The two selfless souls

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

رَّبِّ ٱرْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِى صَغِيرًا

My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small. [Al-Israa 24]

Whenever we faced disappointment and found no one to comfort us, they were the first to offer us solutions and support.

No matter the distance or how heavy the burden was, they responded with joy, love and compassion.

Losing them has been very difficult – the heart remains forever attached to them.

Our dear parents who have preceded us to the afterlife, we will never forget you for as long as this heart continues to beat.

When we write about you, the thoughts regarding those two selfless souls cannot be expressed.

Our tongues can never become tired of repeating supplications for you. Even if others forget you, we never will.

Since the day you left, thinking about your love and compassion causes tears to flow abundantly during our moments of solitude.

However, our belief in Allah and in the Last Day is what gives us patience.

We ask our Lord to admit you into His vast Paradise and to bring comfort to our eyes by allowing us to be reunited with you there. Amin
