The Fruits of Knowledge and Action
He (rahimahullaah) said: ”Whenever a person has vast knowledge and acts upon it, he is then (from those) believers with the most perfect Imaan and the closest to his Lord (The Blessed And Exalted) than them”

Utilise it like your riding beast and the toilet!
Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) said:
”It is befitting that a person utilises wealth in the manner he utilises his donkey for riding, and in the manner he utilises the toilet for defecation.”

The key to every evil–[We seek Allaah’s protection from that]
Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said:
”The key to every evil is (one’s) love of the worldly life and (having) a prolonged hope (i.e. for the short-lived worldly things)

Our Salaf: Utbah Ibn Ghazwaan
Utbah Ibn Ghazwaan (radiyallaahu-anhu) said:
”I seek the protection of Allaah from (considering) myself great, whilst being diminished in the Sight of Allaah.” [Saheeh Muslim 7625]
Our Salaf: Urwa Ibn Az-zubayr
”It may be that being forbearing with a belittling statement would bring me honour for a long time.” [Siyar 4/436]
