Brief Biography of Shaikh Zayd Makes One Wonder What Has Entered Hearts of Youtube Sermonizers And Those Afflicted With Self-amazement!

He is the scholar, the faqeeh, Al-Allaamah Abu Muhammad Zayd Ibn Muhammad Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali (rahimahullaah).  He is from the well-known Madaakhilah Tribe in the region of Jaazaan (the south of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). He was born in 1357AH [1938].  He grew up in his home town in the presence of his parents.  His mother died when he was 7 years old and she was well-known for being upright and ardent in following the religion.  His father died when he was 30 years old.

Shaikh Zayd (rahimahullaah) started seeking knowledge from an early age and used to be accompanied and encouraged to do so by his relative Shaikh Ahmad Bin Ahmad Aloosh Al-Madkhali (rahimahullaah).  He joined the circles of learning in his home town—he learnt hand writing, reading, Tawheed, Tajweed, recitation of the Qur’aan and started memorization.  He memorized Soorah Baqarah, Soorah Aal Imraan and some of the Mufassal Sooras.

Thereafter, he started his studies in (Rakoobah-Saudi Arabia) and at the time he was nearly seven years old. Then he lived in (Daghaareer—Saudi Arabia), and then he moved to Saamitah to join the Az-Zaahirah Madrasah Salafiyyah over there, which was founded by the Imaam and Mujaddid Abdullaah Ibn Muhammad Al-Qar’aawi (rahimahullaah), in the house of the esteemed Shaikh Naaser Khuloofah (rahimahullaah).  Shaikh Abdullaah Al-Qar’aawi used to dessiminate knowledge to the students in this Madrasah and he used to teach [كتاب التوحيد; بلوغ المرام;   الفرائض;  تجويد;  نحو; and  صرف ]

In the year 1368, Shaikh Zayd (rahimahullaah) met Shaikh Haafidh Al-Hakami  (rahimahullaah) in the city of (Baish—Saudi Arabia). He (rahimahullaah) alongside other students read some of the books of knowledge and studied under Shaikh Haafidh Al-Hakami (rahimahullaah).

He (rahimahullaah) stayed with Shaikh Haafidh Al-Hakami (rahimahullaah) for three months and acquired knowledge from him.  Then he returned to the Madrasah Salafiyyah (in Saamitah) and took up the responsibility of teaching some of the students over there, and he held study circles in the town in which the Madrasah was.   Then he was appointed as a teacher in the town of Rakoobah in the year 1372 at the age of fifteen, and thereafter he was appointed a head teacher.

And when a new institute was opened by the state in Saamitah, in the year 1374, he sought the advice of the two virtuous Shaikhs Abdullaah Al-Qar’aawi and Haafidh Al-Hakami and started studying in the institute in 1375.  He graduated from the institute between 1379-1380.  He studied under various noble scholars whilst enrolled at the institute and studied a number of sciences.

Then he joined Muhammad Bin Saud University (Faculty of Sharia) for two years, and in the second year he completed memorizing the Qur’aan. He was then appointed to teach at the institute of knowledge before graduating. He was also the head teacher of the Institute at the time of Shaykh Mohammed bin Ahmed Hakami (rahimahullaah). Shaikh Zayd (rahimahullaah) carried on as a teacher as well as a participant in educational affairs for 35 years until he reached the age of retirement in the year 1417AH.   The Shaikh was known for his Zuhd, pre-occupation with teaching and spreading knowledge.

We ask Allaah (The Most Merciful) to grant Al-Allaamah Zayd Bin Haadi a place in paradise and benefit the Ummah with the knowledge he has left behind.  And we ask Allaah to preserve Ahlus Sunnah and its scholars, and make them a means of guidance for the people. Aameen. [Ref 1]

May Allaah Bless Everyone – Those Who Have Travelled to Shaikh Khaalid Adh-Dhufairi And Those Who Continue to Benefit From The Certified Students In The Various Maraakiz

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

All praise is due to Allaah and may Allaah bless all of us with the ability to act sincerely even if what we know is very little, for indeed the purpose behind knowledge is to act. Indeed, may Allaah bless all the brothers – those who have travelled to benefit from Shaikh Khaalid Dhufairi [hafidhahullaah] and those who are still benefiting from the study circles of the teachers in the various UK Maraakiz, America, Canada etc

There are brothers at Al-Markazus Salafi who travel to study circles elsewhere solely based on their own personal preference [Ref A], but the majority stay in their city. There are brothers whose busy schedule in the Salafi institutions – Bookstores, Secondary and Primary Schools as well as family commitments – prevents them from attending study circles every single day, even in a place like Birmingham where there are Duroos throughout the week. [Ref B]

And there are brothers who are able to travel to more than one city – on different days – to benefit. So, we ask Allaah to bless all of us with sincerity and righteous deeds, grant us Barakah in our time schedules so that we can attend more duroos – in the gatherings of Ahlus Sunnah.

And if Allaah blesses any of us with the finances and right circumstances, then indeed we should not hesitate to travel to Shaikh Khaalid Adh-Dhufairi [hafidhahullaah] and encourage others to join us. Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadi [hafidhahullaah] said: Allaah [The Most High] said: [فَلَوْلَا نَفَرَ مِن كُلِّ فِرْقَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ طَائِفَةٌ لِّيَتَفَقَّهُوا فِي الدِّينِ وَلِيُنذِرُوا قَوْمَهُمْ إِذَا رَجَعُوا إِلَيْهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَحْذَرُونَ – Of every troop of them, a party only should go forth, that they (who are left behind) may get instructions in (Islamic) religion, and that they may warn their people when they return to them, so that they may beware (of evil)]. [Surah at-Tawbah’ Aayah 122]

This Aayah has been explained in two ways, the first meaning is that not all the people should go forth [i.e. travel] to seek knowledge, otherwise everyone will abandon the beneficial [necessities] of the worldly life. Therefore, a group is to preoccupy themselves with the beneficial [necessities] of the worldly life and another group goes forth [i.e. travel] to seek knowledge, then they return to their people to teach them what they have learnt from the religion of Allaah- knowledge of the divine revelation which Muhammad [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] was sent with.

It has been transmitted in a hadeeth reported by Maalik Ibn Huwayrith that a group amongst his people went to the Prophet [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] and stayed with him for twenty days and nights…hadeeth as follows: Narrated Maalik [radiyallaahu-anhu]: we came to the Prophet [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] and stayed with him for twenty days and nights. We were all young and of about the same age.

The Prophet [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] was very kind and merciful. When he realised our longing for our families, he asked about our homes and the people there, and we told him. Then he asked us to go back to our families and stay with them and teach them [the religion and to order them to do good things…. [Saheeh al-Bukhaari’ Number 631] [Ref 1] [End of quote]

At present, brothers from different places are with Shaikh Khaalid Adh-Dhufairi [hafidhahullaah], and indeed a brother from Manchester in particular informed us of the excellent manners and humility of the Shaikh alongside his beneficial gatherings. So may Allaah return these brothers to Kuwait many more times and grant us all the Tawfeeq to join them Aameen.  Finally, we ask Allaah to grant us Tawfeeq to continue benefiting from the study circles of the students in the various UK Maraakiz, just as Shaikh Rabee [hafidhahullaah] said, “The entire life of a person is to be spent in seeking knowledge – from the cradle to the grave.  He does not feel proud to acquire truth from a young or older person, and he never rejects truth – whether it is stated by a Muslim or Unbeliever. His soul seeks after the truth, so if he finds a text from the Book of Allaah and the [authentic] Sunnah of the Messenger [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam], then all praises and thanks be to Allaah; but if he does not have it and finds it with someone else, he accepts it”. [Ref 2] [End of quote]

Ref A: Elaboration:

Shaikh Uthaymeen [rahimahullaah] stated above that one should firmly cling to the book he is reading or revising, and should firmly cling to the Shuyookh he learns from in person. Do not be a Dhawwaaq [i.e. one who quickly acquires a taste of this or that and moves on to another thing without accomplishing anything properly]- alternating to a new Shaikh every week and every month; rather determine -first and foremost- who to take knowledge from in person, then firmly cling to him after you have decided. However, you can have different Shaikhs from whom you acquire different subject matters, for example you have a Shaikh who teaches you Fiqh and you carry on being consistent in your studies; another Shaikh who teaches you Arabic Grammar and you carry on being consistent in your studies; a Shaikh in Aqeedah and you carry on being consistent in studying Aqeedah and Tawheed. The most important thing is consistency and that you refrain from quickly acquiring a taste of this or that topic without accomplishing anything properly- like that man who is a serial divorcee, for whenever he gets married and stays with the wife for seven days, he divorces her and then moves on to another woman. So, he remains for a prolonged period in his life whilst neither enjoying [a fruitful, close, intimate relationship etc] with a wife nor having children in most cases. [Paraphrased. Sharh Hilyati Taalibil Ilm’ page 75]

Elaboration On Ref B

Umar Ibnul Khattaab [radiyallaahu-anhu] said: “Acquire knowledge early before you become [leaders, old in age etc]”.

This does not mean that an old person abandons learning, rather what is intended is that one should learn when he is young before old age, because old age can be an obstacle to learning due to one being shy of sitting in the gatherings of knowledge. [Abu Abdillaah] said: “The Companions of the Prophet [radiyallaahu-anhum] studied despite the fact that they were old in age”. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari. Chapter 15: (Wish to be like the one who has knowledge and Wisdom] and more details in Fat-hul Baari]

Therefore, we should all strive to sit with the youth in the study circles and may Allaah grant us more time Aameen.

Allaahul Musta’aan! We used to have a lot of time and attended at least 3 Duroos a week, but at present commitments in the Salafi primary and secondly schools occupy most of our time and we can only attend one Dars a week – Ustaadh Abu Khadeejah’s Dars on Thursdays. Anyone who is a teacher knows the time needed for planning lessons, marking, assessing, preparing resources etc.. One might ask, “How do you find time to spend on this website but not attend more Duroos?” The answer is: All articles are prepared during weekends and scheduled for posting during the week. As for during the week all our time is focused on teaching, assessing, marking and planning – from 12pm to 7pm. And obviously one has to give time to wife and children during weekends. This is the case with many teachers in primary and secondary schools, and Salafi tuition centres. We ask Allaah to grant us more time Aameen.

Supplicate For Your Brother to Be Blessed Instead of Wishing That He Loses The Blessing He is Given!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [hafidhahullaah] said:

Supplicate for your brother to be blessed. Supplicate for him to be blessed instead of wishing that the blessing he is given should cease to exist. Supplicate for him that the blessing he is given should remain and that Allaah blesses him with it. This [supplication of yours for your brother] will not harm you, rather it something through which Allaah will benefit you. Envy is cured with the likes of these deeds.

Also that which will cure the disease of envy is that you seek after provision and employ the means of earning a livelihood. As for sitting (about idly) and being lazy, whilst envying those who earn through seeking after provision – envying them for that which Allaah has bestowed on them of His bounties- then you are to be blamed. You are the one who has fallen short; you are the one who has abandoned the means to earning a livelihood and the one with a self-inflicted laziness; therefore you should blame yourself, let alone envy people for what Allaah has given them of His bounties.

Envy can lead to disbelief just as it led Iblees to disbelief; it can lead to committing murder just as it led Haabil to murder his brother Qaabil. Allaah narrated this story to us in order that we may ponder upon it; take warning from it and be warned against envy.

Envy can lead a person to oppose Allaah [Glorified and Exalted Be He]- opposing His Divine Will and Decree – that Allaah is not All-Wise,  Fully-Aware and All-Knowing because he gave someone who is not worthy to be given or punishes someone who is not worthy to be punished. This (belief) is tantamount to disbelief in Allaah’s Divine Will and Decree. Envy is a harmful disease, so seek Allaah’s Refuge against envy. In a hadeeth transmitted by Imaam Ahmad and Imaam Tirmidhee, it is stated: “Envy consumes good deeds just as fire burns wood’’. Therefore, be warned lest your rewards and righteous deeds are consumed due to envy. Seek Allaah’s Refuge against envy and ask Allaah to give you from His bounties; love good for your brothers and supplicate for them to be blessed. All the bounty is in the Hand of Allah; He grants to whom He wills. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, the All-Knower. Therefore, do not oppose Allaah and thus your deeds are nullified whilst you are unaware of that. [Paraphrased: Listen to audio here:

Is It Necessary to Mention The Names of The Deviants When Refuting?!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Question to Al-‘Allâmah Ahmad bin Yahyā An-Najmī (rahimahullaah): This question states: What is your view of the one who warns against bid’ah and innovators in general but does not hold that names are to be mentioned?

Answer: When something happened the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) used to say: “What is wrong with a people (who did or say such and such)?! This is correct; but is this said about the leaders of misguidance – those who call the people to affairs of misguidance and the people are put to trial through them; is this said about them? No, these ones must be mentioned; they must be made known and they must be known, so that the people are cautious about them. As for us keeping quiet about them and saying: “No, we do not mention their names; we neither say Sayyid Qutb nor Hasan al-Banna, neither such and such person nor such and such person”; then with respect to the one who utters this statement, for example: If we were to warn against the people of bid’ah, who will be able to say that it is other than these people….these (people) are the leaders of ahlul bid’ah.

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [hafidhahullaah] said: The principle related to this [i.e. mentioning names] is about warning against mistakes and deviation, after identifying it as such. If the affair requires making known the name of an individual among the obstinate opponents so that beguilement does not occur through their [affair] – especially those individuals with deviated views or deviation in behavior and methodology, and they are well known among the people and the people have a good opinion of them- then there is no harm in mentioning them by their names and their methodology warned against.

The scholars carry out research in the science of Jarh Wat-Tadeel [criticism and praise] and then mention the narrators and the reproach stated against them. This is not [done] for the purpose of personal [criticism]; rather it is [done] for the purpose to giving advice to the Ummah in case they come across affairs from these individuals that are harmful to the Religion or lies against the Messenger [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam].

Therefore, first and foremost, this principle is about warning against mistakes. However, the one who committed such mistake(s) is not to be mentioned if that would either lead to greater harm or if there is no benefit in mentioning him. However, if the affair requires that his name be made known for the purpose of warning the people against his methodology, then this is [considered] to be sincerity to Allaah, His Book, His Messenger, to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk, especially if he [i.e. the one warned against] is active within the people and they have a good opinion of him, and acquire his books and tapes. Then there has to be clarification and the people must be warned, because [employing] silence will be harmful to the people. His affair has to be unveiled, but not for the purpose of defamation or following one’s desires [in that]; rather it has to be [done] for the purpose of sincerity to Allaah, His Book, His Messenger, the leaders of the Muslims and their common people. Family: [The Number of Children We Want, Giving The Wife a Break to Recover Properly Before The Birth of Another Child etc] – By Shaikh Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [rahimahullaah] was asked about a husband and a wife who agreed not to have children and whether this is allowed:

The Shaikh [rahimahullaah] responded saying that this agreement of theirs is not permissible. As long as the woman is able [to bear children], then it is not permissible for them to do this because the Islamic legislation requires that the people give concern to bearing children and make the Ummah numerous. The Prophet [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] said: Marry the childbearing, loving woman for I shall outnumber the peoples by you on the Day of Resurrection. In another wording [of this narration the Prophet said]: Outnumber [i.e. the followers of the other] Prophets on the Day of Judgement.” That is because by way of this [i.e. having many children] those who worship Allaah among the Muslims will be numerous, the Ummah will be numerous and strong in opposing their enemies.

It is not permissible for a man to abandon having children out of fear of either tiredness in seeking after a livelihood or due to difficulty, or due to expenditure, or due to a desire to enjoy one’s wife and other than that. It also not permissible for a woman to do this, rather it is obligated on both of them to pursue the means of having offspring -be eager to seek the means to having children so that the Ummah becomes numerous and to fulfil what the Prophet [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] stated.

However, if the woman either suffers a lot of pain due to an illness of the womb or she cannot give birth except by way of surgical operation, then this is an excuse to not have children. If the surgical operation [or caesarean] will harm her- it is feared that something will happen to her, and also if the children are many- born at close intervals and bringing them up becomes difficult upon her, then there is nothing to prevent her from taking some pills [or contraception] or some preventative measures for a year or two – the period of breastfeeding- so that she becomes strong enough to nurture the children and able to nurture the other newly born. Audio link with transcript http://www.binbaz.org.sa/noor/11853

An Obstacle to Knowledge: [When The Young Ones Overstate Their Status And Cut Off People From The Scholars]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

One of the obstacles that prevents people from knowledge is [when they] turn to the knowledge of the Asaaghir [the small ones] – and Allaah’s refuge is sought. And from the [minor] signs of the hour [i.e. the day of judgement] is that knowledge will be acquired from the young in age, who learn very little and thus considers himself an Aalim!

This person is young and a Miskeen [i.e. one lacking strength in the field of knowledge], but considers himself as one who has reached the highest level; so the ignoramuses come to him, gather around him and cut off from the scholars – and Allaah’s refuge is sought. This is one of the [minor] signs and portents of the hour, when the people abandon the senior scholars and embark upon acquiring knowledge from the ignorant young ones – those who pretend to be scholars. This is a calamity. Ibn Mas’ood [radiyallaahu-anhu] said: “The people will not cease to be upon good as long as they acquire knowledge from their elders, trustworthy ones and scholars.”

Contemplate on this statement, “And if they acquire knowledge from their young ones, they will be destroyed.” This is one of the obstacles and barriers to acquiring knowledge. It may be that some people desire knowledge, but he [i.e. an individual] becomes deceived by that young person and considers him to be the most knowledgeable of people. And had he gone to other than that young person, he would find that it is obligated on that young person to seek knowledge together with him, and sit down in the presence of the scholars. [Marhaban Yaa Taalibal Ilm’ – pages 227 – 228. slightly paraphrased].

Plotted to Spread Kufr and Shirk In Egypt Through Wealth and Education- [A Foiled Plan of Khumeini’s Party – (The Shia Raafidah of Iran)]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The following article is an excerpt and paraphrase from a tremendous advice given by Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah protect him and prolong his life upon goodness] to the people of Misr [Egypt]

To proceed: Recently Iran requested Cairo to send 20,000 Egyptian students to study in Tehran under the sponsorship of the Iranian government; O people of Misr (Egypt)-the government and the citizens! Do you know the goal behind this generous Iranian offer to receive twenty-thousand Egyptian students under the sponsorship of its government? The purpose of this offer is to convert this huge number into a dangerous raafidi army that will wage war against Misr [Egypt] in order to convert it into a raafidi state and society. This is an affair understood by even the one who has the least acquaintance with Khomeini’s plans and the eagerness of the raafidi revolutionaries-those abominable plans to take over the Muslim world and convert it into a raafidi (shiite) world. Its activities in Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and other countries [is nothing else], but for the purpose of implementing this raafidi goal.

Indeed, the successful one is that one who learns a lesson from what has happened to others! -Do you want Misr (Egypt) to be converted to a stronghold of the strongholds of Shiites- declaring the noble companions of the Prophet [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] to be disbelievers and falsely accusing them of hearsay? Do want Misr (Egypt) to be converted into a stronghold of the strongholds of Shiites-declaring Ahlus Sunnah and their former and later Imaams to be disbelievers? Do you want Misr [Egypt] to be from the rawaafid [shiites of Iran and others]-those who deify humans, so that they believe that the Imaams have mastery over everything of an atom’s weight in the existence? This is a type of ruthless disbelief and heinous polytheism which is even disdained by the Jews, Christians and the idol worshippers. The idol worshippers were asked who the creator of the heavens and the earth is; so they said: ‘’It is Allaah who created them.’’ And they were asked who the controller of the affairs of the creation is; so they said: ‘’Allaah is the controller of the affairs.’’ As for the raafidah (shiites of Iran and others), they say that their Imaams have control over everything of atom’s weight in the existence.

Here are some of their beliefs and views towards Ahlus Sunnah by the testimony of one who was affiliated to them and was from their scholars Sayyid Husain Al-Moosawee in his Book titled: Lil-laahi Thumma Li At-Taareekh page:83-92]- The author who left the shiite (raafidi) cult of disbelief and polytheism. He wrote: When we look into our important books, the statements of our jurists and those scholars who strive to reach verdicts, we find that Ahlus Sunnah are the only enemy of the shiite, and for this reason they give them descriptions and call them names. They call Ahlus Sunnah Nawaasib (i.e. those who hate Ali and the family of the Prophet). The creed of the shiite community (i.e. the rawaafid of Iran etc.) has not ceased to be that every individual amongst Ahlus Sunnah is degraded through his/her anus. When a shiite (raafidi) insults another shiite and wishes to be extremely harsh in insulting him, he says to him: ”Sunni bones in your father’s grave.” This is because of their view that the Sunni is impure to a degree that if he/she were to bath a thousand times the impurity will still not leave him/her. This is the creed of all the (rawaafid) shiite and indeed our jurists compare the Sunni to a disbeliever, a polytheist and a pig, and they declare the Sunni an impurity from the types of impurities.

And because of this shiites hold that it is obligatory to differ with Ahlus Sunnah. Sudooq narrated from Ali Bin Asbaat who said: I said to Ridaa,”The affair has become that I cannot find anyone with his understanding and there is none amongst your allies in the country I am living who can give me a verdict? So he said: Go to the jurist of the land and seek a verdict from him; and if he gives you a verdict, then adopt its opposite because that is where the truth lies. [Uyoon Akhbaarul Ridaa 1/275 Tehran]

Sayyid Nimatullaahi Al-Jazaa-iree said: Indeed, we do not unite with them (i.e. Ahlus Sunnah)—neither upon a god and a prophet nor an Imaam, and that is because they (Ahlus Sunnah) say that their Lord is the One whose Prophet Muhammad was succeeded as Khaleefah by Abu Bakr. We (i.e. shiites rawaafid) neither speak about this Lord nor this Prophet; rather we say: Our Lord is not the one Whose Prophet was succeeded by Abu-Bakr as Khaleefah nor is that our Prophet. [Al-Anwaar Al-Jazaa-iriyyah 2/278]

Indeed, the hatred harbored by the shiite (rawaafid) towards Ahlus Sunnah neither started today nor is it specified to particular eras, rather it is a profound hatred harbored towards Ahlus Sunnah of the first generation-they hate all the Sahaabah besides Abu Dhar, Miqdaad and Salmaan. And for this reason kulaynee reported from Abu Jafar who said: ”All the people became apostates after the death of the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) except three people, namely: Al-Miqdaad Bin Al-Aswad, Salmaan Al-Faarisee and Abu Dhar Al-Ghiffaaree.” [Rawdatul Kaafee 8/46]

If we were to ask the Jews: ”who are the most virtuous people in your religion? They will say: ”Indeed, they are those who accompanied Moosaa (alayhis-salaam).” And if we were to ask the Christians: ”Who are the most virtuous people in your religion?” They will say: ”Indeed, it is those who aided Eesaa (alayhis-salaam).” And if we were to ask the shiites (rawaafid), ”who are the most evil people in your view and creed?” They will say: ”Indeed, it is the companions of Muhammad (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam).”

Indeed, the companions of Muhammad are mostly the ones who receive the most insults and curses of the shiite (rawaafid), particularly Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthmaan, and the two wives of the Prophet Aaisha and Hafsah. And for this reason it is found in a supplication of theirs called the supplication against the two idols of Quraish: ”O Allaah! Curse the two idols of Quraish Abu Bakr and Umar and their two Jibt and Taaghoot and two daughters [Aaisha and Hafsah]. [Note: Jibt and Taaghoot means false deities, satan, graves, stones, the sun, magicians, soothsayers or anything worshipped besides Allaah]. This supplication of the shiite (rawaafid) is recorded in their important books and khumeini used to supplicate with it every day after the Morning Prayer.

In the Iranian city of Kashan at a place called [باغي فين] [Baghi Fain] the shiite (rawaafid) visit a scene in which there is a tomb dedicated to Abu Lulu’a the (magian) murderer of the rightly guided khaleefah Umar Ibnul Khattaab (radiyallaahu-anhu). And on the walls of this tomb is written in Persian: ‘Death to Abu-Bakr; Death to Umar; Death to Uthmaan.’ This scene is visited by the Iranians and during their visit they give wealth and donations. I have seen this scene myself and the Iranian Ministry of guidance initiated its expansion and renovation.

Kulayni narrated from Abu Jafar who said: ”Indeed the two Shaikhs Abu-Bakr and Umar left this world and did not say what they did to the leader of the believers; so upon them is the curse of Allaah, the angels and all of mankind.” [Rawdatul kaafi 8/246]

Kulayni narrated:”Indeed all the people are children of fornication except those from our sect.” [Ar-rawdah 8/135]

The shiite (rawaafid) hold that Ahlus Sunnah are disbelievers and are worse than the Yahood and Nasaaraa. They hold that Ahlus Sunnah are children of prostitutes and it is obligatory to curse them, especially the first generation of Muslims [i.e. the companions of the Prophet (salal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) whom Allaah (The Most High) praised in the noble Qur’aan. The companions accompanied the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) in his call to Islaam and during his battles, and this participation of theirs is a proof of their truthfulness and sincerity.

Why Are The Gatherings Where Allaah Is Remembered Considered to Be The Purest, Noblest, Most Beneficial And Loftiest Gatherings

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The purest, noblest, most beneficial and loftiest gatherings are the gatherings  where Allaah is remembered. They are the loftiest in the sight of Allaah. Many texts have been reported regarding the virtues of the gatherings of Dhikr- that they give life to heart [i.e. obedience to Allaah and the Messenger], increase Eemaan, rectification and purification for a person, unlike the gatherings of heedlessness because a person does not retire from them except [being afflicted by] a decrease in Eemaan and weakness in the heart, and that will be a cause of loss and regret [on the day of judgement].

The Salaf [pious predecessors] used to give great importance to the gatherings of Dhikr. Abdullaah Bin Rawaahah [radiyallaahu anhu] used to hold a group of his companions by the hand and say: ‘’Come let us [re-revitalise, strengthen etc] our Eemaan; come let us remember Allaah and increase in Eemaan by obeying Allaah, so that perhaps He will remember us by way of His forgiveness.’’

Umayr Al-Khatamiy [radiyallaahu anhu] used to say, “Eemaan increases and decreases”, so he was asked, ‘’What increases and decreases it?’’ He said, ‘’When we remember Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic], praise and glorify Him, that is [a cause] of its increase; and when we are heedless, negligent and  forgetful, that is [a cause] of its decrease.’’

Indeed, the gatherings of Dhikr are the gardens of paradise in this worldly life. Imaam Ahmad, Imaam Tirmidhee and others have reported from Anas Bin Maalik [radiyallaahu anhu] that Allaah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] said, ‘’When you go past the gatherings of Paradise, then graze as you like.” They said, “What are the gardens of Paradise?” He said, “The Circles of Dhikr.”

Ibn Abee Dunyaa, Al-Haakim and others reported the Hadeeth of Jaabir Bin Abdillaah who said, ‘’Allaah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] came to us and said, ‘O people! Graze in the gardens of paradise’; we said, ‘O Allaah’s Messenger! What are the gardens of paradise?’ He said, ‘The gatherings of Dhikr.’’’

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [rahimahullaah] said, “Whoever wants a to live in the gardens of paradise in this worldly life, then let him stay in the gatherings of Dhikr, for indeed they are gardens of paradise.’’ [Al-Waabilus Sayyib. page 145]

The gatherings of Dhikr are the gatherings of the angels, because they do not have gatherings in the worldly life except gatherings in which Allaah [The Exalted] is mentioned. Abu Hurairah [radiyallaahu anhu] said that Allaah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] said:  Allaah’s Messenger said, ‘’Allaah has some angels who look for those who remember (glorify the Praises of) Allaah on the roads and paths. And when they find some people remembering (glorifying the Praises of) Allah, they call each other, saying, ‘Come to the object of your pursuit.’’ He added, ‘’Then the angels encircle them with their wings up to the nearest heaven to us.’’ He added, ‘’[After those people remembered (glorified the Praises of) Allah, and the angels go back to Allah], their Lord asks them (those angels) – though He knows better than them –‘What do My slaves say?’ The angels reply, ‘They say: Subhãn Allah, Allahu-Akbar, and Al-Hamdu-lillãh’. Allah then says, ‘Did they see Me?’ The angels reply, ‘No! By Allaah, they didn’t see You.’ Allah says, ‘How it would have been if they saw me?’ The angels reply, ‘If they saw You, they would worship You more devoutly and remember You (glorify Your Praises) more deeply, and declare Your freedom from any resemblance to anything more often.’ Allah says (to the angels), ‘What do they ask Me for?’ The angels reply, ‘They ask You for Paradise.’ Allah says (to the angels), ‘Did they see it?’ The angels say, ‘No! By Allah, O Lord! They did not see it.’ Allah says, ‘How it would have been if they saw it?’ The angels say, ‘If they saw it, they would have greater yearning for it and would seek it with greater zeal and would have greater desire for it.’ Allah says, ‘From what do they seek refuge?’ The angels reply, ‘They seek refuge from the (Hell) Fire.’ Allah says, ‘Did they see it?’ The angels say, ‘No! By Allah, O Lord! They did not see it.’ Allah says, ‘How it would have been if they saw it?’ The angels say, ‘If they saw it they would flee from it with the extreme fleeing and would have extreme fear from it.’ Then Allah says, ‘I make you witnesses that I have forgiven them.’’’ (Allah’s Messenger ; added:) ‘’One of the angels would say, ‘There was so-and-so amongst them, and he was not one of them, but he had just come for some need.’ Allah would say, ‘These are those people whose companions will not be reduced to misery.’’’ [Bukhaari 6408]

The gatherings of Dhikr are gatherings of the angels and gatherings of heedlessness are gatherings of the devils. The gatherings of Dhikr protect a person from loss and regret on the day of judgement, unlike the gatherings of heedlessness, for ìndeed they will be a cause of loss and regret on the day of judgement. Abu Daawud reported -with a ‘Hasan chain’ of transmission- from Abu Hurairah [radiyallaahu anhu] who said that Allaah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] said: ‘’The Prophet [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] said: If anyone sits at a place where he does not remember Allah, deprivation [i.e. he’ll be deprived of reward] will descend on him from Allah; and if he lies at a place where he does not remember Allah, deprivation will descend on him from Allah.’’ [Abu Daawud. Number 4856]

Abu Sa’id Khudri reported that Mu’awiya went to a circle in the mosque and said: ‘’What makes you sit here? They said: ‘We are sitting here in order to remember Allah.’ He said: ‘I adjure you by Allah (to tell me whether you are sitting here for this very purpose)?’ They said: ‘By Allah, we are sitting here for this very purpose’. Thereupon, he said: ‘I have not demanded you to take an oath, because of any allegation against you and there is none of my rank -in the eyes of Allah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam]- a narrator of so few ahadith as I am. The fact is that Allah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] went out to the circle of his Companions and said: ‘What makes you sit?’ They said: ‘We are sitting here in order to remember Allah and to praise Him for He guided us to the path of Islam and He conferred favours upon us.’ Thereupon he adjured by Allah and asked if that only was the purpose of their sitting there. They said: ‘By Allah, we are not sitting here but for this very purpose’, whereupon he (the Messenger) said: ‘I am not asking you to take an oath because of any allegation against you but for the fact that Gabriel came to me and he informed me that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, was talking to the angels about your magnificence.”  This is [one of the proofs] regarding the nobility of Dhikr in the sight of Allaah. Allaah loves it and it has status that distinguishes it from other acts of worship.

The gatherings of Dhikr bring about tranquillity, mercy and the angel encircle with their wings around those who remember Allaah. Agharr Abi Muslim reported: ‘’I bear witness to the fact that both Abu Huraira and Abu Sa’id Khudri were present when Allah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] said: ‘The people do not sit but they are surrounded by angels and covered by Mercy, and there descends upon them tranquillity as they remember Allah, and Allah makes a mention of them to those who are near Him.’’’ [Muslim Number: 2700]

The gatherings of Dhikr are a great means of restraining one’s tongue,  protecting it from backbiting, tale carrying, lies, lewd speech and falsehood, for indeed it is inevitable that a person will speak, so if he does not speak through remembrance of Allaah- by mentioning Allaah’s commandments and about something good and beneficial, then it is inevitable that he will speak about forbidden things or some of them. Therefore, whoever makes it a habit for his tongue to remember Allaah, he will protect his tongue from falsehood and idle speech. And whoever deprive his tongue of remembrance of Allaah, he will utter falsehood, idle speech and lewdness. [Source: Excerpt from ‘Fiqhul Ad-iyah Wal-Ad-kaar.’ Pages 27-31. Slightly paraphrased]

Leaving The Correct Path Occurs In Two Ways

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Imaam Barbahaaree [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: “Know that leaving the correct path occurs in two ways. Firstly: that a man strays from the correct path intending nothing but good, so his error is not to be followed since it leads to destruction. Secondly, a man who deliberately opposes the truth and acts contrary to the Pious ones who came before him, he is astray, leading others astray, a rebellious devil within the Ummah. It is a duty upon those who know of him to warn the people against him and to explain his condition to them so that no one falls into his innovation and is destroyed”.

Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] commented on the above statement of Imaam Barbahaaree [may Allaah have mercy upon him] saying: After the Shaikh [i.e. Imaam Barbahaaree] described the correct path in his previous statement-the correct path that is obligated on the Muslim to follow in his Aqeedah and Religion- he then mentioned that the one who leaves the correct path is one of two men: The First Man: Is the one who leaves the [correct path] without the intention [to do so], rather he intended good but followed other than the path of good. Striving [alone] is not sufficient, and even if the person has a righteous intention and a good aim, then that has to be upon the correct path. Therefore, this [person] is considered mistaken and whoever agrees with him upon that and follows with him upon error will be destroyed; because this is a path of destruction even though the [person] did not intend leaving [the correct path]; rather his quest was [to reach something] good. This is the state of many of those who initiate newly invented affairs -from themselves – in the knowledge of Aqeedah (Creed). This affair is not permissible and they should not adhere to it. The person [upon this path] is not upon correctness. Allah [The Mighty and Majestic] said:

[ وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ – And verily, this is my Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path]. [6:153]

So we reject any path that exits us from the Straight Path even if the one who [calls] to it aims for good and has a good intention. We do not follow him upon that whilst he continues upon his error, eventually leading to destruction; because whoever abandons the correct path in his journey and takes a path of ruin will be destroyed.

As For The Second Person: It is the one who intends to leave [the correct path]. He knows the truth and that what he embarks upon is falsehood, but he intends to leave the truth with the intention of misguiding the people. So the intention of the first [person] is to bring about benefit for the people, but he did not follow the correct path. The second [person] intended to misguide the people and to turn them away from the correct path. So this one [i.e. the one who intends misguidance for the people] is a devil, because the devils take the people away from the Straight Path. [Allaah informed us that] Iblees said: [لَأَقْعُدَنَّ لَهُمْ صِرَاطَكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ -Surely I will sit in wait against them (human beings) on Your Straight Path]. [7:16] So he intends to turn them away from it [i.e. the straight path] and [direct them] towards the deviated paths. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] gave us an example when he drew a straight line and drew other lines on its sides, he then said about the straight line: ‘This is the path of Allaah’ and he said about the other lines, ‘These are the other paths, and on each path is a devil calling to it.’ This is a clear example that is in agreement to that which the Shaikh [i.e. Imaam Barbahaaree] has mentioned here. So the one who takes the people away from the Straight Path [and direct them] to the innovated paths of the innovators is not one who intends good for them; rather he intends destruction for them. He is a devil, be it that he is a devil from amongst the Jinn or the People. It is obligated on us to be more careful of this [second ] than the first one [i.e. the person who intends good but was mistaken]; because this one [i.e. the intentionally deviated one] intends to misguide the people.

And regarding the statement of Imaam Barbahaaree: “He is astray, leading others astray, a rebellious devil”, Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan commented on the above statement, saying: He is misguided and misguiding others. He is a rebellious devil, a rebel intending to turn the people from the Straight Path. And regarding the statement of Imaam Barbahaaree: ”It is a duty upon those who know of him to warn the people against him and to explain his condition to them so that no one falls into his innovation and is destroyed.’ Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan commented on the above statement, saying: It is not permissible to keep quiet about this one who leaves the truth intentionally; rather it is obligatory to unveil his affair and uncover his vileness until the people are warned about him. And it is not to be said that the people are free to hold views, freedom of speech and respecting the views of others, as say present with regards to [having] respect for the views of others. The affair is not about views; [rather] the affair is about Ittibaa [i.e. following the authentic proofs narrated from the Messenger accompanied with the understanding of the Salaf]. Allah has outlined a clear path for us and He told us to adhere to it, when He [Glorified be He] stated: [وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ] ‘And verily, this is my Straight Path, so follow it’ [6:153]

So any person comes to us and wants us to leave this straight path, then firstly we reject his statement. Secondly, we clarify and warn the people against him and we do not keep quiet about him; because if we keep quiet about him, the people will be deceived by him, especially if he is an eloquent person, [with] good speech, [skillful] writing and is educated; for indeed the people will be deceived by him and will say, ”this one is competent, this one is from the thinkers,” as is taking place today.

So, the affair is very dangerous and regarding this is a reason to refute the one in opposition, as opposed to what those ones say: [that] ”Abandon the refutations, leave the people, everyone has his own views and have respect for him.” By way of this [having] respect for the views and freedom of speech the Ummah will be destroyed. The Salaf did not keep quiet about the likes of these people; rather they exposed and refuted them due to their knowledge of their danger upon Ummah. We do not keep quiet about their evil; rather that which Allaah has revealed must be clarified. And unless [we do that], we will be from those who conceal the truth-those whom Allah spoke of (saying):

[إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَا أَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالْهُدَىٰ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا بَيَّنَّاهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِي الْكِتَابِ ۙ أُولَٰئِكَ يَلْعَنُهُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَلْعَنُهُمُ اللَّاعِنُونَ-Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allaah and cursed by the cursers.'[2:159] And the affair is not limited to the innovator, rather it is extended to the one who keeps quiet about him, for indeed rebuke and punishment is extended to him; because it is obligatory to clarify and made clear for the people…..up until the Sheikh said: So our intention is to clarify the truth. Our intention is not to [merely] disparage the people or to speak about the people. The intent is to clarify the truth and this is a trust entrusted upon the Scholars. It is not permissible to keep quiet about these people. (1)

Al-Allaamah Muqbil Bin Haadee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said:

Indeed Nad’dhaam, Abu Hudhayl and other than them amongst the enemies of the Sunnah have passed and the Sunnah of the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] has remained white and pure, and their mockery of it has not harmed it (i.e. the Sunnah).  And the contemporary enemies of the Sunnah will die and the Sunnah of the Messenger will remain; because Allaah has guaranteed its preservation. So He (The Most High) said:إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ— Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur’an) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption)]. [15:9] (2)

Part 1: Earthquakes– By Shaikh Muqbil [rahimahullaah]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The People differ (in their views) concerning earthquakes-some say that it is a natural phenomenon and it has nothing to do with religion; others say that it (occurs) by Allaah’s decision and pre-decree and it has nothing to do with the sins (of the people); and others say that it is warning for (the slaves to fear Allaah’s punishment) and it has nothing to do with (their sins); and others say that it (occurs) as a result of the sins (of the people)?

The answer to this is: It may occur as a warning, a decision and pre-decree of Allaah and as a result of the sins (of the people). Earthquakes can occur as a warning for those who are witness it and are alive. He (The Most High) said:

And there is not a town (population) but We shall destroy it before the Day of Resurrection, or punish it with a severe torment. That is written in the Book (of our Decrees); And nothing stops Us from sending the Ayat (proofs, evidences, signs) but that the people of old denied them. And We sent the she-camel to Thamud as a clear sign, but they did her wrong. And We sent not the signs except to warn, and to make them afraid (of destruction).[Soorah Al-Israa: Aayaat:58-59]

As for it being the decision and pre-decree of Allaah, He (The Most High) said:

مَا أَصَابَ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ نَبْرَأَهَا ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ

No calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but is inscribed in the Book of Decrees (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz), before We bring it into existence. Verily, that is easy for Allah”. [Soorah Al-Hadeed: Ayah:22].

And He (The Most High) also said:

مَا أَصَابَ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَمَنْ يُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

No calamity befalls, but with the Leave [i.e. decision and Qadar (Divine Preordainments)] of Allah, and whosoever believes in Allah, He guides his heart [to the true Faith with certainty, i.e. what has befallen him was already written for him by Allah from the Qadar (Divine Preordainments)], and Allah is the All-Knower of everything.” [Soorah At-Taghaabun: Ayah:11]

As for it being a result of the sins (of the people), Allaah (The Mighty and Majestic) said in His Noble Book:

وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُو عَنْ كَثِيرٍ

And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much. [Soorah Ash-Shoorah: Ayah:30]

He (The Most High) said:

ذَٰلِكَ أَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ رَبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ الْقُرَىٰ بِظُلْمٍ وَأَهْلُهَا غَافِلُونَ

This is because your Lord would not destroy the (populations of) towns for their wrong-doing (i.e. associating others in worship along with Allah) while their people were unaware (so the Messengers were sent).” [Soorah An-An’aam: Ayah: 131]

And He (The Most High) said:

وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ لِيُهْلِكَ الْقُرَىٰ بِظُلْمٍ وَأَهْلُهَا مُصْلِحُونَ

And your Lord would never destroy the towns wrongfully, while their people were right-doers.” [Soorah Hud: Ayah: 117]

And He (The Most High) said:

And how many a town (population) have We destroyed, which were thankless for its means of livelihood (disobeyed Allah, and His Messengers, by doing evil deeds and crimes) ! And those are their dwellings, which have not been inhabited after them except a little. And verily! We have been the inheritors. And never will your Lord destroy the towns (populations) until He sends to their mother town a Messenger reciting to them Our Verses. And never would We destroy the towns unless the people thereof are Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, oppressors and tyrants). [Soorah Qasas: Ayah:58-59]

He (The Most High) said:

And Allah puts forward the example of a township (Makkah), that dwelt secure and well content; its provision coming to it in abundance from every place, but it (its people) denied the Favours of Allah (with ungratefulness). So Allah made it taste the extreme of hunger (famine) and fear, because of that (evil, i.e. denying Prophet Muhammad ) which they (its people) used to do.” [Soorah An-Nahl: Ayah:112]

He (The Most High) said:

Indeed there was for Saba’ (Sheba) a sign in their dwelling place, – two gardens on the right hand and on the left (and it was said to them) “Eat of the provision of your Lord, and be grateful to Him, a fair land and an Oft-Forgiving Lord. But they turned away (from the obedience of Allah), so We sent against them Sail Al-‘Arim (flood released from the dam), and We converted their two gardens into gardens producing bitter bad fruit, and tamarisks, and some few lote-trees. Like this We requited them because they were ungrateful disbelievers. And never do We requit in such a way except those who are ungrateful, (disbelievers).” [Soorah Saba Aayaat: 15-17]

Verily, Qarun (Korah) was of Musa’s (Moses) people, but he behaved arrogantly towards them. And We gave him of the treasures, that of which the keys would have been a burden to a body of strong men. When his people said to him: “Do not be glad (with ungratefulness to Allah’s Favours). Verily! Allah likes not those who are glad (with ungratefulness to Allah’s Favours).

But seek, with that (wealth) which Allah has bestowed on you, the home of the Hereafter, and forget not your portion of legal enjoyment in this world, and do good as Allah has been good to you, and seek not mischief in the land. Verily, Allah likes not the Mufsidun (those who commit great crimes and sins, oppressors, tyrants, mischief-makers, corrupts).

He said: “This has been given to me only because of knowledge I possess.” Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him generations, men who were stronger than him in might and greater in the amount (of riches) they had collected. But the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) will not be questioned of their sins (because Allah knows them well, so they will be punished without account).

So he went forth before his people in his pomp. Those who were desirous of the life of the world, said: “Ah, would that we had the like of what Qarun (Korah) has been given? Verily! He is the owner of a great fortune.

But those who had been given (religious) knowledge said: “Woe to you! The Reward of Allah (in the Hereafter) is better for those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and this none shall attain except those who are patient (in following the truth).”

So We caused the earth to swallow him and his dwelling place. Then he had no group or party to help him against Allah, nor was he one of those who could save themselves.

And those who had desired (for a position like) his position the day before, began to say: “Know you not that it is Allah Who enlarges the provision or restricts it to whomsoever He pleases of His slaves. Had it not been that Allah was Gracious to us, He could have caused the earth to swallow us up (also)! Know you not that the disbelievers will never be successful. [Soorah Qasas: Aayaat: 76-82]

And He (The Most High) said:

So We punished each (of them) for his sins, of them were some on whom We sent Hasiban (a violent wind with shower of stones) [as the people of Lout (Lot)], and of them were some who were overtaken by As-Saihah [torment – awful cry, etc. (as Thamud or Shu’aib’s people)], and of them were some whom We caused the earth to swallow [as Qarun (Korah)], and of them were some whom We drowned [as the people of Nuh (Noah), or Fir’aun (Pharaoh) and his people]. It was not Allah Who wronged them, but they wronged themselves. [Soorah Al-Ankaboot: Ayah: 40]
