Muhammad Ibn Waasi (rahimahullaah) said: “There is no good in accompanying companions and engaging in conversations if they are slaves to their bellies (i.e. only interested in earning in order to eat and enjoy themselves); because if they are like this, some of them will hinder others from the affairs of the aakhirah (i.e. those deeds that will lead them to success in the hereafter).”

It was said to Abu Haazim (rahimahullaah), “What is closeness? (i.e. a close relationship between two people?); he said, “Strong love (for one another).” Then he was asked, “What is the sweetness (of this strong love)? He said, “To be in agreement (i.e. to agree on what is right and agree in rejecting what is wrong). Then it was said to him, “What is relaxation?” He said, “Paradise.”

Whenever you call to The Book and the Sunnah, then you are calling to unity and togetherness. Because this is what unites the people; for if they are acquainted with the Book and the Sunnah and act upon them, they will unite, come together; have mutual love for one another, (establish) brotherhood, aid one another (in righteouness and piety and not in sin and transgression) and will be saved from being in opposition to one another and from splitting.

King Abdul Azeez (rahimahullaah) said:
Indeed, I advise everyone to return to Allaah (i.e. complete submission, sincerity, obedience to Allaah etc); for Allaah is able to do all things and He is the One in whose Hand is the Dominion of everything. It is obligated on us to adhere to our Religion and to that which is found in the Book of Allaah and the Sharee’ah of our Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam). This is what I call to and what is in opposition to this statement (i.e. what others attribute to us) is lies and fabrication against us.

I do not have (anything) more beloved to me than uniting the Muslims. Indeed, I do not delay in dedicating myself and my family in that path.

Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadi (may Allaah preserve him) stated:
If you see a person upon truth and another (person) upon falsehood, it is obligatory that you aid the truth and warn against falsehood; if not, then you are dead-neither recognizing good nor rejecting evil and this is a sign of the heart’s hardness.”
