Al-Allaamah Al-Izz Bin Abdis Salaam (rahimahullaah) said: Had it not been for the appointment of a ruler, the beneficial universal affairs would have been lost, universal corruption would have become the reality, the strong would have overcome the weak and the (immoral) lowly ones would have overcome the noble (mannered) ones.

Shaikh Abdus-Salaam Burgess (rahimahullaah) said: The explanation of this is that the majority of the children of Adam are inclined towards injustice and love of vengeance. And had it not been that there was a ruler who administers their affairs, they would have become like the beasts of the wild and fish of the sea—the strong eats the weak. Simple Words For The Sensible One To Reflect Upon Concerning Our Circumstances Today!!!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Shaikh Raslaan (may Allaah preserve him) said:

The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) was sent within circumstances concerning which a Muslim cannot say: ”Indeed, the circumstances in which we live in more evil and more deprave in its depravity than (the circumstances in which the Prophet was sent).” (That is) because the Prophet (salal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) was sent to a disbelieving people and he guided them through one way and one path-to worship one Lord, one God, The Perfect Lord and Master upon Whom all the creation depends and He is self-sufficient, The Unique One in His Names, Attributes and Actions. There is neither another true God (worthy of worship) besides Him nor another true Lord (i.e. the creator, provider and controller of the affairs of the creation) besides Him.

Therefore, the path [of Prophet-salal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam in calling to Allaah in those circumstances] was one, and it path the (way) that the Messengers brought. The Prophet (salal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) called the Ummatud Dawah (i.e. the nation that had not yet accepted the message of Islaam) to that which is obligatory for today’s Ummatul Ijaabah (i.e. the nation that has already accepted the call of Islaam) to call to.

”A man who used to speak to the Jinn informed us that they (i.e. the Jinn) said: ”There is none more severe upon us than the one who follows the Sunnah. As for the people of desires (i.e. the innovators), we play about with them.”

Al-Allaama Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Madhalee (may Allaah preserve him) said:

I remember we were on a journey to one of the Arab countries-unfortunately-and arrived at one of the hotels; then we said, ”direct us to a restaurant”, and they directed us to what they claim was the best restaurant. We sat down and got the menu list and in it was alcohol and swine meat. So we said to the one who gave us the menu list: ”Are you a Muslim?” He said: ”Yes, I am a Muslim.” We said: ”How can you serve alcohol and swine meat to diners?” He said: ”This is my sustenance and from where would I eat then?” We said to him: ”your sustenance is with Allaah (Glorified and Exalted Be He). Indeed Allaah has guaranteed your sustenance and the doors of sustenance are open, so fear Allaah.” And we advised him in every way.

The testimony (in this incident) is that some of the Muslims work in some of the hotels in which there is alcohol and they serve swine meat. This is in an Islamic land (in which) alcohol and swine meat are served, so how about those who travel to Europe? I believe that many of them may work in these hotels, serving swine meat to those who eat it amongst the sinful Muslims, the Muslim evil doers and the disbelievers. This is from the greatest affairs of wrongdoing and from the greatest of the major sins, and it may be a means to an evil end (in this life). And Allaah’s protection is sought.

Imaam Muqbil Bin Haadee (rahimahullaah) said:

”We do not have time to defend ourselves; but we (defend) the Sunnah. And even if we are tormented with fierce battle we will not leave anyone who speaks against the Sunnah of the Messenger (Sallal-laahu-alayhi- wa-alaa-aalihi-wasallam) — be he a Shia, or a Soofee or from Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen (i.e. the deviated and destructive innovated Muslim brotherhood of Egypt and else- where); because we are to sacrifice (ourselves) for the Sunnah and our objective is the Sunnah.”

Imaam Muqbil Bin Haadee Al-Waadi’ee (rahimahullaah) said:

”If you hear a man saying: ”That is a Wahhaabee’’, then know that he is one of two men: Either he is a vicious scum or an ignoramus who does not know his knee from his elbow (i.e. he is either a stupid person or one carrying ill-informed views)”

Imaam Muqbil Bin Haadee (rahimahullaah) said:

Indeed Nad’dhaam, Abu Hudhayl and other than them amongst the enemies of the Sunnah have passed and the Sunnah of the Messenger (sallal-laahu alayhi-wasallam) has remained white and pure, and their mockery of it has not harmed it (i.e. the Sunnah). And the contemporary enemies of the Sunnah will die and the Sunnah of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi- wa-alaa aalihee wasallam,) will remain; because Allaah has guaranteed its preservation. So He (The Most High) said:إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ— Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur’an) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption)’’ [15:9]
