Eugenicists were either driven by ignorance or obstinacy in their futile quest to establish a genetically superior class

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Imam As-Sadi [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated:

The greatest evils of knowledge and its inconsistencies occur as a result of acquainting oneself with the creation without its Creator, acquaintance with effects without the One who created those effects, acquaintance with causes without the One who created those causes, and acquaintance with the paths without its sound goals. The deficiency in this type of acquaintance is numerous and its harm is great, because indeed many atheists and those deceived by them are skilled in the natural sciences, but they confine themselves to it and are blind regarding its association with its Creator and Causer. And with regards to that which is placed in these natural sciences of wonders and secrets, they see themselves as those who know the wonders of the natural sciences – which none knows besides them – and the secrets which Allāh has placed in nature, so it gives them higher status over others and thus they become afflicted with vanity and self-deception. They confine themselves to it, consider it as the final outcome, the purpose, and the goal, and thus occurs great deviation, deficiency in knowledge and intellect. If they knew and affirmed belief in the true Creator and the One Who Controls all the affairs of the Universe- the One who attached the means and causes to His Qadaa Wal Qadr [Footnote a], know that the means and causes are an abode of His Perfect Wisdom – for indeed Allāh [The Most High] is All-Wise, He placed things in their rightful places, gave the subtle affairs and big affairs an amazing orderly system and a firm association; gave everything that is sought after and the goals a means or cause, and a path that will lead to it, and due to this results and outcomes are based on the strength or weakness of the means or causes, and the strength or weakness of the performer of the deed- and then they bound these means, paths and outcomes to Allāh’s Qadaa Wal Qadr, their knowledge would have been perfected and they would have acquired of certainty that which cannot be acquired by those who have not reached their level; but they are glad (and proud) with that which they know of those paths whose tangible worldly outcomes they know and became haughty by way of them, so the statement of Allāh [The Most High] apply to them: [فلما جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فرحوا بما عندهم من العلم وحاق بهم ما كانوا به يستهزئون – Then when their Messengers came to them with clear proofs, they were glad (and proud) with that which they had of the knowledge (of worldly things): And that at which they used to mock, surrounded them (i.e. the punishment)]. [Surah Ghaafir. Aayah 83]

Allāh says:

And indeed We had firmly established them with that wherewith We have not established you! And We had assigned them the (faculties of) hearing (ears), seeing (eyes), and hearts, but their hearing (ears), seeing (eyes), and their hearts availed them nothing since they used to deny the Ayat (Allah’s Prophets and their Prophethood, proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, and they were completely encircled by that which they used to mock at! [Surah Al-Ahqaaf. Ayah 26]

This is the greatest evil consequence of self-amazement and arrogance without exception, and the most perilous path through which many people become beguiled and deceived; therefore we ask Allāh to blessed us with sound knowledge that is supported by sound intellect, divine text and sound natural disposition – the beneficial knowledge which the servant knows in all its aspects, and the knowledge which links the subsidiary affairs to its (sound) fundamental principles, and its means, causes, effects and outcomes are ascribed to the One Who originated and created them. It is the knowledge whose possessor does not disassociate the creation from its Creator- neither disassociates its effects from the One Who made them effective, nor disassociates the wisdom, the secrets and the amazing orderly systems in the creation from the One Who Created and Perfected them, organised them in perfect order and brought them into existence prior to their non-existence. This is the knowledge that bears the fruits of certainty and through which tranquillity is obtained, and through which happiness and success is attained. It bears the fruits of beautiful manners and righteous deeds, beneficial to the religious and worldly affairs. [1]

Indeed, every fabricated belief system attracts its group of devoted followers, radicals, and tyrants. It is not unexpected that even those who claim to be enlightened overseers or experts in various fields can engage in criminal behaviour and disruptive actions. A significant number of us, having been educated in primary and secondary schools, as well as colleges and universities, are familiar with Charles Darwin’s “Savages and Favoured Races,” which undoubtedly serves as a foundation for racial prejudice. Similarly, the path that was chosen by the arrogant and opinionated eugenicists led to an increase in oppression and crimes committed against the weak and vulnerable in society. Population eugenics involved urging individuals to procreate to produce desired traits, but the true believers in Allah and His Messengers have always distanced themselves from the hidden motives and ideas of those whose approach to sexual reproduction is solely aimed at advancing their materialistic or racist agendas – whether it is to create future workers for the communists or capitalists or to prevent other members of society from having children in the name of racial hygiene or to discourage them from doing so out of fear of poverty.

The notoriety of the haughty and opinionated eugenicists is well-known and they were those individuals who pursued a futile endeavour to establish a genetically superior class and advocated for the reproduction of solely flawless individuals, thereby marginalising anyone with even the most minor disability. The concept of “Positive eugenics” focused on promoting reproduction among individuals deemed to have so-called “good stock,” while “Negative eugenics” aimed to discourage or prevent reproduction among those considered unfit, such as the poor, criminals, or the feeble-minded. Indeed, it is undeniable that one of the factors that contributed to this inclination was either their lack of awareness regarding the well-balanced approach elucidated in the final revelation or their persistent defiance of it. So, we conclude by citing the insightful words of Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him], who emphasised the importance of achieving this balanced in all aspects of life.

He stated:

Akhlaaq [or moral character] is bounded by limits. Transgression takes place when these limits are exceeded, while deficiency and humiliation arise when one falls short.

The commendable aspects of anger lie within its boundaries of bravery and a distaste for despicable and inadequate behaviour. These boundaries represent the pinnacle of anger’s expression. However, when one surpasses these limits, they cross into transgression and oppression. Conversely, if their anger is lacking, they will exhibit cowardice and fail to abhor despicable behaviour. The scope of eagerness lies in acquiring what is necessary for one’s worldly pursuits and employing suitable means to attain them. Insufficient eagerness leads to humiliation and wastage of valuable time or opportunities while exceeding its limits breeds intense greed and unworthy desires. The boundaries of envy lie within the realm of praiseworthy competition, where individuals strive for perfection and aim to surpass another competitor. However, once these limits are exceeded, envy transforms into jealousy characterised by animosity and oppression. In such instances, the envious person desires the deprivation of blessings for the one envied and is eager to cause harm. Conversely, if one lacks (what is required of jealousy), it leads to a diminished sense of worth and a weakened drive to achieve. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “There should be no envy except in two (people); a person whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and a person whom Allah has given wisdom (i.e. religious knowledge) and he judges by way of it and teaches it to the others”. This form of envy (requires commendable) competition among individuals, and the Haasid (the one who is envious of their competitor) strives to resemble the person they envy, without (harbouring) the detestable envy (which makes one) wish that the blessings bestowed upon the envied individual should cease.

The boundaries of desires provide a means of relaxation for the heart and intellect after exerting oneself in acts of obedience and striving to accomplish virtuous deeds. However, when one exceeds these limits, it gives rise to intense and barely controllable emotions, as well as lewdness, ultimately causing the person to descend to the level of animals. On the other hand, lacking desire and not utilising it as a means to pursue perfection and virtue leads to weakness, impotence, and humiliation. The boundaries of relaxation lie in its ability to replenish one’s energy and enhance their mental capacity, thereby enabling one to carry out acts of obedience and accomplish virtuous deeds. This safeguards against the detrimental effects of exertion and exhaustion. However, when an individual exceeds these limits, it leads to a lack of enthusiasm, laziness, wastage of time and opportunities, and many beneficial endevours are missed. Conversely, insufficient relaxation hampers one’s strength and may even result in debilitation.

The boundaries of generosity are marked by two extremes, where surpassing these limits results in extravagance and wastefulness. Conversely, a deficiency in generosity leads to avarice and a reluctance to give freely. The boundaries of courage lie in the fact that exceeding them results in recklessness while lacking courage leads to cowardice and weakness. Its limit is to act when necessary and abstain when it is not. Jealousy has its limitations, as crossing them leads to false accusations and (unjustified) evil suspicions against blameless individuals. Conversely, the absence of jealousy leads to heedlessness and a lack of regard for one’s honour. When humility is exceeded, it gives way to indignity and humiliation, whereas the absence of humility gives rise to pride and boasting. There are limits to honour, and if someone exceeds those limits, it will inevitably result in pride. On the other hand, when someone lacks honour, it leads to humiliation and a loss of dignity.

Justice provides a precise balance to these affairs and requires that a person follow the path set by Islamic legislation – the path is free from both exaggeration and negligence. The foundation of all beneficial matters, whether in this worldly life or the hereafter, rests upon this; rather, physical well-being can only be achieved by adhering to it, for any disruption in the proper balance of the human body’s elements – whether due to excessive indulgence or negligence – leads to a deterioration in its health and strength, proportionate to the extent of this (imbalance). Similarly, engaging in natural activities such as sleep, staying up late at night, eating, drinking, sexual intercourse, movement, recreation, seclusion, and socialising, in a moderate manner – without excess or deficiency – is considered to be upright, appropriate, and balanced; however, when an individual veer towards either extreme, it is deemed to be a deficiency and will yield deficient outcomes. One of the noblest and most beneficial sciences is the knowledge of the boundaries (within which affairs are confined), particularly the divine limits – the commands and prohibitions (outlined in the Qur’an and Sunnah). Those who possess more understanding of these divine limits are the most learned individuals, so they neither include anything outside of these limits nor exclude anything that falls within them. Allah [The Exalted] says:

ٱلۡأَعۡرَابُ أَشَدُّ ڪُفۡرً۬ا وَنِفَاقً۬ا وَأَجۡدَرُ أَلَّا يَعۡلَمُواْ حُدُودَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ

The bedouins are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy, and more likely to be in ignorance of the limits (Allah’s Commandments and His Legal Laws, etc.) which Allah has revealed to His Messenger]. [Surah At-Tawbah. Ayah 97]

Thus, the individuals who remain within the confines of the moral values and actions outlined in the Islamic legislation, both in their understanding and implementation, are the most just, balanced, and upright. [2]

[4] Ensuring the preservation of the sound Islamic creed involves addressing Yasir Qadhi’s inclination towards exaggerations whilst commending those who denounce the atrocities committed by Netanyahu’s Zionist Far-right Regime

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] says

O you who believe! Fear Allah, and be with those who are true (in statements and deeds). [9:119]

Indeed, it is evident that millions of individuals and many nations openly denounce the heinous acts committed by the Zionists, and this commendable stance deserves recognition. Nevertheless, it is crucial to avoid exaggeration and making assertions that contradict the infallible final divine revelation, as exemplified by the recent remarks made by the Bid’ee Yasir Qadhi regarding the followers of modern Judaism. He stated, “They are the real followers of Mosses! They are the ones who make the Children of Israel proud”. [End of quote]

However, it is crucial to maintain the only balanced approach that agrees with the infallible divine text to avoid exaggeration and to give proper recognition to what truly deserves acknowledgment.

Firstly, Shaikh Abu Iyaadh [may Allah preserve him] stated in his discussion regarding the connection between Zionism and Judaism: “However, it is important to note that not all Jews are involved in these intrigues and the Jews as a population have, throughout history, been subject to the whims and desires of their religious and political leaders, and have been made to undergo much persecution as a result. Also, there are many religious Jews who denounce Zionism as heresy in religion and cause of calamities for them and for Palestinians. Just as there are religious Jews who reject liberal and woke ideas used to disintegrate family and society. Hence, it is not correct to brush all Jews with the same brush, just as it is not correct to paint all Muslims with the brush of al-Ikhwān, Ḥizb al-Taḥrīr, al-Qaeda, ISIS and other extremists and terrorists”. [End of quote] https://abuiyaad.com/w/king-faisal-zionism

Secondly, we now present the undeniable truth concerning the people of the Scripture after the advent of of the final Prophet Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him].

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated:Abdullah bin Salam heard the news of the arrival of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) (at Medina) while he was on a farm collecting its fruits. So he came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, “I will ask you about three things which nobody knows unless he be a prophet. Firstly, what is the first portent of the Hour? What is the first meal of the people of Paradise? And what makes a baby look like its father or mother?”. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Just now Gabriel has informed me about that.” Abdullah said, “Gabriel?” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Yes.” Abdullah said, “He, among the angels is the enemy of the Jews.” On that the Prophet (ﷺ) recited this Holy Verse:– “Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel (let him die in his fury!) for he has brought it (i.e. Qur’an) down to your heart by Allah’s permission.” (2.97) Then he added, “As for the first portent of the Hour, it will be a fire that will gather the people from the East to West. And as for the first meal of the people of Paradise, it will be the caudite (i.e. extra) lobe of the fish liver. And if a man’s discharge proceeded that of the woman, then the child resembles the father, and if the woman’s discharge proceeded that of the man, then the child resembles the mother.” On hearing that, Abdullah said, “I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and that you are the Messenger of Allah; O, Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ),  the Jews (i.e. those among them who tamper with the Torah and killed the Prophets) are liars, and if they should come to know that I have submitted to Islam, they would accuse me of being a liar.” In the meantime some Jews came (to the Prophet) and he asked them, “What is Abdullah’s status amongst you?” They replied, “He is the best amongst us, and he is our chief and the son of our chief.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “What would you think if `Abdullah bin Salam submitted to Islam?” They replied, “May Allah protect him from this!” Then Abdullah came out and said, “I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” The Jews then said, “Abdullah is the worst of us and the son of the worst of us,” and disparaged him. On that Abdullah said, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! This is what I was afraid of!” [Al-Bukhari 4480

Therefore, none can be the true followers of Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) other than those who have submitted to Islam.

Secondly, we now present the undeniable truth concerning the people of the Scripture after the advent of of the final Prophet Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him].

Shaikh Al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated:

Whoever amongst the followers of the previous Prophets comes into contact with Muhammad’s [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] message must believe in him and aid him, even if they had a revealed book and another Prophetic tradition, just as Allah [The Exalted] says:

[ لَمَآ ءَاتَيۡتُڪُم مِّن ڪِتَـٰبٍ۬ وَحِكۡمَةٍ۬ ثُمَّ جَآءَڪُمۡ رَسُولٌ۬ مُّصَدِّقٌ۬ لِّمَا مَعَكُمۡ لَتُؤۡمِنُنَّ بِهِۦ وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُ  – Take whatever I gave you from the Book and Hikmah (understanding of the Laws of Allah, etc.), and afterwards there will come to you a Messenger (Muhammad) confirming what is with you; you must, then, believe in him and help him]. [Surah Aal Imraan. Ayah 81]

Allah [The Exalted] says:

Say (O Muhammad): “We believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma’il (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Ya’qub (Jacob) and Al-Asbat [the twelve sons of Ya’qub (Jacob)] and what was given to Musa (Moses), ‘Iesa (Jesus) and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between one another among them and to Him (Allah) we have submitted (in Islam)”; then Allaah [The Exalted] said: [ وَمَن يَبۡتَغِ غَيۡرَ ٱلۡإِسۡلَـٰمِ دِينً۬ا فَلَن يُقۡبَلَ مِنۡهُ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلۡخَـٰسِرِينَ- And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers]. [Surah Aal Imraan. Aayaat 84-85]

A group amongst the Salaf [pious predecessors] stated that when this Ayah was revealed, some of the Jews and Christians said, “We are Muslims”, so Allaah said, [وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ حِجُّ ٱلۡبَيۡتِ مَنِ ٱسۡتَطَاعَ إِلَيۡهِ سَبِيلاً۬‌ۚ   – And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka’bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, those who can afford the expenses (for one’s conveyance, provision and residence)]; so they said, “We will not perform Hajj”, then Allah said, [وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِىٌّ عَنِ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ  – and whoever disbelieves [i.e. denies Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah), then he is a disbeliever of Allah], then Allah stands not in need of any of the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinns)]. [Surah Aal Imraan. Aayah 97]

Anyone who does not believe that he is not obligated to perform hajj even though he has the ability, then he is a disbeliever based on the consensus of the scholars just as the Qur’an has made that very clear. The Jews and Christians do not consider Hajj to be obligated to them, so they are disbelievers.

Allah [The Exalted] says:

Allah bears witness that La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and the angels, and those having knowledge (also give this witness); (He is always) maintaining His creation in Justice. Laa ilaaha illaa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, then surely, Allah is Swift in calling to account. So if they dispute with you (Muhammad) say: “I have submitted myself to Allah (in Islam), and (so have) those who follow me.” And say to those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and to those who are illiterates (Arab pagans): “Do you (also) submit yourselves (to Allah in Islam)?” If they do, they are rightly guided; but if they turn away, your duty is only to convey the Message; and Allah is All-Seer of (His ) slaves. [Surah Al Imraan. Ayaat 18-20]

And after Allah [The Exalted] says: [ إِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡإِسۡلَـٰمُ‌ۗ   – Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam], He commanded the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] to say, “I submit myself to Allah and also those who follow me are to submit”; and that he should say to those who received the Scripture [the Jews and Christians], and the unlettered Arabs [those who have no book and other than them], “Do you (also) submit yourselves (to Allah in Islam)?” The Arabs are included in the term Ummiyyoon [unlettered or illiterate] and everyone agrees with this; but as for other than them, then either they are included in this term or other clear statements which shows that Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] was sent to entire humankind and jinn.

Allah [The Exalted] says:

فَإِنۡ أَسۡلَمُواْ فَقَدِ ٱهۡتَدَواْ‌ۖ وَّإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡبَلَـٰغُ‌ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ

If they do, they are rightly guided; but if they turn away, your duty is only to convey the Message; and Allah is All-Seer of (His ) slaves. [3:20]

Therefore, Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] commanded the people of the Scripture to accept the same Islam which he commanded the unlettered Arabs to accept, and that they will be guided if they accept Islam, but if they do not submit, then Allah said: [فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡبَلَـٰغُ‌ۗ   – your duty is only to convey the Message] – Meaning, “I only convey to you the message of my lord and He will judge you”. Therefore, all this shows that Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] conveyed to the people of the Scripture that which he conveyed to the unlettered Arabs, and that Allaah will judge them for abandoning Islaam, just as the unlettered Arabs will be judged.

Al-Bukhaari and Muslim reported the hadeeth in which is stated the contents of the letter sent to Heraclius – the king of the Christians: “From Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, to Hercules, the leader of the Byzantines. Peace be upon those who follow the true guidance. I invite you to embrace Islam so that you may live in security. If you come within the fold of Islam, Allaah will give you double reward, but in case you turn your back upon it, then the burden of the sins of all your people shall fall on your shoulders.

Say (O Muhammad): “O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah. Then, if they turn away, say: “Bear witness that we are Muslims'” [3:64]

And what is even more explicit is that Allah informed us that Islam is the religion of the Prophets, such as Nooh, Ibraaheem, Yaqoob [peace and blessings of Allah be upon them] and their followers, including the disciples [may Allah have mercy upon them]. Islam is the religion of every era and place. Allah [The Exalted] stated about Nooh [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] the first Messenger to the people of the earth:

And recite to them the news of Nuh (Noah). When he said to his people: “O my people, if my stay (with you), and my reminding (you) of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah is hard on you, then I put my trust in Allah. So devise your plot, you and your partners, and let not your plot be in doubt for you. Then pass your sentence on me and give me no respite. “But if you turn away [from accepting my doctrine of Islamic Monotheism, i.e. to worship none but Allah], then no reward have I asked of you, my reward is only from Allah, and I have been commanded to be one of the Muslims (those who submit to Allah’s Will).” [Surah Yunus. Aayaat 71-72]

As for Ibraaheem [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], Allaah [The Exalted] said:

And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) and (his son) Isma’il (Ishmael) were raising the foundations of the House (the Ka’bah at Makkah), (saying), “Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.” “Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Manasik (all the ceremonies of pilgrimage – Hajj and ‘Umrah, etc.), and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful. “Our Lord! Send amongst them a Messenger of their own (and indeed Allah answered their invocation by sending Muhammad Peace be upon him ), who shall recite unto them Your Verses and instruct them in the Book (this Qur’an) and Al-Hikmah (full knowledge of the Islamic laws and jurisprudence or wisdom or Prophethood, etc.), and sanctify them. Verily! You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.” And who turns away from the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) (i.e. Islamic Monotheism) except him who befools himself? Truly, We chose him in this world and verily, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous. When his Lord said to him, “Submit (i.e. be a Muslim)!” He said, “I have submitted myself (as a Muslim) to the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).” And this (submission to Allah, Islam) was enjoined by Ibrahim (Abraham) upon his sons and by Ya’qub (Jacob), (saying), “O my sons! Allah has chosen for you the (true) religion, then die not except in the Faith of Islam (as Muslims – Islamic Monotheism).” [Surah Al-Baqarah. Aayaat 127-132]

So, indeed Allah [The Exalted] informed us that He commanded Ibraaheem [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] with Islaam, who submitted and commanded his offspring with it, and Ya’qoob [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] commanded his children not to die except as Muslims. Allah says:

Ibrahim (Abraham) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism – to worship none but Allah Alone) and he was not of polytheists. Verily, among mankind who have the best claim to Ibrahim (Abraham) are those who followed him, and this Prophet (Muhammad) and those who have believed (Muslims). And Allah is the Wali (Protector and Helper) of the believers. [3: 67-68]

Allaah [The Exalted] stated about Yusuf the son of Yaqoob [peace and blessings of Allah be upon them], that he said:

“My Lord! You have indeed bestowed on me of the sovereignty, and taught me the interpretation of dreams; The (only) Creator of the heavens and the earth! You are my Wali (Protector, Helper, Supporter, Guardian, etc.) in this world and in the Hereafter, cause me to die as a Muslim (the one submitting to Your Will), and join me with the righteous.” [12:101]

Allah [The Exalted] says about Moosaa [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]:

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ يَـٰقَوۡمِ إِن كُنتُمۡ ءَامَنتُم بِٱللَّهِ فَعَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلُوٓاْ إِن كُنتُم مُّسۡلِمِينَ

And Musa (Moses) said: “O my people! If you have believed in Allah, then put your trust in Him if you are Muslims (those who submit to Allah’s Will).” [10:84]

Allah [The Exalted] stated that the [former] magicians [may Allah have mercy upon them] who believed in Moosaa [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] says:

قَالُواْ لَا ضَيۡرَ‌ۖ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ

إِنَّا نَطۡمَعُ أَن يَغۡفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطَـٰيَـٰنَآ أَن كُنَّآ أَوَّلَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

They said: “No harm! Surely, to our Lord (Allah) we are to return; “Verily! We really hope that our Lord will forgive us our sins, as we are the first of the believers [in Musa (Moses) and in the Monotheism which he has brought from Allah].” [26: 50-51]

And you take vengeance on us only because we believed in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.) of our Lord when they reached us! Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims.” [7: 126]

Allah [The Exalted] stated in the story of Sulayman [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] that Bilqees [may Allah have mercy upon her] said regarding Sulayaan’s letter:

إِنَّهُ ۥ مِن سُلَيۡمَـٰنَ وَإِنَّهُ ۥ بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

أَلَّا تَعۡلُواْ عَلَىَّ وَأۡتُونِى مُسۡلِمِينَ

“Verily! It is from Sulaiman (Solomon), and verily! It (reads): In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful; “Be you not exalted against me, but come to me as Muslims (true believers who submit to Allah with full submission)’”. [27: 30-31]

And that Sulaymaan [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] says:

قَالَ يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلۡمَلَؤُاْ أَيُّكُمۡ يَأۡتِينِى بِعَرۡشِہَا قَبۡلَ أَن يَأۡتُونِى مُسۡلِمِينَ

He said: “O chiefs! Which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me as Muslims [surrendering themselves in obedience?”] [27: 38]

And Allah [The Exalted] says that Sulaymaan [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said about Bilqees [may Allah have mercy upon her]: [وَأُوتِينَا ٱلۡعِلۡمَ مِن قَبۡلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسۡلِمِينَ – Knowledge was bestowed on us before her, and we were submitted to Allah (in Islam as Muslims before her)]. [27: 42]

And Allah [The Exalted] says about Bilqees [may Allah have mercy upon her]:

قَالَتۡ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِى وَأَسۡلَمۡتُ مَعَ سُلَيۡمَـٰنَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ

“My Lord! Verily, I have wronged myself, and I submit (in Islam, together with Sulaiman (Solomon), to Allah, the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).” [27: 44]

And Allah [The Exalted] stated about the Prophets of Bani Israaeel [peace and blessings of Allah be upon them]:

إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَا ٱلتَّوۡرَٮٰةَ فِيہَا هُدً۬ى وَنُورٌ۬‌ۚ يَحۡكُمُ بِہَا ٱلنَّبِيُّونَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسۡلَمُواْ لِلَّذِينَ هَادُواْ

Verily, We did send down the Taurat (Torah) [to Musa (Moses)], therein was guidance and light, by which the Prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah’s Will, judged the Jews. [5: 44]

And Allah [The Exalted] says about the disciples:

وَإِذۡ أَوۡحَيۡتُ إِلَى ٱلۡحَوَارِيِّـۧنَ أَنۡ ءَامِنُواْ بِى وَبِرَسُولِى قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا وَٱشۡہَدۡ بِأَنَّنَا مُسۡلِمُونَ

And when I (Allah) put in the hearts of Al-Hawarieen (the disciples) [of ‘Iesa (Jesus)] to believe in Me and My Messenger, they said: “We believe. And bear witness that we are Muslims.” [5: 111]

So, Allah [The Exalted] mentioned that all these Prophets [peace and blessings of Allah be upon them] and their followers were Muslims.

This is makes it clear that the statement: [وَمَن يَبۡتَغِ غَيۡرَ ٱلۡإِسۡلَـٰمِ دِينً۬ا فَلَن يُقۡبَلَ مِنۡهُ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلۡخَـٰسِرِينَ – And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers] and the statement  [إِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡإِسۡلَـٰمُ   -Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam] do not specifically apply to those whom Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] was sent to [in his era]; rather it is a general ruling that applies to the early and latter generations, and due to this Allaah says:

وَمَنۡ أَحۡسَنُ دِينً۬ا مِّمَّنۡ أَسۡلَمَ وَجۡهَهُ ۥ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحۡسِنٌ۬ وَٱتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبۡرَٲهِيمَ حَنِيفً۬ا‌ۗ وَٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّهُ إِبۡرَٲهِيمَ خَلِيلاً۬

And who can be better in religion than one who submits his face (himself) to Allah (i.e. follows Allah’s Religion of Islamic Monotheism); and he is a good-doer. And follows the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism – to worship none but Allah Alone). And Allah did take Ibrahim (Abraham) as a Khalil (an intimate friend). [4: 125]

And Allah [The Exalted] says:

And they say, “None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian.” These are their own desires. Say (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ), “Produce your proof if you are truthful.”  Yes, but whoever submits his face (himself) to Allah (i.e. follows Allah’s Religion of Islamic Monotheism) and he is a Muhsin (good-doer i.e. performs good deeds totally for Allah’s sake only without any show off or to gain praise or fame, etc., and in accordance with the Sunnah of Allah’s Messenger Muhammad Peace be upon him ) then his reward is with his Lord (Allah), on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. [2: 111-112]

[2] Ensuring the preservation of the sound Islamic creed involves addressing Yasir Qadhi’s inclination towards exaggerations whilst commending those who denounce the atrocities committed by Netanyahu’s Zionist Far-right Regime

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] said:
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
O you who believe! Fear Allah, and be with those who are true (in statements and deeds). [9:119]

Ensuring the preservation of the sound Islamic creed involves addressing Yasir Qadhi’s inclination towards exaggerations whilst commending those who denounce the atrocities committed by Netanyahu’s Zionist Far-right Regime

Indeed, it is crucial to maintain the only balanced approach that agrees with the infallible divine text to avoid exaggeration and to give proper recognition to what truly deserves acknowledgment.

Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated:

Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] himself called the Christians and Jews to believe in him and in that which he brought, just as he also called the Arabs- who had no scripture- and all the other nations. He [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] related from Allah [The Exalted] that those amongst the people of the scripture and other than them are unbelievers if they do not believe in him and that their abode will be the fire – an evil destination. As for the Jews, they were his neighbours in the Arabian peninsula- at Madeenah and its surrounding areas, and Khyber. Indeed, the Muhaajiroon and the Ansaar believed in him without fighting; rather the signs of Prophethood and the proofs of his truthfulness were manifested to them so they believed in him. Many of those who believed in him were harmed and this is well known in the Seerah. Many Jews and Christians believed in him during his lifetime- some in Makkah and some in Madeenah, and many others were neither from Makkah nor Madeenah.

As for the Christians, then indeed the people of Najraan – from Yemen – came to debate with him [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] in his Masjid, so Allah revealed Surah Al Imraan regarding them. And when his proofs became manifest and it became clear to them that he was a Messenger of Allah sent to them, Allah commanded him that if they did not respond to his call, then he should call them for MUBAAHALAH [Footnote a] [i.e. invoke the curse of Allah on the liars]. Allah [The Exalted] says:

Then whoever disputes with you concerning him [‘Iesa (Jesus)] after (all this) knowledge that has come to you, [i.e. ‘Iesa (Jesus)] being a slave of Allah, and having no share in Divinity) say: (O Muhammad) “Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women, and your women, ourselves and yourselves thenۡ weۡ prayۡ andۡ invokeۡ (sincerely)ۡ theۡ Curseۡ ofۡ Allahۡ uponۡ thoseۡ –who lie.”]SurahۡAalۡImraan. Ayah 61] [An Excerpt from ‘Al-Jawaabus Saheeh. 2/50-51]

————————————————-

Footnote a: MUBAAHALAH: Al-Haafidh Ibn Hajr [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “There is a benefit in the story of the people of Najraan, and in it is that Mubaahalah is legislated against the opposer when he persists upon [falsehood] after the proofs have been manifested. Indeed, Ibn Abbaas [radiyallaahu-anhumaa] did call to it, then Al-Awzaa’ee [rahimahullaah] and some of the scholars. And that which is well known from experience is that the affair of one who performs Mubaahalah – whilst he is one upon falsehood – does not extend beyond the year of the Mubaahalah. This occurred between me and a person who was fanatically supporting some of the heretics and after two months he could not stand up”. [An Excerpt from ‘Fat-hul Baari’ 12/195. Slightly paraphrased]

Imaam Al-Albaanee [may Allah have mercy upon him] was asked about the ruling on MUBAAHALAH in relation to worldly matters: Question: The hadith regarding the Najran delegation is well known when they came to the Messenger of Allah [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], and then Allah revealed:

Then whoever disputes with you concerning him [‘Iesa (Jesus)] after (all this) knowledge that has come to you, [i.e. ‘Iesa (Jesus)] being a slave of Allah, and having no share in Divinity) say: (O Muhammad) “Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves – then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of Allah upon those who lie.” [Surah Aal Imraan. Aayah 61]

So he called them to MUBAAHALAH, but they refused. It is well known to us that MUBAAHALAH is not to be done except in issues related to Aqeedah, but some people amongst the Muslims suggest this ruling in worldly affairs between him and his Muslim brother; meaning, if my Muslim brother owes me money but denies it, then would it be permissible to suggest this ruling between me and my Muslim brother?

Answer: May Allaah bless you. The answer to this question is that it is not permissible to suggest this in such a situation or suggest this Shariah ruling about material issues due to two reasons: Firstly, because this story is related to issues of Aqeedah as you have stated today. Secondly, as for the material issues, then Islaam has legislated a system and principles for it. He [i.e. the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)] said, “The burden of proof is on the claimant and an oath is a duty upon the one who denies the claim”. So, there is no room for Mubaahalah in this affair, which Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic] legislated in that affair between His Messenger [peace and blessing of Allaah be upon him] and those Christians of the Najran who denied true Islamic Monotheism and persisted on the Trinity. So, this affair is not suggested in another issue besides this because neither is there a narration of the pious predecessors nor a hadeeth regarding it. However, if it must be done, then it can be suggested when two groups of Muslims differ in some ideas or Aqeedah- for example between the Mutazilah and Ahlus Sunnah. It is possible that if some Mu’tazilee is haughty after discussion and after evidences has been presented, then the Sunnee seeks Mubaahalah from him – that may the curse of Allaah be upon the liars. Therefore, it is possible to suggest this in such an affair. But as for the question with regards to suggesting this affair in issues related to material disputes, then this is not permissible. [4] A Brief Acquaintance With Some of Those Who Preceded Haqiqatjou In Conjecture, Deception, and Misguidance: [Those who read and wrote a lot but jested and twiddled with the religion]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] says:

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يَتْلُونَهُۥ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

Those to whom We have given the Book (the Torah and the Qurʾān), recite it as it truly should be recited (through sincere, honest implementation of its teachings, without distorting them). They are the ones who (truly) believe in it. And whoever disbelieves in it, then they are the losers.

Imām al-Ṭabarī brings the following reports: Ibn ʿAbbās and ʿIkrimah: “They follow it as it truly should be followed.” Ibn ʿAbbās: “They accept as lawful what it makes lawful, accept as unlawful what it makes unlawful, and do not distort its words from their proper places.” Mujāhid: “They act upon it as it truly should be acted upon.” Ibn Masʿūd and Qatādah: “They treat as lawful what it makes lawful and treat as unlawful what it makes unlawful. They recite it as it was revealed by Allāh. They do not distort its words from their proper places and they do not explain anything of it with other than its (true) explanation.” Al-Ḥasan: “They act upon its decisive verses (muḥkam), believe in its ambiguous verses (mutashābih), and entrust the knowledge of what is difficult for them to its knower”. [1]

Imaam Adh-Dhahabi [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated: “Knowledge is not about an abundance of narration, rather, it is a light that Allah places into the heart. And the condition (for seeking it) is to adhere to it, fleeing from desires and bidah. May Allah grant you and us success (and the ability) to obey Him”. [2]

An Example of a Misguided One Called Al-Jaahiz Who Was Known to Read a Lot and Wrote Many Books, But Well-known For Jesting and Twiddling With The Religion

Ibn Qutaybah [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated about Al-Jaahiz: “You find him arguing at times for the Uthmaaniyyah over the Rafidah, and sometimes for the Zaidiyyah over the Uthmaaniyyah and Ahlus Sunnah, and sometimes he gave precedence to Ali [may Allah be pleased with him], and sometimes he placed him behind others. [Footnote a] He wrote a book in which he mentioned the arguments of the Christians against the Muslims, and when he embarked upon refuting them, he relinquished some of the proof as if he wanted to alert them to what they did not know and to cast doubt on the weak among the Muslims, and you find him intending in his books to mock and twiddle. He mocked at hadith in a way that was not hidden from the scholars, while he was one of the Ummah’s greatest liars, fabricators of hadith, and the most supportive of falsehood”. [3]

Imaam adh-Dhahabi [may Allah have mercy upon him] said about Al-Jaahiz: “He was an insolent person, one who was very negligent in his practice of the religion and held strange views”. [4] “It was apparent from his traits that he used to fabricate”. [5] “He was from the figureheads of Bidah”. [6] Al-Baghdaadee [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “Al-Jaahiz used to transmit a lot of innovated beliefs in his books”. [7] “Neither reliable nor trustworthy, rather, he was one of the figureheads of Bidah”. [8]

[3] A Brief Acquaintance With Some of Those Who Preceded Haqiqatjou In Conjecture, Deception and Misguidance

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Madkhali [may Allah preserve him] said:

After speaking about those who make Takfeer based on falsehood [1] amongst the different factions of the Jahmiyah [2], the Khawaarij [3], the Rawaafid and the Qadariyyah [4], and the reason behind such Takfeer, Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated, “On the opposite side of these people who make Takfeer based on falsehood, there are people who do not know the creed of Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jamaa’ah as it should be, or they know some and are ignorant of some. And perhaps what they know of it, they do not clarify for the people, rather they conceal it. Neither do they forbid Bidah nor censure ahlul bidah and punish them; rather, perhaps they would censure speech related to the Sunnah and the fundamental principles of the religion – completely – and would not differentiate – in that – between what Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah say [i.e. adherents to the sound Prophetic Sunnah and sound unity] and what ahlul bidah wal furqah say [i.e. the proponents of innovation in religious affairs who split (disunite due to their opposition to the correct path)], or they would affirm all their differing Madhabs [creeds, paths] in a manner similar to how the scholars would affirm the different opinions related to affairs of Ijtihaad about which difference of opinion is justified. [5] This path has overwhelmed many of the Murji’ah, some of the jurists, those pursuing the path of asceticism and the philosophers, just as it has overwhelmed – first and foremost – many amongst the people of (vain) desires and rhetoric. Both these paths are perverted, outside the Book [i.e. The Qur’an] and the Sunnah”. [End of Quote]

After quoting the above statement of Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah, Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi said, “I say, may Allah have mercy on Ibn Tamiyyah. Indeed, he clarified the situation of the people of his era and those before them, then what if he saw the situation of many amongst the Al-Jamaa’aat Al-Hizbiyyah Wal-Bid’iyyah [The Groups of Illegal Partisanship and Bidah] [6] who ascribe themselves to Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jamaa’ah and take cover behind them – in particular – to promote their falsehoods! What if he saw them whilst they have definitely gathered between the Madhabs [creeds, paths] of the two groups- the khawaarij and those who follow their way in pronouncing Takfeer in the subject matter of Al-Haakimiyyah [7] and the way of the Mur’jiah [8] in the manner they approach the affair of people who are upon the big and numerous innovations in religious affairs, and equating innovation in religion to those affairs of the religion in which Ijtihaad is justified, whose people are rewarded alongside a refutation against their mistakes! In the view of these people, the leaders of Misguidance and Bidah are like the Imams of Guidance and Sunnah. [9] [An Excerpt from “Al-Mahajjatul Baydaa Fee Himaayatis Sunnatil Gharraa Min Zallaati Ahlil Akhtaa’i Wa Zayghi Ahlil Ahwaa” 117-118]

Finally, Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyah said, “Rather what is obligatory is to clarify that which Allah sent His Messengers with and (revealed) in His Books, propagate that which the Messengers brought from Allah and fulfil the covenant which Allah took from the scholars. Therefore, it is obligatory to know that which the Messengers brought, believe in it, propagate it, call to it, striving with it, weigh up all that which the people embark upon – [statements, actions, religious fundamentals and subsidiary issues pertaining to the apparent actions of the Limbs and affairs related to actions of the heart]- under the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, neither following desires [through] customs, a school of law, a religious order, a leader or a predecessor, nor following conjecture through a weak hadeeth or corrupt analogy, regardless whether it is an analogy that offers some degree of certainty or not, or blindly following someone who it is not obligated to follow his statement and action because Allah -in His Book – has censured those who follow conjecture and that which their souls desire, whilst they abandon following that which came to them from their Lord of Guidance”. Amr bin Al-Aas [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated that he heard Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] saying, ‘’If a Mujtahid gives a verdict according to the best of his knowledge and his verdict is correct, he will receive a double reward, and if he gives a verdict according to the best of his knowledge and his verdict is wrong, even then he will get a reward.’’ [Bukhari Number 7352]

Few Issues From This Hadeeth

[a] A Mujtahid (a scholar who strives to reach a judgement) is not deprived of reward. [b] The judgement of a non-Mujtahid is different from that of a Mujtahid. Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah said that the one who speaks about the religion without knowledge and out of ignorance [is guilty of] lying and sinning. The one who intentionally speaks to oppose the truth is threatened with entry into the fire of hell, as opposed to the affair of the one who speaks based on permissible Ijtihaad, for indeed he strives, fears Allaah as much as he is able, desires to seek knowledge as much as he was able, speaks for the sake of Allaah, knows the stronger proof and speaks based on that. This person is given two rewards if he is correct; but if he is mistaken, he receives one reward. [c] A Mujtahid can be correct or mistaken. [Arba’oona Hadeethaa Fee Usoolil Fiqh. pages 32-33]

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee said, “We do not say that there are people of ijtihaad amongst ahlul bidah because they are followers of desires, and Allaah and His Messenger have testified to this. The misguided innovator stirs up discord and errs, and then says to you, ‘This is ijtihaad’. When Hikmatiyaar and the misguided parties [in Afghanistan] murdered Shaikh Jameel Ur-Rahmaan, they said: ‘This is ijtihaad.’ They do not fall into an affair of misguidance or a calamity except that they say, “This is ijtihaad.” This is [tantamount] to diluting Islaam, falsehood, misguidance, bidah and confounding truth with falsehood, when the mistakes of the [true and qualified scholars of ijtihaad]- for which they are rewarded- are placed at the same level with innovation, about which the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] declared to be a path that will lead to the hell fire”. [2] A Brief Acquaintance With Some of Those Who Preceded Haqiqatjou In Conjecture, Deception and Misguidance

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali [may Allah preserve him] stated: Ibnul Jawzi said, Abul Wafaa Ibn Aqeel Al-Faqee said, our Shaikh Abul Fadl Al-Hamdaani said, ”The individuals who innovate in Islam and the fabricators of Hadeeth are worse than the Mul’hiddoon, as the latter seeks to corrupt Islam externally, while the former aims to corrupt it internally. They (the former) are similar to the people of a country who attempt to corrupt it from within, while the Mul’hiddoon are similar to those who lay siege from outside, so, the ones from within open the fortress. Thus, they are more harmful to Islam than those who do not openly associate themselves with it”. [1]

Imaam Ahmad [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: “There is none more harmful to the people of Islam than the Jahmiyyah. They do not desire other than to nullify the Qur’an and the (authentic) narrations of the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]”. [2]

Al-Haafidh Abdul Ghaniyy Al-Maqdisee [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “(You) should know – may Allah have mercy upon you – that Islam and its people are undermined by three groups and the group that rejects the (authentic) narrations regarding the Attributes of Allah and belie its (reliable) narrators are more harmful to Islam and its people than the disbelievers”. [3]

Ibn Aqeel [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “There is none more harmful to the Shariah than the innovators among the proponents of theological rhetoric and the ignorant Soofees”. [4]

Imaam Ibnul Jawzi [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: “Exhortations are mostly employed when addressing the general public, particularly the common people, thus, the ignorant storytellers managed to find a way to achieve their objectives. Their innovations in the religion continued to escalate until it resulted in significant harm and they initiated evil through their deeds, statements, and goals”. [5]

Yunus Ibn Abdil A’laa [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: I heard Ash-Shaafi’ee [may Allah have mercy upon him] saying, “It would be better for a man to be tempted by everything Allah has forbidden, except for the sin of associating partners with Allah in worship, rather than involving himself in theological rhetoric. This is because I have encountered certain matters from the proponents of theological rhetoric that I never expected to encounter”. [6]

Imaam Maalik [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated, “May Allah curse Amr Ibn Ubaid because indeed he initiated this innovation from theological rhetoric. If theological rhetoric was knowledge, the companions of the Messenger and the Taabi’een would have spoken about it just as they spoke about rulings and laws of the religion, however, it is falsehood and leads to falsehood”. [7]

Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] stated: It is not permissible to transmit false and fabricated narrations and then attribute them to the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]. That is because many amongst the people of misguidance and (vain) desires fabricate narrations, utilise them as proof, and declare them authentic when (such narrations) agree with their desires. But when the authentic narrations oppose their desires, either they belie or distort and explain them (in a manner other than what is intended by) their correct meanings. This is the state of affairs of the people of misguidance. They search for fabricated and false narrations, present them to the people, and utilise them as proof if it agrees with their desires. Also one of the characteristics of a hypocrite is that he lies when he speaks, therefore, do not speak to the people unless you are truthful (in what you say), and do not speak too much regarding the narrations in that which is no benefit out of fear of falling into lies. The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “It is enough (to be considered as) lying that a man speaks about everything that he hears”. [Saheeh Sunan Abee Dawud. Number 4992] [8]

Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] stated: Ahlul Ahwaa [The people who are driven by their vain desires], such as the Mutazilah, the khawaarij, the Rawaafid, and others, are the ones responsible for causing the wars and discord. Fitnah (turmoil) only arises from them and is a result of them. Who was responsible for the assassination of Uthmaan? Who was behind the murder of Ali? Who were the ones that ignited turmoil among the Muslims thereafter? It was none other than these individuals driven by their desires. Who misled Al-Mamoon and those rulers who came after him to persecute Ahlus Sunnah, and ultimately led to the beating and imprisonment of their Imam – Ahmad Bin Hanbal? It was none else other than Ahlul Ahwaa! Who initiated the imprisonment of Shaikh Al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah until he died in prison? It was none else other than Ahlul Ahwaa! It is our responsibility to exercise caution towards these people, as their fitnah ultimately results in the fragmentation of Muslim unity, rebellion against Muslim leaders, and splitting within the Muslim community, leading to the emergence of divergent groups and parties. This stands in stark contrast to the concept of a united Ummah. [9]

[1] A Brief Acquaintance With Some of Those Who Preceded Haqiqatjou In Conjecture, Deception and Misguidance

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Shaikh Shamsuddeen Al-Afghaaniy [may Allah have mercy upon him] said:

Allah guided mankind through Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] and the manifest proofs given to him – guidance that surpassed the knowledge of those with great perception and could not be described by those who were well-versed in the art of description. Allah opened the hearts of the heedless, the ears of the deaf, and the eyes of the blind through this guidance. They were in a state of disharmony, harboured animosity toward one another, and adhered to perverse creeds before Allah united them under a single religion. Allah united their hearts, and as a result of this great blessing, they became true brothers in Islam. Following that, everything worshipped besides Allah, such as graves, trees, stones, and idols, ceased to exist, and all worship was established for Allah alone. [Footnote a] People followed the true religion of Islamic monotheism and worshiped Allah alone, except for those whom Allah decreed would remain as polytheists, hypocrites, and adherents of the altered and distorted previous scriptures. The darkness of polytheism was dispelled, and the banner of Tawheed was raised in Arab and non-Arab lands. Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] died while Islam was established and in authority, superseding all other ways of life and creeds. The Messenger’s rightly guided khulafaa [Footnote b] continued to follow the Messenger’s path until the two powerful and great nations at the time, Rome and Persia, ended up in humiliation, degradation, and fear after they had been in security, and thus Caesar was restricted and besieged, and Chosroes was subdued and destroyed.

When the enemies of Islam realised they couldn’t destroy the religion, they planted agents within it – those who pretended to be Muslims -to sow confusion, trials, and tribulations, and spread polytheism by exaggerating the status of the pious and exalting their graves. As a result, the Ummah was exposed to temptations by Abdullah Bin Saba’s plots, who claimed that Ali Ibn Abee Taalib deserved to be worshipped. The Saba’iyyah were Abdullaah Bin Sabah’s followers, who were later known as the Rawaafid, Ismaaliyyah, Nusayriyah, and others among the Baatiniyyah. They worshiped the graves and their inhabitants and erected places of worship and shrines over them. As a result of these practices, they revived the (corrupt) practices of the Jews, Christians, and idol worshippers (i.e. those among them who abandoned the correct path of their Prophets). This is how grave worshippers’ practices manifested in this Ummah, through practices initiated by the Rawaafid. [Footnote c]

Furthermore, Greek philosophical texts that promoted the concepts of grave worship and idolatry were translated into the Arabic language and gained significant attention among individuals identifying with Islam, such as Al-Faraabee, Ibn Sinaa Al-Hanafi, and Naseer At-Toosee, who advocated disbelief and polytheism, and those who sought to manipulate the teachings of Islam, akin to Paul’s manipulation of Christianity. The Greek Philosophers influenced and led them to advocate for grave worship through Greek Philosophy. The practices of these individuals were prevalent among the followers of rhetoric among the Hanafi Maatooreediyyah and the Ash-ariyyah Kullaabiyyah, as they immersed themselves in the works of the Philosophers. Consequently, they became proponents of grave worship and adhering to the Jahmiyyah creed. Among these individuals were Taftaazaanee Al-Hanafi, who was renowned as a philosopher of the Maatooreediyyah and a follower of grave worship, and Jurjaanee Al-Hanafi, a proponent of superstitious beliefs. [Footnote d]

Another group of people arose within the Muslim community who posed an even greater threat and were more misguided than the aforementioned groups. These individuals adopted an outward appearance of piety, donning the attire of righteousness with tearful eyes, lengthy beards, towering turbans, and clutching oversised prayer beads. They deceitfully claimed to advocate for the teachings of the Prophet, while clandestinely engaging in despicable practices inherited from false religions. They attempted to mix blatant lies with the Qur’an and the authentic narrations to corrupt the clear proofs found in the Qur’an and the Sunnah. These deviant heretics are known as the Hulooliyyah, Ittihaadiyyah Grave Worshipers, such as the likes of Hallaaj (309AH), Ibnul Faarid (632AH) Ibn Arabi (638AH), Ibn Sab’een (669AH), etc [Footnote e] [1]

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee [may Allaah protect him] stated: Shaikh Al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated that the ultimate outcome for those who engage in theological rhetoric is a state of uncertainty and perplexity, while the ultimate outcome for the followers of the Sofee paths is characterized by erratic and irrational behavior along with false claims. The innovators in religious matters among the proponents of theological rhetoric have something of a resemblance to the Jews and those who innovate acts of worship in religious matters have something of a resemblance to the Christians [i.e. those Jews and Christians who deviated after the departure of their Prophets]. That is because these ones [proponents of theological rhetoric] deny the truth and are led to doubt, and those ones [those who innovate acts of worship] believe in falsehood and are led to irrational behavior. These ones are like the darkness in a vast deep sea, overwhelmed by a great wave topped by another great wave, topped by dark clouds, darkness, one above another; and those ones are like a mirage in a desert, the thirsty one thinking it’s water until he comes up to it and discovers it’s nothing. [2]

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee [may Allaah preserve him] said: Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated that the people in their pursuit of knowledge and religion have two innovated paths and a path legislated in the Shari’ah. The path of Islamic legislation involves examining the teachings of the Messenger, utilising them as evidence, and implementing the necessary actions. Therefore, it is imperative to possess knowledge based on the teachings of the Messenger and to act upon them, and merely possessing one of these two is insufficient. As for the two innovated paths, one of them is the path of people who engage in innovated theological discourse and this path is fraught with falsehood. Many of its adherents neglect the obligations prescribed by Allah and His Messenger, leading them to remain in a state of corruption in knowledge and action. Consequently, these individuals deviate towards false Judaism. The second path is taken by people who adopt methods to enhance their spiritual well-being, namely the followers of the Soofi paths, who introduce new forms of worship. These individuals tend to deviate towards false Christianity as they claim that by purifying one’s soul according to their prescribed methods, one will effortlessly acquire extensive knowledge of religious sciences without learning. The worship practices of many of these people are innovated, rather, they contradict the teachings of the Messenger. As a result, they continue to engage in corrupt actions and corruption due to their lack of understanding of the Messenger’s teachings because they do not know what the Messenger conveyed. Neither Allah’s Messenger nor his companions followed the path of those who introduced innovations in religion, such as the proponents of theological rhetoric, nor the path of the proponents of innovated worship and Soofiyyah. Instead, he adhered to what Allah had sent him with, which is based on the Qur’an and Sunnah. [3]

[6] Zionism- Conferences and Seminars

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] said:

وَإِذَا قُلۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡدِلُواْ وَلَوۡ ڪَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰ‌ۖ
And when you testify, be just, even if (it concerns) a near relative. [1]

When you testify by way of a statement to judge between people, differentiate between them in a discourse, and speak regarding matters and circumstances, be just in your speech, adhere to truthfulness regarding those you love and those you hate, be fair and do not conceal what needs to be made clear because it is forbidden and tantamount to injustice to divert (from justice and fairness) when speaking against the one you hate. [2]

Therefore, we remind ourselves of the fact that not all Jews are engaged in the plots of the Zionists, as Shaikh Abu Iyaad [may Allah preserve him] stated, “It is important to note that not all Jews are involved in these intrigues and the Jews as a population have, throughout history, been subject to the whims and desires of their religious and political leaders, and have been made to undergo much persecution as a result”. Must read below:

https://abuiyaad.com/w/king-faisal-zionism?s=35

Christian Coalition Conference (Path to Victory)

The “Christian Coalition Organisation” organises this yearly conference. In 1997, on September 13th, it convened in Atlanta, Georgia, under the theme “Road to Victory”. The conference mobilised the hawks of the American right, such as Speaker of the House of Representatives Newton Leroy Gingrich and the Republican candidates for the 1996 presidential elections, namely: Steve Forbes, Commander Alexander, and Allan Katz, as well as Reverend Pat Robertson, founder of the coalition and president of the conference, who ran for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination in 1988. Many seminars and talks were held throughout the conference, with the majority of them centered on America’s role as a “Christian nation” and its obligation to stand up for “Christians” who are being persecuted abroad. Following the conference, attendees addressed a letter to Congress expressing support for the proposed legislation to impose sanctions on nations that Congress feels are persecuting Christians for their religious beliefs, speaking on behalf of 25 million Americans. [Footnote a] [1] [End of quote]

————————————-

Footnote a: First, this declaration of theirs needs to be revised and sent to France, where Muslims are subjected to persecution, demonization, and insults to the Prophet in the name of freedom.

We remind them, secondly, that millions of Africans, in particular, were compelled to convert to Christianity, and that they were the ones who began the practice of religious persecution through slavery. Listen here by Shaikh Abu Khadeejah [may Allah preserve him] regarding how slaves were treated by the forefathers of these deceivers.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfxUAtyYLJk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1wzrrY5N8g

Third, there is no question that if Christians ever face persecution in any Muslim country for reasons other than their professed religion, it will be owing to the lack of implementation of what the Sunnah has legislated with regard to protection for religious minorities. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “Whoever wrongs a person (non-Muslim) protected by a covenant, violates his rights, burdens him with more work than he can do, or takes something from him without his consent, I will argue on his behalf on the Day of Resurrection”. [Sunan Abu Dawud 3052]

Lastly, all allegations of persecution need to be thoroughly investigated lest it’s a scheme to infiltrate the lands of the Muslims and corrupt their beliefs, as Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah preserve him] stated, “So it is not permissible for the Ulamaa to remain heedless of their plans (i.e. the enemies of Islaam), their actions, their publications, their missionary activities and their various calls (to the Muslims). And also the various poisons they are infusing – which are in opposition to the Qur’an and the Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) and his Sunnah. And nor of what plans they have for (the destruction of) the beliefs and methodologies of Islaam. It is not permissible either, to remain heedless of their concentrated efforts to Christianize or secularize the Muslim youth. And along with that, the Muslim youth and the students are not able to oppose this plan and strategy. Rather it is necessary that the distinguished Ulamaa – those who are experienced and shrewd – it is for such people, in all the places to undertake this duty. So it is obligatory for some of the intelligent and ingenious people from the field of Aqeedah to be mobilised for opposing these plans. And likewise, it is a must that the intelligent and distinguished from amongst the specialists in the Sunnah – that they be mobilised for the refutation of these and similarly the eminent and distinguished from amongst those in the fields of Orientalism for the refutation of the plans of the Orientalists.” [2]

The Shaikh also stated: “I myself believe that it is a benefit – rather it is of necessity – that we know what the enemies are planning for us, and that it is necessary for us to prepare (ourselves in strength) to destroy their plans. However, I do not exaggerate in this matter, rather my view is the view of our Ulamaa and they have all agreed upon this – that amongst the obligatory matters, there are some that are Fard Ain and others that are Fard Kifaayah – and even if knowing the state of the enemies is harmful – it is still necessary for us to know it – but it is treated as Fard Kifaayah. When some attend to it, then the harm is removed from the rest” up until he said: “So I consider that there is no criticism for the Ulamaa and the students of knowledge who take great concern for preserving the Sharee’ah of Allaah – in terms of the Book, the Sunnah, and its understanding – for this is one of the duties of the Kifaayah actions. And I believe that these people are more superior, noble, truthful and of more benefit to Islaam than those who are weak in their knowledge of the religion of Allaah or those who have no share in acquainting themselves with it.” [3]

[5] Zionism – Conferences and Seminars

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Freedom House Conference (Global Persecution of Christians):

On January 23, 1996, Christian Zionists in America launched a campaign to save Christians around the world from “persecution,” as they said. The campaign was launched by a Jewish man named “Michael Horevitz” in a Wall Street Journal article titled “The new fanaticism between the cross and the crescent” on July 5, 1995, drawing attention to the “growing and increasing persecution of Christian missionaries,” he said, and urging the American Christian Community to face this challenge. Then he wrote a letter to 150 leaders of boards of directors of Protestant organisations and churches, beginning his message by saying, “As an American Jew, I am very grateful for the Christian community’s brotherhood in the face of opposing anti-Semitic movements.” As a result, evangelical fundamentalists founded the “Freedom House” organisation for this purpose, as requested by that Jew. The “Freedom House” organisation then organised a conference named “Global Persecution of Christians” to defend and protect Christians. At this conference, the “Freedom House organisation” distributed a statement titled “A Statement to Arouse Conscience,” in which they stated that the “National Association of Evangelicals” is responsible for “Freedom House,” and that it includes 42,500 American evangelical groups. The following are the most important points from the conference statement:

[I] Introduction, demonstrating the interest of American evangelicals in the religious freedom of Christians, and demanding that the government take action to curb religious persecution of Christians around the world.

[II] The facts: The statement examines the conditions of Christians and how authorities in various nations subject them to persecution and terrorism.

[III] Principles: It is a set of fundamental ideas and ground rules for defending the rights of Christians around the world.

[IV] The call to action, which specifies the policies that the government of the United States of America may adopt to protect the rights of Christians, and among those policies advocated were:

– Informing the international community about governmental and terrorist persecution of Christians.

-A new anti-persecution law

– Issue directives to ambassadors to hold periodic meetings with church movements in countries where there is persecution.

-Appoint a Special Advisor to the President on Religious Freedom, whose job it will be to prepare a report and provide policy recommendations on religious persecution by taking firm action.

-Linking international trade and negotiations to situations of religious persecution.

-Providing diplomatic assistance and asylum to persecuted people

-Release documented reports on religious persecution by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Human Rights Office and other government entities.

-Develop the role of embassies with regard to pursuing religious freedom.

-Distinction between various Christian groups in periodic reports, as well as the state of religious freedom for each of them.

-Establish rules for processing pleas from those fleeing persecution.

-Setting a deadline for the cessation of aid to countries that fail to take decisive measures to end the persecution, and the return of aid is not permitted unless the American President makes a written pledge that this country or countries have begun to take Practical steps to end the persecution.

Conclusion: The statement ended with the assertion that religious freedom is a gift from God to humanity and that it is “a basic pillar that distinguishes trait our audience and our people are known for. [1] [Footnote a] [End of quote]

Regarding trying to use aid to subjugate nations, this is an old practice of the Neo-colonialists and globalists regardless of whether the nation in question has a history of oppressing minorities.

And likewise it is a must that the intelligent and distinguished from amongst the specialists in the Sunnah – that they be mobilised for the refutation of these and similarly the eminent and distinguished from amongst those in the fields of Orientalism for the refutation of the plans of the Orientalists.” [2]
