Abu Ibraheem (Husnayn) Recommends The Student of a Murji Mubtadi

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah) said: ‘He who loves the deeds of a people, good or bad, is just like the one who commits them'[1]

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (hafidha-hullaah) commented saying:

He who loves the deeds of a people is just like one who commits them; so if those (deeds) are good he gets a reward similar to theirs, and if those (deeds) are bad he bears the burden and sin similar to theirs. We seek Allaah’s refuge from that!

And due to this, it has been reported concerning the one who wishes to be like the scholar who teaches the people good, that he will get a reward similar to that of (that Scholar).  And the one who wishes to be like the rich person who spends his wealth in the path of Allah, (then) he will receive a reward similar to that of (that rich person) in accordance to his intention.

Likewise, the opposite of this is (with regards) to the one who wishes to be like the criminal and the people of sin, (and) wishes to be their partners in sin or give support to their views and hold it to be true, (then) he is like them even if he did not commit an act similar to theirs, (but) solely (due to the fact that) he held their views to be correct and took their side.[end of quote][2]

Abu Ibraheem (Husnayn) recommends Abu Suhaib Bassam- a student and staunch supporter  of the Murji Mubtadi, Ali Al-Halabi. When this Abu Suhaib entered the city of Manchester, he proceeded for Dawah with the followers of Al-Halabi Al-Murji Al-Mubtadi, Al-Maghraawi At-Takfeeri Al-Mubtadi and and Al-Maribi Al-Ikhwaani al-Mubtadi at Masjid As-Sunnah [Cheethamhill].

Abu Suhaib is well aware of the detail refutations of the Scholars against Halabi and his innovations, however he takes pride in defending Al-Halabi and openly keeping the company Al-Halabi’s staunch followers. Abu Suhaib is afflicted with a corrupt Walaa Wal Baraa in this affair of Al-Halabi, even though he portray himself as one who fights all bidah. In one of his lectures he stated that ”Every Bidah is Misguidance”; but what prevents him from openly refuting the innovations of Ali Al-Halabi Al-Murji al-Mubtadi?!

Also in that same lecture, Abu Suhaib quoted the statement of Ibn Mas’ood (radiyallaahu-anhu) as follows: ”Follow and do not innovate, and hold unto the old affair for you have been sufficed.”  He (Abu Suhaib) even questioned the proponents of Bidah Hasanah, asking them whether they are stupid or stubborn for holding onto this erroneous view! However, Abu Suhaib refrains from openly denouncing Al-Halabi and his innovations, even though the innovations of Ali Al-Halabi are also from the affairs of misguidance. Imaam Sufyaan Ath-Thawri (rahimahullaah) stated:

“If you loved a man for Allaah and then he innovated in Islaam and you didn’t hate him for it, you never truly loved him for Allaah.” (http://maktabah-alfawaaid.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/ath-thawree-if-you-loved-man-for-allaah.html)

So we say to Abu Ibraheem Husnayn: Do you promote the staunch supporters of Mubtadi’ah and consider them to be upon the balanced path?! How can the staunch followers of Mubtadi’ah be considered as such, rather the people upon the balanced path are those who abandon the obstinate figureheads of bidah and their staunch followers. They reject the shubuhaat of the figureheads of bidah and their staunch followers at Masjid As-Sunnah (Manchester), Masjid Al-Ghurabaa (Luton), Masjid Ibn Taymiyyah (Brixton), Masjid Al-Furqan (Manchester) and other people of hizbiyyah.

Reminder To Abu Ibraaheem About What The Balnaced Path Is

Shaikh Muhammad Bin Saalim Baazmool (may Allaah preserve him) stated:

It is widely known about some of the people that Al [ٱلۡوُسۡطَ] is only that which occupies the middle position between two things, and they do not call to attention the other meaning of this word, as mentioned in the Magnificent Qur’aan and the Prophetic Sunnah. [ٱلۡوُسۡطَ ]  in the Islamic legislation is that which is ‘Superior.’ [Allaah (The Most High)] said: said:

حَـٰفِظُواْ عَلَى ٱلصَّلَوَٲتِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ٱلۡوُسۡطَىٰ

Guard strictly (five obligatory) As-Salawaat (the prayers) especially the Salatul Wustaa (the Asr prayer) [2:238] [ٱلۡوُسۡطَىٰ]; meaning: the best, most excellent etc.

And [Allaah (The Most High)] said:

مِنۡ أَوۡسَطِ مَا تُطۡعِمُونَ أَهۡلِيكُمۡ

[مِنۡ أَوۡسَطِ ] [On the scale] of the average of that which you feed your own families” [5:89] That is: The best and most just.

And [Allaah (The Most High)] said:

وَكَذَٲلِكَ جَعَلۡنَـٰكُمۡ أُمَّةً۬ وَسَطً۬ا

Thus We have made you [أُمَّةً۬ وَسَطً۬ا] [2:143]

That is: the best and most upright.

The intent behind this is to understand that [الوسطية] in the religious context is that which is ‘best’ and the ‘Justice in the Religion’—(and it is) to follow that which Allaah (The Mighty)and Magestic) has commanded and keep away   from that which He has forbidden.  As for the explanation of [الوسطية] in the religious context with a meaning other than this meaning, it is (founded upon something) ready to crumble. It is a mirage which a thirsty one considers water (i.e. an illusion). [3]

Question Abu Ibraheem (Husnayn): Can it be said that a Murji Mubtadi Ali Al-Halabi and his staunch followers are upon the middle path? Rather the scholars have established with clear proofs that Ali al-Halabi is a Murji and an extreme Mumayyi. Ali Al-Halabi innovated principles in order to accommodate innovators such as Al-Maghraawi and Al-Maribi into the ranks of Ahlus Sunnah. So where is the balance in Ali Al-Halabi’s Manhaj and why do you associate with his staunch supporter Abu Suhaib Bassam? Be warned against giving recommendations based on ignorance or desires! Indeed, either you are confused about Abu Suhaib’s corrupt alliance or you are like him. Ponder upon this Tazkiyah from Ali Al-Halabi Al-Murji al-Mubtadi to Abu Suhaib Bassam:

Praise be to Allah, and the benediction and salutation on the Messenger of Allah on his progeny and his companions and those who follow him After that: Verily our brother in the cause of Allah, Abu Sohaib Bassam Abul Haj is from among our brothers from the salafiyyun known with us for the propagation of faith to Allah’s book and the Sunnah upon the manhaj of the salaf, refuting the deviated people of innovation. May Allah grant us the right aptitude and every virtue returns to Him.[End of Quote—original Tazkiyah in Arabic available on the net]

In the above Tazkiyah Ali al-Halabi says that Abu Suhaib refutes the people of deviation! So why has Abu Suhaib refrained from refuting the innovations of Ali Al-Halabi after the scholars have clearly established that Ali Al-Halabi has innovated. Imaam Sufyaan Ath-Thawri (rahimahullaah) stated: “If you loved a man for Allaah and then he innovated in Islaam and you didn’t hate him for it, you never truly loved him for Allaah.” (http://maktabah-alfawaaid.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/ath-thawree-if-you-loved-man-for-allaah.html)

Abu Ibraaheem: Akhi refrain from speaking without proof, for indeed it is a great sin. Allaah (The Most High) said:

وَلَا تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۚ إِنَّ السَّمْعَ وَالْبَصَرَ وَالْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُولَٰئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْئُولًا

And follow not (O man i.e., say not, or do not or witness not, etc.) that of which you have no knowledge (e.g. one’s saying: “I have seen,” while in fact he has not seen, or “I have heard,” while he has not heard). Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those you will be questioned (by Allah). [17:36]

And be remnded once again what Imaam Al-Barbahaari’s (rahimahullaah) stated: He who loves the deeds of a people is just like one who commits them; so if those (deeds) are good he gets a reward similar to theirs, and if those (deeds) are bad he bears the burden and sin similar to theirs. We seek Allaah’s refuge from that!

We ask Allaah to distance you from the company of those who defend and shelter Mubtadi’ah and grant you tawfeeq to find the balanced path and its people. Aameen.

The False Principles of Ali Hasan Al-Halabi (The Innovator)

[2] Working with a person whose wealth is Haraam and eating his food: Is this permissible?

Question:

What is the ruling on the following: Working with a person whose provision is Haraam and eating his food during occasions?

Answer:

If it is ascertained that all his wealth is haraam, it is not permissible to eat (his food). But if some haraam enters his wealth and there is also some halaal in it, there is no harm eating (his food) because you do not know whether the food is from the halaal or haraam aspect of his wealth. The basis of this affair is that it is allowed to eat InshaaAllaah because the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) ate from the food of the Yahood.

Shaikh Fawzaan says: This is what they want apparently [i.e. differing and excusing one another in Issues of Aqeedah] and this is not permissible!

Question:

This questioner says: Assalaamu akaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu, some callers put forward a principle, they say that indeed it (brings about) unity: “We unite upon that which we agree and pardon each other in that which we disagree in.”

Answer:

If this agreement is (already) in Aqeedah, then yes (we can excuse each other in other issues besides Aqeedah) as differing may occur in the subsidiary issues. The Mujtahid’s (ijtihaad) is taken when he’s correct and (the ijtihad) is abandoned if he opposes what is correct. So if there is agreement on the Aqeedah and the differing is only in Fiqh and subsidiary issues then (this affair is looked at from another) an angle. [1]

However if this differing is in Aqeedah, then upon what can we agree?! We cannot agree on anything. This is what they want apparently (i.e. excuse one another in Aqeedah issues) and this is not permissible. [2]

The Conditional Promise

Allaah (The Most High) stated:

Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion, that which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).

[F] Muhammad Al-Maaliki said: Who says that Ahlul Bidah will not enter Jannah?!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said:

”It is incumbent upon you that (you) detail (affairs) and make a distinction, for unrestricted and general (speech) without clarification has already corrupted the existence and trampled upon the intellects and opinions in every era.”

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) stated:

There has to be detailed explanation. The one who is not proficient in detailing (an affair) should keep quiet because benefit is not acquired from his speech. And every time error occurs, its cause is due to an absence of detailed explanation between truth and falsehood. So there has to be detailed explanation and distinction and an absence of mixing up (affairs).

Indeed, it may be that there is something of truth and falsehood in an opponent’s statement, so all of it is neither deemed to be false nor truth, rather a distinction is to be made between its truth and falsehood. Therefore, all of it is neither rejected nor accepted; rather a distinction is made between truth and correctness and the falsehood and error in it. And if you are not proficient in detailing (an affair), then you should not enter into this arena. [End of quote. Source: At-Ta’leeqaat Al-Mukhtasar Alaa Al-Qaseedah an-Nooniyyah: Vol: 1 (page: 216)

Indeed, even though Muhammad Al-Maaliki deliberately allowed himself to be blinded and deafened by the flattery, propaganda and lies of the Hizbiyyoon, which led him to utter much nonsense, however – out of good suspicion, even though Muhammad deserves very little- we think that the ranting and raving that overwhelmed him was the result of his failure to detail this important affair. Therefore, we remind ourselves of the following in order to clarify any doubt that may have been disseminated due to Muhammad Al-Maaliki’s lack of detail on that day.

 Bidah Al-Mukaffirah and Bidah al-Mufassiqah

Bidah Al-Mukaffirah: It is the Bidah that is tantamount to disbelief. Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali (may Allaah preserve him) was asked whether there is a difference between Bidah Al-Mukaffirah and Bidah Al-Mufassiqah; so Shaikh said that there is Bidah Mukaffirah, such as rejecting the Ruyah (i.e. denying that the believers will see Allaah in the afterlife); rejecting Allaah’s Uluww [i.e. denying that Allaah is above his creation –Allaah ascended over the Throne in a way that benefits his majesty)]; invoking other than Allaah; offering slaughtered sacrifice (i.e. animals) to other than Allaah etc. These are affairs of Bidah Al-Mukaffirah (the bidah that is tantamount to disbelief).

But we do not make Takfeer of the people who commit this type of Bidah until we establish the proofs against them. That is because some of them (i.e. the people who fall into these affairs) carry doubts and are far away from the era of Prophethood and its light (i.e. guidance). So they fall into the likes these innovations.

Rejecting the Ruyah is disbelief; rejecting Allaah’s Uluww is disbelief; the saying that the Qur’aan is created is disbelief-major disbelief. But this person, -[who testifies that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allaah, and he prays,  observes fasting, wants paradise and believes in that] -received the doubts of the people of falsehood, so he falls into the likes of these affairs (i.e. these innovations that are tantamount to disbelief). So we say to him: You have fallen into disbelief and the evidence is this and this, and we clarify for him.  So if Allaah grants him Tawfeeq and he returns to the truth, then all praise is due to Allaah. But if not, we declare him a disbeliever after establishing the proofs against him.

As for Bidah Al-Mufassiqah it is other than this (i.e. it is not at the level of that which is tantamount to disbelief)…. [Abridged and paraphrased, see www.rabee.net/ar/questions.php?cat=26&id=484 ]

On the other hand, who are those qualified to make Takfeer?

Question: O Respected Shaykh, who is the murtadd (apostate)? We hope for you to define it in a clear manner, for sometimes the judgement of apostasy can be made upon a person while there is some doubt that he had.

Shaykh Salih al-Fawzaan: “The judgement of apostasy and expelling someone from the religion is only appropriate for the people of knowledge who are firmly grounded in knowledge, and they are the judges in the various Sharee’ah law courts, and those who are able of giving legal verdicts. And this is just like the other matters, and it is not the right of every person, or from the right of those who are learning, or those who ascribe themselves to knowledge, but who have deficiency in understanding. It is not appropriate for them to make judgements of apostasy (upon others). Since, mischief will arise from this, and sometimes a Muslim might be judged as an apostate but he is not actually so. And the takfir of a Muslim who has not committed one of the nullifications of Islaam contains great danger. Whoever says to his brother “O Kaafir” or “O Faasiq, and he is not like that, then the words will fall back upon the one who said them. Hence, the ones who actually judge with apostasy are the legislative judges and those who are able and fit for giving legal verdicts. And as for those who enforce the judgements they are the leaders of the Muslims (wullaat al-amr). As for whatever is other than this, then it is mere confusion.”

Question: Some of the students of knowledge are a bit lax towards applying the word of apostasy (riddah) to a Muslim, and this person might sometimes be asked by the Muslims to carry out the hadd punishment for apostasy – when the Sultaan does not carry it out – upon the one they consider deserves it, the one who has been judged with apostasy.

Shaykh Salih al-Fawzaan: “Meting out the punishments is only appropriate for the leader of the Muslims and it is not for every person to establish the punishment, since confusion, and corruption necessarily follows from this, and also the cutting off of the society, tribulations and provocations occur. Establishing the punishments is appropriate (i.e. befits only) to the Muslim leader. The Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said, “Pardon each other for the punishments that are between you, but when the execution of the punishment reaches the [authority of the] Sultaan, then Allaah curses both the one who seeks intercession and the one who grants the intercession [i.e. to revoke the punishment].

And from the responsibilities of the Sultaan in Islaam, and from those matters that befit him is the establishment of the punishments after they have been established legislatively, via the Sharee’ah law courts, upon the one who fell into the crime for which the legislator has designated a specific punishment, such as for stealing. So what has been said is that establishing the punishments (i.e. meting them out) is from the rights of the Sultaan, and when the Muslims do not have a Sultaan amongst them, then they should just suffice with commanding the good and forbidding the evil, and calling to Allaah, the Might and Majestic, with wisdom, good admonition and arguing with that which is best. And it is not permissible for individuals (in the society) to establish the hudood, since that, as we have mentioned, will bring about chaos, and also provocations, and tribulations will arise, and this contains greater corruption than it contains rectification. And from amongst the Sharee’ah principles that are submitted to is, “Repelling the harmful things takes precedence over bringing about the beneficial things. http://www.spubs.com/sps/sp.cfm?subsecID=MNJ09&articleID=MNJ090004&articlePages=1

Finally: Muhammad Al-Maaliki’s statement should not make one heedless of the severity of bidah and its people, even if the bidah is not the one that is tantamount to disbelief. He should have detailed this affair, but obviously he was overwhelmed by that ranting and raving, and flattered by the false praise showered on him by the Hizbiyyoon of Masjid As-Sunnah, which caused him to neglect this important clarification. So do not become negligent like Muhammad Al-Maaliki. Bidah is a serious affair. The following is brief reminder from an article at www.salafipublications.com, as follows…..

Linguistically bid’ah (innovation) means ‘a newly invented matter’. The Sharee’ah definition of bid’ah is: “A newly invented way [beliefs or action] in the religion, in imitation of the Sharee’ah (prescribed Law), by which nearness to Allaah is sought, [but] not being supported by any authentic proof – neither in its foundations, nor in the manner in which it is performed.” Al-I’tisaam of ash-Shaatibee (1/37).

The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said: “Every innovation is misguidance and going astray” Reported by Abu Daawood (no. 4607), at-Tirmidhee (no. 2676) and it is saheeh. Ibn Hajr authenticated it Takhreej Ahaadeeth Ibn ul-Haajib (1/137).

And he (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) also said: “… and every innovation is misguidance and all misguidance is in the Hellfire.” Reported by an-Nasaa’ee (1/224) from Jaabir bin Abdullaah and it is saheeh as declared by Shaikh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah in Majmoo’ ul-Fataawaa (3/58).

The Messenger (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) also warned against the People of Innovation, from befriending, supporting or taking from them saying: “Whoever innovates or accommodates an innovator then upon him is the curse of Allaah, His Angels and the whole of mankind.” Reported by Bukhaaree (12/41) and Muslim (9/140)

And in his footsteps, we find the Noble Companions and the Taabi’een after them warning from the danger of innovations upon the Ummah, its people and their unity, since it is innovations which have divided the Ummah and split it asunder.

Ibn Abbaas (d. 68H) said: “Indeed the most detestable of things to Allaah are the innovations.” Reported by al-Bayhaqee in as-Sunan al-Kubraa (4/316)

Ibn Umar (d. 84H) said: “Every innovation is misguidance, even if the people see it as something good.” Reported by Abu Shaamah (no. 39)

Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) said: Do not learn from Ahlul Bidah (The people of religious innovations)…see link: http://salaficentre.com/2014/08/do-not-learn-from-ahlul-bidah-even-in-affairs-other-than-aqeedah-shaikh-uthaymeen-rahimahullaah/

Therefore, Muhammad Al-Maaliki should fear Allaah (The Most High) and stopped being a stooge of the UK Hizbiyyoon. He should fear Allaah and stop defending the staunch followers of the Mubtadi’ah [Al-Halabi (Murji Mubtadi); Al-Maghraawi (Takfeeri Mubtadi); Al-Maribi (Ikhwaani Mubtadi) and Al-Hajoori (Haddaadi Mubtadi).

[4] A Required Updated clarification regarding the Book Rifqan Ahlus Sunnah Bi-Ahlis Sunnah due to the renewed fraudulent claims and stances of the Hizbiyyoon and Ma’mayyi’oon

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

All praise is due to Allaah. Indeed the Scholars of Ahlus Sunnah clarify the truth and direct the Ummah towards clear-sightedness where it is needed. The information in this article will be updated based on a precise and beneficial article written by our elder brothers at Maktabah Salafiyyah in 2003.

The book of Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin al-Abbaad (may Allaah preserve him), if we isolate it from the context surrounding it, is a very good book and from which all Salafees who are clear in their manhaj will find great benefit – especially in knowing how to deal with each other. This applies to the true adherents of the Salafi Maanhaj, and does not include the false claimants like the staunch followers of Al-Maghraawee, Al-Ma’ribee, Al-Halabi and other people of bidah, Tamyi and hizbiyyah.

There are a few issues in the book which have been replied to by some of the people of knowledge such as the generalisations about jarh, hajr, issues of cooperation with the opposers and hizbiyyeen that have been made in that book, and also the issues of the major scholars who passed away and whether they would refute the opposer or not. Those issues were left general by the Shaykh because he saw Al-Ma’ribee to be within Ahl us Sunnah and this fitnah to be “between” Ahl us-Sunnah when the reality is otherwise, as at least 30 other Scholars have explained with detailed evidences that Al-Maribi is an Ikhwaanee fitnah imported from outside. And because this is how the Shaykh saw the matter the way he did, he was addressing those whom he considered Salafees in his view, all within Ahl us-Sunnah. But this is a matter proven incorrect by the evidence from other scholars, because the scholars have established manifest evidences to show the deviations of Al-Ma’ribee, Al-Halabi and Al-Maghraaw.

However, some of the people of Tamyee and bidah still desire to spread tribulations by way of the Shaykh’s book, due to the surrounding context in which it was written, and for which Shaykh Ahmad an-Najmee stated that he erred in this particular action of his in writing this book. Otherwise, it is known that Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin himself has warned and refuted those whom he considered to be upon corrupt methodologies, such as Safar, Salman and Adnaan Ar’oor and Hasan al-Maalikee.

And therefore in this manner, we have a good suspicion of the Shaykh in what he has done, whilst being wary of the mistake. And by thinking in this way, we have freed ourselves of any deceit and misrepresentation of the true and real situation. This does not apply to the Innovators, Hizbiyyeen and Mu’mayyi-een who are still using this book because their activities and fervour, and zeal at this moment -itself- is based upon deceit and misrepresentation of the true realities, as they are. The fraud in their actions is apparent to every sensible and honest person.

The way Salafees should view this book and those who spread it is as follows:

[1] The book contained excellent admonitions in general about certain affairs and characteristics and lays down excellent guidelines for dealings between the clear Salafees. The Shaykh brought together tremendous statements from the Book of Allaah, the Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) and the Salaf.

[2] The book discussed certain topics such as hajr, tabdee’, jarh, ta’aawun, akhtaa (errors) all of which were left general and ambiguous, with no tafseel and were tied in reality to the Shaykh’s viewpoint on the fitnah of al-Ma’ribee. These issues were raised by the Shaykh in the context of the fitnah of al-Ma’ribee in which he holds an erroneous viewpoint. The Shaykh is rewarded nevertheless, but we do not take from the errors of the scholars no matter how great their rank. This is from the distinguishing features of the usool of the Salafi manhaj. The truth is with around 30 other Shaykhs from Ahl us-Sunnah. Included within them are three senior Shaykhs who are older than Shaykh Abdul-Mushin, and some of whom are more knowledgeable of the ways of the Hizbees and Innovators than the Shaykh. Every scholar has his own speciality and excellences in certain areas, and we have to be mature in this regard, and not be like the children who just want to strike this scholar against that with slogans such as “he is older”, “he has more knowledge” and so on, which don’t really address the actual underlying reasons that explain why  a different view is held in the first place, and which don’t really get to the crux of the matter which is the overwhelming established evidence against al-Ma’ribee. This immaturity is found amongst the followers of Al-Ma’ribee, Al-Halabi, and recently Saalim At-Taweel, Abdul Maalik Ar-Ramadaani and others have behaved in this manner. So there are those upon this immaturity!

And note also the difference between the Salafees who when they say they do not take the erroneous ijtihaads of Scholars, are able to demonstrate that it is erroneous by bringing tangible hard evidence to show that it is to be considered and erroneous ijtihaad. This is a universe apart from the cheap, hollow slogans of the followers of desires who say “you make taqleed of Shaykh Rabee” etc. all of which is totally baseless and is in reality a slogan fabricated to aid falsehood and confuse the people. Shaikh Khaalid Abdur-Rahmaan Al-Misri (may Allaah preserve him) said that Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali (may Allaah preserve him) said:

لا نقول

أغمضوا أعينكم واركضوا وراءنا بل نقول

ادرسوا بفهمٍ وعقلٍ ووعي

We do not say, ”Close your eyes and gallop behind us, rather we say, study with understanding, sound reasoning and attentiveness, and together with truthfulness and sincerity.” http://www.sahab.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=149391

So note the clear difference between when the Salafees do not take the position held by Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin (because of absence of evidence to reject the Jarh Mufassar) and between the Innovators who claim Shaykh Rabee has erred and that taqleed is not to be made of him (which is a trick to reject the actual evidence that is so firmly established).

So these generalisations in the Book Rifqan Ahlus Sunnah Bi-Ahlis Sunnah can be taken in two different ways:

Firstly:

(a) Benefit can be derived for them by the Salafees who should realise the danger of falling into these matters towards their Salafee brothers who make genuine mistakes and do not persist upon them. So the general idea of warning from hasty tabdee’, hajr and so on is appropriate here, as it relates to Salafees who are upon a clear aqeedah, a clear manhaj, a clear dawah and hold clear Salafee positions and build their loyalties around these affairs. So if they err and make genuine mistakes from which they are quick to recant, then the above matters should be avoided. Again this does not include the Innovators, Hizbees and Mu’mayyi’oon, who have been warned against for their corrupt methodologies and this includes Al-Ma’ribee, Al-Halabi, Al-Maghraawi and those who obstinately defend their falsehood and revile those scholars who exposed them. These people of Tamyee, as Shaikh Abdullaah Al-Bukhaari stated, are from the most harmful of people against the Salafi Dawah. [See here, Shaikh Abdullaah’s speech: http://safeshare.tv/w/XIQbYMHYic ]. Pockets of these types of people are found in every land.

(b) Clarification should be made upon these generalisations so that the Innovators and Ahl ul-Ahwaa cannot cause confusion amongst the Salafees, and this is what has been done by Ahmad An-Najmi (rahimahullaah). These generalisations are still been utilised by all the Hizbiyyeen in all their forms, which is why you see that there is a great deal of nashaat (fervor, zeal) on behalf of certain factions to spread and distribute this book. This book is once again being utilized- in a deceitful manner- by those those obstinate followers of Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi, Al-Maghraawi, Ihyaa Turaath etc

Secondly:

If the Salafees want to benefit from the contents of this book to the degree that it can be benefited from, and that if they do read it, they must refer to the replies written upon this book that clarify the generalisations concerning hajr, ta’aawun, jarh, radd ‘alal mukhaalif, and whether Ibn Baz and Ibn Uthaymeen did or did not refute the opposers in their time, such as Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul-Khaaliq, Safar and Salmaan, and Adnaan Ar’oor and so on. And this is a blessing upon every Salafee, who due to his unique and distinct manhaj, benefits from the truth whoever it comes from in all circumstances, from the old or the young, the male or the female, as opposed to the Hizbiyyeen who because of their desires and seeking of crooked ways, are only led further astray when matters like these descend upon them, and thus you see them that when the Salafees are actively involved in clarifying the manhaj these people keep quiet and do not support them (resounding with slogans of harshness, and severity etc.) but as soon as some leeway is given to all the people of Hizbiyyah on account of erroneous ijtihaads made by some from Ahl us-Sunnah, you see these very same people coming out of the woodwork and very eager to spread and propagate doubts.

Inshaa’Allaah, we will follow up this article with some sections of Shaikh Ahmad’s (rahimahullaah) clarifications on the Book Rifqan Ahlus Sunnah Bi-Ahlis Sunnah. We ask Allaah for Ikhlaas, Sidq, Thabaat and Husnul Khaatimah. Aameen.
