[1] Flee to Allah

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

It is You alone (O Allāh) that we worship and it is You alone that we ask for help (in Your obedience and in all of our affairs). [1]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: One of the stations of (the statement) “It is You alone (O Allah) that we worship and it is You alone that we ask for help (in Your obedience and in all of our affairs” is the station of “fleeing to Allah”. Allah [The Exalted] says: [فَفِرُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ – So flee to Allah]. [Surah Adh-Dhaariyaat. Ayah 50]
The reality of fleeing is to get away from one thing and to another thing, and it is two types: the escape of the blessed and the escape of the wretched. The escape of the blessed is to flee to Allah [The Mighty and Majestic] and the escape of the wretched is to flee from Allah and not to Him. As for fleeing to Allah, this is the fleeing of his allies (friends). Ibn Abbas [may Allah be pleased with him and his father] said regarding this Ayah [فَفِرُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ – So flee to Allah] – Meaning, flee from (Allah’s punishment) and flee to Him (for protection) through obedience. Sahl Bin Abdullah [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: “Flee from other than Allah to Allah”. Others (i.e. the other scholars) said, “Flee from Allah’s punishment (i.e. by keeping away from disobedience) to His reward through (sound) faith and obedience. [2]

[2] New Year’s Day celebration -January 1st – is Tantamount to Honouring a Roman Pagan God!

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Most High] says:

O mankind! A similitude has been coined, so listen to it (carefully): Verily! Those on whom you call besides Allah, cannot create (even) a fly, even though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly snatched away a thing from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly. So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought. They have not estimated Allah His Rightful Estimate; Verily, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty. [Surah Al-Hajj. Ayaat 73-74]
It is obligated to a servant (of Allah) to pay attention to this parable with his heart and ponder upon it properly because it cuts off the desire for Shirk. The gods worshipped by the idolaters cannot create even a fly, even if they all come to together to create it, then how about what is greater than it?! They are neither able to create a fly which is one of the weakest animals, nor are they able to gain the upper hand against it to recover what it took away from them. There is nothing more disabled and feebler than them, so how can a sensible person deem it good to worship idols (or the other things worshipped by the idolaters).

Shaikh Uways At-Taweel [may Allah preserve him] states:

This verse nullifies shirk and shows the ignorance of its people. It is a testimony that Satan plays about with them more than kids playing with a ball because they assign Godhood to images and statues that are deprived of the ability to create the most insignificant creature of the True God, even if they [i.e. those statues and images] gathered and supported one another to do so, whereas Godhood necessitates having absolute power over all the existence, absolute knowledge of all sources of knowledge, having no need of all the creation, (whilst the creation is completely dependent) upon the Lord for their needs, relief, (to remove their) distress and anxiety and (respond to their) invocations. [1]

Allah [The Exalted] says:

The likeness of those who take Auliya’ (protectors and helpers) other than Allah is as the likeness of a spider, who builds (for itself) a house, but verily, the frailest (weakest) of houses is the spider’s house, if they but knew. [Surah Al-Ankabut. Ayah 41]

Allah mentioned that they are weak and that those whom they take as protectors and helpers are weaker than them. So concerning their weakness and their goal behind taking others as protectors and helpers besides Allaah, they are similar to a spider that builds a house and it is the frailest of houses. Based on this parable, the idolators become much weaker when they take others as protectors and helpers besides Allah, and they do not benefit from those they take as protectors and helpers besides Allah, just as Allaah stated [in another Ayah]:

وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً۬ لِّيَكُونُواْ لَهُمۡ عِزًّ۬ا
كَلَّا‌ۚ سَيَكۡفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِہِمۡ وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيۡہِمۡ ضِدًّا

And they have taken (for worship) Aaliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah’s Punishment etc.). Nay, but they (the so-called gods) will deny their worship of them, and become opponents to them (on the Day of Resurrection). [Surah Maryam. Ayaat 82-83]

Allah [The Most High] says:
وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً۬ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ
لَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ نَصۡرَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ لَهُمۡ جُندٌ۬ مُّحۡضَرُونَ

And they have taken besides Allaah Aaliha (gods), hoping that they might be helped (by those so-called gods). They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning). [Surah Yaa Seen. Ayaat 74-75]

After mentioning the destruction of the nations of the idolaters, Allah said:

We wronged them not, but they wronged themselves. So their Aaliha (gods), other than Allah, whom they invoked, profited them naught when there came the Command of your Lord, nor did they add aught (to their lot) but destruction. [Surah Hud. Verse 101]

These four places in the Qur’an show that the one who takes protectors and helpers besides Allah- through whom he seeks to strengthen himself, behave arrogantly and prevail- will not achieve except the opposite, and there is a lot more about this affair in the Qur’an. This is one of the finest parables and the clearest proofs regarding the falsehood of Shirk and the deprivation of the one who commits it, and that he will achieve the opposite of what he seeks. [2]

Allah gave this similitude regarding those who worship others alongside Him, seeking honour, strength, and benefit by way of it, but Allah says that the affair is the opposite of the goal they seek because their likeness is that of a spider that builds a house to protect itself from the heat, cold and harm; but the frailest and weakest of houses is the spider’s house. The spider is one of those weak animals and its house is one of the weakest of houses, and building its house does not increase it in anything except weakness. Likewise, this is the case regarding those who take protectors and helpers besides Allah; they are in need and incapable in every way when they take protectors and helpers besides Allah to seek honour and help by way of them; so they increase weakness on their weakness, and feebleness on their feebleness because they rely on them in many of their affairs for well-being and entrust it to them, refrain from achieving it themselves and (hoping) that these [so-called] protectors and helpers will fulfill it; but they forsake them- neither receive anything (useful, beneficial, etc) nor the least (gain, benefit, etc) from their help. Had they been acquainted with the reality of knowledge, their situation, and that of those whom they take as protectors and helpers besides Allah, they would not have done so; rather they would have freed themselves from them and taken Allah as Protector and Helper- The Lord Who is able to do all things, The One Who Bestows His Special Mercy to the Believers; Who – when a servant takes Him as a Protector and an Ally, He suffices him, looks after both his religious and worldly affairs, increase him in strength upon strength in his heart [i.e. sound faith], his body [i.e. grant him the ability to seek after what is beneficial, etc], in all his circumstances and deeds. [1] New Year’s Day celebration -January 1st – is Tantamount to Honouring a Roman Pagan God!

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Allah [The Exalted] said:

Or have they taken (for worship) aliha (gods) from the earth who raise the dead? Had there been therein (in the heavens and the earth) gods besides Allah, then verily both would have been ruined. Glorified be Allah, the Lord of the Throne, (High is He) above what they attribute to Him! He cannot be questioned as to what He does, while they will be questioned. Or have they taken for worship (other) aliha (gods) besides Him? Say: “Bring your proof:” This (the Qur’an) is the Reminder for those with me and the Reminder for those before me. But most of them know not the Truth, so they are averse.  And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad) but We inspired him (saying): La ilaha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allah)], so worship Me (Alone and no one else).” [Surah Al-Anbiyaa. Aayaat 21-25]

Shaikh Uways At-Taweel [may Allah preserve him] states:

Allah [The Exalted] stated His disapproval of the polytheists – those who [worship the things they have taken as] gods in the earth, even though these (so called) gods are absolutely incapacitated and powerless; neither able to bring them back to life nor resurrect them, and this is further explained by the statement of Allah:

 وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً لاَ يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئًا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلاَ يَمْلِكُونَ ِلأَنفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّا وَلاَ نَفْعًا وَلاَ يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًا وَلاَ حَيَاةً وَلاَ نُشُورًا

Yet they have taken besides Him other aliha (gods) that created nothing but are themselves created, and possess neither hurt nor benefit for themselves, and possess no power (of causing) death, nor (of giving) life, nor of raising the dead. [Surah Al-Furqaan. Ayah 3]

Allah [The Exalted] said:

وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لَعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُحْضَرُونَ

And they have taken besides Allah aliha (gods), hoping that they might be helped (by those so-called gods). They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning). [Surah Yaaseen. Aayaat 74-75]

A polytheist worships a created thing that can neither benefit nor harm, and he abandons sincere worship to Allah – The One Who is Perfect [i.e. the only possessor of Perfect Names and Attributes; free from all weaknesses, shortcomings and imperfections], and in His Hand is the absolute control over all benefit and harm. This shows that a polytheist [or idolater] is not blessed [with guidance], his ignorance is clearly established as well as the extremity of his unjust behaviour towards Allah because it is only befitting that there is only one [true] deity, just as there cannot be except one [true] Lord. Due to this, Allah [The Exalted] said:

لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَا آلِهَةٌ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَا فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

Had there been therein (in the heavens and the earth) gods besides Allah, then verily both [i.e. the heavens and the earth] would have been ruined. Glorified be Allah, the Lord of the Throne, (High is He) above what they attribute to Him! [Surah Al-Anbiyaa. Ayah 22]

Meaning: Both the heavens and the earth would have been ruined as well the creation in them. The heavens and the earth – as one can see – are in a perfect state, intact and in perfect order. Neither is there any defect in them and obstacles [to its perfect order] nor conflict in its organisation. Therefore, this shows that the One who controls and regulates its affairs is One- its Lord is one and the deity [under whose control they are maintained] is One. If it were the case that the heavens and the earth has two [deities] that control and regulate its affairs- two lords or more, then its perfect order would have been ruined and its foundations would have been undermined. That is because they would have been obstacles and opponents to one another; so if one of them wishes to plan and administer something and the other one wishes that it should not take place, then it would be impossible for both their wishes to be fulfilled. [On the other hand], the fulfilment of the wishes of one of them would have shown that the other one is weak and unable do whatever he wants; and it is impossible that both of them will agree on everything.  Therefore, the wish of The Irresistible [i.e. Allah- the only True Lord and besides Him every other deity is false]- is what will be fulfilled without anyone being able to prevent or repel it. And this is why Allah [The Exalted] said:

مَا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ مِنْ وَلَدٍ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَهُ مِنْ إِلَهٍ إِذًا لَذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلَهٍ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلاَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! [Surah Al-Muminoon. Ayah 91]

[An Excerpt from Tafseer As-Sadi. Slightly paraphrased]

[1] “I have asked People of Knowledge and I have a Fatwa, and I am acting on the verdict”. [Examine these statements based on sound proof]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] stated:

At present when someone desires something, he says, “Such and such a person has given a verdict on this” without considering whether it has a basis in the Book and the Sunnah. You say to him, “This verdict is wrong”, he says, “It has nothing to do with me as long as the verdict was given by such and such”. If the verdict is not in agreement with his desires, he says, “This verdict is not correct or it is a harsh one”. They gather lies, and the mistakes of the scholars in a book, present and spread it amongst the people with their assumptions, saying, “The religion of Islam is easy. It does not make things difficult for the people”. When it is said to them, “Examine it (i.e. these verdicts) under the Book and Sunnah”, they say, “These are statements of the scholars”. Is the scholar greater than the Book and the Sunnah? Are his statements not to be examined under the Book and the Sunnah!? This is how the people of desires behave, and Allah’s Refuge is sought. They are those who “took their Rabbis and monks as lords besides Allah”. When they are forbidden from Bidah which Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] warned against, they say, “Such and such a person acts upon this and he is a scholar or that he is a righteous person”, “This is acted upon by the people of such and such a country and they are righteous and pious”. We say, righteousness and piety do not suffice, rather there has to be conformity to the Book and the Sunnah. Therefore, to take the statements of the scholars and (devout) worshippers as sound legal verdicts without examination under the Book and the Sunnah was a way of the people of the pre-Islamic era of ignorance [Footnote a], and they are those who took their rabbis and their monks as lords besides Allah. [Footnote b] [1]

—————————-

Footnote a: Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] stated: Al-Jaahiliyyah is derived from al-Jahl (ignorance). It is an absence of knowledge, and the intent behind it is the state of affairs before Islam.

They were in a state of ignorance in all aspects (of life) and the greatest of that was concerning worship and creed. They used to be upon the creed of Shirk..

The Jaahiliyyah Aamma (The pre-Islamic ignorance that was widespread in the world and touched every aspect of life) has ceased to exist, but it remains with some people or some of the tribes, or in some of the lands. This is Jaahiliyyah Juz’ee (aspects or traits of pre-Islamic Ignorance). As for the Jahiliyyah Aamma, this has ceased to exist after the advent of the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], but some traits of pre-Islamic ignorance remain with some of the people due to the statement of the Prophet “Among my people, there are four characteristics that belong to the pre-Islamic period which they do not abandon: boasting of high rank, reviling other peoples’ genealogies, seeking rain by stars, and wailing (i.e. for the dead)”. [reported by Muslim] This remains, but it is a trait. As for the Jaahiliyyah Aamma, it has ceased to exist. Therefore, it is not permissible to say that the people are in Jaahiliyyah. Some say, “(The people) are in a state of pre-Islamic ignorance that is more severe than the one before the advent of the Prophet”. The meaning of this (statement of theirs) is a denial of what the Messenger brought – a denial of the Qur’an, the Sunnah of the Prophet, and the abundant knowledge in our hands. This is a mistake, the people are not in Al-Jaahiliyyah, but there remain some of the traits in some individuals, some nations, and tribes, but this is a specific Jaahiliyyah. Therefore, it is incumbent to be acquainted with this affair. [2]

Footnote b: Shaikh Abdul Waahid Abu Khadeejah [may Allaah preserve him] quotes Al-Allaamah Ahmad Bin Yahyah An-Najmi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] as follows: Then Shaikhul-Islaam mentioned the saying of Allaah: [اتَّخَذُوا أَحْبَارَهُمْ وَرُهْبَانَهُمْ أَرْبَابًا مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ – They have taken their “ahbaar” and “ruhbaan” as lords besides Allah..] [at-Tawbah: 31]

The “Ahbaar” are the scholars, and the “Ruhbaan” are the general worshippers – and the habit of the people is to refer back to these two groups and take to their speech and opinions. Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, rebuked the unbelievers because they took the Ahbaar and Ruhbaan (the scholars and worshippers) as Lords besides Allaah whereby they made them as legislators of Religious Law (i.e. the Revelation). They would make halaal for them that which Allaah had made haraam, so they would then consider it to be halaal. And they would make haraam for them that which Allaah had made halaal, so they would then consider it to be haraam. This however does not necessitate, in an absolute sense, exiting from Islaam, rather this point it requires further explanation. So sometimes the one who falls into this reaches the point whereby he exits Islaam, and this is when they take them as legislators of Religious Law (i.e. the Revelation). So they take their legislation and they give it precedence over an above that which Allaah has legislated in His Book, and that which the Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wassallam) legislated, and they believe that this legislation that is not from Allaah and His Messenger is equal to Allaah’s Legislation or an increase upon it.

However, if they seek verdicts (fatwas) from them and they issue fatwas making haraam what is halaal, or making halaal what is haraam. So they obey them in making haraam the halaal matters, and making halaal the haraam matters by way of acting upon those verdicts – and the people obey them whilst they know they are sinning and they affirm the fact that it is a sin, yet they still follow them but they know internally what is halaal is halaal and what is haraam is haraam. This is then a major sin. https://abukhadeejah.com/ahmad-an-najmees-kitaab-at-tawheed-chapter-5-the-explanation-of-tawheed-and-the-shahaadah-laa-ilaaha-illallaah/

[1] Reminder to the idiot who says that Shiite Figureheads are more Muslim than non-Shiite Leaders

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Al-Allaamah Muqbil Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated: Allah [Glorified and Exalted be He] said:

And they wonder that a warner (Prophet Muhammad) has come to them from among themselves! And the disbelievers say, “This (Prophet Muhammad) is a sorcerer, a liar.  Has he made the aaliha (gods) (all) into One Ilaah (God – Allah). Verily, this is a curious thing!” And the leaders among them went about (saying), “Go on and remain constant to your aaliha (gods)! Verily, this is a thing designed (against you)! We have not heard (the like) of this among the people of these later days. This is nothing but an invention!  Has the Reminder been sent down to him (alone) from among us?” Nay! But they are in doubt about My Reminder (this Qur’an)! Nay, but they have not tasted (My) Torment! [Surah Saad. Ayaat 4-8]

So, you say to the Raafidah [Footnote a], “Indeed, it is shirk to invoke other than Allah with regards to seeking benefit and protection from harm in a matter which none can (fulfill) besides Allah.  It is not permissible to invoke Ali Ibn Abee Taalib [may Allah be pleased with him] or other than him amongst the dead [may Allah have mercy upon them] because Allah [The Mighty and Majestic] said:

And those, whom you invoke or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmeer (the thin membrane over the date stone).  If you invoke (or call upon) them, they hear not your call, and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it (your request) to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them. And none can inform you (O Muhammad) like Him Who is the All-Knower (of each and everything).  O mankind! it is you who stand in need of Allah, but Allah is Rich (Free of all wants and needs), Worthy of all praise. [Surah Faatir. Ayaat 13-14]

And Allah [Glorified be He and free is He from all imperfections] said:

And who is more astray than one who calls (invokes) besides Allah, such as will not answer him till the Day of Resurrection, and who are (even) unaware of their calls (invocations) to them?  And when mankind are gathered (on the Day of Resurrection), they (false deities) will become enemies for them and will deny their worshipping.’ [Surah Al-Ahqaaf. Ayaat 5-6]

And Allah [Glorified be He and free is He from all imperfections] said:
وَمَن يَدۡعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ لَا بُرۡهَـٰنَ لَهُ ۥ بِهِۦ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُ ۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦۤ‌ۚ إِنَّهُ ۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ

And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allaah, any other ilaah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kaafiroon (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful.’ [Surah Al-Muminoon. Ayah 117]

And if you say, “Indeed others have joined them (i.e. the Mushrikoon) in this (affair”, so I say, “Whoever joins them in this (affair of shirk) is similar to them”.  [Footnote b]

Allah said:

And invoke not besides Allah, any that will neither profit you, nor hurt you, but if (in case) you did so, you shall certainly be one of the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers).  And if Allaah touches you with hurt, there is none who can remove it but He; and if He intends any good for you, there is none who can repel His Favour which He causes it to reach whomsoever of His slaves He will. And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.’ [Surah Yunus. Ayah 106-107]

When you convey these verses and what is similar to them to the (Rawaafid), and then say to them, “Indeed, is it permissible to call upon the dead and seek deliverance and rescue from them?”  They (reply), “You are a Wahhaabi. You hate the family of the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]”. This is the same (affair) regarding the extreme Soofees when you say, “Indeed, the Awliyaa can neither benefit nor harm”, they say, “You hate the Awliyaa”. Indeed, mighty is the statement that comes out of the mouths of these two sects; they utter nothing but a lie! [1]

Footnote a: Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] was asked: Is it correct that the first to innovate the Madhab of the Raafidah was Abdullah Ibn Saba the Yahoodee? Response: Yes, without a doubt. The Raafidah or the Shiites in general are of two types: The Shiites from the fire worshippers and the Shiites from the Yahood. They hide behind Islam in order to corrupt it. The Yahood plotted through Abdullah Ibn Sabah and the first affair he began with was to ignite fitnah against Uthmaan [may Allah be pleased with him]. Listen to here: https://safeshare.tv/x/krhxTksllR

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah preserve him] was asked: O Our Shaikh! The questioner says, “What is the ruling on the common people of the Rawaafid (shiites) and how do we deal with them?”

Answer: The questioner differentiates between the common people and those other than them. This is a good approach. The common people who neither speak ill of the wives of Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] nor do they make Takfeer of the Sahaabah [may Allah be pleased with them], nor do they believe that the Qur’an is distorted, but they have some Rafd [i.e. beliefs of the Raafidah] and some hatred for the Sahaabah without making Takfeer of them and what is similar; then these ones are misguided Mubtadi’ah and we do not declare them disbelievers. (But) whoever joins their heretics in pronouncing Takfeer against the companions of Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], speaking ill of the wives of the Messenger’s wives, and the filthy belief that the Qur’an has been distorted and that there is an addition and deficiency in it, then this (person) is a Kaafir similar to the disbelievers of the Yahood and Nasaaraa. There is no differentiation between their common people and their scholars (in this affair).

Question: How do we deal with them? Answer: If dealing with them is with regards to a worldly affair—business transactions and what is similar, it is permissible to trade with a Yahoodi, a Nasraani, and a Raafidee. However, as for co-operating with them in the affairs of religion, then never. [وَلَا تَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٲنِ‌ۚ -Do not help one another in sin and transgression]. Their scholars and callers are to be boycotted and warned against. [2]

One of the powerful supplications to remember whilst supplicating for our defenceless Palestinian brothers and sisters

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Anas Bin Malik [may Allah be pleased with him] said, I was sitting with Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] and a man was offering prayer. He then made supplication:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ الْمَنَّانُ بَدِيعُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ يَا ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ يَا حَىُّ يَا قَيُّومُ

“O Allah, I ask You by virtue of the fact that (all) praise is due to You, there is no deity worthy of worship, except You, The Beneficent Bestower of Bounties. The One such that all favors and blessings originate from Him. Al-Mannaan (The One Who granted them and favored the creation with them). (a) The Originator of the Heavens and the Earth, the Owner of Majesty and Honour. The Ever-Living Who always remains without any beginning or any end, with Perfect and Ever-Lasting Life, Who never dies nor passes away, The Self-Subsisting One upon Whom everything depends. The One Who sustains everything that exists. The One Who has no need whatsoever of anything but rather everything in existence has total need of Him”. (b) The Prophet then said, “He has supplicated Allah using His Greatest Name when supplicated by this name, He answers, and when asked by this name He gives”. [1]
