The “Dahiya Doctrine” and “Hannibal Code”

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The High, said:

مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا

If anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land – it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. [Al-Maa’idah 32]

Imam As-Sadi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

This means that the killer has no justification to kill, and one should not kill another person unless he has a justified reason (i.e. based on the law of the land) to do so. If a person is bold enough to kill someone who does not deserve to be killed, this implies that he does make a distinction between the one he killed and other than him; rather he would commit this act whenever his evil calls him to that. Therefore, his bold attitude that led him to kill is as if he had killed all humankind. On the other hand, if a person saves a life and does not kill – whilst his soul calls him to do so – due to fear of Allah, this is as if he has saved the lives of all humankind because the fear of Allah he possesses stops him killing one who does not deserve to be killed. [1]

The conduct of the Zionist army, led by Netanyahu, starkly contrasts with the high moral standards in this verse concerning the preservation of life. Instead, they seek absurd justifications to kill even their own in accordance with the satanic Hannibal Doctrine. Regardless of what justification is given, which can never be accepted, the principles of the “Dahiya doctrine” and the “Hannibal code,” which they have attempted to obscure, have been scrutinised once again.

The “Dahiya philosophy” emerged during the 2006 conflict between the Zionists and Lebanon with Dahiya denoting the southern suburbs of Beirut that were subjected to bombardment by Zionist aircraft. This strategy is predicated on the belief that a disproportionate application of force can inflict significant and enduring damage on every village from which attacks are launched against Zionists forces, irrespective of the impact on civilians. The intent behind such a response is to impose severe damage and punishment, necessitating lengthy and costly reconstruction efforts. Consequently, this excessive use of force, cloaked as deterrence, aims to achieve widespread destruction rather than making genuine and sincere effort to avoid civilian casualties. Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, said:

“Do not kill women, children, old men, or anyone who approaches you for peace and refrains from fighting, because if you do so then you have transgressed without a doubt”. [2]

Read the article by Shaikh Abu Iyaad, may Allah preserve him:

The “Hannibal code” refers to the principle that all possible actions should be taken to avert the abduction and detention of a soldier, even if such actions may endanger the lives of the abductees, potentially leading to the death of either the soldier or civilians in order to prevent them from being captured by opponents. Not so long ago, when it was reported that Zionist soldiers were responsible for the deaths of certain citizens during the October 7 attack by Hamas, many individuals categorically rejected this assertion, attributing sole responsibility for the day’s events to Hamas, even though Hamas were also involved in the assault on some non-combatants and unarmed civilians. However, recently, the matter is being portrayed differently, highlighting the controversial Zionist military’s use of the Hannibal code. Read the newspaper excerpts at the end of this article regarding this matter.

Indeed, the tyrannical Zionists forces under the command of Netanyahu remind us of some of the tyrannical disbelievers of old! Allah said:

The people Aad belied the Messengers. When their brother Hud said to them: “Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him and obey me. No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists). Do you build high palaces on every high place, while you do not live in them? And do you get for yourselves palaces (fine buildings) as if you will live therein forever? And when you seize, seize you as tyrants? So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him and obey me. And keep your duty to Him, fear Him Who has aided you with all (good things) that you know. He has aided you with cattle and children. And gardens and springs. Verily, I fear for you the torment of a Great Day”. They said: “It is the same to us whether you preach or be not of those who preach. This is no other than the false tales and religion of the ancients, and we are not going to be punished”. So they belied him, and We destroyed them. Verily! In this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. [Surah Ash-Shu’araa. Ayaat 123-140]

Regarding the statement:

And when you seize, you seize as tyrants.

Meaning, when you want to attack with a whip or sword, you attack like tyrants, completely overpowering and being savagely violent – neither compassionate nor aim to discipline (within justice as commanded by Allah), nor contemplating on the consequences. [3]

Allah gave them great strength and it was obligated on them to use this strength in obedience to Allaah, but they became boastful and haughty, and they said: [مَنۡ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةً‌ۖ – Who is mightier than us in strength? (Surah Fussilat. Verse 15]; and they utilized their strength in disobedience to Allaah, fruitlessly and foolishly, so their Prophet forbade them from that. [4] Their Prophet forbade them from that because it was done out of oppression. [5]

Allah [The Exalted] said:

Did you (O Muhammad) not see (thought) how your Lord dealt with ‘Ad (people)? Who were very tall like lofty pillars, the like of which were not created in the land? And (with) Thamud (people), who cut (hewed) out rocks in the valley (to make dwellings)? And (with) Fir’aun (Pharaoh), who had Al-Awtaad? Who did transgress beyond bounds in the lands (in the disobedience of Allah). And made therein much mischief. So your Lord poured on them different kinds of severe torment. Verily, your Lord is Ever Watchful (over them). [Surah Al-Fajr. Ayaat 6-14]

[أَلَمۡ تَرَ -Did you (O Muhammad) not see]- Meaning, with your heart and insight, how those tyrannical nations were dealt with- the (people of) Iram, the well-known tribe in Yemen. [ذَاتِ ٱلۡعِمَاد -Who were very tall like lofty pillars]- Meaning, they had great strength and were insolent and proud. [ٱلَّتِى لَمۡ يُخۡلَقۡ مِثۡلُهَا -The like of which were not created]- Meaning, none was similar to Aad in strength; [فِى ٱلۡبِلَـٰدِ – In the land]-Meaning, in all the lands (due to what they possessed of power and strength), just as Allah [The Most High] says that their Prophet Hud (peace be upon him)said to them:

وَٱذۡڪُرُوٓاْ إِذۡ جَعَلَكُمۡ خُلَفَآءَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ قَوۡمِ نُوحٍ۬ وَزَادَكُمۡ فِى ٱلۡخَلۡقِ بَصۜۡطَةً۬‌ۖ فَٱذۡڪُرُوٓاْ ءَالَآءَ ٱللَّهِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ

And remember that He made you successors after the people of Nuh (Noah), and increased you amply in stature. So remember the graces (bestowed upon you) from Allah, so that you may be successful. [Al-A’raaf 70]

And (with) Thamud (people), who cut (hewed) out rocks in the valley (to make dwellings)]; Meaning: Valley towns, which they hewed out of solid rocks with their strength and took them as dwelling places.

And (with) Fir’aun (Pharaoh), who had the stakes

Meaning: He had hosts that established his authority, like how stakes firmly hold something (on the ground).

Who did transgress beyond bounds in the lands (in the disobedience of Allah).]

Meaning: Aad, Thamud, Fir’awn and those who followed them because they transgressed in Allah’s earth and harmed the slaves of Allah in their religious and worldly affairs. And because of this Allah (The Most High) said: [فَأَكۡثَرُواْ فِيہَا ٱلۡفَسَاد – And made therein much mischief]; Meaning: Disbelief (in Allah and His Messengers); spreading all types of disobedience (in the land); hastening to wage war against the Messengers and hindering mankind from the path of Allah.

So when they reached that state of haughtiness deserving of destruction, Allah sent them His punishment -different kinds of severe torment.

Verily, your Lord is Ever Watchful.]

Meaning: Ever watchful over the one who disobeys Him. Allah gives him respite for a little while and then seizes him with a mighty and powerful punishment. [6]

Also, other groups behaved in this manner, such as the Muta’assibah (Fanatical Partisans) among the Jews and the Azaariqah among the Khawaarij. “The fanatical partisans among the Jews were a group whose thought was close to that of the Faareesiyyoon, but they were very aggressive and believed in assassinating anyone who disagreed with them. They were also called Saffaakoon [Those Eager to Commit Murder], and they committed pillage, plunder, and transgressed against everyone who accepted submission to others besides them. Hostility occurred between them and the Fareesiyyoon because the Faareesiyyoon submitted to the Romans. Some of the researchers consider them to be from the political or nationalistic sects, even though their movement started within a religious framework, but great were the crimes that they committed from one place to another”. [7] As for the Azaariqah among the Khawaarij, Al-Baghdaadee [429 AH- may Allah have mercy upon him] stated about their Bidah: “From them is their declaration that it is permissible to kill the women and children of their opponents, and they claimed that the children of their opponents would dwell in the fire forever”. [8]

Regarding the use of white phosphorus, the Zionist military cannot deny the fact that it has used it in the past as stated in the Jerusalem Post as follows:

However, as for the recent claims during the recent conflict that Netanyahu’s army of Zionists are using it again, this is still being investigated, so we’ll wait for the reliable and unbiased investigators and experts – among Muslims and non-Muslims – to produce a final report. We neither negate nor affirm until the affair is finalised, but what remains a fact is that the Zionists did use white phosphorous in the past.

Finally, every oppressor who uses these barbaric methods reminds us of what has been stated in Surah Al-Burooj. Allah said:

Cursed were the People of the Ditch, (the large ditch with) the fire, given fuel (in abundance). While they were sat over it (watching those whom they punished by burning). [9]

Imam As-Sadi [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: This is the greatest type of tyranny and heart-heartedness because they combined disbelief in Allah’s Ayaat and wilful opposition to them, waging war against its adherents and torturing them with this torment, which the extremely heart-breaking, whilst they are present and throwing them into it. And the fact is that they did not take revenge on the believers except due to a characteristic for which they are praised, and by way of which they attain happiness (in this life and the next), which is that they believed in Allah. [10]

Imam Muhammad Ibn Saalih Al-Uthaymeen [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “They saw the fire burning these people while sitting and joking as if nothing was happening, and Allah’s protection is sought (against this behaviour). This is tyranny that a person sees a human being burnt with fire while he reclines on his couch and is distracted by the conversation and does not care”. [11]

Deliberate Harm to a Child During War…!

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Deliberate Harm to a Child During War: No Compassionate Adult Stays Silent Regardless of Child’s Country of Origin

Allah, The Most High, said:

إِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ
When the sun will be coiled up (and lose its light).

And when the stars will fall down (and scatter).

And when the mountains will be swept away (from their places, having being turned to dust).

And when the pregnant she-camels (that reach full-term) will be left idle, without care.

And when the wild beasts will be gathered together (for retribution to take place between them, before they are turned to dust).

And when the oceans will be kindled ablaze (after having merged together).

And when the (various categories of) souls will be paired together (on the basis of their actions in this world) (or: when the souls are returned to their bodies).

And when the female newborn (who was) buried alive will be asked. For what sin she was killed.

And when the scrolls (of the good and bad deeds of every person as recorded by the angels) will be spread open.

And when the heaven will be torn out (from its place).

And when the Hellfire will be kindled ablaze (its burning rage reflecting the sins of mankind and Allāh’s anger).

And when Paradise will be brought near (for the pious).

(When these events have taken place) then will every soul know what it has brought (of good and evil for this Day). [1]

“And when the female new born (who was) buried alive will be asked. For what sin she was killed”. This pertains to the custom followed by the ignorant people of the pre-Islamic period, wherein they would bury their (infant) daughters alive solely out of the apprehension of poverty. Consequently, the innocent female child would be questioned (on the day of Judgement): [بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍ۬ قُتِلَتۡ- For what sin she was killed]? This is because it is widely acknowledged that she is sinless, and this verse serves as a (strong) reproach and cautionary message to those responsible for her demise. [2]

Staff writer Graeme Wood from The Atlantic attempted to justify and legitimise the act of killing children in times of war. This disturbing stance parallels the sinister tactics employed by the Khariji Abu Qatadah. Both individuals align themselves with extremist factions, with Graeme siding with Netanyahu’s faction and Abu Qatadah supporting the Kharijites.

Graeme Wood said:

Abu Qatadah

Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, narrated that a woman was found killed in one of the battles; so Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade the killing of women and children. [Sahih Muslim 1744]

Truly, the view of these individuals to justify and legitimise such barbaric, atrocious, and dreadful act is utterly despicable. Despite their reasoning, they have made a declaration that goes against the innate human compassion for children and the instinct to safeguard them at all costs. Their rationalisations exude pure malice verging on sadism, and they cannot absolve themselves of accountability for their words. No amount of sugar-coated language or purported noble goals can excuse the abhorrent nature of their statements. The proclamations they make are utterly appalling to any parent with even a shred of compassion, leaving one in disbelief. It is truly distressing to listen to or read, causing a wave of nausea. How could anyone attempt to justify such a heinous act against the most innocent, children or infants? This wicked justification paves the way for all perpetrators in times of conflict to behave inhumanely, inflicting deadly harm and unbearable agony leading to the demise of helpless children. One can scarcely fathom the horror and multitude of wounds that a child would suffer when trapped alongside others before meeting their demise! Indeed, the noble Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said:

“Allah will not be merciful to those who are not merciful to people”. [Ṣahiḥ Al-Bukhari 7376]

We ask Alla

After the above supplication, we say, “May Allah guide Graeme, Abu Qatadah, and all those who utter such abhorrent and inhumane words towards the righteous path or afflict them with an ailment that renders their tongues and minds incapacitated. If both Graeme and Abu Qatadah have recanted these satanic views, then may Allah guide them, but if they continue to hold these views, may Allah deal with them as He pleases in this life and the next. Likewise, may Allah deal with those whose armies  deliberately kill Palestinian and Iranian, and all other children during war. Amin.

Some Previous Violent Groups Among Jews and Muslims

The Muta’assibah (Fanatical Partisans) among the Jews: The fanatical partisans among the Jews were a group whose thought was close to that of the Faareesiyyoon, but they were very aggressive and believed in assassinating anyone who disagreed with them. [3]

The Azaariqah Among The Muslims: Al-Baghdaadee [429 AH- may Allah have mercy upon him] stated about their Bidah: “From them is their declaration that it is permissible to kill the women and children of their opponents, and they claimed that the children of their opponents would dwell in the fire forever”. The Middle Path and Sunniyyah: A Brief Note to Alan Rosenbaum at The Jerusalem Post

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah said:

O people of the Scripture! Now has come to you Our Messenger (Muhammad) explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and passing over (i.e. leaving out without explaining) much. Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a light (Prophet Muhammad) and a plain Book (this Quran). Wherewith Allah guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will unto light and guides them to a Straight Way (Islamic Monotheism). [Al-Ma’idah 15-16]

In this article, our focus is not on politics, as that falls under the purview and expertise of Muslim rulers and the counsel they obtain from righteous scholars. Rather, our response is prompted by the the word moderation and the term Sunni in an article of Alan Rosenbaum at Jerusalem Post. These terms have been misused and misinterpreted by both non-Muslims and uninformed Muslims. Therefore, it is essential to elucidate these concepts to differentiate truth from falsehood, clarity from ambiguity, and detail from generalisation.

Al-Wasatiyyah – The Middle Path

It is well-known regarding some of the people that ٱلۡوُسۡطَ is only what occupies the middle position between two things, and they do not take note of the meaning of this term in the Magnificent Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah.

[ٱلۡوُسۡطَ]  in the Shariah is something that is superior to other things. Allah said:

Guard strictly (five obligatory) As-Salawaat (the prayers) especially the Salatul Wustaa (the Asr prayer)]. [Al-Baqarah. 238]

Meaning, the best, most excellent.

Allah said:

(On the scale) of the average of that which you feed your own families. [Al-Ma’idah. 89]

Meaning, the best and most just.

Allah said:

Thus We have made you  أُمَّةً۬ وَسَطً۬ا- Meaning, the best and most upright Ummah.

The intent behind this is to understand that [الوسطية] in the religion is what is best and the justice of the religion – to follow the command of Allah and refrain from His prohibitions. As for the explanation of [الوسطية] in the religion with a meaning other than this, it is (something) ready to crumble and a (is like) a mirage which a thirsty one considers water [i.e. an illusion]. [1]

Thus, we notify Alan that both moderation and extremism are evaluated through the lens of divine revelation, as understood and practiced by the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. Allah said:

O you who have believed, obey Allāh and obey the Messenger and those in authority over you. And if you disagree among yourselves over anything then refer it back to Allāh and the Messenger if you truly believe in Allāh and the Last Day. That is better (conduct) and (leads to) the most excellent outcome.

Allah said:

And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muhammad) after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers’ way (i.e. the companions). We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell – what an evil destination. [An-Nisaa 115]

Allah said:

And let those who oppose the Messenger’s (Muhammad) commandment (i.e. his Sunnah legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements, etc.) (among the sects) beware, lest some Fitnah (disbelief, trials, afflictions, earthquakes, killing, overpowered by a tyrant, etc.) befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them. [An-Nur 63]

Allah said:

O you who believe! Answer Allah and (His) Messenger when he calls you to that which will give you life, and know that Allah comes in between a person and his heart. And verily to Him you shall (all) be gathered. [8:24]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

This Ayah comprises some affairs and one of them is that a beneficial life is only attained through obedience to Allah and His Messenger, therefore, whoever does not submit to this call (of Allah and His Messenger) will have no life (upright guidance), even though he has a life similar to that of the most despicable animals (eats, drinks and fulfils desires whilst devoid of the sound faith that enables a person to distinguish between guidance and misguidance). A real and good life is the life of that one who answers the call of Allah and His Messenger- outwardly and inwardly. They are those who are alive (with sound faith in this life), and even if they have passed away (their righteous example remains). As for others besides them, they are dead (with hearts devoid of sound faith), even if their bodies are alive. This is why the one with the most perfect life amongst the people is the one with the most perfect response to the call of the Messenger because there is life (upright guidance) in everything he calls to. Therefore, whoever missed a portion of it will miss a portion of life and there is life in accordance with his response to his call.

To that which will give you life.]

Mujahid said: Meaning, “the truth”. Qatadah, said, “Meaning, this Qur’an in which is life (upright guidance), safety and protection in the life of this world and the hereafter. As-Sa’dee, said, “Meaning, Islam. They were given life (upright guidance) by way of it after being dead (completely misguided) through disbelief.

And know that Allah comes in between a person and his heart. And verily to Him you shall (all) be gathered. [2]

Allah, The Most High, said:

وَٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهَـٰجِرِينَ وَٱلۡأَنصَارِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُم بِـإِحۡسَـٰنٍ۬ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡہُمۡ وَرَضُواْ عَنۡهُ

And the first to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun (those who migrated from Makkah to Al-Madinah) and the Ansar (the citizens of Al-Madinah who helped and gave aid to the Muhajirun) and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allah is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him]. [9:100]

Allah said:

Verily, those who believed, and emigrated and strove hard and fought with their property and their lives in the Cause of Allah as well as those who gave (them) asylum and help, – these are (all) allies to one another [8:72] until Allah stated:

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدُ وَهَاجَرُواْ وَجَـٰهَدُواْ مَعَكُمۡ فَأُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ مِنكُمۡ‌ۚ

And those who believed afterwards, and emigrated and strove hard along with you, (in the Cause of Allah) they are of you]. [8:75]

Allah said:

(And there is also a share in this booty) for the poor emigrants, who were expelled from their homes and their property, seeking Bounties from Allah and to please Him. And helping Allah (i.e. helping His religion) and His Messenger (Muhammad). Such are indeed the truthful (to what they say); And those who, before them, had homes (in Al-Madinah) and had adopted the Faith, love those who emigrate to them.” [59:8-9]- up until His, The Most High, statement:

وَٱلَّذِينَ جَآءُو مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَلِإِخۡوَٲنِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِٱلۡإِيمَـٰنِ

And those who came after them say: “Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in Faith”. 59:10

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

“This ummah will split into seventy-three sects; all of them will enter the fire except one”. They said, “Which is that (saved sects) O Messenger of Allaah?” He replied, “Those who are upon that which I and my companions are upon today”. The Prophet said, “Adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided Khulafaa after me”. https://salafidawahmanchester.com/2024/12/28/all-in-the-fire-except-one/

Therefore, the basis for evaluating moderation and extremism are rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah, as understood and practiced by those who witnessed sending down of the revelation and its application. Any belief or methodology that diverges from this foundational understanding—be it labeled as extremism, moderation, or progress—can only be seen as a form of misguidance. It is important to inform Alan Rosenbraum that this matter is exclusively evaluated according to the aforementioned principle. The statements of individuals can be accepted or dismissed, with the exception of that of the Messenger, as has been articulated by Islamic scholars over the centuries. The assessment of moderation or extremism is not determined by personal desires or human ideologies; instead, it is based on the principle previously outlined, neither ambiguity, sophistry, nor philosophy.

Sunniyyah

It is important to know that an individual’s affiliation with Suniyyah must be grounded in unequivocal evidence. Imam Barbahaaree [329AH], may Allah have mercy upon him said:

It is not permitted for a man to say, “So and so is a person of the sunnah” until he knows that he combines the characteristics of the Sunnah, so it is not said of him, “a person of the Sunnah” until he combines all the Sunnah.

Al-Allamah Salih Al-Fawzan, may Allah preserve him, commented on the above statement as follows:

Do not give recommended to a person and a praise of him, except based on knowledge, lest the people become deceived by your praise of him, while he is not what (you have stated about him).  So, when his real affair and path is clear to you, his knowledge and steadfastness, you can give him recommendation. As for giving out praise and recommendation while not knowing of anything about him, this is a dangerous recommendation through which the people will be deceived by this person. Had only those who give commendations to the people stopped at that (i.e. put it in its proper place), they would not give recommendation, except for one who fulfils the conditions of (receiving) recommendation because recommendation is a witness, thus, if the recommendation is not correct it will be a false witness. And regarding the statement of Imaam Al-Barbahaaree: “until he knows that he combines the characteristics of the Sunnah”. The characteristics of the Sunnah are to be in creed, knowledge and adherence to the (path) of the pious predecessors. But if there is not in him except a single characteristic of the (sunnah), he is not judged to be from Ahlus Sunnah on the basis of a single characteristic or one thing, then what about the one who does not have anything from that? [3]

Al-Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Hadi Al-Madkhali, may Allah preserve him, was asked: The questioner says: We request a comment from you on this statement: “Indeed both Sunnah and Bidah may be gathered in a man, thus, if the Sunnah is predominant in him, he is a Sunni Salafi. And if bidah is predominant in him, he is an innovator, a misguided one”. Benefit us (i.e. with a comment) and may Allah reward you.

Response: This (statement) is from the [مغالطات-i.e. those misleading statements or matters that are brought forth for the purpose of deception or sophistry].

There is no doubt that the one in whom Bidah is predominant is an innovator in religious matters, but it is not a condition, for example, that he has thirty (matters) of bidah with him and twenty (matters) of Sunnah, because he may have one bidah with him, thus declared an innovator in religious matters. Rather the verdict of disbelief may be passed against him. (footnote a) Because if he adheres to all the Sunnah, but then he says, “Indeed, the Qur’an is created”, do we say that the Sunnah is predominant in this (person)? The Salaf (pious predecessors) declared (people) disbelievers due this because the Qur’an is the Speech of Allah and not created. The Salaf held a consensus regarding this. If he says, “I am a Sunni and the Qur’an is created”, we say: ”You are an innovator in religion, a misguided one, rather this innovation of yours is tantamount to disbelief.  Either you recant or else you are a disbeliever.”  We clarify the truth for him and unless he recants, otherwise he is a disbeliever. He rejects the Ruyah (i.e. he rejects the fact that the believers will see Allah on the day of judgement) and says: “I am a Sunni in everything except in this, for I do not believe that Allah will be seen in the Afterlife.” This one (i.e. the person who says this) has belied the Qur’an and the Sunnah.

This principle (i.e. that a person is a Sunni Salafi or an innovator depending whether the Sunnah or Bidah is predominant in him) is false; and how many with a single bidah – among the major bidah- were declared innovators by the Salaf?! Jad Ibn Dirham had two innovations- negation of the attributes of Allah and the statement (i.e. the belief) that the Qur’an is created, while he used to pray, observe fasting and worshipped Allah. And how many of Ahlul bidah and the devout worshippers have numerous (practices) of Sunnah, but alongside this he is an innovator!

Therefore, it is obligated to the Sunni to be solely dedicated to the truth and that his religion (Creed, Methodology and acts of worship) are pure and not stained by anything from the (matters) of bidah. However, if he falls into a Bidah khafiyyah, while he is desirous of the truth and seeking after it, then if the people were to inform him about it he would recant. Thus, we do not pass the judgement of Tabdee against this person. If he had passed away we ask Allah to forgive him and we do not pass the verdict of Tabdee against him. If he is alive, we advice him, and unless he accepts (the truth), we pass the verdict of Tabdee against him. [4]

The Shaikh also stated:

All the sects of Ahlul Bidah gather truth and falsehood, deny the truth that is with the other sect of Bidah and believe in that which they possess of falsehood. Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: Allah says:

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ ءَامِنُواْ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُواْ نُؤۡمِنُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡنَا وَيَكۡفُرُونَ بِمَا وَرَآءَهُ ۥ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مُصَدِّقً۬ا لِّمَا مَعَهُمۡ

And when it is said to them, “Believe in what Allah has sent down,” they say, “We believe in what was sent down to us.” And they disbelieve in that which came after it, while it is the truth confirming what is with them]. [Al-Baqarah 91]

The Shaikh also stated:

As for the one who falls into an innovation, he is of categories: the first category: Ahlul-Bid’ah, such as the Rawāfid, the Khawārij, the Jahmiyyah, the Qadariyyah, the Mu’tazilah, the Grave-worshipping Sūfīs, the Murji’ah, and whoever is connected to them [in our times] such as al-Ikhwān, at-Tablīgh and those similar to them. For these innovations the Salaf did not make it a condition that the proof be established due to the fact that the ruling upon them is [in accordance to] the innovation. So regarding the Rāfidī, it is said about him, “Innovator (mubtadi’)”. As for the Khārijī, it is said about him, “Innovator”, and so on, regardless of whether the proof is established upon him or not. [5]

Concerning the interactions between Muslim nations and non-Muslim nations, including peace treaties, war, and bilateral relations, these matters are managed by the leaders. It is not within our authority to dictate the actions of Muslim rulers, as this responsibility lies with them and the senior scholars of the Ummah. The rulers are tasked with determining diplomatic relations that serve the interests of the Muslim community and the senior scholars are there to give them sincere advice.

Core Psychopathic Traits of Extreme Corrupters On The Earth

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Arrogant hypocrites, argue without truth, lying, wilfully reject guidance, and destroys while believing themselves to be right etc

Allah, The Most High, said:

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ
أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَٰكِن لَّا يَشْعُرُونَ

And when it is said to them, “Do not cause corruption on the earth (through your disbelief, sin, treachery, and sedition against those who believe),” they say, “Indeed, we are but reformers (who rectify and make peace).” Indeed, they are the ones who are the mischief-makers (in reality), but they perceive this not (due to their ignorance, disbelief, and arrogance). [1]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

First, they are declared as liars in their claim.

Secondly, a notification that they are corrupt.

Thirdly, attributed to the root of corruption with the confirmation of their true nature as corrupt individuals.

Finally, declared as very ignorant, signifying their complete lack of self-awareness regarding their corrupt behaviour. [2]

Allah said:

And of mankind there is he whose speech may please you (O Muhammad), in this worldly life, and he calls Allah to witness as to that which is in his heart, yet he is the most quarrelsome of the opponents. And when he turns away, his effort in the land is to make mischief therein and to destroy the crops and the cattle, and Allah likes not mischief. And when it is said to him, “Fear Allah”, he is led by arrogance to (more) crime. So enough for him is Hell, and worst indeed is that place to rest! [Al-Baqarah. 204-206]

And of mankind there is he whose speech may please you in this worldly life.

Meaning, the one who hears his speech is pleased when he speaks and he thinks that he has uttered beneficial speech.

He emphasises what he says:

وَيُشۡهِدُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا فِى قَلۡبِهِ

And he calls Allah to witness as to that which is in his heart.

Meaning, he states that Allaah knows that what is in his heart agrees with what he says, even though he is lying regarding what he says because his speech contradicts his deeds. His speech would have agreed with his deeds had he being truthful, because this the case regarding the believers- those who are not hypocrites. And due to this Allaah said:

وَهُوَ أَلَدُّ ٱلۡخِصَامِ

Yet he is the most quarrelsome of the opponents.

Meaning, when you disagree with him, you’ll find him to be the most quarrelsome, bigoted and difficult person to deal with, as well as the ugly characteristics that results from this behaviour, which are the opposite of the manners of the believers- those who make ease their way, submit to the truth and pardon people.

And when he turns away, his effort in the land is to make mischief therein and to destroy the crops and the cattle, and Allah likes not mischief.

Meaning, when this person – the one whose speech amazes you – is not in your presence, he strives to commit sins which is tantamount to corruption in the earth, so cattle and crops are destroyed as a result of that corruption. The blessings in the vegetations, fruits and livestock decrease and become little due to evil deeds.

And Allah likes not mischief.

Meaning, when it is the case that Allah does not like corruption, then He has an intense hatred for the person who sows corruption in the earth, even if such a person utters a good speech merely on the tongue (i.e. says one thing and does something else).

This verse contains proof regarding the fact that the statements uttered by individuals is not a proof regarding their truthfulness or whether they are upon falsehood, neither that they are righteous nor wicked until deeds ascertain them. And it is obligatory to examine the condition of those who bear witness, the one who is in the right and the falsifier amongst the people based on the righteousness of their deeds – examine the clear indications and their behaviour, and not to be deceived by how they portray themselves and the praise they give themselves. Then Allah mentioned that when this person – the one who causes corruption in the earth through acts of disobedience to Allah – is commanded to fear Allah, he becomes arrogant and haughty:

 أَخَذَتۡهُ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ‌ۚ

He is led by arrogance to (more) crime.

Thus, he combines between disobedience to Allah and being arrogant towards the sincere advisers. [3]

The antisemitism virus – Brief Dialogue with Dr. Raheli Baratz

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Most High, said:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. [An-Nisaa. 135]

The purpose of this brief article is not to challenge the right of race to exist within humanity, nor to endorse the oppression of any person. Rather, it aims to provide a quick analysis that highlights aspects the article’s author may have overlooked in their argument, as well as some potential exaggerations in their perspective. It’s important to understand that not all individuals who identify as Jewish agree with or support the actions of Netanyahu’s government, which has been guilty of committing violence and oppression against Palestinians—actions that many have labeled as genocidal in the past three years.

Furthermore, we are not implying that the author endorses such actions, as we have not found any statements from that indicate this. Also, we condemn the actions of any group or individual identifying as Muslim—whether in Palestine, the UK, or elsewhere—that inflicts harm on non-combatants or fellow citizens, regardless of their religious beliefs. We also firmly oppose vigilantism and anti-Semitism in any form, a stance we will emphasise throughout this article, InShaaAllah.

In the above article, Dr. Raheli Baratz titled: “The mutating virus of antisemitism: 2024’s most infectious social diseased”, the author stated:

“It seems that the epidemic of antisemitism has become a real global threat in recent years”. [End of quote]

Response: It is not our expertise to explore the complexities and theory of viral mutations; that responsibility lies with the truthful scientists, both from Muslim backgrounds and others, who engaged in meaningful dialogue and diverse perspectives without succumbing to the fearmongering that was frequently witnessed during the lockdowns. When it comes to the metaphorical rise of antisemitism mentioned by the writer, we acknowledge that, irrespective of our opinions on the extent of its prevalence, it is undeniably a form of racism that Islam condemns. However, it is crucial to emphasise that the violence and oppression linked to Zionism over the last 70 years deserves more condemnation.

Dr. Raheli stated: “While it didn’t start following the October 7 massacre, these events served as a powerful catalyst that brought hatred out of the shadows”. [End of quote]

Response: The tragic loss of innocent lives, including unarmed civilians and non-combatants, is an act that can never be justified, whether it occurred on October 7 or at any other time. However, it is also incumbent to acknowledge the deep-seated animosity towards Palestinians that has persisted for over seven decades, alongside the alarming rhetoric of hatred employed by some people who associate with Zionism. Refer to “Footnote a” for the remarks made by Yair Netanyahu, Ehud Olmert, Eli Yishai, Bezalel Smotrich, Tally Gotliv, Itamar Ben Gvir, and Arieh King. Additionally, you will find the content of “The Friendship Song.”

Dr. Raheli stated: “The tragic murder of Rabbi Zvi Kogan, a 28-year-old Chabad-Lubavitch emissary in Dubai, by Islamic terrorists in early 2024 further demonstrates this escalating crisis. His death, which shocked both the Jewish community and people of goodwill worldwide, illustrates how even in places of apparent progress and interfaith cooperation like the UAE, antisemitic violence can emerge with devastating consequences”. [End of quote]

Response: The murder of any innocent individual, whether they are a Rabbi, a Muslim, a Christian, a Hindu, a Sikh, or an atheist, is unequivocally condemned. However, what about the horrific acts of murdering infants and non-combatants, as well as the starvation of mothers and their children during the blockage in Gaza?! These actions are far more heinous than the tragic murder of a 28-year-old Jewish man, which, while a grave crime, pales in comparison to the suffering inflicted by Zionists over the past 70 years. For a deeper understanding of the atrocities committed by Zionists even prior to the recent violence, please refer to Footnote b at the end of this article. As for when discussing what some people refer to as interfaith cooperation, it is essential to clarify its meaning from an Islamic perspective. This concept does not imply that Muslims should abandon their identity or engage in practices that contradict Islamic law. Instead, it should be framed as peaceful coexistence, where the principles of Shariah compel Muslims to safeguard the lives and dignity of non-Muslims. We reiterate that antisemitism is condemned by the Creator, as are the acts of starving and bombing innocent children. Just as antisemitic violence can lead to catastrophic outcomes, the actions of Zionists have resulted in even more devastating consequences for the lives and dignity of Palestinians, all while the world observed the genocide and the inflammatory rhetoric from certain Zionist leaders. For further details, please refer to Footnote d.

Dr. Raheli stated: “The infection rate has reached unprecedented levels, with reports showing a staggering 400% increase in antisemitic incidents over the past year. This exponential growth rate surpasses any previous outbreak in recent history, marking what epidemiologists would call a “super-spreader event” in social terms. The velocity and scale of this surge mirror the behavior of highly infectious diseases, demanding immediate global intervention”. [End of quote]

Response: We must once again assert that antisemitism and its repercussions have no place in any society. However, it is crucial to recognise that the incidents of antisemitism observed by the writer pale in comparison to the staggering loss of thousands of Palestinian lives when the conflict was at its peak, alongside countless others buried under rubble, children starved due to interference with food supplies by settlers etc. While antisemitism is undeniably a grave injustice, the scale of brutality inflicted by Zionists today is unparalleled and demands more urgent global intervention. Furthermore, I believe the writer has overstated the current prevalence of antisemitism, suggesting it surpasses all previous instances, when in fact, the suffering endured by Bani Israel at the hands of Fir’awn was far more severe. There is no need for such exaggeration; instead, we should engage in a fair discussion of these issues without inflating the reality of antisemitism, which has not even approached the magnitude of Zionist brutality experienced over the past 70 years.

Dr. Raheli stated: “The similarity between antisemitism and COVID-19 is striking. Just as we saw colorful maps describing the spread of the epidemic at its peak – green, yellow, orange, and red – we can now imagine the spread of antisemitism. If, in the past, many areas were “green” and relatively clean of this hatred, today, more and more areas are turning orange and red”. [End of quote]

Response: Antisemitism, akin to a profound affliction of the heart, finds its parallel in Zionism; both are manifestations of deeply flawed beliefs and ideologies that inflict far greater harm than mere physical maladies.

Dr. Raheli stated: “On social networks, hatred spreads like a virus. Antisemitic posts travel from device to device in seconds, echoing across the network without real supervision and strengthening ignorance and incitement. What is the cause? The root of the problem lies in ignorance. When people don’t understand Jewish history, the lessons of the Holocaust, or the heavy price of blind hatred, they easily fall for antisemitic rhetoric. Therefore, education is the most effective cure for dealing with the antisemitism epidemic”. [End of quote]

Response: We denounce anti-Semitism wherever it is perpetrated. However, we must also address the blatant genocidal rhetoric and actions of Netanyahu’s government, which are as evident as the midday sun. These provocations have incited some ignorant soldiers to perpetrate atrocious acts. It is undeniable that all forms of racism arise from ignorance, which positions Netanyahu and his far-right associates as some of the most ignorant individuals, given their openly genocidal statements and the actions that follow.

Dr. Raheli stated: “In the US, where campuses have become conflict-ridden arenas, there is an urgent need to implement comprehensive educational programs. Holocaust studies, which are currently mandatory in half of US states, must become a requirement, not just as a historical gesture but as a tool to prevent future infections of ignorance and hatred”.

Response: Firstly, refer to “Footnote e” for a concise overview of America’s historical relationship with Zionism. Furthermore, while any initiatives aimed at combating antisemitism are commendable, the most pressing need is to implement programs that focus on deradicalising Zionists. This is essential to address the sense of superiority that has contributed to recent genocidal actions, as well as the ongoing violence that has persisted for over 70 years.

Dr. Raheli stated: “Legislation is another crucial tool. In Germany, for example, there are clear penalties against inciting calls such as “from the river to the sea,” which deter potential hate spreaders. Other countries need to learn from this example. When there is a real price for spreading hatred – whether legal punishment or social sanctions – people will think twice before choosing it”. [End of quote]

Response: Certainly, the principles that apply to others equally extend to Zionists in every nation and aspect of life, ensuring they respect the rights of all individuals. In my opinion, if the writer is aware that some individuals who support Zionism also utilise this slogan, it would reflect a level of hypocrisy and an unhealthy sense of entitlement to criticise others for using it while defending its use among their own allies. However, if the writer is simply unaware of those who share similar sentiments and align with Zionists, she bears no fault. Regarding this slogan, there are indeed those, particularly among certain evangelists, who advocate for the concept of a Greater Israel. “The National Christian Company” that was purchased by the Zionist priest Jerry Falwell and its name changed to “Daily Freedom Broadcasting” operates (or operated) from Leechburg, Virginia, and offers religious programming 24 hours a day. Its owner, Jerry Folwell, a close friend of former US President George H.W. Bush, frequently asserts through his station that “the re-establishment of Israel among fundamentalist Christians is a fulfillment of biblical prophecies, and every American must make every effort to ensure full support for Israel.” He also states that the Torah’s Book of Genesis declares that Israel’s borders will extend from the Euphrates to the Nile and that the promised territory will include Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, Jordan, and Kuwait”. [Refer to Footnote f] While both Zionists and antisemites propagate hatred, it is undeniable that the Zionists have perpetrated a greater number of atrocities against the Palestinian people over the past seven decades.

Dr. Raheli stated: “Furthermore, there is an urgent need for cooperation between countries. The antisemitism epidemic crosses borders and cannot be treated separately in each country. Information sharing between countries about incitement networks, joint global campaigns to raise awareness, and encouraging international agreements to protect Jewish communities are critical steps. Democratic countries need to unite around shared core values and work together to eradicate hatred. Just as international cooperation works to fight terrorism and cross-border crime, we can also stop the spread of antisemitism and ensure a safer and more equal society for all. The public needs to understand that antisemitism is not just a problem of the Jewish community. It’s a symptom of a broader disease – the collapse of democratic and liberal values. Throughout history, hatred of Jews has been the first stage in broader social disintegration”. [End of quote]

Response: This is indeed a positive idea, but there is a more pressing need for all countries to work together to stop the much larger atrocities and serious crimes committed by Zionists against Palestinians. We also need to raise awareness about protecting Palestinians in their own land. All good people should oppose racism and antisemitism, but we must also challenge and eliminate Zionist arrogance, impunity, and the terrorism committed by some soldiers to ensure that Palestinians are safe and treated justly. The public should recognise that antisemitism is not only a Jewish issue; it reflects a wider problem. Similarly, Zionist arrogance, terrorism, and brutality are not just Palestinian issues; they indicate a larger failure of compassion, kindness, fairness, and the values found in the infallible final revelation- the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah.

Regarding the writer’s point that hatred of Jews has historically been the first sign of social breakdown, while the writer does not explicitly say that all Jews are innocent, this statement could be misinterpreted by extreme Zionists to claim moral superiority, despite their actions suggesting otherwise. No nation or group is without wrongdoing by its leaders or certain factions throughout history, which can lead to retaliation that harms the innocent. This is not to deny that Jews have faced injustices at times, but no nation can claim to be free from injustice during its rise and fall or ensure that all its citizens and lands are free from it.

Dr. Raheli stated: “Like COVID-19, the way to stop the epidemic is through combined action – education, regulation, international cooperation, and public awareness. The murder of Rabbi Kogan underscores the urgent need for these interventions. Only if all establishment factors and government ministries cooperate can we break the chain of transmission and stop the antisemitism epidemic before it too becomes the norm”. [End of quote]

Response: The views of Dr. Raheli regarding Covid-19 and its mutations, shaped by her scientific perspective, are not the focus of this article of ours. Instead, we emphasise that both antisemitism and Zionism represent deep-seated ailments of the heart and soul. Furthermore, only the final divine revelation – the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah – can provide the healing needed for these ailments. The tragic murder of Rabbi Kogan calls for immediate action, but the urgency surrounding Zionist brutality and genocide demands even greater attention and intervention. It is imperative for all governments to unite in confronting these two issues and putting an end to them. However, it is important to note that Zionist violence has been a persistent reality for the past 70 years. Mere human ideas will not suffice to resolve these conflicts; we must seek a return to the final revelation.

Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Even though there is something in the paths of analogical reasoning and reflection that will lead to knowledge, however sometimes it cannot give detail explanation in a dispute between the people of the earth due to the minute details and ambiguities (in the dispute), and at other times due to the fact the people differ when prioritising necessities. Due to this, Allah [The Most High] commanded [us] to return to the revelation in times of dispute. Allah [The Most High] said:

Mankind were one community (i.e. upon Tawheed and Allaah’s Sharee’ah) and Allah sent Prophets with glad tidings and warnings, and with them He sent the Scripture in truth to judge between people in matters wherein they differed. [Al-Baqarah. 213]

Therefore, Allah designated the revealed Books [i.e. the Qur’an being the final of them] as the judge between the people in matters wherein they differ”. [Dar Ta’aarud Al-Aql Wan-Naql:. 9/17-18]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Everyone with a bit of (sound) intellect knows that the corruption of the world and its ruin occurs due to giving precedence to opinion over the divine revelation and (evil) desires over sound intellect. These two corrupt motives are not entrenched in a heart except that its destruction becomes inevitable nor in a nation except that its affairs are completely corrupted”. [A’laam Al-Muwaqqi’een 1/67-69]

O people of the Scripture! Now has come to you Our Messenger (Muhammad) explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and passing over (i.e. leaving out without explaining) much. Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a light (Prophet Muhammad) and a plain Book (this Quran); wherewith Allah guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will unto light and guides them to a Straight Way (Islamic Monotheism). [Al-Ma’idah 15-16]

To Proceed:

In this article, we want to notify Steven concerning what he subtly diverted from, which is that the issue at hand is not whether Jesus was a Jew, but rather the most important thing regarding this noble Prophet and Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, is that he was sent with upright guidance. Therefore, the main issue to make clear is propagate is that before the arrival of the final noble Messenger Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, the noble Prophet Jesus, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was sent to The Children of Israel, and it was their duty to believe in and adhere to his teachings. Thus, in this brief article, we will first discuss the matter of the noble Jesus’s date of birth and his lineage, and then we will address the most important point that Steven overlooked, which is Jesus’s message and the nation who were required to follow him.

The Date of Noble Jesus’s Date of Birth

Shaikh Abu Khadeejah, may Allah preserve him, stated in a research of his:

The exact date of the birth of the noble Prophet Isa (Jesus), peace be upon him, is not specified in the final infallible revelation, nor is it known by the people of the Scripture. Furthermore, it is not deemed essential to ascertain this information. However, it is essential to illuminate certain aspects of this topic, revealing that his birth did not occur on the 25th of December. This date, historically linked to other events later intertwined with Christian religious beliefs, thus warranting a closer examination.

“Both “Matthew” and “Luke” pinpoint the birth of Jesus Christ to the period when “Herod” was reigning as king over Judea, particularly during the final days of his rule. He passed away in 4 BC according to the Roman calendar, which indicates that the birth of Jesus occurred prior to this date. This suggests that it likely took place around the end of the fifth year or the beginning of the fourth year before Christ. The author of the third Gospel states: “In the fifteenth year of the reign of Emperor Tiberius, when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea, Herod was tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip was tetrarch of Ituraea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias was tetrarch of Abilene, during the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John son of Zechariah in the wilderness. He went into all the region around the Jordan, proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. When all the people were baptised, Jesus was also baptised.” This indicates that Jesus Christ, at the age of thirty, was baptised by the Prophet John (known as John the Baptist), during the fifteenth year of Emperor Tiberius, around 26 or 27 CE. Therefore, his birth would correspond to either 6 or 4 BCE.

The author of the third Gospel also connects the birth of Jesus Christ to the census ordered by the governor of Syria, Quirinius, under the directive of Emperor Augustus. Historically, historians agree that “Quirinius” served as the governor of Syria between 6 and 12 BC, and the census he ordered in Judea took place around 6 or 7 CE, as noted by “Josephus.” However, “Tertullian” claims that the census conducted in Judea was carried out by “Sentius,” the governor of Syria, in 7 or 8 BC. This suggests that if this census is the one referenced by Luke in his Gospel, then the birth of Jesus Christ would have occurred around 6 BC. The specific birth date of Prophet Jesus, from the perspective of Christianity, is inevitably considered speculative and is lacking reliable and verified document to support it. Moreover, the celebration of Christmas on December 25 is not mentioned in the Bible, nor was it observed in early Christianity”. [1]

We shall now draw upon the Shaikh Abu Khadeejah’s research, referencing some sources that delve into the celebration of Christmas and its connection to the designation of December 25th as the birth date of the Messiah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. Shaikh Abu Khadeejah, may Allah preserve him, stated:

The celebration was a pagan practice introduced into the Christian faith by the Catholic Church. The Catholic Encyclopedia (1911 edition) itself states, “Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the church. The first evidence of the feast comes from Egypt… Pagan customs around the month of January gravitated to Christmas.”

So this was centuries after Jesus (peace be upon him) was taken up into the Heavens. In the same Catholic Encyclopedia under the title ‘Natal Day’, the early Catholic father, Origen stated, “In the Scriptures, no one is recorded to have kept a feast or held a banquet on his birthday. It was only the sinners who made great rejoicings over the day in which they were born into this world.”

In the 1946 edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica, it states, “Christmas (or the Mass of Christ) was not from the earliest festivals of the church.” It is clear from these short references that the well-known festival has no basis or authority in Scripture. The 1944 edition of Encyclopedia Americana states, “Christmas: It was, according to many authorities, not celebrated in the first centuries of the Christian Church.” Elsewhere, the Encyclopedia states regarding Christmas, “A feast was established in memory of this event (i.e. the birth of Jesus) in the fourth century. In the fifth century, the Western Church ordered it to be celebrated forever on the day of the old Roman Feast of the birth of Sol, as no certain knowledge of the day of Christ’s birth existed.”

Sol was the solar deity in the Ancient Roman religion. According to at least one ancient source dating back to 354 CE, the Romans held a festival on the twenty-first of December called, “the birthday of the unconquered one” which refers to Sol, the solar deity. The winter solstice (or midwinter) marks the day with the shortest hours of daylight and the longest night of the year. The day after is the day when the sunlight hours start to extend once more, so they saw this as a great day to be celebratedJulius Caesar introduced his own calendar in the year 45 BCE and he marked the winter solstice as the twenty-fifth of December, though it is actually the twenty-first or twenty-second of the month. It is this twenty-fifth day of December that eventually found its way into the Christian Religion, and is celebrated across the world by ill-informed and unlearned Christians, as well as groups of clueless Muslims and people of many other religions.

So for the first three hundred years after Jesus (peace be upon him), the celebration had no connection to Christianity, then in the fourth century it was instituted, and in the fifth, it was ordered by the Western Church. This is similar to what some Muslims have done by introducing a celebration in memory of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). These practices have no basis in scripture or revelation, rather they are latter-day innovations rooted in pagan festivals. [2]

Noble Jesus’s Lineage

First, it is unequivocal that the noble Prophet Isa (Jesus), peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, hailed from Bani Israel. Ibn Al-Athir, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Imran Ibn Mathan, who is the grandfather of Jesus, peace be upon him, and the father of Mary, was a descendant of Sulayman, son of Dawud, peace be upon them. The family of Mathan held prominent positions as leaders and scholars among the Children of Israel. [3]

Imam Ibn Kathir, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated:

“There is no disagreement that she [meaning Maryam, peace be upon her] is from the lineage of Dawud, peace be upon him, and her father, Imran, was the one who led the prayers of the Children of Israel during his time.” [4]

Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated:

“There is no doubt that the people of Musa, peace be upon him, were the Children of Israel, and the Torah was revealed in their language. Likewise, the Children of Israel are the people of Christ, peace be upon him, and he spoke in their tongue. Neither of the two Messengers addressed anyone in any language other than Hebrew; neither spoke in Latin, Syriac, Greek, nor Coptic.” [5]

It is well known among the Christians that Christ spoke exclusively in Hebrew, similar to other prophets of the Israelites. Furthermore, it is noted that He was circumcised on the eighth day, in accordance with the customs of the Israelites, and that He prayed facing their designated direction, rather than towards the east, nor did he instruct others to pray in that direction. [6]

His Miraculous Birth and Message

The narrative of Isa (Jesus), peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, is well known for its precise details found in the final and infallible divine revelation, namely The Qur’an and the Sunnah. Allah, The Most High, stated:

And mention in the Book (the Qur’an, O Muhammad , the story of) Maryam (Mary), when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to a place facing east. She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our Ruh [angel Jibrael (Gabriel)], and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects. She said: “Verily! I seek refuge with the Most Beneficent (Allah) from you, if you do fear Allah.” (The angel) said: “I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son.” She said: “How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor am I unchaste?” He said: “So (it will be), your Lord said: ‘That is easy for Me (Allah): And (We wish) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (Allah), and it is a matter (already) decreed, (by Allah).’ So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place (i.e. Bethlehem valley about 4-6 miles from Jerusalem). And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a date-palm. She said: “Would that I had died before this, and had been forgotten and out of sight!” Then [the babe ‘Iesa (Jesus) or Jibrael (Gabriel)] cried unto her from below her, saying: “Grieve not! Your Lord has provided a water stream under you; and shake the trunk of date-palm towards you, it will let fall fresh ripe-dates upon you. So eat and drink and be glad, and if you see any human being, say: ‘Verily! I have vowed a fast unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) so I shall not speak to any human being this day.’”

Then she brought him (the baby) to her people, carrying him. They said: “O Mary! Indeed you have brought a thing Fariya (an unheard mighty thing). “O sister (i.e. the like) of Harun (Aaron) [not the brother of Musa (Moses), but he was another pious man at the time of Maryam (Mary)]! Your father was not a man who used to commit adultery, nor your mother was an unchaste woman.” Then she pointed to him. They said: “How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?” He [‘Iesa (Jesus)] said: “Verily! I am a slave of Allah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet; and He has made me blessed wheresoever I be, and has enjoined on me Salat (prayer), and Zakat, as long as I live. And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest. And Salam (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!”

Such is ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). (it is) a statement of truth, about which they doubt (or dispute). It befits not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son [this refers to the slander of Christians against Allah, by saying that ‘Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allah]. Glorified (and Exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, “Be!” and it is. [‘Iesa (Jesus) said]: “And verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him (Alone). That is the Straight Path. (Allah’s Religion of Islamic Monotheism which He did ordain for all of His Prophets).” Then the sects differed [i.e. the Christians about ‘Iesa (Jesus)], so woe unto the disbelievers [those who gave false witness by saying that ‘Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allah] from the meeting of a great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection, when they will be thrown in the blazing Fire). How clearly will they (polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) see and hear, the Day when they will appear before Us! But the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) today are in plain error. And warn them (O Muhammad ) of the Day of grief and regrets, when the case has been decided, while (now) they are in a state of carelessness, and they believe not. Verily! We will inherit the earth and whatsoever is thereon. And to Us they all shall be returned. [Maryam 16-40]

And (remember) when the angels said: “O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah has chosen you, purified you (from polytheism and disbelief), and chosen you above the women of the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinns) (of her lifetime). O Mary! Submit yourself with obedience to your Lord (Allah, by worshipping none but Him Alone) and prostrate yourself, and Irka’i (bow down etc.) along with Ar-Raki’un (those who bow down etc.).” This is a part of the news of the Ghaib (unseen, i.e. the news of the past nations of which you have no knowledge) which We inspire you with (O Muhammad ). You were not with them, when they cast lots with their pens as to which of them should be charged with the care of Maryam (Mary); nor were you with them when they disputed.

(Remember) when the angels said: “O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word [“Be!” – and he was! i.e. ‘Iesa (Jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary)] from Him, his name will be the Messiah ‘Iesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allah. He will speak to the people in the cradle and in manhood, and he will be one of the righteous.” She said: “O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me.” He said: “So (it will be) for Allah creates what He wills. When He has decreed something, He says to it only: “Be!” and it is. And He (Allah) will teach him [‘Iesa (Jesus)] the Book and Al-Hikmah (i.e. the Sunnah, the faultless speech of the Prophets, wisdom, etc.), (and) the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel). And will make him [‘Iesa (Jesus)] a Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): “I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah’s Leave; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by Allah’s Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe. And I have come confirming that which was before me of the Taurat (Torah), and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you, and I have come to you with a proof from your Lord. So fear Allah and obey me. Truly! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him (Alone). This is the Straight Path.

Then when ‘Iesa (Jesus) came to know of their disbelief, he said: “Who will be my helpers in Allah’s Cause?” Al-Hawariun (the disciples) said: “We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e. we submit to Allah).” Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger [‘Iesa (Jesus)]; so write us down among those who bear witness (to the truth i.e. La ilaha ill-Allah – none has the right to be worshipped but Allah). And they (disbelievers) plotted [to kill ‘Iesa (Jesus)], and Allah planned too. And Allah is the Best of the planners.

And (remember) when Allah said: “O ‘Iesa (Jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that ‘Iesa (Jesus) is Allah’s son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad , ‘Iesa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Qur’an] till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute.

As to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe torment in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers. And as for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah) and do righteous good deeds, Allah will pay them their reward in full. And Allah does not like the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). This is what We recite to you (O Muhammad ) of the Verses and the Wise Reminder (i.e. the Qur’an). Verily, the likeness of ‘Iesa (Jesus) before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: “Be!” – and he was. (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt. [Aal Imran 42-60]

Therefore, it appears that Steven has either forgotten or intentionally disregarded the crucial detail that Isa (Jesus), peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was specifically sent to the Children of Israel. His teachings were rooted in the Torah, complemented by the Injeel, the new scripture bestowed upon him as a Messenger, and the Children were instructed to adhere to his guidance. Consequently, to confine Christianity solely to a group identified as Christians, while omitting the fact that his initial mission was directed towards the Children of Israel, diverts attention from the fundamental essence of the discussion.

Allah, The Exalted, said:

And (remember) when Jesus, son of Mary, said: ” Children of Israel, I am the Messenger of Allāh to you, confirming what came before me of the Torah and giving good tidings of a Messenger to come after me whose name is Aḥmad”. But when he (the prophesied messenger, Muḥammad) came to them (the Jews) with clear evidences, they said: “This is plain magic”. [As-Saff. 6]

Allah said:

And in their footsteps, We sent ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), confirming the Taurat (Torah) that had come before him, and We gave him the Injeel (Gospel), in which was guidance and light and confirmation of the Taurat (Torah) that had come before it, a guidance and an admonition for the pious. [Al-Ma’idah 46]

“And in their footsteps”, meaning, “We succeeded the prophets of the Children of Israel with Isa (Jesus), son of Mary, who confirmed the Torah that preceded him. Meaning, he believed in it and judge according to its teachings. “And We gave him Injeel (Gospel) in which was guidance and light”, guiding to the truth and a light illuminating the path to removing doubts and solving problems. “And confirmation of the Taurat (Torah) that had come before it”, meaning, adhering to it and not doing other than what is in it, except in a few matters about which they differed, as Allah stated that the Messiah said to tyhe Children of Israel: “And to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you”. This is why the most well-known statement of the scholars (of Islam) is that the Gospel abrogated certain laws of the Torah. [7]

Thus, Steven is reminded that Isa (Jesus), peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, not only upheld the teachings of the Torah but also received the Injeel, accompanied by further guidance. Nevertheless, many Jews during that time rejected his message, sought to undermine his mission, and even plotted against his life, yet Allah protected him. Prior to the arrival of Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, many Jews continued to disbelieve in Jesus, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, while many of his followers had already altered the original teachings of the Injeel, introducing things that were never part of it. Then both groups turned away from Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, when he was sent as the final Messenger, bearing a message intended to guide them all once more.

Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

When Allah, The Exalted, sent Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,, they disbelieved in him, thus their disbelief and misguidance occurred in two ways- substitution of the religion of the first Messenger (i.e. the Messiah) and belied the second Messenger (i.e. Muhammad), just as the Jews substituted the rulings of the Torah before the Messiah was sent and then belied him. The Christians’ denial of Muhammad’s Messengership is a well-known belief of theirs to every Muslim, which is similar to the Jews’ disbelief in the Messiah. The Christians emphasise the disbelief of the Jews greater than what the Jews deserve, because the Jews claimed that the Messiah was a magician and a liar; rather they said that he is an illegitimate child, as Allah informed us about them: [وَقَوۡلِهِمۡ عَلَىٰ مَرۡيَمَ بُہۡتَـٰنًا عَظِيمً۬ا – And their speech against Maryam (Mary)- a grave false charge (that she has committed illegal sexual intercourse]. [An-Nisaa. 156]; but the Christians claimed that the Messiah is Allah, therefore the trial between them and the Jews regarding the Messiah involved a lot of contradictions, misguidance at similar levels and confrontation, and this is why both nations rebuked one another with something more than what each of them deserved, just as Allah said:

The Jews said that the Christians follow nothing; and the Christians said that the Jews follow nothing; though they both recite the Scripture. Like unto their word, said (the pagans) who know not. Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they have been differing. [Al-Baqarah. 113]

Muhammad Bin Abee Muhammad the protege of Zaid Bin Thabit reported from Ikrimah or Saeed Bin Jubayr, who reported from Ibn Abbaas that when the Christian delegation of Najraan came to Allaah’s Messenger, the Rabbis came and argued with them in the presence of the Messenger; so Rabee Bin Hurmilah said, “You are upon nothing” and thus he disbelieved in Isa and all the Injeel. Then a man from the people of Najran said to the Jews, “You are upon nothing”, and thus he willfully denied Musa’s, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, Prophethood and disbelieved in the Torah, thus, Allah revealed: [وَقَالَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ لَيۡسَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ عَلَىٰ شَىۡءٍ۬ وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ لَيۡسَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ عَلَىٰ شَىۡءٍ۬ وَهُمۡ يَتۡلُونَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ‌ۗ -The Jews said that the Christians follow nothing; and the Christians said that the Jews follow nothing; though they both recite the Scripture. [Al-Baqarah. 113]

So each of them recited the affirmation of what they reject in their book- meaning, the Jews disbelieved in Isa whilst they had the Torah in which Allah established the evidence against them through Musa that they should believe in Isa and the Injeel, and Isa confirmed Musa’s Messengership and what he came with. So, each one disbelieved in what was in the possession of the other. [Ibn Abee Hatim. 1/339]

[وَقَالَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ لَيۡسَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ عَلَىٰ شَىۡءٍ۬ – The Jews said that the Christians follow nothing]: Qatadah said regarding this verse, “Certainly, the early Christians were upon something, but they innovated and split”.

[وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ لَيۡسَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ عَلَىٰ شَىۡءٍ۬ – and the Christians said that the Jews follow nothing]: Qatadah said regarding this verse: “Certainly, the early Jews were upon something, but they innovated and split”. The Jews belied the religion of the Christians and said that the Christians were upon nothing; and the Christians denied everything through which the Jews were distinguished from them, even the laws of the Torah which the Messiah did not abrogate; rather he commanded them to act upon it. As for the Jews, they denied many of things through which others were distinguished from them, until they denied the truth brought by Isa.

So, even though the Christians – due to that which they innovated of exaggeration and misguidance – went into extremes in excommunicating the Jews and showed them enmity beyond what is obligated, however there is no doubt that the Jews disbelieved when they belied the Messiah, as Allah [The Exalted] said to the Messiah [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]:

[إِنِّى مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَىَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ڪَفَرُواْ وَجَاعِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوكَ فَوۡقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ – I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that ‘Isa (Jesus) is Allah’s son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad, ‘Isa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Tawrat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Qur’an] till the Day of Resurrection. [Aal Imran. 55]

Allah, The Exalted, said:

Isa the son of Maryam said to Al-Hawariun (the disciples): “Who are my helpers (in the Cause) of Allah?” Al-Hawarieen (the disciples) said: “We are Allah’s helpers” (i.e. we will strive in His Cause!). Then a group of the Children of Israel believed and a group disbelieved. So We gave power to those who believed against their enemies, and they became the uppermost. [As-Saff. 14]

The disbelief of the Christians – due to their denial of Muhammad’s Messengership and – is greater than the disbelief of the Jews due to their denial of the Messiah’s Messengership, because indeed the Messiah only abrogated a little from the Torah and all the laws and acts of worship ordained for him could be traced back to the Torah; however the majority of the beliefs and practices of the Christians were innovated after the departure of the Messiah. That which is found in the Jews’ denial of the Messiah by opposing Allah’s Shariah is not the same as the Christians’ denial of Muhammad, who brought an independent book from Allah, because nothing in the laws of the Qur’an was ordained based on the law of another Messenger. Allah [The Exalted] said:

[أَوَلَمۡ يَكۡفِهِمۡ أَنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡڪِتَـٰبَ يُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ‌ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٲلِكَ لَرَحۡمَةً۬ وَذِڪۡرَىٰ لِقَوۡمٍ۬ يُؤۡمِنُونَ – Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book (the Qur’an) which is recited to them? Verily, herein is mercy and a reminder (or an admonition) for a people who believe]. [Al-Ankabut. 51]

The Qur’an is an independent book like the Torah of Musa, even though the Qur’an is greater than it. And this is why the Christian scholars made a connection between Musa and Muhammad, just as when An-Najaashee [may Allaah have mercy upon him]- the Ethiopian king of the Christians- heard the Qur’an, he said, “Indeed, this and what Musa brought came from the same source”. Also, when Waqarah bin Nawfil, may Allah have mercy upon him, – who was one of Christian Arab scholars- heard the statement of the Prophet, he said, “Indeed, the Naamoos [i.e. Jibreel] who came to you was sent to Musa. I wish that I were young till when your people expel you”. Allaah’s Messenger asked, “Will these people drive me out?” Waraqah said, “Yes, because nobody brought the like of what you have brought, but was treated with hostility. If I were to remain alive till your day (when you start calling to Islam), then I would support you strongly”. [Bukhari]

And this is why Allah mentioned the Torah and the Qur’an together in His statement:

But when the truth (i.e. Muhammad with his Message) has come to them from Us, they say: “Why is he not given the like of what was given to Musa (Moses)? Did they not disbelieve in that which was given to Musa (Moses) of old? They say: “Two kinds of magic [the Tawrat (Torah) and the Qur’an] each helping the other!” And they say: “Verily! In both we are disbelievers.” Say (to them, O Muhammad): “Then bring a Book from Allah, which is a better guide than these two [the Taurat (Torah) and the Qur’an], that I may follow it, if you are truthful.” [Al-Qasas. 48-49]

Allah did not revealed books that were a better guide than the Tawraat and the Qur’an. Then Allah said:

But if they answer you not (i.e. do not believe in your doctrine of Islamic Monotheism, nor follow you), then know that they only follow their own lusts. And who is more astray than one who follows his own lusts, without guidance from Allah? Verily! Allah guides not the people who are Zalimun (wrong-doers, disobedient to Allah, and polytheists). [Al-Qasas. 50] [8]

End this moral distortion- A Brief Dialogue With Sivan Koren

Allah, The Most High, said:

In the above article, one of the things Sivan Koren mentioned was that: “Academia, which should symbolize openness and respectful dialogue, has in many cases transformed into an arena where hate is legitimized. The disturbing case at Columbia University serves as a stark warning. A professor who praised Hamas’s brutal attack – which led to the deaths of over 1,200 Israelis – was allowed to teach a course on Zionism. How can someone like this be entrusted with teaching the history of the Jewish people? This decision is not only a moral affront but also evidence of a profound ethical distortion and irresponsibility on the part of the institution’s leadership”]. [End of quote]

Response: Firstly, Sivan expresses strong disapproval of the professor’s conduct and finds it unreasonable to permit him to teach Jewish history. Indeed, it is noteworthy that individuals who adopt a balanced and equitable perspective on this issue are exceedingly rare. Many either rationalise the actions of Hamas against civilians and non-combatants or remain silent regarding the disproportionate retaliation executed by Netanyahu’s forces. Others may manipulate the narrative, attempting to obscure the fact that this conflict, despite the indefensible nature of Hamas’s unlawful killings, has persisted for over 70 years, marked by relentless vuolence.

Furthermore, the question of whether one condemns Hamas has been reiterated by numerous allies of Netanyahu and journalists, to which truthful individuals have responded with clarity, as evidenced in the reply: “Do you condemn Hamas?”, “we condemn everyone who opposes the Divine Legislation by killing innocent civilians, including non-combatant men, the elderly, women, children, priests, monks and the likes, no matter who they are, Muslim or non-Muslim, whether ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Boko Haram or Benjamin Mileikowsky, the IDF, Settlers and their likes. Our condemnation is on the basis that such actions are unjust and oppose Divine Legislation and not because of the race or ethnicity or religion of the perpetrators, and thus we are able to maintain moral consistency and integrity. This is unlike Western politicians who are able to swiftly condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and support Ukraine (the invaded and occupied in this case) with money and weapons for resistance, but unwilling to condemn the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Gazans, while supporting the Mileikowsky regime with bombs, missiles and military hardware to facilitate the execution of that genocide and ethnic cleansing”. [1] [Refer to this clarification by Shaikh Abu Iyaad at the end of this article]

It is imperative to consider that should this anti-Zionist professor have indeed praised the actions of Hamas, no rational individual would find merit in his assertions, provided that such statements were made explicitly and not distorted by sensationalist narratives. The abhorrent nature of taking innocent lives has already been sufficiently addressed. However, some Zionist leaders, including Netanyahu, have also made profoundly reckless remarks, thus, they must be condemned openly. Unlawful killing is to be openly condemned, irrespective of the faith or political position of its perpetrators, be they Jewish, Christian, or Muslim. Explore the link below to discover some dangerous statements made by certain Zionist figureheads:

Must take a look at what is happening in their own backyard first

Perhaps, one of the most compelling admonitions on this subject comes from Prince Turki Al-Faisal, may Allah protect him. Listen:

Secondly, just as we would reject the assertions made by this professor if he indeed expressed such views, it is equally important to critically evaluate the claims made by journalists such as Melanie Phillips, who commands a larger audience and has previously commented on a subject grounded in research, saying:

“Islamophobia is a bogus label”.

She said:

the taunt of Islamophobia is used to silence any criticism of the Islamic world, including Islamic extremism” and “facilitates” antisemitism. [2]

If Melanie’s assertion pertains to individuals who level accusations against any group of Jews without substantiation or harbour animosity towards them solely based on their ethnicity, it is imperative that the claims of those who profess to experience Islamophobia be rigorously examined. Such individuals may themselves exhibit prejudice, and their assertions could merely represent an unwarranted response to critiques of their behaviour. This is why the issue of anti-Semitism has been previously addressed, highlighting its unequivocal condemnation within Islam. Read:

https://abuiyaad.com/sn/muslims-antisemitism

However, it’s important to ensure that this rejection of anti-Semitism does not serve as a pretext to suppress candid and open dialogue, nor to hinder the presentation of concrete evidence regarding the atrocities committed by members of the IDF and the settlers. For over seventy years, successive Zionist administrations- regardless of whether they are considered less harmful or not – have relentlessly pursued dominance, inflicting suffering, displacement, and humiliation upon the Palestinian people. In addition, Netanyahu quotes abrogated scriptures to justify acts of aggression. Read:

https://abuiyaad.com/a/amalekite-genocide-doctrine-gaza

As for if Melanie’s assertion that “Islamophobia is a bogus label” was intended to suggest that Muslims do not face hatred or discrimination based on their faith, this is indeed reflects an absurd misunderstanding of the realities faced by many individuals within the Muslim community. However, we will refrain from making definitive conclusions about her statement, allowing for multiple interpretations and contexts. We will not assert that Melanie endorses any particular interpretation until she provides further clarification regarding her intended message, whether it aligns with one of the interpretations we have proposed or presents a different perspective altogether. Read:

The Way Forward For Muslim Minorities Living In An Atmosphere of Anti-Islamic Sentiment: Reflections After The Massacre in New Zealand by Abu Khadeejah

As for criticism against the Islamic world, even though the religion of Islam is the final path ordained by the Creator, it does not mean that Muslims are infallible, rather, they are humans who will make mistakes just as any other human being. As for Islam itself, it can never be criticised because it is infallible, and none criticises it except a confused or biased individual.

Regarding extremism, no sane Muslim who understand the revelation – the Qur’an and Sunnah – will condone it, but it is not determined based on human ideas or philosophies or the opinion of ideologues, demagogues and rabble-rousers, rather, extremism – in Islam – is anything that goes beyond what is legislated just as negligence is anything that falls short in a blameworthy manner. Muslims are not infallible; they are, like all humans, susceptible to error. However, the essence of Islam itself remains beyond reproach, as it is considered infallible, and critiques typically arise from individuals who are either misinformed or biased. Islam’s judgement on extremism or negligence is not defined by subjective human ideologies or the perspectives of ideologues, demagogues, and provocateurs. Visit:

http://www.islamagainstextremism.com/

Thirdly, this Melanie also stated: “Across the world, when nations go to war, the average is 1-9: 9 civilians to every combatant killed. 1-1 is unheard of. No country in the world has ever managed to reduce the number of civilians killed in the way that Israel has. Israel is being accused by the prosecutor of the international criminal court of wilfully killing civilians. International law and human rights law has not stopped any of these things. It has not stopped Putin, it has not stopped China…it has not stopped Asad to kill untold thousands of people. It doesn’t stop tyrants. That’s why human rights law has now unfortunately, generally human rights culture, human rights law, human rights institutions, the ICC, the ICJ, the international Court of Justice, the United Nations, the big NGOs (non-governmental organisations) that deal with human rights, they’ve all been captured by an ideology which basically says, “Jewish State of Israel must go”. [3]

Response: The inevitability of collateral damage in warfare is universally acknowledged, irrespective of the party that instigates the conflict. Innocent individuals, who neither initiated nor wished for the war, invariably suffer. Melanie’s portrayal of the actions of the Zionist State attempts to present them as humane and just, yet it is crucial to recognize that, over the past seventy years, no group has endured greater suffering at the hands of the Zionists than the Palestinians. For Muslims from any nation, the past 75 years have been marked by the harrowing accounts of their grandparents, who have either witnessed or heard of the atrocities committed by the Zionists.

Furthermore, Palestinians continue to face the ongoing violence justified under the guise of self-defense and retaliation. Thus, regardless of the parties responsible for unlawful killings in conflicts, the Zionists have undeniably played a significant role in the suffering experienced by the Palestinians.

As for Melanie’s general examination and perspective on international law and human rights, it has been addressed by individuals who possess a true fear of Allah, and the implications of their insights have already been acknowledged.  [Footnote a]

Finally, it is important to acknowledge that if the organisations referenced by Melanie are opposing the Zionists for legitimate reasons, particularly in light of the atrocities committed over the past seventy-five years, especially in recent times, they deserve recognition for their efforts. However, it is essential to remind Melanie that some of these organizations, notably the United Nations, were historically employed by colonial powers to assist Zionists in dispossessing Palestinians of their land, property, dignity, and security. This is an undeniable aspect of history that cannot be overlooked. While it may be convenient for Melanie to assert that these organizations are acting against the Zionist State, it is crucial to recognize that the same UN has been utilized by Christian Zionist ideologues to facilitate the gradual appropriation of land by Zionists up to the present day. A thorough examination of the historical context surrounding these events is necessary. Read a brief historical account on these links:

pro-Jihadi Gospels of a Genocide – A Frank Brief Dialogue With Yisrael Medad

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah, The Most High, said:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. [An-Nisaa. 135]

Brief Clarification:

To begin with, the term Pro-Jihadi refers to the basis or style of certain claims that Yisrael is addressing. This is illustrated by one of Yisrael’s statements as follows:

“The current self-inflicted crucifixion of the Jewish state may not have started with Jews, but by assisting the libelous pro-jihadi gospels of a ‘genocide’ and such, they lend a hand to nailing us all to a new cross of antisemitism.”

In this context, “Pro-Jihadi” clearly points to the origin of the claims, which is neither aligned with Yisrael nor Abdullah. To proceed:

Indeed, the first point we want to clarify to Yisrael Medad is that our Lord has instructed us to uphold justice and bear witness to the truth, no matter who we are addressing, including Yisrael. We do not resort to emotional appeals, a victim mentality, racial or tribal affiliations, or nationalist ties to dismiss the truth and advocate for our own people based on falsehood, as this brings about the wrath and discontent of our creator.

In this brief article, we aim to address Yisrael’s piece by focusing on what is clear rather than relying on speculation, assumptions, or exaggerations. This kind of behavior is often associated with numerous Zionist journalists and academics, particularly during the recent conflict in Palestine.

Yisrael said: “Are Israelis facilitating an anti-Israel blood libel? – opinion [end of quote]

Response: Has the administration of Netanyahu – which includes the likes of of Itamar Ben-Gvir, the leader of Otzma Yehudit, far-right, Kahanist- provided their critics with unequivocal evidence concerning their actions since October 7? – opinion

Yisrael said: Jews can be very dangerous to other Jews. In Medieval times, apostates turned on their former co-religionists. Nicholas Donin brought charges against the Talmud before Pope Gregory IX, which resulted in the burning of twenty-four cartloads of tomes in 1442. Another, Pablo Christiani, lost a public dispute with Nahmanides in Barcelona before James I of Aragon in 1263, and then denounced the Talmud before Pope Clement IV the following year. [end of quote]

Response: Among all groups of people, there exist certain factions that may pose a threat to others; however, this perception of danger can often be quite subjective. Therefore, every assertion of danger needs to be scrutinised to determine if it is genuine, fabricated, or if it is being used subjectively to hinder others from providing truthful accounts against their community, ethnicity, clan, or tribe. In relation to Yisrael’s above statement, our primary focus should be that the discussion of apostasy between Jews and Christians ought to be referred back to the final divine revelation for judgment. Allah, The Most High, said:

And judge (O Muḥammad) between them by what Allāh revealed and do not follow their desires and beware of them (the corrupt scholars of the Jews), lest they tempt you away from some of what Allāh revealed (in the Torah regarding the prescribed punishments for crimes). And if they turn away (from the judgement of the Qurʾān and unabrogated Torah law), then know that Allāh only intends to afflict them with some of their (past) sins (to hasten their punishment). And indeed, many among mankind are (rebellious) sinners. [1]

Secondly, regarding the specifics of the incident referenced by Yisrael, if it was founded on falsehoods, then it is clear that even for those who do not believe in the final Messenger, it remains unacceptable to lie about them. This applies whether the liar is a stranger, an apostate from Islam, a Muslim, a Jew, a Hindu, or anyone else, including adversaries of the victim. The crux of the matter is whether the statements made were true or false; if they are true, they should be recognised as such without inflicting oppression on any member of humanity. If the incident involved lies, misrepresentation, and the concealment of facts aimed at putting those Jews in jeopardy, the wrongdoing of the liar would be deemed even more abhorrent. Despite the well-documented confusion, hidden agendas, and deep-seated animosity among the people of the scripture in history, we do not support any form of injustice. Therefore, while we cannot definitively determine the particulars of that event, we express the above in general terms until concrete evidence regarding the incident is presented. We have been instructed in the Qur’an about the dispute of the people of the Scripture as follows:

So unto this (religion of Islam, alone and this Qur’an) then invite (people) (O Muhammad ), and Istaqim [(i.e. stand firm and straight on Islamic Monotheism by performing all that is ordained by Allah (good deeds, etc.), and by abstaining from all that is forbidden by Allah (sins and evil deeds, etc.)], as you are commanded, and follow not their desires but say: “I believe in whatsoever Allah has sent down of the Book [all the holy Books, this Qur’an and the Books of the old from the Tawrat (Torah), or the Injeel (Gospel) or the Pages of Ibrahim (Abraham)] and I am commanded to do justice among you, Allah is our Lord and your Lord. For us our deeds and for you your deeds. There is no dispute between us and you. Allah will assemble us (all), and to Him is the final return. [Ash-Shuraa. 15]

“and I am commanded to do justice among you”.

Meaning, when passing judgement regarding that which you have differed between yourselves.

Therefore, your enmity and hatred does not prevent me from judging with justice between you. And part of justice is that when judging between people who make different statements – amongst the people of the Scripture and others – one accepts what they possess of truth and reject what they possess of falsehood. [2]

Yisrael said: A more modern example was the meeting that bi-nationalist promoter Judah L. Magnes had on May 4, 1948, with US secretary of state George Marshall. Magnes insisted “the Jewish community in Palestine is an artificial development” and “the money now contributed to the Jewish community was being used solely for war which eats up everything. Furthermore, he was “certain that, if contributions from the United States were cut off, the Jewish war machine in Palestine would come to a halt for lack of financial fuel.” The next morning he repeated his thoughts to president Harry S. Truman. [end of quote]

Response: Our goal on this point is not to delve into the political disputes between the Jewish community and those among them who oppose Zionism. Instead, our primary focus is to confront the harmful tactics employed by Netanyahu and his associates, which involve distorting history and laying claim to what is not rightfully theirs, ultimately leading to acts excessive retaliation after October 7. Furthermore, certain American ideologues and demagogues behave as if they have lost all ability to distinguish betwen right and wrong when required to do so, but we are well aware that their actions stem from a historical collaboration of misinterpreted texts. Yisrael said: Subsequent to the charge that Israel’s government is engaging in a “hobby” of killing Gaza babies, former prime minister Ehud Olmert joined the fray and told the BBC that Israel’s actions in Gaza are “close to a war crime.” In a May 27 column in Haaretz, he referred to the current government as a “criminal gang” led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

That, seemingly, wasn’t sufficient enough media exposure, so the former prime minister talked with the New Yorker magazine. That publication’s June 6 headline read, “Why Ehud Olmert Thinks His Country Is Committing War Crimes.”

Olmert’s opinion is that there is “no purpose that can justify the expansion of these military activities.” He told his interviewer, Isaac Chotiner, that “The perception in Israel is that this is a personal war or illegitimate war that is being conducted exclusively because of the political interests of the prime minister. This is a crime.”

For good measure, he added that there is an “understanding that Netanyahu doesn’t want to reach an agreement with Hamas for the release of the hostages.” Not only are Netanyahu and the IDF indiscriminately killing Gaza civilians but, it would appear, Israel’s hostages as well, as Olmert spins it. [end of quote]

Response: The entire world observes the actions of the Netanyahu Regime, yet you find yourself preoccupied with the opinions of a select few among you? Should you not be more concerned about your standing before your Lord than the fear of criticism grounded in reality? Both Jews and non-Jews are aware of the unfolding events; anyone possessing a modicum of common sense and a shred of humanity can clearly discern the actions of Netanyahu in Gaza. It is as evident as the midday sun. They are engaging in war crimes and genocide! This is an undeniable truth, even if Ehud were to assert otherwise. Regardless of Ehud’s perspective, your warfare is recognised and clearly perceived as excessive, driven by an agenda to eradicate all Palestinians from their homeland, accompanied with murder, maiming, deceit, playing the victim, and distorting the narrative. This alone constitutes a crime, irrespective of what any influential figure may proclaim in favour or against Netanyahu. As for the actions of Hamas on October 7 against non-combatants and unarmed civilians, such behaviour cannot be justified by anyone possessing common sense or even a modicum of decency. Listen to this link for the rebuke aimed at Netanyahu’s Administration and Hamas by Prince Turki Al-Faisal, may Allah preserve him.

Therefore, should you believe that there is indeed spinning at play, you are fully entitled to hold that view and engage in discourse with those whom you deem responsible for such spinning. Nevertheless, the undeniable truth remains that Netanyahu’s actions towards the Palestinians are as evident as the midday sun, and they can only be described as genocide.

Yisrael said: Chotiner does inform the reader that “allegations of corruption cut short his political career” and that. Olmert “did serve more than a year in prison.” Odd, though, that simple “allegations” managed to imprison him.

THE PERCEPTIVE reader will notice that Olmert employed the tactic of shifting his evidence by reshuffling the deck. In what “Israel” has that “perception” of his occurred? How many people are involved? Of what ideological stripe are they? Do they possess personal interests? Such a portrayal of the current situation is tantamount to a treacherous Lord Haw-Haw performance.

Perhaps Olmert himself was seeking to resurrect his own public memory, like others. For example, in an interview with Israeli outlet Ynet on May 9, Moshe Ya’alon, a former defense minister, joined in the discordant chorus and said Israel was carrying out a campaign of “ethnic cleansing” in Gaza.

He attacked the current military chief of staff, Eyal Zamir, saying he was not stopping “clearly illegal orders” and was ordering “his soldiers to be war criminals.” Adamantly, he said, “Call it ethnic cleansing, call it transfer, call it deportation – it’s a war crime.” To Channel 12 news, Ya’alon said: “I don’t say anymore [that the IDF is] the most moral army in the world.”

These types of charges are not new. Those with long memories can recall the late Meretz MKs Shulamit Aloni and Yossi Sarid outside then prime minister Menachem Begin’s residence in Jerusalem. They were at a late September 1982 demonstration protesting the conduct of the First Lebanon War.

From those gathered, cries of “Begin is a murderer” could be clearly heard. Right-of-center politicians in Israel rarely merit anything less than vicious besmirching from their political rivals, especially when the latter are in the opposition. [end of quote]

Response: These are merely your internal issues, which bear no relation to us. The real question is whether your retaliatory war is justified in its execution, especially considering that you have been the instigators of this conflict since 1948, accompanied by acts of brutality. Regardless of the political, ideological, or personal disputes among you and your various interests, the undeniable truth is that Netanyahu is guilty of genocide. Furthermore, whatever transpired during Olmert’s administration, all participants in the Zionist endeavour share responsibility, albeit to varying degrees. Nevertheless, the current emphasis must be on the fact that Netantahu is engaged in genocide, unequivocally. To label the Zionist IDF as the most moral army is one of the greatest falsehoods of our time and a profound affront to the intelligence of anyone possessing even a modicum of common sense. How can such claims be made when members of your military have since 1948, brutalised, murdered, displaced, and treated the Palestinian people in the most callous manner, all while the world looks on? Since 1948, their actions are well-documented, regardless of whether some among you have opposed them at times. All of this is irrelevant to the fact that Netanyahu engaged in genocide.

Yisrael said: Jewish in-fighting rarely remains inside, however. It quite often grants outsiders the ammunition to justify their hate and biases.

IT IS in this divisive internal atmosphere that we could read on June 10 that UN experts issued a report that Israel is committing an “extermination” in Gaza by killing in schools. Those “experts,” of course, were members of the infamous Independent International Commission of Inquiry of Palestinian Territory. Their next report (there have been at least seven) is already out and is to be presented at the Geneva-based UN Human Rights Council’s 59th session this or next month. [end of quote]

Response: No race, clan, tribe, religious, or political group is devoid of moments of unity or discord, whether these arise from truth or falsehood, or are driven by the sinister intentions of a faction among them. Nevertheless, this does not alter the undeniable reality of Netanyahu’s malevolent actions against the Palestinians, which are evident to all. These actions may be rightly scrutinised by fellow Jews seeking accountability, or they may be wrongfully exploited by others to fuel anti-Semitic sentiments. Thus, the crux of the matter lies in achieving a fair equilibrium, ensuring that Netanyahu is held responsible for his atrocious acts by all nations and organisations, while simultaneously guarding against the temptation to punish these actions through the lens of anti-Semitic bias. Both genocide and anti-semitism are crimes in the sight of Allah. Read below:

Yisrael said: Already back on May 21, we were informed that UN experts were calling on the Security Council to protect women and girls in Gaza as Israel’s “attacks [possess]… distinctly gendered consequences.” They added that “The devastation experienced by women, girls, and entire communities is not incidental – it is the consequence of intentional policies and actions by Israel.”

That new report added that “Israeli authorities have particularly targeted female educators and students, intending to deter women and girls from activism in public places.” How could Israel particularly single out females? What new technological advances exist for this new blood libel to emerge? [end of quote]

Response: This is an astonishing display of victim mentality! No matter the specifics of some individuals’ actions in the IDF, it is abundantly clear to all that they have been responsible for the deaths of doctors, teachers, journalists, and others. This is widely recognised in this conflict. They have taken more lives in these professions than anyone else in recent history. Additionally, just as Netanyahu and his associates consistently exploit anti-Semitism to obscure their misdeeds and maintain a victim narrative, they also invoke this ‘blood libel card’ whenever they are justly accused of brutality. Regarding the particular targeting of women, whether this is precisely documented or not is not the crux of the matter; rather, what must be addressed is the killing that evidently placed all doctors in harm’s way. Thus, whether the IDF forces under Netanyahu specifically target females is irrelevant; the crimes of many among them are thoroughly documented.

Yisrael said: Previously, we were fed fantasies of dogs who could sniff out Arabs from Jews as well as other animal conspiracies from sharks to wild boars to dolphins doing our bidding. In July 2009, Hamas charged Israeli intelligence services with supplying chewing gum to Gaza that “boosts the sex drive in order to corrupt the young,” a regurgitation of the 1997 tale spread by the Palestinian Authority of strawberry-flavored chewing gum laced with progesterone.

These Israeli voices are influencing Jews abroad. Rick Jacobs, president of America’s Union for Reform Judaism, wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post on May 12 urging Israel to abandon a policy of “starving Gazan civilians,” calling it “immoral.” Needless to say, Israel is not engaged in such a policy.

The current self-inflicted crucifixion of the Jewish state may not have started with Jews, but by assisting the libelous pro-jihadi gospels of a “genocide” and such, they lend a hand to nailing us all to a new cross of antisemitism. [end of quote]

Response: The responsibility to provide evidence lies with the claimant. Any accusations made against Netanyahu’s regime must be substantiated with proof; otherwise, we shall dismiss them. However, this does not negate the undeniable reality that they members of the IDF have engaged in acts of genocide. A criminal is answerable for his offenses, yet he is not deemed guilty of other alleged crimes, despite the presence of sinister suspicions surrounding him. Consequently, due to their transgressions, we harbour a dark suspicion regarding them, but nothing can be attributed to them unless it is verified and confirmed with evidence. Regarding the genocide, which is as evident as the midday sun, we acknowledge it and hold them responsible. As for what they perceive as mere fantasies of the past, we shall leave that to them and those who accuse them until it is clarified in the future; however, their other offenses since 1948 are glaringly apparent to all. Their deliberate starvation of the Gazans was observed by everyone, whether Jewish or non-Jewish. Even if universally denied, it remains an undeniable truth. Thus, the basis of the self-inflicted crucifixion is not caused by anyone other than those who commit acts that are recognised and condemned by all who possess even a modicum of humanity, irrespective of their race. No matter who articulates the truth of their actions, whether misguided pro-jihadis like ISIS, Al-Qaeda, or others, or anyone else, it remains a fact if the evidence is presented. The sensible hold them accountable solely for their crimes while also combating antisemitism, for both their actions and antisemitism are deemed unlawful in the sight of the Creator. The pro-Zionists will not be allowed to hijack the narrative InShaAllah whenever it is necessary to respond to them.

And Allah knows best

[2] An Excerpt from Tafseer As-Sadi

Some Scholarly Clarifications on Certain Rotten Apples Who Preceded the Blazing Bid’ee Daniel Haqiqatjou

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Shaikh Shamsuddeen Al-Afghaaniy, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Allah guided mankind through Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and the manifest proofs given to him – guidance that surpassed the knowledge of those with great perception and could not be described by those who were well-versed in the art of description. Allah opened the hearts of the heedless, the ears of the deaf, and the eyes of the blind through this guidance. They were in a state of disharmony, harboured animosity toward one another, and adhered to perverse creeds before Allah united them under a single religion. Allah united their hearts, and as a result of this great blessing, they became true brothers in Islam. Following that, everything worshipped besides Allah, such as graves, trees, stones, and idols, ceased to exist, and all worship was established for Allah alone. [Footnote a]

People followed the true religion of Islamic monotheism and worshiped Allah alone, except for those whom Allah decreed would remain as polytheists, hypocrites, and adherents of the altered and distorted previous scriptures. The darkness of polytheism was dispelled, and the banner of Tawhid was raised in Arab and non-Arab lands. Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] died while Islam was established and in authority, superseding all other ways of life and creeds. The Messenger’s rightly guided khulafaa [Footnote b] continued to follow the Messenger’s path until the two powerful and great nations at the time, Rome and Persia, ended up in humiliation, degradation, and fear after they had been in security, and thus Caesar was restricted and besieged, and Chosroes was subdued and destroyed.

When the enemies of Islam realised they couldn’t destroy the religion, they planted agents within it – those who pretended to be Muslims -to sow confusion, trials, and tribulations, and spread polytheism by exaggerating the status of the pious and exalting their graves. As a result, the Ummah was exposed to temptations by Abdullah Bin Saba’s plots, who claimed that Ali Ibn Abi Talib deserved to be worshipped. The Saba’iyyah were Abdullah Bin Sabah’s followers, who were later known as the Rawafid, Ismaliyyah, Nusayriyah, and others among the Batiniyyah. They worshiped the graves and their inhabitants and erected places of worship and shrines over them. As a result of these practices, they revived the (corrupt) practices of the Jews, Christians, and idol worshippers (i.e. those among them who abandoned the correct path of their Prophets). This is how grave worshippers’ practices manifested in this Ummah, through practices initiated by the Rawafid. [Footnote c]

Furthermore, Greek philosophical texts that promoted the concepts of grave worship and idolatry were translated into the Arabic language and gained significant attention among individuals identifying with Islam, such as Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina Al-Hanafi, and Naseer At-Toosee, who advocated disbelief and polytheism, and those who sought to manipulate the teachings of Islam, akin to Paul’s manipulation of Christianity. The Greek Philosophers influenced and led them to advocate for grave worship through Greek Philosophy. The practices of these individuals were prevalent among the followers of rhetoric among the Hanafi Maturidiyyah and the Ash’ariyyah Kullabiyyah, as they immersed themselves in the works of the Philosophers. Consequently, they became proponents of grave worship and adhering to the Jahmiyyah creed. Among these individuals were Taftaazaanee Al-Hanafi, who was renowned as a philosopher of the Maturidiyyah and a follower of grave worship, and Jurjaanee Al-Hanafi, a proponent of superstitious beliefs. [Footnote d]

Another group of people arose within the Muslim community who posed an even greater threat and were more misguided than the aforementioned groups. These individuals adopted an outward appearance of piety, donning the attire of righteousness with tearful eyes, lengthy beards, towering turbans, and clutching large prayer beads. They deceitfully claimed to advocate for the teachings of the Prophet, while clandestinely engaging in despicable practices inherited from false religions. They attempted to mix blatant lies with the Qur’an and the authentic narrations to corrupt the clear proofs found in the Qur’an and the Sunnah. These deviant heretics are known as the Hululiyyah, Ittihadiyyah Grave Worshipers, such as the likes of Al-Hallaj (309AH), Ibn Al-Farid (632AH) Ibn Arabi (638AH), Ibn Sab’in (669AH), etc [Footnote e] [1]

Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated:

Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated that the ultimate outcome for those who engage in theological rhetoric is a state of uncertainty and perplexity, while the ultimate outcome for the followers of the Sufi paths is characterised by erratic and irrational behavior along with false claims. The innovators in religious matters among the proponents of theological rhetoric have something of a resemblance to the Jews and those who innovate acts of worship in religious matters have something of a resemblance to the Christians [i.e. those Jews and Christians who deviated after the departure of their Prophets]. That is because these ones [proponents of theological rhetoric] deny the truth and are led to doubt, and those ones [those who innovate acts of worship] believe in falsehood and are led to irrational behavior. These ones are like the darkness in a vast deep sea, overwhelmed by a great wave topped by another great wave, topped by dark clouds, darkness, one above another; and those ones are like a mirage in a desert, the thirsty one thinking it’s water until he comes up to it and discovers it’s nothing. [2]

Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated:

Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated that the people in their pursuit of knowledge and religion have two innovated paths and a path legislated in the Shari’ah. The path of Islamic legislation involves examining the teachings of the Messenger, utilising them as evidence, and implementing the necessary actions. Therefore, it is imperative to possess knowledge based on the teachings of the Messenger and to act upon them, and merely possessing one of these two is insufficient. As for the two innovated paths, one of them is the path of people who engage in innovated theological discourse and this path is fraught with falsehood. Many of its adherents neglect the obligations prescribed by Allah and His Messenger, leading them to remain in a state of corruption in knowledge and action. Consequently, these individuals deviate towards false Judaism. The second path is taken by people who adopt methods to enhance their spiritual well-being, namely the followers of the Sufi paths, who introduce new forms of worship. These individuals tend to deviate towards false Christianity as they claim that by purifying one’s soul according to their prescribed methods, one will effortlessly acquire extensive knowledge of religious sciences without learning. The worship practices of many of these people are innovated, rather, they contradict the teachings of the Messenger. As a result, they continue to engage in corrupt actions and corruption due to their lack of understanding of the Messenger’s teachings because they do not know what the Messenger conveyed. Neither Allah’s Messenger nor his companions followed the path of those who introduced innovations in religion, such as the proponents of theological rhetoric, nor the path of the proponents of innovated worship and Sufiyyah. Instead, he adhered to what Allah had sent him with, which is based on the Qur’an and Sunnah. [3]

Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi Al-Madkhali, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated: Ibn Al-Jawzi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said, Abu Al-Wafaa Ibn Aqeel Al-Faqee, may Allah have mercy upon him, said, our Shaikh Ab Al-Fadl Al-Hamdani, may Allah have mercy upon him, said, ”The individuals who innovate in Islam and the fabricators of Hadeeth are worse than the heretics, as the latter seeks to corrupt Islam externally, while the former aims to corrupt it internally. They (the former) are similar to the people of a country who attempt to corrupt it from within, while the heretics are similar to those who lay siege from outside, so, the ones from within open the fortress. Thus, they are more harmful to Islam than those who do not openly associate themselves with it”. [4]

Imam Ahmad, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: “There is none more harmful to the people of Islam than the Jahmiyyah. They do not desire other than to nullify the Qur’an and the (authentic) narrations of the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]”. [5]

Al-Hafidh Abdul Ghaniyy Al-Maqdisi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said, “(You) should know – may Allah have mercy upon you – that Islam and its people are undermined by three groups and the group that rejects the (authentic) narrations regarding the Attributes of Allah and belie its (reliable) narrators are more harmful to Islam and its people than the disbelievers”. [6]

Ibn Aqeel [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “There is none more harmful to the Shariah than the innovators among the proponents of theological rhetoric and the ignorant Sufis”. [7]

Imam Ibn Al-Jawzi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: “Exhortations are mostly employed when addressing the general public, particularly the common people, thus, the ignorant storytellers managed to find a way to achieve their objectives. Their innovations in the religion continued to escalate until it resulted in significant harm and they initiated evil through their deeds, statements, and goals”. [8]

Yunus Ibn Abdil A’laa, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: I heard Ash-Shafi’ee, may Allah have mercy upon him, saying, “It would be better for a man to be tempted by everything Allah has forbidden, except for the sin of associating partners with Allah in worship, rather than involving himself in theological rhetoric. This is because I have encountered certain matters from the proponents of theological rhetoric that I never expected to encounter”. [9]

Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated, “May Allah curse Amr Ibn Ubaid because indeed he initiated this innovation from theological rhetoric. If theological rhetoric was knowledge, the companions of the Messenger and the Taabi’een would have spoken about it just as they spoke about rulings and laws of the religion, however, it is falsehood and leads to falsehood”. [10.a]

An Example of a Misguided One Called Al-Jahiz Who Was Known to Read a Lot and Wrote Many Books, But Well-known For Jesting and Twiddling With The Religion

Ibn Qutaybah, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated about Al-Jaahiz: “You find him arguing at times for the Uthmaniyyah over the Rafidah, and sometimes for the Zaydiyyah over the Uthmaniyyah and Ahlus Sunnah, and sometimes he gave precedence to Ali,  may Allah be pleased with him, and sometimes he placed him behind others. He wrote a book in which he mentioned the arguments of the Christians against the Muslims, and when he embarked upon refuting them, he relinquished some of the proof as if he wanted to alert them to what they did not know and to cast doubt on the weak (people) among the Muslims, and you find him intending in his books to mock and twiddle. He mocked at hadith in a way that was not hidden from the scholars, while he was one of the Ummah’s greatest liars, fabricators of hadith, and the most supportive of falsehood”. [10.b]

Imam Adh-Dhahabi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said about Al-Jaahiz: “He was an insolent person, one who was very negligent in his practice of the religion and held strange views”. [10.c] “It was apparent from his traits that he used to fabricate”. [10.d] “He was from the figureheads of Bidah”. [10.e] Al-Baghdaadee, may Allah have mercy upon him, said, “Al-Jaahiz used to transmit a lot of innovated beliefs in his books”. [10.f] “Neither reliable nor trustworthy, rather, he was one of the figureheads of Bidah”. [10.g]

Al-Allamah Salih Al-Fawzan,  may Allah preserve him, stated:

It is not permissible to transmit false and fabricated narrations and then attribute them to the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]. That is because many amongst the people of misguidance and (vain) desires fabricate narrations, utilise them as proof, and declare them authentic when (such narrations) agree with their desires. But when the authentic narrations oppose their desires, either they belie or distort and explain them (in a manner other than what is intended by) their correct meanings. This is the state of affairs of the people of misguidance. They search for fabricated and false narrations, present them to the people, and utilise them as proof if it agrees with their desires. Also one of the characteristics of a hypocrite is that he lies when he speaks, therefore, do not speak to the people unless you are truthful (in what you say), and do not speak too much regarding the narrations in that which is no benefit out of fear of falling into lies. The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “It is enough (to be considered as) lying that a man speaks about everything that he hears”. [Saheeh Sunan Abee Dawud. Number 4992] [11]

Al-Allamah Salih Al-Fawzan, may Allah preserve him, stated:

Ahlul Ahwaa, such as the Mutazilah, the khawarij, the Rawafid, and others, are the ones responsible for causing the wars and discord. Fitnah (turmoil) only arises from them and is a result of them. Who was responsible for the assassination of Uthman? Who was behind the murder of Ali? Who were the ones that ignited turmoil among the Muslims thereafter? It was none other than these individuals driven by their desires. Who misled Al-Mamoon and those rulers who came after him to persecute Ahlus Sunnah, and ultimately led to the beating and imprisonment of their Imam – Ahmad Bin Hanbal? It was none else other than Ahlul Ahwaa! Who initiated the imprisonment of Shaikh Al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah until he died in prison? It was none else other than Ahlul Ahwaa! It is our responsibility to exercise caution towards these people, as their fitnah ultimately results in the fragmentation of Muslim unity, rebellion against Muslim leaders, and splitting within the Muslim community, leading to the emergence of divergent groups and parties. This stands in stark contrast to the concept of a united Ummah. [12]

Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Madkhali, may Allah have mercy upon him said:

After speaking about those who make Takfeer based on falsehood [f] amongst the different factions of the Jahmiyah [g], the Khawarij [h], the Rawafid and the Qadariyyah [i], and the reason behind such Takfeer, Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated:

“On the opposite side of these people who make Takfeer based on falsehood, there are people who do not know the creed of Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jama’ah as it should be, or they know some and are ignorant of some. And perhaps what they know of it, they do not clarify for the people, rather they conceal it. Neither do they forbid Bidah nor censure ahlul bidah and punish them; rather, perhaps they would censure speech related to the Sunnah and the fundamental principles of the religion – completely – and would not differentiate – in that – between what Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah say [i.e. adherents to the sound Prophetic Sunnah and sound unity] and what ahlul bidah wal furqah say [i.e. the proponents of innovation in religious affairs who split (disunite due to their opposition to the correct path)], or they would affirm all their differing Madhabs [creeds, paths] in a manner similar to how the scholars would affirm the different opinions related to affairs of Ijtihaad about which difference of opinion is justified. [j] This path has overwhelmed many of the Murji’ah, some of the jurists, those pursuing the path of asceticism and the philosophers, just as it has overwhelmed – first and foremost – many amongst the people of (vain) desires and rhetoric. Both these paths are perverted, outside the Book [i.e. The Qur’an] and the Sunnah”. [End of Quote]

After quoting the above statement of Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, Al-Allamah Rabee said, “I say, may Allah have mercy on Ibn Tamiyyah. Indeed, he clarified the situation of the people of his era and those before them, then what if he saw the situation of many amongst the Al-Jamaa’aat Al-Hizbiyyah Wal-Bid’iyyah [The Groups of Illegal Partisanship and Bidah] [k] who ascribe themselves to Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jamaa’ah and take cover behind them – in particular – to promote their falsehoods! What if he saw them whilst they have definitely gathered between the Madhabs [creeds, paths] of the two groups- the khawaarij and those who follow their way in pronouncing Takfeer in the subject matter of Al-Haakimiyyah [l] and the way of the Mur’jiah [m] in the manner they approach the affair of people who are upon the big and numerous innovations in religious affairs, and equating innovation in religion to those affairs of the religion in which Ijtihaad is justified, whose people are rewarded alongside a refutation against their mistakes! In the view of these people, the leaders of Misguidance and Bidah are like the Imams of Guidance and Sunnah. [n] [13]

Finally, Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said, “Rather what is obligatory is to clarify that which Allah sent His Messengers with and (revealed) in His Books, propagate that which the Messengers brought from Allah and fulfil the covenant which Allah took from the scholars. Therefore, it is obligatory to know that which the Messengers brought, believe in it, propagate it, call to it, striving with it, weigh up all that which the people embark upon – [statements, actions, religious fundamentals and subsidiary issues pertaining to the apparent actions of the Limbs and affairs related to actions of the heart]- under the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, neither following desires [through] customs, a school of law, a religious order, a leader or a predecessor, nor following conjecture through a weak hadeeth or corrupt analogy, regardless whether it is an analogy that offers some degree of certainty or not, or blindly following someone who it is not obligated to follow his statement and action because Allah -in His Book – has censured those who follow conjecture and that which their souls desire, whilst they abandon following that which came to them from their Lord of Guidance”. [14]

Allah, The Most High, said:

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يَتْلُونَهُۥ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

Those to whom We have given the Book (the Torah and the Qurʾān), recite it as it truly should be recited (through sincere, honest implementation of its teachings, without distorting them). They are the ones who (truly) believe in it. And whoever disbelieves in it, then they are the losers.

Imām al-Ṭabarī brings the following reports: Ibn ʿAbbās and ʿIkrimah: “They follow it as it truly should be followed.” Ibn ʿAbbās: “They accept as lawful what it makes lawful, accept as unlawful what it makes unlawful, and do not distort its words from their proper places.” Mujāhid: “They act upon it as it truly should be acted upon.” Ibn Masʿūd and Qatādah: “They treat as lawful what it makes lawful and treat as unlawful what it makes unlawful. They recite it as it was revealed by Allāh. They do not distort its words from their proper places and they do not explain anything of it with other than its (true) explanation.” Al-Ḥasan: “They act upon its decisive verses (muḥkam), believe in its ambiguous verses (mutashābih), and entrust the knowledge of what is difficult for them to its knower”. [15]

Footnote j: What is Ijtihaad: https://www.abukhadeejah.com/tolerated-differing-and-impermissible-differing-in-islaam/ ]

Amr bin Al-Aas [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated that he heard Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] saying, ‘’If a Mujtahid gives a verdict according to the best of his knowledge and his verdict is correct, he will receive a double reward, and if he gives a verdict according to the best of his knowledge and his verdict is wrong, even then he will get a reward.’’ [Bukhari Number 7352]

Few Issues From This Hadeeth

[a] A Mujtahid (a scholar who strives to reach a judgement) is not deprived of reward. [b] The judgement of a non-Mujtahid is different from that of a Mujtahid. Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said that the one who speaks about the religion without knowledge and out of ignorance [is guilty of] lying and sinning. The one who intentionally speaks to oppose the truth is threatened with entry into the fire of hell, as opposed to the affair of the one who speaks based on permissible Ijtihad, for indeed he strives, fears Allah as much as he is able, desires to seek knowledge as much as he was able, speaks for the sake of Allah, knows the stronger proof and speaks based on that. This person is given two rewards if he is correct; but if he is mistaken, he receives one reward. [c] A Mujtahid can be correct or mistaken. [Arba’oona Hadeethaa Fee Usoolil Fiqh. pages 32-33]

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee said, “We do not say that there are people of ijtihaad amongst ahlul bidah because they are followers of desires, and Allaah and His Messenger have testified to this. The misguided innovator stirs up discord and errs, and then says to you, ‘This is ijtihaad’. When Hikmatiyaar and the misguided parties [in Afghanistan] murdered Shaikh Jameel Ur-Rahmaan, they said: ‘This is ijtihaad.’ They do not fall into an affair of misguidance or a calamity except that they say, “This is ijtihaad.” This is [tantamount] to diluting Islaam, falsehood, misguidance, bidah and confounding truth with falsehood, when the mistakes of the [true and qualified scholars of ijtihaad]- for which they are rewarded- are placed at the same level with innovation, about which the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] declared to be a path that will lead to the hell fire”. A Dialogue with Eric R. Mandel on Entitlement, Fair Play, and Accountability

[An-Nisaa. 135]

Firstly, in this article, we will use the term Zionist in general when referring to both Netanyahu and Eric, as well as any behaviour or statement that is distinctly identified as a characteristic of certain Zionists in their interactions with Palestinians since 1948. This definition will also extend to anyone else who shares similar views, whether they are Netanyahu or others. However, it is important to clarify that our application of the term Zionist does not include all Jews, as there are Jews who neither subscribe to Netanyahu’s views nor endorse his actions. Furthermore, no individual should be held accountable for the actions of others, regardless of whether they are Jewish, Muslim, Christian, or belong to any other group. Just as Muslims should not be blamed for the actions of ISIS, Hamas, and similar groups when they engage with non-combatants in a manner forbidden by Islam, Christians and Jews should not be held responsible for the actions of any faction or group among them unless an individual, irrespective of their affiliation, endorses the actions of oppressors, murderers, and transgressors. And even in instances where an individual attempts to rationalise an atrocity through ideology rather than actions, or through actions themselves, we do not resort to vigilantism—whether in Europe or in Muslim-majority countries. Instead, it is obligatory that one does not take the law into his own hands.

Secondly, in this article, we aim to briefly examine the views of the author as a reminder of what was intentionally overlooked to justify the excessive retaliation that ensued following Hamas’s attack on non-combatants and civilians on October 7th. It is undeniable that Hamas, or any group identifying with Islam, cannot be condoned for inflicting harm on non-combatants or unarmed individuals, just as some among the various Zionist administrations in Palestinian cannot evade accountability for their actions against the Palestinians since 1948 and particularly after October 7th. In our humble opinion, no one has yet provided a more deserving rebuke to both Hamas and Netanyahu’s administration than Prince Turki Al-Faisal, may Allah preserve him. Now, we will cite Eric’s statements and provide some commentary on them.

Eric Stated: Europe’s anti-Israel bias: The EU’s problem with Jews and the Jewish state – opinion. [end of quote]

Response: Zionist self-entitlement and anti-Muslim propaganda: The Zionist problem with Muslims and the Muslim Ummah – opinion.

Eric stated: They say: One can rationalize the cowardice of the European position, as it is dealing with its own growing Islamist population and the demographic decline of its indigenous citizens. [end of quote]

Response: One can rationalise the destructive stubbornness of Netanyahu’s Administration, as it continuously disregarded the moral outrage and fierce opposition from the masses against his brutality and the global decline of his propaganda efforts. Regarding the mention of the Muslim population in Europe, Eric should have pointed out that if Europe had not colonised numerous Muslim countries, there might have been a different kind of interaction between Europe and the peoples of those former colonies. Furthermore, even if there was a decline in Europe’s indigenous population, it seems far-fetched to believe that the author genuinely cares about the welfare of Europe. Instead, what often deeply concerns some Zionist apologists is their anxiety over a Europe composed of a population that no longer aligns with their interests, or at the very least, a Europe influenced by a segment of its citizens that might influence their governments to immediately stop the crimes of committed by Netanyahu and his predecessors. However, the author will never acknowledge this; instead, he resorts to fearmongering to incite nationalistic feelings. The right course of action for Netanyahu’s regime is to confront their issues rather than seek out supporters to aid them in perpetuating their genocide and undermining Palestinian sovereignty.

Eric stated: When have you heard a European leader demand that Hamas surrender, stop using its civilians as human shields, stop using its mosques, schools, and hospitals as staging grounds, or require the terrorist leadership to leave the Gaza Strip without creating a moral equivalence between Israeli and Hamas actions? The answer is “Rarely,” and that includes the first few weeks after the atrocities of October 7, before Israel had even begun its campaign to uproot Hamas. [end of quote]

Response: When have we ever heard a member of Netanyahu’s government call for the IDF to cease its murder of Palestinians, rather than using self-defense as a justification? It’s remarkable that a government boasting the most powerful secret service, capable of infiltrating enemy nations and executing targets from thousands of miles away, struggles to confront Hamas right at its doorstep. If Hamas employs human shields, the IDF has also resorted to similar tactics; in fact, they can still implement the Hannibal code and the Dahiyah doctrine. They have also utilised white phosphorus in the past. Read below:

White Phosphorus!

While Hamas’s actions on October 7 cannot be condoned, similarly Netanyahu genocidal actions – perpetrated in the name of self-defense- can never be forgotten. Rather than attempting to protest moral equivalence to rationalise his actions under the pretext of Hamas’s crimes against non-combatants, he should have immediately halt the killings. Furthermore, the events of October 7 are merely one in a long line of confrontations dating back to 1948, and Zionist atrocities are well-documented. Read: https://salafidawahmanchester.com/2025/01/22/a-message-from-a-war-criminal-to-the-world-engaging-in-a-dialogue-with-jane-kiel/

Eric stated: When America’s ambassador to the UN, Dorothy Shea, vetoed a June 2025 UNSC resolution calling for Israel to accept a ceasefire leaving Hamas in place, which every nation on the Security Council, including the French and British, voted in favor of, she told the Security Council: “We would not support any measure that fails to condemn Hamas and does not call for Hamas to disarm and leave Gaza…We cannot allow the Security Council to reward Hamas’s intransigence. It is Hamas that continues to threaten Israelis and puts Palestinian civilians in Gaza in harm’s way, using them as human shields…It is inexplicable that many members of this council still refuse to acknowledge that Hamas could end this conflict tomorrow by surrendering and laying down its arms. It is unconscionable that the UN still has not labeled and sanctioned Hamas as a terrorist organization.” [end of quote]

Response: This statement does not require a lengthy response, as it merely reiterates the same narrative we’ve been hearing from Zionists, American demagogues, ideologues, rabble-rousers, and misguided evangelists. However, where was Hamas in 1948?! Palestinians have been suffering since 1948, while Hamas was established in the 1980s. Thus, it is the successive Zionist regimes that continue to threaten Palestinians, brutalise and evict them from their lands. As for Hamas, we have already provided a rebuke against them. Listen again here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3-cWyFcK5w In addition, Hamas suits the agenda of the Far-right. Read: https://abuiyaad.com/w/hamas-israeli-right

Eric stated: One can rationalize the cowardice of the European position, as it is dealing with its own growing Islamist population and the demographic decline of its indigenous citizens. The cross-section of Muslims in Europe ranges from Pakistanis and Bangladesh natives in England, to the Algerians and Tunisians in France, to the Turks and Syrian refugees in Germany. Despite their differences, the one thing the Islamic immigrants overwhelmingly agree about is a visceral hatred of Jews and the Jewish state. [end of quote]

Response: This statement is a sweeping generalisation. What exactly is an Islamist, and what threat do they represent? Wat does Eric mean by an Islamic immigrant?! Is it someone who engages in terrorist activities, an individual who stands against genocide, a person accused of anti-Semitism, or an immigrant who practices Islam without breaking the laws of their host country, or perhaps the children of immigrants like us who were born in Europe? Eric has not provided any clarification in this section as the aim of the discourse is propaganda—a blend of truth and lies, emotional manipulation, and a victim mentality designed to elicit sympathy in a way that they do not deserve. Political Islam and Islamists: Convenient and Opportunistic Conceptual Distortions

Despite the fact that Eric’s article title critiques Europe, it was their ancestors who supported Netanyahu’s predecessors. Read below:
https://salafidawahmanchester.com/2025/11/20/the-early-development-and-evolving-impact-of-christian-zionism-on-some-prominent-european-political-elites/

Eric said: The rising hatred of Jews and Israel in Europe: According to a report in the Washington-based news service Jewish Insider, “The French Interior Ministry released a report titled ‘Muslim Brothers and Political Islam in France,’ calling the Muslim Brotherhood an ‘imminent threat’ to French national security….calling on Paris to recognize a Palestinian state and recalibrate its policies towards Israel to ‘appease’ France’s growing Muslim population. [end of quote]

Response: This above statement presents a combination of three matters that ought not to be combined; nevertheless, it is anticipated that individuals like Eric and his associates will engage in such mixing due to their urgent need to conceal the truths of each issue, thus, drawing conclusions that depict all of them as detrimental. To begin with, concerning the innovated group (the Muslim Brotherhood – Ikhwanis), they pose a more significant threat to Muslim nations than to Europe and other regions. Their situation is well known, thus further discussion is unnecessary; instead, please refer to the provided links.

However, it is important not to slander the Ikhwanis or to exaggerate their actions, nor should facts be hidden to promote Netanyahu’s agenda or the objectives of the Zionist lobby in the United States and certain European countries. While the Muslim Brotherhood is indeed a dangerous group, any statements made about them should be grounded in truth rather than Zionist propaganda. Likewise, although Netanyahu’s Zionist regime is a dangerous and destructive one, any claims made about it must be verified.

Secondly, regarding the term political Islam, its interpretation varies based on the individuals involved in activities associated with this phenomenon. Moreover, it is essential to clearly differentiate between the innovated political activity of deviant sects and the politics that is sanctioned by Shariah law. Read again on this link:

Political Islam and Islamists: Convenient and Opportunistic Conceptual Distortions

Thirdly, establishing a Palestinian State is merely a small part of the issue; the core problem lies in Netanyahu’s Zionist mindset of superiority, his delusional ambition for a greater Zionist state stretching from the river to the sea, along with land theft and various atrocities. For the past 70 years, Palestinians have suffered in ways no other nation has, under successive Zionist regimes in Palestine. Thus, the demand for a Palestinian state is the bare minimum among the far more important demands that have persisted for seven decades. Therefore, whether certain Muslims in France partake in activities deemed threatening by the French government, or whether they identify as ikhwanis in their approach to the Palestinian issue, does not absolve any European country from its responsibility to not provide military aid or intelligence to the Zionists, which is utilisd to oppress Palestinians. Rgardless of the threats France anticipates and the various misguided methods some Muslims employ to advocate for Palestinian rights, all these actions are separate from the obligations Netanyahu has towards the Palestinians. His responsibilities remain intact, whether he faces criticism or receives praise. Eric and his ilk should stop adopting a victim mentality and blaming those who do not support Netanyahu sufficiently, instead, they should take the appropriate action by using their writing skills to call for justice and end the occupation. If this is not accomplished, we question whether they retain even a shred of conscience.

As for Jew hatred and anti-semitism, well informed Muslims know that such a behaviour is unlawful in the sight of the Creator. Read below:

Eric said: Years before October 7, 2023, the European political Left’s hostility toward Jews and Israel was steadily growing from the fringes and now resides in the halls of power. Where once the animosity was spoken in hushed tones, today Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez unapologetically refers to Israel as a “genocidal state,” French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian accuses Israel of a “long-lasting apartheid,” and British Foreign Secretary David Lammy accuses Israel of “ethnic cleansing.” There is almost no context given or condemnation of Hamas without, in the same breath, an expression of moral equivalence. [End of quote]

Response: Regardless of whether these politicians align with the left, right, center-right, center-left, or any other classification, and irrespective of whether they maintain these views indefinitely, temporarily, or alter their stance in an instant, none of this can obscure the undeniable truth that Netanyahu embodies a genocidal maniac. The entire world observed the unfolding events in Palestine. Furthermore, even though the actions of Hamas against non-combatants on October 7 are unequivocally condemned, however, no individual possessing even a shred of decency can deny that Netanyahu’s ideology and his actions in pursuit of such extreme retaliation represent an unprecedented occurrence in modern history. Consequently, the various terms employed to characterise his atrocious crimes against the Palestinians are entirely justifiable. He is unable to depict the situation in any manner other than what is evident to the entire world. Allah, The Exalted, stated:

And of mankind, there is he whose speech may please you (O Muhammad), in this worldly life, and he calls Allah to witness as to that which is in his heart, yet he is the most quarrelsome of the opponents. 204-206]

Imam As-Sadi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: This Ayah serves as evidence that the statements uttered by individuals are not proof regarding their truthfulness or whether they are upon falsehood, righteous or wicked until they are ascertained by their deeds. It is obligatory to examine the condition of those who bear witness, the one who is right and the falsifier among the people based on the righteousness of their deeds – examine the clear indications and their behaviour, and do not be deceived by how they portray themselves and the praise they give themselves. [Tafsir As-Sadi]

Eric said: British political commentator Douglas Murray sees Europe’s criticism of Israel not as a principled defense of human rights but as a politically convenient, morally inconsistent, and often deeply biased perspective. He contends that much of the European hostility toward Israel masks more profound antisemitic sentiments and is partly driven by a desire to absolve historical guilt over Europe’s complicity in the Holocaust. He accuses European media of disproportionately focusing on Israeli actions and underreporting atrocities elsewhere, with European intellectual and political elites grandstanding their condemnation of Israel. European nations rarely condemn Hamas or Palestinian leadership with the same intensity as they condemn Israeli actions, even when Israel is responding to terrorist attacks. [End of quote]

Response: The statement above once again reveals, as clearly as the midday sun, the victim mentality exhibited by numerous Zionist defenders and their irrational and ludicrous sense of entitlement. No matter the intentions of European politicians or the bias Eric perceives against the Zionists, it is important to note that it was the ancestors of Europeans who supported the Zionists for an extended period, granting them land and properties that were taken unlawfully. Read below:

The Early Development and Evolving Impact of Christian Zionism on Some Prominent European Political Elites

Therefore, if Europeans start to regret this historical event, similar to how they have lamented the oppression their ancestors imposed on the Jews, they should take steps to stop Netanyahu’s actions and advocate for compensation for the Palestinians, just as they have supported reparations for Jews who suffered under the Nazis. This represents true justice and should not be one-sided. Oppression is unacceptable, regardless of who the victim or the oppressor may be. The Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, stated that Allah stated: “O My servants! I have prohibited oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden among you, so do not oppress one another.” [Sahih Muslim 2577]

However, despite the lingering guilt that Europe feels for the oppression their ancestors inflicted upon the Jews, this does not imply that they should endorse Netanyahu’s oppressive actions. No rational individual would back an oppressor simply because he seeks restitution that also turns him into an oppressor. Why must Palestinians endure Zionist brutality simply because certain Zionists claim that any criticism of Netanyahu and calls for Palestinian rights equate to a reflection of Europe’s historical anti-Semitism? The fact that Jews faced oppression at the hands of Europeans does not imply that Europeans should remain silent regarding the atrocities perpetrated by Netanyahu in the name of the Jewish people. No individual with even a shred of common sense and decency would condone this.

Moreover, describing how infrequently others criticise Hamas as “rarely” is a significant falsehood, as Hamas consistently remains a central topic in the media, and Netanyahu frequently uses them as a justification in his quest for the unrealistic Zionist dominance by all means necessary. Also successive Zionist governments have been notorious for acts of terrorism since 1948, committing heinous acts and severe violations. Nevertheless, this does not imply that we refrain from condemning Hamas or any other organisation for targeting unarmed civilians and non-combatants. Prince Turki Al-Faisal provided a strong criticism of both Hamas and Netanyahu’s regime. Listen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3-cWyFcK5w

As for anti-semitism, we again direct Eric to these links:

Eric said: There is no fog of war for the Europeans. For the EU, Israel is disproportionate in its actions from October 8 on. This, despite the head of the Urban Warfare Institute in West Point, John Spencer, saying, “In my long career studying and advising on urban warfare for the US military, I’ve never known an army (IDF) to take such measures to attend to the enemy’s civilian population, especially while simultaneously combating the enemy in the very same buildings. In fact, by my analysis, Israel has implemented more precautions to prevent civilian harm than any military in history – above and beyond what international law requires and more than the US did in its wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.” [end of quote]

Response: What a ridiculous statement! No matter what the EU or others critical of Netanyahu’s forces claim, the devastation in Gaza and the staggering loss of life clearly indicate that this John Spencer is either delusional or utterly insane. How can one witness the death and destruction in Gaza and still assert that the IDF takes the utmost precautions to prevent civilian casualties?! It is astonishing that a military, which boasts the capability to target its enemies from thousands of miles away and eliminate them, fails to prevent the deaths of countless children, unarmed men and women, and ends up bombing hospitals, ambulances, journalists, schools, universities, doctors, and academics. Furthermore, some Zionist politicians are notorious for making dangerous remarks that are evident on the battlefield. Read some of the dangerous statements uttered by some of the Zionist figureheads. Read here:

Must take a look at what is happening in their own backyard first

Secondly, how amazing it is that Eric draws a parallel between the IDF and the USA military? The American military, under the influence of their ideologues and demagogues, stands as one of the foremost aggressors of this century, serving as the primary allies of the Zionists. Neither the IDF surpasses the American military, nor does the American military surpass the IDF. This comparison is perhaps the most amazing we have ever encountered, as it merely juxtaposes two aggressors in terms of which one perpetrates a lesser crime, while both are recognised as oppressors. Any diligent researcher will uncover a wealth of information regarding the aggressions committed by the United States military; indeed, it suffices to note that they are the only military to have ever deployed an atomic bomb against others.

Thus, it falls upon Eric to maintain integrity and to abstain from any efforts to misinterpret the truth, as this would be synonymous with dishonesty. Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

When a proof that supports the truth is manifested and the one who wants to repel it finds no way of doing so, he refrains from mentioning it and thus becomes a silent devil, and sometimes he distorts it. Distortion is of two types -distorting words and meanings. Distorting words occur when one utters a word in a context in which it does not establish the truth – either adding to the word, omitting something from it, or substituting it with something else to the extent that the listener is made to believe something, whilst something else is intended. [1]

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Beware of kadhib [lying], for indeed it corrupts one’s ability to illustrate information based on what it should be in reality. It corrupts one’s ability to illustrate information and his ability to teach the people. The liar portrays what is non-existent as something present and what is present as something non-existent. He portrays truth as something false and falsehood as something true; he portrays good as evil and evil as good, so this corrupts his conception and knowledge, which then becomes a punishment upon him. Then he portrays what is not true to the one deceived by him – the one who is inclined towards him- so he corrupts his conception and knowledge. The soul of the liar turns away from the existing reality -inclined towards what is non-existent and gives preference to falsehood.

And when his conception and knowledge is corrupted, which is the basis of every wilful chosen deed, his deeds become corrupt and marked by lies, so those deeds would emanate from him just as lies emanate from the tongue- he neither benefits from his tongue nor his deeds. This is why lying is the basis [or foundation] of immorality, as the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, “Indeed lies lead to immorality [or wickedness] and indeed immorality [or wickedness] leads to the fire. [Bukhaari 2606/2607]

Firstly lies emerges from the heart and then on the tongue, so it corrupts it; then it transfers to the limbs and corrupts its actions, just as it corrupts the statements of the tongue. Therefore, lying prevails over his statements, deeds and state of affairs; corruption becomes deeply rooted in him and its disease leads to destruction if Allaah does not grant him cure him with the medication of truthfulness, which uproots its (i.e. lying) from its original source.

This is why the basis [or foundation] of all the deeds of the hearts is based on truthfulness; and the basis of their opposites – such as showing off, self-amazement, pride, being glad [with ungratefulness to Allaah’s Favours], conceitedness, boastfulness, insolence, weakness, laziness, cowardice, disgrace and other than them- is lies. The origin of every righteous deed- whether carried out in private or public- is based on truthfulness. And the origin of every corrupt deed – whether carried out in private or public- is lies.

Allah punishes the liar by preventing him from those affairs that will bring him well-being and benefit, and He rewards the truthful one by granting him the ability to attain the beneficial affairs related to the worldly life and afterlife. There is nothing similar to truthfulness with regards to the manner in which it bring about the affairs of wellbeing in this life and the next, and there is nothing similar to lying with regards to the manner in which it corrupts and harms one’s worldly affairs and the afterlife.

O you who believe! Be afraid of Allah, and be with those who are true (in words and deeds) [9:119]

This is a Day on which the truthful will profit from their truth. [5:119]

And when the matter (preparation for Jihad) is resolved on, then if they had been true to Allah, it would have been better for them. [47:21]

And those who made excuses from the Bedouins came (to you, O Prophet) asking your permission to exempt them (from the battle), and those who had lied to Allah and His Messenger sat at home (without asking the permission for it); a painful torment will seize those of them who disbelieve. [9:90] [2]

In articulating these sentiments and chastising Eric for his pronounced sense of self-entitlement and ludicrous emotional appeals, rather than confronting the truth and admonishing Netanyahu for his brutality, we wish to emphasise that no rational individual would endorse Hamas’s actions against non-combatants on October 7. In this context, Prince Turki Al-Faisal has issued a statement that serves as a stern condemnation of both Netanyahu’s administration and Hamas.
