Spiteful Slanderers Amongst Blazing Hizbiyyoon – at Markaz Tawheed – Emerge to Make False Accusations Against a Salafi Brother’s Business Dealings

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allaah [The Most High] said:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. [Surah An-Nisaa. Ayah 135]

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: Allaah [Glorified be He and Free is He From all Imperfections] commanded His servants to stand out firmly for justice on behalf of everyone – be it an enemy or an ally. Allaah [Glorified be He and free is He from all imperfections] commands us to stand out firmly for justice and testify (for or against) everyone, even if it were someone who is the most beloved person to us. A person should stand out firmly for justice (whether it is for or against) himself, his two parents, his other close relatives and his best friend amongst the people. If a person’s love for himself, his parents and his relatives prevents him from standing out firmly for the truth against them, especially if the truth is with someone he hates and regards as an enemy due to them, then indeed none will stand out firmly for justice in such circumstances except one whose love for Allaah and His Messenger is more than their love for everyone else. Likewise, a person has to establish justice when dealing with his enemies and that one who deprives him of his rights, because indeed it is not permissible that hatred for his enemies leads him to be unjust towards them, just as it is not permissible (to allow) love of himself, his parents and relatives to make him abandon standing firmly for justice against them. Therefore, hatred harboured against someone should not lead him to falsehood, and love of (oneself, parents and relatives) should not make him fall short in establishing truth, just as some of the Salaf said, “The just person is that one who when angry, his anger does not lead him to falsehood, and when he is pleased, it does not remove him from truth”. (1)

Allaah [The Most High] said:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do. [Surah Al-Maa’idah. Ayah 8]

“O you who believe”- Meaning, O you who believe in that which your Eemaan obligates on you! Establish that which your Eemaan necessitates so that you are “Stand out firmly for Allaah and be just witnesses”- being eager and active in establishing justice in all your apparent and hidden deeds, do so for the sake of Allaah alone and not due to some worldly gaol, and intend to do justice- neither going beyond bounds nor falling short in your statements and actions. Do this on behalf one who is close to you and one who is not close to you, on behalf of a friend and an enemy. And let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice, as this is what is done by the one who neither deals justly nor gives people the rights due to them; rather stand out firmly for justice – for and against your allies, just as you stand out firmly for justice for and against your enemies. (2)

Allaah [The Most High] said: [يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اجْتَنِبُوا كَثِيرًا مِنْ الظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعْضَ الظَّنِّ إِثْمٌ – O you who believe! Avoid much suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins]. [Surah Al-Hujuraat. Aayah 12]

Imaam as-Sa’di [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Allaah [The Most High] has forbidden much evil suspicion towards the believers, because some suspicions are sins. And that is like the suspicion devoid of reality and factual evidence, and like the suspicion accompanied by much forbidden speech and action, for indeed the settlement of evil suspicion in the heart does not restrict the one (in whose heart is that evil suspicion) only to that; rather, he does not cease until he utters and does that which is not permissible”. (3)

The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Beware of (unjustified) suspicion, because suspicion is the most false of speech”. [Saheeh Muslim 2563]

Al-Khattaabee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “(Unjustified) evil suspicion is the source of an abundance of lies”. [Umdatul Qaaree By Badr Ad-Deen Al-Aynee 23/232]

Indeed, this article has not been written because Masjid Al-Furqan, Masjid Abi Hurairah, Al-Markazus Salafi or any other Salafi Masjid is a business partner or an employee of Northroad Academy, lest it is said that the purpose behind it is to secure some financial gain; rather it has been written to repel oppression against a Muslim whose honour is violated by those specific hizbiyyoon at Markaz Tawheed – those who have been refuted and exposed for aiding the people of Bidah in that which would strengthen their Bidah. [see here: https://salafidawahmanchester.com/2022/09/02/6-the-affair-of-markaz-tawheed-o-truthful-adherents-to-salafiyyah-in-stoke-on-trent-neither-participate-nor-spend-a-penny-in-an-event-that-will-aid-staunch-soofees-to-strengthen-their-bidah-and-m/ ]

So, during the past few weeks, whilst some of those specific blazing hizbiyyoon are being rebutted for their crimes and lies against the sound Salafi Manhaj, they’ve now decided – based on blameworthy evil suspicion, evil speculation and a desire to gain the upper hand through evil speech – to attack the honour of a Salafi brother in order to divert attention from their bidah of hizbiyyah and the crimes they’ve been committing in the name of the pure Salafi Manhaj. Indeed, even though we’ll not allow these hizbiyyoon to divert our attention from rebutting their crimes against the Salafi Manhaj, however, one cannot remain silent when others are slandered and oppressed. Abu Bakrah [may Allaah be pleased with him] said, “The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said during his last pilgrimage, ‘What is the day today?’ We kept quiet, thinking he might give the day another name. The Prophet said, ‘Is it not the day of sacrificing?’ We said ‘Yes’. The Prophet said, ‘Which month is this?’ We again kept quiet, thinking he might give it another name. The Prophet said, ‘Is it not the month of Dhul Hijja?’ We said, ‘Yes’. The Prophet said, ‘Verily, your lives, your property, and your honor are sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this city of yours. Let one present inform those who are absent; perhaps one present will inform another who understands better than him'”. [Saheeh Al-Bukhari. Number 67]

Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Lying against an individual is absolutely forbidden- whether the man (i.e. the one lied against) is a Muslim or a disbeliever, righteous or a wicked sinner; but fabricating lies against a believer is more severe”. [Majmoo Al-Fataawaa 28/223]

So, what will make you know that slander and that lying against a Muslim is a more severe crime?! The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said: “Shall I not inform you of the biggest of the great sins?” We said, “Certainly, O Allah’s Messenger”. He said, “To associate partners with Allaah in worship, to be undutiful to one’s parents.” The Prophet sat up after he had been reclining and added, “And I warn you against giving forged statement and a false witness; I warn you against giving a forged statement and a false witness.” The Prophet kept on saying that warning till we thought that he would not stop”. [Al-Bukhaari. Number 5979] He [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] also said: “Whoever argues based on falsehood knowingly will not cease to be under the wrath of Allaah until he stops. And whoever says about a believer that which is not true, he will reside in Radghat Al-Khabaal (pus) until he recants”. [Abu Dawud. Number 3597. Silsilah As-Saheehah Number 437]

Even though the Manhaj crimes being committed by those hizbiyyoon – at Markaz Tawheed – are more severe than their vile personal attacks, however, they will not be allowed to violate the honour of anyone, especially the honour of a person whose honesty is well known to us – as clear as the mid day sun- over two decades. Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to stand firm and defend his honour, whilst not fearing the blame of the blamers. Allaah [The Most High] said: [إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِتَحۡكُمَ بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِمَآ أَرَٮٰكَ ٱللَّهُ‌ۚ وَلَا تَكُن لِّلۡخَآٮِٕنِينَ خَصِيمً۬ا – Surely, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad) the Book (this Qur’an) in truth that you might judge between men by that which Allah has shown you (i.e. has taught you through Divine Inspiration), so be not a pleader for the treacherous (or deceitful person)]. [Surah An-Nisaa Ayah 105]

Imaam As-Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Do not argue for the one whose treachery (or deception) is known, such as the one who either pursues what does not belong to him or one who rejects a right he must fulfil, whether he is aware of that or not. In this is proof to (establish) that it is forbidden to argue based on falsehood and pleading (on behalf) of one who makes a false claim – in religious or worldly disputes. On the other hand, it is permissible to plead on behalf of someone -in a dispute- who is not known for treachery (or deception)”. [An Excerpt from Tafseer as-Sadi]

Finally, Official Statement 2022: https://www.northroadacademy.com/statement-2022/

The above clarification is the truth and whoever claims otherwise is a malicious liar and a shameless slanderer. We have not made this statement because Al-Markazus Salafi, Masjid Al-Furqan, Masjid Abi Hurairah or any other Salafi Masaajid are business partners or employees at Northroad Academy, lest it is said that this article is written for some financial gain; rather the intent behind this article is to defend the honour of a Muslim – an adherent to the sound Salafi Manhaj – whom the hizbiyyoon seek to slander in order to divert attention from their crimes against the Salafi Manhaj. We ask Allaah to protect us from the spiteful hizbiyyoon and guide them to what is praiseworthy Aameen.

[9] The Affair of Markaz Tawheed: [Shaytaan or Urge of The Evil Soul Enticed Insolent Liar (Kadh’dhaabun Ashir) at Markaz Tawheed to Slander Shaikh Abu Khadeejah]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “It is enough falsehood for a person to speak of everything he hears”. [Saheeh Muslim. Number 5]

The specific hizbi or those specific hizbiyyoon at Markaz Tawheed wrote in their text – after mentioning a list of people we have abandoned: “This list can be stretched but it shows how these brothers busy themselves with excessively finding the faults of others in opposition to the methodology of the Salaf of this Ummah. A clear example of this is Abu Khadeejah declaring Shaykh Bakr Abu Zayd and Shaykh Ibn Jibreen to be from Ahlul Bidah due to some errors of theirs, this is the level of extremism he declares major scholars to be innovators. When Shaykh Rabee was asked about Shaikh Bakr Abu Zayd being an innovator, he said, “The one that forwards from me that I make tabdee on Bakr Abu Zayd then he is a liar”. [End of quote]

We have already dealt with the affair of Shaikh Bin Jibrin in post 8 and the view of Al-Allaamah Ahmad Bin Yahyah An-Najmi regarding his affair. Now let us deal with the affair of Shaikh Bakr Abu Zayd, because the hizbiyyoon claim- in the above quote – that Shaikh Abu Khadeejah declared an innovator in religious affairs and that he is from ahlul bidah!

Firstly, even if what the treacherous hizbi or those treacherous specific blazing hizbiyyoon – at Markaz Tawheed- stated is true, they concealed and refrained from differentiating between two affairs – a person being declared as one from ahlul bidah and being declared as an innovator in religious affairs! Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiri [may Allaah protect him] was asked, “We hear a statement from some of the Mashaayihk of Ahlus Sunnah, ‘This man is from ahlul bidah (the people of Bidah)’, is it understood that he is a Mubtadi (an innovator in religious affairs) or not?” Answer: “What I have knowledge of is that this statement has two applications according to Ahlus Sunnah. The first of them and it is what is meant in most cases is that he is a Mubtadi (an innovator in religious affairs). He knows the truth but he is an obstinate person. He refuses (truth)], but not deviation; knows the Sunnah, but refuses to follow it and (follows) Bidah. He commits Bidah whilst knowing that it is bidah. The other meaning is that this man is a person upon bidah-meaning, he commits bidah even though he is not an innovator in religious affairs, because what we know regarding the methodology of Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jamaaa’ah is that they do not declare any specific person an innovator in religious affairs until the proofs are established against him”. (1) (see ‘footnote a’ for further clarification on Tabdee)

Secondly, the statement of Al Allaamah Rabee [may Allaah protect him] – regarding not declaring Shaikh Bakr Abu Zayd [may Allaah have mercy upon him] an innovator in religious affairs – is something well known.

Thirdly, Shaikh Abu Khadeejah [may Allaah protect him] neither declared Shaikh Bakr Abu Zayd [may have mercy upon him] to be from ahlul bidah nor that he is an innovator in religious affairs. This is a mighty slander! Whenever the blazing hizbiyyoon are rebutted with clear (unambiguous) proof and have no other way of responding except that their devils whisper lies to them to slander the Salafi students. This is one the treacherous paths through which shaytaan and hearts submerged in hizbiyyah lead the hizbiyyoon to seek the upper hand against the Salafiyyoon! Ameerul Mumineen Umar Ibnul Khattaab [may Allaah be pleased with him] said, “It more beloved to me to be lowered by truthfulness – and that rarely happens – than being raised by a lie”. (1.1) “It is said that the liar is a thief, because the thief deceives you with regards to your wealth and the liar deceives you with regards to your intellect”. (2)

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Beware of kadhib [lying], for indeed it corrupts one’s ability to illustrate information based on what it should be in reality. It corrupts one’s ability to illustrate information and his ability to teach the people. The liar portrays what is non-existent as something present and what is present as something non-existent. He portrays truth as something false and falsehood as something true; he portrays good as evil and evil as good, so this corrupts his conception and knowledge, which then becomes a punishment upon him. Then he portrays what is not true to the one deceived by him – the one who is inclined towards him- so he corrupts his conception and knowledge. The soul of the liar turns away from the existing reality -inclined towards what is non-existent and gives preference to falsehood. And when his conception and knowledge is corrupted, which is the basis of every wilful chosen deed, his deeds become corrupt and marked by lies, so those deeds would emanate from him just as lies emanate from the tongue- he neither benefits from his tongue nor his deeds. This is why lying is the basis [or foundation] of immorality, just as the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Indeed lies lead to immorality [or wickedness] and indeed immorality [or wickedness] leads to the fire. [Bukhaari 2606/2607]

Firstly lies emerges from the heart and then on the tongue, so it corrupts it; then it transfers to the limbs and corrupts its actions, just as it corrupts the statements of the tongue. Therefore, lying prevails over his statements, deeds and state of affairs; corruption becomes deeply rooted in him and its disease leads to destruction if Allaah does not grant him cure him with the medication of truthfulness, which uproots its (i.e. lying) from its original source. This is why the basis [or foundation] of all the deeds of the hearts is based on truthfulness; and the basis of their opposites – such as showing off, self-amazement, pride, being glad [with ungratefulness to Allaah’s Favours], conceitedness, boastfulness, insolence, weakness, laziness, cowardice, disgrace and other than them- is lies. The origin of every righteous deed- whether carried out in private or public- is based on truthfulness. And the origin of every corrupt deed – whether carried out in private or public- is lies”. (2.1)

Indeed, this behaviour is expected from the blazing hizbiyyoon of Markaz Tawheed and their ilk, as Al-Allaamah Muqbil Bin Haadi Al-Waadi’ee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “The pillars of hizbiyyah [illigal partsanship] are three: giving falsehood the image of truth, deception (or trickery) and lies”. (3)

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi [may Allaah protect him] stated, “Numerous are the liars today against the carriers of the Salafi Dawah and its callers! They are able to spread oppressive rumours until it reaches all the world through various means that have been made available to them in this era. They hinder the people from the path of Allaah by way of these rumours and seek to make it crooked, aid their falsehoods by way of it, their utter nonsense and dangerous religious innovations that destroy the sound belief, the sound Islamic approaches to various subject matters and the virtuous manners”. (4)

The Shaikh also said, “Wherever the adherents to the Salafi methodology and its students are or wherever they go, then it is obligated on them to step up and aid one another to raise the word of truth, Tawheed and Sunnah, and to subdue religious innovations, misguidance and doubts; establish Allaah’s proofs against all the various misguided people, make known the reality of the liars and the fakers. And they should know that the opponents against the truth have reached the highest level of plotting and planning, and from this is their preoccupation with the task of silencing many amongst Ahlus Sunnah and the adherents to truth, and restraining them from confronting the falsehood that is covered in the garb of truth. This category of people amongst the adherents to falsehood are more severe in employing lies, duplicity and pretending to possess that which they do not possess; so they are just as the Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] stated, “The one who pretends that he has been given what he has not been given, is just like the (false) one who wears two garments of falsehood”. So, we find them as ones who praise the people of falsehood the most and making their affair to appear pleasing, whilst they are the most severe in speaking ill against the adherents to the truth and its callers. Indeed, they have set up corrupt principles to aid falsehood and the adherents to misguided methodologies; waging war against the adherents to truth by devising plots and repugnant affairs, manifesting their hatred and enmity against the adherents to truth and hastening- without boredom and tiredness – to instruct the youth to oppose the people of truth, striving hard to aid falsehood and topple the adherents to truth”. (5)

Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] was asked, “Is lying permissible in Dawah? And is ‘The goal justifies the means’ a maslahah (benefit) from the masaalih (beneficial affairs) of the Sharee’ah?'”

Answer: “Lying is not permissible. It is a major sin from the major sins. It is not permissible except in three affairs which the prophet made an exception; lying during war, because war is deceit; (see footnote b); lying in order to bring about peace between the people; and lying between married couples in order to bring about rectification to the family with regards to the relationship between (husband and the wife). These three affairs are that of maslahah, and in them is a greater good than evil; so (lying) is permissible (in this case). As for Dawah, it has no need for lies. It is not permissible to utilize lies in Dawah. Dawah is to (be carried out) by way of truth, the Book, the sunnah, fine admonition and arguing in a way that is better and not by way of lies”. (6)

Finally, the blazing shameless hizi or those specific group of hizbiyyoon uttered this lie, but not a single one amongst their group has openly rebutted them. Subhaanallaah! Lying is hated in all nations. Abu Sufyan [may Allaah be pleased with him] stated (i.e. before accepting Islam and whilst present with the delegation in the presence of the king of Rome), “By Allaah! Had I not been afraid of my companions labelling me a liar, I would not have spoken the truth about him [i.e. The Prophet]”. [Sahih Al-Bukhaari: Book of Revelation. Hadeeth Number 7 Vol 1] Imaam Ibn Hajr [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated in Fat-hul Baari that this shows that they [i.e. the pagan Arabs] used to abhor lying [or used to consider it to be an ugly deed]- either based on what they followed from the previous revealed laws [i.e. the path of Ibraaheem (alayhis-salaam) etc] or it was something abhorred in their customs. [An Excerpt from Fat-hul Baari]

Footnote b: The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “War is a stratagem (or deceit)”. (7) Imaam At-Tabari [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “To give a wrong impression – during war – through Mu’aaradah [i.e. making one’s statements or actions obscure (ambiguous) to mislead the opponent about one’s real plans] is allowed”. (8) Ibnul Arabi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Stratagem during war occurs by way of concealment and giving a wrong impression (to the opponent)”. (9) Ka’b Bin Maalik [may Allaah be pleased with him] said, “When the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] intended to go on an expedition (against a people with whom there is no treaty and war was declared), he always pretended to be going somewhere else, and he would say, ‘War is stratagem (or deceit)”. [6] The Affair of Markaz Tawheed: [O Truthful Adherents to Salafiyyah In Stoke On Trent! Neither Participate Nor Spend a Penny In An Event That Will Aid Staunch Soofees to Strengthen Their Bidah and Misguidance]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The blazing hizbi or those specific blazing hizbiyyoon at Markaz at-Tawheed stated “If cooperating with non-Muslims is permitted (i.e. in some cases), then cooperation with those less than them is permitted if done for a Sharee’ah purpose!”

Firstly, we remind those specific individuals at Markaz Tawheed that Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Adhering to (erroneous or false analogies), whilst (deliberately) turning away from the texts of the (Sharee’ah) and the narrations of (the Salaf) is a path of ahlul bidah”. [Majmoo Al-Fataawaa 7/392]

Therefore, they should be very careful lest this crime mentioned by Shaikhul Islaam becomes their distinguished path in many other affairs. May Allaah protect us and our families from this evil Aameen.

Secondly, Shaikh Nizaar Ibn Hishaam [may Allaah preserve him] was asked: The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said about the Fudul Alliance, “If I had been called, I would have answered them”. What is the rebuttal against those who use this as evidence to cooperate with ahlul bidah? What is your answer to this doubt? May Allaah reward you with good.

Answer: “The rebuttal is from various angles: The response of the Prophet is due to the good found in the affair and not because they (i.e. those people) were good people. This is similar to the general covenants with the unbelievers that do not contradict Islam, such as covenants of security and peace, borders and international requirements related to travel, movement and representation (diplomatic), which preserves the organisation of public life and the lives of Muslims, such as the Treaty of Hudaybiyah. This is interaction and cooperation for the sake of the interests of Muslims and their religion, the interests of the unbelievers so that the Muslims are safe from their evil and an opportunity to invite them to Islam. As for ahlul bidah, (see footnote a) then indeed their danger and evil is greater than the harm of the unbelievers. The unbelievers – due to their apparent disbelief – pose a danger against the lives of the Muslims, their wealth and morals; but as for ahlul bidah, they destroy the very core, (sound) principles and rituals of Islam in the name of Islam. This (statement of the Prophet) was at the beginning of Islam, then it was abandoned. It is established in Sahih Muslim that “There is no alliance (hilf) in Islam”, if what we mean by this is alliances between Muslims, because Islam (already) gathered all good for its adherents. And if what we mean by it is the (alliance and co-operation) between Muslims and others, then it is permissible for that which does not contradict and oppose Islam, such as reconciliation with them and covenants, as we have mentioned”. [End of quote] [1]

The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “There is no alliance (hilf) in Islam but (the hilf) established in the pre-Islamic days (for good). Islam intensifies and strengthens it” [Saheeh Muslim Number 2530] Imaam an-Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “There is no alliance in Islam, meaning, alliance upon that which the Sharee’ah has forbidden”. [Sharh Saheeh Muslim. Vol 16. page 67]

Also must read: Alliance with the non-Muslims is of two types – misunderstanding this affair leads people astray: https://abukhadeejah.com/having-alliance-with-the-non-muslims-is-of-two-types-misunderstanding-this-affair-leads-people-astray/

Shaikh Nizaar continues….. Indeed, with regards to what the Salafis are upon – by the grace of Allaah upon them – of adherence to the true Sharee'ah, (they) are completely not in need of others, such as ahlul bidah. The proofs are with the Salafis originally and rebutting everyone who opposes them, so why cooperate with ahlul bidah?! Indeed, the pious predecessors did not carry an understanding that is similar to this misunderstanding, and likewise those scholars who followed their path; rather, they were all upon other than this (act of cooperating with ahlul bidah). They warned against them and rebuked them. Their stance against ahlul bidah in their books is known as (clear as the) sun and their history is a written witness. [Read here: https://salafidawahmanchester.com/2022/08/27/from-statements-of-the-imaams-regarding-obligation-of-hating-and-detesting-ahlul-bidah-by-shaikh-khaalid-adh-dhufayri-part-1/

This (i.e. cooperating with ahlul bidah) contradicts the principles of Islam, such as the principle: “Preventing corruption takes precedence over bringing benefits”. Likewise, what Islam calls to with regards to preserving and preservation of the religion is pure and pristine. Therefore, let them give us one proof from the Dawah and history of the pious predecessors – in their era – regarding this so called co-operation with ahlul bidah. They (i.e. pious predecessors said, “The Jamaa’ah is what agrees with the truth, even if you are alone”. Indeed, the situation bears witness to what has been stated. Whoever fell into this cooperation – among those who attributed to the Sunnah – became corrupted and not rectified; deceived and did not establish anything except bidah and its adherents; mixed up the affairs, entered the ranks of those who harbour ulterior motives and those who sneak in to fulfil their goals. So, what good came out of this?! Rather, it was a reason for confounding truth with falsehood, took away a group of the Ummah’s youth from the truth, its scholars and group. This (i.e. co-operating with ahlul bidah) contradicts the clear text [i.e. the hadeeth in (Saheeh Al-Jaami 2994) which the Prophet advised us that when there is neither a Muslim ruler nor group upon the truth], “Separate yourself from all these groups though you may have to eat the roots of trees (in a jungle) until death comes to you and you are in this state”. Final observations

Observation 1: Shaikh Nizaar [may Allaah preserve him] stated: “This (i.e. cooperating with ahlul bidah) contradicts the principles of Islam, such as the principle: “Preventing corruption takes precedence over bringing benefits”. Likewise, what Islam calls to with regards to preserving and preservation of the religion is pure and pristine”. [End of quote]

Markaz Tawheed and those other Masaajid participating in the event are aiding the Soofees of Markazi Jamia Ghausia and this assistance – without a doubt – will strengthen their bidah, so how can this deed of theirs be considered a beneficial purpose in the name of Sharee’ah?! Rather, they are facilitating the means to strengthening the bidah of the Soofees.

See below Soofees of Markazi Jamia Ghausia Celebrating The BIdah of Mawlid- The Ones Markaz Tawheed Has Joined to Help Raise Funds

Observation 2: This deed of Markaz Tawheed – aiding the Soofees to raise funds for their bidah is a dangerous affair in the sight of Allaah. May Allaah protect us from this calamity and turn them away from it before it leads to something more disastrous. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him said, “Whoever starts a good thing and is followed by others, he will have his own reward and a reward equal to that of those who follow him, without it detracting from their reward in any way. Whoever starts a bad thing  and is followed by others, will bear the burden of his own sin and a burden equal to that of those who follow him, without it detracting from their burden in any way”. [Reported by al-Tirmidhi, no. 2675]

Observation 3: Markaz Tawheed joins others to encourage people to spend their wealth in a manner that would strengthen the Bidah and falsehood of the soofees. Indeed, one’s wealth should not be spent to aid others to strengthen their corruption, otherwise such deed would be tantamount to ingratitude. Allaah [The Most High] said:

In order that you may mount on their backs, and then may remember the Favour of your Lord when you mount thereon, and say: “Glory to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could never have it (by our efforts). And verily, to Our Lord we indeed are to return!”

Imaam As-Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Mentioned in this Aayah are the three pillars of gratitude and they are: acknowledgement of Allaah’s blessings, proclaim and speak about Allaah’s blessings, submit to Allah and utilise these blessings to carry out acts of worship for the sake of Allaah (alone). That is because the intent behind the statement of Allah: [وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ – And verily, to Our Lord we indeed are to return] is an acknowledgement of recompense and make preparations for it. The objective behind these favours is that they are an aid by way of which the slave (seeks) to fulfil that which Allah has commanded him (i.e. acts of worship and obedience etc)

And regarding Allaah’s saying: [ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ إِذَا اسْتَوَيْتُمْ – And then may remember the favour of your Lord when you mount thereon], this is a specific mention of the (favour) in that at the time in which the person enjoys those favours because blessings intoxicates many amongst the creation, makes them heedless, evil and ungrateful. Therefore, this state in which Allah commanded (a person to remember Him for His Favours) is a medication for this destructive ailment. When the person recalls that he is completely surrounded by the blessings of Allah and that nothing is from him (or herself), but rather blessings are (from Allah) – its means are facilitated and its obtainment made easy (by Allaah), he (she) submits to Allah, humbles him (or herself), thanks and Praises Allaah. And by way of this he (or she) is given continuous blessings. (3)

Footnote a: The two types of Bidah: Bida’atul Mukaffirah and Bida’atul Mufassiqah: Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah preserve him] was asked whether there is a difference between Bidah Al-Mukaffirah and Bidah Al-Mufassiqah; so he replied that there is Bidah Mukaffirah, such as rejecting the Ruyah (i.e. denying that the believers will see Allaah in the afterlife); rejecting Allaah’s Uluww [i.e. denying that Allaah is above his creation –Allaah ascended over the Throne in a way that benefits his majesty)]; invoking other than Allaah; offering slaughtered sacrifice (i.e. animals) to other than Allaah etc. These are affairs of Bidah Al-Mukaffirah (the bidah that is tantamount to disbelief); but we do not make Takfeer of the people who commit this type of Bidah until we establish the proofs against them. That is because some of them (i.e. the people who fall into these affairs) carry doubts and are far away from the era of Prophethood and its light (i.e. guidance). So they fall into the likes these innovations. Rejecting the Ruyah is disbelief; rejecting Allaah’s Uluww is disbelief; the saying that the Qur’aan is created is disbelief-major disbelief; but this person -[who testifies that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allaah, and he prays, observes fasting, wants paradise and believes in that] -received the doubts of the people of falsehood, so he falls into the likes of these affairs (i.e. these innovations that are tantamount to disbelief). So we say to him, “You have fallen into disbelief and the evidence is this and this, and we clarify for him”. So if Allaah grants him Tawfeeq [i.e. blesses him with knowledge and to act] and he returns to the truth, then all praise is due to Allaah; but if not, we declare him a disbeliever after establishing the proofs against him. As for Bidah Al-Mufassiqah it is other than this (i.e. it is not at the level of that which is tantamount to disbelief)…[ http://www.rabee.net/ar/questions.php?cat=26&id=484 .paraphrased] NB: Takfeer: [i.e. expelling a Muslim from the fold of Islam] is the job of the upright scholars of Islaam. [5] The Affair of Markaz Tawheed (Stoke On Trent) – [Four Brief Observations On Their Desperate Tactics In Defamation That We’re Lacking in Al-Walaa Wal Baraa]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “If anyone’s intercession intervenes as an obstacle to one of the punishments prescribed by Allah, he has opposed Allah; if anyone disputes knowingly about something which is false, he remains in the displeasure of Allah till he desists, and if anyone makes an untruthful accusation against a Muslim, he will be made by Allah to dwell in the corrupt fluid flowing from the inhabitants of Hell till he retracts his statement”. [Saheeh Abu Dawud. Number 3597]

The blazing hizbi or those specific blazing hizbiyyoon at Markaz Tawheed wrote: “There is a principle that was mentioned above of loving and hating for the sake of Allah. This means loving the Muslims and Islam and hatred of that which is in opposition to it. This seems to be lacking from these brothers, let me explain. Shaykh Albani talks about when Muslims are under attack from secularists then how one should cooperate and not refute the Islamic Jamaahs as it will strengthen the secularists – some may agree or disagree with this. But these brothers rather go to opposite end and refute other Muslims using terminology that will draw the intention of the media, government and intelligence organisations. Is this how one behaves with his Muslim brethren, resulting in Mosques upon Tawheed been investigated by the Security services because of their slander. Shaykh Wasiullah Abbas warned Abu Khadeejah about this behaviour and he said this is very dangerous and he should know that this kind of behaviour then Allah will finish it with you. And now we see that this same individual has been blacklisted by the DfE for extremism and intolerance”. [End of quote]

Observation 1: In the above text, they falsely accused the Salafiyyoon of lacking sound Walaa Wal Baraa [Love and hating for the sake of Allaah]! Firstly, we remind them that the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “If anyone disputes knowingly about something which is false, he remains in the displeasure of Allah till he desists, and if anyone makes an untruthful accusation against a Muslim, he will be made by Allah to dwell in the corrupt fluid flowing from the inhabitants of Hell till he retracts his statement”. [Saheeh Abu Dawud. Number 3597]

Observation 2: They stated, “This (i.e. loving and hating for the sake of Allaah) means loving Muslims and Islam and hatred of that which is in opposition to it”.

So, here we elaborate on this statement in order to make known what our stance is regarding Al Walaa Wal Baraa- [Love and hate For The Sake of Allaah].

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said to his father and his people: “Verily, I am innocent of what you worship, except Him (i.e. I worship none but Allah Alone) Who did create me, and verily, He will guide me.” And he made it [i.e. La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah Alone)] a Word lasting among his offspring (True Monotheism), that they may turn back (i.e. to repent to Allah or receive admonition). [Surah Az-Zukhruf 26-28]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

قَالَ أَفَرَءَيۡتُم مَّا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡبُدُونَ
أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُڪُمُ ٱلۡأَقۡدَمُونَ
فَإِنَّہُمۡ عَدُوٌّ۬ لِّىٓ إِلَّا رَبَّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ

He [Ibraaheem] said: “Do you observe that which you have been worshipping – you and your ancient fathers? Verily! They are enemies to me, save the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)”. [Surah Ash-Shu’araa. 75-77]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

Say (O Muhammad ): “What thing is the most great in witness?” Say: “Allah (the Most Great!) is Witness between me and you; this Qur’an has been revealed to me that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach. Can you verily bear witness that besides Allah there are other aliha (gods)?” Say “I bear no (such) witness!” Say: “But in truth He (Allah) is the only one Ilah (God). And truly I am innocent of what you join in worship with Him.” [Surah Al-An’aam. Aayah 19]

Allaah [The Most High] said:

Say (O Muhammad) to these Mushrikun and Kafirun): “O Al-Kafirun (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, in His Angels, in His Books, in His Messengers, in the Day of Resurrection, and in Al-Qadar, etc.)! I worship not that which you worship, Nor will you worship that which I worship. And I shall not worship that which you are worshipping. Nor will you worship that which I worship. To you be your religion, and to me my religion (Islamic Monotheism)”. [Surah Al-Kaafiroon]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

Verily, your Wali (Protector or Helper) is Allah, His Messenger, and the believers, – those who perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat, and they bow down (submit themselves with obedience to Allah in prayer). And whosoever takes Allah, His Messenger, and those who have believed, as Protectors, then the party of Allah will be the victorious.[Surah Al-Maa’idah 55-56]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists, etc.) as friends, showing affection towards them, while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the truth (i.e. Islamic Monotheism, this Qur’an, and Muhammad ), and have driven out the Messenger (Muhammad ) and yourselves (from your homeland) because you believe in Allah your Lord! If you have come forth to strive in My Cause and to seek My Good Pleasure, (then take not these disbelievers and polytheists, etc., as your friends). You show friendship to them in secret, while I am All-Aware of what you conceal and what you reveal. And whosoever of you (Muslims) does that, then indeed he has gone (far) astray, (away) from the Straight Path. [Surah Al-Mumtahina. Aayah 1]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

You see many of them taking the disbelievers as their Auliya’ (protectors and helpers). Evil indeed is that which their ownselves have sent forward before them, for that (reason) Allah’s Wrath fell upon them and in torment they will abide. And had they believed in Allah, and in the Prophet (Muhammad ) and in what has been revealed to him, never would they have taken them (the disbelievers) as Auliya’ (protectors and helpers), but many of them are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). [Surah Al-Maa’idah. 80-81]

Abu Umamah [may Allaah be pleased with him] said: Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said: ”Whoever loves for the sake of Allah, hates for the sake of Allah, gives for the sake of Allah, and withholds for the sake of Allah has perfected the faith”. [Saheeh Sunan Abee Daawud 4681]

The People In Relation to This Subject Matter Are Three Categories

The first category are those given specific love and allegiance, such as the Prophets, the righteous, the matryes etc. The second category of people are those who are not given any allegiance, such as the idolator, the hypocrite, the heretic , the apostate and other than them. The third category are those given allegiance from one agle and not from another angle, such as the open sinners – those whose sins have not removed them from the fold of Islam. They are shown loyalty due to their islam and disavowal due to their sins, but this disavowal is not similar to the one directed at a disbeliever in Allaah and his final Messenger; rather the love they receive necessitates that they are advised, commanded to do good and forbidden from evil. And the disavowal shown to them necessitates that they may be boycotted and the righteous people do not attend their funerals.

Alliance with the disbelievers is of two types: The alliance that will remove a person from the fold of islam- becomes a disbeliever after being a Muslim, and this is called At-Tawallee. Allaah [The Exalted] said:

O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya’ (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliya’ to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliya’, then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers and unjust). [Surah Al-Maa’idah. Aayah 51]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

You (O Muhammad ) will not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, making friendship with those who oppose Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad ), even though they were their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred (people). For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with Ruh (proofs, light and true guidance) from Himself. And We will admit them to Gardens (Paradise) under which rivers flow, to dwell therein (forever). Allah is pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Verily, it is the Party of Allah that will be the successful. [Surah Al-Mujaadilah. Aayah 22]

The precise principle regarding this loyalty and allegiance is when a person loves and supports the religion of the disbelievers and their creed. Whoever loves a disbeliever due to his religion or creed, or helps a disbeliever due to his religion or creed, then indeed he has fallen into this type of (forbidden) loyalty and allegiance, which would nullify his Islaam and by way of which his deeds are nullified.

The second type of loyalty is related to dealing with them in trade, visiting them and they visit you, giving gifts to one another etc This does not remove a person from the fold of Islam, rather at times it is permissible, such as being kind to a disbeliever who is not at war with the Muslim state, just as Allaah [The Exalted] said:

Allah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allah loves those who deal with equity. [Surah Al-Mumtahina. Aayah 8]

And at other times, this loyalty is forbidden, such as imitating their specific traits [i.e. either their un-Islamic customs or specific clothing, appearance, behaviour related to their religion]. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, ”Whoever imitates a people is from them”.

Sometimes this loyalty is recommended such as being kind to a disbeliever to draw his heart to Islaam and calling him to Islam, and at other times this loyalty is obligatory, such as kind treatment to non-Muslim parents. Allaah [The Exalted] said:

And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years give thanks to Me and to your parents, unto Me is the final destination. But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance and in obedience. Then to Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do. [Surah Luqmaan. 14-15]

Sometimes this loyalty is disliked, such as when a Muslim employs a non-Muslim servant even though there is a Nuslim to suffice him. These two types of loyalty are found in the statement of Allaah:

Allah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allah loves those who deal with equity. It is only as regards those who fought against you on account of religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and helped to drive you out, that Allah forbids you to befriend them. And whosoever will befriend them, then such are the Zalimun (wrong-doers those who disobey Allah). [Sural Al-Mumtahina.8-9]

This Aayah includes the two types of loyalty and also bearing in mind that those who fight us in affairs of religion and expel us from our homes – those at war with us, there is no hindrance in making peace and signing a truce with them if the Muslim ruler sees the need to do so, just as the Messenger of Allaah [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] did with the Quraish disbelievers during the treaty of Hudaibiyah. A Muslim Can Help a Disbeliever Without Intending to Aid The Disbeliever’s Religion or Creed

Prophet Musa [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] helped the disbeliever who was from his nation against a person from the people of Firawn. Allaah [The Exalted] said:

And he entered the city at a time of unawareness of its people, and he found there two men fighting, – one of his party (his religion – from the Children of Israel), and the other of his foes. The man of his (own) party asked him for help against his foe, so Musa (Moses) struck him with his fist and killed him. He said: “This is of Shaitan‘s (Satan) doing, verily, he is a plain misleading enemy.” [Surah Al-Qasas. Aayah 15] [Al-Walaa Wal Baraa. pages 1-14. The Ruling On Deviant Sects That Ascribe to Islaam and How to Deal With Them

Question to Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him]: What is the intent behind the Messenger’s ﷺ statement when he spoke about the Ummah in the hadith: “All of them (the sects) are in the fire except one” and what is that one?. Also, will all the other 72 (deviant) sects be in the fire for eternity? Benefit us.

The answer: The prophet ﷺ said, “The Jews split into 71 sects, meaning all of them are astray and their affair ruined, except one. The Christians split into 72 sects, meaning all of them are astray and their affair ruined, except one. And this Ummah will split into 73 sects- all of them in the fire, except one. This one group is Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’a [those who firmly adhere to the authentic Prophetic Sunnah and are united upon that] – the companions of the Prophet and those who follow them exactly in faith, the adherents to pure Islamic monotheism and sound faith.

As for the other 72 sects that have been threatened with the fire, among them is one who is a disbeliever (ref a), among them is one who is a sinner and among them is one about whom it is established with clear evidence that he is an innovator in religious affairs. So, the one – among them – that dies in a state of disbelief (ref b) will be in the fire for eternity, the one that dies in a state of adherence to religious innovation that is lesser than major disbelief (ref c) or sins is under the will of Allah, while still threatened with the fire. So, based on this it is known that not all of them are disbelievers, but rather among them is a disbeliever and other than him among the sinners and the innovators in religious affairs. (1)

Hafs Bin Humaid [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “I said to Abdullaah Ibnul Mubaarak [may Allaah have mercy upon him], ‘How many sects has this Ummah spilt into?’ So he said, ‘The foundation of the sects are four: The shia, the hurooriyyah (i.e. khawaarij), the qadariyyah and the murji’ah. The shia (further) split into twenty-two sects; the hurooriyyah (further) split into twenty-one sects; the qadariyyah (further) split into sixteen sects and the murji’ah (further) split into thirteen sects’”. [Al-Ibaanah of Ibn Battah 1/379-380]

The Stance of The Salafi Towards Ahlul Bidah and Tabdee

Hudhaifah Bin al Yamaan [radiyallaahu anhu] said: ‘’People used to ask the Messenger of Allaah [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] about the good times, but I used to ask him about bad times fearing lest they overtake me. I said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah! We were in a state of pre-Islamic ignorance and evil, and then Allaah brought us this good [time through Islam], is there any evil time after this good one?’ He said, ‘Yes.’ I asked, ‘Will there be a good time again after that evil?’ He said, ‘Yes, but therein will be a hidden evil.’ I asked, ‘What will be the evil hidden therein?’ He said, ‘[That time will witness the rise of] the people who will follow ways other than mine and seek guidance other than mine. You will know [their] good points as well as [their] bad points.’ I asked, ‘Will there be an evil time after this good one?’ He said, ‘Yes. [A time will come] when there will be people standing and inviting at the gates of Hell. Whosoever responds to their call they will throw them into the fire.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah! Describe them for us.’ He said, ‘They will be a people having the same complexion as ours and speaking our language.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah! What do you suggest if I happen to live in that time?’ He said, ‘You should stick to the main body of the Muslims and their leader.’ I said, ‘If they have no [such thing as the] main body and have no leader?’ He said, ‘Separate yourself from all these factions, though you may have to eat the roots of trees [in a jungle] until death comes to you and you are in this state.’’’ [Bukhari and Muslim…. The wording of the above is that of Imaam Muslim]

Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] said: This honourable Sahaabi does not stop asking the Messenger [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] questions that contain great benefits for the ummah. He [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] replied: ‘’Separate yourself from all these factions though you may have to eat the roots of trees (in a jungle) until death comes to you and you are in this state.’’ In this is evidence [that one is to abandon] all the groups that are in opposition to that which the Messenger [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] came with, and that which the Salaf of this ummah and their Imaams were upon, and that which the Jamaa’ah of the Muslims are upon.

When the Jamaa’ah [i.e. the group upon truth] of the Muslims is no longer (present) wa-laa-hawla-walaa-quwwata-illaa-billaah, then what should the Muslim do? He should isolate himself from all these sects, because they are all deviated sects and callers to the gates of hell fire. He should adhere to the Jamaa’ah of the Muslims if he finds them, and if not, then isolate yourself even if you are alone. Be firm upon the truth even if you are alone, and that is why it is said, ”The Jamaa’ah is the one upon the truth even if he is alone”. This is the Jamaa’ah, and the Jamaa’ah is not the numerous groups; rather it the one upon the truth, ‘’though you may have to eat the roots of trees (in a jungle) until death comes to you and you are in this state.’’

In this is evidence that what is given consideration are one’s FINAL ACTIONS. Indeed, the one who isolates himself from trials, stays firm upon the truth and exercises patience when facing trials until death comes to him in this state, then indeed he will be from the people of Paradise [InShaaAllaah]. And the one upon whom death comes to whilst he has changed and substituted (the truth, his religion etc) and followed the callers to misguidance, then indeed he will be from the people of hell fire [i.e. if he leaves the fold of Islaam; but if he dies upon other than major shirk or kufr, he is left under the will of Allaah, who will either punish or forgive him]. (2)

Ibn Abbaas [may Allaah be pleased with him and his father] said: “Do not sit with the people of desires [i.e. ahlul bidah], for indeed sitting with them will cause sickness to the hearts”. [Al-Ibaanah 2/438]

Shu’aib [may Allaah have mercy upon him] narrated, “I said to Ibn Seereen, ‘What is your view concerning listening to the people of desires (i.e. ahlul bidah)?’ He said, ‘We neither listen to them nor honour (them)’”. [Siyar A’laam Nubulaa: 4/611]

Imaam Sufyaan Ath-thawri [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “The one who sits with a person of innovation is not safe from one of three [calamities]: [a] Either he becomes a trial for other than himself; [b] or something of [misguidance] enters into his heart, and thus he slips by way of that and Allaah enters him into the hell fire; [3] or he says: ”By Allaah, I don’t care what they say because I am sure of myself”, but whoever feels safe about his religion [without Allaah’s guidance, protection etc] in the twinkling of an eye, it will be snatched away from him”. Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Bin Haadi [may Allaah preserve him] said: O my brothers! Should we (not establish the principle of) love and hate for the sake of Allaah (in our relationship with) ahlul bidah?! Should we (not establish the principle of) love and hate for the sake of Allaah (in our relationship with) them, and is that not the strongest handhold of Eemaan?! Everyone of you knows what the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] stated, “The strongest handhold of Eemaan is love for the sake of Allaah and hate for the sake of Allaah”. Have we established what this hadeeth necessitates in the correct manner?! By Allaah, I see that love [or allegiance] – in most cases – is given to ahlul bidah and in most cases many people show enmity to Ahlus Sunnah! This is something that occurs a lot, so you -O brothers – give excuses to those who fall into the snares of those misguided people to such an extent that no more excuses [can be given to them]; however, after clarification [has been given], then the proofs have been established against them. Rebuke Against The Modernists- Those Who Seek to Alter The Sharee’ah Terms

Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] says, “Indeed, Allaah created [Jinn and humankind] and gave them an innate disposition to recognize Tawheed, obey Him and worship Him alone; but they differed – some of them believed and others disbelieved. Allaah said: [هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمۡ فَمِنكُمۡ ڪَافِرٌ۬ وَمِنكُم مُّؤۡمِنٌ۬‌ۚ – He it is Who created you, then some of you are disbelievers and some of you are believers].

Allaah wishes Eemaan and well-being for them, but shaytaan and the callers to evil wish disbelief and evil for them.
Allaah [The Exalted] said:

Allaah wishes to make clear (what is lawful and what is unlawful) to you, and to show you the ways of those before you, and accept your repentance, and Allaah is All-Knower, All-Wise. Allaah wishes to accept your repentance, but those who follow their lusts, wish that you (believers) should deviate tremendously away from the Right Path.’ [4:26-27]

And due to this, Allaah sent the Messengers, revealed the Books and established His Proofs; so, there are those amongst humankind who accept the truth and embrace Eemaan by choice, and there are those who reject the truth and embrace disbelief by choice. Indeed, Allaah has laid down the differences between the Muminoon and the Kaafiroon in this life and the next, and He forbade that the two groups are made equal. Allaah [Glorified be He and free is He from all imperfections] has set out recompense and judgment for each of the two groups in this life and the next. He has given a distinguished name to every group; such as [Mumin – believer], [Kaafir- disbeliever], [Barrun- upright/righteous one], [Faajir – evildoer], [Mushrik- Polytheist], [Muwahhid- Monotheist], [Faasiq- sinner], [Munaafiq- hypocrite], [Mutee’un – an obedient one] and [Aasee- a disobedient one]. And He [Glorified be He and free is He from all imperfections] forbade that equality is made between these differing names and attitudes. Allaah said:[أَمۡ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱجۡتَرَحُواْ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ أَن نَّجۡعَلَهُمۡ كَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ-Or do those who earn evil deeds think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe (in the Oneness of Allaah Islaamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds]. [45:2]

And Allaah said: [ أَمۡ نَجۡعَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ كَٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَمۡ نَجۡعَلُ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ كَٱلۡفُجَّارِ – Shall We treat those who believe (in the Oneness of Allaah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, as Mufsidoon (those who associate partners in worship with Allaah and commit crimes) on earth? Or shall We treat the Muttaqoon (the pious ones), as the Fujjaar (criminals, disbelievers, wicked, etc)’ [38:28]- meaning: We have not made them equal because that does not befit Allaah’s Justice.

Should we abandon the words [Kufr, Shirk, Kuffaar and Mushrikeen] found in the Qur’aan, the Sunnah and the Books of Islaamic creed? This will be a violation of the Book and the Sunnah, and an opposition to Allaah and His Messenger. By changing the real meanings of the Sharee’ah terms, we will be from those who distort the Book of their Lord and the Sunnah of their Messenger. Then what defence can be given for [such a deed]- is it to please the Kuffaar? The disbelievers will never be pleased with us until we abandon our religion. Allaah [The Exalted] said: [وَلَن تَرۡضَىٰ عَنكَ ٱلۡيَہُودُ وَلَا ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَہُمۡ‌ۗ – Never will the Yahood nor the Nasaaraa be pleased with you [O Muhammad Peace be upon him] till you follow their religion]. [2:120]

Allaah said: [ وَدُّواْ لَوۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ كَمَا كَفَرُواْ فَتَكُونُونَ سَوَآءً۬‌ۖ – They wish that you reject Faith, as they have rejected (Faith), and thus that you all become equal (like one another)'[4:89] And if the intention of those who call for the substitution of the Sharee’ah terminologies is to show gentleness to the kuffaar and to have good dealings with them, then this cannot be [done] by changing such sharee’ah terminologies; rather it can only be [done] through what Allaah has legislated regarding their affair. This comprises of the following affairs:

1.To invite them to Islaam, which is the religion Allaah has ordained for all of humankind. Allaah said:

[ٱدۡعُ إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِٱلۡحِكۡمَةِ وَٱلۡمَوۡعِظَةِ ٱلۡحَسَنَةِ‌ۖ وَجَـٰدِلۡهُم بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحۡسَنُ‌ۚ – Invite (mankind, O Muhammad) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islaam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur’aan) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. [16:125] Therefore, we invite them (to Islaam) for their rectification and happiness in this life and the next.

2.To make peace with them if they seek that. Allaah said: [وَإِن جَنَحُواْ لِلسَّلۡمِ فَٱجۡنَحۡ لَهَا وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ إِنَّهُ ۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ – But if they incline to peace, you also incline to it, and (put your) trust in Allaah. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.” [8:61]

Likewise, to make peace with them if the Muslims are in need of making peace, and when there is an overriding benefit for the Muslims in making peace; just as the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) made peace with the kuffaar at Hudaibiyyah. And by virtue of peace, diplomacy is (established) between them and the Muslims.

3.Not to be hostile towards them without due right. Allaah said:

[وَلَا يَجۡرِمَنَّڪُمۡ شَنَـَٔانُ قَوۡمٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَلَّا تَعۡدِلُواْ‌ۚ ٱعۡدِلُواْ هُوَ أَقۡرَبُ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰ‌ۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ‌ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ – And let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allaah]. [5:8]

4.To behave well towards those of them who behave well towards the Muslims; those who neither kill nor drive Muslims out of their homes. Allaah said:

Allaah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allaah loves those who deal with equity. [60:8]

5: To have permissible beneficial dealings with them; in trade, exchange of beneficial information and utilization of the worldly sciences, and things that are of benefit in our lives.

6: To fulfil contacts made with them, and to honour the blood, wealth and rights of the Mu’aahideen (i.e. those non-Muslims who have a treaty with the Muslims) because it is binding upon them to (fulfil their covenants with the Muslims) and the Muslims are to (fulfil their covenants with them). Allaah said: [فَمَا ٱسۡتَقَـٰمُواْ لَكُمۡ فَٱسۡتَقِيمُواْ لَهُمۡ‌ۚ – So long, as they are true to you, stand you true to them]. 9:7

And the ones forbidden to be killed are the Muslim and the Mu’aahid [i.e. the non-Muslim who has a treaty with the Muslims]. And indeed the Prophet said about the killing of a Mu’aahid, “Whoever kills a Mu’aahid will not even smell the fragrance of paradise and its fragrance can be smelled from the distance of forty years away”. [Bukhaari: No: 3166]

And whoever kills a Mu’aahid by mistake, it is as if he has killed a Muslim by mistake. He must pay blood money as expiation. Allaah said: [وَإِن ڪَانَ مِن قَوۡمِۭ بَيۡنَڪُمۡ وَبَيۡنَهُم مِّيثَـٰقٌ۬ فَدِيَةٌ۬ مُّسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ وَتَحۡرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ۬ مُّؤۡمِنَةٍ۬‌ۖ – And if he belonged to a people with whom you have a treaty of mutual alliance, compensation (blood money – Diya) must be paid to his family, and a believing slave must be freed]. [4:92]

And finally, I advise these ones [those who called for a change of the Sharee’ah terminologies] to repent to Allaah. They should not enter into an affair which they have neither mastered nor is it [something] they have specialized in, because that would be tantamount to speaking about Allaah without knowledge. Indeed, Allaah stated: [وَلَا تَقۡفُ مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمٌ‌ۚ – ‘And follow not (O man i.e., say not, or do not or witness not) that of which you have no knowledge].[17:36]

Allaah said:

‘Say (O Muhammad): (But) the things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are Al-Fawaahish (great evil sins, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse) whether committed openly or secretly, sins (of all kinds), unrighteous oppression, joining partners (in worship) with Allaah for which He has given no authority, and saying things about Allaah of which you have no knowledge]. [7:33]

Allaah placed speaking about Him without knowledge in a level above shirk due to its seriousness. And if it the case that these ones are aware of the subject matter regarding specialist knowledge and that a person cannot enter into that which is not his domain, just as one does not enter into the affair of medicine because it is not his domain, then why do they enter into the affairs of the sharee’ah, rather they enter into the most serious affairs of the sharee’ah, and that is the subject matter of Aqeedah, even though it is something they are not specialised in. I do not desire anything from this [speech] except to give advice and clarification”. Therefore, it is obligatory to pay attention to this affair and not to mix the Salafi methodology with the other methodologies that are in opposition to it, and then say: ”all these methodologies [including the salafi methodology] are not from Islaam.” This is recklessness in speech, an oppressive judgement and deception against the people. [An Excerpt from ‘Al-Bayaan Li-Akhtaa’i Ba’dil Kuttaab. 2/177-180. Slightly paraphrased]

[Footnotes A and b]: NB: Takfeer – declaring that a Muslim left the fold of Islaam is a judgement that can only be given by the upright scholars and none else: https://www.manhaj.com/manhaj/articles/obkwf-takfir-and-the-excuse-of-ignorance-shaykh-saalih-al-fawzaan.cfm

[Footnote c]: NB: All religious innovations are evil, but there are those that will exit a person from the fold of Islaam (Bida’atul Mukaffirah) and those that do not exit a person from the fold of Islaam (Bida’atul Mufassiqah). Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah preserve him] was asked whether there is a difference between Bidah Al-Mukaffirah and Bidah Al-Mufassiqah; so he replied that there is Bidah Mukaffirah, such as rejecting the Ruyah (i.e. denying that the believers will see Allaah in the afterlife); rejecting Allaah’s Uluww [i.e. denying that Allaah is above his creation –Allaah ascended over the Throne in a way that benefits his majesty)]; invoking other than Allaah; offering slaughtered sacrifice (i.e. animals) to other than Allaah etc. These are affairs of Bidah Al-Mukaffirah (the bidah that is tantamount to disbelief). But we do not make Takfeer of the people who commit this type of Bidah until we establish the proofs against them. That is because some of them (i.e. the people who fall into these affairs) carry doubts and are far away from the era of Prophethood and its light (i.e. guidance). So they fall into the likes these innovations. Rejecting the Ruyah is disbelief; rejecting Allaah’s Uluww is disbelief; the saying that the Qur’aan is created is disbelief-major disbelief. But this person, -[who testifies that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allaah, and he prays, observes fasting, wants paradise and believes in that] -received the doubts of the people of falsehood, so he falls into the likes of these affairs (i.e. these innovations that are tantamount to disbelief). So we say to him: You have fallen into disbelief and the evidence is this and this, and we clarify for him. So if Allaah grants him Tawfeeq and he returns to the truth, then all praise is due to Allaah. But if not, we declare him a disbeliever after establishing the proofs against him. As for Bidah Al-Mufassiqah it is other than this (i.e. it is not at the level of that which is tantamount to disbelief)…[A paraphrased excerpt. see http://www.rabee.net/ar/questions.php?cat=26&id=484 ]

Love & Hate for the Sake of Allaah by Shaikh Abu Hakeem [may Allaah preserve him]:

Love & Hate for the Sake of Allaah by Abu Hakeem

After acquainting oneself with what has preceded, the sensible person clearly sees that there is nothing of extremism or negligence with regards to our stance in the subject matter of Walaa Wal Baraa [loving and hating for the sake of Allaah]. As for those hizbiyyoon, the ones who wrote the text at Markaz Tawheed, then indeed what they do in public clearly manifest their corrupt walaa wal baraa when dealing with the deviated sects. Find out in this link: Markaz Tawheed join some of the deviated groups to rain funds for the Soofees: https://salafidawahmanchester.com/2022/08/28/part-1-the-affair-of-markaz-tawheed-stoke-on-trent-greenlane-and-ikhwaaniyyah-in-manhaj/

Observation 3 a: Their statement, “Shaykh Albani talks about when Muslims are under attack from secularists then how one should cooperate and not refute the Islamic Jamaahs as it will strengthen the secularists – some may agree or disagree with this. But these brothers rather go to opposite end and refute other Muslims using terminology that will draw the intention of the media, government and intelligence organisations. Is this how one behaves with his Muslim brethren, resulting in Mosques upon Tawheed been investigated by the Security services because of their slander”.

Firstly, the Salafi students of knowledge do not embark upon refuting the secularists without careful deliberation, therefore, the hizbi’s (or view of the specific individual hizbiyyoon at Markaz Tawheed who wrote the text) is subjective. Secondly, the circumstances in the UK allows one to openly rebut the militant secularists when they seek to beautify ideas and vilify the religion ordained by the Creator. The upright Salafi teachers have stood firm to rebut the ideas of the secularists without engaging in any action that would be considered a crime in the UK. Observation 3 b: Their statement, “But these brothers rather go to opposite end and refute other Muslims using terminology that will draw the intention (attention) of the media, government and intelligence organisations. Is this how one behaves with his Muslim brethren, resulting in Mosques upon Tawheed been investigated by the Security services because of their slander”.

Firstly, which terminology used by Salafiyyoon drew attention of the media, government and intelligence organisations? This is ambiguous speech by way of which either the hizbiyyoon seek to hide reality or leave people guessing, or they fear that by detailing such as affair they will be taken to task and the proofs established against them. Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “The basis of Banee Aadam’s misguidance is as a result of ‘General Terms’ and ‘Ambiguous Meanings’ [i.e. terms and meanings that can either be utilised for truth or falsehood when not explained in detail and distinguished], especially if they come in contact with a confused mind, then how about when desires and misguided enthusiasm is added to that? Therefore, ask the One Who keeps the hearts steadfast [i.e. Allaah] to keep your heart firm upon His Religion and not allow you to fall into this darkness”. (3)

The Imaam also said, “It is obligated on you to give detail and make a distinction, because unrestricted and general (statements) without clarification has indeed corrupted this existence (i.e. the world), and misguided the intellects and views (of the people) in every era”. Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] commented on this statement as follows, “There has to be detail explanation. The one who is not proficient in giving detail should keep quiet, because benefit is not acquired from his speech. And every time error occurs, its cause is due to an absence of detail explanation regarding truth and falsehood. There has to be detail explanation and distinction and not to mix up (affairs). Indeed, it may be that there is something of truth and falsehood in an opponent’s statement, so all of it is neither deemed to be false nor truth; rather there has to be a distinction between its truth and falsehood. All of it is neither rejected nor accepted; rather a distinction is made regarding the truth and what is correct and the falsehood and error in it. And if you are not proficient in giving detail, then you should not enter into this field”. (4)

Observation 3 c: What does one have to fear about the media, the government and intelligence organisations if he is neither engaged in any activity – in private or public – nor associated with any other individuals or organisations – in private or public – that are engaged in activities considered a criminal offence?!

Observation 3 d: Their statement, “Is this how one behaves with his Muslim brethren, resulting in Mosques upon Tawheed been investigated by the Security services because of their slander”.

This above statement of theirs is referred back to observations 3b and 3c. In addition, we remind the hizbiyyoon that the burden of proof is upon the claimant and that the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “If anyone disputes knowingly about something which is false, he remains in the displeasure of Allah till he desists, and if anyone makes an untruthful accusation against a Muslim, he will be made by Allah to dwell in the corrupt fluid flowing from the inhabitants of Hell till he retracts his statement”. [Saheeh Abu Dawud. Number 3597]

Observation 4: Their statement, “Shaykh Wasiullah Abbas warned Abu Khadeejah about this behaviour and he said this is very dangerous and he should know that this kind of behaviour then Allah will finish it with you. And now we see that this same individual has been blacklisted by the DfE for extremism and intolerance”.

Amazing speech! One does not know whether to cry or laugh when these hizbies seek to score cheap points! Can the hizbi or his allies find any extremism in the following articles based on that which is found in the Qur’aan, the authentic Sunnah and the understanding of the pious predecessors?!

Allaah Warns Against Extremism And Negligence By Abu Hakeem

Finally, our stance is very clear and that is made known in this link: Living With Non-Muslims In The West: With Fine Conduct: https://abukhadeejah.com/living-with-non-muslims-in-the-west-with-fine-conduct/

We don’t have to say anything after this, because it has become manifest that we are dealing with hizbiyyoon whose disease of hizbiyyah has reached its acute state.

We Are Dealing With Specific Individuals at [Markaz Tawheed- Stoke On Trent] With a Severe or (Chronic) Hizbiyyah Syndrome!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Umar [may Allaah be pleased with him] said, The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said: “People were (sometimes) judged by the revealing of a Divine Inspiration during the lifetime of Allah’s Messenger but now there is no longer any more (new revelation). Now we judge you by the deeds you practice publicly, so we will trust and favour the one who does good deeds in front of us, and we will not call him to account about what he is really doing in secret, for Allah will judge him for that; but we will not trust or believe the one who presents to us with an evil deed even if he claims that his intentions were good”. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari. Number 2641]

Amazing indeed are those specific individuals at Markaz Tawheed! These people are allied with the blazing hizbiyyoon of Ihyaa at-Turaath, such as Adnaan Abdul Qadir and others, yet when reprimanded for keeping the company of deviated personalities in the name of Salafiyyah, they complain that the Salafiyyoon of Masjid al-Furqan/Masjid Abi Hurairah, Shaikh Abu Khadeejah and Salafipublications are people who greatly concern themselves with finding the faults of others, whilst the Ummah is in crises! In addition to this, every year their allies at Greenlane co-operate with various well known opponents of the Salafi Methodology, and amongst their visitors during the past few years includes speakers from the deviated Maghrib Institute of Yasir Qadhi and others, yet they expect that not a single word is uttered against their repugnant illegal partisanship! Indeed, this is either extreme self-denial or a severe state of Hizbiyyah Syndrome.

We neither spy on them nor investigate their secrets, rather they are the ones who openly co-operate with the people of bidah at Ihyaa at-Turaath and other places, so there is a huge difference between when a person is reprimanded for a deed he does openly as opposed to what he hides or has given no indication regarding it. This complaint of theirs “stop seeking after the mistakes of others” is nothing else but a smokescreen by way of which they desire to prevent Salafiyyoon from warning against their open repugnant Hizbiyyah, so that they can continue duping the common people, rather even the unsuspecting seeker of knowledge will be affected.

We did not approach and question them about their stances and beliefs, rather we judge them by the deeds they do openly. Therefore, what is incumbent upon them is to either be truthful to the path of the Salaf, distance from the people of Bidah and hizbiyyah, and warn against them, otherwise never will the Salafiyyoon stop warning and refuting them based on what is openly witnessed regarding their transgressions against the sound Salafi methodology, whilst they attribute themselves to it. We’ll continue to judge them by their companionship whether they like it or not! Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu-anhu) said, the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said, “A person is upon the religion of his friend, so let each one of you look at whom he befriends”. [As-Saheehah: 97] Ibn Mas’ ood (radiyallaahu-anhu) said: Indeed a person walks alongside and accompanies the one whom he loves and who is like him. (Al Ibaanah 2/476] Al A’maah (rahimahullaah) said: They (the Salaf) did not used to ask anything more about a person after having asked about three affairs: Who he walks with, who he enters upon (i.e. visits) and who he associates with amongst the people”. [Al Ibaanah 2/478] Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood (radiyallaahu anhu) said: Make consideration of the (regions of the) earth by the names given to them and make consideration of a person by his companion”. [Ibaanah 2/497] Mu’aadh Bin Mu’aadh said to Yahyah bin Sa’eed, “aa Abaa Sa’eed! A person may hide his viewpoint from us, but he will not be able to hide this in his son or friend or in one whom he sits with”. [ Ibaanah 2/436] [Translated by Spubs]

Despite this clarity demanded from them, we’ve heard in the past when some of them claimed to the common people and convinced them that the issues between Greenlane and Salafipublications are personal, but then the falsity of this claim was exposed. See here: https://abukhadeejah.com/are-the-issues-between-green-lane-mosque-glm-and-salafi-publications-personal/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MVzd9RpWl4

We’ve met individuals who are confused about their affair – neither comprehend the reality of their deceptions as it truly is, nor certain whether they are upon hizbiyyah, despite the clear evidences presented that are as clear as the mid day sun. They’ve afflicted these people with doubts that has led them to suffer from an absence of full comprehension or they comprehend the situation in a manner contrary to its true reality, whilst still unaware that they do not comprehend, even after being presented with evidence to clearly demonstrate that they are mistaken. However, the most amazing is when these people whom they have confused so much to the extent that whatever tangible evidence is shown to them, they always hope that there must be something contrary to what is presented that might have the same possibility of being the truth. And there are those who openly reject the truth due to a desire to cling to falsehood. Allaahul Musta’aan! This is exactly what Al-Allaamah Zayd Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allaah preserve him] stated about the heads of bidah and their followers. He said, “You should know that the people of desires and misguidance are (categorized into) those who are followed and those who follow. Indeed, those who are followed are the ones who set up the various principles of Bidah and call to their innovation and misguidance, and they will carry their burden of sins and the burden of the sins of those whom they misguided without knowledge, as it is clearly stated in the Qur’aan and the Sunnah. As for the followers of a leader from amongst the people of desires, then in most cases they are of two categories: those who possess knowledge, but they harbour evil intentions, so they yield to Satan, desires and the urge of the evil soul. They follow the people of misguidance and oppose the callers to guidance (in that which) Allaah sent His Messenger Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him]. The Second Category are those whose share of knowledge is little, so the people of desires take advantage of them and they become part of their group. They convince them that what they call them to is the manifest truth and that what their opponents are upon is falsehood. And they convey to them a huge (number) of affairs that resemble the truth but are falsehood in reality, in order to deceive them and submerge them into misguidance. As for those who are followed-those who set up principles of bidah and call the people to their bidah and misguidance-then indeed they are marked with the bidah they innovated and call the people to, and for them there is no honour”. (1)

This is what has afflicted Greenlane and Markaz Tawheed (Stoke On Trent), because their allies amongst the heads of bidah at Ihyaa at-Turaath, Maghrib Institute and other places have affected them so much that they have divided into the two categories of people – those who know the truth, but their evil desires do not allow them to abandon their repugnant hizbiyyah and those whose share of knowledge is very little. Therefore, the Salafiyyoon of Masjid Al-Furqan and Masjid Abi Hurairah are warned against complacency and fear of blame. The people of Shirk, Bidah and Hizbiyyah all employ the same tactic at different levels – the extreme Soofees, Ikhwaanees, the hizbiyyoon of Greenlane and their allies, and others will always seek to blame you when reprimanded for difiling the pure Salafi Methodology with their repugnant hizbiyyah. Imaam Ibnul Qayyim, whilst discussing the four categories of people one might come across in life, stated: “The Forth Group are those whose company is absolute destruction and intermingling with them is similar to eating poison. How common is this similitude within the people! May Allaah not make them numerous, and they are Ahlul Bidah Wad Dalaalah [The people of innovation and misguidance]. They are those who hinder from the path of the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] and call to that which is in opposition to it. They are those who hinder from the path of Allaah and seek to make it cooked; so they present Bidah as Sunnah and Sunnah as Bidah, and they present virtue as evil and evil as virtue. And when you established Tawheed amongst them, they (i.e. the people of Shirk) say, ‘You have degraded the Awliyaa (friends of Allaah) and the righteous people’. And when you establish ittibaa [correct adherence to the path of the messenger with evidence] they (i.e. the staunch blind followers) say, ‘You have invalidated (the affair) of the followed Imaams’. And when you command that which Allaah and His Messenger command and forbid that which Allaah and His Messenger forbid, they (i.e. those who want to remain upon falsehood) say, ‘You are from those who put people to trial'”. (2)

In this statement is a likeness of that specific or those specific blazing hizbiyyoon at Markaz Tawheed, because when we call to that aspect of the pure Sunnah that necessitates abandoning the people of hizbiyyah within the ranks of Greenlane and the people of bidah within the ranks of Ihyaa at-Turaath, they say, “You people cause fitna”, then they ignore the clear statements of the scholars regarding this affair.

Imaam Albaani [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “It is not hidden from every Muslim who is acquainted with the Book, the Sunnah and that which our pious predecessors were upon that the Tahazzub (Illegal partisanship) and gathering amongst the groups that carry different views or different methods (of Dawah) has nothing to do with Islaam; rather in many Aayaat of the Qur’aan our Lord (The Mighty and Majestic) has prohibited us from that. Allaah (The Most High) said:

وَلَا تَكُونُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِڪِينَ
مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ فَرَّقُواْ دِينَهُمۡ وَڪَانُواْ شِيَعً۬ا‌ۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۭ بِمَا لَدَيۡہِمۡ فَرِحُونَ

And be not of Al-Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc.). Of those who split up their religion (i.e. who left the true Islamic Monotheism), and became sects, [i.e. they invented new things in the religion (Bid’ah), and followed their vain desires], each sect rejoicing in that which is with it. (3)

Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “There is nothing in the Book or the Sunnah that allows different groups and parties; rather that has been censured in the Book and the Sunnah. Allaah (The Most High) said: [فَتَقَطَّعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَهُم بَيۡنَہُمۡ زُبُرً۬ا‌ۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۭ بِمَا لَدَيۡہِمۡ فَرِحُونَ – ”But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief.”]

And there is no doubt that these parties oppose that which Allaah has commanded. Allaah (The Most High) said: [إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦۤ أُمَّتُكُمۡ أُمَّةً۬ وَٲحِدَةً۬ وَأَنَا۟ رَبُّڪُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُونِ – ‘Truly! This, your Ummah [Sharia or religion (Islamic Monotheism)] is one religion, and I am your Lord, therefore worship Me (Alone).” (4)

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “It is obligated on the scholars to clarify the reality. They should debate every group and give advice to all, so that they can traverse upon the path Allaah has ordained for His slaves, and the path which His Messenger Muhammad (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) called to. And whoever oversteps this path or remains upon obstinacy, then it is obligatory to expose him”. (5)

So, let Masjid Al-Furqan/Masjid Abi Hurairah not fear the blame of the blamers. Hizbiyyah must be refuted openly in the presence of anyone who manifest it, be it Markaz Tawheed, Greenlane or others. So, ask Allaah for Tawfeeq, strive to be truthful and speak the truth as Ibn Aqeel [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “If the truthful ones were to keep silent and the falsifiers speak, then the creation would have relinquished what they have witnessed [of truth] and reject what they have not witnessed. So when the devout ones desire to revive the Sunnah, the people would reject it and think that it is bidah”. (6)

And Allaah knows best

[5] You’ve Dropped Many Scholars [Saalim At-Taweel]! [Response to Hizbiyyoon, Deceivers, and Concealers at Markaz at-Tawheed (Stoke On Trent)]

Saalim at-Taweel is a companion of Ibraaheem Ar-Ruhayli – the one who attempted to open the floodgates of Tamyee by way of erroneous judgements on texts related to sound Manhaj positions to be taken against ahlul bidah.

Firstly, let us remind the specific individual or individuals – the blazing hizbiyyoon at Markaz Tawheed- about companionship!

Secondly, one of the subject matters of this robust and infallible Salafi Manhaj which Ibraaheem Ar-Ruhayli sought to weaken was the subject matter of Hajr [the legislated boycotting], but he was stopped in his Tamyee footsteps by Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi, Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiri and Shaikh Abdullah Al-Bukhaari [may Allaah preserve them]. It was obligatory on Dr (Ibraaheem)- whilst he was giving advice about boycotting and its precise principles– to clarify the true picture of boycotting held by the Salaf because a deficient clarification in this affair is a great shortcoming that will lead to an incorrect understanding of this great fundamental. That is because it is understood from Dr Ibraaheem’s speech that boycotting has a singular image, but the truth is that it of different types, and from them: To refrain from giving salaam (i.e. refrain from giving salaam to the figureheads of bidah, those who openly manifest their wicked acts etc); refrain from sitting with them; refrain from honouring them and the important people (i.e. such as the scholars and other pious leaders) are to refrain from praying their Janaazah.

Read: [Part 1 (A-D): Observations on Dr Ibraaheem Ar-Ruhayli’s Deficient and Defective Advice To Ahlus Sunnah Regarding Boycotting-

Dr Shaikh Abdullah Al-Bukhaari Establishes The True Understanding of The Salaf]

[Part 1 (A-D): Observations on Dr Ibraaheem Ar-Ruhayli’s Deficient and Defective Advice To Ahlus Sunnah Regarding Boycotting- Dr Shaikh Abdullah Al-Bukhaari Establishes The True Understanding of The Salaf]

Ibraaheem ar-Ruhayhi – the companion of Saalim at-Taweel – has not recanted his errors and this is the same Saalim at-Taweel defended by Shaikh Falaah Ismaa’eel [may Allaah have mercy upon him]. Indeed, the company of Ibraaheem Ar-Ruhayli and Saalim at-Taweel is an extremely toxic one, therefore Shaikh Falaah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] found himself within circumstances which the Salafiyyoon could not compromise due to the confusion and ambiguity it would have caused.

Thirdly, perhaps the reason Saalim receives sympathy from the specific individual or individuals – blazing hizbiyyoon at Markaz Tawheed – is because he visited their allies (the blazing and obstinate hizbiyyoon of Greenlane).

This is the companionship of Markaz at-Tawheed (Stoke on Trent).

Also Saalim At-Taweel spread lies about Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiri and Shaikh Abu Khadeejah [may Allaah protect them from every evil].

A statement of Saalim At-Taweel’s- disseminated in the (website) Kullu Salafiyyeen has reached me that the Shaikh Al-Allaamah Ubaid (may Allaah preserve him) delegated me (i.e. put me in charge) in the affairs of divorce and khula and what is similar to that. This-by Allaah-is a lie and fabrication against the Shaikh (may Allaah preserve him) and we say: ‘’Glory be to You (O Allah) this is a great lie.’’ Rather we were advised and encouraged to refer back to the people of knowledge in these affairs (of divorce and khula) and other than them. This is what has occurred from us and it is what we have done (i.e. we refer these affairs and other than them to the scholars) and all praise is due to Allaah in the beginning to the end of (all affairs) and the (blessed) end is for the Muttaqoon, and there is no enmity except against the oppressors.

Written by: Abu Khadeejah
Al-Maktabah As-Salafiyyah Birmingham (Britain)

The above Arabic clarification was forwarded to us via WhatsApp by Ustaadh Abu Tasneem -Mus’haf Al-Banghaali (May Allaah preserve him)

Saalim At-Taweel has still not recanted this lie!

Finally, once again we say to the specific individual or individuals – blazing hizbiyyoon at Markaz Tawheed who claim that we are people who abandon others without justification- that the Prophet [peace annd blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The best of the people are those living in my generation, then those who will follow the latter and then those who come after them. Then there will come after them people who will be treacherous and will not be trustworthy, they will bear witness without being asked to do so, and they will vow, but will never fulfil their vows, and fatness will appear among them”.

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allaah protect him from every evil] said, “They give false testimony, act treacherously and deceitfully. They behave in a very sinful manner and follow evil desires, except those whom Allaah safeguards amongst the Taa’ifatul Mansoorah [i.e. the aided group of Muslims upon the straight path] – those whom Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] praised. Therefore, it is obligated on us to acquire knowledge for the sake of Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic] and act upon it. Ignorance is a deadly disease and knowledge is a weapon that will destroy you if you do not act upon it, and Allaah’s refuge is sought. [Marhaban Yaa Taalibal Ilm pages 268-270]

Imaam An-Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated regarding the statement, “They will bear witness without being asked to do so”, this can mean that they bear witness before being asked, or they bear witness based on falsehood, or they give witness without being from those who are worthy of it. [For further details see Sharh Saheeh Muslim 12/17]

However, there is another Hadeeth in which the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] stated, “Should I not inform you about the best of witnesses, they are those who bear witness before being asked”. The scholars say that what is intended by this hadeeth is for example: someone has a witness to give on behalf of another person based on truth, but the person does not know about it, so he [i.e. the one who should give the witness] informs the person about it; or for example, a person has already passed away and another person knows what the deceased person has left behind as inheritance, so he bears witness to that and makes it known. [For further details see Fat-hul Baari 5/260]

And regarding the statement, “And fatness will appear among them”, meaning, these people give importance to the means of fattening themselves – food, drink and over-abundance. So, their only concern is their bodies and fattening themselves. As for being fat without choice, then one cannot be blamed for that, just as a person cannot be blamed for being tall, short, black or white…[For further details, see Majmoo Al-Fataawaa 10/1056 -By Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy upon him)]

Therefore, we remind those specific blazing hizbiyyoon at Markaz at-Tawheed that their deception and false witness has been unveiled once again.

So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. [Surah An-Nisaa. Ayah 135]

Indeed, even though some of us have been present since 1995, however neither were we amongst those who accompanied Al-Halabi and Al-Hilaali nor did we speak to them in person; neither did we sit with them at close proximity nor examine their affair at close proximity during those years they’ve visited the UK, even though – by the Tawfeeq of Allaah – we are acquainted with their errors and the sound unambiguous observations and refutations of the scholars and students against them. Our elder teachers at Salafipublications are the ones who know their affair – observers at close proximity and in person with their eyes, ears and hearts for many years. They accompanied both Al-Halabi and Al-Hilaali at home and abroad, therefore, we’ll suffice with their report, as the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said: “The one informed is not the same as the one who witnessed (with his own eyes). Indeed, Allaah [The Exalted] told Musa [peace be upon him] about what his people had done with the calf (i.e. worshipped the calf) and he did not throw the tablets, (but) when he saw what they had done, he threw the tablets (out of anger) and they broke”. [Saheeh Al-Jaami 5374]

“The one informed is not the same as the one who witnessed (with his own eyes)”– Meaning: Witnessing, as it is the attainment of definitive knowledge. Allaah created for His servants conscious ears and eyes that can see, and He did not make the news (in general) as powerful as witnessing with the eyes (in general). And just as he placed hearing and sight (around the) head (area), He also placed that in the heart (i.e. sound perception), so the knowledge of that which a person sees with his sight becomes robust, and what he perceives with the sight of his heart is stronger for him. Al-Kalaabaadhee [Abu Nasr, Ahmad Bin Muhammad Ibn Al-Husayn Ibnul Hasan Bin Ali Bin Rustom (may Allaah have mercy upon him)] said, “News is two types: the one that is (absolute) truth and can never carry mistakes- the news from Allaah and His Messenger. And this (hadeeth) may also refer to the news other than this first one.

If news is referring to the first type, then its meaning is that eye witness is not like truthful news in strength- meaning news is stronger, more certain and far removed from doubts if it is truthful news, (because) the one who witnesses with his eyes can be mistaken – a person may see something in manner that is other than its true reality, such as what occurred in the story of Musa [peace be upon him] and the magicians. And if the hadeeth is applied to the second type of news, then its meaning is: the eye witness (in reality- without any deception etc) is not like news; rather it is stronger and more certain because the one who is informed is not reassured in his heart and his doubts do not seize regarding news from someone who can forget and make mistakes. The point is that if the report is true, it is stronger than the eye witness, or otherwise; however, the intent of what is mentioned with regards news refers to the second type [i.e. the true eye witness that is based on other than revelation and it contains no (deception, ambiguity) is stronger than true news (that is not based on revelation), even though both are accepted]. [An Excerpt from Faydul Qadeer. 5/356-357. paraphrased]

Therefore, here we present to you the observations of the elder teachers:

The False Principles of Ali Hasan al-Halabi- By Shaikh Abu Iyaad [may Allaah preserve him]:
https://www.manhaj.com/manhaj/categories/kp-the-false-principles-of-ali-hasan-al-halabi.cfm

Finally, we say to the specific individual or individuals – blazing hizbiyyoon at Markaz Tawheed who claim that we are people who abandon others without justification- that the Prophet [peace annd blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The best of the people are those living in my generation, then those who will follow the latter and then those who come after them.

[12] Usaamah Ibn Ataayaa – [The Pottymouth Vile Hater]: Conclusion of Section 1 of This Series With a Reflection On Al-Allaamah Ubaid’s Precise Observation, Tribute to Upright UK Salafi Senior Students and The Maraakiz

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Few years ago when Abu Eesa Niamatullah unleashed his vile tirade against the Salafiyyoon, Shaikh Abu Iyaad exposed his reality as follows: “There is a difference between Yasir Qadhi and Abu Eesa Niamatullah. Yasir Qadhi is smarter and shrewder in knowing how to play politics in the public da’wah scene in order to maintain (apparent) consistency. Abu Eesa Niamtullah is dumb and has with him a certain bruteness that strips him of any semblance of aql (intellect). You only need to prod him once and the “pathological hatred” he harbours (whilst accusing others of it) pours out like water out of a jug, and that which he accuses the Salafis of (of unjust rulings on people), pours out freely, without hindrance from his heart and soul with the ferociousness of a lion, yet the thought and intelligence of a domestic turkey. That’s what has happened in short of a few days, and these are realities that Abu Eesa Niamatullah has revealed about himself in short of three pages worth of Facebook rants. This series of articles is an elaboration upon this reality, and whilst some may protest these descriptions we are using here, we are only describing what a man reveals of himself through his speech and action. Further, what are these words of ours compared to what you are going to read from Abu Eesa Niamatullah in the articles to follow? Yes, that’s a question you should start asking now, so that you anticipate the shock before it comes. Go ahead, read Part 3 and try telling us we haven’t spoken the truth. [End of quote] Read full article: http://www.salafis.com/articles/sbnafnr-evaluating-the-claim-of-salafiyyah-by-abu-eesa-niamatullah.cfm

Indeed, at present we witness the same behaviour from the hater Usaamah Ibn Ataayaa, so here – before quoting the precise description given by Al-Allaamah Ubaid regarding Usaamah’s state of affairs, we borrow some of Shaikh Abu Iyaad’s words, whilst attempting to apply some of it to Usaamah’s affair. We say, “Usaamah is dumb and has with him a certain bruteness that strips him of any semblance of aql (intellect). You only need to prod him once and the “pathological hatred” he harbours (whilst accusing others of it) pours out like water out of a jug, and that which he accuses the Salafis of Haddaadiyyah, Khaarijiyyah, Hizbiyyah, pours out freely, without hindrance from his heart and soul with the ferociousness of a lion, yet the thought and intelligence of a domestic turkey. That’s what has happened in short of a few days, and these are realities that Usaamah has revealed about himself recently. We have already responded to his madness in the following links”.

[11b] Usaamah Ibn Ataayaa – [The Pottymouth Vile Hater], Reality of That Which His False Tabdee Necessitates and Calling Him – Between Us and Him – to Invoke The Curse of Allaah Upon The Liars!

Finally, contemplate on that which vile – slanderous – Usaamah has stated about us without an iota of proof – (neither cited a single error of ours that would warrant Tabdee nor a single sound principle to back up his satanic claim that we are Haddaadiyyah, Khawaarij, Hizbiyyoon, and that we pretend to be Salafiyyoon in Aqeedah); then thereafter contemplate on precise statement of Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiri [may Allaah protect him] when he stated about Usaamah’s state of affairs: [وصل الأمر إلى حد الجنون والطيش وخفة العقل – the affair has reached the point of madness, recklessness and lightmindedness]!

May Allaah continue to bestow this Ummah scholars the likes of Al-Allaamah Ubaid, for indeed this description regarding Usaamah’s state of affairs is very precise. His affair has reached this state, because – in this particular affair- he has lost the ability to distinguish between good and evil, beauty and repugnance; neither measured his words based on the Sharee’ah nor gave thought to its extremely evil consequences, but rather he is one drowned in blameworthy hatred and vain desires in this subject matter. Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “The soul has its own whims and desires, which it delights in attaining and enjoy. Sound reasoning and knowledge (guided by the revelation) regarding the harmfulness of these actions in this worldly and the Hereafter prevents those (desires and whims from approaching such harm). So if (sound) intellect (guided by divine revelation) is removed from the guard, the soul is let loose to pursue its whims”. [Al-Istiqaamah. slightly paraphrased 2/144]

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: “There are two (types) of strengths within the soul: The strength of abstinence and the strength of courage. The reality of patience is that one makes the strength of courageousness a means of action in what benefits him and the strength of abstinence a means of action in refraining from what is harmful to him. Among the people, there is one whose patience in carrying out what benefits him and being firm upon it is stronger than his patience in refraining from what is harmful to him; so he exercises patience in facing difficulty whilst carrying out acts of obedience, but he does not exercise patience in refraining from urges towards what he is forbidden. And among them, there is one whose patience in refraining from things that are in opposition to the religion is stronger than his patience in carrying out acts of obedience, and among them there is one who does not exercise patience in both affairs. The best of people are those who fulfil both affairs. Many people patiently bear the hardship of praying Tahajjud during hot and cold nights, and the difficulty in fasting; but they do not exercise patience in refraining from looking at forbidden things. Many people exercise patience in refraining from looking at the forbidden things and inclination towards [forbidden] images, but they do not exercise patience in commanding good and forbidding evil. [An Excerpt from Uddatus Saabireen. page 37. Slightly paraphrased]

Imaam Ibnul Jawzi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: know that (forbidden) desires urges a person towards immediate pleasures without him pondering upon its evil consequences- urges him towards short-lived pleasures, even though it is a cause of pain and harm in this life and a barrier to pleasure in the Afterlife. As for a sensible person, he keeps away from pleasures whose result will be pain and desires whose result will be regret. This is enough as praise regarding what sound intellect necessitates and a rebuke against uncontrolled desires. Know that (forbidden) desires an overcome a person in the different fields of study, exits him from the confines of sound reasoning and enters him into behaviour that is tantamount to madness [or folly]. It might enter affairs of knowledge and thus leads a person to oppose that which sound knowledge commands, and it might enter Zuhd and thus leads him to Riyaa.

A person should ponder upon the consequences of (forbidden) desires, because many people are deprived of virtue and find themselves in a state of depravity due to it. And how many types of (unhealthy) food are there that leads to illness due to an unrestrained desire [for them]! And how many mistakes violates the honour of a person, leads to an evil mention of him as well as the guilt of sinning due to unrestrained desires, yet he still does not give thought to anything else except his desires! The best description regarding him is that of one who finds himself in a tannery, for he does not really notice its smell properly until he exits it and then realises where he was.

A sensible person should imagine the dishonour that will come to him due to his desires and the harm that results from those pleasures, for indeed he will see that- in most cases- they occur as result of those desires and pleasures. A person should think about how (the consequences of forbidden desires and pleasures do affect) others, then he should ponder and get a hint of its end results, for indeed he will see the blameworthiness of that which is known regarding them if he were to be guilty of it. A person should reflect upon those pleasures, because (sound) intellect [guided by sound divine revelation] will make him realise that they are nothing more than [lowly] desires and a state of blindness. A person should contemplate on the honour a person receives due to been given the upper hand and the humiliation found in subjugation, for indeed there is none who overcomes his [lowly] desires except that his honour is strengthened; and there is none who is subjugated by his desires except that he will find humiliation and subjugation in his soul. A person should contemplate on the benefits of opposing one’s [lowly] desires, such as the commendation attached to it in this worldly life, safety of the soul and safeguard of one’s honour, as well as reward in the afterlife. [Source: An Excerpt from Dhammul Hawaa’ pages 36-38. Slightly paraphrased]

All praise be to Allaah, indeed, neither our scholars and their upright students nor the Maraakiz have engaged in the likes of that which Usaamah has engaged in with his vile tongue – the very affair that has manifested his extremely idiotic behaviour. Imaam Abu Haatim – Ibn Hibbaan [may Allaah have mercy upon him- stated: “One the greatest signs of idiocy in an idiot is his tongue, because indeed his heart is on the tip of his tongue, whatever comes to his heart his tongue utters”. [Rawdatul Uqalaa. page 121]

The Poet said:

The fool addresses me with all ugliness …… (but) I hate to be a responder to him ……(so) he increases in foolishness, I increase in forbearance…… just as Oud increases in good smell when burnt.

We ask Allaah to protect us from Usaamah's madness, guide him and grant us all the best of manners. Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood [may Allah be pleased with him] reported that the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said: [اللهم كما حَسَّنْت خَلْقِي فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِي – O Allah! Just as You made my external form beautiful, make my character beautiful as well]. https://salafidawahmanchester.com/2021/07/31/o-allah-just-as-you-made-my-external-form-beautiful-make-my-character-beautiful-as-well/

And Allaah knows best. This is the end of part 1 of this series and Part 2 will begin soon InShaaAllaah.

[لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ – There is neither might nor power (to alternate from one state to another nor move from one thing to another) except by Allaah’s Will]. [Bukhaari 6384 & Muslim 2704]

May Allaah protect us, protect the elder and senior students at Al-Maktabatus Salafiyyah, protect all the students in the various Maraakiz and make us and them good examples for others in the Muslim communities Aameen.

[1] O Supporters of Khaalid Uthmaan Al-Misri! Is Your Mentor Itching to Open a Big Mouth to Join Khaalid Abdur Rahmaan Al-Misri In His Support of Musaafiqah?!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Khaalid Uthmaan claims that Shaikh Abu Khadeejah’s warning against Shaikh Sulaymaan’s Ar-Ruhayli’s gathering is tantamount to hindering people from Sabeelul laah [the path of Allaah!]”

What is Sabeelul laah [The Path of Allaah]? It is a term generally applied to every sincere deed by way of which one seeks to (attain Allaah’s Pleasure, Love, Reward and to be protected from Allaah’s Punishment) by fulfilling obligations, optional acts of worship and various types of acts of obedience to Allaah. [An-Nihaayah. By Ibnul Atheer 2/338]

Firstly, we ask the supporters of Khalid Uthmaan: Which path to good did Shaikh Abu Khadeejah and the Maraakiz hinder Shaikh Sulaymaan from – the five pillars of Islaam, the six pillars of Imaan or Ihsaan?! Both Khaalid and Shaikh Sulaymaan are free to worship Allaah, but neither should Khaalid allow himself to be drowned in self-deception nor blindness to the extent that he expects the senior UK students to refrain from warning against the gathering of the Musaafiqah and then attempts to open a big mouth to claim that doing so would be tantamount to hindering people from the path of Allaah. Indeed, Shaikh Abu Khadeejah and the Maraakiz warn against the gathering of Shaikh Sulaymaan based on the proof of that which Al-Allaamah Rabee has established. Shaikh Sulaymaan’s gathering is warned against because those who invite him are staunch supporters of Muhammad Bin Haadi – the one guilty of false Tabdee, slander against scholars and has still not recanted. Does Shaikh Sulaymaan not support Muhammad Bin Haadi and seeks to beautify his affair, even though he is guilty of this grave crime of Tabdee without proof?! These are the affairs surrounding the warning against Shaikh Sulaymaan’s gathering, so how can it be tantamount to hindering people from the path of Allaah, as Khaalid Uthmaan claims, whilst seeking to hide truth and flatter the Musaafiqah; rather Shaikh Abu Khadeejah’s stance and the stance of the Maraakiz is nothing else but a noble act of enjoining good and forbidding evil. Does Khaalid intend to join the Musaafiqah in their falsehood and argue on behalf of the oppressors?! Reminder: Shaykh Rabiʿ’s request for Shaykh Muḥammad bin Hādī to justify his tabdīʿ of Salafī students and shaykhs and to explicitly name the major scholars he accused of being “affected” and “destroyed” by the “Ṣaʿāfiqah” – one month, no answer:

This person -Muhammad Bin Haadi- whose affair is mentioned in the above two links is the one being defended and sheltered by Shaikh Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhayli, and thus he was warned against by both Al-Allaamah Rabee and the students at Salafipublications. Listen here: Clarification by Shaikh Abu Iyaad – [A warning, a Refutation, Rebuke Against a Mistake or Behaviour Does Not Automatically Necessitate Tabdee; & a Mention of Shaikh Muhammad Bin Haadi’s & Shaikh Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhaylee’s Affair- From 52mins onwards.

https://mixlr.com/albaseerah/showreel/narration-from-the-salaf-regarding-creed-and-methodology

Allaah [The Most High] said:

[إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِتَحۡكُمَ بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِمَآ أَرَٮٰكَ ٱللَّهُ‌ۚ وَلَا تَكُن لِّلۡخَآٮِٕنِينَ خَصِيمً۬ا – Surely, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad) the Book (this Qur’an) in truth that you might judge between men by that which Allah has shown you (i.e. has taught you through Divine Inspiration), so be not a pleader for the treacherous]. [Surah An-Nisaa Ayah 105]

Do not argue for the one whose treachery (or deception) is known, such as the one who either pursues what does not belong to him or one who rejects a right he must fulfil, whether he is aware of that or not. In this is proof to (establish) that it is forbidden to argue based on falsehood and pleading (on behalf) of one who makes a false claim -in religious or worldly disputes. (1)

Al-Allaamah Rabee also stated, “The one who rebuts a Mubtadi or a book in which there is Bidah, or disparages one who is deserving of disparagement, or rebukes one who deserves to be rebuked – some narrator, false witnesser and a sinner who announces his sin, he (i.e. this just refuter) is not an oppressor because he has placed the affairs in their proper and (rightful) places, and the oppressive transgressor is the one who embarks upon speaking ill of him and conspires against him”. (2)

Both Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi and Shaikh Sulaymaan deserve rebuke and that is what they have received from both Al-Allaamah Rabee and the senior UK students.

Secondly, Umm Salamah [may Allaah be pleased with her] reported that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “’Indeed, I am only a human being and you people (i.e. disputants) come to me with your disputes. And it may be that one of you can present his case more eloquently than the other and I consider him truthful, and judge in his favour. So if I ever judge and give the right of a brother to his brother, then it is a piece of hell-fire and let him not take it”. [end of hadeeth] Some of the benefits from this hadeeth that are relevant to this discussion are as follows: This hadeeth shows that speech can be seen to be true based on what is apparent, but it is truly falsehood with regards to what is hidden within it. This hadeeth shows the sinfulness of the one who argues based on falsehood until he receives what he wants publicly, whilst he is upon falsehood. (3)

Therefore, we remind Khaalid Uthmaan’s supporters to remind him to restrain his tongue -neither conceal truth nor seek to miss the main affair surrounding the warning against Shaikh Sulaymaan. Arguing in this manner is tantamount to supporting the transgressors amongst the Musaafiqah and those who ally with them – those whose figurehead (Muhammad Bin Haadi) is guilty of false Tabdee, slander against some of the scholars and has obstinately persisted upon this crime. O supports of Khaalid Uthmaan! Advise your mentor to restrain his tongue lest that which befell Khaalid Abdur Rahmaan befalls him. see below

http://www.manhaj.com/manhaj/articles/omtup-revilement-of-the-misguided-liar-khalid-abd-al-rahman-al-misri-upon-shaykh-rabi.cfm

https://abukhadeejah.com/exposing-khalid-misris-deceit-against-shaikh-rabee/

To conclude, we say to the supports of Khaalid Uthmaan and that they remind him as follows: The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Indeed, Allaah hates the eloquent one among men who moves his tongue round [within his teeth], as cattle do”. Al-Allaamah Abdul Muhsin Al-Abbaad [may Allaah preserve him] said, “The person intended in this hadeeth is the one who speaks eloquently, while using obscure or ambiguous language, immerses himself in speech and burdens himself. He burdens himself in speech and thus utters something blameworthy. However, if this [eloquence] is not done by way of burdening oneself in speech, such as the one whom Allaah has granted eloquence and he utilises it in his speech in order to clarify the truth, then this is not blameworthy. Allaah hates the person who speaks eloquently and utters that which is blameworthy due to deliberately utilising obscure, ambiguous and burdensome speech. This person is likened to a cow that moves its tongue round [among its teeth] when eating. It is said that a cow is not like other animals-because other animals use their teeth but a cow uses its tongue. This hadeeth forbids the likes of this action [i.e. eloquent burdensome speech] and the one who does so is hated by Allaah. (4)

The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The most hated of men in the sight of Allaah is the one who is most quarrelsome”. Al-Allaamah Zayd Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “A warning against [blameworthy] argumentation, falling into wicked behaviour and its severe [consequences], especially if the argumentation is based on falsehood. As for when it is based on truth, there is nothing wrong with that for the one who has a right to do so; but he should be just in his argument so that he does not enter into oppression or error, and Allaah knows best. The hadeeth is related to warning against lying during argumentation- [a warning against] bringing falsehood and adorned speech into it until one change falsehood into truth and truth into falsehood – not bothered about making an oath, lying or giving false witness. All this occurs from a person who is extremely quarrelsome, goes into excess in the affair and does not feel shy in the presence of Allaah- neither fears punishment in this life nor in the next life. And when it is the case that the extremely quarrelsome person is blameworthy, then indeed the person who has good conduct – if entitled to something – during an argument and other affairs, he will not utter except truth, and will not seek after anything except the truth- neither lies nor deceives the Sharee’ah judge. This is from the characteristics of the people of Eemaan – those whom Allaah praised in the Qur’aan and the Prophet (also) praised them in the [texts of] the pure Sunnah. (5)

Changing Names Cannot Change Reality – [Rebranding “SalafiEvents” as “Markaz Umar” Will Not and Cannot Change Their True Reality, Ambitions and Goals]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Al-Allaamah Abdullaah Bin Abdur Rahmaan Abaa Batayn [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: The entire religion enters into worship, so when a person knows, is certain regarding what ‘Al ilaah’ means – that it means something worshipped and he knows the reality of what worship is, then it will become clear to him that the one who devotes an act to worship to other than Allaah has indeed worshipped that thing and taken it as a god, even if he runs away from naming it an object of worship or a god, and then calls it Tawassul, intercession or what is similar. [Refer to  ‘Footnote A’ about at-Tawassul]

A polytheist is a polytheist, whether he accepts or denies it, just as a usurer is a usurer whether he accepts or denies it, even if he does not call what he does usury. The drinker of alcohol is a drinker of alcohol, even if he calls it other than its name. It has been reported in a hadeeth that the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Indeed, a people from my Ummah will drink alcohol giving it other than its (real) name”. (1)

Al-Allaamah Zayd Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “This hadeeth contains a Prophetic miracle in relation to the information given by the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] about an affair of the unseen and that this will definitely occur. What the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] stated that alcohol will be given a name other than its real name will definitely occur. Indeed – in our era – alcohol has been given another name to deceive the people and urge them towards it, such as the name Mashroob Roohee [Spirits], instead of giving its real name Khamr as it is said, ‘Al-Khamru Takh’murul Aql [Alcohol veils (or obscures) the intellect’]. They have given it other names as well, but it does not isolate it from the fact that it is khamr and it is forbidden”. (2)

Changing names can neither change the reality of the person (or thing) nor does the ruling that apply cease. When Adee Bin Haatim [may Allaah be pleased with him] heard the statement of Allaah: [ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ أَحۡبَارَهُمۡ وَرُهۡبَـٰنَهُمۡ أَرۡبَابً۬ا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ – They have taken their priests and monks as lords besides Allah] [Surah At-tawbah. Aayah 31], he said to the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], “We did not worship them”, so the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said to him, “Do they not forbid what Allaah has made lawful and you make it forbidden, and they make lawful what Allaah has forbidden and you make it lawful?” He said, “Certainly”, so the Messenger said, “That is your worship of them”. Therefore, Adee [may Allaah be pleased with him] did not think that being in agreement with them in such an affair was tantamount to worshipping them, so the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] informed him that it was tantamount to worshipping them, even though they did not believe that it was an act of worship devoted to them. [Refer to “Footnote b”]

Likewise, what the grave worshippers do, such as invoking the inhabitants of the graves, asking them to fulfil their needs, to remove their suffering, seeking closeness to them by offering sacrifices to them and vowing to them, then this is tantamount to worshipping the inhabitants of the graves, even if those who commit such acts do not name it as such or do not believe that it is worship. Also, those who said to the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], “Set up a Dhaat Anwaat (i.e. a lote-tree in whose vicinity the idolaters used to stay and hang their weapons to seek blessings) for us” did not think that their statement was similar to the statement of the Children of Israel, “Make for us a god”. They [i.e. those new Muslims who were with the Prophet at the Battle of Husnayn] did not think that such statement was tantamount to deifying other than Allaah which negates the statement, “There is no deity worthy of worship except Allaah”, because indeed they did testify that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah and knew its meaning because they were Arabs, however this affair “Set up for us a Dhaat Anwaat” was hidden from them because they were new in Islaam until the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said to them, “Allaahu Akbar! This is a path that has proceeded (from the people of the past). By Allaah in whose Hand my soul is! You have stated just as the children of Israel said to Musa [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], ‘O Musa! Make for us Ilaahan (a deity) as they have Aalihah (deities)!’ He (Musa) said, ‘Verily, you are a people who know not (the Majesty and Greatness of Allah and what is obligatory upon you, i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone, the One and the Only God of all that exists)’. You will follow the way of those who came before you”.

If it is said, “Indeed, the prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] did not declare those new Muslims to have exited the fold of Islam”, so we say, “This shows that the one who utters a statement that is tantamount to disbelief or out of being ignorant of its meaning, he is to be notified and he becomes aware and has not disbelieved; but there is no doubt that if they took the Dhaat Anwaat as [an object of worship besides Allaah] after the disapproval of the Prophet, then they would have disbelieved”. (3) [Refer to “Footnote c”]

What do we intend to establish from the above quote?

We only needed the statement “Changing Names Cannot Change Reality”, but decided to transmit this long quote as a reminder and benefit regarding Tawheed and Shirk in this article, because we are always in need of it; therefore, our intent here is not that the errors of the Musaafiqah is tantamount to Shirk or Kufr, lest some obstinate liar – as we have experienced in the past – intentionally fabricate mighty slanders from this quote that this is our intent; rather our intent here is the statement, “Changing Names Cannot Change Reality” and that just because Asif Shabir and Yasser Rahman – two obstinate plotters and staunch supporters of Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi – have rebranded ‘SalafiEvents’ as ‘Markaz Umar’, this cannot (and will never) change their reality in the twinkling of an eye, because their goal is still the same and that is to carry on fighting – after being exposed a few years ago https://twitter.com/AbuIyaadSP/status/775068495612612608 – on behalf of Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi in the name of Dawah, whilst utilising the service of some of those who share their sentiments, such as Dr Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhayli, whose gathering has been warned against. [Clarification by Shaikh Abu Iyaad – A warning, a Refutation, Rebuke Against a Mistake or Behaviour Does Not Automatically Necessitate Tabdee; & a Mention of Shaikh Muhammad Bin Haadi’s & Shaikh Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhaylee’s Affair- [From 52mins onwards]: https://mixlr.com/albaseerah/showreel/narration-from-the-salaf-regarding-creed-and-methodology

Therefore, do not be diverted from the fact that the Musaafiqah are desperately seeking to isolate the fact that Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi is guilty of false Tabdee and he has not recanted. Read Shaykh Rabiʿ’s request for Shaykh Muḥammad bin Hādī to justify his tabdīʿ of Salafī students and shaykhs and to explicitly name the major scholars he accused of being “affected” and “destroyed” by the “Ṣaʿāfiqah” – one month, no answer.

Instead of seeking to establish justice, the Musaafiqah continue to rant and rave solely to divert attention from this affair. We remind them of Allaah’s statement:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well- Acquainted with what you do. [Surah An-Nisaa. Verse 135]

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: A person should stand out firmly for justice (whether for or against) himself, his two parents, his other close relatives and his best friend amongst the people. A person has to establish justice when dealing with his enemies and that one who deprives him of his rights, because indeed it is not permissible that hatred for his enemies leads him to be unjust towards them, just as it is not permissible that love of himself, his parents and relatives to make him abandon standing firmly for justice against them. Therefore, hatred harboured against someone should not lead him to falsehood, and love (of himself, parents, relatives, friends, allies) should not make him fall short in establishing truth, just as some of the pious predecessors said, “The just person is that one who when angry, his anger does not lead him to falsehood, and when he is pleased, it does not remove him from truth”.

The Imaam also said: When a proof that supports the truth is manifested and the one who wants to repel it finds no way of doing so, he refrains from mentioning it and thus becomes a silent devil, and sometimes he distorts it. Distortion is of two types: Distorting words and distorting meanings. Distorting words is when one utters a word in a context in which it does not establish the truth – either adding to the word or omitting something from it, or substituting it with something else- to the extent that the listener is made to believe something, whilst something else is intended by it, just as the Yahood [i.e. those Yahood who disbelieved in the Prophet & hated him] used to distort words when giving Salaam to the Prophet [i.e. saying As-Saamu Alayka (death be upon you), instead of saying Assalaamu alaykum)]. This is one type of distortion.

The second type of distortion is related to meanings – distorting the wording; giving it an interpretation that is not intended by the one who uttered it and pretending not to know its unintended meaning; or dropping other meanings intended by it etc. Allaah [The Most High] said: [وَإِن تَلۡوُ ۥۤاْ أَوۡ تُعۡرِضُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرً۬ا – and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do].

And when it is the case that a witness is required to bear witness based on what the affair should be [i.e. the complete truth], therefore neither should he hide nor change it. Turning away from the testimony is tantamount to concealment, and distortion is tantamount to alteration and substitution. Therefore, contemplate on this ayah and the treasures of knowledge it contains. The Eemaan of a person cannot be complete, except by way of accepting the texts of the sharee’ah and calling the people to them – neither turning away from them at times nor distorting them at other times. (4)

Finally, we remind Yasser Rahman, Asif and their ilk that Imaam Al-Bukhaari [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Chapter: Avoiding the Use of Tricks. And everybody will get the reward according to his intention”. Umar Ibn al-Khattaab [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions, and every person will get the reward according to what he intended. So, whoever emigrates for Allaah and His Messenger, then his emigration will be for Allaah and His Messenger, and whoever emigrates to take a worldly benefit or for a woman to marry, then his emigration will be for what he emigrated for”. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari Number 6953]

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: There is no place for trickery in Ibaadaat [i.e. acts of worship] nor in Mu’aamalaat [i.e. mutual dealings]. Therefore, it is obligatory to approach affairs through their appropriate paths. (5)

Yasser and Asif can read the explanation of this above hadeeth (Al Bukhaari 6953)- in Fat-hul Baari – under this specific chapter heading “Avoiding the Use of Tricks”; then they should sincerely ponder as to whether the tricks they’ve utilised so far are permissible, whilst seeking to beautify Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi’s affair and diverting attention from his crime of Tabdee without proof, and thus increasing the beautification of falsehood to him and his supporters.
