The Scholars on Muhammad Al-Maghraawi and Abul Hasan Al Misri
Why Do We Give Precedence to the Criticisms of Those Scholars Who Have Criticized With Detailed Evidences over the General Praise of Other Scholars?
Know O Sunni Salafi, the people of hizbiyyah are always armed with doubts by which they seek to destroy the science of Jarh Wat-Tadeel.
So they deliberately abandon the detailed criticisms of the scholars that are based on clear evidences and then cling to the general praises given to their figureheads.
They employ this deceitful method seeking to confuse the people. And when the Salafis called for the correct application of this issue of giving precedence to the detailed criticisms of the scholars over their general praises, they accuse the Salafis of extremism and harshness. This is exactly the behaviour of the people of tahazzub at Greenlane, Luton and else where; of those who seek to defend the innovators such as Abul Hasan, Maghraawee and their figure heads upon Tahazzub, such as Suhaib Hasan.Visit the following links for a discussion of the issue of the correct position on ‘Detailed Criticism and General Praise’.

So after reading the above article, then know that Shaikh Rabee, Shaikh Ahmad An-Najmi and others have unveiled the innovations of Maghraawee and Abul Hasan. See Shaikh Rabee’s refutations on salafitalk.net. Also see ‘Irwaa Al-Ghaleel Fee Difaa-I An-Shaikh Rabee’ of Sheikh Abu Usaamah Al-Uthaybee.
