The Sunnah Will Remain–Imaam Muqbil Bin Haadee (rahimahullaah)

Imaam Muqbil Bin Haadee (rahimahullaah) said:

Indeed Nad’dhaam, Abu Hudhayl and other than them amongst the enemies of the Sunnah have passed and the Sunnah of the Messenger (sallal-laahu alayhi-wasallam) has remained white and pure, and their mockery of it has not harmed it (i.e. the Sunnah).  And the contemporary enemies of the Sunnah will die and the Sunnah of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi- wa-alaa aalihee wasallam,) will remain; because Allaah has guaranteed its preservation. So He (The Most High) said:إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ— Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur’an) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption)’’ [15:9]

[Part 1] The Reality of Abu Eesaa Niamatullaah–A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing

All praise be to Allaah and may His Salaah and Salaam be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and companions.  To proceed:

Indeed, the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: ‘’Three things destroy: The greed that is obeyed, the desires that are followed and a person being amazed with his own opinion. [Silsilah Al-hadeeth as-saheehah: Number: 1802: 4/412-416]

Shaikh Raslaan (may Allaah preserve him) said:

This (i.e. these three affairs) are never in harmony with a (person’s) complete return to the command of the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) [For further details: See:  Ash-Shi-aaraat Wahdahaa Laa Takfee: page: 35].

The Shaikh also said:

Indeed the great religion of Islaam is founded upon knowledge and not ignorance; but when a person is amazed with himself and his opinion, and when splitting occurs in the Ummah in the big affairs of knowledge and every foolish one formulates his own independent judgement; there comes about an uncontrollable chaos and it then proceeds upon a path that has no halter, and then it becomes an affair of trial, corruption, confusion and deviation, and an affair in which truth is confounded with falsehood…[end of quote] [For further details see: Ash-Shi-aaraat Wahdahaa Laa Takfee: page:39 and footnote number 1]

This short article is a reminder to the salafi brothers and sisters in Manchester concerning the real state of affairs of Abu Eesaa Niqmatullaah.  This brother is well known to the Salafiyyoon at Al-Markaz As-Salafi (Cheethamhill–Manchester).  He is a deceiver and caller to some of the people of bidah and hizbiyyah.  His companionship with some of the people of bidah is well-known; rather he openly declares his allegiance to such people.  Although he may utter statements which the common people regard to be in harmony with the Manhaj of the Salaf, however this is all in contradiction to his real state of affairs.  Shaikh Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) said: ‘’The sensible person does not (merely) look at what is apparent, rather he looks at the reality.’’ [Al-Uboodiyyah]

The Reality of Abu Eesaa Niqmatullaah

Reader: After reading the following narrations of the Salaf, then visit the link below them to find out the reality of Abu Eesaa

Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) said:

‘’And Imaan is known about a man, just as all the states of his heart are known by way of his (outward) allegiances, enmities, his rejoicing, anger, hunger, thirst, and other such affairs.  For these matters have certain outward binding necessities [Lawaazim Dhaahirah] and the outward matters necessitate inward matters.  And this is a matter known, the people know this concerning the one that they have experienced and tested.  [Minhaajus Sunnah: 8/475][http://www.salafipublications.com/sp…articlePages=1]

Ibn Mas’ood (radiyallaahu-anhu) said:

Indeed a person walks alongside and accompanies the one whom he loves and who is like him.’’ [Al-Ibaanah: 2/2476] [http://www.salafipublications.com/sp…articlePages=1]

Imaam Al-Awzaa’ee (rahimahullaah) said:

Whoever hides his innovation from us will not be able to hide his companionship from us.’’ [Al-Ibaanah: 2/476][ http://www.salafipublications.com/sp…articlePages=1]

Al-Amash (rahimahullaah) said:

‘’They (salaf) did not used to ask anything more about a person after having asked about three affairs: Who he walks with, who he enter upon (i.e. visits) and who he associates with amongst the people.’’ [Al-Ibaanah:2/478][http://www.salafipublications.com/sp…articlePages=1]

Abdullaah Bin Mas’ood (radiyallaahu-anhu) said:

Make consideration of the (regions of the) earth by the names given to them and make consideration of a person by his companion.’’ [2/479][http://www.salafipublications.com/sp…articlePages=1]

Muhammad Bin Ubaid (rahimahullaah) said:

‘’The Ahlul Ahwaa (people of desires) hide everything except their intimate friendship and companionship.’’ [Al-Ibaanah: 2/482] [http://www.salafipublications.com/sp…articlePages=1]

Reader: Ponder again upon the words of Shaikh Raslaan:

But when a person is amazed with himself and his opinion, and when splitting occurs in the Ummah in the big affairs of knowledge and every foolish one formulates his own independent judgement; there comes about an uncontrollable chaos and it then proceeds upon a path that has no halter, and then it becomes an affair of trial, corruption, confusion and deviation, and an affair in which truth is confounded with falsehood…

Shaikh Khaalid Ad-Dhufayri Replies To A Doubt of the people of Innovation

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

A refutation of a doubt spread by the people of (religious) innovations who say: “Take the truth and leave the falsehood from the statements and the books of people of (religious) innovations!”

Sheikh Khâlid Dahwî Ad-Dufayrî refutes this doubt by saying:

“And from the means to be safe from tribulations is to keep away from the people of (religious) innovations, to be cautious of them and to warn against them. This is a salafi foundation stated by the people of knowledge and it has been indicated by the Qurân, the Sunnah and by the statements of the pious predecessors: the Companions, their successors and others.

The people of knowledge agree upon leaving people of (religious) innovations and keeping away from them and this consensus has been reported by many scholars.

They all agree upon keeping away from the people of (religious) innovations and not to read their books nor look into them, except for the one who[1] wants to refute them. As for the general people then they should not read nor listen to anything except from the people of knowledge and they should keep away from the people of desires; they listen to people of Sunnah and keep away from people of (religious) innovations and we do not utter that misguided and innovated rule which is: “Take the truth and leave the falsehood”.

There is no doubt that we have been commanded to take the truth and to leave the falsehood but we have not been commanded to seek the truth from the people of (religious) innovations and people of desires!

We take the truth from the pure sources and we take it from the place where there is neither doubt nor any (religious) innovation!

Our Salaf–Layth Ibn Sa’d and Imaam Shaafi’ee

Layth Ibn Sad (rahimahullaah) said: If I saw a man of innovation walking upon water, I (still) would not accept from him.  So Shaafi’ee (rahimahullaah) said: Indeed, he (layth) has fallen short (in his statement); if I saw him (i.e. a man of innovation) walking in the air, I (still) would not accept from him. Shaykh Abdullah al-Ghudayaan: Leave Halabi!!!

Questioner:

O’ Shaykh, we have preachers here in Algeria who recommended Alee Hasan Abdul-Hameed al-Halabee.

Shaykh Abdullah al-Ghudayaan:

“By Allah, I do not know. No, you should leave this Abdul-Hameed because he is the leader the madhab of al-Mur’jiaa in the Kingdom.”

Shaykh Fawzaan: These are all lies!

Questioner:

Is has been said O’ Shaykh that you have spoken about the matter of Irjaa and we have heard that the Permanent Committee have retrieved their criticism of the book by al-Halabee and ash-Shuk’ree. And it is said that al-Halabee come to visit the Committee and pointed the mistakes in their criticism. So is this true?”

Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan:

These are all lies. The Committee did not retrieve anything and by the permission of Allah, the Committee will never retreat from clarifying the truth and falsehood. Nobody came to visit the Committee. The Committee doesn’t ever retreat from the truth. It is he who should retreat from the falsehood and repent to Allah.

Students And Refutations – Shaikh Ahmad As-Subay’ee

Question: Shaikh, I have a question concerning the issue of refuting the one who has erred. Is it incumbent upon the student of knowledge or the well-grounded student of knowledge to refer back to the scholar or senior scholars before warning against a specific individual, hizbee group/organization or innovators (in general)? Does he have to refer back to the scholar before warning?

Answer: Shaikh Rabee’ (may Allah Preserve him) was asked about this and his answer can be found on Sahab (i.e. www.Sahab.net) and perhaps you know of it. So he was asked about this issue, and he answered it and his answer was correct. This issue is not one (meaning it’s not the same across the board and in every situation). There are issues that are obvious, clear, and apparent of which the student of knowledge could clarify if he has the ability to do so; so one aspect would be linked to one who’s disapproving and clarifying level of knowledge, another to his ability and another to his resolve to be patient upon enduring harms. Another consideration would be his contemplation on the specific positive and negative ramifications which would necessitate decisive and specific actions, statements and judgments. So contemplation on the benefits and harms which (would translate into) direct and decisive action (is required); this would be established by the refutation or the one making the refutation. Especially, if the issue is a knowledge-based issue that the people of knowledge have already spoken about. In this case, there would be nothing preventing (the student of knowledge from boycotting and warning). Boycotting and warning are taken from the Islaamic legislation (i.e. from the Sharee’ah). [end of quote]

The following is a question raised to our noble shaikh Ahmad an-Najmy رحمه الله concerning the role students of knowledge play in clarifying the truth:

“Therefore, it is binding upon the students of knowledge – the people of understanding – the ones who know the salafi methodology, and they know concerning the other methodologies, it is binding upon them to clarify to others, and that they state and speak and deliver sermons (khutba) and that they clarify in every situation and at every suitable opportunity the truth, the truth which is binding to be followed and the falsehood that is binding to be abandoned and avoided. As for those who are silent upon clarifying the truth to the people then they are not excused due to their silence and even if they say “we are not with them” (i.e the hizbiyyoon, as is apparent upon reading the text of the full question which relates to the groups). So they are not excused even if they say “we are not with the people of these misguided groups from the truth, except that they reject and rebut that which they (the misguided groups) are upon in terms of misguidance)”.
