Shaikh Fawzaan responds to the statement of the one who says that praising ahlul bidah is permissible because the Messenger praised the khawaarij
This questioner from Britain says:
We have a caller who says that indeed it is permissible to praise Ahlul Bidah and that indeed the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) praised the Khawaarij by way of his statement: A people will appear amongst you, you will belittle your prayers compared to their prayer….etc
Answer: This is not a praise from the Messenger –sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam-; he (i.e. this caller) did not complete the hadeeth (which is) ‘’They (i.e. Khawaarij) will exit the religion just as an arrow goes through its target.” The end of the Hadeeth (is), ‘’ ‘They (i.e. Khawaarij) will exit the religion just as an arrow goes through its target.” The Messenger-sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam- intended to rebuke them and warn against them, and it is not praise… Listen to audio on this link: http://www.sahab.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=155460
Question to Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him): What is the ruling on curing magic with magic out of a need?
Answer:
There is no need; there is no need; magic is not cured with disbelief because magic is disbelief,—Allaah’s refuge is sought—be it learning, teaching and acting upon it. Disbelief is not (used) as a cure. He (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: ‘’Seek (medical treatment) but do not with what is Haraam.” Abdullaah Ibn Mas’ood (radiyallaahu-anhu) stated as (reported) in Bukhaari: ”Indeed Allaah has not placed your cure in that which He has forbidden for you.”
Allaah (The Most High) said: [وَڪَذَٲلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِفِرۡعَوۡنَ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِ – Thus it was made fair-seeming, in Fir’aun’s (Pharaoh) eyes, the evil of his deeds]
Evil deeds were made fair seeming to him, so shaytaan did not cease to make it fair seeming to him, whilst he called to it and beautified it, until he saw it as something good. He called to it and debated (in a manner) like those upon truth, whilst he was from the greatest of the corrupters.
[وَصُدَّ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِۚ – And he was hindered from the path” of truth, due to the falsehood that was made fair seeming to him. [وَمَا ڪَيۡدُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ] ”And the plot of Fir’aun (Pharaoh)]–the one who wanted to plot against the truth and give a false impression to the people that he was the one upon truth, and that Moosaa was upon falsehood—[ إِلَّا فِى تَبَابٍ – led to nothing but loss]; That is: (complete) loss and waste. It benefited him in nothing except wretchedness in this world and in the Hereafter.

The Mubtadi Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul khaaliq (may Allaah guide him) stated:
Indeed the group of scholars in Saudi are in a (state) of complete blindness and ignorance regarding the new problems and their Salafiyyah is Taqleediyyah (i.e. Salafiyyah based on blind following) and it is not worthy of anything.
Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) responded:
This speech is false, for indeed the scholars of Saudi are acquainted with the problems of the era and indeed they have written a lot about it, and I am from them- Bi hamdil laah! Indeed they have written in that regard that which cannot be counted (i.e. numerous) and they- Bi Hamdil laah- are among those who are the most knowledgeable of the Madhab of Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jamaa’ah and they follow that which the Salafus Saaleh followed in the subject matter of Tawheed, Asmaa Was-Sifaat, the subject matter of warning against bidah and in all the abwaab (areas of knowledge. Read -if you are ignorant- the Majmoo’ah of Ibn Qaasim (Ad-Durar As-Saniyyah) and the Fataawaa of our Shaikh Muhammad Bin Ibraaheem (rahimahullaah). Read what we have written in that regard (i.e. the affairs of the era) in our Fataawaa and our books are widespread among the people.
There is no doubt that what he (i.e. Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq) said about the scholars of Saudi is not correct- it is a mistake and a munkar (evil affair). It is obligatory upon you (i.e. Abdul Khaaliq) to recant from that and announce that in the newspapers in Kuwait and Saudi. We ask Allaah for guidance- for ourselves and you- and a return to the truth and steadfastness upon it. Indeed He (Allaah) is the best of those who are asked. [Source: Al-Majoo 8/242]

Some people are well known for lying and inconsistency, so he acts as if he is repentant. So regarding this person, we say: Inshaa-Allaah your repentance is accepted, but we are cautious of him until he manifests his correct repentance. [Siyaanatus Salafi’ pages 79-80]
Note: Masjid Al-Furqan promoted sayyid qutb’s books of misguidance, but they have kept quiet for a year about his misguidance. This type of silence is nothing else but a desire to hide the truth. It has been stated that the reality of lying is to give news of something in opposition to the true state of affairs. This transmission of news is not limited to speech, rather it can be through action, such as making an indication with one’s hand or nodding one’s head and it can be through silence. It is also said that the liar is a thief, because the thief deceives you with regards to your wealth and the liar deceives you with regards to your intellect. A man said to Al-Hasan [Al-Basri (rahimahullaah)]: I have a daughter and she has been sought for marriage; so to whom should I give her in marriage? He (Al-Hasan) said: Marry her to the one who fears Allaah, for he will be kind to her if he loves her. And he will not oppress her when he is angry with her. [1]
Brothers and sisters, may Allaah protect us all and our children from ahlul bidah and the obstinate hizbiyyoon. Does a hizbi fear Allaah (The Most High) by distancing himself from all Mubtadi’ah? Indeed, the hizbies defend innovators and this is what we witness from the obstinate followers of Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi and Al-Maghraawi at Masjid As-Sunnah (Cheethamhill) and elsewhere. They defend those who innovate in the religion of Allaah, even though they know that the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: The worst of all affairs are the newly invented matters (in the religion) and every newly invented matter (in the religion) is a bidah and every bidah is misguidance.’’

Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) said: If he (i.e. the man) is persistent upon sin, he is not to be married to, because some the pious predecessors said: ‘’He who marries his precious one (i.e. daughter) to an evil doer, then indeed he has severed her womb’’[2]
