and a Jew would kill another Jew and expel him from his home when expulsion and plunder occurred. Then, when the battle ended, and both groups held captives against each group, they demanded ransom from each other. So, three matters were obligated to them: neither shed one another’s blood nor expel one another, and If they find a prisoner of their own, they must ransom him. So, they did the last and abandon the first, but Allah declared His rejection against them, saying: [أَفَتُؤۡمِنُونَ بِبَعۡضِ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ وَتَكۡفُرُونَ بِبَعۡضٍ۬‌ۚ – Then do you believe in a part of the Scripture and reject the rest?]- Meaning, (You believe in) freeing the captive by paying the ransom, but you kill and expel people from their homes. This Ayah contains the greatest evidence that Iman requires following commands and avoiding prohibitions and that commands are part of Iman. Allah said:

Then what is the recompense of those who do so among you, except disgrace in the life of this world, and on the Day of Resurrection they shall be consigned to the most grievous torment. And Allah is not unaware of what you do. [1]

Ahlul Bidah among the Muslims are also initiators of evil and bloodshed

Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) stated: The wars that take place between the Muslims and the splitting are only brought about by the people of desires, such as the Khawaarij, the Mutazilah, and other than them! The people of desires are the ones who cause the fitnah—the Mutazilah, the khawaarij, the Rawaafid (Shiites) and other than them. Fitnah does not occur except from them and as a result of them. Who murdered Uthmaan (may Allah be pleased with him)? Who murdered Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)? Who were the ones that ignited the fitnah between the Muslims thereafter? It was none else other than those people of desires. Who misled Al-Mamoon and those rulers who came after him to put Ahlus Sunnah to trial, until their Imaam Ahmad Bin Hanbal (may Allah have mercy upon him) was beaten and imprisoned? It was none else other than the people of desires. Who brought about the imprisonment of Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy upon him) until he died in prison? It was none else other than those people of desires! It is upon us to be cautious of these people because the end result of their fitnah leads to the splitting of the unity of the Muslims, rebellion against the Muslim rulers, and splitting the Jamaa’ahof the Muslims so that they become divergent groups and parties, which is the opposite of being one united Ummah. The Dangerous Consequences of Bloodshed

Allah [The Exalted] said:

And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace; Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [Surah Al-Furqaan. Aayaat 68-70]

Allah [The Most High] said:
وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا

And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein, and the Wrath and the Curse of Allah are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him. [Surah An-Nisaa. Aayah 93]

Ibn Abbaas [may Allaah be pleased with him and his father] reported that the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The one who was murdered will come with the scalp and head of his killer in his hand on the Day of Resurrection, his jugular vein flowing with blood and saying, ‘O Lord! This one killed me!’ And he will draw near to the Throne.” They (i.e. the people) mentioned repentance to Ibn Abbaas, so he recited the Aayah, [وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ – Whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell]; then he said, “This Aayah has not been abrogated or replaced, so where is his repentance?” [Saheeh Sunan At-Tirmidhee 3029]

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “And that which is established with fact regarding this matter is that murder is attached to (violation) of three rights: the right of Allaah, the right of the victim and the right of the heir. If the muderer voluntarily hands over himself to the heir, shows remorse for what he has done out of fear of Allaah and repents sincerely, then Allaah’s right is waivered through repentance. And heir’s right is that he can seek retaliation (i.e. via the Islamic sharee’ah), reconciliation or he (or she) can pardon. Then what remains is the victim’s right, (which) Allaah will recompense for him on the Day of Judgement from His servant who is a repentant person and a good-doer, and rectify affairs between them, so neither the right of the victim nor the repentance of the murderer is nullified”. [Jawaab Al-Kaafee. page 102]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:
مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا

If anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land – it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. [Surah Al-Maa’idah. Ayah 32]

Imaam As-Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: If a person is bold enough to kill someone who does not deserve to be killed, then this implies that he does make a distinction between the one He killed and other than him; rather he would commit this act whenever his evil calls him to that. Therefore, his bold attitude that led him to kill is as if he had killed all humankind. On the other hand, if a person saves a life and does not kill – whilst his soul calls him to do so – due to fear of Allaah, then this is as if he has saved the lives of all humankind because the fear of Allaah he possesses stops him killing one who does not deserve to be killed. [3]

Abdullah Bin Mas’ood [may Allaah be pleased with him] said that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The first (thing) that will be decided among people on the Day of Judgment will pertain to bloodshed”. [Saheeh Muslim. Hadeeth Number 1678a]

Imaam An-Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “This hadith shows the severeness of bloodshed and that it will be the first thing that will be judged between people on the Day of Resurrection because of its greatness and extreme danger. This hadith does not contradict the well-known hadith in the Sunan that “The first thing a person will be questioned about is the prayer”, because this hadeeth is about an affair between Allaah and the person, whereas the first hadeeth (i.e. judgement in matters related to bloodshed) is an affair between the people”. [Sharh Saheeh Muslim. Vol 11. page 139]

The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The termination of the world means less to Allah than the killing of a Muslim (i.e. without right)”. [Saheeh Al-Jaami 9208]

Amr Ibn Al-Hamiq [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Whenever a man promises safety for another man’s life and then kills him, I disavow myself from him even if the victim was an unbeliever”. [Saheeh Al-Jaami 6103]

Uqbah Ibn Aamir [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Whoever meets Allah whilst neither associating anything with Him nor spilling sacred blood will enter Paradise”. [Silsilah As-Saheehah 2923]

The people said to Jundub [may Allaah be pleased with him], “Advise us”. He said, “The first thing of the human body to putrefy is the abdomen, so he who can eat nothing but good food [halaal and earned lawfully] should do so, and he who does as much as he can that nothing intervenes between him and paradise by not shedding even a handful of blood [i.e. unlawful killing], should do so”. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari 7152]

A man wrote to Ibn Umar [may Allaah be pleased with him and his father] and asked him to write down all knowledge for him; so he replied to him, saying, “Indeed, knowledge is plentiful, but if you are able to meet Allaah whilst not shedding people’s blood, not taking their wealth (unlawfully) and violating their honour, then do so”. [Siyar A’laam An-Nubulaa 3/222]

Finally: It must be noted that there are Jews who openly distance themselves from the deeds of Zionists. Quote: “….it is important to note that not all Jews are involved in these intrigues and the Jews as a population have, throughout history, been subject to the whims and desires of their religious and political leaders, and have been made to undergo much persecution as a result”.
