Warning from those who oppose the Manhaj of the Salaf – Shaykh Al-Uthaymeen

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Speaking about the people of innovation and those who carry unsound concepts or a methodology which is not upright, (then) this is from advice, and not backbiting.

Rather it is (an act of) sincerity to Allaah, His Book and His Messenger (by carrying out what is commanded and forbidding evil etc) and it is (act of sincerity) to the muslims (by giving them good advice).

So if we see an innovator spreading his innovation then it is obligatory that we make clear that he is an innovator so that the people are saved from his evil.

(Likewise) If we see an individual who has an ideology/concept opposing that which the Salaf were upon, then it is obligatory for us to clarify that so that people are not deceived by him.(Likewise) If we see a person who has a specific methodology (whose) outcome is evil then it is obligatory for us to clarify that so that the people are saved from his evil, and this (done) out of sincerity to Allaah, His Messenger and His Book; and it is sincerity to the rulers and their subjects (by giving good advice so that they saved from evil etc).

Regardless of whether speaking about the people of innovation is (done) amongst students (of knowledge) or in other gatherings, this is not backbiting.

And as long as we fear the spread of these innovations, or that concept or that methodology which is in opposition to the methodology of the Salaf; it is obligatory that we clarify so the people are not deceived by that.

[Audio Lectures @ Cardiff] The Evils of Extremism: By Ustaadh Abu Khadeejah and Ustaadh Abdul Ilaah

 The Evils of Extremism

The two lectures in the above links were delivered by Ustaadh Abu Khadeejah and Ustaadh Abdul Ilaah (may Allaah preserve them). Indeed, there is tremendous benefit in these lectures showing clearly the evil, distorted understanding, evil intentions, destructive views, false interpretations and devilish insinuations of the Khaarijite Renegades [Jihaadi Takfeeris -ISIS, Nusrah Front and those carrying their ideologies in the West and the Middle East]

We ask Allaah to reward Ustaadh Abu Khadeejah and Ustaadh Abdul Ilaah with abundant good in this life and the next; and we ask Allaah (The Most High) to reward all the students of knowledge and lecturers in the various SalafiCentres—those who stand firm in times of fitan, whilst clarifying the authentic Islamic Creed, the Sunnah of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) and understanding of the pious predecessors. And may Allaah (The Most High) reward our brothers @ Cardiff and Ustaadh Abu Abdillaah Hasan Somali for their endurance and striving. Aameen.

The severest Fitnah in this Era!

Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadi (may Allaah preserve him) said:

”Indeed, the Fitnah of this man (1) and those with him is the Fitnah of this era. It is the severest fitnah in this era; because it (falsely) wears the garb of the Salafi Methodology (i.e. falsely attributes itself to Salafiyyah) (2)

Imaam Barbahaaree speaks about the khawaarij (terrorists)

Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah) stated in Sharh- As Sunnah:

‘It is permissible to fight the Khawaarij if they attack the wealth of the Muslims, or the Muslims and their families, but if they are dispersed, then the Muslim Ruler is not to seek after them, nor are their wounded to be killed, nor is booty taken from them, nor may those taken captive be killed, nor are those who flee to be pursued.’

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) said:

And regarding the saying of Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah): ‘It is permissible to fight the Khawaarij if they attack the wealth of the Muslims, or the Muslims and their families;’ because the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) commanded that they are to be fought, and because Ali (radiyallaahu-anhu) fought them when they attacked and killed Abdullaah Ibn Khabbaab al Arrat and ripped open the stomach of his pregnant wife.  So Ameerul Mumineen Ali (radiyallaahu-anhu) decided to fight them as they brought about a good reason to be fought against.

And regarding the saying of Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah): ‘But if they are dispersed, then the Muslim leader is not to seek after them’ If they desist from fighting, the ruler is not to chase them, nor carry out a military expedition against them, as long as they do not commit acts of transgression.  And no doubt they are misguided and are to be advised in hope that they may return (repentant) and are not fought.

And regarding the saying of Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah): ‘Nor are their wounded to be killed’; because the evil of the injured person is curtailed.

And regarding the saying of Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah): ‘Nor is booty to be taken from them’, meaning: their wealth is not to be taken as war booty; because it is the wealth of the Muslims.

And regarding the saying of Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah): ‘Nor may those taken captive be killed’ because they are Muslims, and by being injured and taken as captive their evil is curtailed.

And regarding the saying of Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah): ‘Nor are those who flee to be pursued’.  If they flee, the leader is to leave them alone and not go after them as their evil is curtailed.
