Backing Up Your Claims In Three Important Affairs- Haatim Al-Asam

Haatim Al-Asam (rahimahullaah) said: Whoever claims three affairs without three other affairs is a liar: [a] The one who claims to love Allaah without fearing what He has forbidden is a liar; [b] the one who claims to love paradise without spending his wealth is a liar; [c] The one who claims to love the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) without loving the poor people is a liar.

Hungry People Hoping for a Mouthful of Food & Scrap of Bread, Yet Some People Waste Food – a brief Admonition by Shaikh Fawzaan

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) said:

Reducing spending and not being extravagant and wasteful is an obligation during marriage ceremonies and other than it. These squanderers who waste meat and food and dispose of it in waste bins should be reminded that there are hungry people hoping for a mouth full of (food) and a scrap of bread. (They should be reminded) to fear Allaah and to fear Him in their gatherings, and that they do not become the cause of Allaah’s blessings being stop.

Some Effects of the Authentic Sunnah upon the Heart’ -By Imaam Ibnul Qayyim

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said:

If the (bright) sun of the Sunnah rises in the heart of a servant, the mist (or fogginess) of every Bid’ah is cut from his heart and the darkness of every (act, practice or belief of) misguidance ceases to exist. [Source: Madaarij As-Saalikeen (1/379)]

Abu Haazim Was Asked about Closeness (between two people) and Its Sweetness!

It was said to Abu Haazim (rahimahullaah), “What is closeness? (i.e. a close relationship between two people?); he said, “Strong love (for one another).” Then he was asked, “What is the sweetness (of this strong love)? He said, “To be in agreement (i.e. to agree on what is right and agree in rejecting what is wrong). Then it was said to him, “What is relaxation?” He said, “Paradise.”

Poisoned Food – Ash Shaykh Abdur Razzaaq Al Badr

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Ash Shaykh Abdur Razzaaq bin Abdul Mohsin Al Badr (May Allah preserve them) wrote:

Have you seen if a man was afflicted with severe hunger and delicious food was placed in his hands and he extended his hands (to his mouth) to eat from the food; then it was said to him: “indeed it is poisoned, if you eat from it, it will harm you or destroy you”, will he place his hands in it (eat it) or will he refrain?

Subhaanallah!!

How can a person stay far away from (poisoned) food, fearing it’s harm!! And he doesn’t stay away from sins fearful of their punishment!!

May Allah guide us –
