Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzan:
If you desire for Allah to forgive you, then forgive those who behave badly towards you, for indeed the recompense is according to the action.
Sharh Kitaab al-Kabaa’ir pg 106
هَلْ جَزَاءُ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ
Is there any reward for good other than good? (Surah: Ar-Rahman verse 60)

An Excellent Khutbah based upon the following Ayah in which Allah says:
“And say to My slaves (i.e. the true believers of Islamic Monotheism) that they should (only) say those words that are the best. (Because) Shaitan (Satan) verily, sows disagreements among them. Surely, Shaitan (Satan) is to man a plain enemy.” [Surah Al-Israa. Ayah 53]
How many – O slaves of Allaah- enmities and wars broke out due to one evil statement, and how much love, brotherhood and [amicability, hospitality, cordiality etc] spread between the slaves due to one good statement!

Whenever you call to The Book and the Sunnah, then you are calling to unity and togetherness. Because this is what unites the people; for if they are acquainted with the Book and the Sunnah and act upon them, they will unite, come together; have mutual love for one another, (establish) brotherhood, aid one another (in righteouness and piety and not in sin and transgression) and will be saved from being in opposition to one another and from splitting.

Al Imaam Ash Shaykh Rabee ibn Haadi Al Madhkalee – May Allah Preserve Him – said:
“Nowadays when they (i.e. opponents of the Salafi Methodology) see the Salafis united and aiding one another upon birr and taqwa; just as Allah commanded, they say, ” look at these (hizbiyoon)illegal partisans!”
This is Tamyee (i.e. a statement aimed at diluting the salafi methodology ) and an empty (speech)
Coming together is either for the sake of falsehood, so it is the party of shaytaan, or it is (done) for the sake of truth, then it is the party of the Most Merciful.”
