Whenever The So Called Powerful Ones In The Earth -[In Any Era] -Promote One Another And Plan to Transgress Against The Slaves of Allaah, Then Remember This!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

In Surah Al-Ankabut [Aayaat 38-40], after Allaah (The Most High) mentioned the people of Aad and Thamood, Allaah then mentioned the other haughty criminals Qaaroon, Fir’awn and Haamaan, saying: [وَقَـٰرُونَ وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَـٰمَـٰنَ‌ۖ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مُّوسَىٰ بِٱلۡبَيِّنَـٰتِ فَٱسۡتَڪۡبَرُواْ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا كَانُواْ سَـٰبِقِينَ  – And Qaaroon, Fir’aun (Pharaoh), and Haman; and indeed Musa (Moses) came to them with clear Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but they were arrogant in the land, yet they could not outstrip Us (escape Our punishment). [29:39]

When Moosaa Ibn Imraan  (alayhis salaam) came -with the clear signs and evidences – to Qaaroon, Fir’awn and Haamaan, they did not submit; rather they became haughty in the earth towards the slaves of Allaah (i.e. the believers) and humiliated them. They (i.e. Qaaroon, Fir’awn & Haamaan) were too proud to accept the truth and thus rejected it. However, when the punishment (of Allaah) came to them, they were unable to save themselves. [Ref 1]

Those Who Sow Corruption and Sever the Ties of Kinship after Being Given Authority in the Earth

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Allaah (The Most High) says:

Would you then, if you were given the authority, do mischief in the land, and sever your ties of kinship? Such are they whom Allah has cursed, so that He has made them deaf and blinded their sight. [47:22-23]

[When given authority in the earth], a person either obeys Allaah and fulfils Allaah’s commandments, so that uprightness in all affairs and success (is achieved); or he turns away from obedience to Allaah, and thus corruption (spreads in the) earth through acts of disobedience to Allaah and severing the ties of kinship. These people – those who sow corruption in the earth and sever the ties of kinship- are cursed by Allaah; distanced from Allaah’s Mercy and drawn close to Allaah’s anger.

They neither listen to what benefits them nor can they see it (in reality). They have hearing but they do not listen in order to comply with and accept (what benefits them in reality). They have eyes, but neither do they utilise them to observe events and signs that serve as a warning (or admonition) nor are they inclined towards proofs that (truly) distinguish between truth and falsehood.

The Evil of Khurooj (Rebellion) With the Sword Is Always Preceded By Khurooj with the Tongue- By Shaikh Uthaymeen

Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) said, “There is no khurooj with the sword except that it is preceded by Khurooj with the tongue”. [Ref 1]

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzan (may Allaah preserve him) was asked:

The one (i.e. Dhul Khuwaysirah) who said to the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wsallam): ‘’be just’’; is he considered to be from the Sahaabah or is he a khaarijee, alongside the fact that he did not rebel against the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) and did not disbelieve through major (kufr etc)?

Answer:

The one (i.e. Dhul Khuwaysirah) who said to the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) ‘’be just’’ is not a just person. This was the beginning of the khawaarij in view of the fact that he accused him of oppression.  And it is not a condition that the khawaarij have to carry weapons, rather he (the person) is from the khawaarij and upon their school of thought if he believes in declaring Muslims disbelievers due to major sins (they commit). If he incites (the people) against the one in charge of the affairs through sermons and writing, (then) this is the school of thought of the khawaarij even if he does not carry weapons.

The khawaarij are of different types: Amongst them are those who carry weapons; there are those who speak like the who said to the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam), ”Be Just”; amongst them are those who write and amongst them is the one who believes in his heart, but he neither speaks nor does anything; however he has the belief of the khawaarij in his creed.  But some of them are worse than others. Is Lying Permissible in Da’wa – Shaykh Fawzaan

Question to Sheikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (hafidha-hullaah):

Is lying permissible in calling to Allaah? And is ‘the goal justifies the means’ a maslahah (benefit) from the masaalih (beneficial affairs) of the Sharee’ah?

Answer:

Lying is not permissible. It is a major sin from the major sins. It (lying) is not permissible except in three affairs which the prophet made an exception; lying during war, because war is deceit; lying in order to bring about peace between the people; and lying between married couples in order to bring about rectification to the family with regards to the relationship between (husband and the wife). These three affairs are that of maslahah, and in them is a greater good than evil; so (lying) is permissible (in this case).

As for calling to Allaah, it has no need for lies. It is not permissible to utilize lies in calling to Allaah. Calling to Allaah is to (be carried out) by way of truth, the Book, the sunnah, fine admonition and arguing in a way that is better and not by way of lies.

One of The Reasons Why the Believers Give Precedence to The Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) Over Everyone Else Amongst Mankind and Jinn

Allaah (The Most High) said:

“النَّبِيُّ أَوْلَىٰ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ

The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves. [Al-Ahzaab. Ayah:6]

Summarised benefits:

The closest thing a person possesses and the most important thing he has is him (or herself). However, the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) is more worthy of person than him (or herself). That is because the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) gave them (i.e. the creation) sincere advise, and showed them affection and compassion. There is none who shows the most mercy and compassion to the creation except that the Messenger is the greatest favour amongst the creation to the people than everyone else. That is because neither an atom’s weight of good has reached them nor an atom’s weight of evil is repelled from them, except through him (i.e. due to the message he conveyed to them from Allaah). And for this reason it is obligated on them that when the desires of their souls are in opposition to what the Messenger wants (from them), they should give precedence to what the Messenger wants (from them). They should not oppose the statement of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) with the statement of anyone else-regardless who that person may be-and they are to sacrifice themselves, their wealth and offspring in giving precedence to loving the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wsallam) over the entire creation. They are not to say anything (i.e. in the religion) until he says so, nor do they put themselves forward before him.

[Abridged and Paraphrased from ‘Tayseer Al-Kareem Ar-Rahmaan Fee Tafseer Kalaam al-Mannaan’ of Imaam Sadi (rahimahullaah). Pulisher: Daar Ibn Hazm’ 1st ed. 1424AH (Year 2003)]

The Blessing Of Eemaan

Allaah (The Most High) said:

And know that, among you there is the Messenger of Allah. If he were to obey you (i.e. follow your opinions and desires) in much of the matter, you would surely be in trouble, but Allah has endeared the Faith to you and has beautified it in your hearts, and has made disbelief, wickedness and disobedience (to Allah and His Messenger) hateful to you. These! They are the rightly guided ones, (This is) a Grace from Allah and His Favour. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. [Soorah al-Hujuraat: Ayah 7-8]

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim said:

Your love for Imaan, desire for it and its beautification in your hearts is not from yourselves; rather it is Allaah who placed it in your hearts.  He is the one who made it preferable and pleasing to you; therefore do not put yourself before My Messenger-neither speak until he speaks nor act until he commands you.  The one (i.e. Allaah) who made you love Imaan is the most knowledgeable concerning what is of benefit for His slaves than yourselves.  And had it not been the Tawfeeq of Allaah upon you, your souls would not have yielded to Imaan.  Imaan would not have been (acquired) through your consultation and bestowed from yourselves, nor would you have given it precedence because your souls are unable and weak to (do that), and cannot reach it….

Foolish Hizbis Refer To Some Deviated Young Caller As ‘Shaikh’

Shaikh Firkoos (may Allaah preserve him) was asked about applying the term Shaikh’ to everyone who enters into the field of teaching, dawah etc

The Shaikh stated that a ‘Shaikh’ is everyone who has exceeded the age of 50 –above middle age and under old age….. As for a Shaikh in the affairs of knowledge, it is applied to everyone who is advanced in age and has gained a lot of experience in various sciences and is well acquainted with it. He is able to refute Shubuhaat and establish evidences, which manifests in his ability in affairs of knowledge, and the guidance and cultivation he gives the people. He is far removed from following desires and desiring what the people possess. So it is not allowed for a beginner student to be given this title in affairs of knowledge even if he has acquired some of the sciences or is a graduate from a university, or has memorized some of Sunan of the Prophet, or has certificates, recommendations etc listen to speech here: http://safeshare.tv/v/nypmxZZVDkA

[End of Paraphrased Excerpt]

So where are those foolish Hizbis who refer to some deviated youngster as ‘Shaikh’ when it is the case that neither has that deviant reached the age of 50 nor has any scholar referred to him as such. As for their deviated elders, then they are merely Shuyookh in age and not in knowledge because they are people of deviation and desires. We ask Allaah to protect us from carelessness and foolishness. Aameen
